Abstract
Cryopreservation can adversely affect sperm motility, structural integrity, and fertilization ability. This study investigated the effects of MitoQ and antifreeze protein III (AFP III) on frozen-thawed semen from eight adult dogs using a Tris-fructose extender. Ejaculates were divided and diluted with a standard Tris-fructose-egg yolk extender containing MitoQ (200 nM/mL) and AFP III (0.75, 1.0, 2.0 µg/mL), individually or combined. Post-thaw, samples were evaluated for motility, viability, membrane and acrosome integrity, lipid peroxidation, apoptosis indicators, mitochondrial function, and reactive oxygen species (ROS-H2O2). The results showed significant (p < 0.05) improvements in motility rate, progressive motility, VAP, VSL, VCL, ALH, and BCF with MitoQ or AFP alone. AFP III (0.75, 1.0 µg/mL) showed higher values than controls (p > 0.05), while MitoQ alone showed no significant effect. Viability and acrosome integrity improved with AFP III. Membrane integrity and lipid peroxidation were better in 0.75 and 1.0 µg/mL AFP III groups. ROS-H2O2 levels and mitochondrial membrane potential were unaffected except at 1.0 µg/mL AFP III. The phosphatidylserine translocation assay showed no significant differences in dead sperm between controls and individual treatments, but significant differences occurred with combined MitoQ/AFP III. In conclusion, AFP III and MitoQ in diluents protect canine sperm cells from cryodamage.

Abstract
The influence of sericin supplementation and chilling temperatures (4 and 15 °C) on the short-term storage quality and fertility of rabbit semen was assessed over 72 h of storage. In experiment 1, pooled semen (five replications) was diluted to a concentration of 50 M mL-1, and assigned to control, 0.1%, and 0.5% sericin groups, stored at 4 or 15 °C. Sperm motility, sperm kinematics, viability, and membrane and acrosome integrity were assessed at 0, 24, 48, and 72 h of storage. Experiments 2 and 3 were conducted to observe the effect of sericin on bacterial growth and in vivo fertility. The results of experiment 1 showed that sericin treatment, storage temperature, and storage duration influenced progressive and total sperm motility. The storage duration affected all sperm kinematics variables, whereas VCL, VSL, VAP, and BCF sperm kinematics altered in response to sericin treatment and storage temperature. Similarly, significant effects of sericin treatment, storage temperature, and storage duration were observed for acrosome integrity, sperm membrane integrity, and sperm viability. The results of experiment 2 indicated the antimicrobial effects of sericin when sperm were stored at 15 °C for 72 h. While promising pregnancy outcomes were observed with sericin-treated sperm for 72 h, these results were not significantly different. This study conclusively demonstrates that sericin treatment enhances the quality of rabbit semen when stored at lower temperatures for longer durations. The antimicrobial effects of sericin could be a contributing factor to the improved in vitro and in vivo fertility of rabbit sperm.

Abstract
This study investigated the effects of pure and methyl-β-cyclodextrin loaded forms of resveratrol (10 µg/mL, 20 µg/mL, and 40 µg/mL) on ram sperm functions post-thawing. Semen samples were pooled and divided into ten groups: Control, RES10, RES20, RES40, CD10, CD20, CD40, RLC10, RLC20, and RLC40. The groups were pre-diluted with media containing the group-specific chemicals, followed by 15 min of incubation, dilution, and freezing. To assess the effects of the chemicals, a post-thaw sperm quality assessment was conducted. Motility and other velocity parameters were evaluated using computer-assisted semen analysis. The functional integrity of spermatozoa membranes was assessed with the hypo-osmotic swelling test, and the capacitation status of spermatozoa was determined through fluorescent microscopic evaluation. Additionally, flow cytometry was used to evaluate mitochondrial activity, oxidative stress, and the integrity of the sperm membrane and acrosome. The results indicated that cyclodextrin adversely affected sperm functions following freezing-thawing, notably increasing the rate of spermatozoa exhibiting pre-capacitation and mitochondrial activity by approximately 34% and 16%, respectively (p < 0.05). It was found that 20 µg/mL resveratrol prevented pre-capacitation (p < 0.05). Both resveratrol and resveratrol-loaded cyclodextrin groups improved post-thaw sperm qualities overall, demonstrating their utility for freezing ram semen. However, higher concentrations of resveratrol were found to negatively impact sperm functions.

