Abstract
Chromosome visualization is a key step for developing cytogenetic maps and idiograms, analyzing inversion polymorphisms, and identifying mosquito species. Three types of chromosomes-polytene, mitotic, and meiotic-are used in cytogenetic studies of mosquitoes. Here, we describe a detailed method for obtaining high-quality polytene chromosome preparations from the salivary glands of larvae and the ovaries of females for Anopheles mosquitoes. We also describe how to obtain mitotic chromosomes from imaginal discs of fourth-instar larvae and meiotic chromosomes from the testes of male pupae for all mosquitoes. These chromosomes can be used for fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH), a fundamental technique in cytogenetic research that is used for physical genome mapping, detecting chromosomal rearrangements, and studying chromosome organization.

Abstract
Mosquitoes are vectors of dangerous human diseases such as malaria, dengue, Zika, West Nile fever, and lymphatic filariasis. Visualization of the linear and spatial organization of mosquito chromosomes is important for understanding genome structure and function. Utilization of chromosomal inversions as markers for population genetics studies yields insights into mosquito adaptation and evolution. Cytogenetic approaches assist with the development of chromosome-scale genome assemblies that are useful tools for studying mosquito biology and for designing novel vector control strategies. Fluorescence in situ hybridization is a powerful technique for localizing specific DNA sequences within the linear chromosome structure and within the spatial organization of the cell nucleus. Here, we introduce protocols used in our laboratories for chromosome visualization and their application in mosquitoes.

Abstract
Chromosomes are intricately folded within the cell nucleus and interact with peripheral nuclear proteins. The chromatin architecture has a profound effect on how the genome is organized. 3D-FISH is a powerful technique that can reveal the structural and functional organization of chromosomes in the nuclear space. Here, we present a protocol for visualizing specific genomic regions in whole-mount paraformaldehyde-fixed cell nuclei of Anopheles mosquitoes. This protocol was tested in our laboratories and has been showed to be effective and reliable for visualizing genomic regions of various lengths-from 1-kb gene-scale fragments to chromosome-scale segments of DNA.

Abstract
Objective: To analyze the proportion and clinical characteristics of underdiagnosed zonulopathy in angle closure glaucoma (ACG) patients and to explore the related risk factors. Methods: Case-control study. Continuous cases of ACG patients who underwent phacoemulsification combined with intraocular lens implantation and goniosynechialysis surgery [ACG group, including acute angle closure glaucoma (AACG) and chronic angle closure glaucoma (CACG)] from November 1, 2020 to October 31, 2021 and age-related cataract patients who underwent phacoemulsification combined with intraocular lens implantation surgery in the same period (control group) were included. The diagnosis of zonulopathy was determined according to the intraoperative signs such as wrinkles of the anterior capsule during continuous circular capsulorhexis. The proportion of zonulopathy, preoperative diagnosis rate of zonulopathy, demographic characteristics, anterior chamber depth (ACD), axis length, difference of ACD in both eyes (ACD of the contralateral eye minus ACD of the operated eye) were compared between the two groups. The related risk factors were explored. The paired t-test (comparison between two groups of normally distributed data), non-parametric test (comparison between two groups of non-normally distributed data), Chi-square test (categorical variables), univariate and multivariate logistic regression analysis were used. Results: There were 104 ACG patients (104 eyes), including 63 AACG patients (63 eyes) and 41 CACG patients (41 eyes), and 117 controls (117 eyes). There was no significant difference in age (P=0.29) and gender (P=0.07) between the two groups. The ACG group had shallower anterior chamber (P<0.001), shorter axial length (P<0.001) and more ACD difference in both eyes (P<0.001). In the ACG group, the proportion of zonulopathy was 46.2% (48/104), which was significantly higher than that (6.0%, 7/117) in the control group (P<0.001). In the control group, only zonular laxity was found, while in the ACG group, besides the predominant zonular laxity (68.8%, 33/48), there was zonular dehiscence (31.3%, 15/48). The eyes with AACG (57.1%, 36/63) had a higher proportion of zonulopathy than those with CACG (29.3%, 12/41) (P=0.006). In the ACG group, only 14 cases (29.8%) were diagnosed preoperatively according to slit lamp examination and/or ultrasound biomicroscopy. The proportion of underdiagnosed zonulopathy was 70.8% in the ACG group (34/48). A smaller ACD was found to be related to the zonulopathy in the ACG group. All AACG cases with an ACD ≤2.0 mm and CACG cases with an ACD ≤1.9 mm had zonulopathy. Multivariate logistic regression showed that the ACD difference in both eyes (P=0.025) and the diagnosis of ACG (AACG vs. cataract, P<0.001; CACG vs. cataract, P=0.023) were independent risk factors associated with zonulopathy. Conclusions: The proportion of underdiagnosed zonulopathy among ACG patients is high. Better preoperative diagnostic methods for zonulopathy are needed. Zonulopathy is common in ACG patients, especially in AACG patients, suggesting that zonulopathy may be related to the pathogenesis of ACG. The shallower the ACD, the riskier the zonulopathy. ACD differences between two eyes and ACG types (including AACG and CACG) were related risk factors of zonulopathy.(This article was published ahead of print on the Online-First Publishing Platform for Excellent Scientific Researches of Chinese Medical Association Publishing House on March 11, 2022).

