Abstract
The health system has encountered great challenges since the COVID-19 outbreak, volunteers are urgently needed in every situation during this crisis. The current study aimed to explore the relationship between empathy and COVID-19 volunteer behavior, along with the moderating role of COVID-19 risk perception in the above relationship. The cross-sectional survey was conducted online using Wenjuanxing from February 12th to March 16th, 2021, in Jiangsu, China. A total of 1,486 participants completed the Toronto Empathy COVID-19 volunteer behavior and COVID-19 risk perception questionnaires. The SPSS PROCESS macro was yielded to examine the moderating effect. Simple slopes analysis was conducted to detect the associations between empathy and COVID-19 volunteer behavior at three levels of the COVID-19 risk perception. The Johnson-Neyman (J-N) technique was used to calculate where the moderating effect is significance. Results showed that empathy was positively related with COVID-19 volunteer behavior (β= 0.080, p < 0.001). COVID-19 risk perception played a moderation effect on association between empathy and COVID-19 volunteer behavior (β = -0.005, p < 0.001), the greater the levels of COVID-19 risk perception, the weaker the associations between empathy and COVID-19 volunteer behavior. The J-N test showed the association between empathy and COVID-19 volunteer behavior was no longer significant when values of COVID-19 risk perception was >10.71. Current findings could enlighten researchers and policy makers, that fostering volunteerism among public during crisis situation through arousing more empathy and reducing unnecessary risk perception of the public.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the clinical effect of applying the digital six-axis external fixation frame based on CT data in the treatment of tibiofibular fractures. Methods: The clinical data of 43 patients with tibiofibular fractures treated by the self-developed digital six-axis external fixation frame based on CT data at Integrated Orthopedic Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Western Medicine,HongHui Hospital from January 2018 to January 2021 were retrospective analysis.There were 27 males and 16 females,aged (36.0±9.4) years(range:25 to 50 years).AO classification:15 cases of 42A,11 cases of 42B, and 17 cases of 42C.There were 7 open fractures and Gustilo fracture classification:2 cases of type Ⅰ,4 cases of type Ⅱ,and 1 case of type Ⅲ.The two or three plane rings were connected with six connecting rods to form a complete six-axis external fixation frame,and the distal and proximal fracture blocks were connected to the distal and proximal rings by fixation pins,and the lengths of the six connecting rods needed to be adjusted were calculated by using the supporting software according to the CT data after surgery,and then the lengths of the connecting rods were adjusted one by one to complete the reduction of the fracture. The reduction accuracy of this six-axis external fixation brace was evaluated by measuring postoperative radiographs; postoperative recovery and complications were collected,the time of brace removal was recorded,and the function of the affected limb was evaluated according to the Johner-Wruhs score at the final follow-up. Results: Postoperative radiographs showed that all patients achieved satisfactory reduction with lateral displacement(M(IQR)) of 2.3(2.5) mm (range:0.3 to 7.3 mm),anteroposterior displacement of 2.1 (2.4) mm (range:0.3 to 5.7 mm),anteroposterior angulation of 2.5(2.4)°(range:0 to 5°),internal and external angulation of 2.1(1.5)°(range:0 to 4°), and no significant internal or external rotational deformity was detected on the exterior.On the second postoperative day,all patients were able to walk with partial weight-bearing on crutches. All 43 patients were followed up for more than 6 months,with a follow-up period of (33.3±7.3) weeks (range:24 to 42 weeks).The external fixation frame was removed after the fracture healed.The external frame was removed at 20(3)weeks (range:18 to 25 weeks) postoperatively. Up to the final follow up, no secondary fracture occurred in any of them.The Johner-Wruhs score of the affected limb at the last follow-up was excellent in 39 cases and good in 4 cases. Conclusion: The digital six-axis external fixator based on CT data for tibiofibular fractures has the advantages of precise reduction,firm fixation,simple operation,rapid fracture healing,and minimal trauma, which is a minimally invasive method for treating tibiofibular fractures,especially suitable for patients with poor skin and soft tissue conditions such as open injuries.

