Abstract
Objective: To inquiry the changes of serum miRNAs expression in pneumoconiosis complicated with pulmonary tuberculosis patients. Methods: The study subjects (all subjects are male) were divided into three groups: Ⅰstage pneumoconiosis (38 cases) 、Pneumoconiosis complicated with pulmonary tuberculosis (12 cases) and healthy control (40cases) . The first two groups come from Tianjin worker's sanatorium and healthy control group came from a Hospital Health Screening Center. RT-qPCR was used to detect the expression levels of miR-21, miR-200c, miR-16, miR-204, miR-206, miR-155, let-7g, miR-30b, miR-192, miR-29a in serum. Results: Compared with the healthy control group, the expression levels of miR-204, miR-206, miR-21, miR-16, miR-29a, miR-155, miR-200c in other two groups are different (P<0.05) ; Compared with the Ⅰstage pneumoconiosis, the expression levels of miR-155 is significantly higher (P<0.05) and miR-29a is significantly lower (P<0.05) . Conclusion: Compared with the Ⅰstage pneumoconiosis, the expression levels of miR-155 and miR-29a are significantly different, suggesting that these two miRNAs may play a important role in the process of pneumoconiosis complicated with pulmonary tuberculosis.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the current situation of occupational exposure to noise among noise workers in an automobile manufacturing enterprise in Tianjin, understand the impact of noise on workers' nervous system and hearing, and assess the risk of hearing loss among noise workers. Methods: In May 2021, 3516 workers in an automobile manufacturing enterprise were investigated by using a self-made questionnaire"Noise Workers Questionnaire" and cluster sampling method. The occupational noise hygiene survey and occupational hazards detection were carried out in their workplaces. They were divided into noise exposure group and non-noise exposure group according to whether they were exposed to noise or not. The general characteristics, hearing and nervous system symptoms of the two groups of workers were compared, and the risk of hearing loss was assessed. Results: There were 758 workers in the noise exposure group, aged (26±5) years old, with a working age of 3.0 (2.0, 6.0) years exposed to noise. 2758 workers in the non-noise exposure group, aged (25±6) years old, with a working age of 2.0 (1.0, 4.0) years. There were statistically significant differences in the distribution of workers'education level, working age and memory loss between the two groups (χ(2)=37.98, 38.70, 5.20, P<0.05). The workers in the noise exposure group showed a decreasing trend of insomnia, dreaminess, sweating and fatigue with the increase of working age (χ(2trend)=6.16, 7.99, P<0.05). The risk classification of binaural high-frequency hearing loss for workers in all noise positions until the age of 50 and 60 was negligible, the risk of occupational noise deafness was low for workers in stamping and welding noise positions until the age of 60. Conclusion: The occupational noise exposed to automobile manufacturing workers may cause certain harm to their nervous and auditory systems. Noise protection measures should be taken to reduce the risk of hearing loss and occupational noise deafness.

Abstract
Objective: To construct a recombinant lentiviral vector for mouse miR-204 overexpression, and to verify the targeted regulation of miR-204 and DVL3 in silica (SiO(2)) -induced mouse lung epithelial cells (MLE-12 cells) . Methods: In October 2019, the pre-miR-204 gene was amplified from the mouse genome by the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) method. After sequencing, the amplified product was cloned into the pLenti-CMV-EGFP lentiviral vector. The positive clones were identified by PCR screening and sequencing. The miR-204 overexpressed lentiviral vector was transfected into 293T cells, and lentiviral packaging and titer determination were performed. The experiment was divided into SiO(2) control group, virus control group, and miR-204 virus group, and the expressions of miR-204 and DVL3 gene were detected by real-time PCR. Results: The miR-204 lentiviral expression vector Lv-miR-204-5p was constructed and identified correctly by PCR and sequencing, and a virus dilution with a titer of 9.57×10(8) IU/ml was obtained. The results of real-time PCR showed that the expression of miR-204 in MLE-12 cells of the miR-204 virus group was higher than that of SiO(2) control group and virus control group, and the expression of DVL3 gene was lower than that of SiO(2) control group and virus control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05) . Conclusion: Overexpression of miR-204 by lentiviral vector may inhibit the expression of DVL3 gene in silica-induced mouse lung epithelial cells.

