Abstract
PURPOSE/OBJECTIVE(S) Optical surface monitoring system (OSMS) could achieve continuous monitoring of patient position through a nonradiographic and noninvasive technology, which has been widely applied to many sites of radiation therapy including breast, intracranial, head and neck, abdomen, and the extremities. However, no study has investigated the application of OSMS in radiation therapy of vulvar cancer. In this study, we hypothesized using OSMS would reduce setup error in the vulvar cancer compared to standard laser-based setup (SLS). MATERIALS/METHODS A single-center prospective trial included 10 patients with vulvar cancer treated with intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) for a total of 250 fractions. Every patient was immobilized with Styrofoam in a frog-leg position and used marks on the patient's skin to align to the room lasers for pre-setup. The treatment couch values of lateral (Lat), longitudinal (Lng), vertical (Vrt) in three translation directions and Rtn (the rotation along the z axis), Pitch (the rotation along the x axis), Roll (the rotation along the y axis) in three rotations directions were recorded. Then completed the setup of patient with information from a surface imaging system and obtained deviation values. Setup is followed by pretreatment cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) to further verify patient and target position by registering to the planning CT with respect to bony anatomy. With CBCT as a gold standard for patient setup, the absolute values of setup error and error distribution of SLS method and OSMS method from the same patient in above six directions were compared. RESULTS The mean of absolute values of setup errors in the SLS method were significantly higher than those of OSMS method in Lat (0.34cm vs 0.20cm), Lng (0.42cm vs 0.29cm), Vrt (0.43cm vs 0.28cm) and Rtn (0.90° vs 0.67°) directions (P<0.05). The mean errors in SLS and OSMS methods in Pitch and Roll directions were 0.93° and 1.02° (P = 0.16), 0.42° and 0.45° (P = 0.48), respectively, with no significant difference. In the OSMS method, the distribution rates of the setup errors within 0.5cm in three translation directions and within 1.5° in three rotations directions were significantly higher in Lat (90.8% vs 80.4%), Lng (82.0% vs 68.8%), Vrt (83.2% vs 65.6%), and Rtn (91.2% vs 80.4%) directions than those of SLS method (P<0.05). In the Pitch (79.2% vs 80.4%) and Roll (97.2% vs 98.0%) directions, the distribution rates of the OSMS method were slightly lower than those of the SLS method, with no significant difference (P = 0.738 and P = 0.559). CONCLUSION The implementation of OSMS in IMRT for vulvar cancer could reduce setup error and increase precision of setup, especially for the directions of Lat, Lng, Vrt and Rtn.

Wang G, Junfang Y, Wang W, Zhang FQ. Reducing CTV to PTV Margins with Daily Adaptive Radiotherapy in the Postoperative Treatment of Endometrial and Cervical Cancer. Int J Radiat Oncol Biol Phys 2023; 117:e552. [PMID: 37785698 DOI: 10.1016/j.ijrobp.2023.06.1858] [Citation(s) in RCA: 0] [Impact Index Per Article: 0] [Reference Citation Analysis] [Abstract] [Track Full Text] [Journal Information] [Subscribe] [Scholar Register] [Indexed: 10/04/2023]
Abstract
PURPOSE/OBJECTIVE(S) In the postoperative treatment of endometrial and cervical cancer, a PTV expansion of 1.5cm or greater would be generally recommended to ensure adequate coverage of CTV with no or minimal image guidance. Online adaptive radiotherapy (oART) has demonstrated to be feasible to reduce inter-fractional radiotherapy errors as it re-optimizes treatment plan every fraction. In this study, we hypothesized using daily cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT)-guided oART would reduce CTV to PTV margins in the postoperative treatment of endometrial and cervical cancer. MATERIALS/METHODS Seven patients from a single-center with postoperative endometrial and cervical cancer treated with daily CBCT-guided oART were retrospectively reviewed. A total dose of 45Gy is prescribed in CTV-vaginal cuff (CTV-V) and CTV- regional lymph nodes (CTV-N) with daily fractions of 1.8Gy for five fractions per week. A total of 175 radiotherapy fractions of daily pre-treatment CBCTs and post-treatment CBCTs scans were uploaded to oART emulator for CTV-V and CTV-N contouring by a single observer. CTVpre to PTVpre margins of 5, 7, 10, 12, 15mm was used in all directions. Each post-treatment CBCT was rigidly registered to the pre-treatment CBCT with respect to bony anatomy. The CTVpost was projected onto the PTVpre and assess required planning margins to encompass the CTVpost. RESULTS The average total treatment time (post-treatment CBCTs - pre-treatment CBCTs) was 23 min 14s (range: 18min 53s ∼ 28min 53s). For all fractions, the adapted plan was selected, and the volume of the PTV-V and PTV-N receiving 100% of the prescribed dose or more (V100%) was more than required 95%. A uniform three-dimensional CTV-Npre to PTV-Npre margin of 5mm could encompass CTV-Npost in all fractions (100%; 175/175f). A uniform three-dimensional CTV-Vpre to PTV-Vpre margin of 10mm could encompass CTV-Vpost in all fractions (100%; 175/175f) and 5mm could encompass 98% fractions (172/175f). In the fractions of 5mm margins that failed to encompass CTV-Vpost, the volume of CTV missed three times in anterior-posterior directions and once in lateral direction. Compared with scheduled plan, adapted plan with 5mm margins significantly reduced the mean dose to bladder (Dmean: 103.97 cGy vs 107.20 cGy, P<0.05) and rectum (Dmean: 117.82 cGy vs 123.67 cGy, P<0.05), and achieved better PTV-N (V100%: 97.8% vs 90.0%, P<0.05) and PTV-V (V100%:96.8% vs 85.4%, P<0.05) dose coverage in 175 fractions. CONCLUSION In this study, 5mm CTV to PTV margins was adequate to encompass 100% fractions of CTV-N and 98% fractions of the CTV-V. Adapted plan with 5mm margins significantly reduced the dose to critical organ at risks while improving target coverage.

