Abstract
Introduction: Body image distortion is a core symptom of anorexia nervosa (AN), embodying dissatisfaction and overvaluation of body appearance and weight. Body image distortion is an important factor in the maintenance of weight loss behaviours such as compulsive physical exercise. Conversely, physical exercise seems to have an aggravating effect on body image in patients with AN, but the evidence is still poor. The aim of this study was to examine the relationship between body image distortion and physical exercise in AN in order to understand whether physical exercise may play a specific role in body image distortion beyond psychopathological severity. Methods: Forty patients with AN and 21 healthy controls were tested for body image distortion and different proxies of physical exercise. Univariate correlations tested the relationship between body image distortion and physical exercise in AN and control groups. Then, to experimentally assess the effect of exercise on body image distortion, participants were invited to rate their body image before and after a standardised effort test. Results: In the AN group, a correlation was found between physical activity and body image distortion (p < 0.01), which was still significant after controlling for psychopathological severity. No correlation was found in healthy controls. After a standardised effort, patients with AN had higher increases in body image distortion than healthy controls (almost 4 kg/m2 vs. 0.8 kg/m2) (p < 0.01). Discussion: Physical exercise may contribute to the distortion of body image in anorexia nervosa and explain the paradoxical augmentation of unhealthy exercise despite ongoing weight loss.

Abstract
Although the availability of the computer-based assessment has increased over the years, neuropsychology has not carried out a significant paradigm shift since the personal computer’s popularization in the 1980s. To keep up with the technological advances of healthcare and neuroscience in general, more efforts must be made in the field of clinical neuropsychology to develop and validate new and more technology-based instruments, especially considering new variables and paradigms when compared to paper and pencil tests.

Abstract
A drive for physical activity despite underweight is a core feature of anorexia nervosa. This pilot study detects which aspect of physical activity, if any, could be related to cognitive rigidity in anorexia nervosa. Twenty-eight outpatients with anorexia nervosa and 24 healthy participants were assessed for cognitive flexibility with the Trail Making Test (TMT) and for multiple dimensions of physical activity by subjective and objective assessments. Correlation analysis was conducted to disentangle the relationship between cognitive rigidity and the different aspects of physical activity, then, the moderating effect of anorexia nervosa on this relationship was assessed. A principal component analysis was performed to incorporate all variables of physical activity in (a) global factor(s) reflecting the multidimensional nature of this construct. Cognitive rigidity (TMT b - a score) was significantly correlated to the amount of objectively assessed physical activity estimated, only in the sample of patients with anorexia nervosa. The principal component analysis confirms the correlation between a single construct of "physical activity" and cognitive rigidity in anorexia nervosa only. This pilot study suggests a relationship between cognitive rigidity and physical activity that could help explain the persistence of the latter despite ongoing malnutrition in patients with anorexia nervosa.

Abstract
Objective Research investigating cognitive moderators of the intention–behaviour relationship and psychological consequences of failure to enact intentions is usually conducted in a single‐behaviour paradigm. A multiple‐behaviour paradigm is introduced which overcomes bias inherent to single‐behaviour designs and allows testing of novel hypotheses. Two exploratory studies illustrate the utility of this new paradigm by investigating the role of cognitive predictors and psychological correlates of intention–behaviour relationships. Method The proposed method involves measuring multiple intentions across common areas of life activity at baseline and corresponding behaviours at follow‐up. In two studies, 51 intentions and behaviours were assessed (49 by self‐report, 2 objectively). In Study 1, participants (n = 126) also completed self‐reported measures of everyday cognitive failures and dysexecutive behaviours, crystallised intelligence (Mill Hill Vocabulary Scale) at baseline and Quality of Life (QoL; follow‐up). In Study 2, objective executive function measures (Stroop, Go/NoGo task and Word Fluency test) were completed by N = 30 participants. Results The total number of intentions, cognitive, and QoL measures were unrelated to the percentage of intentions enacted. Crystallised intelligence was related to successful intention implementation and problems with emotion regulation were associated with forming fewer intentions and with fewer failed intentions. QoL was strongly related with more intentions, regardless of whether or not these were implemented. Study 2 showed that cognitive flexibility (word fluency) and task errors, rather than Stroop effect and Go/No‐Go performance were related, to intention–behaviour congruence. Conclusion Intention–behaviour relationships might be better understood when considering the multiple intentions and behaviours that people are engaged in at once at any one point in time. A multiple‐behaviour paradigm suggests novel hypotheses. Preliminary findings reported here require replication. Anticipated applications of the paradigm are outlined and discussed.

Abstract
Computerized testing methods have long been regarded as a potentially powerful asset for providing psychological assessment services. Ever since computers were first introduced and adapted to the field of assessment psychology in the 1950s, they have been a valuable aid for scoring, data processing, and even interpretation of test results. The history and status of computer-based personality and neuropsychological tests are discussed in this article. Several pertinent issues involved in providing test interpretation by computer are highlighted. Advances in computer-based test use, such as computerized adaptive testing, are described and problems noted. Today, there is great interest in expanding the availability of psychological assessment applications on the Internet. Although these applications show great promise, there are a number of problems associated with providing psychological tests on the Internet that need to be addressed by psychologists before the Internet can become a major medium for psychological service delivery.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Computers have been used for a number of years in neuropsychological assessment to facilitate the scoring, interpretation, and administration of a variety of commonly used tests. There has been recent interest in applying computerized technology to pediatric neuropsychological assessment, which poses unique demands based on the need to interpret performance relative to the child's developmental level. FINDINGS However, pediatric neuropsychologists have tended to implement computers in the scoring, but not administration, of tests. This trend is changing based on the work of experimental neuropsychologists who frequently combine data obtained from test batteries with lesion or neuroimaging data allowing descriptions of brain-behavior relations to be made with increasing confidence. One such battery is the Cambridge Neuropsychological Testing Automated Battery (CANTAB), and current studies in which the CANTAB has been used to measure executive functions in children are reviewed. CONCLUSIONS Computerized batteries of this type can record aspects of performance that are difficult for psychometrists to achieve, and these may reflect activity in developing neural networks with more sensitivity than can be achieved with traditional tests. However, before computerized test administration becomes a routine part of pediatric neuropsychological assessment, several obstacles must be overcome. Despite these limitations, it is concluded that computerized assessment can improve the field by facilitating the collection of normative and clinical data.
