Abstract
OBJECTIVES SLE is a systemic autoimmune disease characterized by heterogeneous manifestations and severity, with frequent lung involvement. Among pulmonary function tests, the measure of the diffusing capacity of the lungs for carbon monoxide (DLCO) is a noninvasive and sensitive tool assessing pulmonary microcirculation. Asymptomatic and isolated DLCO alteration has frequently been reported in SLE, but its clinical relevance has not been established. METHODS This retrospective study focused on 232 SLE patients fulfilling the 2019 EULAR/ACR classification criteria for SLE. Data were collected from the patient's medical record, including demographic, clinical and immunological characteristics, while DLCO was measured when performing pulmonary function tests as part of routine patient follow-up. RESULTS At the end of follow-up, DLCO alteration (<70% of predicted value) was measured at least once in 154 patients (66.4%), and was associated with a history of smoking as well as interstitial lung disease, but was also associated with renal and neurological involvement. History of smoking, detection of anti-nucleosome autoantibodies and clinical lymphadenopathy at diagnosis were independent predictors of DLCO alteration, while early cutaneous involvement with photosensitivity was a protective factor. DLCO alteration, at baseline or any time during follow-up, was predictive of admission in intensive care unit and/or of all-cause death, both mainly due to severe disease flares and premature cardiovascular complications. CONCLUSION This study suggests a link between DLCO alteration and disease damage, potentially related to SLE vasculopathy, and a prognostic value of DLCO on death or intensive care unit admission in SLE.

Abstract
PURPOSE To evaluate the association between three allergic diseases (allergic dermatitis, allergic rhinitis, and asthma) and the development of retinal vein occlusion (RVO), a major retinal disease that causes visual impairment. METHOD This study used data obtained from the Korean National Health Insurance Claims database between 2009 and 2018. The association between the three atopic triads (allergic dermatitis, allergic rhinitis, and asthma) and the occurrence of sight-threatening RVO, as determined by diagnostic and treatment codes, were analyzed. Multivariate adjusted Cox regression analysis was used to determine the hazard ratios (HRs) and 95% confidence intervals for RVO development in the presence of allergic disease. RESULTS In this population-based study, 2,160,195 (54.6%) individuals were male, 1,794,968 (45.4%) were female, and 620,938 (15.7%) were diagnosed with allergic diseases. Patients with either asthma or allergic rhinitis had a greater risk of RVO (adjusted hazard ratio (aHR) = 1.101, 95% confidence interval [CI] = 1.029-1.178 for asthma; aHR = 1.181, 95% CI = 1.147-1.215 for allergic rhinitis) compared to those without asthma or allergic rhinitis; however, patients with atopic dermatitis did not show a significant association with RVO (aHR = 1.071, 95% CI = 0.889-1.290), after adjusting for other risk factors. CONCLUSION Our study revealed that allergic rhinitis, asthma, and coexisting multiple allergic conditions were associated with an increased risk of RVO. Thus, it may be advisable to suggest an ophthalmological examination for patients with allergies due to the increased possibility of the occurrence of retinal vascular disease.

