Abstract
Fast computational ghost imaging with high quality and ultra-high-definition resolution reconstructed images has important application potential in target tracking, biological imaging and other fields. However, as far as we know, the resolution (pixels) of the reconstructed image is related to the number of measurements. And the limited resolution of reconstructed images at low measurement times hinders the application of computational ghost imaging. Therefore, in this work, a new computational ghost imaging method based on saliency variable sampling detection is proposed to achieve high-quality imaging at low measurement times. This method physically variable samples the salient features and realizes compressed detection of computational ghost imaging based on the salient periodic features of the bucket detection signal. Numerical simulation and experimental results show that the reconstructed image quality of our method is similar to the compressed sensing method at low measurement times. Even at 500 (sampling rate 0.76 % ) measurement times, the reconstructed image of the method still has the target features. Moreover, the 2160 × 4096 (4K) pixels ultra-high-definition resolution reconstructed images can be obtained at only a sampling rate of 0.11 % . This method has great potential value in real-time detection and tracking, biological imaging and other fields.

Abstract
High costs and low performance have constrained the application of bio-based materials in food packaging. Herein, a series of ultra-thin poly(L-lactic acid-iconic acid N-diol) (P(LA-NI)) copolymer films were developed using a "one-step" polycondensation process with integrated toughness, barrier properties, gas selectivity, and quality control features. The massive branched structure and gg conformers in P(LA-NI) act as "internal chain expansion" and "internal plasticization". Meanwhile, P(LA-NI) contains numerous polar groups and unique nanoscale microphase structures to realize excellent CO2, O2 barrier, CO2/O2 selectivity, anti-fogging, and UV shielding functions. The atmosphere within the package spontaneously achieves the desirable low O2 and high CO2 levels when packaging button mushrooms with high respiratory metabolism. Eventually, the shelf life of button mushrooms reached 24 days, >3-fold extended. This PLLA-based film meets "dual carbon" and "food safety" goals and has vast potential for fresh food preservation.

Abstract
Mechanical stress stands as a fundamental factor in the intricate processes governing the growth, development, morphological shaping, and maintenance of skeletal mass. The profound influence of stress in shaping the skeletal framework prompts the assertion that stress essentially births the skeleton. Despite this acknowledgment, the mechanisms by which the skeleton perceives and responds to mechanical stress remain enigmatic. In this comprehensive review, our scrutiny focuses on the structural composition and characteristics of sclerotin, leading us to posit that it serves as the primary structure within the skeleton responsible for bearing and perceiving mechanical stress. Furthermore, we propose that osteocytes within the sclerotin emerge as the principal mechanical-sensitive cells, finely attuned to perceive mechanical stress. And a detailed analysis was conducted on the possible transmission pathways of mechanical stress from the extracellular matrix to the nucleus.

Abstract
Aspirin supplemented with quercetin was reported to enhance the therapeutic effects of aspirin in a rat model of preeclampsia. In this study, the underlying mechanisms were further explored. Preeclampsia was induced by L-NAME (50 mg/kg/day) via oral gavage from gestation day (GD)14 to GD19. Aspirin (1.5 mg/kg/day) administration was performed using aspirin mixed with rodent dough from GD0 to GD19. The administration of quercetin (2 mg/kg/day) was performed by intraperitoneal infusion from GD0 to GD19. Protein levels were evaluated using ELISA or Western blot, and microRNA (miRNA) level was evaluated by RT-PCR. Aspirin supplemented with quercetin ameliorated the increase of systolic blood pressure (SBP), proteinuria, tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-alpha) and interleukin-6 (IL-6) levels, and improved the pregnancy outcomes in preeclampsia rats. Aspirin supplemented with quercetin inhibited miR-155 expression in preeclampsia rats. The decreased miR-155 level in placenta further increased the protein level of SOCS1 and inhibited the phosphorylation of p65. In this study, we demonstrated that aspirin supplemented with quercetin enhanced the effects of aspirin for the treatment of preeclampsia.

Abstract
Forest encephalitis is a natural focal disease transmitted through the bite of hard ticks, and its pathogen is the tick-borne encephalitis virus from the Flaviviridae family. The mortality rate of forest encephalitis is relatively high, making laboratory testing significant in diagnosing this disease. This article elaborates on the etiological diagnostic methods and recent research progress in forest encephalitis. Laboratory tests for forest encephalitis mainly include routine examinations, serological tests, virus isolation, and molecular biological testing. The detection of serum-specific IgM antibodies against the forest encephalitis virus is of great importance for early diagnosis, and specific IgG antibodies serve as a "gold standard" for differentiation from other diseases. Techniques such as enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) or indirect immunofluorescence assay for detecting specific IgM antibodies in serum and/or cerebrospinal fluid, the serum hemagglutination inhibition test or serum complement fixation test, and the double serum hemagglutination inhibition test or complement fixation test all contribute to the early diagnosis. The development of molecular testing methods is rapid, and techniques such as metabolomics, digital PCR, and matrix metalloproteinases are also applied in the early diagnosis of forest encephalitis.

Abstract
Osteosarcomas are malignant bone tumors that typically originate in the epiphyses of the long bones of the extremities in adolescents. Asiatic acid has been reported to possess anti‑inflammatory, neuroprotective, antidiabetic, antitumor and antimicrobial activities. The present study used a combination of network pharmacological prediction and in vitro experimental validation to explore the potential pharmacological mechanism of asiatic acid against osteosarcoma. A total of 78 potential asiatic acid targets in osteosarcoma were identified using databases. Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes analysis indicated that the PI3K/AKT and MAPK signaling pathways are essential in the treatment of osteosarcoma with asiatic acid. Molecular docking revealed binding of asiatic acid to EGFR, Caspase‑3, ESR1, HSP90AA1, IL‑6 and SRC proteins. asiatic acid inhibited proliferation through G2/M cell cycle arrest in osteosarcoma cells. In addition, asiatic acid induced mitochondria‑dependent apoptosis as demonstrated by increases in Bax and VDAC1 expression, and a decrease in Bcl‑2 protein expression. The increased autophagosomes, increased LC3‑II/I ratios and decreased p62 expression in the treatment group indicated that asiatic acid triggered autophagy. In addition, asiatic acid decreased the levels of phosphorylated (p‑)PI3K/PI3K and p‑AKT/AKT, increased reactive oxygen species (ROS) and upregulated the levels of p‑ERK1/2/ERK1/2, p‑p38/p38 and p‑JNK/JNK in osteosarcoma cells. These results demonstrated that asiatic acid inhibited osteosarcoma cells proliferation by inhibiting PI3K/AKT and activating ROS/MAPK signaling pathways, suggesting asiatic acid is a potential agent against osteosarcoma.

Abstract
Obstructive sleep apnea is a highly prevalent sleep-related breathing disorder, resulting in a disturbed breathing pattern, changes in blood gases, abnormal autonomic regulation, metabolic fluctuation, poor neurocognitive performance, and increased cardiovascular risk. With broad inter-individual differences recognised in risk factors, clinical symptoms, gene expression, physiological characteristics, and health outcomes, various obstructive sleep apnea subtypes have been identified. Therapeutic efficacy and its impact on outcomes, particularly for cardiovascular consequences, may also vary depending on these features in obstructive sleep apnea. A number of interventions such as positive airway pressure therapies, oral appliance, surgical treatment, and pharmaceutical options are available in clinical practice. Selecting an effective obstructive sleep apnea treatment and therapy is a challenging medical decision due to obstructive sleep apnea heterogeneity and numerous treatment modalities. Thus, an objective marker for clinical evaluation is warranted to estimate the treatment response in patients with obstructive sleep apnea. Currently, while the Apnea-Hypopnea Index is used for severity assessment of obstructive sleep apnea and still considered a major guide to diagnosis and managements of obstructive sleep apnea, the Apnea-Hypopnea Index is not a robust marker of symptoms, function, or outcome improvement. Abnormal cardiac autonomic modulation can provide additional insight to better understand obstructive sleep apnea phenotyping. Heart rate variability is a reliable neurocardiac tool to assess altered autonomic function and can also provide cardiovascular information in obstructive sleep apnea. Beyond the Apnea-Hypopnea Index, this review aims to discuss the role of heart rate variability as an indicator and predictor of therapeutic efficacy to different modalities in order to optimise tailored treatment for obstructive sleep apnea.