Abstract
This study investigated the potential impact of feeding whole plant basil on sperm quality and the concentration of certain reproductive hormones in male lambs. A total of 18 Zandi male lambs with an initial weight of 28.8 ± 2.03 kg were included in a completely randomized design with three treatments and six repetitions. The experimental treatments included: 1) control (basal diet without basil), 2) diet containing 12.5 % basil, and 3) diet containing 25 % basil. The results showed that feeding basil to male lambs significantly increased testosterone concentration and decreased blood cortisol levels (P < 0.05). Additionally, feeding high levels of basil significantly improved sperm concentration, motility, and viability in the experimental samples, while reducing the level of complete abnormalities and malondialdehyde concentration (P < 0.05). The findings suggest that dietary supplementation of 25 % whole plant basil could be a useful strategy to improve sperm quality and increase testosterone secretion while reducing cortisol levels in male lambs.

Abstract
This study aimed to investigate the effects of various diluents on the quality of Hu ram sperm stored at 4 °C. Semen samples were collected from three Hu rams and diluted with diluents A (Sodium citrate-Glucose-Egg yolk), B (Sodium citrate-Glucose), C (Fructose-Skimmed milk powder-Soy lecithin), and D (Tris-Fructose-Citric acid-Egg yolk). Total motility (TM), straight-line velocity (VSL), average path velocity (VAP), curvilinear velocity (VCL), average motion degree (MAD), acrosome integrity, membrane integrity, and reactive oxygen species (ROS) were evaluated. The results showed that diluent D had better preservation in terms of the sperm TM, VSL, VCL, VAP, MAD, and membrane and acrosome integrity. On the third day of the storage, the sperm PM of diluent D was higher than that of other diluents (p < 0.05). The ROS level of diluent D was lower than that of other diluents on the fifth day (p < 0.05). On the seventh day of the storage, the sperm TM in diluent D reached 50%, which was the highest in all diluent groups. On the seventh day of the storage, the integrity of the sperm membrane and the integrity of the acrosome of the sperm in diluent D were the highest in all diluent groups (p < 0.05). In conclusion, these results indicated that diluent D improved the semen quality during storage at 4 °C. In this study, diluent D was the best diluent formula for Hu ram semen stored at 4 °C.

Abstract
The present review aims to provide an overview of the assay methods for the quantification of ROS and principal enzymatic antioxidants as biomarkers of oxidative stress in erythrocytes and spermatozoa of small domestic ruminants. A complete literature search was carried out in PubMed, Scopus and the World Wide Web using relevant keywords and focusing on the last five years (2018-2023). Among spectrophotometry, fluorometry and chemiluminescence, the most widely used method for ROS assay is fluorometry, probably because it allows to simultaneously assay several ROS, using different probes, with greater economic advantages. Regarding intracellular antioxidant enzymes, recent literature reports only spectrophotometric methods, many of which use commercial kits. The use of a less sensitive but cheapest method is suitable because both erythrocytes and spermatozoa samples are highly concentrated in domestic ruminant species. All methods considered in this review have been found to be appropriate; in general, the differences are related to their costs and sensitivity. Quantification of ROS and enzymatic antioxidant activity in erythrocytes and spermatozoa may find application in the study of the welfare and health status of small domestic ruminants for monitoring livestock production.