Abstract
Two new excited states, Ω_{c}(3185)^{0} and Ω_{c}(3327)^{0}, are observed in the Ξ_{c}^{+}K^{-} invariant-mass spectrum using proton-proton collision data collected by the LHCb experiment, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 9 fb^{-1}. Five previously observed excited Ω_{c}^{0} states are confirmed, namely Ω_{c}(3000)^{0}, Ω_{c}(3050)^{0}, Ω_{c}(3065)^{0}, Ω_{c}(3090)^{0}, and Ω_{c}(3119)^{0}. The masses and widths of these seven states are measured with the highest precision to date.

Evidence of a J/ψK_{S}^{0} Structure in B^{0}→J/ψϕK_{S}^{0} Decays. PHYSICAL REVIEW LETTERS 2023; 131:131901. [PMID: 37832008 DOI: 10.1103/physrevlett.131.131901] [Citation(s) in RCA: 0] [Impact Index Per Article: 0] [Reference Citation Analysis] [Abstract] [Track Full Text] [Subscribe] [Scholar Register] [Received: 01/17/2023] [Accepted: 03/21/2023] [Indexed: 10/15/2023]
Abstract
An amplitude analysis of B^{0}→J/ψϕK_{S}^{0} decays is performed using proton-proton collision data, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 9 fb^{-1}, collected with the LHCb detector at center-of-mass energies of 7, 8, and 13 TeV. Evidence with a significance of 4.0 standard deviations of a structure in the J/ψK_{S}^{0} system, named T_{ψs1}^{θ}(4000)^{0}, is seen, with its mass and width measured to be 3991_{-10}^{+12} _{-17}^{+9} MeV/c^{2} and 105_{-25}^{+29} _{-23}^{+17} MeV, respectively, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic. The T_{ψs1}^{θ}(4000)^{0} state is likely to be the isospin partner of the T_{ψs1}^{θ}(4000)^{+} state, previously observed in the J/ψK^{+} system of the B^{+}→J/ψϕK^{+} decay. When isospin symmetry for the charged and neutral T_{ψs1}^{θ}(4000) states is assumed, the signal significance increases to 5.4 standard deviations.

Abstract
The ratios of branching fractions R(D^{*})≡B(B[over ¯]→D^{*}τ^{-}ν[over ¯]_{τ})/B(B[over ¯]→D^{*}μ^{-}ν[over ¯]_{μ}) and R(D^{0})≡B(B^{-}→D^{0}τ^{-}ν[over ¯]_{τ})/B(B^{-}→D^{0}μ^{-}ν[over ¯]_{μ}) are measured, assuming isospin symmetry, using a sample of proton-proton collision data corresponding to 3.0 fb^{-1} of integrated luminosity recorded by the LHCb experiment during 2011 and 2012. The tau lepton is identified in the decay mode τ^{-}→μ^{-}ν_{τ}ν[over ¯]_{μ}. The measured values are R(D^{*})=0.281±0.018±0.024 and R(D^{0})=0.441±0.060±0.066, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second is systematic. The correlation between these measurements is ρ=-0.43. The results are consistent with the current average of these quantities and are at a combined 1.9 standard deviations from the predictions based on lepton flavor universality in the standard model.

