Biography: Associate Professor Zhao-Yuan Fang is an expert in the field of cancer bioinformatics trained from Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shanghai, China. Dr. Fang has contributed to the studies of gene fusions in lung cancers, such as RET fusion and DNAH5 fusion, and the molecular mechanisms of human cancers, such as pathway variations, transcriptional deregulation and splicing alteration. He is also interested in elucidating cancer mechanisms using single cell and third-generation sequencing technologies. He has peer reviewed manuscripts for a dozen of SCI journals, and is passionate about developing new ways of data sharing and scientific reporting, which should be valuable for the social knowledge enhancement.
