Abstract
The growing interest in organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) has largely been attributed to significant performance enhancements achieved with molybdenum trioxide (MoO3). This study aims to achieve the integration of flexible transparent electrodes (FTEs) and hole-injection layers (HILs) through the use of a codoped system comprised of silver nanowires (Ag NWs) and silver nanoparticles (Ag NPs), as well as poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene): poly(styrenesulfonate) (PEDOT: PSS) and molybdenum oxide quantum dots (QDs). The primary objective of this proposed technique is to use a MoO3 QD as part of a flexible electrode, reducing the step of HIL deposition in the traditional device preparation process, thereby simplifying the fabrication of flexible devices. MoO3 was reduced to MoOX, which offered an alternative pathway for hole injection to increase carrier mobility, thereby further enhancing flexible device performance. The luminance of the prepared flexible OLEDs remained at 90% of their original level, even after undergoing 500 bending tests. These findings indicate the fabricated FTEs, integrated into this system with HILs, exhibited excellent optoelectronic performance and high mechanical stability. Moreover, the structure of the flexible device with higher performance was optimized by reducing the HIL deposition process compared to traditional devices.

Abstract
A novel generation of 7-aryl phenothiazinyl substituted polyacetylenes is readily accessible via controlled rhodium-catalyzed polymerization of the corresponding 3-ethynyl 7-aryl phenothiazines. The monomers are synthesized by Suzuki coupling, Heck coupling, or Buchwald-Hartwig amination, and Bestmann-Ohira reaction. This allows for the introduction of electron donating and releasing substituents with different ligation patterns. The obtained polymers display narrow molecular weight distributions, with very few exceptions, and are soluble in many organic solvents. The photophysical properties of novel monosubstituted polyacetylenes and corresponding monomers were compared. While the monomers exhibit strong emission in solution with quantum yields of up to 0.84 only selected polymers are luminescent (Φf = 0.06) and display moderate Stokes shifts and positive emission solvatochromism.

Abstract
A new generation of soluble phenothiazinyl merocyanine substituted polyacetylenes can be readily synthesized by rhodium-catalyzed polymerization of the corresponding 3-ethynyl phenothiazines, accessible by Sonogashira coupling and Knoevenagel condensation. UV/Vis and fluorescence spectroscopy of 7-acceptor-substituted phenothiazinyl polyacetylenes reveal that these polyacetylenes with conjugatively ligated merocyanines are luminescent in solution with positive emission solvatochromism and, in some cases, with distinct solid-state luminescence.

Abstract
Flexible organic light-emitting diodes (FOLEDs) have promising potential for future wearable applications because of their exceptional mechanical flexibility. Silver nanowire (Ag NW) networks are the most promising candidates to replace indium tin oxide (ITO), which is limited by its poor bendability. In this study, three different methods including methanol impregnation, argon plasma treatment, and ultraviolet radiation were used to reduce the junction resistance of Ag NWs to optimize the flexible transparent electrodes (FTEs); which were prepared using Ag NWs and poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene): poly(styrenesulfonate) (PEDOT: PSS). Then, the optoelectronic properties of the FTEs were further improved by using a co-doped system of silver nanowires and silver nanoparticles (Ag NPs), the structure of which consisted of PET/Ag NWs: Ag NPs/PEDOT: PSS/DMSO. The largest FOM value of 1.42 × 10-2 ohm-1 and a low sheet resistance value of 13.86 ohm/sq were obtained using the optimized FTEs. The prepared FOLED based on the optimized FTEs had a luminous efficiency of 6.04 cd/A and a maximum EQE of 1.92%, and exhibited no observed decline in efficiency when reaching maximum luminance. After 500 bending tests, the luminance still reached 82% of the original value. It is demonstrated that the FTEs prepared via the co-doped system have excellent optoelectronic properties as well as high mechanical stability.