Abstract
OBJECTIVES To compare clinical characteristics, including the frequency of cutaneous, extramuscular manifestations, and malignancy, between adults with anti-synthetase syndrome (ASyS) and dermatomyositis (DM). METHODS Using data regarding adults from the MYONET registry, a cohort of DM patients with anti-Mi2/-TIF1ɣ/-NXP2/-SAE/-MDA5 autoantibodies, and a cohort of ASyS patients with anti-tRNA synthetase autoantibodies (anti-Jo1/-PL7/-PL12/-OJ/-EJ/-Zo/-KS) were identified. Patients with DM sine dermatitis or with discordant dual autoantibody specificities were excluded. Sub-cohorts of patients with ASyS with or without skin involvement were defined based on presence of DM-type rashes (heliotrope rash, Gottron's papules/sign, violaceous rash, shawl sign, V sign, erythroderma, and/or periorbital rash). RESULTS In total 1,054 patients were included (DM, n = 405; ASyS, n = 649). In ASyS cohort, 31% (n = 203) had DM-type skin involvement (ASyS-DMskin). A higher frequency of extramuscular manifestations, including Mechanic's hands, Raynaud's phenomenon, arthritis, interstitial lung disease, and cardiac involvement differentiated ASyS-DMskin from DM (all p< 0.001), whereas higher frequency of any of four DM-type rashes: heliotrope rash (n = 248, 61% vs n = 90, 44%), violaceous rash (n = 166, 41% vs n = 57, 9%), V sign (n = 124, 31% vs n = 28, 4%), and shawl sign (n = 133, 33% vs n = 18, 3%) differentiated DM from ASyS-DMskin (all p< 0.005). Cancer-associated myositis (CAM) was more frequent in DM (n = 67, 17%) compared with ASyS (n = 21, 3%) and ASyS-DMskin (n = 7, 3%) cohorts (both p< 0.001). CONCLUSION DM-type rashes are frequent in patients with ASyS; however, distinct clinical manifestations differentiate these patients from classical DM. Skin involvement in ASyS does not necessitate increased malignancy surveillance. These findings will inform future ASyS classification criteria and patient management.

Abstract
OBJECTIVES This study aimed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of tofacitinib for the treatment of anti-melanoma differentiation-associated 5 gene (anti-MDA5) antibody-positive dermatomyositis (DM). METHODS This study included 52 patients with anti-MDA5 antibody-positive DM (MDA5 + DM) who were treated with tofacitinib and followed up. Clinical and laboratory data of these patients were recorded between January 2019 and June 2022. SPSS was used for all statistical analyses. RESULTS The mean age of patients with MDA5 + DM was 45 ± 12.4 years, and the median disease duration was 6.5 months (range, 3-13 months). The mean dosage of glucocorticoids was 34.7 ± 20.9 mg/d at the initiation of tofacitinib therapy. Overall, 47 patients were followed up for a mean duration of 7.8 ± 6.2 months. We found that the clinical symptoms of 28 patients (59.6%) were improved, but 1 patient (2.1%) died because of severe infection. Moreover, complications occurred in 25 patients (53.2%), among whom 19 patients had infections. Older age and C-reactive protein levels close to the upper value in reference range at the initial treatment were found to be the potential risk factors of infection. Furthermore, patients with cutaneous ulcers were found to have a lower risk of infection. CONCLUSION Tofacitinib can be used as a potential therapeutic option for MDA5 + DM. The occurrence of infection requires special attention during treatment, particularly in patients with older age and C-reactive protein levels close to the upper value in reference range.