Abstract
OBJECTIVES To explore changes in cerebral blood flow (CBF) and white matter in hemodialysis patients. METHODS Thirty-three hemodialysis patients who underwent two brain MRI at an interval of three years and 33 age- and sex-matched healthy controls (HC) underwent structural and arterial spin-labeling MRI examinations. Intergroup differences in CBF in the gray matter, white matter, and whole matter, and regional white matter hyperintensities (WMH) were analyzed. Based on the changes in CBF between the baseline and follow-up groups, the hemodialysis patients were divided into two subgroups: an increased CBF group and a decreased CBF group. Differences in CBF and WMH between the subgroups and HC were analyzed. RESULTS Patients undergoing hemodialysis exhibited increased cerebral watershed (CW) WMH, deep WMH, and periventricular WMH (P < 0.01). The CBF of patients with decreased CBF was higher than that of HC at baseline (,P < 0.01) and lower than that of HC at follow-up (P < 0.01). Compared with the increased CBF group, obvious development of deep WMH was found in the decreased CBF group for the gray matter, white matter, and whole matter (P < 0.01). CONCLUSIONS WMH in hemodialysis patients were distributed in the deep white matter, periventricular white matter and CW, and progressed with the extension of hemodialysis duration. CBF in hemodialysis patients could manifest as both increased and decreased, and WMH in patients with decreased CBF developed severely with prolongation of hemodialysis duration. ADVANCES IN KNOWLEDGE These findings provide a basis for exploring neuropathological changes of hemodialysis patients.

Abstract
Objective The presence of urinary autoantibodies in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) has been confirmed by several studies; however, the significance of their presence in urine remains unclear. This study aims to further investigate the association between urine autoantibodies and disease activity as well as organ involvement in SLE. Methods This cross-sectional study included 89 SLE patients. Data collected included anti-nuclear antibody (ANA), anti-ENA antibodies, and anti-dsDNA antibody levels in both serum and urine, complement (C) 3, C4 levels in serum, SLE disease activity index-2000 (SLEDAI-2000), renal domains of SLEDAI (RSLEDAI) and non-renal SLEDAI (NRSLEDAI). Results The rate of positive urine ANA (uANA) was 33.3% (29/87) among the enrolled patients. Compared to the uANA negative group, the positive group exhibited significantly higher SLEDAI-2000 scores (7.85 ± 5.88 vs. 18.69 ± 6.93, p < 0.001), RSLEDAI scores [0 (0, 4.0) vs. 12.0 (8.0, 16.0), p < 0.001], and NRSLEDAI [4 (2.0, 8.0) vs. 6.0 (4.0, 9.5), p = 0.038]. Patients with positive urine anti-Sm antibody demonstrated significantly elevated SLEDAI-2000 scores compared to those who were negative (25.0 ± 8.80 vs. 10.09 ± 6.63, p < 0.001). Similarly, they also had higher RSLEDAI [16.0 (12.0, 16.0) vs. 4.0 (0, 8.0), p < 0.001] and NRSLEDAI [9.5 (6.0, 13.5) vs. 4.0 (3.0, 8.0), p = 0.012], as well as a greater prevalence of renal involvement compared to their negative counterparts (100% vs. 58.2, p = 0.022). There was a positive correlation between uANA titer and both SLEDAI-2000 (rs = 0.663, p < 0.001) and RSLEDAI (rs = 0.662, p < 0.001). The serum anti-dsDNA antibody level did not exhibit a significant correlation with RSLEDAI (rs = 0.143, p = 0.182). Conversely, the urine anti-dsDNA antibody level demonstrated a significant positive correlation with RSLEDAI (rs = 0.529, p < 0.001). Conclusion Urine ANA is associated with both global SLEDAI and RSLEDAI scores. Urine anti-Sm antibody is associated with an increased incidence of renal involvement in SLE. The urine anti-dsDNA antibody level, rather than the serum anti-dsDNA antibody level, exhibits a significant association with RSLEDAI in SLE.

Abstract
We systematically investigated the intrinsic mechanical flexural modes of tapered optical fibers (TOFs) with a high aspect ratio up to 3×10^{4}. Based on the near-field scattering of the hemispherical microfiber tip to the vibrating TOF evanescent field, we detected more than 320 ordered intrinsic mechanical modes through the TOF transmission spectra which was enhanced by 72 dB compared to without near-field scattering. The trend of the vibration amplitude with the mode order was similar to pendulum waves. Our results open a pathway to study the mechanical modes of photonic microstructures-nanostructures that are expected to be used in waveguide QED, cavity optomechanical, and optical sensing.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Multisystem information, including musculoskeletal information, can be captured from chest CT scans of patients with COVID-19 without further examination. AIMS This study aims to assess the relationship between chest CT-extracted baseline bone mineral density (BMD) and body composition parameters and the length of hospital stay in these patients. METHODS A retrospective analysis was performed in a cohort of 88 patients with COVID-19. Correlation analysis and a generalized linear model (GLM) were used to assess the associations between the length of hospital stay and covariates, including age, sex, body mass index (BMI), BMD and body composition variables. RESULTS The mean length of hospital stay was 27.4±8.7 days. The length of hospital stay was significantly positively associated with age (r=0.202, p=0.046) and the paraspinal muscle fat ratio (r=0.246, p=0.021). The GLM involving age, sex, BMD, paraspinal muscle fat ratio, subcutaneous adipose tissue (SAT) area, visceral adipose tissue (VAT) area, and liver fat fraction (LFF) showed that the length of hospital stay was positively correlated with VAT area (β coefficients, 95% CI: 9.304, 1.141-17.478, p=0.025). CONCLUSION The musculoskeletal features extracted from chest CT correlated with the prognosis of COVID-19 patients. Factors including old age, a higher paraspinal muscle fat ratio and a larger VAT area in patients with COVID-19 were associated with longer hospital stays.

Abstract
The pursuit of environmentally friendly and highly effective antifouling materials for marine applications is of paramount importance. In this study, we successfully synthesized novel rare earth-based complexes by coordinating cerium (Ce III), samarium (Sm III), and europium (Eu III) with pyrithione (1-hydroxy-2-pyridinethione; PT). Extensive characterizations were performed, including single-crystal X-ray analysis, which revealed the intriguing binuclear structure of these complexes. This structural motif comprises two rare-earth ions intricately double-bridged by two oxygen atoms from the PT ligand, resulting in a distinctive and intriguing geometry. Furthermore, the central rare earth ion is surrounded by three sulfur atoms and two additional oxygen atoms, forming a unique distorted bicapped trigonal prismatic configuration. Compared with conventional antifouling biocides such as sodium pyrithione (NaPT), copper pyrithione (CuPT), and zinc pyrithione (ZnPT), these newly synthesized rare-earth complexes exhibited a remarkable boost in their in vitro antibacterial efficacy against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. Additionally, these complexes demonstrated significant potential as antialgal agents, displaying impressive activity against marine planktonic organisms. These findings underscore the promising application prospects of these rare-earth complexes in the field of marine antifouling.