Abstract
The β-delayed one- and two-neutron emission probabilities (P_{1n} and P_{2n}) of 20 neutron-rich nuclei with N≥82 have been measured at the RIBF facility of the RIKEN Nishina Center. P_{1n} of ^{130,131}Ag, ^{133,134}Cd, ^{135,136}In, and ^{138,139}Sn were determined for the first time, and stringent upper limits were placed on P_{2n} for nearly all cases. β-delayed two-neutron emission (β2n) was unambiguously identified in ^{133}Cd and ^{135,136}In, and their P_{2n} were measured. Weak β2n was also detected from ^{137,138}Sn. Our results highlight the effect of the N=82 and Z=50 shell closures on β-delayed neutron emission probability and provide stringent benchmarks for newly developed macroscopic-microscopic and self-consistent global models with the inclusion of a statistical treatment of neutron and γ emission. The impact of our measurements on r-process nucleosynthesis was studied in a neutron star merger scenario. Our P_{1n} and P_{2n} have a direct impact on the odd-even staggering of the final abundance, improving the agreement between calculated and observed Solar System abundances. The odd isotope fraction of Ba in r-process-enhanced (r-II) stars is also better reproduced using our new data.

Abstract
We have performed the first direct measurement of two resonances of the ^{7}Be(α,γ)^{11}C reaction with unknown strengths using an intense radioactive ^{7}Be beam and the DRAGON recoil separator. We report on the first measurement of the 1155 and 1110 keV resonance strengths of 1.73±0.25(stat)±0.40(syst) eV and 125_{-25}^{+27}(stat)±15(syst) meV, respectively. The present results have reduced the uncertainty in the ^{7}Be(α,γ)^{11}C reaction rate to ∼9.4%-10.7% over T=1.5-3 GK, which is relevant for nucleosynthesis in the neutrino-driven outflows of core-collapse supernovae (νp process). We find no effect of the new, constrained reaction rate on νp-process nucleosynthesis.

Abstract
Abstract
Background
Life expectancies for patients with congenital heart disease (CHD) have dramatically increased in recent years, accompanied by a rise in atrial fibrillation (AF) prevalence. Data on AF ablation strategy and outcomes are limited in CHD.
Purpose
We aimed to investigate the characteristics of CHD patients presenting for AF ablation and their outcomes.
Methods
A multicenter, retrospective analysis was performed of CHD patients undergoing AF ablation between 2004 and 2020 at 13 participating centers. The severity of CHD was classified using the 2014 PACES/HRS guidelines. Clinical data were collected including ablation strategy and follow up. One-year procedural success was defined as freedom from AF in the absence of antiarrhythmic drugs (AADs, complete) or including previously failed AADs (partial).
Results
Of 240 patients, 127 (53.4%) had persistent AF, 62.5% were male, and mean age was 55.2±0.9 years. CHD complexity categories included 147 (61.3%) simple, 69 (28.8%) intermediate and 25 (10.4%) severe. The most common CHD type was atrial septal defect (n=78). More complex CHD conditions included transposition of the great arteries (n=14), anomalous pulmonary veins (n=13), tetralogy of Fallot (n=8), cor triatriatum (n=7), single ventricle physiology (n=2), among others. The majority (71.3%) of patients had AF despite at least one AAD. 46 patients (22.1%) had a reduced systemic ventricular ejection fraction <50%, and the mean left atrial diameter was 44.1±0.7 mm. PV isolation (PVI) was performed in 227 patients (94.6%); additional ablation strategies included left atrial linear ablations (25.4%), CFAE (19.2%), and cavotricuspid isthmus ablation (40.8). One-year complete and partial success rates were 45.0% and 20.5%, respectively, with no significant difference in the rate of complete success between complexity groups. Overall, 38 patients (15.8%) required more than one ablation procedure. There were 3 (1.3%) major and 13 (5.4%) minor procedural complications.
Conclusion
AF ablation in this complex population was safe and resulted in AF control in the majority of patients. Future work should address the most appropriate ablation targets in the challenging population.

