Abstract
Microplastics (MPs), a newly emerging class of environmental contaminants, pose a severe threat to the entire ecosystem. The development of efficient and environmentally responsible adsorbents for removing the MPs is a particularly urgent research. Herein, a kind of monolithic ZIF-8 based adsorbents featuring stable hydrophobicity and micropore-mesopore-macropore hierarchical porous structure were fabricated by in situ growth of ZIF-8 nanoparticles on sodium alginate (SA) framework, and using polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) as a hydrophobic agent. The monolithic nature of ZIF-8/SA allowed an easy solid-liquid separation process for adsorbents from water environment compared to powdered materials. The hierarchical porous structure ensures a remarkable MPs removal performance. The ZIF-8/SA showed high adsorption capacities of 594, 585, and 282 mg/g for polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA), poly (vinylidene difluoride) (PVDF), and polyvinyl chloride (PVC) respectively, and rapid adsorption kinetic progress within 120 min. The ZIF-8/SA adsorbents also exhibited excellent stability in the presence of interfering ions, acid/alkali, and humic acid, and displayed adsorption performance of > 70 % even in actual aquatic environment such as tap water, river water, and seawater. The results of characterizations showed that the synergistic effect of electrostatic interaction, hydrogen bonding, hydrophobic force, and van der Waals force was the main adsorption mechanism. The well-designed hydrophobic ZIF-8/SA monolithic materials would be promising to rapidly remove the MPs from the water environment.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Recent years have seen increasing attention to improving depressive symptoms through dietary intakes, yet the association between thiamine intake and depression remains unclear. The present study aimed to explore this association using data from an American cross-sectional study. METHODS We explored the association of covariates, exposure, and outcome with logistic regression equations. Multivariable regression models were performed to further exclude confounding factors. To investigate nonlinear relationships, we employed restricted cubic splines. Recursive algorithms were utilized to identify inflection points. Additionally, we conducted stratified analyses by age and sex to uncover differences among subgroups. RESULTS When all covariates were adjusted, the association between thiamine intake and depression was not statistically significant [0.93 (0.82, 1.07)]. In the linear trend test using Q1 as the reference, the ORs (95%CI) for Q2, Q3, and Q4 were 0.87 (0.73, 1.04), 0.83 (0.68, 1.00), and 0.92 (0.73, 1.16), which suggested that the association might be nonlinear. We then confirmed this nonlinear relationship with a restricted cubic spline, and the inflection point of 1.35 mg/day was calculated. Before the inflection point, the effect value of the relationship was 0.68 (0.53, 0.89). After the inflection point, no significant association was found [1.10 (0.92, 1.31)]. Stratified analyses revealed that this nonlinear relationship was consistent among women and individuals aged <60 years. DISCUSSION In this cross-sectional study among American general adults, we found a nonlinear association between thiamine intake and depression and further observed differences by age and sex.

Abstract
The process of biological fermentation is often accompanied by the release of CO2, resulting in low yield and environmental pollution. Refixing CO2 to the product synthesis pathway is an attractive approach to improve the product yield. Cadaverine is an important diamine used for the synthesis of bio-based polyurethane or polyamide. Here, aiming to increase its final production, a RuBisCO-based shunt consisting of the ribulose-1,5-bisphosphate carboxylase/oxygenase (RuBisCO) and phosphoribulate kinase (PRK) was expressed in cadaverine-producing E. coli. This shunt was calculated capable of increasing the maximum theoretical cadaverine yield based on flux model analysis. When a functional RuBisCO-based shunt was established and optimized in E. coli, the cadaverine production and yield of the final engineered strain reached the highest level, which were 84.1 g/L and 0.37 g/g Glucose, respectively. Thus, the design of in situ CO2 fixation provides a green and efficient industrial production process.

Abstract
Cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) is known to suffer from strong scatter and cone beam artifacts. The purpose of this study is to develop and characterize a rapidly scanning carbon nanotube (CNT) field emission x-ray source array to enable a multisource CBCT (ms-CBCT) image acquisition scheme which has been demonstrated to overcome these limitations. A CNT x-ray source array with eight evenly spaced focal spots was designed and fabricated for a medium field of view ms-CBCT for maxillofacial imaging. An external multisource collimator was used to confine the radiation from each focal spot to a narrow cone angle. For ms-CBCT imaging, the array was placed in the axial direction and rapidly scanned while rotating continuously around the object with a flat panel detector. The x-ray beam profile, temporal and spatial resolutions, energy and dose rate were characterized and evaluated for maxillofacial imaging. The CNT x-ray source array achieved a consistent focal spot size of 1.10 ± 0.04 mm × 0.84 ± 0.03 mm and individual beam cone angle of 2.4°±0.08 after collimation. The x-ray beams were rapidly switched with a rising and damping times of 0.21 ms and 0.19 ms, respectively. Under the designed operating condition of 110 kVp and 15 mA, a dose rate of 8245μGy s-1was obtained at the detector surface with the inherent Al filtration and 2312μGy s-1with an additional 0.3 mm Cu filter. There was negligible change of the x-ray dose rate over many operating cycles. A ms-CBCT scan of an adult head phantom was completed in 14.4 s total exposure time for the imaging dose in the range of that of a clinical CBCT scanner. A spatially distributed CNT x-ray source array was designed and fabricated. It has enabled a new multisource CBCT to overcome some of the main inherent limitations of the conventional CBCT.

Abstract
RATIONALE Respiratory virus-induced inflammation is the leading cause of asthma exacerbation, frequently accompanied by induction of IFN-stimulated genes (ISGs). How asthma genetic susceptible genes modulate cellular response upon viral infection through fine-tuning ISGs induction and subsequent airway inflammation in genetically susceptible asthmatics remains largely unknown. OBJECTIVES To decipher the functions of GSDMB in respiratory virus-induced lung inflammation. METHODS In two independent cohorts, we analyzed expression correlation between GSDMB and ISGs. In human bronchial epithelial cell line or primary cells, we generated GSDMB-overexpressing and -deficient cells. A series of qPCR, ELISA and co-immunoprecipitation assays were performed to determine the function and mechanism of GSDMB for ISGs induction. We also generated a novel transgenic mouse line with inducible expression of human unique GSDMB gene in airway epithelial cells and applied respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) infection to determine the role of GSDMB on RSV-induced lung inflammation in vivo. MEASUREMENTS AND MAIN RESULTS Gasdermin B encoded by GSDMB, one of the most significant asthma-susceptible genes at 17q21, acts as a novel RNA sensor, promoting MAVS-TBK1 signaling and subsequent inflammation. In airway epithelium, GSDMB is induced by respiratory viral infections. Expression of GSDMB and ISGs significantly correlated in respiratory epithelium from two independent asthma cohorts. Notably, inducible expression of human GSDMB gene in mouse airway epithelium leads to enhanced ISGs induction, increased airway inflammation with mucus hyper-secretion upon RSV infection. CONCLUSIONS GSDMB promotes ISGs expression and airway inflammation upon respiratory virus infection, thereby conferring asthma risk in risk allele carriers.

Abstract
Existing pharmacodynamic (PD) mathematical models for drug combinations discriminate antagonistic, additive, multiplicative, and synergistic effects, but fail to consider how concentration-dependent drug interaction effects may vary across an entire dose-response matrix. We developed a two-way pharmacodynamic (TWPD) model to capture the PD of two-drug combinations. TWPD captures interactions between upstream and downstream drugs that act on different stages of viral replication, by quantifying upstream drug efficacy and concentration-dependent effects on downstream drug pharmacodynamic parameters. We applied TWPD to previously published in vitro drug matrixes for repurposed potential anti-Ebola and anti-SARS-CoV-2 drug pairs. Depending on the drug pairing, the model recapitulated combined efficacies as or more accurately than existing models and can be used to infer efficacy at untested drug concentrations. TWPD fits the data slightly better in one direction for all drug pairs, meaning that we can tentatively infer the upstream drug. Based on its high accuracy, TWPD could be used in concert with PK models to estimate the therapeutic effects of drug pairs in vivo.

