Abstract
BACKGROUND The clinical trials of new anti-tumor drugs are prospering in China. The acceptance of clinical trials in patients is an important factor affecting the speed and quality of clinical trials. Previous studies have investigated the acceptance of clinical trials in those cancer patients, who have never participated in a trial. This study is designed to investigate and compare the acceptance and related causes of clinical trials in cancer patients who have once participated in a clinical trial or not. METHODS From June 2018 to April 2019, a standardized questionnaire-based survey was conducted among two groups of cancer patients classified by history of clinical trial participation in Cancer hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Science, mainly focusing on their overall acceptance of clinical trials and related considerations, including the role of attending doctors, as well as group differences between the two participants. RESULTS A total of 538 patients were enrolled with an average age of 53.5 years old, 51.1% of whom were males, and 43.3% of whom have never participated in a clinical trial. Overall, 502 patients (93.3%) were willing to or recommend their relatives or friends to participate in clinical trials, and patients with history of clinical trial participation had higher willingness (96.6% vs 90.8%, P=0.008). Patients were most likely to be motivated by expectation of optimal treatment (100.0% vs 99.3%) for both those who had once participated in a clinical trial or those not, respectively followed by financial burden reduction (56.0%) and recommendation by attending doctor (43.7%). The main reasons for unwillingness-to-participate for those who had once participated in a clinical trial were abandoning other treatment options, divided into control group or additional visits, while for those who had never participated in a clinical trial, ineffective treatment or serious adverse reactions were their main concerns. In the decision-making of clinical trial participation, 88% patients highly valued the role of recommendation by attending doctors. Among patients without trial participation history, 60.9% of those had no unwillingness-to-participate expressed that recommendation by attending doctors would change their decisions. The study also reported patients' preferences for information and access to clinical trials. CONCLUSIONS The acceptance of clinical trials in cancer patients in our hospital is generally high, especially in patients who had a history of trial participation. It's of substantial significance to give full play to the role of doctors in improving the acceptance of clinical trials of cancer patients in China.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Older adults are a growing segment of oncology population in China and beyong. However, older cancer patients were vastly underrepresented in clinical trial. To facilitate that all patients with cancer have equal access to the cutting edging treatment and receive evidence-based medication in mainland China, it's of particular importance to fully grasp the proportion of upper age restriction in cancer clinical trials, as well as associated factors. METHODS Based on clinical trials registered on the China Food and Drug Administration Registration and Information Disclosure Platform, we sought to characterize the overall proportion and trajectory of upper age-restriction among registered cancer drug trials in mainland China from 2009 to 2021, and potential influencing factors were determined by multivariate logistic regression. RESULTS According to the 3485 trials, upper age restriction proportion of cancer drug trials for patients over 65 years and 75 years was 18.8% (95% CI = 17.5%-20.1%) and 56.5% (95% CI = 51.3%-54.6%), respectively. Phase IV trials, international multicenter trials, or trials initiated by global companies seldom excluded patients over 65 years compared with phase I trials, domestic trials and trials initiated by Chinese enterprise, similar for 75 years and above. Both of 65 and 75 years old age limit sponsored by domestic enterprises showed slowly downward trend, while no such trend was observed for that of foreign companies. Solution to upper age eligibility of cancer drug trials was also provided. CONCLUSIONS Although there is a certain downward trend, use of eligibility criteria that explicitly exclude older cancer patients in mainland China was remarkably high, especially for trials initiated by domestic enterprise, domestic trials and early-phase trials. Action is urgently needed to promote treatment equity in the older patients while obtaining adequate evidence in clinical trials.

