Abstract
BACKGROUND Identifying valid biomarkers for patient selection impressively promotes the success of anti-PD-1 therapy. However, the unmet need for biomarkers in gastrointestinal (GI) cancers remains significant. We aimed to explore the predictive value of the circulating T-cell receptor (TCR) repertoire for clinical outcomes in GI cancers who received anti-PD-1 therapy. METHODS 137 pre- and 79 post-treated peripheral blood samples were included. The TCR repertoire was evaluated by sequencing of complementarity-determining region 3 (CDR3) in the TRB gene. The Shannon index was used to measure the diversity of the TCR repertoire, and Morisita's overlap index was used to determine TCR repertoire similarities between pre- and post-treated samples. RESULTS Among all enrolled patients, 76 received anti-PD-1 monotherapy and 61 received anti-PD-1 combination therapy. In the anti-PD-1 monotherapy cohort, patients with higher baseline TCR diversity exhibited a significantly higher disease control rate (77.8% vs. 47.2%; hazard ratio [HR] 3.92; 95% confidence interval [CI] 1.14-13.48; P = 0.030) and a longer progression-free survival (PFS) (median: 6.47 months vs. 2.77 months; HR 2.10; 95% CI 1.16-3.79; P = 0.014) and overall survival (OS) (median: NA vs. 8.97 months; HR 3.53; 95% CI 1.49-8.38; P = 0.004) than those with lower diversity. Moreover, patients with a higher TCR repertoire similarity still showed a superior PFS (4.43 months vs. 1.84 months; HR 13.98; 95% CI 4.37-44.68; P < 0.001) and OS (13.40 months vs. 6.12 months; HR 2.93; 95% CI 1.22-7.03; P = 0.016) even in the cohort with lower baseline diversity. However, neither biomarker showed predictive value in the anti-PD-1 combination therapy cohort. Interestingly, the combination of TCR diversity and PD-L1 expression can facilitate patient stratification in a pooled cohort. CONCLUSION The circulating TCR repertoire can serve as a predictor of clinical outcomes in anti-PD-1 therapy in GI cancers.

Abstract
Animals living in urban river systems play critical roles in the dissemination of microbiome and antibiotic resistance that poses a strong threat to public health. This study provides a comprehensive profile of microbiota and antibiotic resistance genes (ARGs) of sharpbelly (Hemiculter leucisculus) and the surrounding water from five sites along the Ba River. Results showed Proteobacteria, Firmicutes and Fusobacteria were the dominant bacteria in gut of H. leucisculus. With the aggravation of water pollution, bacterial biomass of fish gut significantly decreased and the proportion of Proteobacteria increased to become the most dominant phylum eventually. To quantify the contributions of influential factors on patterns of gut microbiome with structural equation model (SEM), water bacteria were confirmed to be the most stressors to perturb fish gut microbiome. SourceTracker model indicated that deteriorating living surroundings facilitated the invasion of water pathogens to fish gut eco-environments. Additionally, H. leucisculus gut is an important reservoir of ARGs in Ba River with relative abundance up to 9.86 × 10-1/copies. Among the ARGs, tetracycline and quinolone resistance genes were detected in dominant abundance. Deterioration of external environments elicited the accumulation of ARGs in fish gut. Intestinal class I integron, environmental heavy metal residues and gut bacteria were identified as key drivers of intestinal ARGs profiles in H. leucisculus. Analysis of SEM and co-occurrence patterns between ARGs and bacterial hosts indicated that class I integron and bacterial community played vital roles in ARGs transmission through water-fish pathway. In general, this study highlighted hazards of water contamination to microbiome and ARGs in aquatic animals and provided a new perspective to better understand the bacteria and ARGs dissemination in urban river ecosystems.