Measurement of jet activity produced in top-quark events with an electron, a muon and two b-tagged jets in the final state in pp collisions at [Formula: see text] TeV with the ATLAS detector. THE EUROPEAN PHYSICAL JOURNAL. C, PARTICLES AND FIELDS 2017; 77:220. Abstract
Measurements of jet activity in top-quark pair events produced in proton-proton collisions are presented, using 3.2 fb[Formula: see text] of pp collision data at a centre-of-mass energy of 13 TeV collected by the ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider. Events are chosen by requiring an opposite-charge [Formula: see text] pair and two b-tagged jets in the final state. The normalised differential cross-sections of top-quark pair production are presented as functions of additional-jet multiplicity and transverse momentum, [Formula: see text]. The fraction of signal events that do not contain additional jet activity in a given rapidity region, the gap fraction, is measured as a function of the [Formula: see text] threshold for additional jets, and is also presented for different invariant mass regions of the [Formula: see text] system. All measurements are corrected for detector effects and presented as particle-level distributions compared to predictions with different theoretical approaches for QCD radiation. While the kinematics of the jets from top-quark decays are described well, the generators show differing levels of agreement with the measurements of observables that depend on the production of additional jets.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the incidence of shoulder work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WMSDs) among occupational population in China, and to explore their intrinsic association with personal and work-related factors. Methods: In April 2024, 73497 valid questionnaires of the Chinese version of the Musculoskeletal Disorders Electronic Questionnaire were retrospectively analyzed from June 2018 to December 2023 in 22 provinces and 29 key industries in China, and the general information, occurrence of WMSDs and related risk factors of key occupational populations in different regions in China were collected. By using Chi-square test and confirmatory factor analysis, the relationship between shoulder fatigue and pain in key occupational groups and individual factors, work type, work posture and work organization was discussed, and the internal relationship was analyzed based on structural equation model. Results: Higher incidence of shoulder fatigue and pain were associated with female, lack of physical exercise, uncomfortable working posture and neck leaning forward (P<0.05). Structural equation model analysis showed that work type, work posture and work organization were strongly correlated (r=0.58, 0.55). Work organization and work type were strongly correlated with shoulder fatigue (r=0.65) and moderately correlated with shoulder fatigue (r=0.21). Shoulder fatigue was moderately associated with shoulder pain (r=0.40). Individual factors, work type, work posture and shoulder fatigue could directly affect shoulder pain (OR=0.07, -0.09, 0.17 and 0.40), and work type and work posture could also indirectly affect shoulder pain through shoulder fatigue (OR=0.08, 0.03). Work organization only indirectly affected shoulder pain through shoulder fatigue (OR=0.26) . Conclusion: The main influencing factor of shoulder pain is shoulder fatigue, followed by work posture and individual factors. Structural equation model can better reflect the complex relationship between work type, work posture and work organization and shoulder WMSDs. Improving work posture and work organization may be an effective way to control the influence of shoulder fatigue on shoulder pain.

Abstract
Objective: To analyze the differences in pediatric CT radiation dose and scanning parameter Settings between children's specialized hospitals and general hospitals, and to provide reference for the optimization strategy of pediatric CT radiation dose. Methods: From July to August 2022, a stratified sampling method was used to select 7 comprehensive hospitals and 2 children's hospitals in Tianjin, and on-site survey was conducted to collect the dose data of children's head, chest, and abdomen and pelvic CT examinations in these hospitals. The Wilcoxon rank sum test was used to analyze the differences in CTDI(vol) and DLP of the same age group and examination site among different types of hospitals, and the stepwise regression analysis method was used to analyze the effects of age, examination site, and scanning parameters on radiation dose CTDI(vol) and DLP. Results: The CTDI(vol) and DLP of head (1-<5, 5-<10, 10-<15 years old group), chest (5-<10, 10-<15 years old group) and abdomen (1-<5, 5-<10, 10-<15 years old group) in children's specialized hospitals were lower than those in general hospitals (head, 1-<5, 5-<10, 10-<15 years old group, CTDI(vol): Z=-9.32, -6.17, -9.86, P<0.001, DLP, Z=-4.41, -4.14, -5.76, P<0.001; chest, 5-<10, 10-<15 years old group, CTDI(vol): Z=-3.84, -5.35, P<0.001, DLP, Z=-3.59, -4.63, P<0.001; abdomen, 1-<5、5-<10 and 10-<15 years old group, CTDI(vol): Z=-7.88, -7.78, -8.53, P<0.001, DLP, Z=-7.24, -5.92, -3.44, P<0.001). The CT radiation dose in children was positively correlated with age, tube voltage, tube current time product and scan length, and negatively correlated with pitch and hospital type (general hospital and children's hospital) . Conclusion: There are some differences in the CT radiation dose and scanning parameters between children's hospitals and general hospitals. The results indicate that there is still much room for improvement in the optimization of radiation dose in pediatric CT examination.