Abstract
Background Metabolic syndrome (MetS) in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) represents an additional burden and a poor prognostic factor for the onset or worsening of atherosclerosis and cardiovascular complications. In many patients with lupus nephritis (LN), MetS is often already manifested initially. Our work aimed to determine the frequency and characteristics of MetS in patients with LN, as well as the relationship components of MetS and characteristics of disease activity. Methods The clinical study included 67 patients with LN, 54 (80.59%) female and 13 (19.41%) male, with an average age of 42.86±14.46 years. Patients were divided into two groups: with MetS (35.82%) and without MetS (64.18%), active LN had (34 or 50.74%), and LN in remission (33 or 49.25%). We monitored clinical and biochemical parameters of interest. Results Comparing patients with LN collectively, as well as those with MetS and without MetS, we observed that patients with MetS were older (p=0.001), BMI (p<0.001), and systolic arterial pressure was higher (p=0.002), and smokers were more common in this group (p<0.001). In the analysis, increased triglycerides (p<0.001) and creatinine (p=0.027), and decreased albumin (p=0.050) and GFR (p=0.020) were observed in the group with MetS. MetS was present in 44.11% of patients with active LN and in 27.7% with LN in remission. The most common MetS parameter was arterial hypertension (76.6%), which correlated with GFR and creatinine; hypertriglyceridemia (47.8%), which is correlated with anti-ds-DNA Ab, erythrocyturia, proteinuria, and SLEDAI/r index; decreased HDL cholesterol (28.4%) which significantly correlated with albumin, C3 and anti-ds-DNA Ab. Conclusions In our patients with LN, MetS was associated with older age, impaired kidney function, and smoking. The most common parameter of MetS was arterial hypertension and dyslipidemia, which were significantly correlated with disease activity parameters, indicating an increased risk of cardiovascular complications in this group of patients.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is associated with a significant risk of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease, especially in the development of premature atherosclerosis. Specific prediction models for premature atherosclerosis in SLE patients are still limited. The objective of this study was to establish a predictive model for premature atherosclerosis in SLE. METHOD The study collected clinical and laboratory data from 148 SLE patients under the age of 55, between January 2021 and June 2023. The least absolute shrinkage and selection operator logistic regression model was utilized to identify potentially relevant features. Subsequently, a nomogram was developed using multivariable logistic analysis. The performance of the nomogram was evaluated through a receiver-operating characteristic curve, calibration curve, and decision curve analysis (DCA). RESULTS A total of 148 SLE patients who fulfilled the inclusion criteria were enrolled in the study, of whom 53 patients (35.81%) met the definition of premature atherosclerosis. Hypertension, antiphospholipid syndrome, azathioprine use, duration of glucocorticoid, and age of patients were included in the multivariable regression. The nomogram, based on the non-overfitting multivariable model, was internally validated and demonstrated sufficient clinical utility for assessing the risk of premature atherosclerosis (area under curve: 0.867). CONCLUSIONS The comprehensive nomogram constructed in this study serves as a useful and convenient tool for evaluating the risk of premature atherosclerosis in SLE patients. It is helpful for clinicians to early identify SLE patients with premature atherosclerosis and facilitates the implementation of more effective preventive measures. Key Points • SLE patients are at a significantly higher risk of developing premature atherosclerosis compared to the general population, and this risk persists even in cases with low disease activity. Traditional models used to evaluate and predict premature atherosclerosis in SLE patients often underestimate the risk. • This study establishes a comprehensive and visually orientated predictive model of premature atherosclerosis in SLE patients, based on clinical characteristics. • The scoring system allows for convenient and effective prediction of individual incidence of premature atherosclerosis, and could provide valuable information for identification and making further intervention decision.

Abstract
A bimodal pattern of mortality in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) exists. Early-stage deaths are predominantly caused by infection, whereas later-stage deaths are mainly caused by atherosclerotic disease. Further, although SLE-related mortality has reduced considerably in recent years, cardiovascular (CV) events remain one of the leading causes of death in people with SLE. Accelerated atherosclerosis in SLE is attributed to both an increase in traditional CV risk factors and the inflammatory effects of SLE itself. Many of these changes occur within the microenvironment of the vascular-immune interface, the site of atherosclerotic plaque development. Here, an intimate interaction between endothelial cells, vascular smooth muscle cells, and immune cells dictates physiological vs pathological responses to a chronic type 1 interferon environment. Low-density neutrophils (LDNs) have also been implicated in eliciting vasculature-damaging effects at such lesion sites. These changes are thought to be governed by dysfunctional metabolism of immune cells in this niche due at least in part to the chronic induction of type 1 interferons. Understanding these novel pathophysiological mechanisms and metabolic pathways may unveil potential innovative pharmacological targets and therapeutic opportunities for atherosclerosis, as well as shed light on the development of premature atherosclerosis in patients with SLE who develop CV events.