Abstract
Tight sandstone reservoirs have become important areas for unconventional reservoir development, and their pore network is a key feature for identifying tight sandstone, which affects fluid migration path and reservoir development efficiency. However, the connectivity characteristics of the pore network at different scales have remained unclear owing to the numerous pores and uneven pore shape. Here, using pore size distributions from many hundreds of tight sandstone samples and subsequent topological data analysis, we construct the topological structure of the pore network in the Yanchang Formation tight sandstone of the Ordos Basin in China and visualize the topological characteristics of the pore network with distances. We show that there are three connected groups within the pore structure of the tight sandstone. The topology of the pore network resides on a trident ring manifold, suggesting that the pore network in the tight sandstone encompasses three obvious dominant connection paths. One prominent bar on the H0 dimension in the barcode indicates a two-point connection from nanoscale to microscale in the pore network. Three prominent bars with varying durations on the H1 dimension indicate the presence of three separate multipoint connections within a limited extent in the pore network. Connectivity of combined pores is good and controlled by the topological structure of the pore network. This demonstration of pore connections on a trident ring manifold provides a population-level visualization of the pore network in the tight sandstone.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) and Kirsten rat sarcoma viral oncogene homolog (KRAS) are mutually exclusive, and they are two important genes that are most prone to mutation in patients with non-small cell lung cancer. PURPOSE This retrospective study investigated the ability of radiomics to predict the mutation status of EGFR and KRAS in patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and guide precision medicine. METHODS Computed tomography images of 1045 NSCLC patients from five different institutions were collected, and 1204 imaging features were extracted. In the training set (EGFR: 678, KRAS: 246), Max-Relevance and Min-Redundancy and least absolute shrinkage and selection operator logistic regression were used to screen radiomics features. The combination of selected radiomics features and clinical factors was used to establish the combined models in identifying EGFR and KRAS mutation status, respectively, through stepwise logistic regression. Then, on two independent external validation sets (EGFR: 203/164, KRAS: 123/95), the performance of each model was evaluated separately, and then the overall performance of predicting the two mutation states was calculated. RESULTS In the EGFR and KRAS groups, radiomics signatures comprised 14 and 10 radiomics features, respectively. They were mutually exclusive between the tumors with positive EGFR mutation and those with positive KRAS mutation in imaging phenotype. For the EGFR group, the area under the curve (AUC) of the combined model in the two validation sets was 0.871 (95% CI: 0.821-0.926) and 0.861 (95% CI: 0.802-0.911), respectively, whereas the AUC of the combined model in the two validation sets was 0.798 (95% CI: 0.739-0.850) and 0.778 (95% CI: 0.735-0.821), respectively, for the KRAS group. Considering both EGFR and KRAS, the overall precision, recall, and F1-score of the combined model in the two validation sets were 0.704, 0.844, and 0.768, as well as 0.754, 0.693, and 0.722, respectively. CONCLUSIONS Our study demonstrates the potential of radiomics in the non-invasive identification of EGFR and KRAS mutation status, which may guide patients with non-small cell lung cancer to choose the most appropriate personalized treatment. This method can be used when biopsy will bring unacceptable risk to patients with NSCLC.

Abstract
Selenium (Se) is a trace element essential for the maintenance of normal physiological functions in living organisms. Oxidative stress is a state in which there is an imbalance between oxidative and antioxidant effects in the body. A deficiency of Se can make the body more inclined to oxidation, which can induce related diseases. The aim of this experimental study was to investigate the mechanisms by which Se deficiency affects the digestive system through oxidation. The results showed that Se deficiency treatment led to a decrease in the levels of GPX4 and antioxidant enzymes and an increase in the levels of ROS, MDA, and lipid peroxide (LPO) in the gastric mucosa. Oxidative stress was activated. Triple stimulation of ROS, Fe2+, and LPO induced iron death. The TLR4/NF-κB signaling pathway was activated, inducing an inflammatory response. The expression of the BCL family and caspase family genes was increased, leading to apoptotic cell death. Meanwhile, the RIP3/MLKL signaling pathway was activated, leading to cell necrosis. Taken together, Se deficiency can induce iron death through oxidative stress. Meanwhile, the production of large amounts of ROS activated the TLR4/NF-κB signaling pathway, leading to apoptosis and necrosis of the gastric mucosa.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Kummell's disease (KD) and osteoporotic vertebral compression fracture (OVCF) are commonly found in patients with osteoporosis. Several studies have been conducted on bone cement distribution in OVCF or KD; a comparison between the 2 diseases is rarely reported. OBJECTIVES To compare the clinical efficacy and bone cement distribution difference between KD and OVCFs after percutaneous kyphoplasty (PKP). STUDY DESIGN This was a retrospective, nonrandomized controlled study. SETTING Department of Orthopedics from an affiliated hospital. METHODS From January 2018 to December 2020, 61 patients who underwent PKP surgery for single KD or OVCF and met the inclusion criteria were retrospectively reviewed. All patients were assigned to 2 groups: the KD group and the OVCF group. Clinical and radiologic characteristics, including the bone cement volume, leakage, bone cement dispersion scale, anterior vertebral height (AVH), median vertebral height (MVH), posterior vertebral height (PVH), Cobb angle and Visual Analog Scale (VAS) were analyzed and compared using Mimics three-dimensional (3D) reconstruction images and 3D reconstruction computed tomography, preoperatively, postoperatively, and 2 years after the operation, respectively. The correlations between the bone cement dispersion scale and the VH improvement rate (VHIR), VH change rate (VHCR), VAS improvement rate (VASIR), and follow-up VAS improvement rate (f-VASIR) were also evaluated. RESULTS The mean follow-up time was 24.0 months. Postoperative VH, Cobb angle, vertebra volume, and VAS score were significantly improved in the 2 groups (P < 0.05). There was no statistical difference in postoperative parameters between the 2 groups. While a strong positive correlation between VHIR and bone cement dispersion scale was observed in the OVCF group (P < 0.01), no significant correlation between VHIR and bone cement dispersion scale was found in the KD group. There was no correlation between VASIR and bone cement dispersion scale in both groups. Compared with postoperation, VH was lower in both groups in later follow-up, and the difference between the 2 groups was statistically significant (P < 0.05). VH, VAS, f-VASIR, and VHCR had a worse manifestation in the KD group than in the OVCF group. However, no significant correlation was found between VHCR, f-VASIR, and bone cement dispersion scale in the 2 groups. LIMITATIONS This study was limited by the non-randomized design, small sample size, and lack of a comprehensive follow-up period. CONCLUSIONS Although there was no significant difference in the bone cement distribution and early clinical efficacy between KD and OVCF patients under the same surgical plan and surgeon, OVCF patients exhibited better long-term radiologic and clinical outcomes.

Abstract
Reducing carbon emissions while maintaining simultaneous economic growth has been the focus of agricultural and environmental management research in recent times. To examine the influence of agricultural environmental regulations and related factors on agricultural carbon emissions efficiency, the entropy method was utilized to weigh each index and develop an index system for evaluating agricultural environmental regulations. This study utilizes the Super Slacked-Based Measure model that takes into account undesirable outputs. The research data used spans the years 2010-2019 and covers 31 provinces in China to calculate the efficiency of agricultural carbon emissions. A spatial Durbin model was employed to investigate the influence of environmental regulations and other influential factors on the efficiency of agricultural carbon emissions. The efficiency levels in the eastern region of China have consistently exceeded the national average, whereas the central region has demonstrated the lowest efficiency levels across the nation. Both the efficiency of agricultural carbon emissions and the intensity of agri-environmental regulations measured in this paper are strongly spatially autocorrelated between provinces. The environmental regulations index on local agricultural carbon emissions efficiency is significantly positive, while the effect on the agricultural carbon emissions efficiency in adjacent areas is not significant. Overall, agricultural environmental regulations effectively enhance agricultural carbon emissions efficiency, which in turn promotes technological innovation and economic growth. At the same time, local governments should actively adopt targeted strategies based on the actual situation of different regions in terms of their resource endowments and differences in the production characteristics of different crops.

Abstract
Multisource cone beam computed tomography CBCT (ms-CBCT) has been shown to overcome some of the inherent limitations of a conventional CBCT. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the accuracy of ms-CBCT for measuring the bone mineral density (BMD) of mandible and maxilla compared to the conventional CBCT. The values measured from a multi-detector CT (MDCT) were used as substitutes for the ground truth. An anthropomorphic adult skull and tissue equivalent head phantom and a homemade calibration phantom containing inserts with varying densities of calcium hydroxyapatite were imaged using the ms-CBCT, the ms-CBCT operating in the conventional single source CBCT mode, and two clinical CBCT scanners at similar imaging doses; and a clinical MDCT. The images of the anthropomorphic head phantom were reconstructed and registered, and the cortical and cancellous bones of the mandible and the maxilla were segmented. The measured CT Hounsfield Unit (HU) and Greyscale Value (GV) at multiple region-of-interests were converted to the BMD using scanner-specific calibration functions. The results from the various CBCT scanners were compared to that from the MDCT. Statistical analysis showed a significant improvement in the agreement between the ms-CBCT and MDCT compared to that between the CBCT and MDCT.