Abstract
Objective: To learn about the noise exposure and health status of workers and analyze factors that may affect the health outcomes of workers in an auto manufacturing enterprise in Tianjin City. Methods: In September 2020, occupational hygiene survey, noise exposure level detection and occupational health examination data collection were carried out in an auto parts manufacturing enterprise. Chi square test and unconditional logistic regression analysis were used to analyze the health effects of noise exposure and hearing loss of 361 noise exposure workers. Results: The rates of over-standard noise exposure, hearing loss and hypertension were 69.39% (34/49) , 33.24% (120/361) and 11.36% (41/361) , respectively. There were upward trends on age and noise-working years for hearing loss and hypertension rates (χ(2)=-5.95, -6.16, -2.81, -2.74, P<0.05) . Unconditional logistic regression analysis showed that age>35 years old, noise exposure length of service >10 years and noise L(EX, 8 h)>85 dB (A) were risk factors for hearing loss (OR=3.57, 95%CI: 1.09, 11.75; OR=4.05, 95%CI: 1.97, 8.25; OR=1.75, 95%CI: 1.00, 3.05; P=0.036, 0.001, 0.047) . Conclusion: This company has a high rate of job noise exceeding the standard, and noise-exposed workers have more serious hearing loss. Age, noise exposure and high noise exposure are risk factors for hearing loss.

Abstract
The mortality of female breast cancer in Shandong Province has increased since the 1970. The differential decomposition analysis found that the slight decline in the crude mortality of breast cancer among women was entirely due to non-demographic factors during the 1970-1990, and the significant increase in the crude mortality was due to a combination of demographic and non-demographic factors since the 1990. The contribution rate of demographic factor has gradually increased from 53.5% in 2004-2005 to 59.5% in 2011-2013, while that of non-demographic factor has decreased from 46.5% to 40.5%. The women aged 45-64 years old were the major population of female breast cancer deaths, accounting for 40%-60% of total breast cancer deaths in different times, and then the mortality in female aged 55-64 years old increased rapidly, with increases of 52.12%, 115.19% and 29.01% in 2011-2013 over the 1970-1974, 1990-1992 and 2004-2005, respectively (Z=-7.342,P<0.001). Compared with 1970-1974, the age-standardized mortality rate of rural women increased by 41.86% in 2011-2013 (Z=-17.933, P<0.001), and that of urban women increased by 18.62% in 2011-2013 (Z=-25.642, P<0.001). The age-standardized mortality rate of breast cancer in urban women was higher than that in rural women in different times (all P<0.05). The spatial scan analysis found that eastern Shandong Province was found to be a sustained high-risk area for death, and other high-risk areas were transferred from north to southwest of Shandong between 1970 and 2013.

Abstract
During terahertz (THz) non-destructive testing (NDT), multiple echoes from the sample interface reflection signals are mixed with the detection signals, resulting in signal distortion and affecting the accuracy of the THz NDT results. Combined with the frequency property of multiple echoes, an improved wavelet multi-scale analysis is put forth in this paper to correct multiple echoes, allowing the maximum retention of detailed signal information in contrast with the existing echo correction methods. The results showed that the improved wavelet multi-scale analysis enhanced the continuity and smoothness of the image at least twice in testing adhesive layer thickness, prevented missing judgments and misjudgments in identifying characteristic defects, and ensured accurate detection results. Hence, it is of great significance for evaluating the THz NDT results.

Abstract
A major QTL of qRtsc8-1 conferring TSC resistance was identified and fine mapped to a 721 kb region on chromosome 8 at 81 Mb, and production markers were validated in breeding lines. Tar spot complex (TSC) is a major foliar disease of maize in many Central and Latin American countries and leads to severe yield loss. To dissect the genetic architecture of TSC resistance, a genome-wide association study (GWAS) panel and a bi-parental doubled haploid population were used for GWAS and selective genotyping analysis, respectively. A total of 115 SNPs in bin 8.03 were detected by GWAS and three QTL in bins 6.05, 6.07, and 8.03 were detected by selective genotyping. The major QTL qRtsc8-1 located in bin 8.03 was detected by both analyses, and it explained 14.97% of the phenotypic variance. To fine map qRtsc8-1, the recombinant-derived progeny test was implemented. Recombinations in each generation were backcrossed, and the backcross progenies were genotyped with Kompetitive Allele Specific PCR (KASP) markers and phenotyped for TSC resistance individually. The significant tests for comparing the TSC resistance between the two classes of progenies with and without resistant alleles were used for fine mapping. In BC5 generation, qRtsc8-1 was fine mapped in an interval of ~ 721 kb flanked by markers of KASP81160138 and KASP81881276. In this interval, the candidate genes GRMZM2G063511 and GRMZM2G073884 were identified, which encode an integral membrane protein-like and a leucine-rich repeat receptor-like protein kinase, respectively. Both genes are involved in maize disease resistance responses. Two production markers KASP81160138 and KASP81160155 were verified in 471 breeding lines. This study provides valuable information for cloning the resistance gene, and it will also facilitate the routine implementation of marker-assisted selection in the breeding pipeline for improving TSC resistance.

