Abstract
Objective: To investigate the effect of enzyme-linked immunospot (ELISPOT) on accelerated co-cultured dendritic cells (acDCs) and direct detection of islet full-length antigen-specific T cell response in peripheral blood of patients with type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1DM). Methods: Sixteen patients with T1DM[9 males, 7 females, mean age(28.5±9.4)years] and 12 age-and sex-matched healthy controls were selected in the Department of Metabolism and Endocrinology, the Second Xiangya Hospital between March 2012 and August 2014. The numbers of IFN-γ secreting CD4(+)T cells responding to glutamic acid decarboxylase 65 (GAD(65)), C-peptide (CP) and insulin (INS) were detected by ELISPOT-acDCs and ELISPOT-direct assays, respectively. The positive rate of islet autoantigen and associated antigen reactive T cells under different detection assays were compared. Results: The positive rate for GAD(65), INS, and CP antigen reactive T cells detected by ELISPOT-acDCs was 1/16, 6/16 and 4/16, respectively, and T cells positive for INS in T1DM patients were higher than that in the controls (0/12) (P=0.024). Combining GAD(65), CP and INS-ELISPOT-acDCs detection, the positive rate for CD4(+) T cells in T1DM patients was higher than that in the controls (9/16 vs 1/12, P=0.016). The positive rate for GAD(65), INS, and CP antigen reactive T cells detected by ELISPOT-direct detection was 2/16, 1/16 and 7/16, respectively, and T cells positive for CP was higher than that in the controls (1/12), but the difference was not statistically significant (P=0.088). Likewise, the positive rate for CD4(+) T cells was higher in T1DM patients than that in the controls by combined GAD(65), CP and INS-ELISPOT-direct detection (8/16 vs 1/12, P=0.039). Compared with the ELISPOT-direct assay, the positive rate of INS antigen specific T cell response detected by ELISPOT-acDCs was higher (P=0.041). No statistical differences of other antigens were found between the two groups (all P>0.05). Conclusions: Both multiple islet antigens-combined CD4(+)-ELISPOT-acDCs and direct assays could provide diagnostic value of cellular immunology for T1DM patients. The ELISPOT-acDCs assay is superior to the ELISPOT-direct assay in the detection of INS antigen-specific T cell response.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Few studies have estimated the burden of infections due to antimicrobial-resistant (AMR) pathogens in China. AIM To summarize antimicrobial resistance and assess the frequency of community-associated infections (CAIs) and healthcare-associated infections (HCAIs) due to AMR pathogens in Dongguan city, China. METHODS Seven acute care hospitals provided antimicrobial susceptibility data for 2017, from which 'bug-drug' combinations were analysed. To calculate incidence proportions of CAI and incidence densities of HCAI, data from three tertiary care hospitals were merged with patient data, obtained from the Dongguan Nosocomial Infection Surveillance System. FINDINGS A total of 16,548 pathogens were analysed. Non-susceptibility to third-generation cephalosporins (3GCs) in Escherichia coli and Klebsiella pneumoniae was 43.9% and 30.2%, respectively. Non-susceptibility to carbapenems in Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Acinetobacter baumannii was 29.5% and 50.9%, respectively. A quarter of Staphylococcus aureus (26.3%) were non-susceptible to oxacillin. The incidence density of HCAI due to E. coli non-susceptible to 3GCs and fluoroquinolones combined was 0.09 (95% confidence interval: 0.07-0.11) per 1000 patient-days. Both E. coli and K. pneumoniae were the predominant pathogens isolated from blood. Compared with the 2017 European Antimicrobial Resistance Surveillance Network report, the incidence proportion of bloodstream infections due to multidrug-resistant E. coli was significantly higher (14.9% and 4.6%, respectively). CONCLUSION The incidence of non-susceptible bug-drug combinations in Dongguan city was lower compared with China as a whole. Non-susceptible bug-drug combinations were significantly more frequent in HCAI compared with CAI. The incidence proportion of bloodstream infections due to multidrug-resistant pathogens in Dongguan City was higher compared with Europe.

