Abstract
UNLABELLED Yersinia pseudotuberculosis is a Gram-negative foodborne pathogen that causes several diseases, such as enteritis, septicemia, and reactive arthritis. Loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) assay targeting the 16S-23S rDNA internal transcribed spacer (ITS) region was developed to detect Y. pseudotuberculosis in milk powder. The DNA amplification could be completed in 1 h, and detected by produced white precipitate visible to naked eyes. The detection limit of LAMP assay was 10(0) fg/reaction for genomic DNA, and 10(0) CFU/100 g milk powder coupled with 12 h enrichment. LAMP assay is 100 times more sensitive than conventional polymerase chain reaction method for detecting Y. pseudotuberculosis, and correctly identified 18 cases of Y. pseudotuberculosis contaminations from 236 commercial milk powder products. In conclusion, the developed LAMP assay may facilitate rapid detection of Y. pseudotuberculosis contaminations in agricultural and food products. PRACTICAL APPLICATION Rapid and accurate detection of Yersinia pseudotuberculosis in milk products.

Abstract
It has been suggested that drugs combining activities of selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor and 5-HT1A receptor agonist may form a novel strategy for higher therapeutic efficacy of antidepressant. The present study aimed to examine the pharmacology of YL-0919, a novel synthetic compound with combined high affinity and selectivity for serotonin transporter and 5-HT1A receptors. We performed in vitro binding and function assays and in vivo behavioral tests to assess the pharmacological properties and antidepressant-like efficacy of YL-0919. YL-0919 displayed high affinity in vitro to both 5-HT1A receptor and 5-HT transporter prepared from rat cortical tissue. It exerted an inhibitory effect on forskolin-stimulated cAMP formation and potently inhibited 5-HT uptake in both rat cortical synaptosomes and recombinant cells. After acute p.o. administration, very low doses of YL-0919 reduced the immobility time in tail suspension test and forced swimming test in mice and rats, with no significant effect on locomotor activity in open field test. Furthermore, WAY-100635 (a selective 5-HT1A receptor antagonist, 0.3 mg/kg) significantly blocked the effect of YL-0919 in tail suspension test and forced swimming test. In addition, chronic YL-0919 treatment significantly reversed the depressive-like behaviors in chronically stressed rats. These findings suggest that YL-0919, a novel structure compound, exerts dual effect on the serotonergic system, as both 5-HT1A receptor agonist and 5-HT uptake blocker, showing remarkable antidepressant effects in animal models. Therefore, YL-0919 may be used as a new option for the treatment of major depressive disorder.

Abstract
RNA interference (RNAi)-mediated viral inhibition has been used in several organisms for improving viral resistance. In the present study, we reported the use of transgenic RNAi in preventing Bombyx mori nucleopolyhedrovirus (BmNPV) multiplication in the transgenic silkworm B. mori. We targeted the BmNPV immediate-early-1 (ie-1) and late expression factor-1 (lef-1) genes in the transiently transfected BmN cells, in the stable transformed BmN cell line and in the transgenic silkworms. We generated four piggyBac-based vectors containing short double-stranded ie-1 RNA (sdsie-1), short double-stranded lef-1 RNA (sdslef-1), long double-stranded ie-1 RNA (ldsie-1) and both sdsie-1 and sdslef-1 (sds-ie1-lef1) expression cassettes. Strong viral repression was observed in the transiently transfected cells and in the stable transformed BmN cells transfected with sds-ie-1, sdslef-1, ldsie-1 or sds-ie-lef. The decrease of ie-1 mRNA level in the sds-ie1-lef1 transiently transfected cells was most obvious among the cells transfected with different vectors. The inhibitory effect of viral multiplication was decreased in a viral dose-dependent manner; the infection ratio of transfected cells for sds-ie-1, sdslef-1, ldsie-1 and sds-ie-lef decreased by 18.83%, 13.73%, 6.93% and 30.63%, respectively, compared with control cells 5 days after infection. We generated transgenic silkworms using transgenic vector piggyantiIE-lef1-neo with sds-ie1-lef1 expression cassette; the fourth instar larvae of transgenic silkworms of generation G5 exhibited stronger resistance to BmNPV, the mortalities for the transgenic silkworms and control silkworms were 60% and 100%, respectively, at 11 days after inoculation with BmNPV (10(6) occlusion bodies per ml). These results suggest that double-stranded RNA expression of essential genes of BmNPV is a feasible method for breeding silkworms with a high antiviral capacity.