Abstract
A joint determination of the reactor antineutrino spectra resulting from the fission of ^{235}U and ^{239}Pu has been carried out by the Daya Bay and PROSPECT Collaborations. This Letter reports the level of consistency of ^{235}U spectrum measurements from the two experiments and presents new results from a joint analysis of both data sets. The measurements are found to be consistent. The combined analysis reduces the degeneracy between the dominant ^{235}U and ^{239}Pu isotopes and improves the uncertainty of the ^{235}U spectral shape to about 3%. The ^{235}U and ^{239}Pu antineutrino energy spectra are unfolded from the jointly deconvolved reactor spectra using the Wiener-SVD unfolding method, providing a data-based reference for other reactor antineutrino experiments and other applications. This is the first measurement of the ^{235}U and ^{239}Pu spectra based on the combination of experiments at low- and highly enriched uranium reactors.

Abstract
Hybrid organic-inorganic perovskites is a class of materials with diverse chemically tunable properties and outstanding potential for multifunctionality. We use first-principles simulations to predict room temperature ferroelectricity in a representative of the formate family, [NH_{2}NH_{3}][Co(HCOO)_{3}]. The ferroelectricity arises as a "by-product" of structural transition driven by the stabilization of the hydrogen bond. As a consequence the coupling with the electric field is relatively weak giving origin to large intrinsic coercive fields and making material immune to the depolarizing fields known for its detrimental role in nanoscale ferroelectrics. Insensitivity to the electric field and the intrinsic dynamics of the order-disorder transition in such material leads to the supercoercivity defined as significant increase in the coercive field with frequency. Room temperature polarization measurements provide further support for the predictions.

Abstract
AIM To characterise the computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) features, in particular the functional MRI characteristics, of extraocular muscle granular cell tumours (GCTs). MATERIALS AND METHODS The CT (n=6) and MRI (n=8) features of eight extraocular muscle GCTs cofirmed at histopathology were analysed retrospectively. The imaging findings were evaluated with emphasis on the location, size, margin, shape, extent, bony change, internal architecture, enhancement pattern, and extent of lesions. Based on diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) and dynamic contrast-enhanced (DCE) MRI, the apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) value of six lesions and time-intensity curve (TIC) of one lesion were reviewed. RESULTS Immunohistochemistry revealed strong positivity for S-100 protein and a low Ki-67 index (2-5%) in all cases. Most of the lesions (7/8) were confined to the muscle belly with an ovoid shape. All of the tumours were isodense to cerebral grey matter and showed homogeneously mild enhancement on CT images. All lesions were hypointense to cerebral grey matter on T2-weighted imaging (T2WI) and showed homogeneously marked enhancement on contrast-enhanced T1-weighted imaging (T1WI). All lesions showed a hypo- or isointense signal on DWI images with a high b-value. The mean ADC of six lesions was (0.72 ± 0.14) × 10-3 mm2/s. The TIC of the case examined using DCE-MRI showed a plateau pattern (type II). CONCLUSION A well-defined oval mass confined to the muscle belly with a hypointense signal on T2WI, homogeneously marked enhancement on contrast-enhanced T1WI, hypo- or isointense signal on DWI, and low ADC value is highly suggestive of a GCT.