Upregulation of the CD155-CD226 Axis Is Associated With Muscle Inflammation and Disease Severity in Idiopathic Inflammatory Myopathies. NEUROLOGY(R) NEUROIMMUNOLOGY & NEUROINFLAMMATION 2023; 10:e200143. [PMID: 37491355 PMCID: PMC10368451 DOI: 10.1212/nxi.0000000000200143] [Citation(s) in RCA: 0] [Impact Index Per Article: 0] [Reference Citation Analysis] [Abstract] [Track Full Text] [Subscribe] [Scholar Register] [Received: 01/20/2023] [Accepted: 06/01/2023] [Indexed: 07/27/2023]
Abstract
BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES The CD155-CD226/T-cell Ig and immunoreceptor tyrosine-based inhibitory motif (ITIM) domain (TIGIT) pathway plays a critical role in regulating T-cell responses and is being targeted clinically. However, research on the role of this pathway in autoimmune diseases is limited. This study aimed to investigate the expression and tissue-specific roles of CD155-CD226/TIGIT pathway molecules in the inflamed muscles of patients with idiopathic inflammatory myopathies (IIMs). METHODS Immunohistochemistry, Western blot analysis, and polychromatic immunofluorescence staining were performed to examine the expression of CD155, CD226, and TIGIT in skeletal muscle biopsies from 30 patients with dermatomyositis (DM), 10 patients with amyopathic DM (ADM), 20 patients with immune-mediated necrotizing myopathy (IMNM), 5 patients with dysferlinopathy, and 4 healthy controls. Flow cytometry analysis was used to analyze the functions of T cells with different phenotypes. RESULTS Strong expression of CD155 was observed in patients with DM and IMNM, while its expression was largely negative in those with ADM and dysferlinopathy and healthy controls. The costimulatory receptor CD226 was highly expressed on muscle-infiltrating cells, while the coinhibitory receptor TIGIT was expressed at low levels. These infiltrating CD226+ cells were mainly activated effector T cells that localized adjacent to CD155-expressing myofibers, but were faintly detectable within the muscle fascicles lacking CD155. A strong positive correlation between CD155 and CD226 expression scores was also observed. Polychromatic immunofluorescence staining revealed that CD155+ muscle cells coexpressed major histocompatibility complex classes I and II, and tumor necrosis factor alpha expression was detected in CD226+ T cells at their close sites with the myofibers. Furthermore, the expression levels of CD155 and CD226 showed a positive correlation with creatine kinase, lactate dehydrogenase, and the muscle histopathology damage scores and an inverse correlation with the Manual Muscle Testing-8 scores. In addition, CD155 and CD226 expressions were significantly decreased in representative patients who achieved remission posttreatment. DISCUSSION These findings demonstrate that the CD155-CD226 axis is highly activated in inflamed muscle tissues of patients with IIM and is associated with muscle disease severity. Our data uncover the immunopathogenic role of the axis in the pathology of IIMs.

Abstract
Searches for the rare hadronic decays B^{0}→pp[over ¯]pp[over ¯] and B_{s}^{0}→pp[over ¯]pp[over ¯] are performed using proton-proton collision data recorded by the LHCb experiment and corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 9 fb^{-1}. Significances of 9.3σ and 4.0σ, including statistical and systematic uncertainties, are obtained for the B^{0}→pp[over ¯]pp[over ¯] and B_{s}^{0}→pp[over ¯]pp[over ¯] signals, respectively. The branching fractions are measured relative to the topologically similar normalization decays B^{0}→J/ψ(→pp[over ¯])K^{*0}(→K^{+}π^{-}) and B_{s}^{0}→J/ψ(→pp[over ¯])ϕ(→K^{+}K^{-}). The branching fractions are measured to be B(B^{0}→pp[over ¯]pp[over ¯])=(2.2±0.4±0.1±0.1)×10^{-8} and B(B_{s}^{0}→pp[over ¯]pp[over ¯])=(2.3±1.0±0.2±0.1)×10^{-8}. In these measurements, the first uncertainty is statistical, the second is systematic, and the third one is due to the external branching fraction of the normalization channel.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the feasibility and clinical effects of using free perforator propeller myocutaneous flap from buttock in repairing complex wounds in the buttock with deep dead cavity. Methods: A retrospective observational study was conducted. From June 2020 to June 2022, 9 patients with complex wounds in the buttock with deep dead cavity who met the inclusion criteria were admitted to Lanzhou University Second Hospital, including 6 males and 3 females, aged 26 to 62 years, with original wound area ranging from 4.0 cm×3.0 cm to 8.0 cm×7.0 cm and dead cavity depth of 7 to 11 cm. All the wounds were repaired with free perforator propeller myocutaneous flap from buttock, with flap area of 6.0 cm×2.5 cm to 13.0 cm×7.0 cm and muscle flap length of 6 to 11 cm. All the wounds in the donor area were closed and sutured directly. Postoperative myocutaneous flap survival, complications, as well as donor and recipient wound healing were observed, and the shape of donor and recipient areas were followed up. Results: Congestion occurred under the myocutaneous flap of one patient due to poor drainage on post surgery day 2, which was healed after 15 days of drainage and dressing change. The myocutaneous flaps of other patients survived successfully after surgery. The wounds in the donor and recipient areas were all well healed. During the follow-up of 3 to 10 months, the donor and recipient areas were full in shape, with little difference from the healthy side, and were able to bear pressure. Conclusions: The free perforator propeller myocutaneous flap from buttock can repair the deep dead cavity and surface wounds at the same time. The use of this myocutaneous flap in repairing complex wounds in the buttock with deep dead cavity results in minimal damage to the donor area, allows pressure-bearing of the donor and recipient areas after surgery, and ensures a full buttock shape.