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of different rutin concentrations on rams epididymal sperm. A local slaughterhouse provided 50 pair of testes from 25 rams. The testes were sent to the lab at room temperature. Spermatozoa were extracted by suspending portions of cauda epididymis in tris solution. Ram sperm was cryopreserved (in liquid nitrogen) in a tris extender containing rutin at 0, 0.5, 0.75, 1, and 1.25 mM. Rutin showed superior sperm total and progressive motility, beat cross frequency, straight line velocity, velocity average pathway and membrane integrity values at 0.75 and 1 mM. The morphology of the sperm and the superoxide dismutase levels did not significantly change with different treatments. Moreover, rutin at 0.75 and 1 mM was also shown to have the highest level of mitochondrial activity. The results showed ATP, total antioxidant capacity, and glutathione peroxidase levels were significantly greater in the rutin 0.75 and 1 mM groups (P < 0.05). Rutin at 0.75 and 1 mM levels had the lowest reactive oxygen species concentrations. Rutin at 0.75 and 1 mM substantially increased the proportion of viable sperm (P < 0.05). The lowest amount of apoptosis was observed in 0.75 and 1 mM rutin. Rutin at 0.75 and 1 mM yielded the least significant percentage of dead sperm. It may be inferred that adding 0.75 and 1 mM to the sperm extender can enhance the quality of the epididymal sperm in rams after the cryopreservation process.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE Reactive oxygen species (ROS) are produced during cryopreservation of human sperm and impair sperm function. Antioxidant compounds, such as fennel and purslane, reduce the damaging effects of ROS. This study aimed to evaluate motility parameters, plasma membrane integrity (PMI), mitochondrial membrane potential (MMP), intracellular ROS, and DNA damage to determine the optimum concentrations of hydroalcoholic extracts of fennel and purslane for human spermatozoa cryopreservation. METHODS Twenty human sperm samples were used and divided into seven equal groups consisting of fennel hydroalcoholic extract (5, 10, and 15 mg/L), purslane hydroalcoholic extract (25, 50, and 100 mg/L), and no additive. RESULTS Supplementation of 25 mg/L and 50 mg/L purslane extract and 10 mg/L fennel extract in cryopreservation extender significantly increased the motility and PMI of sperm with a significant reduction in intracellular ROS compared to control groups (p<0.05). A 50 mg/L concentration of purslane extract elevated progressive motility and MMP compared to the control group (p<0.05). No significant differences were seen for motion patterns and DNA damage of frozen-thawed human sperm in extender containing these extracts. CONCLUSION The results showed that supplementation of 50 mg/L purslane extract and 10 mg/L fennel extract in semen cryopreservation extender has the potential to decrease intracellular ROS and subsequently elevate the motility and PMI of human sperm.

Abstract
The effect of antifreeze protein (AFP) as a cryoprotectant used in different concentrations of glycerol on post-thaw quality of epididymal sperm was investigated. Sperm were isolated from 50 testicles, obtained from 25 healthy mature goat bucks, with progressive motility >80%, and total morphological abnormalities <10% were pooled in each replication. The semen samples were diluted with Tris-citrate-fructose-soybean lecithin extender containing different concentration of AFP [0 μg/mL (A0), 5 μg/mL (A5), 10 μg/mL (A10)]. Each concentration of AFP was added in an extender containing either 7% (G7) or 5% (G5) glycerol. Post-thaw total and progressive motility were found to be higher (p < 0.05) in groups A5G5 and A5G7. Plasma membrane integrity, sperm acrosome integrity, DNA integrity, acrosome intact sperm, and mitochondrial membrane potential were found to be higher (p < 0.05) in groups A5G5 and A10G5. Sperm viability was found to be higher (p < 0.05) in group A5G5, while lipid peroxidation was recorded lower (p < 0.05) in groups A5G5 and A5G7. Regarding the apoptosis occurrence, the results demonstrate higher (p < 0.05) live post-thawed spermatozoa for groups containing 5 μg/mL AFP with 5% and 7% glycerol in addition to the lowest (p < 0.05) value for groups containing 0 μg/mL AFP with 5% and 7% glycerol. Based on these results, the present study concludes that the addition of 5 μg/mL AFP in combination with 5% glycerol in freezing extender improves the post-thaw quality, structure, and function parameters for buck spermatozoa.