Abstract
AIM To investigate the pulmonary phenotype of mild-to-moderate chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) using quantitative computed tomography CT analysis techniques. MATERIALS AND METHODS Sixty-three patients with stable-phase mild-to-moderate COPD and 78 healthy controls, categorised as those aged <60 (28 and 40 patients, respectively) and ≥60 years (35 and 38, respectively), underwent chest low-dose respiratory dual-phase CT and pulmonary function test. Automatic software was used to measure the proximal airway parameters, and the emphysema and air-trapping indices were recorded. The intergroup differences in each parameter were assessed by one-way analysis of variance. RESULTS At <60 years of age, the mean Pi10WA (Wall area of a hypothetical airway with an internal perimeter of 10 mm) was greater in the mild-to-moderate COPD group than in the healthy control group (17.04 ± 1.63 versus 16.03 ± 1.16 mm2; p=0.004). Mild or moderate air-trapping was observed in the mild-to-moderate COPD group aged <60 years. There was no significant difference in the proximal airway parameters and inspiratory VI-950 (percent voxels less than -950 HU) between the two groups at age ≥60 years (all p>0.05); however, the expiratory VI-856 (percent voxels less than -856 HU) and mean lung density expiratory/inspiratory ratio (MLDE/I) were higher in the mild-to-moderate COPD group than those in the healthy control group (26.02 [30.23] versus 6.45 [11.16]; 0.88 ± 0.05 versus 0.84 ± 0.04; p<0.001 and p=0.024). CONCLUSION For patients with mild-to-moderate COPD, the CT phenotype was predominantly the "airway remodelling" type at <60 years of age, and the "air-trapping" type at ≥60 years of age. Thus, pulmonary CT phenotypes of mild-to-moderate COPD patients of different age groups are different.

Abstract
This pilot and feasibility study evaluated wrist-worn accelerometers to measure recovery from day-case surgery in comparison with daily quality of recovery-15 scores. The protocol was designed with extensive patient and public involvement and engagement, and delivered by a research network of anaesthesia trainees. Forty-eight patients recruited through pre-operative assessment clinics wore wrist accelerometers for 7 days before (pre-operative) and immediately after elective surgery (early postoperative), and again at 3 months (late postoperative). Validated activity and quality of recovery questionnaires were administered. Raw accelerometry data were archived and analysed using open source software. The mean (SD) number of valid days of accelerometer wear per participant in the pre-operative, early and late postoperative periods were 5.4 (1.7), 6.6 (1.1) and 6.6 (1.0) days, respectively. On the day after surgery, Euclidian norm minus one (a summary measure of raw accelerations), step count, light physical activity and moderate/vigorous physical activity decreased to 57%, 47%, 59% and 35% of baseline values, respectively. Activity increased progressively on a daily basis but had not returned to baseline values by 7 days. Patient questionnaires suggested subjective recovery by postoperative day 3 to 4; however, accelerometry data showed that activity levels had not returned to baseline at this point. All activity measures had returned to baseline by 3 months. Wrist-worn accelerometery is acceptable to patients and feasible as a surrogate measure for monitoring postoperative recovery from day-case surgery. Our results suggest that patients may overestimate their rate of recovery from day-case surgery, which has important implications for future research.

Abstract
Electron probe microanalyzer measurements of trace elements with high accuracy are challenging. Accurate Al measurements in olivine are required to calibrate SIMS implant reference materials for measurement of Al in the solar wind. We adopt a combined EPMA/SIMS approach that is useful for producing SIMS reference materials as well as for EPMA at the ~100 μg g-1 level. Even for mounts not polished with alumina photoelectron spectroscopy shows high levels of Al surface contamination. In order to minimize electron beam current density, a rastered 50 × 100 μm electron beam was adequate and minimized sensitivity to small Al-rich contaminants. Reproducible analyses of eleven SIMS-cleaned spots on San Carlos olivine agreed at 69.3 ± 1.0 μg g-1• The known Al mass fraction was used to calibrate an Al implant into San Carlos. Accurate measurements of Al were made for olivines in the pallasites: lmilac, Eagle Station and Springwater. Our focus was on Al in olivine, but our technique could be refined to give accurate electron probe measurements for other contamination-sensitive trace elements. For solar wind, it is projected that the Al/Mg abundance ratio can be determined to 6%, a factor of 2 more precise than the solar spectroscopic ratio.

Abstract
AIM The aim of this study was to study the effects of salt concentrations on the microbial communities, physicochemical properties, metabolome profiles and sensory characteristics during the fermentation of traditional northeast sauerkraut. METHODS AND RESULTS Northeast sauerkraut was spontaneously fermented under four salt concentrations (0·5, 1·5, 2·5 and 3·5%, w/w). The result of microbiological analysis showed that the population of lactic acid bacteria in 2·5%-salted sauerkraut was significantly higher than that in the other samples. Correspondingly, the speed of decrease in pH and accumulation of acids were the highest in 2·5%-salted sauerkraut. The glucose (analysed by HPLC) in 2·5%-salted sauerkraut was consumed more completely to produce higher levels of organic acids compared to those in the other samples. Principle component analysis showed clear differences in the metabolites of sauerkraut according to different salt concentrations. A higher level of volatiles (detected by HS-SPME/GC-MS) was identified in 2·5%-salted sauerkraut, and sensory evaluation demonstrated that 2·5%-salted sauerkraut had the best sensory characteristics. CONCLUSION The best quality of sauerkraut was obtained from fermented under 2·5% salt concentration. SIGNIFICANCE AND IMPACT OF THE STUDY This study facilitated the understanding of the effects of salt on the sauerkraut fermentation and may be useful for developing the quality of sauerkraut.