Abstract
Background: Smoking among Chinese women accounts for a small proportion, but the incidence and mortality rates of female lung cancer is increasing in recent years. Studies found that there were changes in histologic subtypes of lung cancer patients in China. Aim: This study investigated the tobacco smoking and trends in histologic subtypes of female lung cancer in a cancer hospital in China. Methods: Demographic, smoking history and histologic information about female lung cancer patients diagnosed or treated from 2000 to 2012 was collected from Cancer Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Science (CHCAMS). Trends of histologic subtypes calculated with annual percentage change (APC). The distribution differences of adenocarcinoma (ADC), squamous cell carcinoma (SCC), small cell lung cancer (SCLC) and the other subtypes between smokers and nonsmokers were calculated by 7th AJCC cancer staging. Results: Totally of 5,870 female cases of lung cancer, including 630 with history of smoking and 5,240 without, were analyzed. The number of female lung cancer patients increased from 509 (2000-2002) to 1744 (2012-2013). The main histologic type of lung cancer was adenocarcinoma (ADC) (72.93%), followed by small cell lung cancer (SCLC) (11.06%), squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) (8.38%) and the other (7.63%). Among smokers, the proportion of SCC decreased from 40.5% to 23.7% (APC = -11.68%, P = 0.005), however, the ADC increased from 35.7% to 50.7% (APC = 8.63%, P = 0.009). In nonsmokers, the ADC was 76.1%, and SCC was 5.9%. ADC increased from 63.1% to 80.6% (APC = -21.33%, P = 0.006), SCC decreased from 13.6% to 4.5% (APC = 3.86%, P = 0.016). Among squamous cell carcinoma, the cases with history of smoking were more likely diagnosed at early stages (I/II: 47.1%) than those at late stages (III, 34.3%; IV, 18.6%). Conclusion: The number of female lung cancer patients was increased in CHCAMS by year of diagnosis. In both smoking and nonsmoking cases, the proportion of adenocarcinoma was increasing. Among the squamous cell carcinoma, smokers seem to find in early stages.

Abstract
Cross reactions of T. spiralis muscular larva antigens (TsMLA) against several sera from patients with other parasitic diseases by ELIB (enzyme-linked immunoblotting technique) were studied. The proteins of 31-100 KDa were recognized by sera of two cases of acute schistosomiasis, while proteins of 44/45, 51/53, 62/64 and 100 KDa were recognized by sera of 11 cases of chronic schistosomiasis. The proteins of 60 KDa showed varied cross reactions against sera of five kinds of patients with other parasitic diseases (filariasis, hookworm diseases, paragonimiasis, ascariasis and clonorchiasis). Only the proteins of 45 KDa were recognized by six of fifteen cases of normal human sera. All of > 29 KDa proteins were recognized by sera of rabbit infected by T. spiralis. It is suggested that there were many antigens in Trichinellen muscular larva which shared in common with several other parasites. The cross reactions of TsMLA against Schistosoma japonicum may be differentiated on the positive reaction bands of 44/45, 51/53, 62/64 and 100 KDa proteins which was specific to the chronic schistosomiasis using the TsMLA by means of ELIB.

Abstract
We have developed several prototype applications which integrate clinical systems with on-line information resources by using patient data to drive queries in response to user information needs. We refer to these collectively as infobuttons because they are evoked with a minimum of keyboard entry. We make use of knowledge in our terminology, the Medical Entities Dictionary (MED) to assist with the selection of appropriate queries and resources, as well as the translation of patient data to forms recognized by the resources. This paper describes the kinds of knowledge in the MED, including literal attributes, hierarchical links and other semantic links, and how this knowledge is used in system integration.

Abstract
We present a model for providing clinical information system (CIS) users with quick access to high quality information resources. We have developed a chest X-ray information button application which is attached to the chest X-ray reports in the CIS at the Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center. The application generates questions based on clinical information, user interest, generic question templates, and resource availability. It then provides answers to the questions through integrated access to heterogeneous information resources including the CIS itself and publicly accessible Web resources.