Abstract
A strong relationship exists between immune dysfunction and cardiovascular disease. Immune dysregulation can promote the development of cardiovascular diseases as well as exacerbate their course. The disorders may occur due to the presence of primary immune defects (currently known as inborn errors of immunity) and the more common secondary immune deficiencies. Secondary immune deficiencies can be caused by certain chronic conditions (such as diabetes, chronic kidney disease, obesity, autoimmune diseases, or cancer), nutritional deficiencies (including both lack of nutrients and bioactive non-nutrient compounds), and medical treatments and addictive substances. This article unravels the molecular linkage between the aforementioned immune system disorders and atherosclerosis.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To investigate the expression of layilin (LAYN) in human circulating monocytes and lymphocytes and its clinical significance in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). METHODS Blood samples were collected from 51 SLE patients and 50 healthy controls. Flow cytometry was used to analyze LAYN in lymphocytes and monocyte subsets. Functionally characterized molecules including human HLA, CD74 and CD62L were studied in LAYN+ monocytes. A correlation analysis was conducted between LAYN-related subsets and clinical indicators of SLE such as anti-double-stranded DNA and complements levels. ROC curves were used to explore the potential clinical diagnostic value of LAYN in SLE. RESULTS LAYN was significantly higher in monocytes than in lymphocytes and higher in CD14+CD16+ monocytes than in CD14-CD16+ and CD14+CD16- monocytes. CD74 was upregulated and CD62L was downregulated in LAYN+ monocytes compared with LAYN- monocytes. The absolute number of LAYN+ monocytes was increased in SLE patients, and the median fluorescence intensity of HLA was decreased. LAYN+ monocytes were positively correlated with complement C4, while decreased CD62L+ percentages in LAYN+ monocytes were negatively correlated with C4. The ROC analysis revealed that the area under the curve (AUCs) for CD62L+ percentages in LAYN+ monocytes, LAYN+ lymphocyte numbers, and LAYN+ monocyte numbers to distinguish SLE from healthy individuals were 0.6245, 0.6196 and 0.6173, respectively. CONCLUSION LAYN is differentially expressed in monocytes and their subpopulations and has corresponding functional differences. Changes in LAYN expression on monocytes are associated with complement C4 levels in SLE patients. These suggest that LAYN may be involved in the pathogenesis of SLE. Abstract
Systemic lupus erythematosus is a chronic connective tissue disease associated with an increased risk of premature atherosclerosis. It is estimated that approximately 10% of SLE patients develop significant atherosclerosis each year, which is responsible for premature cardiovascular disease that is largely asymptomatic. This review summarizes the most recent reports from the past few years on biomarkers of atherosclerosis in SLE, mainly focusing on immune markers. Persistent chronic inflammation of the vascular wall is an important cause of cardiovascular disease (CVD) events related to endothelial dysfunction, cell proliferation, impaired production and function of nitric oxide and microangiopathic changes. Studies on pathogenic immune mediators involved in atherosclerosis will be crucial research avenues for preventing CVD.

Abstract
Objective Premature atherosclerosis is associated with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). We have previously shown an association of anti-Ro60/La/Ro52 with antioxidized low-density lipoprotein (LDL) in SLE. Here, we hypothesized that carotid intima-media thickening (CIMT) would be associated with antioxidized LDL (anti-oxLDL)/antilipoprotein lipase (ALPL) in a specific SLE autoantibody subset (anti-Ro60 positive, anti-RNP positive, anti-SmRNP positive, or extractable nuclear antigen antibody negative). Methods We carried out a case-control study (one time-point testing) of CIMT, ALPL, anti-oxLDL, anti-low density lipoprotein (ALDL), and anti-LDL in 114 SLE patients and 117 age/sex-matched controls. The levels of total cholesterol, LDL, high-density lipoprotein (HDL), triglycerides, and HDL-Trig were also measured. A student's t-test was used for statistical analysis. Results Interestingly, the level of CIMT was highest in the SLE subset with anti-Ro60 (23/114). CIMT and anti-oxLDL were statistically significantly elevated in the anti-Ro60 SLE subset (1.3 ± 1.66, p < 0.01; 0.26 ± 0.16, p < 0.002, respectively) compared with controls (0.54 ± 1.26; 0.165 ± 0.13, respectively), but not anti-LPL/anti-LDL. CIMT was significantly elevated (0.9 ± 1.71; p < 0.05) in the SLE subset without antiextractable nuclear antigen (ENA) (63/114) compared with controls. The other antibodies in this subset were not statistically different from other SLE subsets or controls. Only antioxLDL was significantly elevated (0.29 ± 0.27; p < 0.005) in the SLE subset with anti-RNP (14/114) compared with controls, while none were elevated in the anti-SmRNP subset (6/114). We did not find any significant differences in lipids between the various SLE subsets. Conclusion CIMT segregates in anti-Ro and ENA negative groups either with or without anti-oxLDL. It will be clinically important if cardiovascular events are augmented in the SLE anti-Ro subset having elevated antioxidized LDL antibodies.