Abstract
BACKGROUND The staging of nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) is of great value in treatment and prognosis. We explored whether a positron emission tomography/ magnetic resonance imaging (PET/MRI) based comprehensive model of radiomics features and semiquantitative parameters was useful for clinical evaluation of NPC staging. MATERIALS AND METHODS A total of 100 NPC patients diagnosed with non-keratinized undifferentiated carcinoma were divided into early-stage group (I-II) and advanced-stage group (III-IV) and divided into the training set (n = 70) and the testing set (n = 30). Radiomics features (n = 396 × 2) of the primary site of NPC were extracted from MRI and PET images, respectively. Three major semiquantitative parameters of primary sites including maximum standardized uptake value (SUVmax), metabolic tumor volume (MTV), and total lesion glycolysis (TLG) in all NPC patients were measured. After feature selection, three diagnostic models including the radiomics model, the metabolic parameter model, and the combined model were established using logistic regression model. Finally, internal validation was performed, and a nomogram for NPC comprehensive diagnosis has been made. RESULTS The radiomics model and metabolic parameter model showed an area under the curve (AUC) of 0.83 and 0.80 in the testing set, respectively. The combined model based on radiomics and semiquantitative parameters showed an AUC of 0.90 in the testing set, with the best performance among the three models. CONCLUSION The combined model based on PET/MRI radiomics and semiquantitative parameters is of great value in the evaluation of clinical stage (early-stage group and advanced-stage group) of NPC.

Abstract
Objective This study aimed to study the diagnostic efficacy of positron emission tomography (PET)/magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT) and clinical metabolic parameters in predicting the histological classification of lung adenocarcinoma (ADC) and squamous cell carcinoma (SCC). Methods PET/MRI, CT and clinical metabolic data of 80 patients with lung ADC or SCC were retrospectively collected. According to the pathological results from surgery or fiberscopy, the patients were diagnosed with lung ADC (47 cases) or SCC (33 cases). All 80 patients were divided into a training group (64 cases), an internal testing group (8 cases) and an external testing group (8 cases) in the ratio of 8:1:1. Nine models were constructed by integrating features from different modalities. The Gaussian classifier was used to differentiate ADC and SCC. The prediction ability was evaluated using the receiver operating characteristic curve. The area under the curve (AUC) of the models was compared using Delong’s test. Based on the best composite model, a nomogram was established and evaluated with a calibration curve, decision curve and clinical impact curve. Results The composite model (PET/MRI + CT + Clinical) owned the highest AUC values in the training, internal testing and external testing sets, respectively. In the training set, significant differences in the AUC were found between the composite model and other models except for the PET/MRI + CT model. The calibration curves showed good consistency between the predicted output and actual disease. The decision curve analysis and clinical impact curves demonstrated that the composite model increased the clinical net benefit for predicting lung cancer subtypes. Conclusion The composite prediction model of PET/MRI + CT + Clinical better distinguished ADC from SCC pathological subtypes preoperatively and achieved clinical benefits, thus providing an accurate clinical diagnosis.

Abstract
Primary lymphoma in soft tissue is very rare. In order to understand the clinicopathological features of primary lymphoma in soft tissue, we found 13 cases (0.3%) of primary lymphoma in soft tissue by reviewing 4303 lymphomas diagnosed in our institution from 2010 to 2019. Tumors were found in the following sites: 8 in lower extremity (2 in leg, 1 in calf, 1 in knee and 4 in buttock), 1 in upper extremity (left shoulder) and 4 in the trunk (3 in waist and 1 in thoracolumbar). The most common histologic type was DLBCL (7/13, 54.8%). 6 cases of which had follow-up information. 25 patients were also selected by screening the English literature search (from Jan 2010 to December 2019) including 1102 studies. Compared to the results of literature review, our results are similar with them. The tumor sites were as follows: 10 in lower extremity, 4 in upper extremity, 9 in the trunk and 2 in masticatory muscle. The most common histological type was also DLBCL (n=11/25, 44%). Overall survival analysis of all 31 patients including our 6 cases with primary lymphoma in soft tissue showed no significant difference between different histological type (Log Rank P=0.120, Breslow P=0.157). The differential diagnosis includes malignant melanoma, rhabdomyosarcoma and metastatic carcinoma in soft tissue.