Abstract
This study aims to examine the process of L2 novel word learning through the combination of episodic and semantic memory, and how the process differs between the formation of thematic and taxonomic relations. The major approach adopted was observing the neural effects of word learning, which is manifested in the N400 from event-related potentials (ERPs). Eighty-eight participants were recruited for the experiment. In the learning session, L2 contextual discourses related to novel words were learned by participants. In the testing session, discourses embedded with incongruous and congruous novel words in the final position were used for participants to judge the congruency which affected the N400 neural activity. The results showed that both recurrent and new-theme discourses elicited significant N400 effects, while taxonomic sentences did not. These results confirmed the formation of episodic and semantic memory during L2 new word learning, in which semantic memory was mainly supported by thematic relations.

Abstract
5,6,11,12-tetraphenylnaphthacene (rubrene) exhibits resonant energy properties (ES1,rub≈ 2ET1,rub), resulting in rubrene-based organic light-emitting diode (OLED) devices that undergo the singlet fission (STT) process at room temperature. This unique process gives rise to a distinct magneto-electroluminescence (MEL) profile, differing significantly from the typical intersystem crossing (ISC) process. Therefore, in this paper, we investigate charge generation and separation in the interconnector, and the mechanism of charge transport in tandem OLEDs at room temperature using MEL tools. We fabricate tandem OLEDs comprising green (Alq3) and yellow (Alq3:rubrene) electroluminescence (EL) units using different interconnectors. The results demonstrate that all devices exhibited significant rubrene emission. However, the MEL did not exhibit an STT process with an increasing magnetic field, but rather a triplet-triplet annihilation (TTA) process. This occurrence is attributed to direct carrier trapping within doped EL units, which hinders the transport of rubrene trapped charges, consequently prolonging the lifetime of triplet excitons (T1,rub). Thus, the increased T1,rubconcentration causes TTA to occur at room temperature, causing the rapid decrease of MEL in all devices under high magnetic fields. In devices where only the TTA process occurs, the TTA increases with the increasing current. Consequently, the high magnetic field of devices A-C is only related to TTA. Notably, there exists a high magnetic field TTA of device D in the Alq3/1,4,5,8,9,11-Hexaazatriphenylene-hexacarbonitrile interconnector regardless of the current. This occurs because both EL units in the device emit simultaneously, resulting in the triplet-charge annihilation process of Alq3in the high magnetic field of the MEL. Moreover, the rapid increase in MEL at low magnetic field across all devices is attributed to the ISC between Alq3polaron pairs. This entire process involves Förster and Dexter energy transfer. This article not only provides novel insights into charge generation and separation in the interconnector but also enhances our understanding of the microscopic mechanisms in tandem OLED devices.

Abstract
Moderate control of rice tillering and the development of rice varieties with large panicles are important topics for future high-yield rice breeding. Herein, we found that low-tillering rice varieties stopped tillering earlier and had a larger leaf area of the sixth leaf. Notably, at 28 days after sowing, the rice seedlings of the low-tillering group had an average single-culm above-ground biomass of 0.84 g, significantly higher than that of the multi-tillering group by 56.26%, and their NSC (non-structural carbohydrate) and starch contents in sheaths were increased by 43.34% and 97.75%, respectively. These results indicated that the low-tillering group of rice varieties had a stronger ability to store photosynthetic products in the form of starch in their sheaths, which was thus more beneficial for their large panicle development. The results of carbon and nitrogen metabolism analyses showed that the low-tillering group had a relatively strong carbon metabolism activity, which was more favorable for the accumulation of photosynthesis products and the following development of large panicles, while the multi-tillering group showed relatively strong nitrogen metabolism activity, which was more beneficial for the development and formation of new organs, such as tillers. Accordingly, in the low-tillering rice varieties, the up-regulated genes were enriched in the pathways mainly related to the synthesis of carbohydrates, while the down-regulated genes were mainly enriched in the nitrogen metabolism pathways. This study provides new insights into the mechanism of rice tillering regulation and promotes the development of new varieties with ideal plant types.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Auxin transcription factor (ARF) is an important transcription factor that transmits auxin signals and is involved in plant growth and development as well as stress response. However, genome-wide identification and responses to abiotic and pathogen stresses of the ARF gene family in Cucurbita pepo L, especially pathogen stresses, have not been reported. RESULTS Finally, 33 ARF genes (CpARF01 to CpARF33) were identified in C.pepo from the Cucurbitaceae genome database using bioinformatics methods. The putative protein contains 438 to 1071 amino acids, the isoelectric point is 4.99 to 8.54, and the molecular weight is 47759.36 to 117813.27 Da, the instability index ranged from 40.74 to 68.94, and the liposoluble index ranged from 62.56 to 76.18. The 33 genes were mainly localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm, and distributed on 16 chromosomes unevenly. Phylogenetic analysis showed that 33 CpARF proteins were divided into 6 groups. According to the amino acid sequence of CpARF proteins, 10 motifs were identified, and 1,3,6,8,10 motifs were highly conserved in most of the CpARF proteins. At the same time, it was found that genes in the same subfamily have similar gene structures. Cis-elements and protein interaction networks predicted that CpARF may be involved in abiotic factors related to the stress response. QRT-PCR analysis showed that most of the CpARF genes were upregulated under NaCl, PEG, and pathogen treatment compared to the control. Subcellular localization showed that CpARF22 was localized in the nucleus. The transgenic Arabidopsis thaliana lines with the CpARF22 gene enhanced their tolerance to salt and drought stress. CONCLUSION In this study, we systematically analyzed the CpARF gene family and its expression patterns under drought, salt, and pathogen stress, which improved our understanding of the ARF protein of zucchini, and laid a solid foundation for functional analysis of the CpARF gene.

Abstract
Efficient and cost-effective photocatalysts are pivotal for advancing large-scale solar hydrogen generation. Herein, we report a composite photocatalyst by incorporating MoS2 quantum dots (MoS2 QDs) as a cocatalyst into Cs3Bi2I9, resulting in a high enhancement in photocatalytic performance. Remarkably, the optimum MoS2 QDs/Cs3Bi2I9 composite achieves an impressive hydrogen evolution rate (6.09 mmol h-1 g-1) in an ethanol and HI/H3PO2 mixed solution. This rate is 8.8 times higher than pristine Cs3Bi2I9 (0.69 mmol h-1 g-1) and notably surpasses Pt/Cs3Bi2I9 (2.47 mmol h-1 g-1). Moreover, the composite displays exceptional stability during an 18-hour reaction, showcasing its potential for sustainable photocatalytic hydrogen evolution.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Birth weight is a good predictor of fetal intrauterine growth and long-term health. Although several studies have evaluated the relationship between metabolites and birth weight, no prior study has comprehensively investigated the metabolomic and lipidomic and further validated and quantified meaningful metabolites. METHODS Firstly, a pseudotargeted metabolomics approach was applied to detect 2418 metabolites in 504 cord blood samples in the discovery set enrolled from the Wuhan Healthy Baby Cohort (HBC), China. Metabolome-wide association scan (MWAS) analysis and pathway enrichment were applied to discover metabolites and metabolic pathways that were significantly associated with birth weight for gestational age (BWGA) z-score. Logistic regression models were used to analyze the association of metabolites in the most significantly associated pathways with small for gestational age (SGA) and low birth weight (LBW). Subsequently, 350 cord blood samples in a validation cohort were subjected to targeted analysis to validate the metabolites screened from the discovery cohort. RESULTS In the discovery set, 513 metabolites were significantly associated with BWGA z-score (PFDR <0.05), of which 298 KEGG-annotated metabolites were included in the pathway analysis. The primary bile acid biosynthesis pathway was the most relevant metabolic pathway associated with BWGA z-score in our study. Elevated cord plasma primary bile acids were associated with lower BWGA z-score and higher odds of SGA or LBW in the discovery and validation cohorts. In the validation set, a 2-fold increase in taurochenodeoxycholic acid (TCDCA) and taurocholic acid (TCA) was associated with 0.10 (95% CI: 0.00, 0.20) and 0.18 (95 %CI: 0.04, 0.31) decrease in BWGA z-score, respectively, after adjusting for covariates. In addition, a 2-fold increase in cord plasma TCDCA and TCA was associated with an adjusted odds ratio of 1.52 (1.00, 2.30) and 1.77 (1.05, 2.98) for SGA, respectively. The adjusted ORs for a 2-fold increase in TCDCA and TCA concentrations were 2.39 (95% CI 1.00, 5.71) and 3.21 (0.96, 10.74) for LBW, respectively. CONCLUSIONS The results indicate a significant association between primary bile acids and lower BWGA z-score, as well as higher risk of SGA and LBW. Abstract
Skeletal muscle is a highly plastic organ that adapts to different metabolic states or functional demands. This study explored the impact of permanent glucose restriction (GR) on skeletal muscle composition and metabolism. Using Glut4m mice with defective glucose transporter 4, we conducted multi-omics analyses at different ages and after low-intensity treadmill training. The oxidative fibers were significantly increased in Glut4m muscles. Mechanistically, GR activated AMPK pathway, promoting mitochondrial function and beneficial myokine expression, and facilitated slow fiber formation via CaMK2 pathway. Phosphorylation-activated Perm1 may synergize AMPK and CaMK2 signaling. Besides, MAPK and CDK kinases were also implicated in skeletal muscle protein phosphorylation during GR response. This study provides a comprehensive signaling network demonstrating how GR influences muscle fiber types and metabolic patterns. These insights offer valuable data for understanding oxidative fiber formation mechanisms and identifying clinical targets for metabolic diseases.