Introduction
Split-night polysomnography (PSG) can be used for the diagnosis of OSA, if clinically appropriate, per AASM recommendation based on adult data. However, there are limited data in pediatric population. The aim of our study is to assess the accuracy of split-night-PSG compared with a full-night-PSG in children with OSA.
Methods
A retrospective review was performed in children and adolescents who were diagnosed with OSA during a diagnostic PSG (oAHI >1). Sleep and respiratory parameters from the full-night-PSG(F) were compared with the first three hours of the same PSG(S). Subgroup analysis was performed for age and OSA severity. The results were reported as mean±SD. All variables were compared with paired T-test.
Results
226 met the criteria for entry into analysis. The mean age was 7.8y±5.8. For the whole cohort, there were no significant differences in the mean AHI and oAHI [7.3±11.7(F)vs6.9±13.9(S),p=0.26] between full-night and split-night studies. Subgroup analysis revealed that children aged 2-12 yo (n=120) had significant differences in the mean AHI [6.1±7.1(F)vs4.8±6.4(S)p=0.002] and the mean oAHI [4.8±5.6(F)vs3.9±5.4(S)p=0.03]. In addition, subgroup analysis of mild OSA (n=137) showed a significant difference in the mean AHI (p=0.006), but not in the mean oAHI (p=0.08). There were no significant differences in the mean AHI and oAHI in the moderate to severe OSA group. Based on the first 3 hours of PSG, 16.8%(n=38) of patients were inaccurately classified to have no OSA, while the severity was misclassified in 37.6%(n=85) of patients (underestimated in 30%(n=68) and overestimated in 7.5%(n=17)).
Conclusion
Although there were no differences in the mean AHI and oAHI, split-night-PSG misclassified diagnosis and severity in a significant proportion of our pediatric cohort. In addition, the accuracy of split-night-PSG is influenced by age and severity of OSA. Further studies are needed to identify factors that play a role in these differences.

Abstract
Cancer, as one of the most life-threatening diseases, shows a high fatality rate around the world. When improving the therapeutic efficacy of conventional cancer treatments, researchers also conduct extensive studies into alternative therapeutic approaches, which are safe, valid, and economical. Phototherapies, including photodynamic therapy (PDT) and photothermal therapy (PTT), are tumor-ablative and function-reserving oncologic interventions, showing strong potential in clinical cancer treatment. During phototherapies, the non-toxic phototherapeutic agents can be activated upon light irradiation to induce cell death without causing much damage to normal tissues. Besides, with the rapid development of nanotechnology in the past decades, phototheranostic nanomedicine also has attracted tremendous interests aiming to continuously refine their performance. Herein, we reviewed the recent progress of phototheranostic nanomedicine for improved cancer therapy. After a brief introduction of the therapeutic principles and related phototherapeutic agents for PDT and PTT, the existing works on developing of phototheranostic nanomedicine by mainly focusing on their categories and applications, particularly on phototherapy-synergized cancer immunotherapy, are comprehensively reviewed. More importantly, a brief conclusion and future challenges of phototheranostic nanomedicine from our point of view are delivered in the last part of this article.

Abstract
Foshuo Wenshi Xiyu Zhongseng Jing (, Sutra on Bathing the Sangha in the Bathhouse) as an early Scripture of Han Buddhism, introduced the concept, methods and medical & health care function of bathhouse bathing in detail.The most prominent feature of it, was its distinct medical viewpoints. The medical thoughts were closely related to famous ancient Indian physician Jīvaka and Buddhism's thoughts "Mahābhūta(■, great element)" and "Nidāna (■, cause, motivation or occasion)" .It focused on the good concept of personal life, physical and mental health, objectively benefited human health.Even from the viewpoints of modern medicine, it is also very reasonable.In particular, its noble medical ethics and benevolence, is instructive for the return of humanistic spirit in the medical profession today.

Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the clinical value of dual channel dual curved endoscope in the endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) for gastric angle mucosal lesions. Methods: A descriptive cohort study was carried out. Clinicopathological data of 20 cases with gastric angle mucosal lesions undergoing ESD by dual channel dual curved endoscope in our center from October 2016 to August 2018 were collected and analyzed retrospectively. Inclusion criteria: (1) the lesion was located in the gastric angle confirmed by gastroscopy before ESD. (2) CT examination showed no distant metastasis. (3) pathological biopsy confirmed precancerous lesion or early cancerous lesion without submucosal invasion. (4) the whole operation was performed by the same endoscopist with ESD experience of about 2000 cases. Patients with previous ESD history of gastric angle and other serious diseases were excluded. The dual channel dual curved endoscopy (Olympus, GIF-2TQ260M) and other conventional endoscopic surgical instruments were used in all the cases. Complete tumor resection rate, pathological results, intraoperative and postoperative complications, operation time and hospitalization time were observed. Follow - up parameters included residual tumor, local recurrence and heterogeneous lesion. Results: Of 20 patients, 14 were male and 6 were female with an average of 55.6 years (range, 37 to 75). All the tumors located in gastric angle. Specimen size ranged from 1.2 to 5.5 (average 2.9) cm. Operation time ranged from 50 to 120 (average 85.8) minutes. Hospital stay ranged from 3 to 7 (average 5.1) days. The en bloc excision was performed successfully in all 20 cases. There was no perforation or bleeding during or after operation. Pathological results showed curative or nearly curative resection stage in all the cases. No tumor residual or recurrence was found during follow-up for 8 to 30 (average 18.5) months. Conclusion: Dual channel dual curved endoscope can provide good vision and easy control in removing the lesion completely and avoiding complications during the ESD procedure in gastric angle mucosal lesions with good long-term efficacy.

Abstract
In this paper, we propose a novel robocentric formulation of the visual–inertial navigation system (VINS) within a sliding-window filtering framework and design an efficient, lightweight, robocentric visual–inertial odometry (R-VIO) algorithm for consistent motion tracking even in challenging environments using only a monocular camera and a six-axis inertial measurement unit (IMU). The key idea is to deliberately reformulate the VINS with respect to a moving local frame, rather than a fixed global frame of reference as in the standard world-centric VINS, in order to obtain relative motion estimates of higher accuracy for updating global pose. As an immediate advantage of this robocentric formulation, the proposed R-VIO can start from an arbitrary pose, without the need to align the initial orientation with the global gravitational direction. More importantly, we analytically show that the linearized robocentric VINS does not undergo the observability mismatch issue as in the standard world-centric counterparts that has been identified in the literature as the main cause of estimation inconsistency. Furthermore, we investigate in depth the special motions that degrade the performance in the world-centric formulation and show that such degenerate cases can be easily compensated for by the proposed robocentric formulation, without resorting to additional sensors as in the world-centric formulation, thus leading to better robustness. The proposed R-VIO algorithm has been extensively validated through both Monte Carlo simulation and real-world experiments with different sensing platforms navigating in different environments, and shown to achieve better (or competitive at least) performance than the state-of-the-art VINS, in terms of consistency, accuracy, and efficiency.