Abstract
Osteoporosis is a bone disease characterized by low bone mineral density (BMD) and impaired bone microarchitecture due to the abnormal activity of osteoclasts. Cathelicidins are antimicrobial peptides present in the lysosomes of macrophages and polymorphonuclear leukocytes. LL-37, a cathelicidin, induces various biological effects, including modulation of the immune system, angiogenesis, wound healing, cancer growth, as well as inflammation, and bone loss. A previous study reported direct involvement of LL-37 suppressing osteoclastogenesis in humans. Here, we examined the role of LL-37 in the treatment of osteoporosis using an ovariectomy (OVX) rat model. Our results showed that LL-37 significantly reduced bone loss and pathological injury in OVX rats with osteoporosis. Furthermore, we found that LL-37 significantly increased the activity of the Wnt/beta-catenin pathway in OVX rats with osteoporosis, including the increased expression of beta-catenin, Osterix (Osx), and Runt-related transcription factor 2 (Runx2), whereas XAV-939, an inhibitor of the Wnt/beta-catenin pathway, significantly blocked the effects of LL-37 on bone loss and abnormal bone metabolism. Altogether, our findings suggested that LL-37 exerted a protective role in regulating bone loss and abnormal bone metabolism in rats with osteoporosis by activating the Wnt/beta-catenin pathway.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To investigate the influence of positioning accuracy of the multi-leaf collimators (MLC) on the passing rate of the plan dose verification for volumetric modulation arc therapy (VMAT) of cervical cancer using an Elekta linear accelerator. METHODS The dose distributions were measured using Sun Nuclear's Mapcheck and Arccheck semiconductors matrix before and after MLC calibration in30 cervical cancer patients undergoing VMAT. Dosimetric comparisons were performed with 2D and 3D gamma passing rates of 3%, 3 mm and 2%, and 2 mm. The 3D gamma distribution was reconstructed with respect to the patient's anatomy using 3DVH software to evaluate the possible influence of MLC positioning accuracy. RESULTS Before and after MLC calibration, the gamma passing rates of Mapcheck were (88.80±1.81)% and (99.25 ± 0.53)% under 3% and 3 mm standard, respectively, with an average increase of 10.45%. The corresponding gamma passing rates of Arccheck were (87.61±1.98)% and (98.13±0.99)%, respectively, with an average increase of 10.52%. The gamma passing rates of 3DVH were (89.87±2.28)% and (98.3±1.15)%, respectively, with an average increase of 8.43%. CONCLUSION The MLC positioning accuracy is one of the main factors influencing dosimetric accuracy of VMAT for cervical cancer. The application of Autocal software facilitates MLC calibration and improves the accuracy and safety of VMAT delivery for cervical cancer.