Abstract
To investigate the expression of four subtypes of PGE2 E-prostanoid (EP) receptors (EP1-EP4) and the effects of EP3/EP4 on bladder dysfunction in a new neurogenic bladder model induced by experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE), the mouse model of EAE was induced using a previously established method, and bladder function in mice with different defined levels of neurological impairment was then examined, including micturition frequencies and voiding weight. Bladders were then harvested for analysis of EP receptor expression by Western blot. Activities of agonists/antagonists of EP3 and EP4 receptors as well as PGE2 were also evaluated at different stages of EAE. The results showed that EAE mice developed profound bladder dysfunction characterized by significantly increased micturition and significantly decreased urine output per micturition. EAE-induced upregulation of EP3 and EP4 receptors in the bladder was accompanied by bladder dysfunction. However, EAE had no significant effect on EP1 and EP2 receptors. Moreover, PGE2 and agonists/antagonists of EP3 and EP4 receptors significantly affected bladder dysfunction in EAE mice. Thus, we believe that EAE mice are useful for investigations of the neurogenic bladder. In addition, EP3 and EP4 receptors play a role in EAE-induced bladder dysfunction, providing us with a new target for the treatment of neurogenic bladders.

Abstract
Calcitriol has been demonstrated to provide neuroprotection against ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) injury. However, the exact mechanism of this protection remains unknown. In the present study, the neuroprotective effect of calcitriol was investigated in rats exposed to cerebral I/R injury induced by middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO). In addition, the involvement of NR3A, extracellular signal‑regulated kinase 1/2 (ERK1/2), and phosphorylated cAMP/Ca2+‑response element binding protein (p‑CREB) in this protective action was determined in the hippocampal neurons. Western blot analysis was conducted to analyze the protein levels of NR3A, mitogen‑activated protein kinase kinase (MEK) and p‑CREB. The immunoreactivity of p‑CREB and NR3A were measured by quantum dot‑based immunofluorescence analysis. Results showed that MCAO rats exhibited large cortical infarct volumes. By contrast, intraperitoneal administration of calcitriol significantly reduced infarct volumes seven days following reperfusion, and these results were accompanied by elevated NR3A and p‑CREB activity in the hippocampal neurons. The inhibition of MEK by the addition of PD98059 led to attenuation of the neuroprotective effects of calcitriol and a correlated decrease in CREB activity. The results also demonstrated that calcitriol protected the brain from I/R injury through the NR3A‑MEK/ERK‑CREB pathway.

Abstract
It has been demonstrated that the translocator protein (18 kDa) (TSPO) plays an important role in stress-response and stress-related disorders, such as anxiety and depression, by affecting the production of neurosteroids, supporting the potential use of selective TSPO ligands as antidepressant or anxiolytic drugs. N-ethyl-N-(2-pyridinylmethyl)- 2-(3,4-ichlorophenyl)- 7-methylimidazo [1,2-a] pyridine-3-acetamide hydrochloride (YL-IPA08), a novel TSPO ligand that has been synthesized at our institute, exerted a high affinity for TSPO in a crude mitochondrial fraction prepared from rat cerebellum but exhibited only a negligible affinity for the central benzodiazepine receptor. As expected, YL-IPA08 incubation with the cultured rat astrocyte cells increased the pregnenolone and progesterone concentration from the cultured medium. Moreover, YL-IPA08 produced significant antidepressant-like and anxiolytic-like effects in a series of mouse and rat behavior models. In addition, the antidepressant-like behavior of YL-IPA08 was totally blocked by the TSPO antagonist PK11195 in a tail suspension test, and the anxiolytic effect was blocked by PK11195 but not by a CBR antagonist in the elevated plus-maze test. Furthermore, compared with the CBR agonist diazepam, YL-IPA08 had no myorelaxant effects and did not affect the motor coordination, memory or hexobarbitone-induced sleep in mice. Overall, these results indicate that YL-IPA08 is a more potent and selective TSPO ligand, which exerts antidepressant-like and anxiolytic-like effects on behaviors that are mediated by TSPO but does not cause the side effects that are typically associated with conventional benzodiazepines.

