Abstract
BACKGROUND Great attention has been attached to the quality of nursing along with the development of medical treatment, which gives rise to the higher demand for colleges to cultivate high-quality nursing students, as well as the higher standard for teaching performance of the nursing faculty. OBJECTIVE This study aimed to investigate the effect of teachers' job burnout on teaching ability among nursing teachers in Chinese colleges and to examine the mediating role of social support in this relationship based on the Person-context interaction theory. DESIGN A cross-sectional descriptive design has been adopted. METHODS From February to June 2021, a total of 416 Chinese nursing teachers from 27 colleges filled out the questionnaires with a response rate of 97.42%. The questionnaire included general demographic questionnaire, teaching ability in nursing scale, teacher burnout scale and social support scale. The data were analyzed by SPSS26.0 statistical software in terms of Pearson's correlation the Structural Equation Model (SEM) was adopted to test the mediating effect of social support between job burnout and teaching ability in nursing of nursing teachers using Mplus 8.3. RESULTS Job burnout of nursing teachers was negatively and significantly correlated with the teaching ability in nursing and social support (p < 0.01). And Structural Equation Model results showed that social support mediated the relationship between teacher burnout and teaching ability in nursing. CONCLUSIONS Social support could help nursing teachers manage their job burnout, and eventually help them overcome the negative impact of teachers' job burnout on teaching ability in nursing. Social support could promote the teaching ability of nursing teachers by playing an intermediary role between them.[Box: see text].

Abstract
IMPORTANCE Supporting community residency of adults with Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a critical public health initiative. Occupational therapy can contribute to this goal. OBJECTIVE To assess the feasibility of a novel telehealth intervention to support occupational engagement in community-residing people with AD. DESIGN Single-blind, three-arm, parallel, randomized controlled trial. SETTING Occupational therapy delivered through telehealth in participants' homes. PARTICIPANTS People with AD who reside in the community with behavioral symptoms and their care partners (dyads). INTERVENTIONS (1) HARMONY (Helping older Adults cReate & Manage OccupatioNs successfully), a telehealth intervention that applies principles of individualized guided discovery with environmental cueing for caregivers of persons with AD to promote activity participation and manage behavioral symptoms; (2) standardized training regarding the use of a sensory-based approach in dementia care; and (3) a control, including home safety education and weekly monitoring of behaviors. OUTCOMES AND MEASURES Feasibility was assessed as the primary outcome measured by completion of at least 75% of the telehealth sessions. Secondary outcomes included change in functional activity performance and neuropsychiatric behavioral symptoms. RESULTS Twenty-eight dyads participated. The intervention was feasible, with high adherence to weekly visits (M number of visits = 5.4 for HARMONY, 4.9 for standardized training, and 4.6 for control), with high participant retention in the intervention arms. HARMONY demonstrated promise in improving patient performance and behavioral symptoms. CONCLUSIONS AND RELEVANCE HARMONY is feasibly delivered through telehealth service and has a positive effect on occupational performance and behavioral symptoms of AD. Additional studies are needed to explore effectiveness in a broader population. What This Article Adds: Use of HARMONY for community-residing adults with AD is feasible and has promise for improving functional activity performance and behavioral symptoms, as well as caregiver satisfaction.

Abstract
The students' classroom well-being of college students has been widely concerned in online education researches. In order to implement effectively online education in colleges and universities, based on person-context interaction theory, this study investigates a theoretical model of the impact of teacher-student interaction, sound richness, sound pleasure, perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness on students' classroom well-being. By surveying 349 college students receiving online education, the research hypotheses are tested by the structural equation model approach. Research results show that: teacher-student interaction, sound richness, sound pleasure, perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness appreciably improve students' classroom well-being, the sound richness and the students' perceived ease of use can moderate the effect of teacher-student interaction on students' classroom well-being. Finally some pedagogical implications are discussed.

Abstract
Alzheimer's is a principal concern globally. Machine learning is a valuable tool to determine protective and diagnostic approaches for the elderly. We analyzed microarray datasets of Alzheimer's cases based on artificial intelligence by R statistical software. This study provided a screened pool of ncRNAs and coding RNAs related to Alzheimer's development. We designed hub genes as cut points in networks and predicted potential microRNAs and LncRNA to regulate protein networks in aging and Alzheimer's through in silico algorithms. Notably, we collected effective traditional herbal medicines. A list of bioactive compounds prepared including capsaicin, piperine, crocetin, safranal, saffron oil, coumarin, thujone, rosmarinic acid, sabinene, thymoquinone, ascorbic acid, vitamin E, cyanidin, rhaponticin, isovitexin, coumarin, nobiletin, evodiamine, gingerol, curcumin, quercetin, fisetin, and allicin as an effective fusion that potentially modulates hub proteins and molecular signaling pathways based on pharmacophore model screening and chemoinformatics survey. We identified profiles of 21 mRNAs, 272 microRNAs, and eight LncRNA in Alzheimer's based on prediction algorithms. We suggested a fusion of senolytic herbal ligands as an alternative therapy and preventive formulation in dementia. Also, we provided ncRNAs expression status as novel monitoring strategies in Alzheimer's and new cut-point proteins as novel therapeutic approaches. Synchronizing fusion drugs and lifestyle could reverse Alzheimer's hallmarks to amelioration via an offset of the signaling pathways, leading to increased life quality in the elderly.