Abstract
Sperm cryopreservation contributes to the extensive utilization of artificial insemination (AI) in the daily livestock industry. However, due to the presence of few sperm with good biological function in post-thaw goat sperm, its use has been limited for AI purposes. Hence, its improvement has been the focus of many research studies. This study aimed to investigate the effects of proline supplementation of the freezing medium on goat sperm. The goat semen was cryopreserved with freezing medium supplementation of different concentrations of proline (0, 0.5, 1, 2 and 4 mM). The post-thaw sperm motility patterns, membrane integrity, acrosome integrity, lipid peroxidation (LPO) levels, malondialdehyde (MDA) levels, total antioxidant capacity (T-AOC), proline dehydrogenase (PRODH) activity, superoxide dis-mutase (SOD) activity, glutathione (GSH) levels and GSH/GSSG were evaluated. Likewise, the expression and immunofluorescent localization of PRODH in post-thaw goat sperm was also detected. It was observed that addition of 2 mM proline to the freezing medium significantly enhanced post-thaw goat sperm total motility, progressive motility, straight-linear velocity (VSL), curvilinear velocity (VCL), average path velocity (VAP), straightness (STR), linearity (LIN), membrane integrity and acrosome integrity. Interestingly, PRODH was expressed in post-thaw goat sperm, especially in the post-acrosome and sperm tail. Addition of 2 mM proline also significantly increased the post-thaw sperm PRODH activity compared to the control. Moreover, post-thaw goat sperm LPO levels and MDA levels were reduced by supplementation of 2 mM proline. Furthermore, compared to the control, the values of post-thaw goat sperm T-AOC, SOD activity, GSH level and GSH/GSSG were also significantly increased in 2 mM proline treatment. Reduction of post-thaw goat sperm apoptosis in 2 mM proline treatment was also observed as the levels of Caspase3 and Caspase9 were decreased by the supplementation with 2 mM proline. These observations suggest that the addition of 2 mM proline to the freezing medium increased post-thaw goat sperm quality by reducing oxidative stress during cryopreservation. These findings also provide novel insights into the use of proline as an efficient additive to enhance post-thaw goat sperm quality during cryopreservation.

Abstract
Highlights Using cysteine and purslane extracts in extenders improved significantly the post-thaw sperm characteristics. Sperm viability, DNA integrity, and mitochondrial activity demonstrate an improvement in post-thaw sperm. Malondialdehyde production was decreased based on the positive effects of treated extenders. The obtained results demonstrate that supplementation of 50 μg/mL of purslane methanolic extract with cysteine to freezing extenders was significantly superior compared with other treatments.

Abstract
Freezing of sperm is known as an important part of assisted reproduction. However, many studies have illustrated that cryopreservation negatively affects the quality and fertility rate of sperm. This study aimed to evaluate the effects of trehalose and pentoxifylline (PTX) in diluents on cooled and frozen-thawed Markhoz goat sperm. Preassessed samples were pooled and diluted with a basic diluent using trehalose and PTX. The cooled sperm showed significant improvement. The motion characteristics of cryopreserved sperm were evaluated based on computer-assisted system analysis. In this study, we investigated the viability, membrane integrity, malondialdehyde concentration, total abnormality, acrosome integrity, and seminal hyaluronidase enzyme. Also, the hypo-osmotic swelling test, mitochondrial activity, apoptotic features, caspase activity, chromatin dispersion test, active mitochondria, and reactive oxygen species (ROS) activity were assessed as complementary parameters. The data illustrate that the total motility, progressive motility, average path velocity (VAP), straight-line velocity (VSL), curvilinear velocity (VCL), and the ratio of sperm chromatin dispersion, viable sperm were improved significantly (p < 0.05) using 3 mM PTX alone or 3 mM PTX plus 50 mM trehalose, while other characteristics indicate significant enhancement by 3 and 6 mM PTX and 50 and 70 mM trehalose alone or in combination, except amplitude of lateral head displacement (ALH), beat/cross frequency (BCF), and intracellular ROS-(O-), which demonstrate no significant difference among treatments. In conclusion, this study indicates that addition of 3 and 6 mM PTX alone or with 50 and 70 mM trehalose seems to reduce the damage caused by cooling and cryopreservation processes.