Abstract
Objective: To collate and analyze the screening results of high-risk lung cancer populations in communities in Nanchang from 2018 to 2019, and to explore the lung-positive nodules and risk factors for lung cancer. Methods: Data of the screening subjects in 8 administrative districts and 15 street health service centers in Nanchang city, Jiangxi province from November 2018 to October 2019 were collected, people at high risk of lung cancer was assessed, clinical screening of high-risk groups of lung cancer was conducted by low-dose helical computed tomography (LDCT), and risk factors for suspected lung cancer and lung-positive nodules were analyzed. Results: Of the 25 871 people participated in screening, 5 220 were at high risk for lung cancer and 15 374 without other malignant tumors were at high risk. There were 2 417 cases participated in clinical LDCT screening, including 193 cases of lung-positive nodules, 67 cases of suspected lung cancer, 912 cases of other lung diseases, the positive rate of lung cancer or lung-positive nodules was 10.76% (260/2 417). Univariate analysis showed that age, coarse grain intake, oil intake, housing heating, passive smoking, alcohol consumption and mental trauma were associated with positive pulmonary nodules or lung cancer (all P<0.05). Multivariate analysis showed that gender, age, housing heating, smoking and drinking were related to the occurrence of lung nodules or lung cancer (all P<0.05). Conclusions: Men are more likely to develop lung cancer or lung-positive nodules than women. The age is an independent risk factor for lung-positive nodules or lung cancer. In a certain range, age will increase the incidence of lung cancer, housing heating may be the protective factor for lung cancer, while smoking and drinking are risk factors.

Abstract
Introduction: The association patterns of hemoglobin (HB) concentrations with mortality among the longevity older adults are unclear. We aimed to evaluate the relationship among older adults form Chinese longevity regions. Methods: We included 1,785 older adults aged ≥65 years (mean age, 86.7 years; 1,002 women, 783 men) from the community-based Chinese Longitudinal Healthy Longevity Survey. We estimated the hazard ratios (HRs) and 95% confidence intervals (CIs) for all-cause mortality using multivariable Cox proportional hazards models and Cox models with restricted cubic spline. Results: In total, 999 deaths occurred during a median follow-up of 5.4 years from 2011 to 2017. Restricted cubic spline analysis found no non-linear association between HB concentrations and all-cause mortality after a full adjustment for covariates among the older adults form longevity regions (p > 0.05 for non-linearity). The risk for all-cause mortality was significantly higher in the groups with HB concentration of <11.0 g/dL (HR: 1.37, 95% CI: 1.10-1.70) and 11.0-12.0 g/dL (HR: 1.25, 95% CI: 1.01-1.54); the risk of all-cause mortality was significantly lower in the groups with HB concentration ≥14.0 g/dL (HR: 0.76, 95% CI: 0.60-0.97) compared with the reference group (13.0-13.9 g/dL). Conclusions: Among older adults form Chinese longevity regions, HB concentrations were found to be inversely and linearly associated with all-cause mortality. Further prospective intervention trials are needed to confirm whether higher HB concentrations had a lower risk of mortality in these older adults.

Abstract
AIM To investigate the diagnostic performance of the radiomics features of pericoronary adipose tissue (PCAT) in determining haemodynamically significant coronary artery stenosis as evaluated by fractional flow reserve (FFR). MATERIALS AND METHODS A total of 92 patients with clinically suspected coronary artery disease who underwent coronary computed tomography (CT) angiography (CCTA), invasive coronary angiography (ICA), and FFR examination within 1 month were included retrospectively, and 121 lesions were randomly assigned to the training and testing set. Based on manual segmentation of PCAT, 1,116 radiomics features were computed. After radiomics robustness assessment and feature selection, radiomics models were established using the different machine-learning algorithms. The area under the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve (AUC) and net reclassification index (NRI) were analysed to compare the discrimination and reclassification abilities of radiomics models. RESULTS Two radiomics features were selected after exclusions, and both were significantly higher in coronary arteries with FFR ≤0.8 than those with FFR >0.8. ROC analysis showed that the combination of CCTA and decision tree radiomics model achieved significantly higher diagnostic performance (AUC: 0.812) than CCTA alone (AUC: 0.599, p=0.015). Furthermore, the NRI of the combined model was 0.820 and 0.775 in the training and testing sets, respectively, suggesting the radiomics features of PCAT had were effective in classifying the haemodynamic significance of coronary stenosis. CONCLUSIONS Adding PCAT radiomics features to CCTA enabled identification of haemodynamically significant coronary artery stenosis.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the pathogen distribution and antimicrobial resistance among lower respiratory tract infections in patients with hematological malignancies. Methods: Sputum samples were collected from 967 patients with hematological malignancies and lower respiratory tract infections in Department of Hematology,the Second Hospital of Shanxi Medical University from January 2017 to July 2020. The pathogens and drug sensitivity reports were carried out by automatic bacterial identification instruments. WHONET 5.6 and SPSS 20.0 softwares were used for statistical analysis. Results: A total of 961 strains of pathogens were isolated, 516 (53.7%) pathogens were Gram-negative bacteria, mainly 118 strains of Klebsiella pneumonia (12.3%), 68 strains of Pseudomonas aeruginosa (7.1%), 67 strains of Acinetobacter baumannii (7.0%),52 strains of Stenotrophomonas maltophilia (5.4%), 43 strains of Escherichia coli (4.5%), and 42 strains of Enterbacter cloacae (4.4%). There were 171 (17.8%) strains of Gram-positive bacteria and 274 (28.5%) fungi. The drug resistance rates of Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Acinetobacter baumannii to carbapenem were 22.1%-31.3%. Stenotrophomonas maltophilia was sensitive to levofloxacin, compound sulfamethoxazole and minocycline. The antimicrobial resistance rates of these three enterobacteria to carbapenems, cefoperazone/sulbactam, piperacillin/tazobactam were low (<10%). The resistant Gram-positive bacteria to ticoplanin, vancomycin and linazolamide were not detected. Conclusion: The major pathogens related to lower respiratory tract infections in patients with hematological malignancies are gram-negative bacteria in our centre. Different pathogens appear different characteristics of antimicrobial resistance.