Test of Lepton Universality in b→sℓ^{+}ℓ^{-} Decays. PHYSICAL REVIEW LETTERS 2023; 131:051803. Abstract
The first simultaneous test of muon-electron universality using B^{+}→K^{+}ℓ^{+}ℓ^{-} and B^{0}→K^{*0}ℓ^{+}ℓ^{-} decays is performed, in two ranges of the dilepton invariant-mass squared, q^{2}. The analysis uses beauty mesons produced in proton-proton collisions collected with the LHCb detector between 2011 and 2018, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 9 fb^{-1}. Each of the four lepton universality measurements reported is either the first in the given q^{2} interval or supersedes previous LHCb measurements. The results are compatible with the predictions of the Standard Model.

First Observation of a Doubly Charged Tetraquark and Its Neutral Partner. PHYSICAL REVIEW LETTERS 2023; 131:041902. Abstract
A combined amplitude analysis is performed for the decays B^{0}→D[over ¯]^{0}D_{s}^{+}π^{-} and B^{+}→D^{-}D_{s}^{+}π^{+}, which are related by isospin symmetry. The analysis is based on data collected by the LHCb detector in proton-proton collisions at center-of-mass energies of 7, 8, and 13 TeV. The full data sample corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 9 fb^{-1}. Two new resonant states with masses of 2.908±0.011±0.020 GeV and widths of 0.136±0.023±0.013 GeV are observed, which decay to D_{s}^{+}π^{+} and D_{s}^{+}π^{-} respectively. The former state indicates the first observation of a doubly charged open-charm tetraquark state with minimal quark content [cs[over ¯]ud[over ¯]], and the latter state is a neutral tetraquark composed of [cs[over ¯]u[over ¯]d] quarks. Both states are found to have spin-parity of 0^{+}, and their resonant parameters are consistent with each other, which suggests that they belong to an isospin triplet.

Search for Rare Decays of D^{0} Mesons into Two Muons. PHYSICAL REVIEW LETTERS 2023; 131:041804. Abstract
A search for the very rare D^{0}→μ^{+}μ^{-} decay is performed using data collected by the LHCb experiment in proton-proton collisions at sqrt[s]=7, 8, and 13 TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 9 fb^{-1}. The search is optimized for D^{0} mesons from D^{*+}→D^{0}π^{+} decays but is also sensitive to D^{0} mesons from other sources. No evidence for an excess of events over the expected background is observed. An upper limit on the branching fraction of this decay is set at B(D^{0}→μ^{+}μ^{-})<3.1×10^{-9} at a 90% C.L. This represents the world's most stringent limit, constraining models of physics beyond the standard model.

Observation of a J/ψΛ Resonance Consistent with a Strange Pentaquark Candidate in B^{-}→J/ψΛp[over ¯] Decays. PHYSICAL REVIEW LETTERS 2023; 131:031901. Abstract
An amplitude analysis of B^{-}→J/ψΛp[over ¯] decays is performed using 4400 signal candidates selected on a data sample of pp collisions recorded at center-of-mass energies of 7, 8, and 13 TeV with the LHCb detector, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 9 fb^{-1}. A narrow resonance in the J/ψΛ system, consistent with a pentaquark candidate with strangeness, is observed with high significance. The mass and the width of this new state are measured to be 4338.2±0.7±0.4 MeV and 7.0±1.2±1.3 MeV, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic. The spin is determined to be 1/2 and negative parity is preferred. Because of the small Q-value of the reaction, the most precise single measurement of the B^{-} mass to date, 5279.44±0.05±0.07 MeV, is obtained.