Abstract
The novel antibiotic-exploiting strategy in the treatment of Alzheimer's (AD) and Parkinson's (PD) disease has emerged as a potential breakthrough in the field. The research in animal AD/PD models provided evidence on the antiamyloidogenic, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and antiapoptotic activity of tetracyclines, associated with cognitive improvement. The neuroprotective effects of minocycline and doxycycline in animals initiated investigation of their clinical efficacy in AD and PD patients which led to inconclusive results and additionally to insufficient safety data on a long-standing doxycycline and minocycline therapy in these patient populations. The safety issues should be considered in two levels; in AD/PD patients (particularly antibiotic-induced alteration of gut microbiota and its consequences), and as a world-wide threat of development of bacterial resistance to these antibiotics posed by a fact that AD and PD are widespread incurable diseases which require daily administered long-lasting antibiotic therapy. Recently proposed subantimicrobial doxycycline doses should be thoroughly explored for their effectiveness and long-term safety especially in AD/PD populations. Keeping in mind the antibacterial activity-related far-reaching undesirable effects both for the patients and globally, further work on repurposing these drugs for a long-standing therapy of AD/PD should consider the chemically modified tetracycline compounds tailored to lack antimicrobial but retain (or introduce) other activities effective against the AD/PD pathology. This strategy might reduce the risk of long-term therapy-related adverse effects (particularly gut-related ones) and development of bacterial resistance toward the tetracycline antibiotic agents but the therapeutic potential and desirable safety profile of such compounds in AD/PD patients need to be confirmed.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To investigate the effect of minocycline on morphine withdrawal symptoms. METHODS We established a rat model of morphine dependence, then injected the animals with naloxone to induce withdrawal symptoms. Minocycline was injected into the midbrain periaqueductal gray and its effect on withdrawal symptoms and Ca2+-dependent protein kinase (CaMKII), Ras, and phospho-extracellular signal-regulated kinase (p-ERK) expression was observed. RESULTS Minocycline inhibited withdrawal symptoms such as "wet dog" shakes, teeth chatter, and ptosis, perhaps by inhibiting the activation of microglia and the expression of CaMKII, Ras, and p-ERK. Minocycline had no effect on the behavior of control rats or on CaMKII, Ras, or p-ERK expression. CONCLUSION Minocycline alleviates morphine withdrawal symptoms by inhibiting the activation of microglia and downregulating the expression of CaMKII, Ras, and p-ERK.

Abstract
This study investigates the effect of adding Tribulus terrestris ethanol extract (TEE) and Cinnamomum zeylanicum ethanol extract (CEE) and trehalose on freezability of goat epididymal spermatozoa. In Experiment 1, the treatments consist of basic extender containing 25, 50 or 100 μg/ml of TEE or CEE. The control contained no additives. Experiment 2 was carried out to compare the effect of best concentrations resulted in the first experiment with 150 mM trehalose added to basic extender. The results of experiment 1 showed that supplementation of 50 μg/ml TEE and 50 μg/ml CEE increased significantly the percentages of motility, progressive motility and viability of cryopreserved spermatozoa, while the level of malondialdehyde concentration was decreased. Moreover, the 50 μg/ml TEE treatment indicate significantly) P < 0.05) the lowest DNA fragmentation among the other treatments. The data obtained from experiment 2 show that all treatments increased significantly) P < 0.05) the percentages of total motility, viability and membrane integrity, and concurrently decreased the rate of MDA compared to control. In addition, the rates of viability and progressive motility were significantly (P < 0.05) higher in diluents contained herb extracts and trehalose. Regarding DNA fragmentation, the results demonstrate that using the extracts and trehalose in diluents decreased the DNA damages and thereby improved the rate of intact sperm heads. In conclusion, the results of this study indicate that 50 μg/ml of Tribulus terrestris and Cinnamomum zeylanicum ethanolic extracts alone and plus trehalose improved the spermatozoa quality and could be used for cryopreservation.

Abstract
Testicular torsion is a serious urological disease leading to testicular damage. This study aimed to assess the effect of minocycline on testicular ischaemia/reperfusion (I/R) injury caused by testicular torsion/detorsion. Male adult Wistar rats (n = 32) were assigned into four groups of sham, I/R, I/R + minocycline and minocycline. I/R injury was induced by two sets of surgical operations, including the rotation of the left testis (720°, counterclockwise), followed by detorsion after 4 hr. The administration of minocycline was carried out 30 min before detorsion and then continued for 8 weeks. At the end of the 8th week, rats were killed and sampling was done. Johnson's score, the height of seminiferous tubule epithelium, the mean seminiferous tubule diameter, as well as biochemical parameters, SOD, GPx and CAT, were significantly enhanced in the I/R + minocycline group compared with the I/R group. The administration of minocycline led to a marked decrease in expression levels of Caspase-3, Bax, IL-1β and TNF-α genes, and a remarkable increase in expression levels of Bcl-2, 3β-HSD and 17β-HSD3 genes compared with the I/R group. Administration of minocycline could also reduce the rate of germ cell apoptosis (TUNEL staining). Hence, minocycline was useful in the management of testicular torsion/detorsion.

