Abstract
Using a sample of about 10^{10} J/ψ events collected at a center-of-mass energy sqrt[s]=3.097 GeV with the BESIII detector, the electromagnetic Dalitz decays J/ψ→e^{+}e^{-}π^{+}π^{-}η^{'}, with η^{'}→γπ^{+}π^{-} and η^{'}→π^{+}π^{-}η, have been studied. The decay J/ψ→e^{+}e^{-}X(1835) is observed with a significance of 15σ, and also an e^{+}e^{-} invariant-mass dependent transition form factor of J/ψ→e^{+}e^{-}X(1835) is presented for the first time. The intermediate states X(2120) and X(2370) are also observed in the π^{+}π^{-}η^{'} invariant-mass spectrum with significances of 5.3σ and 7.3σ. The corresponding product branching fractions for J/ψ→e^{+}e^{-}X, X→π^{+}π^{-}η^{'} [X=X(1835), X(2120), and X(2370)] are reported.

Abstract
BACKGROUND T cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL) defines a group of hematological malignancies with heterogeneous aggressiveness and highly variable outcome, making therapeutic decisions a challenging task. We tried to discover new predictive model for T-ALL before treatment by using a specific pipeline designed to discover aberrantly active gene. RESULTS The expression of 18 genes was significantly associated with shorter survival, including ACTRT2, GOT1L1, SPATA45, TOPAZ1 and ZPBP (5-GEC), which were used as a basis to design a prognostic classifier for T-ALL patients. The molecular characterization of the 5-GEC positive T-ALL unveiled specific characteristics inherent to the most aggressive T leukemic cells, including a drastic shut-down of genes located on the mitochondrial genome and an upregulation of histone genes, the latter characterizing high risk forms in adult patients. These cases fail to respond to the induction treatment, since 5-GEC either predicted positive minimal residual disease (MRD) or a short-term relapse in MRD negative patients. CONCLUSION Overall, our investigations led to the discovery of a homogenous group of leukemic cells with profound alterations of their biology. It also resulted in an accurate predictive tool that could significantly improve the management of T-ALL patients.

Abstract
With the increasing detection rate of early upper gastric cancer and adenocarcinoma of esophagogastric junction, the safety of proximal gastrectomy with clear indications has been verified, and function-preserving proximal gastrectomy has been widely used. However, proximal gastrectomy destructs the normal anatomical structure of esophagogastric junction, resulting in severe postoperative gastroesophageal reflux symptoms and seriously affecting the quality of life. Among various anti-reflux surgery methods, reconstruction of "cardiac valve" has always been the focus of relevant scholars because its similarity with the mechanism of normal anti-reflux. After years of development, evolution and optimization, the designed seromuscular flap anastomosis includes tunnel muscle flap anastomosis, Hatafuku valvuloplasty, single muscle flap anastomosis and double muscle flap anastomosis. The double muscle flap anastomosis has become a research hotspot because it shows good anti-reflux effect in clinical application. This paper reviews the history, research status and hot issues of seromuscular flap anastomosis of esophageal remnant stomach at home and abroad.