Abstract
Abstract
Study question
Does the Patient-Centred Questionnaire-Infertility (PCQ-Infertility) validate in China? Do patients experience different on patient-centredness in public fertility care compared to that in private fertility care?
Summary answer
PCQ-Infertility is valid in China. The patients in private fertility care have better experiences on patient-centredness than that in publicly fertility from results of PCQ-Infertility.
What is known already
Patient-centredness is one of the most important elements of quality of care. The PCQ-Infertility has validated to be a reliable tool to assess the extent of patient-centredness of fertility care in many countries, cross European counties to New Zealand. In China, physicians in many hospitals have recognized the importance of patient-centred infertility care, but lack of using instrument to measure it and then to improve it.
Study design, size, duration
This is a cross-sectional study. A survey with written questionnaire was performed among patients who diagnosed with infertility in Reproductive Medical Center of the First Affiliated Hospital of Hainan Medical University (publicly funded fertility care and Reproductive Medical Center of Hainan Modern Women and Children’s Hospital (private funded fertility care) between July and December 2021.
Participants/materials, setting, methods
In this study, 315 patients and 189 patients completed the survey at two reproductive medical centers. We used patient’s questionnaires to collect data on the patients’ experience with the quality of care. The PCQ-Infertility content, besides background questions, the questionnaire included 46 care aspects. Psychometric tests included inter-item and reliability analyses. An elaborate multivariate multilevel regression analysis was performed to assess the PCQs ability to measure differences in patient-centredness between reproductive medical centers.
Main results and the role of chance
The questionnaire was completed by 315 and 189 patients from the two hospitals. Patients’ mean scores on overall patient-centredness and the eight subscales (possible range 0–3) were calculated. High scores represent positive experiences with care. Both private and public hospitals scored high on care organization and communication. The lowest scores for both hospitals were the subscale, namely,‘information’. The significant differences between two hospitals were in “accessibility, respect for patient’s values, continuity and transition”.
Limitations, reasons for caution
This study is cross-sectional, the sample size is small, and enrolled fertility care centers are only two.
Wider implications of the findings
The PCQ-infertility is encouraged to be used in China to measure the patient-centredness, and can be adopted for quality improvement especially for publicly funded fertility care.

Abstract
We present the precision measurement of 2824 daily helium fluxes in cosmic rays from May 20, 2011 to October 29, 2019 in the rigidity interval from 1.71 to 100 GV based on 7.6×10^{8} helium nuclei collected with the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer (AMS) aboard the International Space Station. The helium flux and the helium to proton flux ratio exhibit variations on multiple timescales. In nearly all the time intervals from 2014 to 2018, we observed recurrent helium flux variations with a period of 27 days. Shorter periods of 9 days and 13.5 days are observed in 2016. The strength of all three periodicities changes with time and rigidity. In the entire time period, we found that below ∼7 GV the helium flux exhibits larger time variations than the proton flux, and above ∼7 GV the helium to proton flux ratio is time independent. Remarkably, below 2.4 GV a hysteresis between the helium to proton flux ratio and the helium flux was observed at greater than the 7σ level. This shows that at low rigidity the modulation of the helium to proton flux ratio is different before and after the solar maximum in 2014.

Abstract
Genes that originate during evolution are an important source of novel biological functions. Retrogenes are functional copies of genes produced by retroduplication and as such are located in different genomic positions. To investigate retroposition patterns and retrogene expression, we computationally identified interchromosomal retroduplication events in nine portions of the phylogenetic history of malaria mosquitoes, making use of species that do or do not have classical sex chromosomes to test the roles of sex-linkage. We found 40 interchromosomal events and a significant excess of retroduplications from the X chromosome to autosomes among a set of young retrogenes. These young retroposition events occurred within the last 100 million years in lineages where all species possessed differentiated sex chromosomes. An analysis of available microarray and RNA-seq expression data for Anopheles gambiae showed that many of the young retrogenes evolved male-biased expression in the reproductive organs. Young autosomal retrogenes with increased meiotic or postmeiotic expression in the testes tend to be male biased. In contrast, older retrogenes, i.e., in lineages with undifferentiated sex chromosomes, do not show this particular chromosomal bias and are enriched for female-biased expression in reproductive organs. Our reverse-transcription PCR data indicates that most of the youngest retrogenes, which originated within the last 47.6 million years in the subgenus Cellia, evolved non-uniform expression patterns across body parts in the males and females of An. coluzzii. Finally, gene annotation revealed that mitochondrial function is a prominent feature of the young autosomal retrogenes. We conclude that mRNA-mediated gene duplication has produced a set of genes that contribute to mosquito reproductive functions and that different biases are revealed after the sex chromosomes evolve. Overall, these results suggest potential roles for the evolution of meiotic sex chromosome inactivation in males and of sexually antagonistic conflict related to mitochondrial energy function as the main selective pressures for X-to-autosome gene reduplication and testis-biased expression in these mosquito lineages.