Abstract
Background: Impaired lipid metabolism contributes to accelerated inflammatory responses in addition to promoting the formation of atherosclerosis in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). We aimed to evaluate the lipid profile, inflammatory markers, and vascular diagnostic tests in active SLE patients to clarify the association between dyslipidemia and early vascular damage. Patients and Methods: 51 clinically active SLE patients and 41 age- and gender-matched control subjects were enrolled in the study. Lipoprotein subfractions were detected by Lipoprint. Brachial artery flow-mediated dilation and common carotid intima-media thickness were detected by ultrasonography. Arterial stiffness indicated by augmentation index (Aix) and pulse wave velocity was measured by arteriography. Results: We found significantly higher Aix, higher VLDL ratio, plasma triglyceride, ApoB100, and small HDL, as well as lower HDL-C, large HDL, and ApoA1 in patients with SLE. There was a significant positive correlation of Aix with triglyceride, VLDL, IDL-C, IDL-B, and LDL1. A backward stepwise multiple regression analysis showed IDL-C subfraction to be the best predictor of Aix. Conclusions: Our results indicate that in young patients with SLE, triglyceride-rich lipoproteins influence vascular function detected by Aix. These parameters may be assessed and integrated into the management plan for screening cardiovascular risk in patients with SLE.

Abstract
Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) patients display an increased risk of cardiovascular disease (CVD). With the improved clinical management of other classical severe manifestation of the disease, CVD is becoming one of the most relevant complications of SLE, and it is an important factor causing morbidity and mortality. Several immune constituents have been shown to be involved in the pathogenesis of atherosclerosis and endothelial damage in SLE patients, including specific circulating cell populations, autoantibodies, and inflammatory mediators. In this review, we summarize the presentation of CVD in SLE and the role of the autoimmune responses present in SLE patients in the induction of atherogenesis, endothelial impairment and cardiac disease. Additionally, we discuss the utility of these immune mediators as early CVD biomarkers and targets for clinical intervention in SLE patients.

Abstract
Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is a latent, insidious autoimmune disease, and with the development of gene sequencing in recent years, our study aims to develop a gene-based predictive model to explore the identification of SLE at the genetic level. First, gene expression datasets of SLE whole blood samples were collected from the Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) database. After the datasets were merged, they were divided into training and validation datasets in the ratio of 7:3, where the SLE samples and healthy samples of the training dataset were 334 and 71, respectively, and the SLE samples and healthy samples of the validation dataset were 143 and 30, respectively. The training dataset was used to build the disease risk prediction model, and the validation dataset was used to verify the model identification ability. We first analyzed differentially expressed genes (DEGs) and then used Lasso and random forest (RF) to screen out six key genes (OAS3, USP18, RTP4, SPATS2L, IFI27 and OAS1), which are essential to distinguish SLE from healthy samples. With six key genes incorporated and five iterations of 10-fold cross-validation performed into the RF model, we finally determined the RF model with optimal mtry. The mean values of area under the curve (AUC) and accuracy of the models were over 0.95. The validation dataset was then used to evaluate the AUC performance and our model had an AUC of 0.948. An external validation dataset (GSE99967) with an AUC of 0.810, an accuracy of 0.836, and a sensitivity of 0.921 was used to assess the model's performance. The external validation dataset (GSE185047) of all SLE patients yielded an SLE sensitivity of up to 0.954. The final high-throughput RF model had a mean value of AUC over 0.9, again showing good results. In conclusion, we identified key genetic biomarkers and successfully developed a novel disease risk prediction model for SLE that can be used as a new SLE disease risk prediction aid and contribute to the identification of SLE.