Abstract
(±)-Dimercochlearlactones A-J (1-10), ten pairs of novel meroterpenoid dimers and one known spirocochlealactone A (11), were isolated from Ganoderma mushrooms. The structural elucidation of new compounds, including their absolute configurations, depends on spectroscopic analysis and electronic circular dichroism (ECD) calculations. Biological studies showed that (+)- and (-)-2, (-)-3, and (+)- and (-)-11 are cytotoxic toward human triple negative breast cancer (TNBC) cells (MDA-MB-231) with IC50 values of 28.18, 25.65, 11.16, 8.18, and 13.02 μM, respectively. Wound healing assay revealed that five pairs of meroterpenoids (±)-5-(±)-8 and (±)-10 could significantly inhibit cell mobility at 20 μM in MDA-MB-231 cells. The results provide a new insight into the biological role of Ganoderma meroterpenoids in TNBC.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To investigate the mechanism of electroacupuncture (EA) in improving the long-term survival rate of mice after myocardial infarction by promoting angiogenesis and inhibiting ventricular remodeling. METHODS A total of 102 male C57BL/6 mice were randomly divided into sham operation, model and EA groups (n=34 /group). The myocardial infarction model was established by permanent ligation of the anterior descending branch of the left coronary artery. Beginning from the 3rd day after ligation, EA (2 Hz/20 Hz) was applied to bilateral "Neiguan" (PC6) and "Ximen" (PC4) for 30 min, once a day for 28 days. The survival rate in 140 d was recorded and the left ventricular ejection fraction (EF) calculated by using echocardiography after the treatment. The left cardiac ventricular tissue was cut into sections to be stained with Masson's trichrome, wheat germ agglutinin (WGA) or α-smooth muscle actin (α-SMA) immunohistochemistry method, followed by measuring the collagen area in the marginal region of myocardial infarction and calculating the collagen volume fraction (for assessing the severity of myocardial fibrosis), measuring the sectional area of cardiomyocytes (for assessing the degree of myocardial hypertrophy), and ob-serving the newborn blood vessels and calculating the ratio of neovascularization area (for assessing the state of angiogenesis). The expression of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and hypoxia-inducible factor (HIF)-1α protein in the boundary area of myocardial infarction were detected by Western blot. RESULTS After modeling, the survival rate, EF, and the thickness of the left cardiac ventricle were significantly decreased (P<0.01), whereas the percentage of collagen deposition area, sectional area of cardiomyocyte, percentage of angiogenesis area, and the expression levels of VEGF and HIF-1α proteins were significantly increased (P<0.01) in the model group relevant to the sham operation group. Compared with the model group, the survival rate, EF, the thickness of the left cardiac ventricle, the percentage of angiogenesis area, and the expression levels of VEGF and HIF-1α proteins were significantly increased (P<0.05, P<0.01), while the percentage of collagen deposition area and the sectional area of the cardiomyocyte were considerably decreased in the EA group (P<0.01, P<0.05). CONCLUSION EA of PC6 and PC4 can significantly improve the cardiac function and long-term survival rate in mice with myocardial infarction, which may be related to its functions in up-regulating the expression of HIF-1α and VEGF to promote angiogenesis and in inhibiting ventricular remodeling.

Abstract
Objective: To explore the application value of bispectral index(BIS) , specific protein 100β(S100β) combined with Copeptinin patients with acute severe carbon monoxide poisoning (ASCMP). Methods: A total of 256 patients with acute carbon monoxide poisoning admitted to Hengshui People's Hospital from June 2018 to June 2020 were collected, and they were divided into 30 mild cases, 40 moderate cases and 186 severe cases according to the degree of poisoning. Among them, patients with severe carbon monoxide poisoning were divided into a poor prognosis group (20 cases) and a good prognosis group (166 cases) according to whether adverse events occurred. The changes of creatine kinase isoenzyme (CK-MB) , N-terminal precursor B-type brain natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) , BIS, S100β, and Copeptin in poisoned patients were measured. Logistic regression analysis and receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve were used to evaluate the significance of relevant indicators for ASCMP patients. Results: Compared with the mild-to-moderate group, CK-MB, NT-proBNP, S100β, Copeptin increased, and BIS value decreased in the severe group (P< 0.05). 24 hours after admission, compared with the good prognosis group, CK-MB, NT-proBNP, S100β, Copeptin in the poor prognosis group increased, and the BIS value decreased (P<0.05). In the poor prognosis group, CK-MB, NT-proBNP, S100β, and Copeptin at 72 hours after admission were all lower than those at 24 hours after admission, and the BIS value was higher than that at 24 hours after admission (P<0.05). Logistic regression analysis showed that ASCMP patients with increased S100β, Copeptin, and decreased BIS values had an increased risk of adverse events (P<0.05). The ROC curve showed that the area under the curve of the combined detection of BIS, S100β and Copeptin was 0.859, which had a great predictive value for the prognosis of ASCMP patients. Conclusion: BIS, S100β combined with Copeptin detection is of great value for early assessment of ASCMP disease and prognosis prediction.