Abstract
Resolving the flammability of poly(L-lactic acid) (PLA) while ensuring its environmental friendliness and preserving key flame retardancy and mechanical properties represents a critical challenge. We have successfully developed a highly efficient and environmentally friendly flame retardant called Hexamethylenediamine tetramethylene phosphonic acid amine (HDME). The flame retardancy of PLA/HDME composites was significantly improved, as indicated by the LOI value of 29.1 % and UL-94 V-0 rating for PLA/3.5 HDME with only 3.5 % HDME addition. The results show a 23.4 % reduction in the total heat release (THR), a 40.0 % increase in the time to ignition (TTI), and a 21.2 % increase in the flame propagation index (FPI) compared to original PLA. Flame retardant mechanism of HDME involves the gas phase, condensed phase, and interrupted heat exchange effects. The HDME also preserved the original mechanical properties of PLA, with the elongation at break and tensile strength retention of PLA/3.5 HDME reaching 93.05 % and 89.65 %. This work provides a simple and efficient method for flame retardant modification of PLA, which can expand its application scope.

Association of aberrant structural-functional network coupling with cognitive decline in patients with non-dialysis-dependent stage 5 chronic kidney disease. Abstract
Background Cognitive decline exists in the chronic kidney disease (CKD) population and is particularly severe in patients with stage 5 CKD, but the mechanisms underlying this relationship are unclear. Structural-functional coupling, an integrated measure that combines functional and structural networks, offers the possibility of exploring changes in network relationships in patients with stage 5 CKD. This study aimed to investigate the brain network topology and structural-functional coupling characteristics in patients with non-dialysis-dependent stage 5 CKD (CKD 5ND) and the correlation between network changes and cognitive scores. Methods We prospectively performed diffusion tensor and resting-state functional magnetic resonance (rs-fMRI) imaging on 40 patients with CKD 5ND disease and 47 healthy controls (HCs). Graph theory analysis of functional and structural connectivity (SC) was performed. Small-world properties and network efficiency properties were calculated, including characteristic path length (Lp), clustering coefficient (Cp), normalized clustering coefficient (Gamma), normalized characteristic path length (Lambda), small-worldness (Sigma), global efficiency (Eglob), and local efficiency (Eloc). The SC-functional connectivity (FC) coupling characteristics and the association between Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) scores and graph-theoretical features were analyzed. Results For SC, the Sigma (P=0.009), Cp (P=0.01), Eglob (P<0.001), and Eloc (P=0.01) were significantly lower in patients with CKD 5ND than in HCs, while Lp (P<0.001) and Lambda (P<0.001) were significantly higher in the patients than in the HCs. For FC, the Sigma (P=0.008), Gamma (P=0.009), Eglob (P=0.04), and Eloc (P<0.0001) were lower in patients with CKD 5ND than in HCs; however, the Lp (P=0.02) was higher in the patients than in the HCs. SC-SC coupling (P<0.001) was greater in patients with CKD 5ND than in HCs. The structural (Cp, Eloc, Eglob) and functional network parameters (Sigma, Gamma, Eglob) of the patients with CKD 5ND were positively correlated with MoCA scores; however, the Lp of both structural and functional networks was negatively correlated with MoCA scores. Conclusions All patients with CKD 5ND included in the study exhibited changes in their structural and functional brain network topology closely related to mild cognitive impairment. SC-SC coupling was elevated in the patients compared with that in the controls. This may provide vital information for understanding and revealing the underlying mechanisms of cognitive impairment in patients with CKD 5ND.

Abstract
AIM To develop a deep-learning model to help general dental practitioners diagnose periodontitis accurately and at an early stage. MATERIALS AND METHODS First, the panoramic radiographs (PARs) from the Second Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University were input into the convolutional neural network (CNN) architecture to establish the PAR-CNN model for healthy controls and periodontitis patients. Then, the PARs from the Affiliated Hospital of Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were included in the second testing set to validate the effectiveness of the model with data from two centres. Heat maps were produced using a gradient-weighted class activation mapping method to visualise the regions of interest of the model. The accuracy and time required to read the PARs were compared between the model, periodontal experts, and general dental practitioners. Areas under the receiver operating characteristic curve (AUCs) were used to evaluate the performance of the model. RESULTS The AUC of the PAR-CNN model was 0.843, and the AUC of the second test set was 0.793. The heat map showed that the regions of interest predicted by the model were periodontitis bone lesions. The accuracy of the model, periodontal experts, and general dental practitioners was 0.800, 0.813, and 0.693, respectively. The time required to read each PAR by periodontal experts (6.042 ± 1.148 seconds) and general dental practitioners (13.105 ± 3.153 seconds), which was significantly longer than the time required by the model (0.027 ± 0.002 seconds). CONCLUSION The ability of the CNN model to diagnose periodontitis approached the level of periodontal experts. Deep-learning methods can assist general dental practitioners to diagnose periodontitis quickly and accurately.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Alzheimer disease or related dementias (ADRD) are severe neurological disorders that impair the thinking and memory skills of older adults. Most persons living with dementia receive care at home from their family members or other unpaid informal caregivers; this results in significant mental, physical, and financial challenges for these caregivers. To combat these challenges, many informal ADRD caregivers seek social support in online environments. Although research examining online caregiving discussions is growing, few investigations have distinguished caregivers according to their kin relationships with persons living with dementias. Various studies have suggested that caregivers in different relationships experience distinct caregiving challenges and support needs. OBJECTIVE This study aims to examine and compare the online behaviors of adult-child and spousal caregivers, the 2 largest groups of informal ADRD caregivers, in an open online community. METHODS We collected posts from ALZConnected, an online community managed by the Alzheimer's Association. To gain insights into online behaviors, we first applied structural topic modeling to identify topics and topic prevalence between adult-child and spousal caregivers. Next, we applied VADER (Valence Aware Dictionary for Sentiment Reasoning) and LIWC (Linguistic Inquiry and Word Count) to evaluate sentiment changes in the online posts over time for both types of caregivers. We further built machine learning models to distinguish the posts of each caregiver type and evaluated them in terms of precision, recall, F1-score, and area under the precision-recall curve. Finally, we applied the best prediction model to compare the temporal trend of relationship-predicting capacities in posts between the 2 types of caregivers. RESULTS Our analysis showed that the number of posts from both types of caregivers followed a long-tailed distribution, indicating that most caregivers in this online community were infrequent users. In comparison with adult-child caregivers, spousal caregivers tended to be more active in the community, publishing more posts and engaging in discussions on a wider range of caregiving topics. Spousal caregivers also exhibited slower growth in positive emotional communication over time. The best machine learning model for predicting adult-child, spousal, or other caregivers achieved an area under the precision-recall curve of 81.3%. The subsequent trend analysis showed that it became more difficult to predict adult-child caregiver posts than spousal caregiver posts over time. This suggests that adult-child and spousal caregivers might gradually shift their discussions from questions that are more directly related to their own experiences and needs to questions that are more general and applicable to other types of caregivers. CONCLUSIONS Our findings suggest that it is important for researchers and community organizers to consider the heterogeneity of caregiving experiences and subsequent online behaviors among different types of caregivers when tailoring online peer support to meet the specific needs of each caregiver group.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE This study aimed to reclassify posterolateral tibial plateau fractures caused by a flexion-valgus force and describe this fracture pattern to provide a relatively programmed surgical treatment based on morphological characteristics that may improve reduction and stabilization. METHODS We retrospectively reviewed the fracture pattern and injury mechanism of patients with posterolateral tibial plateau fractures who underwent surgery at the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University between January 2014 and April 2020. The cohort was divided into three types. Type I was a depression fracture of the posterolateral platform with an intact posterolateral cortex. Type II was a depression fracture of the posterolateral platform with a disrupted posterolateral cortex. Type III was a depression fracture of the posterolateral platform in combination with anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) rupture or tibial insertion avulsion fracture of the ACL. The lateral window of the modified Frosch approach with an L-type locking plate was used for patients with type I and type III fractures. For patients with type II fractures, both lateral and posterolateral windows of the modified Frosch approach were used for surgery, and a T-plate on the posterior side with an L-plate on the lateral side were used for fixation. The Rasmussen radiology scoring was used to evaluate the quality of surgical reduction and the Rasmussen functional scoring evaluation standard was used to evaluate knee joint function. RESULTS A total of 69 tibial plateau fractures (36 male, 33 female) involving the posterolateral platform were discovered and included in this study. All patients suffered flexion-valgus force at the moment of the accident. There were 32 cases of Type I fracture, 28 cases of Type II fracture, and 9 cases of Type III fracture. The patients were followed up for 12-30 (mean 20.8 ± 9.4) months. The postoperative Rasmussen radiological scores for the three types of fractures were 15-17 (mean 16.31 ± 0.78), 14-17 (mean 15.93 ± 0.94), and 14-17 (mean 16.22 ± 0.97), respectively. The postoperative Rasmussen functional scores for the three types of fractions were 27-30 (mean 27.97 ± 0.90), 27-29 (mean 27.36 ± 0.56), and 27-29 (mean 27.56 ± 0.73), respectively. CONCLUSION Flexion-valgus posterolateral tibial plateau fractures were divided into three types based on the integrity of the posterolateral wall and ACL injuries. We hope the classification can play a certain reference role in recognizing and treating flexion-valgus-type posterolateral tibial plateau fractures.