Abstract
Cardiovascular diseases (CVD) are one of the leading causes of high mortality in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). The Framingham risk score and other traditional risk factors do not fully reflect the CVD risk in SLE patients. Therefore, in order to stratify these high-risk patients, additional biomarkers for subclinical CVD are needed. The mechanisms of atherogenesis in SLE are still being investigated. During the past decades, many reports recognized that inflammation plays a crucial role in the development of atherosclerosis. The aim of this report is to present novel proinflammatory and pro-atherosclerotic risk factors that are closely related to SLE inflammation and which determine an increased risk for the occurrence of early cardiovascular events.

Abstract
Fewer biomarkers can be used to predict systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) related kidney injury. This paper presents an apriori algorithm of association rules to mine the predictive biomarkers for SLE-related kidney injury of negative proteinuria. An apriori algorithm of association rules was employed to identify biomarkers, and logistic regression analysis and spearman correlation analysis were used to evaluate the correlation between triglycerides and SLE-related kidney injury of negative proteinuria. Triglycerides were mined out by the apriori algorithm of association rules. The level of triglycerides was significantly higher, and it was an independent risk factor for SLE-related kidney injury. In the high-triglycerides group, the number of patients with SLE-related kidney injury, SLEDAI-2K, urine P-CAST, the level of blood urea nitrogen, serum creatinine, and proteinuria were increased. Triglycerides level was positively correlated with proteinuria and P-CAST and negatively correlated with albumin and IgG. The area under the ROC curve of triglycerides and triglycerides combined proteinuria was 0.72 and 0.82, respectively. Significantly, 50% of SLE-related kidney injuries of negative proteinuria could be identified by high triglycerides levels. High triglycerides level was found at the time of onset of kidney injury, and it was opposite to glomerular filtration rate. Triglycerides may be a potential marker for predicting SLE-related kidney injury, especially in SLE-related kidney injury of negative proteinuria. Triglycerides combined proteinuria could predict SLE-related kidney injury effectively.

Abstract
Backgroud: Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is a chronic autoimmune disease involving multiple systems with a high prevalence of nephritis and atherosclerosis. Jieduquyuziyin prescription is a famous prescription with immune modulating and inflammation controlling effects, which is efficacious in the treatment of SLE. The most critical herbs in this prescription are Qinghao and Biejia. The aim of this study was to evaluate the therapeutic effect of Qinghao-Biejia herb hair (QB) on mice with SLE combined with atherosclerosis.Materials and Methods: The effect of QB (identification using UPLC-TOF-MS) was assessed in female ApoE−/− mice intraperitoneally injected with 0.5 ml of pristane. Serum autoantibodies and lipid metabolic parameters were tested every 4 weeks, and spleen index, serum inflammatory biomarkers, renal injury, and aortic injury were observed after 16 weeks. The expression of signaling pathway in kidney tissues was observed by RT-qPCR and Western blot.Results: The mice of QB-treated group exhibited a significant reduced serum autoantibodies level, urine protein, and renal immune complex deposition. QB treatment reduced the levels of inflammatory cytokines and improved the renal pathological changes. In addition, there was a reduction in aortic atheromatous plaque and some improvement in dyslipidemia. Moreover, QB suppressed the expression of HMGB1, TLR4, and MyD88 to some extent.Conclusion: The present study implied that QB has clear efficacy for the treatment of SLE combined with atherosclerosis, and that inhibition of the HMGB1/TLR4 signaling pathway may be one of the therapeutic targets of QB for SLE combined with atherosclerosis.