Abstract
Sweat gland is one of the important appendage organs of the skin, which plays an important role in thermoregulation and homeostasis maintenance. Sweat glands are damaged and unable to self-repair after burns, resulting in perspiration disorders eventually. However, current clinical strategies cannot restore the function of the damaged sweat glands effectively. Therefore, it is urgent to seek treatments that can promote the regeneration of sweat glands and restore their normal functions. Stem cells have extensive sources, low immunogenicity, high proliferation capacity, and multi-directional differentiation potential, which have become a focus in the field of regenerative medicine. In recent years, a variety of stem cells have been induced to differentiate into sweat gland-like tissue with certain secretory function, which provides treatment direction for sweat gland regeneration after burns in clinic. This article reviews the recent research advances on the application of stem cells in sweat gland regeneration from the perspectives of the manner by which stem cells transform into sweat gland cells in different environments and their influencing factors.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the epidemiological characteristics and the transmission chain of a family clustering of COVID-19 cases caused by severe acute respiratory 2019-nCoV Delta variant in Changping district of Beijing. Methods: Epidemiological investigation was conducted and big data were used to reveal the exposure history of the cases. Close contacts were screened according to the investigation results, and human and environmental samples were collected for nucleic acid tests. Positive samples were analyzed by gene sequencing. Results: On November 1, 2021, a total of 5 COVID-19 cases caused by 2019-nCoV Delta variant were reported in a family detected through active screening. The infection source was a person in the same designated isolation hotel where the first case of the family cluster was isolated from 22 to 27, October. The first case was possibly infected through aerosol particles in the ventilation duct system of the isolation hotel. After the isolation discharge on October 27, and the first case caused secondary infections of four family members while living together from October 27 to November 1, 2021. Conclusion: 2019-nCoV Delta variant is prone to cause family cluster, and close attention needs to be paid to virus transmission through ventilation duct system in isolation hotels.

Background
Acute heart failure (AHF) is a significant public health problem related to the high mortality and rehospitalization rate of patients. Although drug development is never interrupted, no single drug has been proven to play a decisive role in improving the survival of AHF patients. In China, multi-component traditional Chinese medicine has been widely used to treat AHF. As a Chinese herbal injection included in medical insurance, Yiqi Fumai Injection can reduce the level of NT-proBNP in AHF patients, improve heart function, and alleviate symptoms and signs related to heart failure. To further evaluate the therapeutic effect of Yiqi Fumai Injection on AHF, a multi-center, double-blind, randomized controlled trial that intends to recruit 1270 patients is being carried out in China. However, the mechanism of Yiqi Fumai Injection in the treatment of AHF has not been clarified. To further explore the underlying mechanism, we used systematic pharmacology methods to explore the potential molecular mechanisms of biologically active compounds.
Methods
We used the databases of HERB, the Encyclopedia of Traditional Chinese Medicine (ETCM), the Comparative Toxicogenomics Database (CTD), Online Mendelian Inheritance in Man (OMIM), and GeneCards to predict the active ingredients and potential targets of Yiqi Fumai Injection in the treatment of AHF. STRING was used for PPI network construction and analysis. Cytoscape was used to build a network between Chinese medicine, ingredients and targets. The DAVID, GO, and KEGG databases were used to predict the potential pathways of Yiqi Fumai Injection for the treatment of AHF.
Results
We obtained 31 active compounds of Yiqi Fumai Injection from HERB and ECTM databases. By overlapping targets between YQFMI and AHF, a total of 240 potential targets for Yiqi Fumai Injection to treat AHF were selected. According to the H-C-T network topology analysis, the core compounds include beta-sitosterol, Uridine, Guanosine, and Stigmasterol. Sixteen protein targets had significantly higher node degrees than the average in the PPI network, including AKT1, JUN, TNF, EDN1, CASP3, ESR1, DLG4, PTGS2, NOS3, IL1B, C3, AR, LEP, CNR1, CHRM2, and DRD2. The PPI results showed that the potential therapeutic targets of YQFMI were densely enriched in pathways related to endothelial function, neuromodulation, and lipid metabolism. The same results were shown in GO and KEGG pathway enrichment.
Conclusion
Our results indicate that Yiqi Fumai Injection may achieve the goal of improving AHF-related symptoms by regulating the function of vascular endothelium and nerves and the biosynthetic pathway of lipid metabolism. These findings support previous studies and provide a reference for studying the mechanism of Yiqi Fumai Injection in the treatment of AHF. Abstract Figure.