Abstract
Environmental stress such as nutrient deprivation across multiple fields in nature causes physiological and biochemical changes in organism. Understanding the potential epigenetic modulations to phenotypic variation upon nutrient deprivation stress is crucial for environmental assessments. Here, the methyl-cytosine at single-base resolution was mapped across the whole genome and the methylation patterns and methylation levels coordinated with transcript analysis were systemically elaborated in zebrafish embryonic fibroblast cells under serum starvation stress. The down-regulated genes mainly annotated to the pathways of DNA replication and cell cycle that were consistent with cell physiological changes. Vast differentially methylated regions were identified in genomic chromosome and showed enrichment in the intron and intergenic regions. In an integrated transcriptome and DNA methylation analyses, 135 negatively correlated genes were determined, wherein the hub genes of gins2, cdca5, fbxo5, slc29a2, suv39h1b, and zgc:174160 were predominant responsive to the nutrient condition changes. Besides, nutrient recovery and DNA methyltransferases inhibitor supplements partly rescued cell proliferation with decrease of DNA methylation and reactivation of several depressed genes, implying the possible intrinsic relationships among cell physiological state, mRNA expression, and DNA methylation. Collectively, current study proved the broad role of DNA methylation in governing cellular responses to nutrient deprivation and revealed the epigenetic risk of starvation stress in zebrafish.

Abstract
BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE Hereditary sensory and autonomic neuropathies (HSANs) are a group of clinically and genetically heterogeneous neurological disorders characterized by sensory dysfunctions. Here, 21 affected Chinese families are reported, including 19 with congenital insensitivity to pain with anhidrosis (CIPA; namely HSAN IV) and two with congenital insensitivity to pain (CIP; namely HSAN IID) caused by biallelic variations in NTRK1 and SCN9A, respectively, aiming to identify causative variants in these families and compare how different variants in NTRK1 affect the function of tropomyosin receptor kinase A (TrkA). METHODS Recombinant plasmids harboring the wild-type and six mutant alleles (p.Gln216*, p.Glu584Lys, p.Leu595Arg, p.Pro684Leu, p.Val709Leu and p.Arg765Cys) of NTRK1 cDNA were constructed and transfected into HEK293 cells. RESULTS The results suggested that the five missense variants only presented a subtle influence on the expression level and glycosylation of TrkA but compromised the receptor phosphorylation. Our findings also suggested that a synonymous variant c.219C>T in NTRK1 may cause aberrant splicing, indicating a potential novel pathogenic mechanism of CIPA. Furthermore, gross deletion of SCN9A was first associated with CIP. CONCLUSIONS This study identified multiple forms of variants responsible for CIPA/CIP in the Chinese population and might provide new insights into the pathogenesis of CIPA.

Abstract
The experimental results on the ratios of branching fractions R(D)=B(B[over ¯]→Dτ^{-}ν[over ¯]_{τ})/B(B[over ¯]→Dℓ^{-}ν[over ¯]_{ℓ}) and R(D^{*})=B(B[over ¯]→D^{*}τ^{-}ν[over ¯]_{τ})/B(B[over ¯]→D^{*}ℓ^{-}ν[over ¯]_{ℓ}), where ℓ denotes an electron or a muon, show a long-standing discrepancy with the standard model predictions, and might hint at a violation of lepton flavor universality. We report a new simultaneous measurement of R(D) and R(D^{*}), based on a data sample containing 772×10^{6} BB[over ¯] events recorded at the ϒ(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB e^{+}e^{-} collider. In this analysis the tag-side B meson is reconstructed in a semileptonic decay mode and the signal-side τ is reconstructed in a purely leptonic decay. The measured values are R(D)=0.307±0.037±0.016 and R(D^{*})=0.283±0.018±0.014, where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second are systematic. These results are in agreement with the standard model predictions within 0.2, 1.1, and 0.8 standard deviations for R(D), R(D^{*}), and their combination, respectively. This work constitutes the most precise measurements of R(D) and R(D^{*}) performed to date as well as the first result for R(D) based on a semileptonic tagging method.