Abstract
Objective: To analyze the efficacy of different targets low-frequency repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) for the treatment of tremor Parkinson's disease(PD). Method: A total of 82 patients with primary PD who were admitted to the Department of Neurology, Xin Hua Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine from April 1, 2020 to March 31, 2021 were prospectively collected. According to the clinical characteristics of major movement disorders, 82 patients with tremor type (TD) were selected to enroll.The patients were randomly divided into 3 groups at a 1∶1∶1 ratio according to the randomized coding sequence of the trial: the primary motor cortex (M1) group with 26 cases, the cerebellum group with 26 cases and the dual-site (M1, cerebellum) group with 30 cases. All patients were treated with 1 Hz low-frequency stimulation of the corresponding target once a day for 5 days a week for 2 weeks, a total of 10 times; The dosage remained unchanged during the treatment for all groups. Before and after 2 weeks' treatment, the patients were assessed with the Unified PD Rating Scale (UPDRS) and PD Quality of Life Questionnaire-39 (PDQ-39) without medication. Cortical excitability, namely transcranial magnetic stimulation motor evoked potential (TMS-MEP), [including resting motor threshold (rMT) and active motor threshold (aMT) examinations], timed up and go (TUG) and electromyographic tremor were conducted. Result: There were 82 patients, 39 males and 43 females, with an average age of (67±8) years. Before the treatment, there was no statistically significant difference in the evaluation indicators among the three groups (all P>0.05). After the treatment, the differences of the UPDRS-Ⅲ score [(38.9±2.5) vs (29.2±3.6) ], UPDRS tremor score [(23.7±2.1) vs (14.6±3.1) ], TUG time [(44.8±3.1) s vs (33.7±4.1) s], tremor amplitude [(480±126) μV vs (276±94) μV], PDQ-39 score [(51±13) vs (45±13) ], rMT [(36±17)% vs (43±13)%], and aMT [(26±16)% vs (31±12)%] were statistically significant (all P<0.01) from those before the treatment. There was no statistical difference in the above factors between the M1 group and cerebellum group (all P>0.05). There was no statistically significant difference in tremor peak frequency among the three groups before and after the treatment (all P>0.05). Conclusions: Dual-site low-frequency rTMS can improve PD tremor, while M1 or cerebellar low-frequency rTMS does not significantly improve PD tremor. Its mechanism may be to improve PD tremor symptoms by regulating cortical excitability.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the effect of Proprotein Convertase Subtilisin/Kexin Type 9 (PCSK9) inhibitors on the incidence of early neurological deterioration during the treatment of branch atheromatous disease (BAD). Methods: A retrospective analysis of 297 BAD patients admitted to the Department of Neurology in Zhengzhou People's Hospital from January 2020 to April 2023 was made. According to whether to use PCSK9 inhibitor treatment, they were divided into PCSK9 inhibitor group (81 cases) and control group (216 cases). Propensity score matching (PSM) method was used to eliminate the general situation difference between PCSK9 inhibitor group and control group. Seventy-two cases were successfully matched in each group. The early neurological deterioration (END) and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) were compared. END was defined as the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) score increase≥2 points within 72 hours after stroke. Suspicious influencing factors leading to END were screened for multivariate logistic regression model analysis. Results: After PSM matching, among the 144 patients, 90 were male and 54 were female, aged (61.2±9.6) years. After matching, The hospital stay[M(Q1, Q3)] [9(7, 11)d vs 10(8, 13)d] in PCSK9 and NIHSS score at discharge [2(1, 3) vs 3(1, 4) points] were significantly different from those in the control group (all P<0.05). In addition, the incidence of END was reduced in the PCSK9 inhibitor group [12.5%(9/72) vs 31.9%(23/72),P<0.05]. Multivariate logistic regression analysis found that C-reactive protein (CRP)(OR=1.119,95%CI: 1.010-1.240, P<0.05) and PCSK9 inhibitor (OR=0.298, 95%CI: 0.117-0.755, P<0.05) were factors associated with the development of END. Conclusion: The use of PCSK9 inhibitors in the treatment of patients with BAD can reduce the incidence of END.

Abstract
This paper mainly analyzes the typical thermodynamic response (thermal history, thermal strain and residual stress) in a conventional continuous-wave (CW) laser during Directed Energy Deposition (DED). The influence of process parameters (laser power and scanning speed) on the temperature gradient in the heat-affected zone, thermal strain and residual stress are studied, and the corresponding relationship are established. The results show that a reduction in residual stress can be obtained by decreasing the temperature gradient. However, the method of reducing the temperature gradient by changing process parameters leads to low forming quality and low density. A pulse-wave laser (PW) is proposed to actively control the residual stress of the deposited sample. This laser mode can reduce not only the temperature gradient in the process of DED but also the in situ release of thermal stress, correspondingly greatly reducing the residual stress.

Abstract
Epiphytes offer an appealing framework to disentangle the contributions of chance, biotic and abiotic drivers of species distributions. In the context of the stress-gradient theory, we test the hypotheses that (i) deterministic (i.e., non-random) factors play an increasing role in communities from young to old trees, (ii) negative biotic interactions increase on older trees and towards the tree base, and (iii) positive interactions show the reverse pattern. Bryophyte species distributions and abiotic conditions were recorded on a 1.1 ha tropical rainforest canopy crane site. We analysed co-occurrence patterns in a niche modelling framework to disentangle the roles of chance, abiotic factors and putative biotic interactions among species pairs. 76% of species pairs resulted from chance. Abiotic factors explained 78% of non-randomly associated species pairs, and co-occurrences prevailed over non-coincidences in the remaining species pairs. Positive and negative interactions mostly involved species pairs from the same versus different communities (mosses versus liverworts) and life forms, respectively. There was an increase in randomly associated pairs from large to small trees. No increase in negative interactions from young to old trees or from the canopy to the base was observed. Our results suggest that epiphytic bryophyte community composition is primarily driven by environmental filtering, whose importance increases with niche complexity and diversity. Biotic interactions play a secondary role, with a very marginal contribution of competitive exclusion. Biotic interactions vary among communities (mosses versus liverworts) and life forms, facilitation prevailing among species from the same community and life form, and competition among species from different communities and life forms.

Abstract
Vascular malformations are due to abnormal development of blood and/or lymphatic vessels during embryonic life without endothelial cell proliferation. Most of the previous treatments were symptomatic methods as surgery and sclerotherapy because the pathogenic mechanism was not clearly understood. With advances in molecular biology, the pathogenesis of vascular malformations is thought to be related to inherited and/or somatic mutations that eventually activate the PI3K/ATK/mTOR, Ras/Raf/MEK/ERK pathways. Also, related studies have promoted the use of targeted inhibitors. This article provides a review of current causative genes and targeted drugs for pediatric vascular malformations, aiming to provide a basis for promoting accurate molecular diagnosis and precision targeted therapy for these diseases.