Abstract
Using a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 2.93 fb^{-1} collected at a center-of-mass energy sqrt[s]=3.773 GeV by the BESIII detector, the decay D^{0}→ωϕ is observed for the first time. The branching fraction is measured to be (6.48±0.96±0.40)×10^{-4} with a significance of 6.3σ, where the first and second uncertainties are statistical and systematic, respectively. An angular analysis reveals that the ϕ and ω mesons from the D^{0}→ωϕ decay are transversely polarized. The 95% confidence level upper limit on longitudinal polarization fraction is set to be less than 0.24, which is inconsistent with current theoretical expectations and challenges our understanding of the underlying dynamics in charm meson decays.

Abstract
Insulin dysfunction of diabetes mellitus (DM) disorders the glucose metabolism in Sertoli cells (SCs), resulting in the impairment of spermatogenesis.Insulin signaling system in Sertoli cells (SCs) plays an important role in regulating lactate secretion. Heat treatment could increase the lactate secretion of boar SCs, but whether heat treatment participates in lactate secretion by improving the sensitivity of insulin is unknown. In the current study, the primary SCs from 21-day-old boar were employed to treat with 100 nM insulin for 24 h or heat treatment (43 °C, 30 min). Heat treatment strengthened the effect of insulin on the effect of lactate secretion. In addition, heat treatment increased the expression of insulin-induced insulin receptor substrate 2 (IRS2), but reduced the expression of miR-7-5p. Using dual luciferase reporter assay and Western blot, the study found that IRS2 is a potential target gene of miR-7-5p. Heat treatment also enhanced the Phosphorylation of insulin-stimulated PI3K/Akt, and increased lactate secretion by promoting the expression of Glucose Transporter 3 (GLUT3), Lactate Dehydrogenase-A (LDHA) and monocarboxylate transporter 1 (MCT1). Furthermore, miR-7-5p inhibitor could partly mimic the effects of heat treatment on lactate production of SCs, indicating that heat treatment improves insulin sensitivity by regulating the expression of miR-7-5p/IRS2/PI3K/Akt. These results reveal a novel miRNA-mediated mechanism of heat treatment on the regulation of lactate metabolism production, and suggest that targeting miR-7-5p is a probably therapeutic method to insulin dysfunction-induced metabolic diseases.

Abstract
Ganoderma fungi as popular raw materials of numerous functional foods have been extensively investigated. In this study, five pairs of meroterpenoid enantiomers beyond well-known triterpenoids and polysaccharides, dayaolingzhiols I−M (1–5), were characterized from Ganoderma lucidum. Their structures were identified using spectroscopic and computational methods. Structurally, compound 1 features a novel dioxabicyclo[2.2.2]octan-3-one motif in the side chain. Ethnoknowledge-derived biological evaluation found that (+)-5 could activate Akt and AMPK phosphorylation in insulin-stimulated C2C12 cells, and (+)-5 could activate glucose uptake dose dependently in C2C12 cells. Furthermore, we found that (+)-1 (+)-4, and (–)-4 could significantly inhibit cell migration of the MDA-MB-231 cell line, of which (+)-4 showed significant inhibitory effects against cell migration of the MDA-MB-231 cell line in a dose-dependent manner. These findings revealed the meroterpenoidal composition of G. lucidum and its roles in the prevention of chronic diseases such as diabetes mellitus and triple-negative breast cancer.

