Abstract
Objective: To describe the clinical features of liver involvement in children and adolescent with 2019-nCoV infection. Methods: The clinical data of 77 hospitalized cases admitted to the Children's Hospital of Fudan University were collected from January 19 to November 28, 2020. The characteristics and risk factors of abnormal liver chemistries in children with laboratory-confirmed 2019-nCoV infection were analyzed. Results: Of the 77 cases, 44 were male (57.1%) and 33 were female (42.9%), with a median age of 10 years. 27(35.1%) were asymptomatic, 28(36.4%) had mild illness, 22(28.6%)had non-severe pneumonia. Hydroxychloroquine was used in 7 cases. Of the 75 children without underlying diseases, alanine aminotransferase was elevated in 1 case (1.5%, during hydroxychloroquine therapy), aspartate aminotransferase was elevated in 7 cases (10.3%), alkaline phosphatase was elevated in 7 cases (28%), and total bilirubin, direct bilirubin, albumin, international normalized ratio were in normal range. There was no statistical difference between the pneumonia group and the non-pneumonia group in term of liver chemistries (P > 0.05), same as between the elevated erythrocyte sedimentation rate group and the normal group. There was no aggravation of liver injury in the child with biliary atresia. The child with epilepsy showed no abnormal liver chemistries after infection. Conclusion: Children with 2019-nCoV infection had mild clinical symptoms with few cases of liver injury. The abnormal liver chemistries in children with COVID-19 infection may be related to the underlying disease and the use of antiviral drugs.

Abstract
Objective: To compare the clinical characteristics of patients with different type of laryngopharyngeal reflux disease in order to study the effect of non-acid reflux on laryngopharyngeal reflux disease. Methods: From January 2015 to January 2020, 349 inpatients or outpatients suspected of having laryngopharyngeal reflux underwent 24-hour multichannel intraluminal impedance pH monitoring (MII-pH). There were 303 male and 46 female patients, with an average age of 56.03 years old ranged from 25 to 81 years old. The reflux symptom index (RSI)and reflux findings score(RFS)were recorded before MII-pH monitoring. The number of acid reflux events and non-acid reflux events in hypopharynx were counted. It was defined mainly acid reflux type when the ratio of acid reflux to all reflux events was greater than 50%, mainly non-acid reflux type when the ratio of non-acid reflux to all reflux events was greater than 50%. The clinical characteristics of patients with different type of reflux were compared. SPSS 19.0 software was used for statistical analysis, and multiple independent samples were compared between groups. The quantitative data were analyzed by multivariate analysis of variance, and the counting data were analyzed by chi-square test, the difference was statistically significant when P<0.05. Results: The 24-hour MII-pH showed that there were 90 patients with no reflux events, 51 patients with mainly acid reflux type, 198 patients with mainly non-acid reflux type and 10 patients with equal acid reflux events and non-acid reflux events. Statistics showed that the RSI(10.72±4.40), RFS(7.70±2.73) and the average number of reflux events(0) in the group without reflux events were significantly lower than those in patients with mainly acid reflux type (RSI 13.16±6.62,RFS 10.08±3.03,average number of reflux events 5.33±3.15,P<0.05) and mainly non-acid reflux type(RSI 13.25±5.54,RFS 8.81±2.54,average number of reflux events 7.93±5.26, P<0.05). There was no significant difference in RSI between the mainly non-acid reflux type group and the mainly acid reflux type group, but the RFS of the mainly non-acid reflux type group was significantly lower than that of the mainly acid reflux type group. The average number of reflux events in the mainly non-acid reflux group was significantly higher than that in the mainly acid reflux type group (P<0.05). Conclusion: The results show that non-acid reflux plays a certain role in laryngopharyngeal reflux disease, but the effect of acid reflux is greater.