Abstract
With advances in cancer biology and an ever-deepening understanding of molecular virology, oncolytic virus (OV)-driven therapies have developed rapidly and become a promising alternative to traditional cancer therapies. In recent years, satisfactory results for oncolytic virus therapy (OVT) are achieved at both the cellular and organismal levels, and efforts are being increasingly directed toward clinical trials. Unfortunately, OVT remains ineffective in these trials, especially when performed using only a single OV reagent. In contrast, integrated approaches, such as using immunotherapy, chemotherapy, or radiotherapy, alongside OVT have demonstrated considerable efficacy. The challenges of OVT in clinical efficacy include the restricted scope of intratumoral injections and poor targeting of intravenous administration. Further optimization of OVT delivery is needed before OVs become a viable therapy for tumor treatment. In this review, the development process and antitumor mechanisms of OVs are introduced. The advances in OVT delivery routes to provide perspectives and directions for the improvement of OVT delivery are highlighted. This review also discusses the advantages and limitations of OVT monotherapy and combination therapy through the lens of recent clinical trials and aims to chart a course toward safer and more effective OVT strategies.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Early investigation suggested patients' level of awareness regarding clinical trials was related with willingness to participation. This study was intended to evaluate the level of awareness of cancer patients regarding clinical trials and related influencing factors, and to compare the differences of awareness between patients who attended clinical trials before and not. METHODS From Jun, 2018 to April, 2019, standardized question-naires were gathered from cancer patients (attended clinical trials vs not attended clinical trials) in our hospital regarding basic information and 10 other questions about awareness. The level of awareness was evaluated and patients were classified into "low cognition" and "high cognition" groups. Logistic regression analysis was performed to determine whether certain characteristics would predict for awareness. RESULTS Of the 617 participants, 38.6% have attended clinical trials before. 338 (54.6%) patients had a correct overall understanding of clinical trials, while 44 (7.1%) patients still thought participants were the victim of scientific research. Except for the compensation of medical expenses (51.5% vs 48.7%) and related laws of clinical trials (52.3% vs 45.5%), other parts of understanding were elevated in patients attended clinical trials before comparing with patients who didn't, including significance (86.2% vs 77.6%), risk disclosure (91.2% vs 71.6%), confidentiality (73.2% vs 59.7%), voluntariness (95.8% vs 76.3%), withdrawal (86.6% vs 68.2%) and expenses (62.8% vs 39.2%). The proportion of participants who understand these components did not increase even in 239 patients who had attended clinical trials before. Participants who attended clinical trials before (OR=1.83, 95%CI: 1.11-3.00), unmarried/divorced (OR=5.04, 95%CI: 1.73-14.66), retired (OR=2.53, 95%CI: 1.16-5.50) had a higher level of awareness, while patients who had bad impression with doctors (OR=0.43, 95%CI: 0.26-0.72) had lower awareness. CONCLUSIONS The current level of awareness for clinical trials of cancer patients in our hospital was relatively low, even in patients who had attended clinical trials before. It's necessary to improve patients' awareness of clinical trial by promoting harmony relationship between patients and doctors, as well as by enhancing related propagation. Strengthening the adequacy and efficacy of informed consent in clinical trials also needs to be achieved in the future.

Abstract
Objective: To deliver macro understanding of the latest research progress on clinical trials and approved products of cancer drugs in China in 2019. Methods: The number of clinical trials and related investigational products by domestic and foreign enterprises in 2019 were acquired in the China Food and Drug Administration Registration and Information Disclosure Platform for Drug Clinical Studies, while listed drugs were obtained in the China Food and Drug Administration Query System for Domestic and Imported Drug. Characteristics on stage, scope, indication of those trials, classification and mechanism of involved products, as well as listed anticancer drugs were summarized and depicted. Results: There were 474 cancer drug trials registered in China in 2019, accounting for 21.8% of the total, and 397 (83.8%) were initiated by domestic pharmaceutical enterprises. Overall, international multicenter trials accounted for 13.1%, and phase I trials accounted for 47.3%. Compared with global enterprises, the proportion of international multi-center trials initiated by domestic companies is lower (4.8% vs. 55.8%, P<0.001), and the proportion of phase I clinical trials and bioequivalence trials is higher (51.9% vs. 23.4%, 19.4% vs. 1.3%, P<0.001). An accumulative of 27 cancer types were involved for all the cancer drug trials, and lung cancer, solid tumor, and breast cancer were the most common cancer types, with 103, 95 and 49 trials, respectively. For the three cancer types unique to Chinese population, gastric, liver and esophageal cancer, the total number of initiated trials was 47. For all those trials, there were 335 cancer drug varieties, with 86.0% developed by domestic pharmaceutical enterprises, including 300 therapeutic drugs, 30 adjunctive drugs and 5 preventive drugs. In terms of mechanism, targeted drugs and immune drugs were the most popular, accounting for 74.6% and 20.3%, respectively. In addition, 17 anticancer drugs targeting on 11 cancer types were approved in China in 2019. Conclusions: Clinical trials on cancer drugs in China have ushered a booming era, with large number of innovative agents represented by targeted drugs and immune drugs under clinical development or putting into clinical practice. Those local enterprises are playing more and more critical roles. Strengthening clinical research and development on Chinese unique cancer types is the key direction of future work.

