Abstract
Phytic acid is abundant in various plant-based foods and is considered agricultural waste. Here, we demonstrate the effectiveness of this organophosphorus acid as a sustainable catalyst for the direct amination reactions of allylic alcohols. This approach is successfully performed in air using technical grade solvents, affording allylanilines in moderate to excellent yields. Challenging electron-rich anilines react effectively, and their corresponding Friedel-Crafts side products can be minimised under the optimised reaction conditions. A variety of asymmetrically substituted allylic alcohols are tolerated, while the scope is extended to amide, and C-, O- and S-nucleophiles.

Abstract
Clavicipitic acid, a communesin alkaloid precursor, has attracted significant attention due to its unique azepino[5,4,3-cd]indole framework. Herein, we report a novel biomimetic synthesis of clavicipitic acid diastereomers by utilizing a DDQ-mediated cross-dehydrogenative coupling (CDC) reaction. The synthesis involves Suzuki coupling for the prenylation of a 4-bromotryptophan derivative, followed by an intramolecular CDC reaction to construct the azepinoindole core. The trans isomer was obtained as the major product, and the two diastereomers were separable. The CDC reaction conditions, including temperature, solvent, and protecting groups, were investigated, and a plausible mechanism for the observed diastereoselectivity was proposed.

Abstract
The oxidative intermolecular nitrogenation of C(sp3)-H bonds represents one of the most straightforward strategies to construct nitrogen-containing molecules. However, a sacrificial chemical oxidant is generally required. Herein, we describe electrochemical oxidative intermolecular allylic C(sp3)-H aminations in an undivided cell by electric current. The cross-dehydrogenative amination proceeded efficiently with ample scope under metal- and chemical oxidant-free reaction conditions, giving molecular H2 as the only byproduct.

Abstract
A novel and metal-free acrylamides formation between arylpropynes and hydroxylamine hydrochloride through sp(3) C-H and C-C bond cleavage has been achieved with DDQ as an oxidant. The mechanistic study shows that the acrylamides are formed through a three-step tandem sequence, including cross-dehydrogenative-coupling (CDC) reaction, aza-Meyer-Schuster rearrangement and Beckmann rearrangement.

Abstract
A series of chiral N-phosphonyl protected α-alkenyl homoallylic primary amines were synthesized by asymmetric addition of allylmagnesium bromide Grignard reagent towards chiral α,β-unsaturated imines. Only 1,2-adduct was obtained for all the imines with good yields and excellent diastereoselectivities. The chiral auxiliary could be easily removed under simple conditions, giving free multiple functionalized primary amines.