Chen WL, Jiang L, Wang JS, Liao CX. Circ-0001801 contributes to cell proliferation, migration, invasion and epithelial to mesenchymal transition (EMT) in glioblastoma by regulating miR-628-5p/HMGB3 axis. EUROPEAN REVIEW FOR MEDICAL AND PHARMACOLOGICAL SCIENCES 2020; 23:10874-10885. [PMID: 31858556 DOI: 10.26355/eurrev_201912_19791] [Citation(s) in RCA: 6] [Impact Index Per Article: 1.5] [Reference Citation Analysis] [Abstract] [Subscribe] [Scholar Register] [Indexed: 11/12/2022]
Abstract
OBJECTIVE Glioblastoma (GBM) is a fast-growing type of central nervous system tumor with high invasiveness and recurrence. Circular RNA (circRNA) circ-0001801 (also named as circPCMTD1) was recognized as a novel biomarker in cancers. However, the pathological mechanism of circ-0001801 in GBM is still largely obscured. To the best of our knowledge, it is the first time to reveal the involvement of circ-0001801/miR-628-5p/HMGB3 axis in the progression of GBM cells. PATIENTS AND METHODS Expression of circ-0001801, microRNA (miR)-628-5p and high mobility group box 3 (HMGB3) in GBM tumors and cells was detected by quantitative real time-polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR). Stability of circ-0001801 was determined by RNase R. 3-(4,5-dimethyl-2-thiazolyl)-2,5-diphenyl-2-H-tetrazolium bromide (MTT) was performed to analyze cell viability. Cell migration and invasion were assessed using transwell assay. The interaction between miR-628-5p and circ-0001801 or HMGB3 was confirmed by Dual-Luciferase reporter system. Protein expression of HMGB3, N-cadherin, E-cadherin and Vimentin was detected by Western blot. RESULTS The up-regulation of circ-0001801 and HMGB3 and the down-regulation of miR-628-5p were both observed in GBM tumors and cells compared with the normal ones. Depletion of circ-0001801 reduced GBM cell proliferation, migration, invasion and EMT. In addition, we discovered that circ-0001801 was a sponge of miR-628-5p and HMGB3 was a target of miR-628-5p. Furthermore, miR-628-5p inhibitor abolished circ-0001801 silencing-mediated inhibition of cell progression in GBM. Similarly, HMGB3 restored circ-0001801 silencing-mediated repression on GBM cell progression. We also noticed that circ-0001801 could improve HMGB3 expression by sponging miR-628-5p in GBM. CONCLUSIONS Overexpression of circ-00018 01 accelerates cell proliferation, migration, invasion and EMT in GBM by absorbing miR-628-5p and facilitating HMGB3 expression, representing promising targeted therapy for GBM.

Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the efficacy of the endoscopic bilateral posterior transverse partial cordotomy in patients with upper airway obstruction due to bilateral vocal fold paralysis. Methods: A retrospective analysis of 48 cases of upper airway obstruction due to bilateral vocal fold paralysis, who were admitted to Department of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, the Sixth Medical Center of Chinese PLA General Hospital from July 2009 to July 2019, was performed, including 13 males and 35 females. Patients' ages ranged from 27 to 83 years old. All patients underwent bilateral vocal fold posterior resection. Results: Among the 48 patients, 1 patient was lost to follow-up, and the remaining 47 patients were followed up for 5 months to 10 years . None of the 47 patients had a recurrence or severe complications. 89.58% (43/48) patients reconstructed a reliable and effective airway and 88.89% (40/45) patients were decannulated in 1-3 months postoperatively, with the median decannulation time of 1 month. Recovery rate of swallowing function and satisfactory pronunciation were 97.92% (47/48) and 95.35% (41/43) respectively. Conclusions: Endoscopic bilateral posterior transverse partial cordotomy can establish a reliable and effective airway and maximize the protection of swallowing and voice functions. At the same time, it is a safe, reliable, simple and minimally invasive treatment option.