Abstract
BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE Identifying feeding arteries of intracranial AVMs is very important for preoperative evaluation. DSA remains the reference standard for diagnosis but is invasive. Our aim was to evaluate the diagnostic accuracy of vessel-encoded pseudocontinuous arterial spin-labeling in identifying feeding arteries of intracranial AVMs by using DSA as the criterion standard. MATERIALS AND METHODS Eighteen patients with AVMs were examined with vessel-encoded pseudocontinuous arterial spin-labeling and DSA. Three postlabeling delays (postlabeling delay = 1, 1.3, and 1.6 seconds) were applied in 6 patients, and a single postlabeling delay (1 second) was applied in the remainder. Perfusion-weighted images were decoded into individual vascular territories with standard and relative tagging efficiencies, respectively. The supply fraction of each feeding artery to the AVM was calculated. The within-subject ANOVA was applied to compare supply fractions acquired across 3 postlabeling delays. Receiver operating characteristic analysis curves were calculated to evaluate the diagnostic accuracy of vessel-encoded pseudocontinuous arterial spin-labeling for identifying the feeding arteries of AVMs. RESULTS There were no significant differences in supply fractions of the 3 major arteries to AVMs acquired with 3 postlabeling delays (P > .05). For vessel-encoded pseudocontinuous arterial spin-labeling with standard labeling efficiencies, the area under the receiver operating characteristic analysis curve was 0.942. The optimal cutoff of the supply fraction for identifying feeding arteries was 15.17%, and the resulting sensitivity and specificity were 84.62% and 93.33%, respectively. For vessel-encoded pseudocontinuous arterial spin-labeling with relative labeling efficiencies, the area under the receiver operating characteristic analysis curve was 0.957. The optimal cutoff of the supply fraction was 11.73%, which yielded an 89.74% sensitivity and 93.33% specificity. CONCLUSIONS The contribution fraction of each feeding artery of the AVM can be reliably estimated by using vessel-encoded pseudocontinuous arterial spin-labeling. Vessel-encoded pseudocontinuous arterial spin-labeling with either standard or relative labeling efficiencies offers a high level of diagnostic accuracy compared with DSA for identifying feeding arteries.

Abstract
SNRIs (serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors) have been proposed to exert increased therapeutic efficacy or be faster acting compared to commonly used antidepressants. In this study, we performed in vitro binding and uptake assays and in vivo behavioral tests to assess the pharmacological properties and antidepressant-like efficacy of the compound 071031B; we also performed cytotoxicity tests using HepG2 cells and SH-SY5Y cells to predict the toxicity of 071031B. In vitro, 071031B had high affinity for both serotonin transporters and norepinephrine transporters prepared from rat cortex tissue (Ki=2.68 and 1.09 nM, respectively) and recombinant cells (Ki=1.57 and 0.36 nM, respectively). Moreover, 071031B also potently inhibited the uptake of serotonin (5-HT) and norepinephrine (NE) into rat cortical synaptosomes (Ki=1.99 and 1.09 nM, respectively) and recombinant cells (Ki=3.23 and 0.79 nM, respectively). In vivo, acute administration of 071031B dose-dependently reduced the immobility time in the tail suspension test in mice and the forced swimming test in mice and rats with higher efficacy than duloxetine and showed no stimulatory effect on the locomotor activity. Chronic 071031B treatment (5 or 10mg/kg) significantly reversed depressive-like behaviors in chronically stressed rats, including reduced sucrose preference, decreased locomotor activity, and prolonged latency to begin eating. Furthermore, 071031B also exhibited lower cytotoxicity in HepG2 cells and SH-SY5Y cells in vitro than duloxetine. These findings suggest that 071031B is a novel, balanced serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor, with more potent antidepressant effects and lower hepatotoxicity and neurotoxicity in vitro than duloxetine.

