Abstract
Objectives: To evaluate the effects of steatotic donor livers on the safety of donors and the prognosis of donors and recipients in pediatric living donor liver transplantation. Methods: A total of 814 pediatric living donor liver transplantations were performed between January 2013 and December 2020 at Department of Pediatric Organ Transplantation,Tianjin First Central Hospital.The clinical data were collected and a retrospective study was conducted.The recipients and the donors were divided into non-steatotic donor liver group(n=733) and steatotic donor liver group(n=81) according to whether the donor graft had steatosis. The recipients and the donors in the steatotic donor liver group were further divided into mild and moderate steatosis groups based on the degree of liver steatosis.Among the donors of non-steatosis donor group,there were 307 males and 426 females,with a median age of 30 years(range:18 to 57 years);the recipients included 351 males and 382 females,with a median age of 7 months(range:4 month to 14 years).Among the donors of steatosis donor group,there were 41 males and 40 females,with a median age of 31 years(range:22 to 51 years);the recipients included 34 males and 47 females,with a median age of 8 months(range:5 months to 11 years).The donors and the recipients were followed up regularly by means of outpatient reexamination and questionnaire survey after operation.Statistical analysis of data between groups was performed using t-test,Wilcoxon rank-sum test,repeated measures ANOVA,χ2 test,or Fisher's exact test,respectively.The survival curves of recipients and grafts in different groups were created by Kaplan-Meier method,and the survival rates of the steatotic donor liver group and the non-steatotic donor liver group were compared by Log-rank method. Results: There was no significant difference in the gender of donors in both groups (P=0.132).There were significant differences in the age and blood type distribution as well as body weight and body mass index(all P<0.05) between the two groups.No significant difference was seen in the recovery of liver function markers ALT and AST at 1,2,5 days and 1 month after operation (all P>0.05) between the two groups.The steatotic donor liver group showed longer operation time ((294±75) minutes vs. (264±81) minutes; t=3.149,P=0.002),increased incidence of postoperative biliary leakage (3.7%(3/81) vs. 0.5% (4/733); P=0.025) and delayed incision healing (7.4%(6/81) vs. 2.0%(15/733); P=0.013).There were no significant differences in gender,age,blood type distribution,height,weight and pediatric end-stage liver disease score of recipients between the two groups (all P>0.05).As compared to the non-steatotic donor liver group,the steatotic donor liver group showed similar levels of ALT, AST and total bilirubin within 2 weeks after operation(all P>0.05). The cumulative recipient survival rates in both groups were both 96.3%,the cumulative graft survival rates were 96.3% and 95.5%,respectively,without significant difference(both P>0.05). No statistical difference was observed in the incidence of major complications between the two groups (all P>0.05). There was no significant difference in the recovery of liver function markers of donors and recipients between mild and moderate steatosis groups(all P>0.05).The cumulative recipient survival rates were both 95.9% and the cumulative graft survival rates were both 100% in mild and moderate steatosis groups,without significant difference(P=0.592). Conclusions: The application of mild to moderate steatotic donor livers in pediatric living donor liver transplantation may prolong the operation time of donors,increase the incidence of complications such as biliary leakage and delayed incision healing. But there is no significant impact of mild to moderate steatotic donor livers on the overall postoperative recovery of donors and recipients,and the prognosis is ideal.