Abstract
β-delayed one-proton emissions of ^{22}Si, the lightest nucleus with an isospin projection T_{z}=-3, are studied with a silicon array surrounded by high-purity germanium detectors. Properties of β-decay branches and the reduced transition probabilities for the transitions to the low-lying states of ^{22}Al are determined. Compared to the mirror β decay of ^{22}O, the largest value of mirror asymmetry in low-lying states by far, with δ=209(96), is found in the transition to the first 1^{+} excited state. Shell-model calculation with isospin-nonconserving forces, including the T=1, J=2, 3 interaction related to the s_{1/2} orbit that introduces explicitly the isospin-symmetry breaking force and describes the loosely bound nature of the wave functions of the s_{1/2} orbit, can reproduce the observed data well and consistently explain the observation that a large δ value occurs for the first but not for the second 1^{+} excited state of ^{22}Al. Our results, while supporting the proton-halo structure in ^{22}Al, might provide another means to identify halo nuclei.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the clinical phenotype and genotype of transient infantile hypertriglyceridemia (HTGTI). Methods: The clinical data of two HTGTI children, diagnosed at Children's Hospital of Fudan University from July 2019 to January 2020, were collected and analyzed retrospectively. The literature up to 25th January 2020 were searched in PubMed, CNKI and Wanfang databases with the key words of "hypertriglyceridemia" and "glycerol phosphate dehydrogenase-1 (GPD1)". Results: Two children, including a 5-month-old female and a 13-month-old male, who presented with hepatomegaly, hypertriglyceridemia, transaminase elevation and hepatic steatosis, were admitted to the hospital. Gene detection found compound heterozygous variation of GPD1. After a low-fat diet with enriched medium-chain fatty acids, their plasma triglyceride level were significantly decreased, and finally normalized in case 2. Literature review found 17 patients with GPD1 gene variation reported in 5 papers, including 16 HTGTI cases and one case of different phenotype. Most of the cases presented with hepatomegaly, hypertriglyceridemia and transaminase elevation, while some had developmental retardation, splenomegaly, hypoglycemia, obesity and insulin resistance. The c.361-1G>C was the most common variation of GPD1. Conclusions: HTGTI caused by GPD1 deficiency is mainly manifested with hepatomegaly, hypertriglyceridemia, transaminase elevation as well as hepatic steatosis and fibrosis. The most common variation of GPD1 is c.361-1G>C.

Abstract
The aim of the research was to evaluate the dynamic changes of early posthatch starvation on residual yolk absorption, synthesis of macronutrients (protein, lipid, and glycogen), and organ development in broiler chicks. A total of 720 1-day-old chicks (Lingnan Yellow) were randomly assigned to 3 treatments: group A (nonfasted), group B (fasting for 24 h after placement), and group C (fasting for 48 h after placement). The trial lasted for 168 h, and water was provided ad libitum all the time. Sampling was performed at 0, 24, 48, 72, 120, and 168 h. Nonfasting (group A) promoted (P < 0.05) the absorption of amino acids, fatty acids, mineral elements, protein, and maternal antibody in the residual yolk of broiler chicks. The concentration of insulin-like growth factor 1 in plasma and the liver was higher (P < 0.05) in group A. Nonfasting enhanced (P < 0.05) the synthesis of protein and glycogen in the breast muscle and liver; the relative weights of the liver, pancreas, and spleen; and body weight, but retarded (P < 0.05) the synthesis of triglyceride in the liver. The results indicated that nonfasting (group A) after placement promoted the absorption of residual yolk and synthesis of protein and glycogen in the breast muscle and liver, whereas early feed deprivation promoted the synthesis of lipid in the liver. Thereby, nonfasting after placement promoted organ development and body growth of broiler chicks.