Abstract
SUMMARY Here we developed a tool called Breakpoint Identification (BreakID) to identity fusion events from targeted sequencing data. Taking discordant read pairs and split reads as supporting evidences, BreakID can identify gene fusion breakpoints at single nucleotide resolution. After validation with confirmed fusion events in cancer cell lines, we have proved that BreakID can achieve high sensitivity of 90.63% along with PPV of 100% at sequencing depth of 500× and perform better than other available fusion detection tools. We anticipate that BreakID will have an extensive popularity in the detection and analysis of fusions involved in clinical and research sequencing scenarios. Abstract
INTRODUCTION Limited clinical studies have been conducted on rare solid tumours, and there are few guidelines on the diagnosis and treatment, including experiences with targeted therapy and immunotherapy, of rare solid tumours in China, resulting in limited treatment options and poor outcomes. This study first proposes a definition of rare tumours and is designed to test the preliminary efficacy of targeted and immunotherapy drugs for the treatment of rare tumours. METHODS AND ANALYSIS This is a phase II, open-label, non-randomised, multiarm, single-centre clinical trial in patients with advanced rare solid tumours who failed standard treatment; the study aims to evaluate the safety and efficacy of targeted drugs in patients with advanced rare solid tumours with corresponding actionable alterations, as well as the safety and efficacy of immune checkpoint (programmed death receptor inhibitor 1, PD-1) inhibitors in patients with advanced rare solid tumours without actionable alterations. Patients with advanced rare tumours who fail standardised treatment and carry actionable alterations (Epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) mutations, ALK gene fusions, ROS-1 gene fusions, C-MET gene amplifications/mutations, BRAF mutations, CDKN2A mutations, BRCA1/2 mutations, HER-2 mutations/overexpressions/amplifications or C-KIT mutations) will be enrolled in the targeted therapy arm and be given the corresponding targeted drugs. Patients without actionable alterations will be enrolled in the PD-1 inhibitor arm and be treated with sintilimab. After the patients treated with vemurafenib, niraparib and palbociclib acquire resistance, they will receive combination treatment with sintilimab or atezolizumab. With the use of Simon's two-stage Minimax design, and the sample size was estimated to be 770. The primary endpoint of this study is the objective response rate. The secondary endpoints are progression-free survival in the targeted treatment group and single-agent immunotherapy group; the duration of response in the targeted therapy and single-agent immunotherapy groups; durable clinical benefit in the single-agent immunotherapy group; and the incidence of adverse events. ETHICS AND DISSEMINATION Ethics approval was obtained from the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences (ID: 20/132-2328). Abstract
The drug resistance of first-line crizotinib therapy for ROS proto-oncogene 1, receptor tyrosine kinase (ROS1) fusion non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) is inevitable. Whether the administration of immune checkpoint inhibitor (ICI) therapy is suitable for ROS 1 fusion NSCLCs or after the development of crizotinib resistance is still unknown. In this study, five different crizotinib resistant concentration cell lines (HCC78CR1-5) from primary sensitive HCC78 cells were cultured. Ba/F3 cells expressing crizotinib sensitive ROS1 fusion and crizotinib resistant ROS1-G2032R mutation were used to explore the relationship between ROS1 fusion, ROS1-G2032R mutation and programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) expression and the clinical potential of anti-PD-L1 ICI therapy. The signaling pathway net was compared between HCC78 and HCC78CR1-5 cells using RNA sequencing. Anti- PD-L1 ICI therapy was performed on mouse xenograft models with Ba/F3 ROS1 fusion or ROS1-G2032R mutation. HCC78CR1-5 showed more immunogenicity than HCC78 in immune-related pathways. The PD-L1 expression level was remarkably higher in HCC78CR1-5 with ROS1 fusion upregulation than HCC78 primary cell. Furthermore, the expression of PD-L1 was down-regulated by RNA interference with ROS1 siRNAs and up-regulated lower in Ba/F3 ROS1-G2032R resistant mutation than ROS1 fusion. Western blotting analysis showed the ROS1-SHP2 signaling pathway activation in HCC78CR1-5 cells, Ba/F3 ROS1 fusion and ROS1-G2032R resistant mutation. Mouse xenograft models with Ba/F3 ROS1 fusion showed more CD3+PD-1+ T cells both in blood and tissue, and more sensitivity than the cells with Ba/F3 ROS1-G2032R resistant mutation after anti-PD-L1 therapy. Our findings indicate that PD-L1 upregulation depends on ROS1 fusion more than ROS1-G2032R mutation. We share our insights of NSCLCs treatment management into the use of anti-PD-L1 ICI therapy in ROS1 fusion and not in ROS1-G2032R resistant mutation.