Abstract
Two new steroidal glycosides, 1α,3α-dihydroxy-5β-pregn-16-en-20-one 3-O-α-L-rhamnopyranoside (1) and 1β,3β,27-trihydroxycholest-16-en-22-one 1,3-di-O-α-L-rhamnoside (2), along with seven known steroidal glycosides (3-9), were isolated from Reineckia carnea herba. Their structures were determined by detailed analysis of their 1D- and 2D-NMR and MS spectra. Compound 9 was isolated for the first time from the Reineckia genus. Except for 8, compounds 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 9 displayed clear in vitro antitussive activity.

Abstract
Depression is a severe mood disorder with increasing morbidity and suicidality, while the current therapy is not satisfactory. Serotonin and noradrenaline reuptake inhibitors (SNRIs) have been reported to have higher efficacy and/or faster acting rate than commonly used antidepressants. The present study was designed to screen the potential SNRIs, using in vitro radioligand receptor binding assays and in vivo animal tests, and introduced the discovery of 071031B. In the tail suspension test and forced swimming test in mice, six compounds (071017S, 071026W, 071031A, 071031B, 080307A and 080307B) showed robust antidepressant activity, without stimulant effect on the locomotor activity or other side effects, and the minimal effective dose of 071017S, 071026W, 071031A and 071031B was less than that of duloxetine; in vitro binding tests indicated that 071031B had high affinity to both serotonin transporter and noradrenaline transporter with similar inhibitory rates to duloxetine at 1 and 100 nM; acute toxicity test indicated that the LD50 value of 071031B was similar to that of duloxetine. These findings demonstrated that this integrated system, combining high throughput screening technology and in vivo animal tests, is effective to screen potential monoamine reuptake inhibitors fast and accurately; 071031B is expected to be a novel serotonin and noradrenaline reuptake inhibitor for its robust antidepressant activity and transporter affinity.

Abstract
Six cardenolides were isolated from the anti-tumor active fraction of the 75% ethanol extract of Streptocaulon juventas (Asclepiadaceae), mainly found in southwest of China. These were named 1α, 14β-dihydroxy-5β-card-20 (22)-enolide 3-O-[O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1→2)-β-D-digitalopyranoside] (1), acovenosigenin A 3-O-[O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1→4)-β-D-digitalopyranoside] (2), 16-O-acetyl-hydroxyperiplogenin 3-O-β-D-digitoxopyranoside (3), digitoxigenin 3-O-[O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1→6)-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1→4)-2-O-acetyl-β-D-digitalopyranoside] (4), 16-O-acetyl-hydroxyacovenosigenin (5), 1β, 3β, 14β-trihydroxy-5β-card-16, 20 (22)-dienolide (6), together with 18 known ones, most of which had never been reported in the species beforehand. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic studies and comparison with reference. Eighteen compounds were evaluated for their cytotoxicity against human lung A549 adenocarcinoma cell lines.