Abstract
OBJECTIVES To assess nutritional status regarding selenium in adolescents with Juvenile Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (jSLE) and analyze possible associations with disease activity, insulin resistance and lipid profile. METHODS This was an observational, cross-sectional study of 31 female adolescents with jSLE and 31 healthy female volunteers as a comparison group. We obtained demographic, anthropometric (weight, stature, waist, and neck circumferences), and clinical data (disease activity measured by SLEDAI-2K) from both groups; laboratory data including: lipid profile, plasma selenium, erythrocyte glutathione peroxidase activity (GPx), plasma malondialdehyde (MDA), ultrasensitive C-reactive protein (usCRP), insulin levels, and glycemia (Homeostasis Model Assessment for Insulin Resistance-HOMA-IR). RESULTS Mean age at diagnosis of jSLE group was 15.9±1.7 years, with mean disease duration of 3.6±2.6 years. 48% of patients and controls had below-reference Se levels (≤46mcg/L). GPx was more frequently below reference levels (<4.171U/L) in the jSLE group, compared to controls. A ROC curve was used to assess the power of the variables to discriminate between both groups; insulin (AUC = 0.712; CI 95% 0.584-0.840), waist-to-height ratio (AUC = 0.704; CI 95% 0.572-0.837), and HOMA-IR (AUC = 0.689; CI 95% 0.556-0.822) were the variables with the greatest discriminatory power. Linear regression showed an independent inverse association between Se levels and c-LDL; no such correlation was found for GPx activity. SLEDAI-2 K and HOMA-IR showed no association with levels of Se and GPx activity. CONCLUSIONS Approximately, 50% of jSLE adolescents had below reference Se levels. The frequency of inadequate GPx values was higher in patients, compared to controls. There was an independent inverse association between Se and c-LDL levels in both groups; this was not the case for HOMA-IR and SLEDAI-2K. The data show the importance of assessing Se nutritional status in jSLE patients.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Dyslipidemia is often observed in rheumatic diseases, such as ankylosing spondylitis (AS), rheumatoid arthritis (RA), and systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), yet it remains to be detected whether rheumatic diseases have a causal effect on dyslipidemia. METHODS Significant (P < 5 × 10-8) and independent (r2 < 0.1) single-nucleotide polymorphisms in genome-wide association studies were selected as instrumental variables to conduct Mendelian randomization (MR) analysis. Inverse variance weighted, weighted median, and MR-Egger regression were adopted for the causal inference. Subsequently, sensitivity analysis was conducted to assess the stability and reliability of MR. RESULTS The MR results revealed positive causal relationships of AS with total cholesterol (TC) (β = 0.089, 95% CI = 0.050 to 0.128, P = 6.07 × 10-6), low-density lipoprotein (LDL) (β = 0.087, 95% CI = 0.047 to 0.127, P = 1.91 × 10-5), and high-density lipoprotein (HDL) (β = 0.043, 95% CI = 0.001 to 0.074, P = 0.009). There was no causal effect of RA on TC (β = 0.008, 95% CI = 4.86 × 10-4 to 0.017, P = 0.064), LDL (β = 6.4 × 10-4, 95% CI = -0.008 to 0.007, P = 0.871), or HDL (β = 0.005, 95% CI = -0.003 to 0.013, P = 0.200). Additionally, SLE had negative causal links for TC (β = -0.025, 95% CI = -0.036 to -0.015, P = 4.42 × 10-6), LDL (β = -0.015, 95% CI = -0.025 to -0.005, P = 0.003), and HDL (β = -0.013, 95% CI = -0.021 to -0.004, P = 0.004). The results were stable and reliable. CONCLUSION This study suggested positive causal effects of AS on TC, LDL, and HDL and negative causal effects of SLE on these cholesterol levels, which could provide much help for the pathogenesis and treatment of rheumatic disease patients with dyslipidemia.

Abstract
Glucocorticoids are steroid hormones with key roles in the regulation of many physiological systems including energy homeostasis and immunity. However, chronic glucocorticoid excess, highlighted in Cushing's syndrome, is established as being associated with increased cardiovascular disease (CVD) risk. Atherosclerosis is the major cause of CVD, leading to complications including coronary artery disease, myocardial infarction and heart failure. While the associations between glucocorticoid excess and increased prevalence of these complications are well established, the mechanisms underlying the role of glucocorticoids in development of atheroma are unclear. This review aims to better understand the importance of glucocorticoids in atherosclerosis and to dissect their cell-specific effects on key processes (e.g., contractility, remodelling and lesion development). Clinical and pre-clinical studies have shown both athero-protective and pro-atherogenic responses to glucocorticoids, effects dependent upon their multifactorial actions. Evidence indicates regulation of glucocorticoid bioavailability at the vasculature is complex, with local delivery, pre-receptor metabolism, and receptor expression contributing to responses linked to vascular remodelling and inflammation. Further investigations are required to clarify the mechanisms through which endogenous, local glucocorticoid action and systemic glucocorticoid treatment promote/inhibit atherosclerosis. This will provide greater insights into the potential benefit of glucocorticoid targeted approaches in the treatment of cardiovascular disease.