Abstract
Theories beyond the standard model often predict the existence of an additional neutral boson, the Z^{'}. Using data collected by the Belle II experiment during 2018 at the SuperKEKB collider, we perform the first searches for the invisible decay of a Z^{'} in the process e^{+}e^{-}→μ^{+}μ^{-}Z^{'} and of a lepton-flavor-violating Z^{'} in e^{+}e^{-}→e^{±}μ^{∓}Z^{'}. We do not find any excess of events and set 90% credibility level upper limits on the cross sections of these processes. We translate the former, in the framework of an L_{μ}-L_{τ} theory, into upper limits on the Z^{'} coupling constant at the level of 5×10^{-2}-1 for M_{Z^{'}}≤6 GeV/c^{2}.

Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the association between dietary pattern and type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) in local residents aged 40 years and above in Songjiang district of Shanghai. Methods: Data was obtained from the baseline investigation of Shanghai Peak-Plan cohort. According to inclusion and exclusion criteria, we selected people with T2DM as the case group, and people without T2DM as controls, matched with gender, age and alcohol intake status. Dietary patterns were established by factor analysis. Conditional logistic regression model (CLRM) was used to explore the relationship between different dietary patterns and T2DM, as well as the association between multiplicative interactions of dietary patterns and T2DM. Results: We used factor analysis to obtain six dietary patterns: including meat, desserts-coarse cereals, condiment-egg, beverage, cereals-tubers and fruit-vegetable. Data from multivariate condition logistic regression suggested that condiment-egg patterns as (OR=0.543, 95%CI: 0.377-0.781), beverage (OR=0.590, 95%CI: 0.409-0.852), cereals-tubers (OR=0.592, 95%CI: 0.414-0.848), fruit-vegetable (OR=0.604, 95%CI: 0.417-0.876) were associated with the reduced risks for T2DM. After analyzing the multiplicative interactions between dietary patterns, there were three interaction items associated with T2DM with statistical significances: the multiplicative interaction between meat pattern and condiments-egg pattern was related with the increased risk for T2MD, and the multiplicative interactions between cereal-tubers pattern, meat pattern between cereal-tubers pattern and fruit-vegetable pattern were related with the reduced risks for T2MD. Conclusions: In the six dietary pattern under study, cereals-tubers pattern undwr studly, fruit-vegetable pattern might be more practical in preventing T2DM. In addition, the dietary pattern with cereals and potatos as the main ingredients, appropriate meat and reduced condiment intake might also play positive roles in reducing the risk for T2DM.

Abstract
The gut of aquatic animals was a significant niche for dissemination of antibiotic resistance genes (ARGs) and direct response of living conditions. In this study, the gut microbiota of goldfish Carassius auratus Linnaeus was sampled at 7 days and 21 days after treatment with tetracycline at 0.285 and 2.85 μg L-1 to investigate the influences on the microbial structure and antibiotic resistance. The proportion of tetracycline resistance bacteria was 1.02% in the control group, while increased to 23.00%, 38.43%, 62.05% in groups of high concentration for 7 days (H7), low concentration for 21 days (L21) and high concentration for 21 days (H21), respectively. Compared to the control group, the diversity of isolated Aeromonas spp. was decreased in the treatment groups and the minimal inhibitory concentration (MIC) of resistant isolates was enhanced from 32 to 256 μg mL-1 with the treatment of tetracycline in time- and dose-dependent manners. Furthermore, the abundance of most genes was increased in treatment groups and efflux genes mainly responded to the stress of tetracycline with an average level of 1.0 × 10-2. After treatment with tetracycline, the predominant species were changed both at phylum and genus levels. The present study explored the impact of tetracycline on gut microbiota of goldfish at environmentally realistic concentrations for the first time and our findings will provide a reference for characterizing the microbiome of fish in the natural environment.