Abstract
This paper provides a method to effectively suppress the severe ASE self-saturation when achieving high repetition frequency tunability with high output power and narrow pulse width in active Q-switched all-fiber lasers. By studying the regularity of the system's multi-stable state, we first ensured that the laser system operated in a steady state. Then output avoids uneven distribution of pulse energy or missing pulses due to period bifurcation state or chaos state. By adding multiple gain sub-rings within the cavity, the sub-ring structure itself indirectly mitigates the ASE self-saturation while smoothing the pulse. The method will avoid the severe power loss caused by traditional smoothing methods by adjusting the AOM rising edge time. It will also avoid lowering the ASE lasing threshold at high repetition frequency. Meanwhile, the intra-cavity backward ASE can be effectively absorbed by inserting the gain fiber in the sub-rings to directly mitigate the ASE self-saturation. The system's continuously adjustable repetition frequency can be as high as over 300 kHz. It ensures that output power above the watt level and a < 0.2 nm narrow bandwidth can be maintained while tuning the repetition frequency. The narrowest smoothing pulse width of 28 ns has been reached.

Abstract
Interatomic Coulombic decay (ICD) is a significant fragmentation mechanism observed in weakly bound systems. It has been widely accepted that ICD-induced molecular fragmentation occurs through a two-step process, involving ICD as the first step and dissociative-electron attachment (DEA) as the second step. In this study, we conducted a fragmentation experiment of ArCH_{4} by electron impact, utilizing the coincident detection of one electron and two ions. In addition to the well-known decay pathway that induces pure ionization of CH_{4}, we observed a new channel where ICD triggers the ionization dissociation of CH_{4}, resulting in the cleavage of the C-H bond and the formation of the CH_{3}^{+} and H ion pair. The high efficiency of this channel, as indicated by the relative yield of the Ar^{+}/CH_{3}^{+} ion pair, agrees with the theoretical prediction [L. S. Cederbaum, J. Phys. Chem. These results suggest that ICD can directly break covalent bonds with high efficiency, bypassing the need for DEA. This finding introduces a novel approach to enhance the fragmentation efficiency of molecules containing covalent bonds, such as DNA backbone.

Abstract
We demonstrate a single-stage all-fiber nanosecond amplifier with a total average power of greater than 1.4 kW by employing what we believe to be a novel multi-cavity passively Q-switched fiber laser as the seed laser. The multi-cavity seed laser adopts a piece of Yb-doped fiber (YDF) as saturable absorber (SA), and it includes two external cavities resonating at 1030 nm and an internal cavity working at 1064 nm, respectively. Using such a scheme, a stable dual-channel laser output with a total average power of >35 W, a pulse width of 45 ns, and an optical conversion efficiency of 72% operating at 1064 nm is achieved. By power scaling the multi-cavity seed laser, a dual-channel single-stage nanosecond amplifier is obtained with a single-port average power of exceeding 700 W and a pulse energy of about 7.3 mJ. To the best of our knowledge, this work is the highest average power and optical conversion efficiency for passively Q-switched all-fiber laser employing SA fiber, and the highest average power for a single-stage all-fiber nanosecond amplifier.

Abstract
In 2020, COVID-19 became a global pandemic. Older people are less resistant to the novel coronavirus. In order to ensure the health of the elderly population, the governments of five Central Asian countries should provide home medical services for the elderly or provide "green channel" to medical services. This "green channel" means providing a special service and treatment for the elderly in the hospital to ensure that they can safely and easily access the medical services they need. In order to study the application scope of various modes, this article constructs three modes of differential game: no special care, home medical care and "green channel". And the equilibrium results are compared and analyzed. Research shows that when the additional medical costs associated with house calls or "green channel" gradually increase, the social benefits to both the elderly and the government gradually decrease, and eventually it is less than the social benefits under the no-special care model. The greater the credibility of the government under the "green channel" service model, the greater the social benefits of the government. However, the greater the credibility of the government under the home medical service model, the smaller the social benefits of the government.

Abstract
The objective of this study was to investigate the direct effects of pain-induced depression and anxiety, as well as the mediating role of psychological resilience, on the psychological distress associated with rheumatoid arthritis. The method involved a sample of 196 patients with rheumatoid arthritis and applied the Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale, Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale, and visual analog scale for pain. Bivariate and path analyses were performed, and a multiple mediational model was utilized. Results showed that all correlations among study variables were significant (p < 0.01). A partial mediation effect of psychological resilience was observed, and direct effects among the variables (pain, psychological resilience, anxiety, and depression) were statistically significant, including the direct effect of psychological resilience on depression and anxiety. The indirect effects of pain through psychological resilience on depression and anxiety were also significant. Thus, the results suggest that psychological resilience partially mediates the effects of pain-induced anxiety and depression in patients with rheumatoid arthritis.

Abstract
Trimethyltin chloride (TMT) is a highly toxic organotin compound often used in plastic heat stabilizers, chemical pesticides, and wood preservatives. TMT accumulates mainly through the environment and food chain. Exposure to organotin compounds is associated with disorders of glucolipid metabolism and obesity. The mechanism by which TMT damages pancreatic tissue is unclear. For this purpose, a subacute exposure model of TMT was designed for this experiment to study the mechanism of damage by TMT on islet. The fasting blood glucose and blood lipid content of mice exposed to TMT were significantly increased. Histopathological and ultrastructural observation and analysis showed that the TMT-exposed group had inflammatory cell infiltration and necrosis. Then, mouse pancreatic islet tumour cells (MIN-6) were treated with TMT. Autophagy levels were detected by fluorescence microscopy. Real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction and Western blotting were used for verification. A large amount of autophagy occurred at a low concentration of TMT but stagnated at a high concentration. Excessive autophagy activates apoptosis when exposed to low levels of TMT. With the increase in TMT concentration, the expression of necrosis-related genes increased. Taken together, different concentrations of TMT induced apoptosis and necrosis through autophagy disturbance. TMT impairs pancreatic (islet β cell) function.

Abstract
Recently, view-based approaches, which recognize a 3D object through its projected 2-D images, have been extensively studied and have achieved considerable success in 3D object recognition. Nevertheless, most of them use a pooling operation to aggregate viewwise features, which usually leads to the visual information loss. To tackle this problem, we propose a novel layer called capsule attention layer (CAL) by using attention mechanism to fuse the features expressed by capsules. In detail, instead of dynamic routing algorithm, we use an attention module to transmit information from the lower level capsules to higher level capsules, which obviously improves the speed of capsule networks. In particular, the view pooling layer of multiview convolutional neural network (MVCNN) becomes a special case of our CAL when the trainable weights are chosen on some certain values. Furthermore, based on CAL, we propose a capsule attention convolutional neural network (CACNN) for 3D object recognition. Extensive experimental results on three benchmark datasets demonstrate the efficiency of our CACNN and show that it outperforms many state-of-the-art methods.