Abstract
BACKGROUND It was reported that the nuclear receptor coactivator amplified in breast cancer1 (AIB1) could regulate cancer cell invasion and migration in a nuclear receptor signaling-independent manner. Meanwhile, the process of epithelial mesenchymal transition (EMT) is critical for tumor invasion and metastasis. The present study aimed to determine the role of AIB1 and EMT markers in human pancreatic adenocarcinoma. METHODS AIB1, ZO-1, E-cadherin, vimentin, and N-cadherin protein expression in 76 pancreatic adenocarcinomas were assessed using immunohistochemistry and analyzed for clinicopathological significance. RESULTS The frequency of AIB1 overexpression in pancreatic adenocarcinomas with lymph node metastasis is 68 % (19/28), which is significantly higher than in pancreatic adenocarcinomas without lymph node metastasis (42 %; 20/48). In addition, the frequency of low expression of E-cadherin in pancreatic carcinomas with lymph node metastasis (68 %; 19/28) was significantly higher than in tumors without lymph node metastasis (44 %; 21/48). Correlation analysis demonstrated that the overexpression of AIB1 was inversely correlated with low expression of E-cadherin in pancreatic adenocarcinomas. CONCLUSION Overexpression of AIB1 might promote invasion and metastasis of cancer cells and is associated with down-regulation of E-cadherin in pancreatic adenocarcinomas.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To investigate the effect of platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) on human gingival fibroblasts (HGF) biological behavior such as proliferation, migration and collagen-I expression. METHODS Human healthy gingival tissues were cultured according to the explant technique to obtain primary cultures. PRF was prepared by means of Choukroun's. HGF were co-cultured with PRF membrane originating from the same donor as the explants, divided into three groups, PRF1 group, PRF2 group and blank control group. Methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium (MTT) assay was used for cytotoxicity and cell proliferation study, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) for collagen-I (COL-I) secretion study at the 1st, 3rd, 5th day respectively. Eluates from PRF membrane was prepared, and divided into three groups, PRF1 group, PRF2 group and blank control group. Transwell chamber was utilized to determine the effect of PRF membrane eluate on cell migration. RESULTS The A values of HGF in culture of the PRF1 (0.615 ± 0.036, 0.686 ± 0.006, 0.693 ± 0.004) and PRF2 groups (0.653 ± 0.023, 0.766 ± 0.034, 0.775 ± 0.053) were significantly higher than those of the control cultures (0.514 ± 0.020, 0.544 ± 0.006, 0.545 ± 0.009) (P < 0.01), but the difference between PRF1 and PRF2 group was not significant (P > 0.05). In each group at different time points, the HGF proliferation effect was significantly enhanced with time (P < 0.01). Cell migration test showed that the migration numbers of HGF in PRF1 and PRF2 groups (85.67 ± 2.94, 85.83 ± 1.47) were significantly higher than those of the control group (54.17 ± 2.48) (P < 0.01), but the difference between the two experimental groups was not significant (P > 0.05). COL-I secretion test exhibited that the A values of COL-I in PRF1 (0.184 ± 0.004, 0.200 ± 0.004, 0.204 ± 0.009) and PRF2 group (0.213 ± 0.008, 0.226 ± 0.005, 0.229 ± 0.006) were significantly higher than the A values of the control group (0.174 ± 0.002, 0.184 ± 0.002, 0.186 ± 0.003) (P < 0.01), but the difference between the two experimental groups was not significant (P > 0.05). In each group, the secretion level of COL-I increased significantly with time (P < 0.01). CONCLUSIONS PRF could exert a positive effect on HGF biological behaviour and had clinical application potential in the treatment of gingival recession and in the periodontal tissue engineering when combined with seed cell HGF.

Abstract
Chemical investigation on the 75% ethanol extract of the roots of Streptocaulon juventas afforded two new cardiac glycosides, digitoxigenin 3-O-[O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1 → 4)-2-O-acetyl-β-D-digitalopyranoside] (1) and periplogenin 3-O-[O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1 → 4)-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-(1 → 4)-β-D-cymaropyranoside] (2), and thirteen known cardenolides. Structures were elucidated by spectral methods. This is the first report of the isolation of compounds 3, 10, 14, and 15 from plants of the Streptocaulon genus, while 4, 11, and 12 are hitherto unreported from Streptocaulon juventas. All the compounds were in vitro evaluated for their cytotoxic activities against the A549 cell line, and seven effective cardiac glycosides were screened against the PC-9 cell line by WST assay, which also showed strong antiproliferation activities. Moreover, the characteristic morphological changes in PC-9 cells treated with cardenolides indicated cell inhibition due to apoptosis. These results revealed that these compounds possessed potential antitumor activities.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Renal aquaporins (AQP1-4) concentration is downregulated and is in proportion to the degree of hydronephrosis graded by ultrasound in pediatric congenital hydronephrosis (CH). However, the relationship between the expression of AQP1-4 with the changes of renal function impairment (RFI) evaluated by (99m)Tc-DTPA renal dynamic imaging is still unclear. This study aimed to investigate the relationship between AQP1-4 expression and degree of RFI in children with CH. METHODS The expression of AQP1-4 was evaluated in 45 children with unilateral ureteropelvic junction obstruction (28 boys and 17 girls, average age: 28±10 months) and 15 children undergoing nephrectomy for nephroblastoma (8 boys and 7 girls, average age: 26±8 months) by immunoblotting and immunohistochemistry. Renal function was graded into mild and severe RFI by (99m)Tc-DTPA renal dynamic imaging. RESULTS One-way analysis of variance with Bonferonni's correction showed a significantly reduced protein expression of AQP1-4 in the severe RFI group compared with those in both mild RFI group and controls (AQP1: 0.52±0.09 vs. 0.91±0.06 vs. 1.23±0.033; AQP2: 0.68±0.12 vs. 1.09±0.06 vs. 1.52±0.08; AQP3: 0.59±0.16 vs. 0.94±0.08 vs. 1.31±0.07; AQP4: 0.64±0.06 vs. 1.14±0.07 vs. 1.61±0.07; P<0.001, respectively). In kidneys with severe RFI, there was a reduction in the protein concentration of all four AQP isoforms which was more pronounced compared with those seen in kidneys with mild RFI and in the controls. CONCLUSION AQP1-4 expression is reduced in proportion with the impairment degree of renal function graded by (99m)Tc-DTPA renal dynamic imaging in human CH.