Abstract
The current study examined the impact of the supplementation of ginger and echinacea extract, as natural antioxidant agents, in freezing extender on the quality and fertility potential of ram epididymal spermatozoa after cryopreservation. Epididymal spermatozoa isolated from Forty testicles, obtained from 20 rams, with motility >80% and total morphological abnormalities <10% were pooled, divided into 7 aliquots and used for cryopreservation. The semen samples were re-suspended with basic Tris egg yolk diluent containing ginger and echinacea extracts (5, 10 and 20 mg/l). The control diluent comprised of only extender and lacked any antioxidant agent. For the determination of sperm quality, frozen straws were thawed after 7-10 days, and then the sperm characteristics were assessed. The supplementation of ginger at a concentration of 10 mg/l, as well as the addition of 10 and 20 mg/l echinacea extract significantly improved total motility and velocity parameters. The status of acrosome integrity and lipid peroxidation significantly improved in spermatozoa when supplemented with 10 mg/l ginger and 20 mg/l echinacea extract. Also, 5 mg/l ginger extract and 20 mg/l echinacea extract significantly improved mitochondrial activity. The highest ratio of the dispersion of sperm chromatin was observed in spermatozoa treated with 10 mg/l ginger extract. The cleavage rate was markedly higher in matured oocytes that were fertilized with frozen spermatozoa treated with 20 mg/l ginger extract and 10 mg/l echinacea. The application of ginger and echinacea extract resulted in improvement in the quality and fertility of frozen-thawed spermatozoa. However, future studies are wanted to elucidate how the active components in these extracts prevent cryo-damages in spermatozoa.

Abstract
Sericin-S (a hydrolysate from the silk protein sericin) is a natural antioxidant, which may improve spermatogenesis while having high biological safety, thus potentially useful for the treatment of male infertility. Our objective was to determine the effects of sericin-S on the sperm parameters and sexual hormone levels in a diabetic rat model. Thirty-six adult male rats were randomly divided in two groups, inducing diabetes in one of them by intraperitoneal administration of streptozotocin (STZ; 65 mg/kg). Both groups were randomly assigned to three subgroups, receiving oral gavage of saline, 1% or 2% sericin extract for 60 days. Therefore, the experimental design was a 2 × 3 factorial design of STZ and sericin treatments. One day after the last treatment, the rats were euthanized, weighed, the testes were processed (weigh, volume, and histology), and serum samples were processed for measuring sex hormone levels [testosterone, follicle-stimulating hormone, and luteinizing hormone (LH)]. STZ treatment decreased LH concentration and counts of spermatogonia, spermatocytes, and spermatids. Body and testis weights were significantly (p < 0.05) lower in the control group (non-diabetic saline) compared to the treated groups. In non-diabetic rats, sericin treatments increased (p < 0.05) the number of testicular cells (spermatogonia, spermatocytes, spermatids, Sertoli, and Leydig cells) and sex hormone concentrations. In diabetic rats, administration of sericin significantly (p < 0.05) improved sperm cell number and sex hormones levels. In nutshell, sericin can clearly modify sperm parameters and overall sex hormone function, and could improve spermatogenesis in normal and diabetic rats.

Abstract
Liquid storage of spermatozoa is important for artificial insemination and herd genetic breeding. However, the extended time of storage inducing the rapid decline in spermatozoa quality limits the development of this technology. The molecular mechanisms underlying liquid storage of spermatozoa remain largely unexplored. In this study, the effects of liquid storage on functional quality of spermatozoa were assessed in goat (Capra hircus). The time-dependent decline in spermatozoa motility showed a strong correlation with the significant increase in apoptosis. Moreover, apoptosis-related ultrastructural changes were observed, especially the defects in mitochondria. A significant decrease in mitochondrial membrane potential and changes in the expression of mitochondrial apoptosis-related proteins indicated mitochondrial dysfunction and mitochondrial apoptotic pathway activation. Notably, the abnormally high level of reactive oxygen species (ROS) caused by liquid storage resulted in oxidative damage to mitochondria and accelerated mitochondria-dependent apoptosis, as demonstrated by the addition of ROS scavenger N-acetylcysteine. Furthermore, critical differentially expressed proteins involved in mitochondria-dependent apoptosis and antioxidant defense were identified and profiled by quantitative proteomic analysis, facilitating the understanding of molecular regulation of ROS-induced mitochondria-dependent apoptosis. These outcomes provide insights into the mechanisms underlying liquid storage of goat spermatozoa and enhance the progress of semen storage technology.