Abstract
This study used UPLC-TQ-MS technology to replicate a Henoch-Schonlein purpura(HSP) model in rats by administering warm drugs by gavage and injecting ovalbumin with Freund's complete adjuvant emulsion. The distribution differences and characteristics of eight major components(ferulic acid, caffeic acid, neochlorogenic acid, cryptochlorogenic acid, benzoyl oxypaeoniflorin, tracheloside, loganin, and paeoniflorin) in rat liver, lung, heart, spleen, and kidney tissues were determined after oral administration of the Liangxue Tuizi Mixture at a dose of 42 g·kg~(-1) in both normal physiological and HSP states at 0.5, 1, 2, 6, and 12 hours. The results showed that the distribution patterns of the eight components of Liangxue Tuizi Mixture in the tissues of normal and HSP model rats were different. The main component, paeoniflorin, in Moutan Cortex and Paeoniae Radix Alba had higher content in all tissues. The eight components were predominantly distributed in the liver, lung, and kidney tissues, followed by spleen and heart tissues.

Abstract
Vision enables both image-forming perception, driven by a contrast-based pathway, and unconscious non-image-forming circadian photoentrainment, driven by an irradiance-based pathway1,2. Although two distinct photoreceptor populations are specialized for each visual task3-6, image-forming photoreceptors can additionally contribute to photoentrainment of the circadian clock in different species7-15. However, it is unknown how the image-forming photoreceptor pathway can functionally implement the segregation of irradiance signals required for circadian photoentrainment from contrast signals required for image perception. Here we report that the Drosophila R8 photoreceptor separates image-forming and irradiance signals by co-transmitting two neurotransmitters, histamine and acetylcholine. This segregation is further established postsynaptically by histamine-receptor-expressing unicolumnar retinotopic neurons and acetylcholine-receptor-expressing multicolumnar integration neurons. The acetylcholine transmission from R8 photoreceptors is sustained by an autocrine negative feedback of the cotransmitted histamine during the light phase of light-dark cycles. At the behavioural level, elimination of histamine and acetylcholine transmission impairs R8-driven motion detection and circadian photoentrainment, respectively. Thus, a single type of photoreceptor can achieve the dichotomy of visual perception and circadian photoentrainment as early as the first visual synapses, revealing a simple yet robust mechanism to segregate and translate distinct sensory features into different animal behaviours.

Abstract
We report a case of an exophytic benign prostatic hyperplasia presenting as a polycystic pelvic mass. A 69-year-old man presented with an incidental finding of a pelvic mass of over 18 years. Digital rectal examination revealed a mass on the right anterior rectal wall 8 cm from the anal opening. His current prostate-specific antigen was 3.187 ng/mL. Enhanced computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging demonstrated an occupancy in the right pelvis. A laparoscopic resection of the pelvic tumor was performed and pathologists identified it as an exophytic benign prostatic hyperplasia nodule. No significant recurrence was found at the 6-month follow-up.

Abstract
The Chinese government has officially announced that China's carbon dioxide emissions will reach to peak before 2030 and achieve carbon neutrality before 2060. Based on the carbon neutrality development of 12 provinces and cities in eastern China from 2010 to 2019, this paper constructs an evaluation index system, and it uses the entropy weight method and coefficient of variation method to measure the carbon neutrality development level in the eastern China. The results show that from 2010 to 2019, the changes of carbon source level in 12 provinces and cities in the eastern China are lower than the changes in carbon sink level, and the changes of carbon source and sink level in most provinces and cities show the increasing trend. Spatially, the carbon neutral development level shows the differentiation characteristics of "low in the middle, high in the north and south." The main factors affecting the carbon neutrality level of eastern provinces and cities include policy, economic development and industrial structure, energy intensity and structure, urban development, and population size ecological environment. High-value areas are mainly distributed in Heilongjiang Province, Jilin Province and Fujian Province. Low-value areas are mainly distributed in Jiangsu Province and Shandong Province. Eastern China still needs to strengthen its emphasis on low-carbon policies. For Shandong Province, Jiangsu Province, and Hebei Province, policies should be introduced to reduce carbon sources, accelerate their industrial upgrading, and optimize their energy use structure. For Beijing City, Shanghai City, Heilongjiang Province, and Jilin Province, policies should be introduced to develop carbon sinks while maintaining their low carbon source levels. For Beijing City and Shanghai City, policies related to green and low-carbon technologies should be introduced to promote the development of carbon sink capacity through low-carbon technologies in limited urban areas.

Abstract
Background Breast carcinoma (BC) threatens the physical and mental health of women worldwide, and early diagnosis is important for improving patient outcomes and ensuring successful treatment. Purpose This research mainly aims to compare and analyze the value of molybdenum target X-ray and high-frequency color Doppler flow imaging (CDFI) in the early diagnosis of BC. Methods First, 102 patients with suspected early-stage BC (ESBC) admitted to Henan Provincial People's Hospital were examined by molybdenum target X-ray and CDFI. Based on the pathological findings, the diagnostic efficiency data of the two diagnostic modalities such as positive detection rate (PDR), positive predictive value (PPV), negative predictive value (NPV), sensitivity (SEN), specificity (SPE), and accuracy (ACC), as well as imaging information like masses, microcalcifications (MCs), axillary lymph node (LN) metastases, and blood flow signal or vascular sign abnormalities were analyzed. Results CDFI contributed to higher PDR, PRV, NPV, SEN, and ACC than molybdenum target X-ray in ESBC diagnosis, but similar SPE. The combined diagnosis of molybdenum target X-ray plus CDFI contributed to even higher PDR, PRV, NPV, SEN, and ACC than molybdenum target X-ray alone and higher ACC than CDFI. Imaging inspection revealed that the number of cases of masses, axillary LN metastases, and abnormalities in blood flow signals or vascular signs detected by CDFI was significantly higher than that by molybdenum target X-ray, while the number of MCs was significantly lower. Conclusion Molybdenum target X-ray plus CDFI is more effective in the diagnosis of ESBC and plays a complementary role in imaging examination, which can synergistically improve the diagnostic ACC of ESBC and is worthy of clinical promotion.

Abstract
Studies have shown that high humidity is a condition that aggravates the pain of rheumatoid arthritis (RA), but the relevant mechanism is controversial. Currently, there is a lack of experimental animal studies on high humidity as an adverse factor related to the pathogenesis of RA. We used healthy SD rats and collagen-induced arthritis (CIA) rats to investigate the effects of high humidity on arthritis. Integrated metabolomics analyses of faeces and 16S rRNA sequencing of the faecal microbiota were performed to comprehensively assess the diversity of the faecal microbiota and metabolites in healthy and CIA rats. In this study, high humidity aggravated arthritis in CIA rats, which manifested as articular cartilage lesions, increased arthritis scores, and an increase in proinflammatory cytokines. High humidity had a certain effect on the articular cartilage extent, arthritis score and proinflammatory cytokines of healthy rats as well. Furthermore, high humidity caused significant changes in faecal microbes and metabolites in both healthy and CIA rats. 16S rRNA sequencing of faecal samples showed that high humidity increased the amount of inflammation-related bacteria in healthy and CIA rats. Faecal metabolomics results showed that high humidity significantly altered the level of faecal metabolites in healthy rats and CIA rats, and the changes in biological functions were mainly related to the inflammatory response and oxidative stress. Combined analysis showed that there was a strong correlation between the faecal microbiota and faecal metabolites. High humidity is an adverse factor for the onset and development of RA, and its mechanism is related to the inflammatory response and oxidative stress. However, the question of how high humidity impacts RA pathogenesis needs to be further investigated.