Abrogation of transforming growth factor-alpha/epidermal growth factor receptor autocrine signaling by an RXR-selective retinoid (LGD1069, Targretin) in head and neck cancer cell lines. Abstract
Clinical studies have demonstrated that retinoids, including retinol (Vitamin A) and its synthetic derivatives, can eradicate leukoplakia and suppress the formation of squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck (SCCHN). Nonselective retinoids have been shown to abrogate transcriptional activation of transforming growth factor-alpha (TGF-alpha) and epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), which characterize SCCHN. LGD1069 (Targretin) is a potent RXR-selective retinoic acid agonist with a reduced toxicity profile compared with other nonselective retinoids. We examined the effect of LGD1069 (10 microm) on cellular proliferation and expression of putative intermediate biomarker genes including TGF-alpha, EGFR, and RAR-beta in seven SCCHN cell lines. A quantitative reverse transcription-PCR assay using a novel "primer dropping" method was used to determine expression levels of EGFR, TGF-alpha, and RAR-beta before and after treatment with LGD1069 (10 microM). SCCHN proliferation was reduced by a mean of 50% at 4 days in seven SCCHN cell lines after LGD1069 treatment (P < or = 0.05). EGFR expression levels were decreased by a mean of 58.4% (P = 0.007), TGF-alpha levels were decreased by a mean of 28.8% (P = 0.01), and RAR-beta levels were increased by a mean of 60% (P = 0.03). TGF-alpha stimulation of EGFR is associated with constitutive signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 (Stat3) activation in SCCHN. Abrogation of constitutive Stat3 activation was seen with LGD1069 treatment. These results suggest that an RXR-selective retinoic acid decreases SCCHN proliferation in part by interfering with TGF-alpha/EGFR autocrine signaling.

Abstract
We describe our work on creating a system that selects appropriate clinical trials by automating the evaluation of eligibility criteria. We developed a data model of eligibility for breast cancer clinical trials, upon which the criteria were encoded. Standard vocabularies are utilized to represent concepts used in the system, and retrieve their hierarchical relationships. The system incorporates Bayesian networks to handle missing patient information. Protocols are ranked by the belief that the patient is eligible for each of them. In a preliminary evaluation, we found good agreement (kappa 0.86) between the system and an independent physician in selection of protocols, but poor agreement (kappa 0.24) in protocol ranking. We conclude that our approach is feasible, and potentially useful in assisting both physicians and patients in the task of selecting appropriate trials.

Abstract
The effects of Panax notoginseng saponins (PNS) on monophasic action potentials (MAP) recorded from the myocardial surface by means of contact electrode were studied in 30 open-chest rabbits. The MAPA was increased and MAPD50, MAPD90 were prolonged with PNS (100, 200 mg.kg-1, iv), while the Vmax remained unchanged. PNS (300-1200 micrograms.ml-1) inhibited the automaticity of isolated guinea pig right atria and the contractility of the left atria. The positive inotropic action of ouabain (0.2 mumol.L-1) on isolated guinea pig left atria was decreased in the presence of PNS 300 micrograms.ml-1.

Abstract
We present measurements of the branching fractions for the three-body decays B0 --> D(*)-/+K0pi+/- and their resonant submodes B0 --> D(*)-/+K*+/-using a sample of approximately 88 x 10(6) BB pairs collected by the BABAR detector at the SLAC PEP-II asymmetric energy storage ring. We measure: B(B0 --> D-/+K0pi+/-) = (4.9 +/- 0.7stat +/- 0.5syst) x 10(-4), B(B0 --> D*-/+K0pi+/-) = (3.0 +/- 0.7stat +/- 0.3syst) x 10(-4), B(B0 --> D-/+K*+/-) = (4.6 +/- 0.6stat +/- 0.5syst) x 10(-4), B(B0 --> D*-/+K*+/-) = (3.2 +/- 0.6stat +/- 0.3syst) x 10(-4). From these measurements we determine the fractions of resonant events to be f(B0 --> D-/+K*+/-) = 0.63 +/- 0.08stat +/- 0.04syst and f(B0 --> D*-/+K*+/-) = 0.72 +/- 0.14stat +/-0.05syst.