Abstract
Here we reported the stress responses of nutrient deprivation and extended observation of autophagy, apoptosis, and DNA methylation in zebrafish embryonic fibroblast (ZF4) cells. Our results showed that serum deprivation resulted in the changes of cell shape and adherent ability, the suppressed cell growth and viability, and the inhibited proliferation and cell cycle. Besides, the appearance of lysosome and autophagosome/autolysosome with significantly increased expression of mRNAs (ulk1a, becn1, atg12, sqstm1, maplc3, and lamp1) and proteins (Atg12, Becn1, Sqstm1, and Lamp1) indicate the autophagic activity was boosted at initial stage but relatively weakened at 48 h of serum starvation. When autophagy no longer mitigate for the stress, cell apoptosis detected by the mRNA expression of caspases, Bcl-2/Bax expression, and Annexin V/PI was gradually enhanced to execute the death plan upon prolonged starvation process. Furthermore, the methyl group metabolism was increased in accordance with autophagic activity and was suppressed by enhanced apoptotic activity. These data suggested that the recycle activity induced by autophagy could compensate the substrates and reactions of DNA transmethylation, which obviously increased 5-methylcytosine (5 mC) level in ZF4 cells. In summary, our results discovered the cellular responses under prolonged serum starvation stress and elaborated the switch from autophagy to apoptosis and corresponding correlation with 5 mC level changes in teleost fish in vitro.

Abstract
NASA's Genesis Mission returned solar wind (SW) to the Earth for analysis to derive the composition of the solar photosphere from solar material. SW analyses control the precision of the derived solar compositions, but their ultimate accuracy is limited by the theoretical or empirical models of fractionation due to SW formation. Mg isotopes are "ground truth" for these models since, except for CAIs, planetary materials have a uniform Mg isotopic composition (within ≤1‰) so any significant isotopic fractionation of SW Mg is primarily that of SW formation and subsequent acceleration through the corona. This study analyzed Mg isotopes in a bulk SW diamond-like carbon (DLC) film on silicon collector returned by the Genesis Mission. A novel data reduction technique was required to account for variable ion yield and instrumental mass fractionation (IMF) in the DLC. The resulting SW Mg fractionation relative to the DSM-3 laboratory standard was (-14.4‰, -30.2‰) ± (4.1‰, 5.5‰), where the uncertainty is 2ơ SE of the data combined with a 2.5‰ (total) error in the IMF determination. Two of the SW fractionation models considered generally agreed with our data. Their possible ramifications are discussed for O isotopes based on the CAI nebular composition of McKeegan et al. (2011).

Abstract
The Belle II experiment is a new generation B-factory experiment at KEK in Japan aiming at the search for New Physics in a huge sample of B-meson decays. The commissioning of the accelerator and the detector for the first physics run has started from March this year. The Belle II High Level Trigger (HLT) is fully working in the beam run. The HLT is now operated with 1600 cores clusterized in 5 units, which is 1/4 of the full configuration. The software trigger is performed using the same offline reconstruction code, and events are classified into a set of physics categories. Only the events in the categories of interest are finally sent out to the storage. Live data quality monitoring is also performed on HLT. For the selected events, the reconstructed tracks are extrapolated to the surface of the pixel detector (PXD) and quickly fed back to the readout electronics for the real time data reduction by sending only the associated hits. The maximum trigger rate in the first physics run was 3.5kHz, and the Belle II data acquisition system was stably operated. There were several problems in the HLT operation, but they have successfully been fixed during the data taking period. The HLT reduction factor is measured to be 8 which is still higher than the design because of the high background environment.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To compare the effects of sevoflurane or propofol combined with remifentanil anesthesia on the clinical efficacy and stress response of pregnancy-induced hypertension (PIHS) in cesarean section. PATIENTS AND METHODS 150 patients with PIHS and treated with cesarean section in our hospital from May 2015 to September 2016 were selected. All patients were randomly divided into sevoflurane-remifentanil group (n=75) and propofol-remifentanil (n=75). The elbow blood of patients in both groups were collected, the levels of Norepinephrine (NE) adrenaline (AD), cortisol and blood glucose in plasma were compared at before anesthesia induction (T0), operation 30 min (T1), end of operation (T2), 2 h after operation (T3), 24 h after operation (T4). The blood pressure control, muscle control, anesthesia onset time, maternal pain and complications were compared between the two groups. RESULTS The patients in the sevoflurane group were superior to the propofol group (p<0.05) in terms of muscle control effect, anesthesia onset time and maternal pain. There was no significant difference between the two groups in terms of blood pressure control and anesthesia complications (p>0.05). There was no significant difference in plasma AD, NE, cortisol and blood glucose between the two groups before induction of anesthesia (p>0.05). However, the plasma markers of the two groups began to increase after anesthesia induction and reached peak at T2 or T3, returned back to preoperative level or higher than before surgery at T4. The levels of AD, NE, cortisol and blood glucose in plasma of sevoflurane group were significantly lower than those in propofol group at T1-T4 time point, the difference was statistically significant (p<0.05). CONCLUSIONS The clinical efficacy of sevoflurane combined with remifentanil anesthesia is better than that of propofol combined with remifentanil, and it can effectively reduce the stress of pregnant women with pregnancy-induced hypertension treated with cesarean section.