Abstract
The skin has multiple functions, and capillaries can penetrate the epidermis to shorten the diffusion path while allowing maintenance of overall epidermal thickness for nonrespiratory roles. However, a method for quantifying the capillary penetration extent is lacking. Such a method may facilitate making comparisons and detecting associations, potentially making the extent a useful variable in biological studies. We quantified the extent as the ratio of the average minimum thickness of epidermis overlying each capillary to the average epidermal thickness along a skin section and then explored its performance in the Emei mustache toad, Leptobrachium boringii, a species in which breeding males with loose skin call and fight each other with maxillary spines underwater. The ratio showed informative associations with other variables, such as perfused capillary density. It displayed small intragroup variation and could be more sensitive than other variables in revealing structural differences in the skin. The ratio estimates were lowest and were correlated with epidermal and stratum compactum thicknesses in breeding males, i.e., a covariation but not reinforcement against stabbing, constituting early evidence consistent with the increased extensibility of loose skin conferring a defensive advantage during combat in amphibians. In addition, our results lead to the hypothesis that high hemoglobin density along subepidermal capillaries favors the maintenance of low blood partial oxygen pressure and hence increases cutaneous oxygen uptake. We also provide evidence supporting the new idea that the cooccurrence of loose skin and underwater calling found in some frogs can be explained by the latter benefiting from a large functional respiratory surface area. Awareness of the usefulness of the ratio may promote its application and the quantification of the penetration. Regarding exchange surface design, these findings for L. boringii imply a case in which looseness increases surface area as well as prevents damage.

Abstract
α-Halogenated boronic esters are versatile building blocks that can be diversified into a wide variety of polyfunctionalized molecules. However, their synthetic potential has been hampered by limited preparation methods. Herein, we report a visible light-induced C-H bromination reaction of readily available benzyl boronic esters. This method features high yields, mild conditions, simple operation, and good functional group tolerance. The analogous chlorides and iodides can be accessed via Finkelstein reaction. Synthesis of halogenated geminal diborons has also been demonstrated.

Abstract
Although the effect of the electron blocking layer (EBL) material, deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA), on the electroluminescence (EL) performance of organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) has been studied, the process of DNA regulation of exciton recombination region within the device is still unclear. Herein, devices with and without EBL were fabricated using different DNA spin-coating speeds, and the photoelectric performance of device were measured. By using DNA compounded with cetyltrimethyl ammonium (CTMA) as the EBL and hole buffer layer, so-called BioLEDs. The DNA-based green Alq3BioLEDs achieve higher luminance (39 000 cd m-2) and higher current efficiency (8.4 cd A-1), which are increased by 49% and 54%, respectively, compared to the reference OLEDs without the addition of DNA. Similarly, the maximum luminance and efficiency of yellow Rubrene BioLEDs is increased by 64% (from 12 120 to 19 820 cd m-2) and 74% (from 1.36 to 2.36 cd A-1), the luminance and efficiency of blue TCTA BioLEDs is increased by 101% and 245%. Specifically, we found that as the thickness of DNA-CTMA increases, the exciton recombination region moves towards the interface between the emitting layer (EML) and the hole transport layer (HTL). By better confining excitons within the EML, the current efficiency of the BioLEDs is effectively improved. Accordingly, we provide a possible idea for achieve high performance DNA-based BioLEDs by adding DNA-CTMA EBL and hole buffer layers. Meanwhile, as the DNA thickness increases, the exciton recombination region moves towards the EML/HTL interface, thereby enhancing the efficiency of the DNA-based BioLEDs.

Abstract
PURPOSE/OBJECTIVE(S) A Biology-guided Radiotherapy (BgRT) based device is designed to use Positron Emission Tomography (PET) signals to achieve tracked dose delivery. The goal of this study is to investigate the dose delivery accuracy in case of interruption during BgRT treatment, and resumption in a separate treatment session for a multi-target delivery, as the PET activity continues to decay. MATERIALS/METHODS A custom-built large anthropomorphic phantom (LAP) including a 26 mm spherical target with 3D independent motion and two 22 mm spherical targets with 1D sinusoidal motion embedded in water was used. All three targets were filled with FGD in an 8:1 target to background uptake ratio (41.52 kBq/ml in target and 5.19 kBq/ml in background). During BgRT delivery, the treatment was intentionally paused during delivery to the second target and the current treatment session was ended to generate a partial fraction. Then the partial fraction was continued in a new session, where the CT scan localization and PET pre-scan were repeated using the existing PET activity present in the phantom. The newly acquired PET pre-scan, was then used to determine if sufficient PET counts were present to resume treatment delivery. The interruption and recovery algorithm is designed to calculate the fluence that needs to be delivered to the remaining targets as well as the residual fluence to be given to the targets that have already received partial dose prior to the interruption. Once the new fluence is recomputed, the treatment is resumed. The delivered doses were captured using radiochromic film (EBT-XD) inserted in the target as well as post-treatment dose calculations based on the delivered beamlet sequence to evaluate the results in terms of dosimetric coverage and margin loss. The margin loss is calculated as the maximum difference between the distance from the Clinical Target Volume (CTV) contour to the 97% isodose contour in the treatment plan and the on the film. The dosimetric coverage is defined as the percentage of voxels within the CTV that lies within 97% and 130% of the prescribed dose. RESULTS As shown in the table below, a margin loss of less than 3 mm for all targets and 100% CTV coverage was achieved. After treatment interruptions, the PET safety evaluation based on the PET pre-scan helped to determine whether the treatment could be continued on the same day using the same injected PET activity (an NTS value ≧ 2 and AC value ≧ 5 kBq/ml). CONCLUSION This study demonstrated that the BgRT system is able to deliver the prescribed dose to all targets with independent motion, even when an interruption and resumption occurs during treatment. In case such an interruption if the remaining PET activity satisfies the BgRT safety evaluation, the treatment can continue to deliver the remainder of the BgRT doses.

Abstract
PURPOSE/OBJECTIVE(S) To evaluate the reproducibility and variability of biology-guided radiotherapy (BgRT) treatments using a large anthropomorphic phantom modeling the motion amplitude of a lung tumor. MATERIALS/METHODS RefleXion X1 is equipped with two opposing 90 degrees PET detector arcs to capture the radionuclide emissions and direct the 6MV Linac to treat the lesions in real time. A custom-built phantom filled with a liquid [¹⁸F]Fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) solution was used. Fillable target and OAR structures were 3D printed and attached to motion stages. The GTV = CTV was matched to the spherical 22 mm diameter target, and the PTV was a 5 mm expansion from the CTV volume. The Biology Tracking Zone (BTZ) was generated after adding 5 mm margin to the motion extent of the CTV. The OAR was a large C-shape annulus (emulating a heart) that was approximately 3 cm from the target. The 3D independent motion trajectory of the target was designed to mimic lung motion: range of +5.8 mm to -4.9 mm in LR, range of +14.4 mm to -11.3 mm in SI, and range of +5.2 mm to -5.1 mm in AP directions. The OAR motion waveform used a 1D sinusoidal pattern with a 5 mm amplitude in SI direction. The target and the OAR were filled with 40 kBq/mL while the background had 5 kBq/mL FDG. A BgRT Modeling (imaging-only) PET acquisition was performed using RefleXion X1 and used to generate a 4-fraction BgRT treatment plan prescribing 10 Gy/fraction to PTV. For each delivery, target, OAR and background were filled with the same FDG concentrations as in the BgRT Modeling PET planning scan. Dosimetry to the target and OAR were both measured using an ion-chamber (Exradin A14SL) and film in the coronal plane through the center of the GTV for all 4 fractions. RESULTS The mean activity concentration within the (BTZ) was 7.4 ± 0.8 kBq/mL. The calculated signal-to-noise ratio metric (Normalized Target Signal) within the BTZ was 4.0 ± 0.3. Total treatment times were all less than 35 minutes (34.3 ± 0.2). Prescription dose coverage to the CTV for all 4 fractions was 100%. Ion chamber measurements in the CTV were -1.6 ± 1.3% relative to the planned dose over the active area of the ion-chamber. Minimum and maximum doses to the CTV, measured on film, were -7.7 ± 2.2% and 1.3 ± 1.4%, calculated relative to the planned dose distribution, respectively. The OAR maximum point dose measured on film was -8.7 ± 2.9%, calculated relative to the maximum OAR dose predicted on the bounded dose-volume histogram. CONCLUSION Based on this initial study, accurate and reproducible dosimetry can be achieved for targets under respiratory motion using biology-guided radiotherapy over the course of a complete course of treatment. Further studies are needed to evaluate the intrafraction dosimetry of BgRT delivery under various motion models and tumor sizes.