Prompt and non-prompt J / ψ elliptic flow in Pb+Pb collisions at s NN = 5.02 Tev with the ATLAS detector. THE EUROPEAN PHYSICAL JOURNAL. C, PARTICLES AND FIELDS 2018; 78:784. Abstract
The elliptic flow of prompt and non-prompt J / ψ was measured in the dimuon decay channel in Pb+Pb collisions ats NN = 5.02 TeV with an integrated luminosity of 0.42 nb - 1 with the ATLAS detector at the LHC. The prompt and non-prompt signals are separated using a two-dimensional simultaneous fit of the invariant mass and pseudo-proper decay time of the dimuon system from the J / ψ decay. The measurement is performed in the kinematic range of dimuon transverse momentum and rapidity 9 < p T < 30 GeV , | y | < 2 , and 0-60% collision centrality. The elliptic flow coefficient, v 2 , is evaluated relative to the event plane and the results are presented as a function of transverse momentum, rapidity and centrality. It is found that prompt and non-prompt J / ψ mesons have non-zero elliptic flow. Prompt J / ψ v 2 decreases as a function of p T , while for non-prompt J / ψ it is, with limited statistical significance, consistent with a flat behaviour over the studied kinematic region. There is no observed dependence on rapidity or centrality.

Abstract
Objective: To construct a recombinant short-hairpin RNA (shRNA) lentiviral vector targeting the β-catenin gene in cochlear precursor cells (CPCs) in mice, and to investigate its inhibitory effect. Methods: PCR was used for the multiplication of the β-catenin gene, and shRNA oligo was designed based on the β-catenin gene to construct an interference vector. Gateway Technology was used to construct shRNA lentiviral vector which carried the β-catenin gene, and then 293FT cells were transfected with the constructed lentiviral vector and helper plasmids pLV/helper-SL3, pLV/helper-SL4, and pLV/helper-SL5. The virus supernatant was collected to obtain viral particles, and then mouse CPCs were transiently infected with the recombinant lentivirus with four different concentrations (0, 5, 10, and 20 μl) . The shRNA control group was established. Quantitative real-time PCR and Western blot were used to investigate the inhibitory effect of shRNA β-catenin lentiviral vector on β-catenin. Results: The recombinant shRNA β-catenin lentiviral vector was successfully constructed, and the virus titers of shβ-catenin and shβ-catenin-control were 5.05×10(7) and 4.34×10(7), respectively. The results of in vitro experiments showed that in CPCs transfected with four different concentrations of recombinant lentivirus, the content of β-catenin protein gradually decreased with the increase in concentration, and there was a significant difference between groups (P<0.05) ; the CPCs transfected with shβ-catenin had significantly lower mRNA expression of β-catenin than those in the shβ-catenin-control group (P<0.05) . Conclusion: The constructed lentiviral vector targeting the β-catenin gene has a high infection efficiency, and the successful construction of lentiviral vectors provides a technical support for analyzing the role of β-catenin in the differentiation of CPCs into auditory hair cells.

Abstract
Human interferon omega 1 (huIFN-omega 1) gene was isolated and cloned from chromosome DNA derived from a Chinese fetal liver via polymerase chain reaction (PCR). By determining its nucleotide sequence we proved that the 88th codon should be GGA, coding for Gly. After engineering the original IFN-omega 1 gene clone to a form that may be expressed as a nonfused protein, we also took the IFN-omega 1 gene under the control of the PRPL promoter with an expression vector pBV220 in E. coli. The antivirus activity of the recombinant IFN-omega 1 is about 6.5 x 10(7) units/L CULTURE (OD600 = 0.75). Since IFN-omega 1 not only has antivirus activity but also shows considerably high homology with animal trophoblast proteins which have been proved antiluteolysins as a maternal recognition signal for pregnancy, we believe that study on it will be practically and theoretically significant.

Abstract
This paper presents our work in extracting disease-chemical relationship knowledge from the UMLS Co-occurrence table (MRCOC) using an automated method. We evaluated the quality of the knowledge from UMLS MRCOC by comparing it with knowledge from other sources: For disease-lab chemical relationships, knowledge was obtained from a decision support system (DXplain) and our own knowledge base of medical terminology (MED) through automated processes. For disease-drug chemical relationships, knowledge was manually acquired from the medical literature. Evaluations showed that the UMLS MRCOC knowledge has good sensitivity, especially regarding disease-drug relationships. We are using this knowledge to produce disease-specific views of patients' electronic patient record.