Abstract
Advances in novel drugs, therapies, and genetic techniques have revolutionized the diagnosis and treatment of cancers, substantially improving cancer patients' prognosis. Although rare tumors account for a non-negligible number, the practice of precision medicine and development of novel therapies are largely hampered by many obstacles. Their low incidence and drastic regional disparities result in the difficulty of informative evidence-based diagnosis and subtyping. Sample exhaustion due to difficulty in diagnosis also leads to a lack of recommended therapeutic strategies in clinical guidelines, insufficient biomarkers for prognosis/efficacy, and inability to identify potential novel therapies in clinical trials. Herein, by reviewing the epidemiological data of Chinese solid tumors and publications defining rare tumors in other areas, we proposed a definition of rare tumor in China, including 515 tumor types with incidences of less than 2.5/100 000 per year. We also summarized the current diagnosis process, treatment recommendations, and global developmental progress of targeted drugs and immunotherapy agents on the status quo. Lastly, we pinpointed the current recommendation chance for patients with rare tumors to be involved in a clinical trial by NCCN. With this informative report, we aimed to raise awareness on the importance of rare tumor investigations and guarantee a bright future for rare tumor patients.

Abstract
Rare tumor has a huge unmet medical need without standard regimens, calling for novel therapeutic interventions. The National Cancer Center of China identified a threshold of incidence for rare tumor as 2.5/100,000, based on the characteristics of Chinese population. Molecular profiles for rare tumor patients in China further provided prospects for precise and individualized targeted treatment. An ongoing phase II clinical trial, the PLATFORM study, is the first trial tailored for rare solid tumors in China, featured by molecule-guided therapeutics. With the promulgation of supportive policies to encourage the development of innovative drugs for rare tumors in China, opportunities will be provided for these patients and the gap will be filled in the treatment of rare tumors.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Bone metastases are the most common metastases of the non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). It can lead to bone ache and pathology fracture, deteriorate the quality of life. METHODS We retrospectively investigated the characteristics, diagnosis and prognosis factors of bone metastases in NSCLC. All of the 600 patients are from department of thoracic oncology in recently 5 years. Emission computed tomography (ECT) was used to screen the bone metastases and the diagnosis of bone metastases was confirmed by computed tomography (CT)/magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)/X-ray or pathology. RESULTS Among the total 322 bone metastases patients, subtype of adenocarcinoma had the most opportunity to occur bone metastases, and we found that vertebrae, pelvis and femora et al were the most frequently involved metastases sites. Patients who had more than 3 high 18F-FDG uptake sites of ECT, could be confirmed bone metastases by CT/MRI/X-ray than those with 1-2 high 18F-FDG uptake sites [80.6% (203/252) vs 50.79% (32/63), P<0.001]. The patients with bone metastases who had non-SRE had longer survival than that of SRE [1-yr survival 44.75% (non-SRE) vs 36.17% (SRE); median survival 14.74 mo (non-SRE) vs 12.25 mo (SRE)]. Multivariables analysis showed the pathology were non-adnocarcinoma, bone metastases less than 3 sites and bone metastases without other organs metastases would have good prognosis. CONCLUSIONS There were relations between the numbers of abnormal dense sites of ECT and the diagnosis of skeletal metastases, non-adnocarcinoma bone metastases less than 3 sites and bone metastases without other organs metastases were the independent prognosis factors.