Abstract
PURPOSE/OBJECTIVE(S) We present the first dosimetric measurements of single session, multi-target BgRT deliveries using a clinically realistic motion phantom on a research-only version of the RefleXion X1 system. MATERIALS/METHODS A custom-made anthropomorphic phantom of a human torso with embedded fillable targets mimicking 18F-FDG-avid lesions was used. From the three embedded spherical targets, Target 1 was 26 mm in diameter coupled with a 3D independent respiratory motion with 22 mm range, whereas Target 2 and 3 were 22 mm in diameter and moved with a 1D 5 mm maximum sinusoidal motion. The 18F-FDG concentration in the background cavity of the phantom was 5 kBq/ml, and the targets were loaded with 10:1, 8:1 and 6:1 contrast relative to the background for Targets 1, 2, 3, respectively. Spherical structures were contoured as GTVs (CTV = GTV) and a 5 mm margin was added to create PTVs. Motion extent of the tumors were captured to create biological tracking zones for each target. Treatment plans were generated using a research version of the Reflexion treatment planning software to deliver 8 Gy/fx to the PTVs. The treatment delivery was repeated 2 times, and each time the phantom was refilled according to the plan. PET image evaluation metrics for each of the three targets were also recorded. Target dosimetry was measured using a combination of radiographic film and ion chamber. The maximum distance between the 97% prescription isodose line from the plan and the film measurements was used to characterize the dosimetric accuracy of the tracked deliveries. CTV and PTV min, max, and mean doses measured on film were also recorded for each target. RESULTS Treatment plans were successfully created with 100% prescription dose coverage to each target loaded with different FDG ratios. Total treatment times for the single-plan, three-target deliveries were less than 80 minutes. PET evaluation metrics at imaging-only and pre-scan, and planning and film dosimetry to the GTV and PTV for each of the three targets is shown in table below (mean ± standard deviation of both deliveries). The CTV dose coverage was maintained for all targets. The shrinkage distance of the 97% prescription dose isodose line on the film plane for all three targets was less than 3 mm for both tests, and ranged from -0.4 to -2.34 mm. CONCLUSION These results demonstrate that high tracking accuracy and dosimetric accuracy can be achieved in single session, multi-target deliveries over a range of target-to-background 18F-FDG concentrations and target motion patterns.

Abstract
PURPOSE/OBJECTIVE(S) In this work we try to validate the motion tracking capabilities of BgRT for periodic and step motion trajectories. SBRT plans that matches the corresponding BgRT plans are created and delivered to the same phantom with and without motion and results are evaluated. Using BgRT based SBRT plans eliminates any user bias and creates SBRT plans that would represent treatment delivery scenarios that could have happened if the PET guided BgRT was not present for that treatment. MATERIALS/METHODS To validate SBRT plans that matches the BgRT plans, we used three different types of motion patterns (1) static, (2) lung tumor motion and (3) one-centimeter step-shift. The lung tumor motion (∼25 mm in IEC-Y, ∼7 mm in IEC-X and ∼ 10 mm in IEC-Z) was used as it represents a continuous motion of the target for the entire length of the study while the step-shift case corresponds to the patient or tumor shifting between the localization CT and the start of treatment. First, a 10 Gy per fraction BgRT plan was created for each of the three experiments based on the corresponding PET image. Then, the BgRT plans were delivered to the corresponding targets with and without motion and results are evaluated. To perform a comparative study that assess the performance of BgRT and traditional SBRT (planning and delivery methods), the exact same plan fluence of BgRT plan for each experiment was used to create the corresponding SBRT plans. The newly created SBRT plans were delivered to the corresponding phantom experiments and were compared against BgRT delivery in terms of dose coverage and target margin loss using radiochromic film that moves with the target. The margin loss was calculated as the difference between the distance from the CTV contour to the 97% isodose contour in the treatment plan and the CTV contour to the 97% isodose contour on the film. Dosimetric coverage was on the other hand calculated as the percentage of the voxels within the CTV that lies within 97% and 130% of the prescribed dose. RESULTS The results showed that the margin loss for BgRT is less than 3 mm, while for the SBRT plans were more than 3 mm when target motion is present. The dosimetric coverage for BgRT was 100% for all three cases, however less than 100% for the SBRT cases with motion. CONCLUSION The results shows that BgRT is capable of tracking the tumor motion and delivering the prescribed dose to the moving target.

Abstract
PURPOSE/OBJECTIVE(S) Current deep learning-based dose prediction methods can only predict a specific dose distribution. If the predicted dose is inaccurate, no more options can be selected. We proposed a novel dose prediction method named dose band prediction, which outcomes a spectrum of predicted dose distribution for planning and quality assurance (QA). MATERIALS/METHODS Upper-Band and Lower-Band losses were involved in 3D convolution neural networks to establish the Upper-Band Network (UBN) and Lower-Band Network (LBN). Each voxel's ideal dose spectrum (dose band) was defined by the maximum/minimum rational dose predicted by UBN/LBN. 130 NPC cases with Tomotherapy (dataset 1), 49 cervix cases with IMRT (dataset 2) and 43 cervix cases with VMAT (dataset 3) were enrolled to establish and evaluate our dose band prediction method. RESULTS The dose band prediction method can successfully predict a spectrum of doses. Upper-Band/Lower-Band presents maximum/minimum rational dose; Middle-Line presents the average of Upper-Band and Lower-Band. The clinical implement dose was used as the reference dose. We evaluated the maximum interval between the reference and Upper-Band/Middle-Line/Lower-Band doses, and the percentage dose difference was used as the evaluation method. The differences in PTV for Upper-Band, Middle-Line and Lower-Band in dataset 1 were within 2.47%, 0.54%, and 2.8%; in dataset 2, they were within 0.37%, 1.15%, and 2.69%; in dataset 3, they were within 0.96%, 0.35%, and 1.66%. The mean difference of OARs for the Upper-Band, Middle-Line and Lower-Band in dataset 1 were within 8.13%, 4.97%, and 8.19%; in dataset 2, they were within 8.8%, 4.48%, and 5.52%; in dataset 3, they were within 4.01%, 3.13%, and 5.79% (shown in Table 1). CONCLUSION Dose Band prediction achieved high-accuracy dose prediction by the Middle-Line. More importantly, the Upper-Band/Lower-Band provided a spectrum of possible rational doses. Our Dose Band prediction method is based on a specific loss function, so it can easily be applied in various network and patient cases. Abstract
It is technically challenging to reversibly tune the layer number of 2D materials in the solution. Herein, a facile concentration modulation strategy is demonstrated to reversibly tailor the aggregation state of 2D ZnIn2 S4 (ZIS) atomic layers, and they are implemented for effective photocatalytic hydrogen (H2 ) evolution. By adjusting the colloidal concentration of ZIS (ZIS-X, X = 0.09, 0.25, or 3.0 mg mL-1 ), ZIS atomic layers exhibit the significant aggregation of (006) facet stacking in the solution, leading to the bandgap shift from 3.21 to 2.66 eV. The colloidal stacked layers are further assembled into hollow microsphere after freeze-drying the solution into solid powders, which can be redispersed into colloidal solution with reversibility. The photocatalytic hydrogen evolution of ZIS-X colloids is evaluated, and the slightly aggregated ZIS-0.25 displays the enhanced photocatalytic H2 evolution rates (1.11 µmol m-2 h-1 ). The charge-transfer/recombination dynamics are characterized by time-resolved photoluminescence (TRPL) spectroscopy, and ZIS-0.25 displays the longest lifetime (5.55 µs), consistent with the best photocatalytic performance. This work provides a facile, consecutive, and reversible strategy for regulating the photo-electrochemical properties of 2D ZIS, which is beneficial for efficient solar energy conversion.

Abstract
PURPOSE The incidence of linezolid-induced thrombocytopenia (LIT) has been reported to vary widely across studies. We performed a meta-analysis to identify the risk factors for thrombocytopenia among patients who received linezolid treatment. METHODS The PubMed, Embase and Cochrane Library databases were searched from inception to November 2022 to identify eligible studies. Data on the potential predictors of incidence in LIT were pooled using a random effects model. Sensitivity analyses were performed to determine the robustness of the results when significant heterogeneity was observed. RESULTS Forty observational studies involving 6454 patients treated with linezolid were included in the analysis. LIT was estimated to occur in 37% of patients. The following important factors were associated with the incidence of LIT: advanced age, body mass index, concurrent renal impairment or liver disease, abnormal laboratory parameters (including white blood cell count, serum creatinine, baseline platelet count, albumin, creatinine clearance rate, and estimated glomerular filtration rate), treatment duration and renal replacement therapy. CONCLUSIONS A variety of risk factors related to the occurrence of LIT were revealed in our analysis. Early identification of these factors could help patients improve clinical outcomes.