Ge Y, Yang H, Jiang W, Tian X, Lu X, Wang G. Clinical characteristics of myositis patients with isolated anti-U1 ribonucleoprotein antibody resemble immune-mediated necrotizing myopathy. Ther Adv Musculoskelet Dis 2023; 15:1759720X231181336. [PMID: 37465567 PMCID: PMC10350785 DOI: 10.1177/1759720x231181336] [Citation(s) in RCA: 0] [Impact Index Per Article: 0] [Reference Citation Analysis] [Abstract] [Key Words] [Grants] [Track Full Text] [Download PDF] [Figures] [Journal Information] [Subscribe] [Scholar Register] [Received: 01/21/2023] [Accepted: 05/24/2023] [Indexed: 07/20/2023] Open
Abstract
Background Anti-U1 ribonucleoprotein (U1RNP) antibodies were associated with connective tissue diseases (CTDs), but the clinical characteristics of this antibody in Chinese myositis patients have not been studied. Objective We aim to analyze the clinical features of myositis patients who test positive for anti-U1RNP antibodies and delineate a subgroup of myositis. Design This is a retrospective cohort study. Methods We reviewed the clinical data of myositis patients with anti-U1RNP antibodies and compared them to those with anti-signal recognition particle (SRP) and hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl-CoA reductase (HMGCR) antibody-associated immune-mediated necrotizing myopathy (IMNM). Results A total of 30 adult cases were identified; median age was 47.5 years and 24 (80%) were females, and 12 patients did not coexist with myositis-specific antibodies (MSAs) (isolated anti-U1RNP). The serum creatine kinase (CK) was significantly higher in patients with isolated anti-U1RNP (2182.5 U/L versus 289 U/L, p = 0.01), and the number of patients with CK > 2000 U/L was higher compared to that in anti-U1RNP antibody patients coexisting with MSAs (66.7% versus 16.7%, p = 0.009). The prevalence of IMNM in patients' muscle pathology with isolated anti-U1RNP was significantly higher (75%, p = 0.003). Skin rashes were less common in isolated anti-U1RNP group (p < 0.05). Of the 25 individuals with available pulmonary high-resolution CT (HRCT), 14 (56%) were diagnosed with interstitial lung disease (ILD). The incidence of muscular weakness, dysphagia, or levels of CK was not different between the isolated anti-U1RNP antibody individuals and the anti-HMGCR or SRP-IMNM groups (p > 0.05). But the frequency of Raynaud's phenomenon, arthritis, and membrane attack complex (MAC) deposits in myositis patients with isolated anti-U1RNP antibodies were higher than in anti-HMGCR and SRP-IMNM (all p < 0.005). There was no difference between anti-U1RNP patients with and without Ro-52 (p > 0.05). Isolated anti-U1RNP individuals showed marked improvements in muscle strength, and the remission rate in 1 and 2 years was significantly higher than that in anti-HMGCR and SRP-IMNM (p < 0.05). Conclusions The clinical and pathological features of myositis patients with isolated anti-U1RNP antibodies were similar to IMNM. Arthritis and ILD are the most common extramuscular clinical features. Most respond well to treatment and have a good prognosis.

Abstract
The elliptic (v_{2}) and triangular (v_{3}) azimuthal anisotropy coefficients in central ^{3}He+Au, d+Au, and p+Au collisions at sqrt[s_{NN}]=200 GeV are measured as a function of transverse momentum (p_{T}) at midrapidity (|η|<0.9), via the azimuthal angular correlation between two particles both at |η|<0.9. While the v_{2}(p_{T}) values depend on the colliding systems, the v_{3}(p_{T}) values are system independent within the uncertainties, suggesting an influence on eccentricity from subnucleonic fluctuations in these small-sized systems. These results also provide stringent constraints for the hydrodynamic modeling of these systems.

Abstract
Objective: To understand the prevalence and influencing factors of tobacco dependence among the population aged 15-69 in Tianjin to provide the basis for formulating targeted smoking control intervention policies and carrying out scientific smoking cessation intervention services. Methods: The data of this study comes from the 2018 Tianjin residents' health literacy monitoring survey. Probability-proportional-to-size sampling is adopted for sampling. SPSS 26.0 software was used for data cleaning and statistical analysis, and χ2 test and binary logistic regression were used to analyze the influencing factors. Results: A total of 14 641 subjects aged 15-69 were included in this study. After standardized, with a smoking rate of 25.5%, including 45.5% for men and 5.2% for women. Among the population aged 15-69, the prevalence of tobacco dependence was 10.7%; among current smokers, the prevalence rate of tobacco dependence is 40.1%, of which the prevalence rate of male tobacco dependence is 40.0%, and the prevalence rate of female tobacco dependence is 40.6%. According to multivariate logistic regression analysis, people who live in rural areas, have an education level of primary school or below, smoke every day, smoke the first cigarette ≤15 years old, smoke ≥21 cigarettes per day, and smoke for more than 20 packet years, people who report poor physical health are more likely to suffer from tobacco dependence (all P<0.05); age and smoking age did not affect the possibility of tobacco dependence (all P>0.05). Among current smokers, there was no significant difference in their willingness to quit smoking whether they had tobacco dependence (P>0.05). The proportion of people with tobacco dependence who have tried to quit smoking and failed is higher (P<0.001). Conclusions: The prevalence of tobacco dependence among smokers aged 15-69 in Tianjin is high, and the demand for quitting smoking is great. Therefore, smoking cessation publicity should be carried out for key groups, and smoking cessation intervention work in Tianjin should be continuously promoted.