Abstract
SIGNIFICANCE STATEMENT Patients with end stage CKD often develop cognitive decline, but whether this is related to the underlying disease or to hemodialysis remains unclear. We performed three-dimensional pseudocontinuous arterial spin labeling and quantitative susceptibility mapping prospectively in 40 patients with stage 1-4 CKD, 47 nondialysis patients with stage 5 CKD, and 44 healthy controls. Our magnetic resonance imaging data demonstrate that changes in cerebral blood flow-susceptibility coupling might underlie this cognitive decline, perhaps in the hippocampus and thalamus. These results suggest that magnetic resonance imaging parameters are potential biomarkers of cognitive decline in patients with CKD. Moreover, our findings may lead to discovery of novel therapeutic targets to prevent cognitive decline in patients with CKD. BACKGROUND Cerebral blood flow (CBF) and susceptibility values reflect vascular and iron metabolism, providing mechanistic insights into conditions of health and disease. Nondialysis patients with CKD show a cognitive decline, but the pathophysiological mechanisms underlying this remain unclear. METHODS Three-dimensional pseudocontinuous arterial spin labeling and quantitative susceptibility mapping were prospectively performed in 40 patients with stage 1-4 CKD (CKD 1-4), 47 nondialysis patients with stage 5 CKD (CKD 5ND), and 44 healthy controls (HCs). Voxel-based global and regional analyses of CBF, susceptibility values, and vascular-susceptibility coupling were performed. Furthermore, the association between clinical performance and cerebral perfusion and iron deposition was analyzed. RESULTS For CBF, patients with CKD 5ND had higher normalized CBF in the hippocampus and thalamus than HCs. Patients with CKD 5ND had higher normalized CBF in the hippocampus and thalamus than those with CKD 1-4. The susceptibility values in the hippocampus and thalamus were lower in patients with CKD 5ND than in HCs. Patients with CKD 5ND had higher susceptibility value in the caudate nucleus than those with CKD 1-4. More importantly, patients with CKD 5ND had lower CBF-susceptibility coupling than HCs. In addition, CBF and susceptibility values were significantly associated with clinical performance. CONCLUSIONS Our findings demonstrate a new neuropathological mechanism in patients with CKD, which leads to regional changes in CBF-susceptibility coupling. These changes are related to cognitive decline, providing potential imaging markers for assessing clinical disability and cognitive decline in these patients.

Abstract
Improving imaging quality and reducing time consumption are the key problems that need to be solved in the practical application of ghost imaging. Hence, we demonstrate a double filter iterative ghost imaging method, which adopts the joint iteration of projected Landweber iterative regularization and double filtering based on block matching three dimensional filtering and guided filtering to achieve high-quality image reconstruction under low measurement and low iteration times. This method combines the advantages of ill-posed problem solution of projected Landweber iterative regularization with double filtering joint iterative de-noising and edge preservation. The numerical simulation results show that our method outperforms the comparison method by 4 to 6 dB in terms of peak signal-to-noise ratio for complex binary target 'rice' and grayscale target 'aircraft' after 1500 measurements. The comparison results of experiments and numerical simulations using similar aircraft targets show that this method is superior to the comparison method, especially in terms of richer and more accurate edge detection results. This method can simultaneously obtain high quality reconstructed image and edge feature information under low measurement and iteration times, which is of great value for the practical application fields of imaging and edge detection at the same time, such as intelligent driving, remote sensing and other fields.

Abstract
This paper proposes a novel hybrid car-following model: the physics-informed conditional generative adversarial network (PICGAN), designed to enhance multi-step car-following modeling in mixed traffic flow scenarios. This hybrid model leverages the strengths of both physics-based and deep-learning-based models. By taking advantage of the inherent structure of GAN, the PICGAN eliminates the need for an explicit weighting parameter typically used in the combination of traditional physics-based and data-driven models. The effectiveness of the proposed model is substantiated through case studies using the NGSIM I-80 dataset. These studies demonstrate the model's superior trajectory reproduction, suggesting its potential as a strong contender to replace conventional models in trajectory prediction tasks. Furthermore, the deployment of PICGAN significantly enhances the stability and efficiency in mixed traffic flow environments. Given its reliable and stable results, the PICGAN framework contributes substantially to the development of efficient longitudinal control strategies for connected autonomous vehicles (CAVs) in real-world mixed traffic conditions.

Abstract
Fleshy fruit shape is an important external quality trait influencing the usage of fruits and consumer preference. Thus, modification of fruit shape has become one of the major objectives for crop improvement. However, the underlying mechanisms of fruit shape regulation are poorly understood. In this review we summarize recent progress in the genetic basis of fleshy fruit shape regulation using tomato, cucumber, and peach as examples. Comparative analyses suggest that the OFP-TRM (OVATE Family Protein - TONNEAU1 Recruiting Motif) and IQD (IQ67 domain) pathways are probably conserved in regulating fruit shape by primarily modulating cell division patterns across fleshy fruit species. Interestingly, cucumber homologs of FRUITFULL (FUL1), CRABS CLAW (CRC) and 1-aminocyclopropane-1-carboxylate synthase 2 (ACS2) were found to regulate fruit elongation. We also outline the recent progress in fruit shape regulation mediated by OFP-TRM and IQD pathways in Arabidopsis and rice, and propose that the OFP-TRM pathway and IQD pathway coordinate regulate fruit shape through integration of phytohormones, including brassinosteroids, gibberellic acids, and auxin, and microtubule organization. In addition, functional redundancy and divergence of the members of each of the OFP, TRM, and IQD families are also shown. This review provides a general overview of current knowledge in fruit shape regulation and discusses the possible mechanisms that need to be addressed in future studies.

Abstract
A 62-year-old man with a history of heartburn and regurgitation was referred for the management of a black lesion in the middle esophagus. Our Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD) showed a 13 mm, black protruding lesion located 29cm from the incisor teeth. Endoscopic ultrasonography (EUS) showed a 11.7 mm×7.2 mm hyperechoic mass in the esophageal wall arising in layer 2 and 3. Biopsy of the lesion showed a black and elastic hard appearance. Pathological examination showed chronic inflammatory with coal dust underneath the mucosal epithelium.

Abstract
Schistosomiasis is an immunopathogenic disease characterized by egg granuloma and fibrosis. The hepatic fibrosis of schistosomiasis is caused by the coordinated action of local immune cells, liver-resident cells and related cytokines around the eggs of the liver. B-cell-activating factor (BAFF), expressed in many cells, is an essential factor for promoting the survival, differentiation, and maturation of cells. The overexpression of BAFF is closely related to many autoimmune diseases and fibrosis, but has not been reported to play a role in liver fibrosis caused by schistosomiasis. In the study, we found that, during Schistosoma japonicum (S. japonicum) infection in mice, the level of BAFF and its receptor BAFF-R progressively increased, then decreased with the extension of infection time, which was consistent with the progression of hepatic granuloma and fibrosis. Anti-BAFF treatment attenuated the histopathological damage in the liver of infected mice. The average areas of individual granulomas and liver fibrosis in anti-BAFF treatment mice were significantly lower than those in control mice, respectively. Anti-BAFF treatment increased the IL-10, decreased IL-4, IL-6, IL-17A, TGF-β, and downregulated the antibody level against S. japonicum antigens. These results suggested that BAFF acts a strong player in the immunopathology of schistosomiasis. Anti-BAFF treatment may influence Th2 and Th17 responses, and reduce the inflammatory reaction and fibrosis of schistosomiasis liver egg granuloma. It is suggested that BAFF might be a prospective target for the development of new methods to treat schistosomiasis liver fibrosis.