Abstract
With the advance of sequencing technology, the number of sequenced plant genomes has been rapidly increasing. However, understanding of the gene function in these sequenced genomes lags far behind; as a result, many coding plant sequences in public databases are annotated as proteins with domains of unknown function (DUF). Function of a protein family DUF810 in rice is not known. In this study, we analysed seven members of OsDU810 (OsDUF810.1-OsDUF810.7) family with three distinct motifs in rice Nipponbare. By phylogenetic analysis, OsDUF810 proteins fall into three major groups (I, II, III). Expression patterns of the seven corresponding OsDUF810 protein-encoding genes in 15 different rice tissues vary. Under drought, salt, cold and heat stress conditions and ABA treatment, the expression of OsDUF810.7 significantly increases. Overexpression of this protein in E. coli lead to a significant enhancement of catalase (CAT) and peroxidase (POD) activities, and improved bacterial resistance to salt and drought.

Abstract
PURPOSE Neural stem cells (NSCs) have been characterized with the ability of self-renewal and neurogenesis, which has inspired lots of studies to clarify the functions of NSCs in neural injury, ischemic stroke, brain inflammation and neurodegenerative diseases. We focused on the relationship of NSCs with glioblastoma, since we have discovered that recurrent glioblastomas were inclined to be derived from subventricular zone (SVZ), where NSCs reside. We want to clarify whether NSCs are involved in glioblastoma relapse. METHODS Immunocytochemistry was used to confirm the stemness of NSCs. The Cell Counting Kit-8 was used to measure the proliferation of cells. Migration abilities were examined by wound healing and transwell assays, and tumor formation abilities were confirmed in nude mice. RESULTS We found in experiments that NSCs promoted proliferation of a glioblastoma cell line-Ln229, the migration ability of Ln229 cells was motivated by co-cultured with NSCs. Tumor formation of Ln229 cells was also accelerated in nude mice when co-transplanted with NSCs. In immunohistochemistry, we found that the Sox2- and Ki67-positive cells were much higher in co-transplanted groups than that of control groups. CONCLUSIONS These results imply the potential role that NSCs play in speeding up tumor formation in the process of glioblastoma relapse, providing the basis for dealing with newly diagnosed glioblastoma patients, which may help postpone the recurrence of glioblastoma as far as possible through preprocessing the tumor-adjacent SVZ tissue.

Abstract
Fine Particulate Matter (PM(2.5)-particles with an aerodynamic diameter ≤2.5 μm) can penetrate deeply into the lung, deposit in the alveoli, and consequently impair lung function. Both short term and long term exposures to PM(2.5) are associated with the incidence of respiratory diseases (e.g. asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, lung cancer). This paper summarizes the effects of ambient air PM(2.5) exposure on human respiratory system revealed by epidemiological studies.

Abstract
Bisphenol A (BPA), a representative endocrine disrupting compound, exists ubiquitously in the aquatic environment. Several studies on fish have validated the role of BPA in the lipid metabolism. However, the action mechanisms of BPA on lipid metabolism have been little studied. To clarify how BPA regulates lipid metabolism, Gobiocypris rarus were exposed to 15 μg/L BPA for 3 and 6 weeks. Results showed that BPA altered lipid content by regulating some metabolism-related genes. The BPA's inhibiting effect on fatty acid β-oxidation might be stronger than on lipid synthesis. BPA disturbed the expression of acaca (acetyl-CoA carboxylase), fasn (fatty acid synthase) and cpt1α (carnitine palmitoyltransferase 1α) by altering the sterol regulatory element binding protein 1 (SREBP-1) binding to their sterol regulatory elements (SREs). Our result also revealed that DNA methylation in the 5' flanking regions of cpt1α could perturb the SREBP-1 binding adjacent to its SRE in females under BPA exposure. Besides, BPA exposure led to gender-specific effect on fatty acid β-oxidation in G. rarus. This will contribute to our understanding of the regulation mechanisms of BPA on lipid metabolism in fish.