Abstract
The clinical data of two children with Imerslund-Gräsbeck syndrome (IGS) who were admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University in August 2019 was analyzed retrospectively. The two cases were siblings, aged 8 years and 8 months and 6 years and 2 months, respectively. These two boys had megaloblastic anemia, low level of vitamin B12, hyperhomocysteinemia, accompanied by proteinuria and renal tubular injury, while they showed normal folate level and renal function. Blood tandem mass spectrometry and urine organic acid analysis suggested methylmalonic acidemia (MMA). The initial diagnosis was MMA with homocysteinemia. No known pathogenic gene mutation related to MMA was found by gene sequencing. Compound heterozygous variants of amnionless (AMN) gene were detected: c.43+5G>A and c.C717G. The corrected diagnosis was IGS. Both brothers were treated with long-term intramuscular injection of vitamin B12. After follow-up for one year, these two cases had no clinical symptoms, and their blood indicators remained normal, but proteinuria and renal tubular injury persisted. Blood tandem mass spectrometry and urine organic acid analysis alone may easily lead to misdiagnosis, but combined with genetic testing can improve the accuracy of diagnosis of IGS. Lifelong parenteral vitamin B12 replacement therapy can effectively reverse the clinical and biochemical results, but is uncertain in alleviating albuminuria and renal tubule injury. It's necessary to monitor the renal function regularly.

Abstract
Using a dataset of 6.32 fb^{-1} of e^{+}e^{-} annihilation data collected with the BESIII detector at center-of-mass energies between 4178 and 4226 MeV, we have measured the absolute branching fraction of the leptonic decay D_{s}^{+}→τ^{+}ν_{τ} via τ^{+}→e^{+}ν_{e}ν[over ¯]_{τ}, and find B_{D_{s}^{+}→τ^{+}ν_{τ}}=(5.27±0.10±0.12)×10^{-2}, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second is systematic. The precision is improved by a factor of 2 compared to the previous best measurement. Combining with f_{D_{s}^{+}} from lattice quantum chromodynamics calculations or the |V_{cs}| from the CKMfitter group, we extract |V_{cs}|=0.978±0.009±0.012 and f_{D_{s}^{+}}=(251.1±2.4±3.0) MeV, respectively. Combining our result with the world averages of B_{D_{s}^{+}→τ^{+}ν_{τ}} and B_{D_{s}^{+}→μ^{+}ν_{μ}}, we obtain the ratio of the branching fractions B_{D_{s}^{+}→τ^{+}ν_{τ}}/B_{D_{s}^{+}→μ^{+}ν_{μ}}=9.72±0.37, which is consistent with the standard model prediction of lepton flavor universality.

Abstract
Using 2.93 fb^{-1} of e^{+}e^{-} collision data taken with the BESIII detector at a center-of-mass energy of 3.773 GeV, the observation of the D^{0}→K_{1}(1270)^{-}e^{+}ν_{e} semileptonic decay is presented. The statistical significance of the decay D^{0}→K_{1}(1270)^{-}e^{+}ν_{e} is greater than 10σ. The branching fraction of D^{0}→K_{1}(1270)^{-}e^{+}ν_{e} is measured to be (1.09±0.13_{-0.16}^{+0.09}±0.12)×10^{-3}. Here, the first uncertainty is statistical, the second is systematic, and the third originates from the assumed branching fraction of K_{1}(1270)^{-}→K^{-}π^{+}π^{-}. The fraction of longitudinal polarization in D^{0}→K_{1}(1270)^{-}e^{+}ν_{e} is determined for the first time to be 0.50±0.19_{stat}±0.08_{syst}.