Abstract
In many recent studies, the inhibitory transmitter gamma-aminobutyric acid has been shown to modulate the proliferation, differentiation and survival of neural stem cells. Most general anesthetics are partial or allosteric gamma-aminobutyric acid A receptor agonists, suggesting that general anesthetics could alter the behavior of neural stem cells. The neuroprotective efficacy of general anesthetics has been recognized for decades, but their effects on the proliferation of neural stem cells have received little attention. This study investigated the potential effect of midazolam, an extensively used general anesthetic and allosteric gamma-aminobutyric acid A receptor agonist, on the proliferation of neural stem cells in vitro and preliminarily explored the underlying mechanism. The proliferation of neural stem cells was tested using both Cell Counting Kit 8 and bromodeoxyuridine incorporation experiments. Cell distribution analysis was performed to describe changes in the cell cycle distribution in response to midazolam. Calcium imaging was employed to explore the molecular signaling pathways activated by midazolam. Midazolam (30–90 μM) decreased the proliferation of neural stem cells in vitro. Pretreatment with the gamma-aminobutyric acid A receptor antagonist bicuculline or Na-K-2Cl cotransport inhibitor furosemide partially rescued this inhibition. In addition, midazolam triggered a calcium influx into neural stem cells. The suppressive effect of midazolam on the proliferation of neural stem cells can be partly attributed to the activation of gamma-aminobutyric acid A receptor. The calcium influx triggered by midazolam may be a trigger factor leading to further downstream events.

Abstract
In recent years, biocatalysis has started to provide an important green tool in synthetic organic chemistry. Currently, the idea of using multi-enzymatic systems for industrial production of chemical compounds becomes increasingly attractive. Recent examples demonstrate the potential of enzymatic synthesis and fermentation as an alternative to chemical-catalysis for the production of pharmaceuticals and fine chemicals. In particular, the use of multiple enzymes is of special interest. However, many challenges remain in the scale-up of a multi-enzymatic system. This review summarizes and discusses the technology options and strategies that are available for the development of multi-enzymatic processes. Some engineering tools, including kinetic models and operating windows, for developing and evaluating such processes are also introduced.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Wilms' tumor (nephroblastoma) is a cancer of the kidneys that occurs typically in children and rarely in adults. Early diagnosis is very important for the treatment and prognosis of the disease. The aim of our study was to discover and identify potential non-invasive and convenient biomarkers for the diagnosis of Wilms' tumor. METHODS Nude mice were used to construct a Wilms' tumor model by injecting nephroblastoma cells into their bilateral abdomen. We collected 94 serum samples from mice consisting of 45 samples with Wilms' tumor and 49 controls. The serum proteomic profiles of the samples were analyzed via surface-enhanced laser desorption/ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry. The candidate biomarkers were purified by high-performance liquid chromatography, identified by liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry, and validated using ProteinChip immunoassays. RESULTS We finally retrieved two differential proteins (m/z 4509.2; 6207.9), which were identified as apolipoprotein A-II and polyubiquitin, respectively. The expression of apolipoprotein A-II was higher in the Wilms' tumor group than in the control group (P < 0.01). By contrast, the expression of polyubiquitin was lower in the Wilms' tumor group than in the control group. CONCLUSION Apolipoprotein A-II and polyubiquitin may be used as potential biomarkers for nephroblastoma in children, and the analysis of apolipoprotein A-II may help diagnose and treat Wilms' tumor.