Abstract
AIM To evaluate the efficacy of antibiotic therapy in osteomyelitis treatment among people with diabetes. METHODS A systematic search of PubMed, EMBASE, AMED, Web of Science, the WHO trial registry, Cochrane library databases, and ClinicalTrials.gov, in addition to hand-searching, was undertaken in July 2018. Two reviewers independently extracted data. The studies' methodological quality was assessed using the modified Jadad scale. Descriptive analysis was performed. RESULTS Seven randomized controlled trials, with 393 participants in total, were included. The antibiotic regimens, treatments and follow-up durations varied among the trials. The total scores showed that the overall methodological quality of the seven studies was high, despite two studies showing some flaws in double-blinding and withdrawals/drop-outs. Of four studies comparing different antibiotic regimens, three implied a similar remission effect, while one implied that ertapenem ± vancomycin treatment showed a higher remission rate than tigecycline treatment; this conclusion was not robust because of low power and small sample size. In the other three studies, which included two different doses of ciprofloxacin, an antibiotics group and a conservative surgical group, and two durations of the same antibiotic strategy, no significant differences in remission were reported between the groups. No difference was observed in the analyses of microbiological outcomes, superinfections and relapse, except adverse events. CONCLUSIONS There is no definitive evidence supporting the superiority of any particular antibiotic agent, dose, or administration duration in the treatment of osteomyelitis in diabetes. As the included studies had some flaws and limitations, further research is necessary.

Abstract
In this paper, we propose a new analytical preintegration theory for graph-based sensor fusion with an inertial measurement unit (IMU) and a camera (or other aiding sensors). Rather than using discrete sampling of the measurement dynamics as in current methods, we derive the closed-form solutions to the preintegration equations, yielding improved accuracy in state estimation. We advocate two new different inertial models for preintegration: (i) the model that assumes piecewise constant measurements; and (ii) the model that assumes piecewise constant local true acceleration. Through extensive Monte Carlo simulations, we show the effect that the choice of preintegration model has on estimation performance. To validate the proposed preintegration theory, we develop both direct and indirect visual–inertial navigation systems (VINSs) that leverage our preintegration. In the first, within a tightly coupled, sliding-window optimization framework, we jointly estimate the features in the window and the IMU states while performing marginalization to bound the computational cost. In the second, we loosely couple the IMU preintegration with a direct image alignment that estimates relative camera motion by minimizing the photometric errors (i.e., image intensity difference), allowing for efficient and informative loop closures. Both systems are extensively validated in real-world experiments and are shown to offer competitive performance to state-of-the-art methods.

Abstract
The development of a transportable microwave frequency standard based on the ground-state transition of 171Yb+ at ∼12.6 GHz requires a compact laser system for cooling the ions, clearing out of long-lived states and also for photoionisation. In this paper, we describe the development of a suitable compact laser system based on a 6U height rack-mounted arrangement with overall dimensions 260 × 194 × 335 mm. Laser outputs at 369 nm (for cooling), 399 nm (photoionisation), 935 nm (repumping), and 760 nm (state clearout) are combined in a fiber arrangement for delivery to our linear ion trap and we demonstrate this system by cooling of 171Yb+ ions. Additionally, we demonstrate that the lasers at 935 nm and 760 nm are close in frequency to water vapor and oxygen absorption lines, respectively; specifically, at 760 nm, we show that one 171Yb+ transition is within the pressure broadened profile of an oxygen line. These molecular transitions form convenient wavelength references for the stabilization of lasers for a 171Yb+ frequency standard.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Data are scarce on thermophysical properties of the glassy trehalose solution at low temperatures. OBJECTIVE Water vapor pressure above the glassy trehalose solution and the relaxation behavior were studied at temperatures from -57°C to -40°C and at concentrations from 71% to 78% (w/w). MATERIALS AND METHODS Glassy trehalose solutions were prepared by quenching in liquid nitrogen. Vapour pressure was measured using the static method. RESULTS Vapour pressure above the glassy trehalose solution was slightly lower than above the glassy sucrose solution. The relaxation of the glassy state can be described by the stretched exponential Kohlrausch-Williams-Watts (KWW) function. The characteristic times of water relaxation (Τp) were compared with those of enthalpy relaxation (Τe). When the difference (∆T) between the glass transition temperature (Tg) and ageing temperature was relatively small, i.e. ∆T ≤ 10 K, Τp is close to Τe. If ∆T ≥ 15 K, Τe will be much greater than Τp. CONCLUSION The difference of water vapor pressure above the trehalose glassy solution and sucrose glassy solution could lead to significant distinction between their drying kinetics.