Abstract
The current study aimed to evaluate the early efficacy in infants with isolated non-syndromic sagittal synostosis who underwent minimally invasive endoscopic-assisted surgery. The clinical data of infants with isolated non-syndromic sagittal synostosis who were admitted to the Department of Neurosurgery of the Children's Hospital of Nanjing Medical University and underwent endoscopic-assisted surgery from October 2018 to December 2021 were retrospectively analyzed. All the infants underwent minimally invasive endoscopic-assisted surgery, and were treated with supine sleeping position after surgery. Computer-aided reconstruction technique was used to reconstruct and measure the thin-slice CT scan images of the head before and 3 months after surgery, and the differences in cranial index (CI), cranial cavity volume and angle drawn between the cranial vertex, nasion, and opisthocranion (VNO angle) of preoperative and postoperative groups were analyzed. A total of 103 infants were included in the final analysis, including 85 males and 18 females. The age at surgery was (2.1±0.8) months, and the weight was (6.1±0.9) kg. The postoperative CI was (84±6)%, which increased obviously compared with the pre-operation [(70±5)%] (P<0.001). The cranial volume of post-operation was (947±130) cm³, which was larger than that of the pre-operation [(748±104) cm³] (P<0.001). The VNO angle after surgery was (45±4)°, which showed a significant reduction compared with the pre-operation [(55±4)°] (P<0.001). The correction of head shape was satisfactory. For the treatment of sagittal synostosis in infants, minimally invasive endoscopic-assisted surgery is safe and effective, and in the case of switching from an auxiliary helmet to a supine position, the postoperative correction efficacy of head shape is better.

Abstract
Background Smoking during pregnancy has been associated with reduced risk of a spectrum of hypertensive (HTN) disorders, known as the "smoking-hypertension paradox." Objective We sought to test potential epidemiologic explanations for the smoking-hypertension paradox. Methods We analyzed 8,510 pregnant people in the Boston Birth Cohort, including 4,027 non-Hispanic Black and 2,428 Hispanic pregnancies. Study participants self-reported tobacco, alcohol, cannabis, opioids, or cocaine use during pregnancy. We used logistic regression to assess effect modification by race/ethnicity, and confounding of concurrent substances on hypertensive disorders or prior pregnancy. We also investigated early gestational age as a collider or competing risk for pre-eclampsia, using cause-specific Cox models and Fine-Gray models, respectively. Results We replicated the paradox showing smoking to be protective against hypertensive disorders among Black participants who used other substances as well (aOR: 0.61, 95% CI: 0.41, 0.93), but observed null effects for Hispanic participants (aOR: 1.14, 95% CI: 0.55, 2.36). In our cause-specific Cox regression, the effects of tobacco use were reduced to null effects with pre-eclampsia (aOR: 0.81, 95% CI: 0.63, 1.04) after stratifying for preterm birth. For the Fine-Gray competing risk analysis, the paradoxical associations remained. The smoking paradox was either not observed or reversed after accounting for race/ethnicity, other substance use, and collider-stratification due to preterm birth. Conclusions These findings offer new insights into this paradox and underscore the importance of considering multiple sources of bias in assessing the smoking-hypertension association in pregnancy.