Abstract
Microbial colonization and biofilm formation associated with microplastics (MPs) have recently attracted wide attention. However, little is known about the effect of MP aging and different exposed habitats on biofilm formation and associated microbial community characteristics. To obtain a comprehensive understanding, virgin and aged polypropylene MPs were selected as attachment substrates and exposed to different aquatic habitats (marine, estuary, and river). The results showed that the aging process could destroy surface structure and increase oxygen-containing groups of MPs. The total biomass of the biofilms, attached-bacterial OTU numbers, and α diversities increased with exposure time. The biofilms biomass and α diversity of MPs in the river were significantly higher than those in the marine and estuary habitats, and temperature and salinity were primary factors affecting microbial colonization. Bacterial communities in MP-attached biofilms were significantly different from those in surrounding water. Microorganisms tend to adhere to aged MPs, and especially, genes related to human pathogens were significantly expressed on aged MPs, suggesting a potential ecological and health risk of aged MPs in aquatic ecosystems. Our results showed that aged MPs and different habitats have an important influence on microbial colonization, and the weathering process can accelerate biofilm formation on MPs.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the efficacy and safety of humanized CD19-specific chimeric antigen receptor T cells (hCART19s) in treating children and young adults with relapsed/refractory acute lymphoblastic leukemia (R/R ALL) and to analyze relevant factors affecting its curative effect and prognosis. Methods: We conducted a single-center clinical trial involving 31 children and young adult patients with R/R B-ALL who were treated with humanized CD19-specific CAR-T cells (hCART19s) from May 2016 to September 2021. Results: Results showed that 27 (87.1%) patients achieved complete remission (CR) or CR with incomplete count recovery (CRi) one month after CAR-T cell infusion. During treatment, 20 (64.5%) patients developed grade 1-2 cytokine release syndrome (CRS) , and 4 (12.9%) developed grade 3 CRS. Additionally, two patients had grade 1 neurological events. During the follow-up with a median time of 19.3 months, the median event-free survival (EFS) was 15.7 months (95% CI 8.7-22.5) , and the median overall survival (OS) was 32.2 months (95% CI 10.6-53.9) . EFS and OS rates were higher in patients who have undergone hemopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) than in those without [EFS: (75.0 ± 12.5) % vs (21.1 ± 9.4) %, P=0.012; OS: (75.0 ± 12.5) % vs (24.6 ± 10.2) %, P=0.035]. The EFS and OS rates were significantly lower in patients with >3 treatment lines than in those with <3 treatment lines [EFS: 0 vs (49.5±10.4) %, P<0.001; OS: 0 vs (52.0±10.8) %, P<0.001]. To the cutoff date, 12 patients presented with CD19(+) relapse, and 1 had CD19(-) relapse. Conclusion: hCART19s are effective in treating pediatric and young adult R/R ALL patients, with a low incidence of severe adverse events and reversible symptoms. Following HSCT, the number of treatment lines can affect the long-term efficacy and prognosis of pediatric and young adult R/R ALL patients.

Abstract
Efficient Pd-catalyzed regioselective B(6)-H phosphorization of nido-carboranes via cascade deboronation/B-H activation of readily available C-substituted o-carboranes with various phosphines using 3-methylpyridine or isoquinoline as a directing group in combination with pyridine ligands has been developed, affording unprecedented B(6)-phosphinated nido-carborane derivatives with high selectivity in a simple one-pot process.

Abstract
In this work, the pharmaceutical cocrystals xanthotoxin-para-aminobenzoic acid (XT-PABA) and xanthotoxin-oxalic acid (XT-OA) were systematically investigated in the gas and water phases by using the quantum chemical approach. The weak intermolecular interactions have been estimated and the O1…H4 (O1…H5) intermolecular hydrogen bond (IHB) with moderate intensity and partial covalent natures was confirmed based on the computed structural parameters, topology analysis, and reduced density gradient (RDG) isosurfaces. The electrophilic and nucleophilic reactivities of different positions associated with intermolecular interactions in XT, PABA, and OA were predicted by plotting the molecular electrostatic potential (MESP) diagrams. The calculated natural bond orbital (NBO) population analysis has quantitatively unveiled the intrinsic reason for the variations in weak intermolecular interactions within XT-PABA and XT-OA cocrystals, from the gas phase to the water phase. Besides, the frontier molecular orbitals (FMOs), Fukui function, and various global reactivity descriptors were computed to measure the chemical reactivity of all the investigated molecular systems. The XT-PABA and XT-OA cocrystals explored in this work could be regarded as valuable exemplar systems to design and synthesize the high-efficiency pharmaceutical cocrystals in the experiment.

Abstract
BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVE Individuals with Alzheimer disease and dementia experience cognitive decline and reduction in physical capabilities. Engaging in cognitive challenges and physical exercises is effective in reducing age-related cognitive and physical decline. It is believed that physical activity in the context of cognitive challenges might enhance the process of neurogenesis in the adult brain, but how effective are such interventions? Is there enough evidence to support that dual-task training is more effective than cognitive or physical training alone? To what extent can such training improve cognitive and physical functions in patients at various stages of cognitive decline? METHODOLOGY This systematic review with meta-analysis summarizes the emerging evidence of dual-task training for enhancing cognitive and physical functions in older individuals with cognitive impairment, dementia or Alzheimer's disease. A systematic search was carried out in MEDLINE, PubMed, EMBASE, and Cochrane Library with the following search terms: randomized control trials, dual-task training, SCD, MCI, dementia, and Alzheimer's disease. RESULTS A total of 21 studies with 2,221 participants were identified. The results of dual-task tanning intervention are summarized as change in global cognitive function; SMD = 0.24, (P= 0.002), memory; SMD = 0.28, (P = 0.000), executive function; SMD = 0.35, (P = 0.000), attention; SMD = -0.19, (P = 0.1), gait speed; SMD = 0.26, (P = 0.007), dual-task cost; SMD 0.56, (P = 0.000), and balance; SMD 0.36, (P = 0.004). CONCLUSION Primary analysis showed a small-to-medium positive effect of dual-task training interventions on cognitive functions and medium-to-large positive effect on gait functions and balance.