Abstract
Cell wall polysaccharides and physicochemical properties are the major quality characteristics of fruit, but they are significantly affected by the postharvest disease. In this study, the influence of Alternaria alternata-induced disease on the contents of cell wall polysaccharides and physicochemical properties in 'Korla' pear flesh during storage, as well as their relationships of the optical absorption (μa) and reduced scattering (μs') were explored. The infected pear had lower individual sugars, covalent-soluble pectin, cellulose and hemicellulose contents than the healthy ones. The successive decreases of μa and increases of μs' in pears were observed while the process of pathogen infection. Path-coefficient analysis indicated the ionic-soluble pectin was the main reason responsible for the change of μs' in infected pear at 675 nm and 980 nm. This study indicated the optical properties have the possibility to present the physicochemical characteristics and cell wall polysaccharides of pears during postharvest pathogen infection.

Abstract
In this work, a single integrating sphere system was applied to characterize the optical absorption (μa) and reduced scattering (μs') properties (550 - 1050 nm) in winter jujube flesh infected by Alternaria alternata during storage at 4 and 20 °C, respectively. Meanwhile, physical (L*, a*, weight loss) and biochemical characteristics (soluble solids content, titratable acids, chlorophyll, total phenolic, and ascorbic acid) of winter jujubes were measured. Among them, chlorophyll, weight loss and ascorbic acid were highly correlated with μa at 680 nm, 690 nm, while chlorophyll and a* had the best correlations with μs' at 700 - 920 nm. These optimal optical properties were proved efficiently contributed to the disease detection of winter jujubes after 12 days at 4 °C and 3 days at 20 °C during storage, with satisfactory discrimination accuracies (acc > 93.75 %). Consequently, optical properties in Vis-NIR region were available to detect the postharvest disease in winter jujubes.

Abstract
Detecting and appropriately diagnosing a Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection remains technologically difficult because the pathogen commonly hides in macrophages in a dormant state. Described here is novel near-infrared aggregation-induced-emission luminogen (AIEgen) labeling developed by the current authors' laboratory for point-of-care (POC) diagnosis of an M. tuberculosis infection. The selectivity of AIEgen labeling, the labeling of intracellular M. tuberculosis by AIEgen, and the labeling of M. tuberculosis in sputum samples by AIEgen, along with its accuracy, sensitivity, and specificity, were preliminarily evaluated. Results indicated that this near-infrared AIEgen labeling had satisfactory selectivity and it labeled intracellular M. tuberculosis and M. tuberculosis in sputum samples. It had a satisfactory accuracy (95.7%), sensitivity (95.5%), and specificity (100%) for diagnosis of an M. tuberculosis infection in sputum samples. The current results indicated that near-infrared AIEgen labeling might be a promising novel diagnostic tool for POC diagnosis of M. tuberculosis infection, though further rigorous verification of these findings is required.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Suvemcitug (BD0801), a novel humanized rabbit monoclonal antibody against vascular endothelial growth factor, has demonstrated promising antitumor activities in preclinical studies. PATIENTS AND METHODS The phase Ia/b trials investigated the safety and tolerability and antitumor activities of suvemcitug for pretreated advanced solid tumors and in combination with FOLFIRI (leucovorin and fluorouracil plus irinotecan) in second-line treatment of metastatic colorectal cancer using a 3 + 3 dose-escalation design. Patients received escalating doses of suvemcitug (phase Ia: 2, 4, 5, 6, and 7.5 mg/kg; phase Ib: 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 mg/kg plus FOLFIRI). The primary endpoint was safety and tolerability in both trials. RESULTS All patients in the phase Ia trial had at least one adverse event (AE). Dose-limiting toxicities included grade 3 hyperbilirubinemia (one patient), hypertension and proteinuria (one patient), and proteinuria (one patient). The maximum tolerated dose was 5 mg/kg. The most common grade 3 and above AEs were proteinuria (9/25, 36%) and hypertension (8/25, 32%). Forty-eight patients (85.7%) in phase Ib had grade 3 and above AEs, including neutropenia (25/56, 44.6%), reduced leucocyte count (12/56, 21.4%), proteinuria (10/56, 17.9%), and elevated blood pressure (9/56, 16.1%). Only 1 patient in the phase Ia trial showed partial response, [objective response rate 4.0%, 95% confidence interval (CI) 0.1% to 20.4%] whereas 18/53 patients in the phase Ib trial exhibited partial response (objective response rate 34.0%, 95% CI 21.5% to 48.3%). The median progression-free survival was 7.2 months (95% CI 5.1-8.7 months). CONCLUSIONS Suvemcitug has an acceptable toxicity profile and exhibits antitumor activities in pretreated patients with advanced solid tumors or metastatic colorectal cancer.

Abstract
This study aimed to investigate the topological characteristics of the resting-state functional network and the underlying pathological mechanism in nondialysis patients with stage 5 chronic kidney disease (CKD5 ND). Eighty-five subjects (21 patients with CKD5 ND, 32 patients with CKD on maintenance hemodialysis (HD), and 32 healthy controls (HCs)) underwent laboratory examinations, neuropsychological tests, and brain magnetic resonance imaging. The topological characteristics of networks were compared with a graph-theoretical approach, and correlations between neuropsychological scores and network properties were analyzed. All participants exhibited networks with small-world attributes, and global topological attributes were impaired in both groups of patients with CKD 5 (ND and HD) compared with HCs (p < 0.05); these impairments were more severe in the CKD5 ND group than in the HD group (p < 0.05). Compared with the HC group, the degree centrality of the CKD5 ND group decreased mainly in the basal ganglia and increased in the bilateral orbitofrontal gyrus, bilateral precuneus, and right cuneus. Correlation analysis showed that the degree of small-worldness, normalized clustering coefficients, and Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) scores were positively correlated and that characteristic path length was negatively correlated with these variables in patients with CKD5 ND. The nodal efficiency of the bilateral putamen (r = 0.53, p < 0.001 and r = 0.47, p < 0.001), left thalamus (r = 0.37, p < 0.001), and right caudate nucleus (r = 0.28, p = 0.01) was positively correlated with MoCA scores. In conclusion, all CKD5 ND patients exhibited changes in functional network topological properties and were closely associated with mild cognitive impairment. More interestingly, the topological property changes in CKD5 ND patients were dominated by basal ganglia areas, which may be more helpful to understand and possibly reveal the underlying pathological mechanisms of cognitive impairment in CKD5 ND.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Atherosclerosis is the most prevalent cardiovascular disease and remains the major contributor to death and mortality globally. Salvianolic acid A (SalA) is a water-soluble phenolic acid that benefits atherosclerosis. However, the mechanisms of SalA protecting against atherosclerosis remain unclear. PURPOSE We aimed to determine whether SalA prevents atherosclerosis by modulating 3-Hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl-coenzyme A reductase (HMGCR) degradation via the ubiquitin-proteasomal pathway. METHODS The animal and cellular models of atherosclerosis were established by subjecting apolipoprotein E (ApoE) knockout mice to a high-fat diet (HFD) and exposing human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs) to oxidized low-density lipoprotein (ox-LDL), respectively. RESULTS Our results showed that similar to atorvastatin, SalA suppressed atherosclerotic plaque formation, improved serum lipid accumulation, and reduced cholesterol levels in HFD-fed ApoE-/- mice. Moreover, SalA protected HUVECs from ox-LDL-caused cell viability reduction and lipid accumulation. The mechanism study revealed that SalA reduced the production of proinflammatory cytokines tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), interleukin (IL)-1β, and IL-6, and augmented the generation of the anti-inflammatory cytokine IL-10 in ApoE-/- mice and HUVECs, accompanied by increased HMGCR ubiquitination and degradation via translocation in renal carcinoma on chromosome 8 (Trc8), insulin-induced gene (Insig)1 and Insig2. Furthermore, the knockdown of Trc8 abolished the SalA-induced HMGCR degradation and anti-atherosclerosis activity. CONCLUSION SalA rescues atherosclerosis by inhibiting inflammation through the Trc8-regulated degradation of HMGCR. These findings underscore Trc8 as a potential target of atherosclerosis.

