Biography: Weiguang Qiao has completed his MD at the age of 25 years from Southern Medical University. He is an associate chief physician of Department of Gastroenterology, Nanfang Hospital, Southern Medical University, China. Dr. Qiao undertook his postgraduate training at the Nanfang hospital and has been an Attending Physician in the Department of Gastroenterology since 2018. He have got standard EUS training in Aichi cancer hospital from Professor Kazuo Hara. His ongoing research interests are endoscopic ultrasonography (particularly standard pancreas scanning and interventional EUS), early gastrointestinal carcinoma, enteroscopy and inflammatory bowel disease. He has published more than 10 peer-reviewed articles. With two research papers published in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. Dr. Qiao served as the member of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy in 2014 and 2015. Dr. Qiao served as secretary of the enterology group of Chinese Medical Association (from 2015 to 2018). Currently, he is the youth committee of endoscopic ultrasonography group of Chinese Medical Association. [-]