Abstract
Two novel compounds (HQS and HQSe) with excited-state intramolecular proton transfer (ESIPT) properties were designed based on the compound 2-(2-hydroxy-3-ethoxyphenyl)-3H-quinazolin-4-one (HQ). The parameters related to the ESIPT properties and electronic spectra of HQ and its derivatives were calculated using density functional theory and time-dependent density functional theory methods. The obtained geometric configurations, infrared vibrational spectra, and reduced density gradient scatter plots have shown that the intramolecular hydrogen bond O1···H1-N1 has been weakened upon photoexcitation. Moreover, from the scanned potential energy curves, it can be found that the ESIPT processes of the three compounds have no energy barriers. It is noteworthy that HQS and HQSe can strongly absorb light in the UVA region (∼340 nm) and exhibit weak fluorescence emission in the visible light region, which comes from the keto configuration. The special optical properties of HQS and HQSe can promote their application as potential sunscreen agents.

Abstract
To reveal the influence of different substituents on the excited-state intramolecular proton transfer (ESIPT) process and photophysical properties of 4′-N, N-dimethylamino-3-hydroxyflavone (DMA3HF), two novel molecules (DMA3HF-CN and DMA3HF-NH2) were designed by introducing the classical electron-withdrawing group cyano (-CN) and electron-donating group amino (-NH2). The three molecules in the acetonitrile phase were systematically researched by applying the density functional theory (DFT) and time-dependent DFT (TD-DFT) methods. The excited-state hydrogen bond enhancement mechanism was confirmed, and the hydrogen bond intensity followed the decreasing order of DMA3HF-NH2 > DMA3HF > DMA3HF-CN, which can be explained at the electronic level by natural bond orbital, fuzzy bond order, and frontier molecular orbital analyses. Moreover, we found from the electronic spectra that the fluorescence intensity of the three molecules in keto form is relatively strong. Moreover, the calculated absorption properties indicated that introducing the electron-withdrawing group -CN could significantly improve the absorption of DMA3HF in the ultraviolet band. In summary, the introduction of an electron-donating group -NH2 can promote the ESIPT reaction of DMA3HF, without changing the photophysical properties, while introducing the electron-withdrawing group -CN can greatly improve the absorption of DMA3HF in the ultraviolet band, but hinders the occurrence of the ESIPT reaction.

Abstract
In the present work, we have systematically investigated the dual hydrogen-bonded system 2Z,2'Z-3,3'-(4,4'-methylenebis(4,1-phenylene)bis(azanediyl)bis(1,3-diphenylprop-2-en-1-one)) (abbreviated as L) utilizing quantum chemistry methods, in which the excited-state intramolecular proton transfer (ESIPT) does not conform to the usual stereotype but proceeds along the weakened intramolecular hydrogen bonds (IHBs). Two primary configurations were confirmed to coexist in the ground state (i.e., anti-L and syn-L) by calculating the Boltzmann distribution in three different solvents. Based on the cardinal geometrical parameters involved in IHBs and the interaction region indicator (IRI) isosurface, it can be revealed that the dual IHBs of L were both weakened upon photoexcitation, not least the N1-H2⋯O3 IHB was utterly destroyed in the excited state. The proton-transfer process of anti and syn in three solvents with different polarities has been analyzed by constructing S0- and S1-state potential energy surfaces (PESs). It can be concluded that only the single proton transfer behavior along N1-H2⋯O3 occurs in the S1 state, and the corresponding energy barrier is gradually enlarged with increasing solvent polarity. To further expound the weakened IHB-induced ESIPT mechanism, the scanned PESs connecting the transition state (TS) structures and the initial forms indicate that the ESIPT process is infeasible without the appropriate structural torsion. Our work not only unveils the extraordinary ESIPT process of L, but also complements the results obtained from previous experiments.

Abstract
The first measurement of lepton-jet momentum imbalance and azimuthal correlation in lepton-proton scattering at high momentum transfer is presented. These data, taken with the H1 detector at HERA, are corrected for detector effects using an unbinned machine learning algorithm (multifold), which considers eight observables simultaneously in this first application. The unfolded cross sections are compared with calculations performed within the context of collinear or transverse-momentum-dependent factorization in quantum chromodynamics as well as Monte Carlo event generators.