Abstract
An inelastic excitation and cluster-decay experiment ^{2}H(^{16}C,^{4}He+^{12}Be or ^{6}He+^{10}Be)^{2}H was carried out to investigate the linear-chain clustering structure in neutron-rich ^{16}C. For the first time, decay paths from the ^{16}C resonances to various states of the final nuclei were determined, thanks to the well-resolved Q-value spectra obtained from the threefold coincident measurement. The close-threshold resonance at 16.5 MeV is assigned as the J^{π}=0^{+} band head of the predicted positive-parity linear-chain molecular band with (3/2_{π}^{-})^{2}(1/2_{σ}^{-})^{2} configuration, according to the associated angular correlation and decay analysis. Other members of this band were found at 17.3, 19.4, and 21.6 MeV based on their selective decay properties, being consistent with the theoretical predictions. Another intriguing high-lying state was observed at 27.2 MeV which decays almost exclusively to ^{6}He+^{10}Be(∼6 MeV) final channel, corresponding well to another predicted linear-chain structure with the pure σ-bond configuration.

Abstract
We report on the first measurement of the charmed baryon Λ_{c}^{±} production at midrapidity (|y|<1) in Au+Au collisions at sqrt[s_{NN}]=200 GeV collected by the STAR experiment at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider. The Λ_{c}/D^{0} [denoting (Λ_{c}^{+}+Λ_{c}^{-})/(D^{0}+D[over ¯]^{0})] yield ratio is measured to be 1.08±0.16 (stat)±0.26 (sys) in the 0%-20% most central Au+Au collisions for the transverse momentum (p_{T}) range 3<p_{T}<6 GeV/c. This is significantly larger than the pythia model calculations for p+p collisions. The measured Λ_{c}/D^{0} ratio, as a function of p_{T} and collision centrality, is comparable to the baryon-to-meson ratios for light and strange hadrons in Au+Au collisions. Model calculations including coalescence hadronization for charmed baryon and meson formation reproduce the features of our measured Λ_{c}/D^{0} ratio.

Objective: To investigate the effects of miR-106a-5p on the proliferation and migration of vascular endothelial cells, and the possible target gene of miR-106a-5p in endothelial cells. Methods: Human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVEC) were cultured in vitro, and the expression of mir-106a-5p in HUVECs was detected by real-time fluorescent quantitative polymerase chain reaction (RT-qPCR). Cell counting kit-8 (CCK-8) and wound healing assays were used to detected the proliferation and migration of HUVECs respectively.Dual luciferase repoter assay was used to identify the possible target gene of miR-106a-5p--STAT3. Results: mir-106a-5p inhibited the proliferation function of HUVECs (F=13.62, P<0.01). And mir-106a-5p expressed the migration of HUVEC,the closure rate in the mimic group was reduced after 12 h and 24 h of scratching (49.93/31.31) (χ(2)=8.240, P<0.05), (78.87/44.80) (χ(2)=10.50, P<0.01). The direct target gene of mir-106a-5p was STAT3, and miR-106a-5p regulated the expression of STAT3 through post-transcriptionally controlling. Conclusion: mir-106a-5p could inhibit proliferation and migration of HUVEC, and the possible target gene was STAT3.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE We investigate the mechanism of HOXB-AS3 in promoting the development of hepatocellular carcinoma. PATIENTS AND METHODS The expression of HOXB-AS3 in tumor tissues and adjacent tissues of hepatocellular carcinoma was detected by quantitative real time-polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR), and the relationship between the expression of HOXB-AS3 and tumor tissues was analyzed. The effects of HOXB-AS3 and p53 on cell proliferation, cell cycle and apoptosis were detected by plate cloning experiment and flow cytometry. The binding relationship between HOXB-AS3 and DNMT1 and the regulation mechanism of DNMT1 on p53 were tested by RNA immunoprecipitation (RIP) and chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP) experiments, respectively. Western blot was used to detect the expression of p53 after knockdown of HOXB-AS3. The torsion experiment was performed to assess whether HOXB-AS3 regulated the proliferation and apoptosis of hepatoma cells by inhibiting p53 expression. RESULTS The results of qRT-PCR showed that the expression of HOXB-AS3 was significantly higher in cancerous tissues of patients with hepatocellular carcinoma than in adjacent tissues. The expression of HOXB-AS3 in patients in stage III and IV was significantly higher than that in stage I and II. Inhibition of HOXB-AS3 expression in liver cancer cells including Hep3B and LM3 could promote cell proliferation, inhibit cell apoptosis and induce cell cycle arrest in the G0/G1 phase. The results of RIP and ChIP experiments showed that HOXB-AS3 inhibited the expression of p53 by binding to DNMT1, and overexpression of p53 in Hep3B cells could partially reverse the changes in cell proliferation and apoptosis induced by HOXB-AS3. CONCLUSIONS Highly expressed HOXB-AS3 was confirmed to promote the proliferation of hepatocellular carcinoma cells and inhibit apoptosis, and the mechanism was related to the regulation role of HOXB-AS3 in p53 expression by binding to DNMT1.