Abstract
Introduction: Falls, which have a higher incidence and mortality due to accidental injuries, are a major global health challenge. The effects of lifestyle factor, health indicator, psychological condition, and functional status interventions on the risk of falls are unknown and the conventional regression model would not adjust for the confounders. This study aimed to evaluate the 4-year risk of falls on the basis of these hypothetical interventions among Chinese older adults. Methods: Data were obtained from 9,692 aged 65 years and over older adults in the China Health and Retirement Longitudinal Study wave, from 2011 to 2015. We used the parametric g-formula to evaluate the risk of falls on the basis of independent hypothetical interventions of sleep duration, social activities, smoking status, drinking status, body mass index (BMI), systolic blood pressure (SBP), vision, depression, activities of daily living (ADL), and their different joint intervention combinations. Results: During the follow-up of 4 years, we documented 1,569 falls. The observed risk of falls was 23.58%. The risk ratios (95% confidence intervals [CIs]) of falls under the intensive hypothetical interventions on increasing sleep duration, participating in more social activities, quit smoking and drinking, reducing BMI and SBP, better vision, alleviating depressive symptoms, and improving ADL capability were 0.93 (0.87–0.96), 0.88 (0.79–0.92), 0.98 (0.95–1.03), 0.97 (0.95–1.02), 0.92 (0.86–1.03), 0.93 (0.87–1.04), 0.86 (0.74–0.91), 0.91 (0.85–0.96), and 0.79 (0.74–0.85), respectively. The feasible and intensive joint hypothetical intervention reduced the 4-year fall risk by 22% (95% CI: 0.52–0.91) and 33% (95% CI: 0.56–0.72), respectively. Conclusions: Hypothetical interventions for increasing sleep duration, participating in more social activities, better vision, alleviating depressive symptoms, and improving ADL capability help protect older adults from falls. Our findings suggest that a combination of lifestyle factors, health indicators, psychological conditions, and functional status may prove to be an effective strategy for preventing falls among older adults.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the effect of vincristine on the proliferation of ovarian cancer cells by regulating RASSF2A demethylation. Methods: SKOV3 cells were infected with control (LV-NC) and RASSF2A lentivirus (LV-RASSF2A) and treated with or without vincristine. Cell counting kit-8 (CCK-8) was used to detect the activity of ovarian cancer cells (SKOV3) treated with different doses of vincristine. Colony formation assay was used to detect the proliferation of SKOV3 cells. Flow cytometry was used to detect the apoptosis of SKOV3 cells. Real time polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) was used to examine the mRNA expression of RASSF2A in IOSE-29 and SKOV3 cells. Western blot was used to examine the protein expression of RASSF2A in IOSE-29 and SKOV3 cells. Methylation-specific PCR was used to detect methylation and demethylation levels of RASSF2A gene in IOSE-29 and SKOV3 cells. Results: The cell viabilities of SKOV3 cell treated with 6.25 nmol/L, 12.5 nmol/L, 25 nmol/L, 50 nmol/L and 100 nmol/L vincristine were (87.19±4.49)%, (73.67±8.62)%, (66.35±6.04)%, (50.32±6.00)% and (34.92±6.11)%, respectively, lower than (100.46±4.69)% of control group (P<0.05). The half maximal inhibitory concentration of vincristine at 48 hours was 50.02 nmol/L. The proliferation abilities of SKOV3 cells in vincristine 12.5 nmol/L group, 25 nmol/L group and 50 nmol/L group were (41.70±2.21)%, (32.15±1.80)% and (23.00±2.01)%, respectively, significantly lower than (100.78±5.66)% in the control group (all P<0.05). The apoptotic rates of SKOV3 cells in vincristine 12.5 nmol/L group, 25 nmol/L group and 50 nmol/L group were (3.65±0.27)%, (5.21±0.76)% and (10.46±1.00)%, respectively, significantly higher than (2.12±0.23)% in the control group (all P<0.05). Compared with the IOSE-29 group (1.00±0.07 and 0.68±0.04), the mRNA expression (0.32±0.04) and protein expression (0.24±0.02) of RASSF2A were down-regulated in SKOV3 cells (P<0.05). Compared with the LV-NC group [(101.60±4.39)%, (100.73±3.29)%, (4.06±0.30)%], over-expression of RASSF2A down-requlated cell viability (68.92±3.94)%, inhibited proliferation (16.38±2.16)%, and promoted apoptosis (8.65±0.56)%, (P<0.05). Conclusion: Vincristine can increase RASSF2A expression and inhibit ovarian cancer cell proliferation by promoting the demethylation of RASSF2A promoter.