Abstract
KRAS is the most commonly mutated oncogene in human cancers. Targeted therapy and immunotherapy for this gene have made remarkable progress in recent years. However, comprehensive molecular landscape analysis of KRAS in rare tumors is lacking. Retrospective analysis was performed on clinical samples from patients with rare tumors collected between September 2015 and September 2021, using hybrid-capture-based next-generation sequencing for genomic profiling and immunohistochemistry assay for PD-L1. Of the 3,453 patients included in analysis, KRAS mutations were identified in 8.7% patients in overall; mutation rate and mutation subtypes varied widely across tumor systems and subtypes. KRAS mutations included 21 missense mutations, of which G12D (29.2%), G12V (24.6%), and G13D (10.8%) were most common. Interestingly, KRAS G12C was observed in 0.6% patients overall, and in 5.7% of sarcomatoid carcinoma of the lung and 5.4% of clear cell ovarian cancer tumors, but none in small-bowel cancer tumors. 31.8% KRAS mutations and 36.4% KRAS G12C mutations co-occurred with other targetable alterations. No significant correlation was observed between TMB-H, MSI-H, PD-L1 status, and KRAS mutation status, which may be related to the high proportion of G12D. This study is the first KRAS mutation landscape study in rare tumors of large sample size in China and worldwide. Our results suggest that targeted therapy and immunotherapy are both feasible, albeit complex, in these patients. This information may have significant impact on the operation of clinical trials for rare tumor patients with KRAS mutations in China.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) therapy can be complicated by their potential cardiovascular toxicities, including myocarditis. Nowadays, no prospective trials have focused on ICI-associated myocarditis optimized management. Available evidence only come from case reports or series. A systematic case reports analysis was conducted to collect and evaluate emerging evidence of ICI-associated myocarditis to provide more information to clinicians. METHODS We performed a literature search for eligible case reports or series published between January 2018 and May 2023 using the PubMed database. Then, we extracted interesting information via table form. Finally, this study included 113 publications on 106 patients with ICI-associated myocarditis. RESULTS Myocarditis was found to be a highly life-threatening disease, with 53.8% of cases. Over half of cases were life-threatening (G4, 23.6%) or severe (G3, 35.8%) and required glucocorticoids. Higher rates of improvement were associated with the best response to ICI for complete response/partial response (72.7% vs. 53.9%), glucocorticoid administration (30% vs. 22%), and discontinuation of ICI (58.8% vs. 32.1%). Consequently, ICI-associated G3-G4 myocarditis should be treated with a combination of discontinuation of ICIs, high-dose glucocorticoids, other drugs, chemical drugs, plasma exchange, and life support. For moderate G1 or G2 cases, discontinuation of ICIs and regular-dose glucocorticoids should be considered. CONCLUSION Once full recovery or improvement was achieved; glucocorticoids can be administered at low doses or stopped. Notably, re-challenge with ICIs appears feasible after resolution or meaningful improvement of myocarditis.

Abstract
PURPOSE To investigate the correlations between metabolic parameters (MPs) of 18 F-fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) uptake on positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT), serum tumor markers (STMs), and tumor mutational burden (TMB) in patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). MATERIALS AND METHODS In this retrospective study, we enrolled 129 patients with NSCLC (males, 78; females, 51) who underwent baseline TMB and STM tests and 18 F-FDG PET/CT scans before treatment between March 2018 and September 2022. Patients were categorized into TMB-high (TMB ≥10 mutations/Mb; n = 27 [20.9%]) and non-TMB-high (TMB <10 mutations/Mb; n = 102 [79.1%]) groups. Binary logistic regression analyses were performed to determine independent predictors of TMB-high. Univariate and multivariate linear regression analyses were performed to determine independent predictors of TMB level on a log scale. Subgroup analyses for adenocarcinoma (ADC), ADC with EGFR+, ADC with EGFR-, and squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) were performed. RESULTS For ADC, all MPs (SULpeak , SULmax , SULmean , MTV, and TLG) were significantly higher in the TMB-high group than the non-TMB-high group; smoker (odds ratio [OR] = 27.08, p = 0.018), EGFR+ (OR = 0.03, p = 0.033), KRAS+ (OR = 7.98, p = 0.083), high CEA (OR = 33.56, p = 0.029), and high CA125 (OR = 13.68, p = 0.030) were independent predictors of TMB-high; and all MPs showed significant positive linear correlations with TMB on a log scale, with SULpeak as an independent predictor. However, no significant correlation was observed for SCC. CONCLUSION MPs and STMs can predict the TMB level for patients with ADC, and may serve as potential substitutes for TMB with increased value and easy implementation in guiding immunotherapy through noninvasive methods.