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE The aim of this meta-analysis was to assess the association between beta-microseminoprotein gene (MSMB) rs10993994 polymorphism and prostate cancer (PCa) risk. MATERIALS AND METHODS Relevant databases were searched to identify studies investigating the association between rs10993994 polymorphisms and the risk of PCa using allele contrast, recessive, dominant, and additive models. The assessment of the association was used by odds ratios (ORs) with 95% confidence intervals (CIs). Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium (HWE) was checked for each study. The sensitivity analysis and the assessment of publication bias were also performed. RESULTS Six reports involving 13 eligible studies (a total of 11,385 PCa patients and 9,115 controls) were included in the meta-analysis. Our data revealed that the T allele of MSMB rs10993994 polymorphism was significantly associated with PCa in all subjects (allele contrast: OR=1.24, 95% CI=1.19-1.29, p<0.001). Similarly, for recessive, dominant, and additive genetic models, significant associations were also found (recessive: OR=1.40, 95% CI=1.30-1.51; dominant: OR=1.28, 95% CI=1.21-1.36; and additive: OR=1.56, 95% CI=1.44-1.70). Significant associations were also found in Caucasians. The data for Asians showed significant association in allele contrast and recessive, additive genetic models, whereas no statistical significance was found in the dominant genetic model. CONCLUSIONS This study demonstrated a significant association between the MSMB rs10993994 polymorphisms and PCa risk. Further large-scale studies are warranted to confirm our findings.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a heterogeneous condition that can differ in its clinical manifestation, structural changes and response to treatment. OBJECTIVE To identify subgroups of COPD with distinct phenotypes, evaluate the distribution of phenotypes in four related regions and calculate the 1-year change in lung function and quality of life according to subgroup. METHODS Using clinical characteristics, we performed factor analysis and hierarchical cluster analysis in a cohort of 1676 COPD patients from 13 Asian cities. We compared the 1-year change in forced expiratory volume in one second (FEV1), modified Medical Research Council dyspnoea scale score, St George's Respiratory Questionnaire (SGRQ) score and exacerbations according to subgroup derived from cluster analysis. RESULTS Factor analysis revealed that body mass index, Charlson comorbidity index, SGRQ total score and FEV1 were principal factors. Using these four factors, cluster analysis identified three distinct subgroups with differing disease severity and symptoms. Among the three subgroups, patients in subgroup 2 (severe disease and more symptoms) had the most frequent exacerbations, most rapid FEV1 decline and greatest decline in SGRQ total score. CONCLUSION Three subgroups with differing severities and symptoms were identified in Asian COPD subjects.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION Salivary gland intraductal carcinoma (IDC) is rare. We present the second case of IDC originating from an intraparotid lymph node (LN) with a more detailed description of the histogenesis, immunohistochemistry (IHC) and updated molecular information. CASE REPORT An 87-year-old male had a tumour nodule over the left parotid tail for about 20 years. Physical examinations revealed a 4.5 cm soft, non-tender and fixed mass. After the left parotidectomy, pathology confirmed the diagnosis of IDC arising within an intraparotid lymph node. The cystic component of the tumour was lined by single to multilayered ductal cells with micropapillary growth pattern. The solid part showed intraductal proliferation of neoplastic cells in solid, cribriform, micropapillary and Roman bridge-like structure. By immunohistochemistry (IHC), the tumour cells were positive for S-100, CK (AE1/AE3), mammaglobin, SOX10, and estrogen receptor (ER), with myoepithelial cell rimming highlighted by positive p63 and calponin IHC stains. The prognosis of this patient is excellent after complete excision. DISCUSSION The mechanism of salivary gland tumour arising in the intra-parotid gland LN was assumed to be related to salivary duct inclusion within the intraparotid gland LN which is a normal occurrence during embryology development. Although the terminology may raise some confusion about the relationship between IDC and conventional salivary duct carcinoma (SDA), they are different in immunophenotype and clinicopathologic features. IDC is characterised by S100 (+) ER (+) with predominant intraductal growth and excellent prognosis; while SDC features S100 (-) androgen receptor (+) with predominant invasive growth and aggressive behavior. Recent discovery of recurrent RET gene rearrangement in IDC but not SDC also supports that IDC is not precursor lesion of the SDC.

Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the feasibility of pepsin strip test in the diagnosis of laryngopharyngeal reflux. Methods: From August 2017 to September 2018,80 patients in Department of Otorhniolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery,Chinese People's Liberation Army General Hospital-Six Medical Centre, underwent pepsin strip test and 24-hour multichannel intraluminal impedance(MII)-pH monitoring. The results of the two methods were analyzed for consistency, and 24-hour MII-pH monitoring was used as a statistical reference for the sensitivity and specificity of pepsin strip test in the diagnosis of laryngopharyngeal reflux. Data were analyzed by SPSS 19.0 software. Results: There were 57 patients with positive pepsin test strip and 23 patients with negative pepsin test strip. The score of reflux symptoms and signs, and the positive rate of laryngopharyngeal reflux events in patients with positive pepsin strip test were significantly higher than those in patients with negative pepsin test strip. If there was one or more throat reflux events (including acid reflux, weak acid reflux and alkali reflux) as the positive results of 24-hour MII-pH monitoring, the consistency between the results of pepsin strip and 24-hour MII-pH was moderate (Kappa=0.614). The sensitivity and specificity of pepsin strip were 86.9% (53/61) and 78.9% (15/19) respectively. Conclusions: Pepsin strip detection has the advantages of non-invasive,cheap and easy to operate. As an objective method for early diagnosis of laryngopharyngeal reflux, pepsin strip detectionis feasible, but can not be the final diagnosis for laryngopharyngeal reflux disease.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Globally, approximately three million children die each year from vaccine preventable infectious diseases mainly in developing countries. Despite the success of the expanded immunization program, not all infants and children around the world develop the same protective immune response to the same vaccine. A vaccine must induce a response over the basal immune response that may be driven by population-specific, environmental or socio-economic factors. Mycotoxins like aflatoxins are immune suppressants that are confirmed to interfere with both cell-mediated and acquired immunity. The mechanism of aflatoxin toxicity is through the binding of the bio-activated AFB1-8, 9-epoxide to cellular macromolecules. METHODS We studied Hepatitis B surface antibodies [anti-HBs] levels to explore the immune modulation effects of dietary exposure to aflatoxins in children aged between one and fourteen years in Kenya. Hepatitis B vaccine was introduced for routine administration for Kenyan infants in November 2001. To assess the effects of aflatoxin on immunogenicity of childhood vaccines Aflatoxin B1-lysine in blood serum samples were determined using High Performance Liquid Chromatography with Fluorescence detection while anti-HBs were measured using Bio-ELISA anti-HBs kit. RESULTS The mean ± SD of AFB1-lysine adducts in our study population was 45.38 ± 87.03 pg/mg of albumin while the geometric mean was 20.40 pg/mg. The distribution of AFB1-lysine adducts was skewed to the right. Only 98/205 (47.8%) of the study population tested positive for Hepatitis B surface antibodies. From regression analysis, we noted that for every unit rise in serum aflatoxin level, anti-HBs dropped by 0.91 mIU/ml (-0.9110038; 95% C.I -1.604948, -0.21706). CONCLUSION Despite high coverage of routine immunization, less than half of the study population had developed immunity to HepB. Exposure to aflatoxin was high and weakly associated with low anti-HBs antibodies. These findings highlight a potentially significant role for environmental factors that may contribute to vaccine effectiveness warranting further research.