Abstract
CD63 is a member of the four-transmembrane-domain protein superfamily and is the first characterized tetraspanin protein. In the present study, we cloned the common carp (Cyprinus Carpio) CD63 (ccCD63) sequence and found that the ccCD63 ORF contained 711 bp and encoded a protein of 236 amino acids. Homology analysis revealed that the complete ccCD63 sequence had 84.08% amino acid similarity to CD63 of Sinocyclocheilus anshuiensis. Subcellular localization analysis revealed that ccCD63 was localized in the cytoplasm. Quantitative real-time PCR (qRT-PCR) analysis indicated that ccCD63 was expressed in the gill, intestine, liver, spleen, brain and kidney, with higher expression in spleen and brain tissues than in the other examined tissues. After koi herpesvirus (KHV) infection, these tissues exhibited various expression levels of ccCD63. The expression level was the lowest in the liver and highest in the brain; the expression level in the brain was 8.7-fold higher than that in the liver. Furthermore, knockdown of ccCD63 promoted KHV infection. Moreover, ccCD63 was correlated with the regulation of RIG-I/MAVS/TRAF3/TBK1/IRF3 and may be involved in the antiviral response through the RIG-I viral recognition signalling pathway in a TRAF3/TBK1-dependent manner. Taken together, our results suggested that ccCD63 upregulated the interaction of KHV with the host immune system and suppressed the dissemination of KHV.

Clinical outcomes and 5-year follow-up results of keratosis pilaris treated by a high concentration of glycolic acid. World J Clin Cases 2021; 9:4681-4689. [PMID: 34222434 PMCID: PMC8223817 DOI: 10.12998/wjcc.v9.i18.4681] [Citation(s) in RCA: 4] [Impact Index Per Article: 1.3] [Reference Citation Analysis] [Abstract] [Key Words] [Track Full Text] [Download PDF] [Journal Information] [Submit a Manuscript] [Subscribe] [Scholar Register] [Received: 01/26/2021] [Revised: 03/11/2021] [Accepted: 04/22/2021] [Indexed: 02/06/2023] Open
Abstract
BACKGROUND Keratosis pilaris is a hereditary abnormal keratosis of the hair follicle orifice. Gray-brown keratotic plugs in the pores and dark red keratotic papules at the openings of hair follicles can be seen, which contain coiled hair and are often accompanied by perifollicular erythema and pigmentation. Glycolic acid can correct the abnormalities of hair follicular duct keratosis and eliminate excessive accumulation of keratinocytes. It also promotes skin metabolism and accelerates the melanin metabolism. The therapeutic effect is related to the glycolic acid concentration.
AIM To evaluate the efficacy and safety of a high concentration of glycolic acid in the treatment of keratosis pilaris, and to observe the outcomes at 5-year of follow-up.
METHODS Twenty-five participants were recruited and areas with typical keratosis pilaris were selected as testing sites. High concentrations of glycolic acid (50% or 70%) were applied to a circular area (d = 8 cm, S = 50 cm2) and repeated four times, on days 0, 20, 40 and 60. Before each treatment and 20 d after the last treatment, on days 0, 20, 40, 60, and 80 and at a 5-year follow-up, The number of follicular keratotic papules were counted and the extent of perifollicular erythema and pigmentation was determined. At the same time, the participants provided subjective evaluations of treatment efficacy and safety.
RESULTS Treatment effectiveness was indicated by the percentage of keratotic papules in the test site, on days 20, 40, 60 and 80, which were 8%, 12%, 36%, and 60%, respectively. Compared with day 0, each difference was significant (P < 0.05). Compared with day 0, differences in melanin content (M) in the skin and skin lightness (L) on days 40, 60 and 80, the were statistically significant (P < 0.05); skin hemoglobin content (E) on days 60 and 80 was statistically different as compared with before treatment (P < 0.05). There were no significant differences in the number of keratotic papules, M, L, and E in 9 participants at the 5-year follow-up compared with before treatment (P > 0.05%).
CONCLUSION A high concentration of glycolic acid significantly improved skin roughness as well as follicular hyperpigmentation of patients with keratosis pilaris. The treatment was relatively safe, but there was no significant difference at the 5-year follow-up compared to before treatment.