Abstract
In this work, the effects of atomic electronegativity (O, S, and Se atoms) on the competitive double excited-state intramolecular proton transfer (ESIPT) reactions and photophysical characteristics of uralenol (URA) were systematically explored by using the density functional theory (DFT) and time-dependent DFT (TD-DFT) methods. The calculated hydrogen bond parameters, infrared (IR) vibrational spectra, reduced density gradient (RDG) scatter plots, interaction region indicator (IRI) isosurface and topology parameters have confirmed the six-membered intramolecular hydrogen bond (IHB) O4H5…O3 is the stronger one in all the three studied compounds. Subsequently, frontier molecular orbitals (FMOs) and natural bond orbital (NBO) population analysis essentially uncover that the electron redistribution has induced the ESIPT process. Besides, the constructed potential energy curves (PECs) have indicated that the ESIPT process prefers to occur along the O4H5…O3 rather than the O1H2…O3 and the proton-transfer energy barrier is gradually decreased with the weakening of atomic electronegativity from URA to URA-S and URA-Se. In a conclusion, the attenuating of atomic electronegativity has enhanced the IHBs of URA and thereby promoting the ESIPT reaction, which is helpful for further developing novel fluorophores based on ESIPT behavior in the future.

Abstract
BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE Long-range connections are more severely damaged and relevant for cognition in long-standing MS. However, the evolution of such coordinated network damage in patients with MS is unclear. We investigated whether short- and long-range structural connections sustained equal damage in early-stage MS. MATERIALS AND METHODS Sixteen patients with early-stage MS and 17 healthy controls were scanned by high-resolution, multishell diffusion imaging on 7T MR imaging and assessed cognitively. We investigated macrostructural properties in short- and long-range fibers and of microstructural metrics derived from 2 quantitative diffusion MR imaging models: DTI and neurite orientation dispersion and density imaging. RESULTS Patients had significant WM integrity damage-that is, higher radial diffusivity and a lower intracellular volume fraction in the focal WM lesions. Compared with the healthy controls, the patients had noticeable microstructure changes in both short- and long-range fibers, including increased radial diffusivity, mean diffusivity, and axial diffusivity. Z scores further indicated greater damage in the short-range fibers than in the long-range fibers. CONCLUSIONS Our findings demonstrate that more severe demyelination preceding axonal degeneration occurs in short-range connections but not in long-range connections in early-stage MS, suggesting the possibility that there are cortical lesions that are undetectable by current MR imaging.

Abstract
In this contribution, the solvent effects on the excited-state intramolecular proton transfer (ESIPT) and photophysical properties of 2-(4-(diphenylamine)phenyl)-3-hydroxy-4H-chromen-4-one (3HF-OH, Dyes Pigm. 2021, 184, 108865) in the dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO), acetonitrile (ACN), dichloromethane (DCM) and cyclohexane (CYH) phases have been comprehensively explored by using the density functional theory (DFT) and time-dependent density functional theory (TD-DFT) methods. The obtained bond lengths, bond angles and infrared (IR) vibration analysis related to the intramolecular hydrogen bond (IHB) reveal that the IHB intensity of 3HF-OH is weakened as the solvent polarity increased. Besides, the ESIPT process changes from the endothermic to the exothermic with the enlargement of solvent polarity, and the reaction barrier increases gradually. It is worth noting that the molecular configuration torsion of 3HF-OH is gradually intensified with the decline of solvent polarity, which aggravates the twisted intramolecular charge transfer (TICT) state and thereby partially attenuates the short-wavelength fluorescence of 3HF-OH in the CYH solvent. In addition to these, the structural torsion has restrained the occurrence of the ESIPT behavior by means of elevating the energy barrier. This theoretical research would provide valuable guidance for regulating and controlling the photophysical behavior of compounds via the strategy of changing solvent polarity.

Abstract
Microplastics (MPs) are widely detected in many marine fishes. Fish meal contaminated by MP may constitute a potential threat to aquaculture animals. This study analyzed the characteristics of MP in fish meals from ten major fish meal-producing countries around the world. Microplastics were isolated from fish meal, examined under a microscope and identified using Fourier transform infrared microspectroscopy (μ-FT-IR). The results showed that MP pollution was widely detected in fish meal samples from ten countries. The average MP abundance of fish meals was 5.5 ± 1.6 items/g, with higher levels in China, Peru and Myanmar, which might be related to the high pollution level in fish and their habitats. In isolated MPs, fibers were the main shape type, and the most common size was 500-1000 μm. A total of 6 polymers were identified, with cellophane (CP), polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene teraphalate (PET) being the most common types. The total amount of MP ingestion from fish meals by different cultured animals was also estimated, with Atlantic salmon Salmon salar ingesting the largest number of MPs (9361 items), and red swamp crayfish Procambarus clarkii ingesting the smallest number of MPs (19 items). Thus, fish meal constitutes an important exposure route of MPs for aquaculture animals. The results of this study will provide a basis to assess the potential health risks of MPs in fish meals around the world.