Abstract
Gene therapy involves the introduction of new genes into cells, to modify or manipulate the expression of a gene or to alter the biological properties, for the purpose of treating disease. It is designed to treat genetic diseases at their root, by correcting the mutation responsible, its success in treatment of blood cancers and rare diseases is encouraging, and it is also beginning to show promising effects against solid tumors. Here, we comprehensively analyze all the active clinical trials of gene therapy for solid tumors from January 2010 to April 2020. Our analysis highlights the increasing trends in gene therapy trials in China and elsewhere, as well as the potential of oncolytic viruses as gene therapy products for solid tumors in vivo.

Abstract
BACKGROUND To determine the safety and therapeutic efficacy of nimotuzumab (h-R3) combined with docetaxel in advanced non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients who have failed to respond to prior first-line chemotherapy. METHODS In this single-center, open-label, dose-escalating phase I trial, patients with epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR)-expressing stage IV NSCLC were treated with nimotuzumab plus docetaxel according to a dose escalation schedule. The safety and efficacy of the combination treatment were observed and analyzed. RESULTS There were 12 patients with EGFR-expressing stage IV NSCLC enrolled. The dose of nimotuzumab was escalated from 200 to 600 mg/week. The longest administration of study drug was 40 weeks at the 600 mg/week dose level. Grade III-IV toxicities included neutropenia and fatigue, and other toxicities included rash. Dose-limiting toxicity occurred with Grade 3 fatigue at the 200 mg dose level of nimotuzumab and Grade 4 neutropenia with pneumonia at the 600 mg dose level of nimotuzumab. No objective responses were observed, and stable disease was observed in eight patients (66.7%). The median progression-free survival (PFS) was 4.4 months in all patients, 1.3 months in patients with the EGFR mutation, and 4.4 months in those with wild type EGFR (EGFR WT). The median survival time (MST) was 21.1 months in all patients, 21.1 months in patients with EGFR mutation, and 26.4 months in patients with EGFR WT. CONCLUSIONS Nimotuzumab and docetaxel combination therapy was found to be well tolerated and efficacious. Further study of nimotuzumab is warranted in advanced NSCLC patients.

Abstract
BACKGROUND The genotype of epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) is associated with tyrosine kinase inhibitor and effectiveness of therapy, but its role in cytotoxic chemotherapy is still unknown. Previous studies indicated that certain EGFR mutations were associated with response and progression free survival following platinum based chemotherapy. Our recent studies have identified that EGFR genotypes in the tumour tissues were not associated with response to the first-line chemotherapy in Chinese patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). In this study, we investigated associations of EGFR genotypes from plasma of patients with advanced NSCLC and response to first-line chemotherapy and prognosis. METHODS We enrolled 145 advanced NSCLC patients who had received first-line chemotherapy in our department. We examined plasma EGFR genotypes for these patients and associations of EGFR mutations with response to chemotherapy and clinical outcomes. RESULTS There were 54 patients with known EGFR mutations and 91 cases of wild types. No significant difference was detected in the response rate to first-line chemotherapy between mutation carriers and wild-type patients (37.0% vs. 31.9%). The median survival time and 1-, 2-year survival rates were higher in mutation carriers than wild-types (24 months vs. 18 months, 85.7% vs. 65.7% and 43.7% vs. 25.9%, P = 0.047). Clinical stage (IV vs. IIIb), response to the first-line chemotherapy (partial vs. no) and EGFR genotype were independent prognostic factors. CONCLUSION Plasma EGFR mutations in the Chinese patients with advanced NSCLC is not a predictor for the response to first-line chemotherapy, but an independent prognostic factor indicating longer survival.