Abstract
AIMS Vascular tumors are composed of benign, intermediate, and malignant lesions. The diagnosis is challenging because some entities demonstrate overlapping morphologies and harbor the same genetic alterations. We describe herein a cohort of vascular tumors with clinicopathologic, immunohistochemical, and molecular features. METHODS AND RESULTS 118 vascular tumors including 56 angiosarcomas, 18 epithelioid haemangioendotheliomas (EHE), 25 epithelioid haemangiomas (EH), 8 pseudomyogenic haemangioendotheliomas (PHE), 1 papillary intralymphatic angioendothelioma (PILA), 2 kaposiform haemangioendotheliomas (KHE), 3 Kaposi sarcomas, 2 retiform haemangioendotheliomas (RHE), and 3 anastomosing haemangiomas were assessed. FOSB, c-Fos, CAMTA1, and TFE3 expression and gene rearrangements were analyzed by immunohistochemical staining and FISH, respectively. Our results showed that FOSB expression was diffusely positive in all 8 PHEs, focally or sparsely in 12 EHs, and in 2 angiosarcomas. C-FOS expression was sparsely to diffusely positive in 15 EHs, focally or sparsely in 17 angiosarcomas, 1 EHE, 1 Kaposi sarcoma, and 1 PHE. CAMTA1 expression was positive in only 12 EHEs. TFE3 expression was focally or sparsely positive in all 8 PHEs, 22 angiosarcomas, 6 EHEs, 3 EHs, 2 Kaposi sarcomas, and 2 AHs. FOSB rearrangement was found in 5 PHEs, FOS rearrangement only in 1 EH, CAMTA1 rearrangement in 4 EHEs. CONCLUSIONS FOSB and CAMTA1 are useful diagnostic markers for PHE and EHE, respectively. FOSB and FOS fusion represent a subset of epithelioid haemangioma. TFE3 is not a diagnostically meaningful marker in a majority of vascular tumors. The combined utility of these markers will facilitate the differential diagnosis in vascular tumors with morphologic overlap.

Abstract
The ^{30}P(p,γ)^{31}S reaction plays an important role in understanding the nucleosynthesis of A≥30 nuclides in oxygen-neon novae. The Gaseous Detector with Germanium Tagging was used to measure ^{31}Cl β-delayed proton decay through the key J^{π}=3/2^{+}, 260-keV resonance. The intensity I_{βp}^{260}=8.3_{-0.9}^{+1.2}×10^{-6} represents the weakest β-delayed, charged-particle emission ever measured below 400 keV, resulting in a proton branching ratio of Γ_{p}/Γ=2.5_{-0.3}^{+0.4}×10^{-4}. By combining this measurement with shell-model calculations for Γ_{γ} and past work on other resonances, the total ^{30}P(p,γ)^{31}S rate has been determined with reduced uncertainty. The new rate has been used in hydrodynamic simulations to model the composition of nova ejecta, leading to a concrete prediction of ^{30}Si:^{28}Si excesses in presolar nova grains and the calibration of nuclear thermometers.

Abstract
Background Programmed Cell Death 2 Like (PDCD2L) correlates with cell proliferation, apoptosis and mouse embryonic development. However, the role of PDCD2L in human cancers is unclear. Methods Multiple bioinformatic methods, in vitro function experiments and validation were performed to clarify the oncogenic role of PDCD2L in human cancers. Results Our study found that PDCD2L was aberrantly expressed in multiple types of human cancers, and associated with clinical stage and molecular subtype. Furthermore, overexpression of PDCD2L predicted poor overall survival in adrenocortical carcinoma(ACC), kidney chromophobe(KICH), acute myeloid leukemia(LAML), brain lower grade glioma(LGG),liver hepatocellular carcinoma(LIHC), mesothelioma(MESO), uveal melanoma(UVM) and poor diseases free survival in ACC, bladder urothelial carcinoma(BLCA), cervical squamous cell carcinoma and endocervical adenocarcinoma (CESC), kidney renal clear cell carcinoma(KIRC), kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma(KIRP), LGG, LIHC, and UVM. PDCD2L expression was negatively associated with cancer associated fibroblast in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), sarcoma (SARC), stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD) and testicular germ cell tumors (TGCT). Mechanically, we found that PDCD2L expression was associated with apoptosis, invasion and cell cycle by investigating single cell sequencing data. For further validation, PDCD2Lwas highly expressed in colorectal cancer (CRC) cell lines and tissue samples compared with the normal colon cell line and non-tumor adjacent colorectal mucosa tissues. PDCD2L knockdown induced the apoptosis and proliferation of CRC cells. Conclusions Our study shows that the oncogenic role of PDCD2L in various cancers and PDCD2L could be served as a biomarker of CRC.
