Abstract
Background Cerebral palsy (CP) is characterized by abnormal pronunciation, posture, and movement. Clinically, CP can be categorized into various motor syndromes, including spastic hemiplegia, diplegia, quadriplegia, involuntary movement, ataxia, and mixed types. Among these, spastic CP represents over 70-80% of all CP cases. The primary objective of our study is to identify the top and core Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) symptoms and analysis their association rules in children with spastic cerebral palsy, thereby enhancing the theoretical foundations of TCM treatment on spastic CP. Methods The study will be conducted on children aged 4 to 14 years with spastic CP who are undergoing treatment at Xi'an Encephalopathy Hospital Affiliated to Shaanxi University of Chinese Medicine. Basic information about the patients and their TCM symptoms will be collected on the first day of admission. This information will include age, gender, birth history, family history, disease classification, and TCM symptoms (including symptoms, tongue, and pulse). Once the data is collected, it will be exported from the electronic medical record system for further analysis. Descriptive statistics will be performed using Excel 2019, while exploratory factor analysis and cluster analysis will be conducted using SPSS Statistics 22. Additionally, association rule analysis will be carried out using SPSS Modeler 18. Results This study will investigate the most top TCM symptoms in children with spastic CP and explore the association rules between these symptoms, mapping the presentation of spastic CP onto symptoms identified within TCM. Conclusion Our findings will provide the distinctive characteristics of TCM symptoms in children with spastic CP, furnishing evidence-based support to clinicians and patients in making well-informed decisions collaboratively.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To investigate the effect of standardized quality control management on the rehabilitation of children with palsy in Ningbo City. METHODS In this retrospective study, a total of 400 pediatric patients requiring rehabilitation therapy admitted to Ningbo Rehabilitation Hospital from July 2017 to May 2021, were selected as the research subjects. Pediatric patients were divided into an observation group (standardized model) and a control group (routine model) based on the different quality management models. The rehabilitation efficacy, nursing quality, negative emotion, satisfaction, DQ scores, ADL scores, PDI scores, MDI scores, compliance rate, complaint rate of nursing, and incidence of adverse events were compared between the two groups. RESULTS The rehabilitation efficacy in the observation group was better than that in the control group (P<0.05). Compared to the control group, the nursing quality score and satisfaction rate were higher, and the negative emotion score was lower in the observation group (all P<0.05). DQ scores, ADL scores, PDI scores, and MDI scores in the observation group were higher than the control group (all P<0.05). The statistical differences were observed in the compliance rate, complaint rate in nursing, and incidence of adverse events between the two groups (all P<0.05). CONCLUSIONS The standardized quality control management enhanced the rehabilitation efficacy, promoted the nursing quality, improved the clinical effects, increased the satisfaction rate, and decreased the negative emotions in pediatric patients.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Cerebral palsy is a life-long condition that causes heterogeneous motor disorders. Motor rehabilitation interventions must be adapted to the topography of the symptoms, ambulatory capacity and age of the individual. Current guidelines do not differentiate between the different profiles of individuals with cerebral palsy, which limits their implementation. OBJECTIVES To develop evidence-based, implementable guidelines for motor rehabilitation interventions for individuals with cerebral palsy according to the age, topography of the cerebral palsy and ambulatory capacity of the individual, and to determine a level of priority for each intervention. METHODS We used a mixed methods design that combined a systematic review of the literature on available motor rehabilitation interventions with expert opinions. Based on the French National Authority for Health methodology, recommendations were graded as strong, conditional or weak. Interventions were then prioritized by the experts according to both the evidence and their own opinions on relevance and implementability to provide a guide for clinicians. All recommendations were approved by experts who were independent from the working group. RESULTS Strong recommendations as first-line treatments were made for gait training, physical activities and hand-arm bimanual intensive therapy for all children and adolescents with cerebral palsy. Moderate recommendations were made against passive joint mobilizations, muscle stretching, prolonged stretching with the limb fixed, and neurodevelopmental therapies for all children and adolescents with cerebral palsy. Strong recommendations as first-line treatments were made for gait training for all adults with cerebral palsy and moderate recommendations as moderate importance interventions for strengthening exercises and ankle-foot orthoses for motor impairment of the feet and the ankles. DISCUSSION These guidelines, which combine research evidence and expert opinion, could help individuals with cerebral palsy and their families to co-determine rehabilitation goals with health professionals, according to their preferences.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To evaluate the effect of combination therapy of meridian acupuncture and massage on motor development in children with spastic cerebral palsy (SCP). METHODS A total of 113 children with SCP in our hospital were allocated into research group (63 cases, treated with meridian acupuncture plus massage) and control group (50 cases, treated with routine rehabilitation measures). Clinical efficacy and alterations of inflammatory factors were observed. Peabody Developmental Motor Scale (PDMS) and gross motor function measure (GMFM-88; sitting, standing, walking) were employed for the assessment of motor ability. Changes in muscle tension were monitored with the Ashworth scale (AS), and modified Barthel index (MBI) and Gesell's Developmental Schedule (GDS) were used to evaluate children's daily activities, language, fine motor skills, and adaptability. Finally, the development of children in the two groups was monitored. RESULTS The research group had higher total effective rate than the control group (P=0.018). After treatment, the levels of interleukin 6 (IL-6) and tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) in the research group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05); the PDMS and AS scores were reduced in both groups, and the reduction was greater in research group (P<0.05); GFMF-88, Barthel and GDS scores increased in both groups, especially in the research group; children in research group were better developed than those in control group (P<0.05). CONCLUSION Meridian acupuncture plus massage contributes to a significant improvement of motor development in children with SCP.