Abstract
Objective: To explore the characteristics and correlations of vaginal flora in women with cervical lesions. Methods: A total of 132 women, including 41 women diagnosed with normal cervical (NC), 39 patients with low-grade cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN 1), 37 patients with high-grade cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN 2/3) and 15 patients with cervical squamous cell carcinoma (SCC), who came from the gynecological clinic of Second Hospital of Shanxi Medical University during January 2018 to June 2018, were enrolled in this study according to the inclusive and exclusive criteria strictly. The vaginal flora was detected by 16S rDNA sequencing technology. Co-occurrence network analysis was used to investigate the Spearman correlations between different genera of bacteria. Results: The dominant bacteria in NC, CIN 1 and CIN 2/3 groups were Lactobacillus [constituent ratios 79.4% (1 869 598/2 354 098), 63.6% (1 536 466/2 415 100) and 58.3% (1 342 896/2 301 536), respectively], while Peptophilus [20.4% (246 072/1 205 154) ] was the dominant bacteria in SCC group. With the aggravation of cervical lesions, the diversity of vaginal flora gradually increased (Shannon index: F=6.39, P=0.001; Simpson index: F=3.95, P=0.012). During the cervical lesion progress, the ratio of Lactobacillus gradually decreased, the ratio of other anaerobes such as Peptophilus, Sneathia, Prevotella and etc. gradually increased, and the differential bacteria (LDA score >3.5) gradually evolved from Lactobacillus to other anaerobes. The top 10 relative abundance bacteria, spearman correlation coefficient>0.4 and P<0.05 were selected. Co-occurrence network analysis showed that Prevotella, Peptophilus, Porphyrinomonas, Anaerococcus, Sneathia, Atopobium, Gardnerella and Streptococcus were positively correlated in different stages of cervical lesions, while Lactobacillus was negatively correlated with the above anaerobes. It was found that the relationship between vaginal floras in CIN 1 group was the most complex and only Peptophilus was significantly negatively correlated with Lactobacillus in SCC group. Conclusions: The increased diversity and changed correlations between vaginal floras are closely related to cervical lesions. Peptophilus is of great significance in the diagnosis, prediction and early warning of cervical carcinogenesis.

Abstract
High-quality imaging under low sampling time is an important step in the practical application of computational ghost imaging (CGI). At present, the combination of CGI and deep learning has achieved ideal results. However, as far as we know, most researchers focus on one single pixel CGI based on deep learning, and the combination of array detection CGI and deep learning with higher imaging performance has not been mentioned. In this work, we propose a novel multi-task CGI detection method based on deep learning and array detector, which can directly extract target features from one-dimensional bucket detection signals at low sampling times, especially output high-quality reconstruction and image-free segmentation results at the same time. And this method can realize fast light field modulation of modulation devices such as digital micromirror device to improve the imaging efficiency by binarizing the trained floating-point spatial light field and fine-tuning the network. Meanwhile, the problem of partial information loss in the reconstructed image due to the detection unit gap in the array detector has also been solved. Simulation and experimental results show that our method can simultaneously obtain high-quality reconstructed and segmented images at sampling rate of 0.78 %. Even when the signal-to-noise ratio of the bucket signal is 15 dB, the details of the output image are still clear. This method helps to improve the applicability of CGI and can be applied to resource-constrained multi-task detection scenarios such as real-time detection, semantic segmentation, and object recognition.

Abstract
Phthalate exposure is associated with reproductive health, but the mechanism is unclear. This study used human chorionic trophoblast epithelial cells (HTR8/Svneo cells) and mouse embryos as objects aims to explore the effects of phthalate plasticizers on germ cells and fertility and the possible signalling pathways. In the present study, high concentrations of MEHP for 24 h significantly inhibited the proliferation and viability of HTR8/SVneo cells. Compared with the negative control (NC) group, the MEHP medium and high concentration groups promoted the apoptosis of HTR8/SVneo cells and inhibited the cell cycle, HTR8/SVneo cells were blocked in G1/G0 phase and could not enter S phase, and cell meiosis was inhibited. Western blot experiments showed that there was no difference in the protein expression of wnt inhibitory factor 1 (WIF1) and β-catenin in HTR8/SVneo cells between the MEHP exposure groups and the NC groups. In vitro embryo culture experiments found that there was no difference in blastocyst formation rate among groups after exposure to DEHP for 2 h. Immunofluorescence showed that the expression of WIF1 decreased in the low concentration group, and there was no difference in the medium and high concentration groups, while the expression of β-catenin was increased in both the low concentration group and the high concentration group. Our data suggest that exposure to phthalate plasticizers can affect the viability, cell cycle and apoptosis of trophoblast cells, resulting in abnormal expression of the embryonic WIF1/β-catenin signalling pathway and impaired fertility.

Abstract
Hemodialysis (HD) is the most regularly applied replacement therapy for end-stage renal disease, but it may result in brain injuries. The correlation between cerebral blood flow (CBF) alteration and iron deposition has not been investigated in patients undergoing HD. Ferritin level may be a dominant factor in CBF and iron deposition change. We hypothesize that ferritin level might be the key mediator between iron deposition and CBF alteration. The correlation in the putamen was estimated between the susceptibility values and CBF in patients undergoing HD. Compared with healthy controls, patients showed more altered global susceptibility values and CBF. The susceptibility value was negatively correlated with CBF in the putamen in patients. Moreover, the susceptibility value was negatively correlated with ferritin level and positively correlated with serum iron level in the putamen of patients. CBF was positively correlated with ferritin level and negatively correlated with serum iron level in the putamen of patients. These findings indicate that iron dyshomeostasis and vascular damage might exist in the putamen in patients. The results revealed that iron dyshomeostasis and vascular damage in the putamen may be potential neural mechanisms for neurodegenerative processes in patients undergoing HD.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the clinical features and long-term prognostic factors of diabetic patients with low or intermediate complexity coronary artery disease (CAD) post percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Methods: This was a prospective, single-centre observational study. Consecutive diabetic patients with SYNTAX score (SS)≤32 undergoing PCI between January and December 2013 in Fuwai hospital were included in this analysis. The patients were divided into two groups based on SS, namely SS≤22 group and SS 23-32 group. Multivariate Cox regression analysis was performed to identify independent factors related to poor 5-year prognosis. The primary outcomes were cardiac death and recurrent myocardial infarction, the secondary outcomes were all cause death and revascularization. Results: Of the 3 899 patients included in the study, 2 888 were men (74.1%); mean age was 59.4±9.8 years. There were 3 450 patients in the SS≤22 group and 449 patients in the SS 23-32 group. Compared with SS≤22 group, the incidence of revascularization was higher in SS 23-32 group (18.9% (85/449) vs. 15.2% (524/3450), log-rank P=0.019). There was no significant difference in all-cause death, cardiac death and recurrent myocardial infarction between the two groups (log-rank P>0.05). Multivariate Cox regression analysis showed that age (HR=1.05, 95%CI 1.02-1.08, P<0.001), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (HR=3.12, 95%CI 1.37-7.07, P=0.007) and creatinine clearance rate (CCr)<60 ml/min (HR=3.67, 95%CI 2.05-6.58, P<0.001) were independent risk factors for 5-year cardiac death, while left ventricular ejection fraction (HR=0.94, 95%CI 0.91-0.96, P<0.001) was a protective factor. Previous PCI (HR=2.04, 95%CI 1.38-3.00, P<0.001), blood glucose level≥11.1 mmol/L on admission (HR=2.49, 95%CI 1.32-4.70, P=0.005) and CCr<60 ml/min (HR=1.85, 95%CI 1.14-2.99, P=0.012) were independent risk factors for 5-year recurrent myocardial infarction. The SS of 23-32 was independently associated with risk of revascularization (HR=1.54, 95%CI 1.09-2.16, P=0.014), after adjusting for residual SS. Residual SS was not a risk factor for 5-year prognosis. Conclusions: In diabetic patients with low-or intermediate complexity CAD, SS 23-32 is associated with increased risk of 5-year revascularization; the clinical characteristics of the patients are associated with the long-term mortality and recurrent myocardial infarction, but not related to revascularization.