Abstract
An experimental study and kinetic model analysis of the initiated chemical vapor deposition (iCVD) of polymer thin films have been performed at saturated monomer vapor conditions. Previous iCVD kinetic studies have focused on subsaturated monomer conditions where polymer deposition kinetics is known to be limited by monomer adsorption. However, iCVD kinetics at saturated conditions have so far not been systematically investigated, and it remains unclear whether the adsorption-limited phenomenon would still apply at saturation, given the abundance of monomer for reaction. To probe this question, a series of depositions of poly(vinylpyrrolidone) (PVP) thin films as a model system were performed by iCVD at substrate temperatures from 10 to 25 °C at both fully saturated (100%) and subsaturated (50%) conditions. While the deposition rates at subsaturated conditions exhibit the expected adsorption-limited behavior, the deposition rates at saturated conditions unexpectedly show two distinct deposition regimes with reaction time: an initial adsorption-limited regime followed by a kinetically limited steady-state regime. In the steady-state regime, the deposition kinetics is found to be thermally activated by raising substrate temperature with an overall activation energy of +86 kJ/mol, which agrees reasonably well with the experimentally determined value of +89 kJ/mol in the literature for bulk PVP polymerization and a mechanistically derived value of +91 kJ/mol based on the bulk free radical polymerization mechanism of PVP. These findings open new operating windows for iCVD polymerization and thin-film growth in which fast polymer deposition can be achieved without substrate cooling that can greatly simplify the iCVD scale-up to roll-to-roll processing and enable iCVD polymerization of highly volatile monomers relevant for diverse applications in biomedicine, smart wearables, and renewable energy.

Abstract
The humidity influence on the electronic and ionic resistance properties of thin post-treated poly(3,4-ethylene dioxythiophene):poly(styrenesulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS) films is investigated. In particular, the resistance of these PEDOT:PSS films post-treated with three different concentrations (0, 0.05, and 0.35 M) of ethyl-3-methylimidazolium dicyanamide (EMIM DCA) is measured while being exposed to a defined humidity protocol. A resistance increase upon elevated humidity is observed for the 0 M reference sample, while the EMIM DCA post-treated samples demonstrate a reverse behavior. Simultaneously performed in situ grazing-incidence small-angle X-ray scattering (GISAXS) measurements evidence changes in the film morphology upon varying the humidity, namely, an increase in the PEDOT domain distances. This leads to a detriment in the interdomain hole transport, which causes a rise in the resistance, as observed for the 0 M reference sample. Finally, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) measurements at different humidities reveal additional contributions of ionic charge carriers in the EMIM DCA post-treated PEDOT:PSS films. Therefrom, a model is proposed, which describes the hole and cation transport in different post-treated PEDOT:PSS films dependent on the ambient humidity.

Abstract
Isotactic nonconjugated pendant electroactive polymers (NCPEPs) have recently shown potential to achieve comparable charge carrier mobilities with conjugated polymers. Here we report the broader influence of tacticity in NCPEPs, using poly((N-carbazolylethylthio)propyl methacrylate) (PCzETPMA) as a model polymer. We utilized the thiol-ene reaction as an efficient postpolymerization functionalization method to achieve pendant polymers with high isotacticity and syndiotacticity. We found that a stereoregular isotactic polymer showed ∼100 times increased hole mobility (μh) as compared to both atactic and low molecular weight syndiotactic PCzETPMA, achieving μh of 2.19 × 10-4 cm2 V-1 s-1 after annealing at 120 °C. High molecular weight syndiotactic PCzETPMA gave ∼10 times higher μh than its atactic counterpart, comparable to isotactic PCzETPMA after annealing at 150 °C. Importantly, high molecular weight syndiotactic PCzETPMA showed a dramatic increase in μh to 1.82 × 10-3 cm2 V-1 s-1 when measured after annealing at 210 °C, which surpassed the well-known conjugated polymer poly(3-hexylthiophene) (P3HT) (μh = 4.51 × 10-4 cm2 V-1 s-1). MD simulations indicated short-range π-π stacked ordering in the case of stereoregular isotactic and syndiotactic polymers. This work is the first report of charge carrier mobilities in syndiotactic NCPEPs and demonstrates that the tacticity, annealing conditions, and molecular weight of NCPEPs can strongly affect μh.