Abstract
OBJECTIVES To investigate public perspectives on brain health. DESIGN Cross-sectional multilanguage online survey. SETTING Lifebrain posted the survey on its website and social media and shared it with stakeholders. The survey was open from 4 June 2019 to 31 August 2020. PARTICIPANTS n=27 590 aged ≥18 years from 81 countries in five continents completed the survey. The respondents were predominantly women (71%), middle aged (41-60 years; 37%) or above (>60 years; 46%), highly educated (69%) and resided in Europe (98%). MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES Respondents' views were assessed regarding factors that may influence brain health, life periods considered important to look after the brain and diseases and disorders associated with the brain. We run exploratory linear models at a 99% level of significance to assess correlates of the outcome variables, adjusting for likely confounders in a targeted fashion. RESULTS Of all significant effects, the respondents recognised the impact of lifestyle factors on brain health but had relatively less awareness of the role socioeconomic factors might play. Most respondents rated all life periods as important for the brain (95%-96%), although the prenatal period was ranked significantly lower (84%). Equally, women and highly educated respondents more often rated factors and life periods to be important for brain health. Ninety-nine per cent of respondents associated Alzheimer's disease and dementia with the brain. The respondents made a connection between mental health and the brain, and mental disorders such as schizophrenia and depression were significantly more often considered to be associated with the brain than neurological disorders such as stroke and Parkinson's disease. Few respondents (<32%) associated cancer, hypertension, diabetes and arthritis with the brain. CONCLUSIONS Differences in perceptions of brain health were noted among specific segments of the population. Policies providing information about brain-friendly health behaviours and targeting people less likely to have relevant experience may be needed.

Abstract
Studies have proved that activity and fitness behaviors are closely related to the quality of life and health status of the elderly. However, different intensities of physical activity (PA)—walking, moderate PA, and vigorous PA—have different correlations with the built environment (BE). This study combines the high and low socioeconomic status (SES) of Guangzhou to establish two types of BE models. The physical activity time of 600 elderly people was collected from questionnaires. Through ArcGIS software, 300 m, 500 m, 800 m, and 1000 m buffer zones were identified, and the land use diversity, street design, population density, distance to destination, distance to public transportation—the five Ds of the BE—were measured. SPSS software was adopted to analyze the correlation between the BE and PA. Results: The PA of people living in low-SES areas was more dependent on the BE, whereas the correlation may be limited in high SES areas. Moreover, in low SES areas, walking was negatively correlated with street connectivity; moderate PA was positively correlated with street connectivity and the shortest distance to the subway station, but negatively correlated with the density of entertainment points of interest (POIs). Studying the relevant factors of the environment can propose better strategies to improve the initiative of the elderly to engage in PA.

Abstract
Advanced old age has been characterized as a biologically highly vulnerable life phase. Biological, morbidity-, and cognitive impairment-related factors play an important role as mortality predictors among very old adults. However, it is largely unknown whether previous findings confirming the role of different wellbeing domains for mortality translate to survival among the oldest-old individuals. Moreover, the distinction established in the wellbeing literature between hedonic and eudaimonic wellbeing as well as the consideration of within-person variability of potentially relevant mortality predictors has not sufficiently been addressed in prior mortality research. In this study, we examined a broad set of hedonic and eudaimonic wellbeing indicators, including their levels, their changes, as well as their within-person variability, as predictors of all-cause mortality in a sample of very old individuals. We used data from the LateLine study, a 7-year longitudinal study based on a sample of n = 124 individuals who were living alone and who were aged 87–97 years (M = 90.6, SD = 2.9) at baseline. Study participants provided up to 16 measurement occasions (mean number of measurement occasions per individual = 5.50, SD = 4.79) between 2009 and 2016. Dates of death were available for 118 individuals (95.2%) who had deceased between 2009 and 2021. We ran longitudinal multilevel structural equation models and specified between-person level differences, within-person long-term linear change trends, as well as the “detrended” within-person variability in three indicators of hedonic (i.e., life satisfaction and positive and negative affect) and four indicators of eudaimonic wellbeing (i.e., purpose in life, autonomy, environmental mastery, and self-acceptance) as all-cause mortality predictors. Controlling for age, gender, education, and physical condition and testing our sets of hedonic and eudaimonic indictors separately in terms of their mortality impact, solely one eudaimonic wellbeing indicator, namely, autonomy, showed significant effects on survival. Surprisingly, autonomy appeared “paradoxically” related with mortality, with high individual levels and intraindividual highly stable perceptions of autonomy being associated with a shorter residual lifetime. Thus, it seems plausible that accepting dependency and changing perceptions of autonomy over time in accordance with objectively remaining capabilities might become adaptive for survival in very old age.

Abstract
Building on the seminal definition of "healthy aging" by the World Health Organization (WHO, 2015; 2020), we present a model of motivation and healthy aging that is aimed at identifying the central psychological constructs and processes for understanding what older persons value, and how they can attain and maintain these valued aspects of their lives. This model places goals at its center, and then proceeds from motivational processes of goal setting, pursuit, and disengagement, to contextual factors (cultural, social, technological, physical, organizational, and life-history related aspects) that provide opportunities and constraints to the healthy aging of individuals. We briefly introduce each of these constructs and processes, thereby setting the scene for the articles included in this supplement that each address one or more of the facets of the heuristic model of motivation and healthy aging.