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the correlation between poorly differentiated clusters (PDCs) in colorectal adenocarcinomas with clinicopathological parameters and its clinicopathological significance. Methods: One hundred and eighty-three colorectal adenocarcinomas resected by radical proctocolecomy were collected at Nanjing Hospital(Nanjing First Hospital), Nanjing Medical University, from January to December 2017. There were 122 male and 61 female patients with age ranging from 42 to 89 years (mean of 68 years). Tumor diameter ranged from 2 to 14 cm (mean 4.5 cm). There were 124 colon cancers and 59 rectal cancers. The number and grade of PDCs in the colorectal adenocarcinoma were evaluated by H-E staining. The overall peritumoural inflammatory reaction was also evaluated. The relationship between PDCs and tumor grades and clinicopathological features and overall peritumoural inflammatory reaction of colorectal adenocarcinoma was analyzed. Results: Of 183 cases of colorectal adenocarcinoma, PDCs were seen in 104 cases (56.8%), of which 36 cases (19.7%) were grade 1, 28 cases (15.3%) were grade 2, and 40 cases (21.9%) were grade 3. PDCs were positively correlated with lymph node metastasis, vascular invasion, degree of differentiation, depth of invasion, and pTNM staging(P<0.05). The detection rate of PDCs in colon cancer was higher than that of rectal cancer(P<0.05). PDCs was unrelated to age, gender, tumor size, and degree of overall peritumoural inflammatory reaction (P>0.05). Among clinicopathological parameters, the grade of PDCs was correlated with lymph node metastasis and vascular invasion (higher than those without lymph node metastasis and vascular invasion, P<0.05); There was a positive correlation between the grade of PDCs and age, tumor differentiation and pTNM staging(P<0.05), and no significant difference between the grade of PDCs and gender, tumor size, tumor location, and depth of invasion was seen (P>0.05). There was no correlation between the grade of PDCs and the degree of overall peritumoural inflammatory reaction (P>0.05). Conclusions: PDC is a histological feature that predicts the aggressiveness of colorectal adenocarcinoma. Evaluation of PDC grade can better predict the biological behavior of colorectal cancer and more accurately guide the treatment and evaluate prognosis.

Abstract
As the most important phase in standardization activity, implementation saves as the essence. CDC in China are the major institutions undertaking disease control and prevention. Implementing the standards of public health provides technical basis for CDC to complete the task of disease control and prevention. In the study, spot conversation and questionnaire were used to investigate the implementation of standards on public health in CDC. Results showed that the staff of CDC got to know the standards through the Internet. The departments of CDC which conducted training and sent staff to attend training courses accounted for 50.00%(25/50) and 34.00%(17/50), respectively. State mandatory rule is still the main reason for relevant departments to implement the standards of the public health. Government promotion activities facilitate the implementation of Standards, and the degree of familiarity with Standards affects the implementation as well. The paper summarizes the existing problems, such as the lack of coordination between departments of public health at provincial level or below, lack of access to standards, and the need to strengthen the training of the standard implementation etc. It puts forward some suggestions to strengthen the implementation of public health Standards.