Abstract
We report the first observation of the spontaneous polarization of Λ and Λ[over ¯] hyperons transverse to the production plane in e^{+}e^{-} annihilation, which is attributed to the effect arising from a polarizing fragmentation function. For inclusive Λ/Λ[over ¯] production, we also report results with subtracted feed-down contributions from Σ^{0} and charm. This measurement uses a dataset of 800.4 fb^{-1} collected by the Belle experiment at or near a center-of-mass energy of 10.58 GeV. We observe a significant polarization that rises with the fractional energy carried by the Λ/Λ[over ¯] hyperon.

Abstract
We present first evidence that the cosine of the CP-violating weak phase 2β is positive, and hence exclude trigonometric multifold solutions of the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa (CKM) Unitarity Triangle using a time-dependent Dalitz plot analysis of B^{0}→D^{(*)}h^{0} with D→K_{S}^{0}π^{+}π^{-} decays, where h^{0}∈{π^{0},η,ω} denotes a light unflavored and neutral hadron. The measurement is performed combining the final data sets of the BABAR and Belle experiments collected at the ϒ(4S) resonance at the asymmetric-energy B factories PEP-II at SLAC and KEKB at KEK, respectively. The data samples contain (471±3)×10^{6}BB[over ¯] pairs recorded by the BABAR detector and (772±11)×10^{6}BB[over ¯] pairs recorded by the Belle detector. The results of the measurement are sin2β=0.80±0.14(stat)±0.06(syst)±0.03(model) and cos2β=0.91±0.22(stat)±0.09(syst)±0.07(model). The result for the direct measurement of the angle β of the CKM Unitarity Triangle is β=[22.5±4.4(stat)±1.2(syst)±0.6(model)]°. The measurement assumes no direct CP violation in B^{0}→D^{(*)}h^{0} decays. The quoted model uncertainties are due to the composition of the D^{0}→K_{S}^{0}π^{+}π^{-} decay amplitude model, which is newly established by performing a Dalitz plot amplitude analysis using a high-statistics e^{+}e^{-}→cc[over ¯] data sample. CP violation is observed in B^{0}→D^{(*)}h^{0} decays at the level of 5.1 standard deviations. The significance for cos2β>0 is 3.7 standard deviations. The trigonometric multifold solution π/2-β=(68.1±0.7)° is excluded at the level of 7.3 standard deviations. The measurement resolves an ambiguity in the determination of the apex of the CKM Unitarity Triangle.

Abstract
The microbial communities in freshwater have raised concerns about the ecosystem and human health. Many ecological environmental problems have been found in urban river because of the unreasonable use and long-term wastewater discharge. In this study, we explored the bacterial community composition, abundance of 14 antibiotics and 21 antibiotic resistance genes (ARGs), and water environment features in seven water samples and seven sediment samples from Ba River in Xi'an, China. Results showed Proteobacteria and Bacteroidetes were the dominant phyla in all samples, and sediment samples had a higher bacterial diversity and richness than it in water. Bacterial communities of site 5 and 6 were clustered in discrepant patterns compared to those at remaining sites from other samples. It might be influenced by nutrients, heavy metals and antibiotics. Antibiotics concentrations ranged from 1.26 to 1.61 × 103 ng L-1 in water samples and 1.55 to 4.05 × 102 μg kg-1 in sediment samples. Sulfamerazine (SM1) and erythromycin (ERY) were the chief antibiotics in water samples, while the level of oxytetracycline (OTC) and cefazolin (CFZ) were higher in sediment samples. Canonical correspondence analysis showed that trimethoprim (TMP) was significantly related to Acinetobacter in W6, and that SM1 and OTC had positive correlation with Arcobacter in W5. The tetC, blaTEM , ermF and sul1 had higher pollution abundance ranging from 10-4 to 100 copies/16S rRNA gene copies in all samples. Significant correlations were observed between ARGs and matching antibiotics, suggesting that antibiotics can pose the selective pressure on ARGs in this river. In summary, these finding might provide some new data to the limited information available on the bacterial community characteristics, abundance of antibiotics and ARGs in urban river of China.

