Abstract
Cystic lymphangiomas are benign malformative tumors of the lymphatic vessels, rare but potentially serious and usually located in the cervical region. The diagnosis is usually easy, but the treatment is sometimes difficult because of their location and extension into the surrounding tissue. We report a case of giant cystic lymphangioma of the right axillary-thoracic wall diagnosed by prenatal ultrasound at 20 weeks gestation. The male infant was born at 37 weeks gestation with a large, swelling, lateral parietal right chest. Ultrasound soft tissue and chest CT scan confirmed the diagnosis of giant cystic lymphangioma of the right axillary-thoracic wall. Surgical excision was performed on the 21st day after birth and the mass was excised incompletely. The postoperative course was uncomplicated. Ultrasound soft tissue follow-up showed the persistence of multiple cystic structures in the axilla. Prenatal diagnosis of these tumors is essential for planning multidisciplinary management in early postnatal care.

Abstract
We evaluated the metabolic and the nutritional aspects of 134 urolithiasis children in order to outline the characteristics of idiopathic urolithiasis in children. This prospective study group of 134 children (56 females, 78 males) with renal calculi was evaluated. The age range of the patients was six months to 16 years. A dietary survey was performed on every child. All patients were investigated with respect to stone localization and serum and urine risk factors. Statistical analysis of data was carried out using software SPSS 11.0 for Windows. Hypercalciuria was the most common risk factor detected in this group (28.3%). A decrease of water intake was noted in all age groups, especially in the rural area (549.6 mL/day vs. 1150.6 mL/day), and there was an increase in animal protein intake in 17 cases (mean: 1.9 g/kg). In addition, increased intake of starchy foods and food with high oxalate content (sorgum) were detected in the ten to 16 years age group (51%) of our study. Calcium oxalate monohydrate represents the principal component of idiopathic stone (58.2%), which is more frequent in children (68%) than in infants (51.7%) (P <0.02). The major etiology of idiopathic urolithiasis highlights the influence of dietary habit in stone formers in our country. The increased occurrence of calcium oxalate stones in school age children confirms the change in the etiology of urolithiasis according to age.

Abstract
Teratomas are unusual tumors derived from all 3 germs cells layers: endoderm, mesoderm, and ectoderm, with varying proportions. The cervical area is exceptionally affected. We report 4 cases of cervical teratoma. The clinically and radiologically suggested diagnosis was confirmed by histology. We describe herein the main clinical, radiological, and histological aspects and outcomes of this disease. Despite its most often benign histologic nature, cervical teratoma may threaten newborn infants' life due to airway compression. A multidisciplinary approach to the disease starting at delivery is required to improve the prognosis.

Abstract
UNLABELLED Esophageal stricture is a rare but often severe complication of recessive dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa in children. The purpose of the study was to review this digestive complication with emphasis on diagnostic modalities and therapeutic management. PATIENTS AND METHODS This was a retrospective study of two pediatric cases of esophageal stenosis that occurred during generalized recessive dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa of the Hallopeau-Siemens type. RESULTS The 2 patients were aged 8 years 8 months and 11 years 5 months, respectively. Dysphagia was of early onset, before the age of 10 years in both cases. Esophageal opacification led to the diagnosis of esophageal stenosis located in the upper 1/3 of the esophagus in 1 case and at the junction between the middle and the lower 1/3 of the esophagus in the other case. None of the 2 patients received medical treatment, and pneumatic dilation was the treatment method that was advocated. Esophageal endoscopy showed the stenosis and helped guide the positioning of the balloon catheter. These patients underwent 2 and 3 sessions of dilation, respectively, at intervals of 2 months and 1 year. Balloon dilation has allowed the patients to have a more comfortable life with decreased dysphagia and a substantial improvement in nutritional status. However, this improvement was transient (1 patient had symptomatic recurrence of stenosis after 3 years), which shows that monitoring of the patients and the resumption of dilatation sessions may be necessary. CONCLUSION Esophageal strictures in dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa of the Hallopeau-Simens type are severe and difficult to support. Pneumatic dilatation is the treatment of choice for the fragile esophagus. It gives satisfactory results and can be repeated without significant risk.

Abstract
In this study the intensity of expression of major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class I and II antigens, adhesion molecule i.e. ICAM-1, epidermal growth factor receptor i.e. EGFr, T cell marker and cytokeratin were compared in oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) and in the benign ameloblastoma of the jaws. The results showed that: a) There was strong expression of both monomorphic and of polymorphic class I MHC antigens (90% of cases) in both basal and suprabasal cells of controls from normal mucose. b) Whereas up to 4% of OSCCs and 27% of ameloblastomas showed complete loss of monomorphic class I antigens, the frequency of polymorphic class I abnormalities was even more marked in both tumour types. c) Strong expression of class II MHC antigens and of ECFr was observed in the basal cells of most normal controls. d) Both class II (50% of cases) and ICAM-1 (30% of cases) showed strong expression in OSCC but not in ameloblastoma. The statistical values between OSCC and normal basal cells for class II and ICAM-1 were not significant whilst the corresponding values for OSCC compared with ameloblastoma were p<0.001 and p<0.001. In the case of OSCC, there were a large number of infiltrating T cells expressing activation marker i.e. class II antigen. e) Strong expression of EGFr was seen in more than 90% of the OSCC cases compared with only 16% of ameloblastomas (0.01<p>0.001). Our working hypothesis to explain these abnormalities is that although both tumour types (more so in the case of ameloblastoma) have in place an escape mechanism from the immune system, the overexpression of EGFr in OSCC may in part be responsible for the more aggressive behaviour of the malignancy compared with the locally invasive but benign ameloblastoma.