Abstract
Objective: To explore the relationship between genotype and phenotype of ABCB11 deficiency. Methods: Clinical data of two siblings with ABCB11 deficiency were retrospectively analyzed. Related literature from PubMed, CNKI and Wangfang databases was reviewed to date (up to August 2017) with 'ABCB11 gene' or 'bile salt export pump', 'cholestasis' and 'child' as key words. Results: The patients were siblings. Both of them presented as jaundice, pruritus and hepatosplenomegaly since 3 days after birth. Significant laboratory findings on admission of the older sister included high total bilirubin, 170 µmol/L;conjugated bilirubin, 115.8 µmol/L;alanine aminotransferase, 168 U/L;total bile acid 186.3 µmol/L and normal gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase. While routine laboratory data of the younger brother were as follows: total bilirubin, 148.8 µmol/L;conjugated bilirubin, 96.3 µmol/L;alanine aminotransferase, 232.8 U/L;total bile acid 226 µmol/L, and normal gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase. Both received ursodeoxycholic acid and fat-soluble vitamins. Liver pathology of the younger brother showed giant hepatocytes with ballooning degeneration, focal necrosis and intrahepatic cholestasis. Both the patients harbor the same compound heterozygous mutations in ABCB11 gene, c.145C>T (p.Q49X) and c.1510G>A (p.E504K). The sister is 9 years old now, with normal liver function. Jaundice faded around 3 months after birth, pruritus relieved at age 5, and medications was stopped since then. The brother progressed to liver failure after an operation on perianal abscess when he was 8-month-old, and received living-related liver transplantation when he was 9 month and 20 days old (from his mother). Now he is 1 year and 5 months old, with normal liver function. Both are under our follow-up. Literature review revealed 18 ABCB11 deficiency patients from 7 families who had apparent different prognoses, within each family the siblings had the same ABCB11 gene mutation. Seven cases relieved after ursodeoxycholic acid therapy and/or partial external biliary diversion, 5 received orthotopic liver transplantation, 2 developed hepatocellular carcinoma and 4 cases died in childhood. Conclusions: The clinical manifestations of ABCB11 deficiency may vary greatly in patients carrying the same genotype, even in siblings. Patients should be managed in individualized maner.

Abstract
Objective The study was conducted to evaluate the effects of night light regimen on growth performance, antioxidant status and health of Lingnan Yellow broiler chickens from 1 to 21 days of age. Methods A completely randomized factorial design involved 2 photoperiods (constant lighting [CL], 24 L:0 D and intermittent lighting [INL], 17 L:3 D:1 L:3 D)×2 light intensities (10 lx and 30 lx). A total of one thousand six hundred and eighty 1-d-old Lingnan Yellow broiler chicks were randomly divided into 4 treatments with 6 replicates (70 birds per replicate). The experiment lasted for 21 d. Results Photoperiods and light intensities had no effect on average daily gain, feed conversion ratio, and mortality of the broiler chickens (p>0.05). The INL had a significant effect on average daily feed intake (p<0.05) of broiler chickens compared with CL. Photoperiod and light intensity had an interactive effect on melatonin (MT) concentration (p<0.05). At CL, reducing light intensity increased MT concentration; INL birds had higher MT but MT concentration was not affected by light intensity. There was an interactive effect on glutathione peroxidase (GPx) and catalase (CAT) in serum and total antioxidant capability (T-AOC) in liver between photoperiod and light intensity. With the decrease of light intensity, the activities of GPx and CAT in serum and T-AOC in liver increased in CL group (p<0.05). Broiler chickens reared under INL had better antioxidant status and 10 lx treatments had higher activities of CAT in serum than 30 lx (p<0.05). Different photoperiods and light intensities had no effect on malondialdehyde. There was an interaction between photoperiod and light intensity on serum creatine kinase (CK) concentration (p<0.05). At CL, the elevated light intensity resulted in an increase in CK content; INL birds had lower CK concentration especially in low light intensity group. Besides, INL and low light intensity significantly reduced the concentration of serum corticosterone and heat shock protein 70 (p<0.05). Serum immunoglobulin M contents were increased in broiler chickens reared under the INL compared with CL group (p<0.05). Conclusion Results above suggest that the night light regimen of INL and 10 lx could be beneficial to the broiler chickens from 1 to 21 days of age due to the better health status and electricity savings.