Abstract
As novel wound dressings, cryogels with rapid hemostatic property and good sterilization effect are urgently desirable for wound healing. To reduce the use of antibiotics, antibacterial photothermal therapy with broad-spectrum bactericidal capacity and non-obvious bacterial resistance has been widely researched. However, photothermal agents usually suffer from poor hemostatic ability. In this research, sodium alginate (SA) and epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) were non-covalently cross-linked in suit by ferric ions to obtain SA/EGCG/Fe (SEF) cryogels after lyophilization as an antibacterial wound dressing. Next, its photothermal performance was intensively assessed. Moreover, its hemostasis and bactericidal effect were evaluated. First, it displayed extraordinary photothermal ability owing to the formation of Fe3+/EGCG-based metal phenolic networks (MPNs) inside the SEF cryogel. Furthermore, in vitro and in vivo assays illustrated that it exhibits rapid hemostatic capacity owing to its high porosity and MPN-mediated cell adhesion capacity. In conclusion, the SEF cryogel manifests satisfactory hemostatic and bactericidal properties. Therefore, it is a promising wound-dressing candidate for clinical applications.

Abstract
AIMS To assess the difference in survival between fertility-sparing surgery (FSS) and radical surgery and explore pregnancy outcomes after FSS in stage I malignant sex cord-stromal tumours (MSCSTs). MATERIALS AND METHODS We carried out a multicentre retrospective cohort study on patients who were diagnosed with MSCSTs and the tumour was confined to one ovary. The patients were divided into FSS and radical surgery groups. Inverse probability of treatment weighting (IPTW) was used to balance variables between the two groups. Kaplan-Meier analysis was used to compare the difference in disease-free survival (DFS). Univariate and multivariate Cox regression analysis was used to find risk factors of DFS. Univariate logistic regression analysis was used to assess risk factors of pregnancy. RESULTS In total, 107 patients were included, of whom 54 (50.5%) women underwent FSS and 53 (49.5%) received radical surgery. After IPTW, a pseudo-population of 208 was determined and all of the covariates were well balanced. After a median follow-up time of 50 months (range 7-156 months), 10 patients experienced recurrence and two died. There was no significant difference in DFS between the two groups, both in unweighted (P = 0.969) or weighted cohorts (P = 0.792). In the weighted cohort, stage IC (P = 0.014), tumour diameter >8 cm (P = 0.003), incomplete staging surgery (P = 0.003) and no adjuvant chemotherapy (P < 0.001) were the four high-risk factors associated with a shorter DFS. Among 14 patients who had pregnancy desire, 11 (78.6%) women conceived successfully; the live birth rate was 76.9%. In univariate analysis, only adjuvant chemotherapy (P = 0.009) was associated with infertility. CONCLUSIONS On the premise of complete staging surgery, FSS is safe and feasible in early stage MSCSTs with satisfactory reproductive outcomes.

Abstract
While precarious employment is not a new concept, it has been brought to the center of scholarly and public discourse worldwide by the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic. This essay delineates how precarious employment shapes well-being and situates that relationship in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. The essay also provides an overview of how the nine articles boldly investigate how these two layers of global risk-precarious employment and the pandemic-interact to shape individuals' well-being. In addition to advancing theoretical and empirical knowledge by analyzing timely data from diverse sources and populations, these articles call for more efforts on worker protection reforms and government financial support.

Abstract
Polysaccharides are important bioactive components of Nitraria retusa fruit (NRF). In this study, the ultrasonic-assisted extraction (UAE) conditions of polysaccharides from Nitraria retusa fruit (NRFPs) were optimized by response surface methodology (RSM). The structural characteristics and antioxidant activity were investigated. The maximum NRFPs yield of 3.35% was obtained under the following optimal conditions: temperature of 59.5 °C, time of 30.5 min, liquid-to-solid ratio of 19.5 mL/g. Three polysaccharide fractions, NRFP-1 (20.01 kDa), NRFP-2 (28.96 kDa), and NRFP-3 (67.45 kDa), were isolated. Glucose, galactose, and arabinose in different percentages were identified as the primary monosaccharide units. The Fourier transform infrared spectrometer (FT-IR) and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) analysis indicated the presence of α- and β-glycosidic bonds in NRFPs. The NRFP-3 exhibited the highest scavenging activities against DPPH, ABTS, -OH free radicals, and Fe+3-reducing activity.

Abstract
In this work, the potential of a hyperspectral imaging (HSI) system for the detection of black spot disease on winter jujubes infected by Alternaria alternata during postharvest storage was investigated. The HSI images were acquired using two systems in the visible and near-infrared (Vis-NIR, 400-1000 nm) and short-wave infrared (SWIR, 1000-2000 nm) spectral regions. Meanwhile, the change of physical (peel color, weight loss) and chemical parameters (soluble solids content, chlorophyll) and the microstructure of winter jujubes during the pathogenic process were measured. The results showed the spectral reflectance of jujubes in both the Vis-NIR and SWIR wavelength ranges presented an overall downtrend during the infection. Partial least squares discriminant models (PLS-DA) based on the HSI spectra in Vis-NIR and SWIR regions of jujubes both gave satisfactory discrimination accuracy for the disease detection, with classification rates of over 92.31% and 91.03%, respectively. Principal component analysis (PCA) was carried out on the HSI images of jujubes to visualize their infected areas during the pathogenic process. The first principal component of the HSI spectra in the Vis-NIR region could highlight the diseased areas of the infected jujubes. Consequently, Vis-NIR HSI and NIR HSI techniques had the potential to detect the black spot disease on winter jujubes during the postharvest storage, and the Vis-NIR HSI spectral information could visualize the diseased areas of jujubes during the pathogenic process.

Abstract
Leaf stoichiometry can characterize plant ecological strategies and correlate with plant responses to climate change. The role of vascular epiphytes in the ecosystem processes of tropical and subtropical forest ecosystems cannot be ignored. Vascular epiphytes are very vulnerable to climate change, however, the relationship between the response of epiphytes to climate change and leaf stoichiometry is not well understood. We present data for 19 vascular epiphyte species that were collected during four consecutive censuses (in 2005, 2010, 2015, and 2020) over 15 years in a subtropical montane cloud forest. We assessed the relationships between the population dynamics and leaf stoichiometry of these vascular epiphytes. Experiencing an extreme drought, 14 of the 19 epiphyte species showed an obvious decrease in the number of individuals, and all species showed negative growth in the number of populations. Subsequently, the total number of individuals gradually recovered, increasing from 7,195 in 2010 to 10,121 in 2015, then to 13,667 in 2020. The increase in the number of vascular epiphyte individuals from 2010 to 2015 was significantly negatively correlated with leaf nitrogen and phosphorus concentration, and was significantly positively correlated with the leaf carbon-nitrogen ratio. Vascular epiphyte populations with higher leaf nutrient concentrations exhibited weaker resilience to the extreme drought, which demonstrated that a resource-conservative strategy was advantageous for the recovery of epiphyte populations. Our findings suggest that ecological stoichiometry can be a useful framework for forecasting the dynamics of vascular epiphyte populations in response to climate change.