Abstract
Mounting evidence has demonstrated the considerable regulatory effects of long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) in the tumorigenesis and progression of various carcinomas. LncRNA Semaphorin 3B (SEMA3B) antisense RNA 1 (SEMA3B-AS1) has been found to be dysregulated in a few carcinomas recently. However, its potential function and mechanism in colorectal carcinoma (CRC) have not yet been examined. Here we show that SEMA3B-AS1 acts as a crucial regulator of CRC progression. We found that SEMA3B-AS1 expression was downregulated in CRC cell lines and tissues. Downregulation of SEMA3B-AS1 was significantly associated with poor survival in CRC patients. Overexpression of SEMA3B-AS1 reduced the cell growth and metastasis of CRC in vivo and in vitro. In addition, SEMA3B-AS1 promoted the expression of its sense-cognate gene SEMA3B, a member of the Semaphorin family (SEMAs), by recruiting EP300 to induce H3K9 acetylation at the SEMA3B promoter. Furthermore, we proved that SEMA3B-AS1 suppressed CRC angiogenesis by affecting the vascular endothelial growth factor signaling pathway activation which was regulated by the SEMA3B-NRP1 axis. Our work unravels a novel mechanism of SEMA3B-AS1 in the inhibition of CRC malignant progression and highlights its probability as a new promising diagnostic marker and therapeutic target for CRC interventions.

Abstract
PURPOSE/OBJECTIVE(S) To characterize the tracking capability and dosimetric accuracy of biology-guided radiotherapy (BgRT) under clinically relevant PET tracer uptake scenarios relative to the background. MATERIALS/METHODS A custom-made anthropomorphic phantom filled with a liquid 18F-FDG solution including two embedded fillable 22 mm diameter spherical structures mimicking GTV (= CTV) and OAR was coupled to motion stages to create an independent 3D respiratory motion with 22 mm maximum range for target and a 5 mm 1D sinusoidal motion in the OAR. The biology-tracking zone (BTZ) was generated by adding 5 mm margin to the motion extent. The three BgRT scenarios studied were representative of tumors with good (8:1), borderline (4:1) and undesired (2:1) PET biodistributions compared to background. The clinical safety limit of BgRT uses Activity Concentration within the BTZ (AC ≥ 5 kBq/ml) and Normalized Target Signal as a contrast metric (NTS ≧ 2.7 for planning and ≧ 2 for delivery). The BgRT deliveries were repeated 3 times with radiochromic film and integrated ion chamber capturing the target and OAR doses. Tracked dosimetry was assessed using a margin-loss calculation defined as the maximum linear difference in distance between the planned and delivered 97% prescription iso-dose lines. RESULTS The imaging-only PET images used to create BgRT plans had an AC of 7.0, 5.3, and 1.6 kBq/ml with an NTS of 6.8, 5.3, and 1.8 for 8:1, 4:1, and 2:1 concentrations, respectively. Qualitatively, the target was not visible on the planning PET images 2:1 loading scenario. At delivery, the mean pre-scan activity concentrations were 6.8, 4.7, and 3.7 kBq/ml with corresponding mean NTS of 3.7, 2.6, 1.5 for 8:1, 4:1 and 2:1 deliveries. The pre-scan values of AC or NTS did not satisfy the clinical system safety limits for 4:1 and 2:1 ratio experiments, but the engineering software allowed for the delivery to capture the resulting doses. The deliveries showed a prescription dose coverage to the CTV of 100% for the 8:1 and 4:1 cases, but 88% for the 2:1 case. When compared to the planned dose values, the delivered minimum doses were -7.6%, -8.6% and -10.9%, whereas the maximum dose differences in CTV were 1.2%, 0% and -4.8% of the planned dose distributions of the 8:1, 4:1 and 2:1 cases, respectively. Calculated margin losses were -2.3, -3.8, and -5.5 mm, for the 8:1, 4:1, and 2:1 cases, respectively. The maximum OAR doses were less than the maximum doses predicted on the bounded DVH curves for all scenarios. CONCLUSION With sufficient tracer uptake in the target, BgRT can deliver tracked dosimetry for targets with a large respiratory motion profile. Both the good BgRT candidate and borderline cases produced clinically acceptable delivered doses, even though the borderline case was flagged by the clinical system safety checks. As expected, the delivered BgRT dose distributions were suboptimal with reduced tumor over background PET contrast.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE The lack of disease-specific autoantibodies in giant cell arteritis (GCA) suggests an alternative role for B-cells readily detected in the inflamed arteries. Here we study the cytokine profile of tissue infiltrated and peripheral blood B-cells of patients with GCA. Moreover, we investigate the macrophage skewing capability of B-cell-derived cytokines. METHODS The presence of various cytokines in B-cell areas in temporal artery (n = 11) and aorta (n = 10) was identified by immunohistochemistry. PBMCs of patients with GCA (n = 11) and polymyalgia rheumatica (n = 10), and 14 age- and sex-matched healthy controls (HC) were stimulated, followed by flow cytometry for cytokine expression in B-cells. The skewing potential of B-cell-derived cytokines (n = 6 for GCA and HC) on macrophages was studied in vitro. RESULTS The presence of IL-6, GM-CSF, TNFα, IFNγ, LTβ and IL-10 was documented in B-cells and B-cell rich areas of GCA arteries. In vitro, B-cell-derived cytokines (from both GCA and HC) skewed macrophages towards a pro-inflammatory phenotype with enhanced expression of IL-6, IL-1β, TNFα, IL-23, YKL-40 and MMP-9. In vitro stimulated peripheral blood B-cells from treatment-naïve GCA patients showed an enhanced frequency of IL-6+ and TNFα+IL-6+ B-cells compared to HCs. This difference was no longer detected in treatment-induced remission. Erythrocyte sedimentation rate positively correlated with IL-6+TNFα+ B-cells. CONCLUSION B-cells are capable of producing cytokines and steering macrophages towards a pro-inflammatory phenotype. Although the capacity of B-cells in skewing macrophages is not GCA specific, these data support a cytokine-mediated role for B-cells in GCA and provide grounds for B-cell targeted therapy in GCA.

Abstract
The potential toxicity of Cd to soil and rice plant severely threaten human health. This study was conducted to investigate the remediation effects of blast furnace slag (BFS) on the bioavailability of Cd in a contaminated paddy soil from a perspective of soil solution chemistry. Batch experiments, pot culture experiments, and principal analysis (PCA) were used to study the effects and mechanisms of BFS addition changing Cd chemical behavior and Cd toxicity. Results indicated that BFS facilitated Cd adsorption in soils, increased pH, Eh, and EC values in soil solution, whereas reduced dissolved Cd content. BFS amendment was efficient in decreasing root Cd intake and Cd upward transport in rice plant, with the Cd translocation factor in brown rice decreased by ∼ 75% (BFS treatment, 6‰ wt) relative to Cd treatment, which in turn increased rice biomass and grain yield. PCA indicated that the dissolved Cd concentration had a close relationship with soil pH and metal concentration in soil solution. Results from this study indicated that BFS had potential ability for either immobilization or remobilization of Cd in soils, and the findings have important implications for Cd-polluted soil remediation or other resource utilization with slag-based materials.

Abstract
OBJECTIVES Suicidal ideation and behaviour are potential outcomes of workplace bullying. This review aimed to determine the extent of the association between workplace bullying and suicidal ideation and behaviour. STUDY DESIGN The study incorporated a systematic review and meta-analysis. METHODS The Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses statement was followed to conduct a comprehensive systematic review and meta-analysis. A combination of subject terms and free words was used to search nine electronic databases. Two reviewers independently screened articles and extracted information according to the inclusion criteria. A meta-analysis was performed with averaged weighted correlations across samples using the STATA software (version 16.0) from pooled estimates of the main results from all studies. RESULTS In total, 25 articles of high or medium quality were included in the systematic review; 15 of these were included in the meta-analysis. The prevalence of suicidal ideation and behaviour was 18% and 4%, respectively. Individuals who experienced workplace bullying had 2.03-times and 2.67-times higher odds of reporting suicidal ideation and behaviour, respectively, after adjustment for confounding factors. Moderating and mediating factors may help reduce the risk of suicidal ideation and behaviour for individuals experiencing workplace bullying. CONCLUSION This study indicated that exposure to workplace bullying significantly increased the risk of suicidal ideation and behaviour.