Abstract
Bisphenol A (BPA), an ubiquitous environmental endocrine disruptor chemical, disturbs the mRNA expressions of steroidogenic genes and subsequently steroid hormone synthesis in mammals and aquatic species. However, the underlying regulation mechanisms are barely understood, especially in fish. To explore the regulation mechanism, we exposed female rare minnow Gobiocypris rarus (G. rarus) to BPA at a nominal concentration of 15 μg/L for 7 and 14 days in the present study. Results showed significant increase of gonad somatic index (GSI) and serum estradiol (E2) levels in response to BPA at day 14. The 7-day BPA exposure notably repressed the expression of two ovarian steroidogenic genes (star and hsd11b2) and suppressed their capacity of estrogen response elements (ERE) to recruit estrogen receptor (ER), while the 14-day BPA treatment remarkably induced transcript of hsd3b and enhanced the capacity of ERE to recruitment ER in ovaries. Furthermore, the 7-day BPA exposure caused DNA hypermethylation of star (CpGs: -742 bp and -719 bp) and hsd11b2 (CpG: -1788 bp). However, 14-day BPA exposure resulted in DNA hypomethylation of hsd3b (CpG: -181 bp). Correlation analysis revealed that the DNA methylation levels at specific CpGs in star, hsd3b and hsd11b2 were significantly correlated to their mRNA levels and ER-EREs interactions. These findings suggest that the disturbed steroidogenesis and the transcripts of ovarian steroidogenic genes might attribute to the altered DNA methylation status of these ovarian steroidogenic genes in response to BPA.

Abstract
目的 分析血友病A(HA)和血友病B(HB)的出血频率和X线分级情况、X线分级进展的危险因素及差异。 方法 回顾性分析2007年1月至2010年12月中国医学科学院血液病医院收治的211例血友病患者的临床资料,随访部分患者出血关节的X线Arnold-Hilgartner诊断分级结果。 结果 211例患者均为男性,其中HA 150例,HB 61例。HA组总体中位年均总出血次数、中位年均关节出血次数分别为20.5(0~48)、13.5(0~38)次,HB组总体中位年均总出血次数、中位年均关节出血次数分别为13(1~40)、8(0~33)次,中间型HA患者中位年均总出血次数和中位年均关节出血次数高于中间型HB患者[26(1~48)次对12(1~36)次,P<0.001;18(0~36)次对7.5(0~26)次,P=0.001],而重型HA和HB患者中位年均总出血次数和中位年均关节出血次数比较差异无统计学意义[33(1~41)次对26(1~40)次,P=0.702;22(0~36)次对18(0~33)次,P=0.429]。108例HA、54例HB患者入院时行出血关节普通X线检查,HA患者血友病严重程度与关节X线Arnold-Hilgartner诊断分级呈正相关(r=0.063,P=0.004);HB患者严重程度分级与关节X线Arnold-Hilgartner诊断分级无相关性(r=0.045,P=0.082);36例HA和19例HB患者5年后复查病变关节X线片,总体HA与HB患者X线进展程度比较差异无统计学意义(z=1.941,P=0.052),但中间型HA患者进展程度高于中间型HB患者(z=0.076,P=0.002),重型HA和重型HB患者比较差异无统计学意义(z=3.139,P=0.945)。多因素分析显示关节出血次数[P<0.001,OR=1.166(95%CI 1.097~1.239)]和外伤[P=0.018,OR=2.842(95%CI 1.196~6.755)]是血友病患者关节X线Arnold-Hilgartner诊断分级进展的独立危险因素。 结论 HB患者出血频率低于HA患者,中间型患者差异尤其明显。中间型HB患者关节X线分级进展较中间型HA患者慢。关节出血次数和外伤是血友病患者关节X线Arnold-Hilgartner诊断分级进展的独立危险因素。

Abstract
The riverine system is usually considered as a natural reservoir of antibiotic resistance genes (ARGs) and more susceptible to anthropogenic activities. In this study, the occurrence and distribution of 14 antibiotics belonging to 7 categories together with 23 corresponding ARGs in Ba River of Xi'an China were investigated in March and July 2017. Sulfonamides, quinolones, macrolides and tetracyclines were detected in high frequencies ranged from 85.7% to 100%. Tetracyclines were detected with high concentrations in water samples (up to 8.54 × 102 ng L-1) and sediment samples (up to 2.08 × 103 μg kg-1), respectively. The total concentrations of antibiotics were much higher in July in comparison with March. The sul1, tetA, tetC, tetZ, gyrA, ermF, cmlA and blaTEM were the predominant ARGs in terms of absolute abundance. For both water and sediment samples in March compared with July, the relative abundance of ARGs had no significant difference except for sul3. The tetracyclines had positive correlation with tet genes, whereas the remaining antibiotics had no significant correlations with their corresponding ARGs, suggesting that environmental factors and cross-selection may significantly influenced the distribution of ARGs. Redundancy analysis was performed to further predict the influences of environmental factors on antibiotics and ARG abundance. The findings suggest that anthropogenic activities contribute significantly to the persistence of antibiotics pollution.