Abstract
Highly immunogenic nucleotide fragments from 3 genes of Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae strain 232 were selected using information software technology. After repeating each fragment three times, a total of 9 nucleotide fragments were joined together to form a new nucleotide sequence called Mhp2321092bp. Mhp2321092bp was directly synthesized and cloned into a pET100 vector and expressed in Escherichia coli. After purification, the proteins were successfully validated by SDS-PAGE and Western blotting using mouse His-tag antibody and pig anti-Mhp serum. BALB/c mice were intraperitoneally injected with purified proteins in the high-dose (100 μg), medium-dose group (50 μg) and low-dose (10 μg) groups. Mice in each group were injected on day 1, day 8 and day 15 of feeding, respectively. Serum samples were collected from all mice on the day before immunization and on day 22 after immunization. The antibody level in the mouse serum was detected using western blotting using purified expressed proteins as antigens. IL-2, TNF-α and IFN-γ were simultaneously detected in the mouse serum by ELISA. The results showed that the 60 kDa protein was successfully expressed and reacted specifically with the specific serum Mhp His-Tag mouse monoclonal antibody and pig anti-Mhp serum. From day 0 to day 22 of immunization, IFN-γ increased from 269.52 to 467.74 pg/mL, IL-2 increased from 14.03 to 145.16 pg/mL, and TNF-α increased from 6.86 to 12.37 pg/mL. The IgG antibody in mice increased significantly from 0 day to day 22 after immunization. This study suggests that the expressed recombinant protein may serve as one of the novel vaccine candidates for Mhp.

Abstract
We report here the first observation of directed flow (v_{1}) of the hypernuclei _{Λ}^{3}H and _{Λ}^{4}H in mid-central Au+Au collisions at sqrt[s_{NN}]=3 GeV at RHIC. These data are taken as part of the beam energy scan program carried out by the STAR experiment. From 165×10^{6} events in 5%-40% centrality, about 8400 _{Λ}^{3}H and 5200 _{Λ}^{4}H candidates are reconstructed through two- and three-body decay channels. We observe that these hypernuclei exhibit significant directed flow. Comparing to that of light nuclei, it is found that the midrapidity v_{1} slopes of _{Λ}^{3}H and _{Λ}^{4}H follow baryon number scaling, implying that the coalescence is the dominant mechanism for these hypernuclei production in the 3 GeV Au+Au collisions.

Abstract
We report the triton (t) production in midrapidity (|y|<0.5) Au+Au collisions at sqrt[s_{NN}]=7.7-200 GeV measured by the STAR experiment from the first phase of the beam energy scan at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider. The nuclear compound yield ratio (N_{t}×N_{p}/N_{d}^{2}), which is predicted to be sensitive to the fluctuation of local neutron density, is observed to decrease monotonically with increasing charged-particle multiplicity (dN_{ch}/dη) and follows a scaling behavior. The dN_{ch}/dη dependence of the yield ratio is compared to calculations from coalescence and thermal models. Enhancements in the yield ratios relative to the coalescence baseline are observed in the 0%-10% most central collisions at 19.6 and 27 GeV, with a significance of 2.3σ and 3.4σ, respectively, giving a combined significance of 4.1σ. The enhancements are not observed in peripheral collisions or model calculations without critical fluctuation, and decreases with a smaller p_{T} acceptance. The physics implications of these results on the QCD phase structure and the production mechanism of light nuclei in heavy-ion collisions are discussed.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION To investigate the clinical, radiographic and pathological features of interstitial lung disease (ILD) in patients with anti-melanoma differentiation-associated gene 5 antibody-positive dermatomyositis (anti-MDA5+DM). METHODS We retrospectively analysed the medical records of patients with anti-MDA5+DM who had undergone radiological examination, and lung histopathology was performed on 17 of them. RESULTS This study examined 329 patients with anti-MDA5+DM, of whom 308 (93.6%) were diagnosed with ILD and 177 (53.8%) exhibited rapidly progressive ILD (RPILD). The most common radiographic patterns were organising pneumonia (OP) (43.2%), non-specific interstitial pneumonia (NSIP) (26.4%) and NSIP+OP (18.5%). Histological analysis showed NSIP (41.2%) and NSIP+OP (47.1%) to be the predominant patterns. However, in the 17 patients who underwent lung histopathology, the coincidence rate between radiological and histopathological diagnoses was only 11.8%. Compared with patients without RPILD, those with RPILD showed a higher prevalence of NSIP+OP (26.6% vs 10.7%, p=0.001) and a lower prevalence of NSIP pattern (21.5% vs 37.4%, p=0.002) on high-resolution CT. Furthermore, patients with radiographic patterns of NSIP+OP or diffuse alveolar damage (DAD) had more risk factors for poor prognosis, with 12-month mortality rates of 45.9% and 100%, respectively. CONCLUSIONS RPILD was commonly observed in patients with anti-MDA5+DM. OP was identified as the predominant radiographic pattern, which corresponded to a histopathological pattern of NSIP or NSIP+OP. Notably, patients exhibiting radiographic patterns of NSIP+OP or DAD were shown to have a poor prognosis.