Abstract
Pudong White (PDW) pigs, historically originating from Shanghai, are the only Chinese indigenous pigs characterised by their completely white coats, with the exception of Rongchang pigs. However, there is limited information concerning their overall genetic structure or relationship with other breeds, especially the East Chinese (ECN) and European pigs. To uncover the genetic structure, selection signatures, and potential exotic introgression in PDW pigs, we sampled 15 PDW pigs using whole-genome sequencing (~20×). We then conducted in-depth population genetic analyses in 320 pigs from 27 global pig groups, namely, European wild boars, Chinese wild boars, and outgroup. Neighbour-joining tree and principal component analysis confirmed that PDW pigs belonged to the ecotype of ECN pigs. Both f3, D-statistics, and structure analysis showed that PDW pigs shared apparent alleles with Large White (LW) pigs. Three statistics, rIBD, a haplotype heat map and copy number variation, further indicated that PDW pigs shared apparent alleles with LW pigs at the KIT Proto-Oncogene, Receptor Tyrosine Kinase (KIT) and PARG-MARCHF8 loci, suggesting that the lineage of European pigs in PDW originated from LW pigs. After further detecting the KIT mutations in different pig breeds, PDW was confirmed to have the same duplication region 1, duplication region 2, and the splicing mutation on intron 17 of KIT as LW pigs that determine the white coat colour phenotype in European white pigs. We hypothesised that LW pigs were imported to China ∼110-160 years ago according to the admixture time estimate and then crossed with ECN pigs, resulting in the introgression of the KIT alleles that produce the white coat colour phenotype in the PDW pig breed. To our knowledge, this study presents the first thorough description of the genetic structure of PDW pigs via whole-genome resequencing data; moreover, the results provide a basis for the national project for the conservation of this unique Chinese local population.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION Intestinal tumor is one of the most common tumors that seriously threaten the health of residents all over the world. Studies suggest that the imbalance of intestinal flora is associated with tumorgenesis; meanwhile, long-term regular aerobic exercise can improve the occurrence and development of tumors. However, moderate aerobic exercise affecting the development of intestinal tumors and their related flora has not been explored. Thus, the purpose of our study is to explore the effects of aerobic exercise on intestinal tumor growth and flora changes in ApcMin/+ mice, and try to answer whether there is a correlation between them after exercise intervention. METHODS In this study, 18 required ApcMin/+ mice were randomly divided into Model group (n = 6), Exercise group (n = 6), and Aspirin group (positive control, n = 6), while C57BL/6 J wild-type mice were used as the blank control group. Each group is given corresponding intervention. Weight monitoring, tumor counts, hematoxylin-eosin staining, TdT-mediated dUTP nick-end labeling (TUNEL) fluorescence assay, immunohistochemistry (IHC), fecal sampling and grouping, and bacterial 16S rDNA gene analysis were completed after 12 weeks' intervention for each group of mice. RESULTS As a result, we were able to show significant improvements in mice' body weight changing rates (Exercise group 8.6% higher than Model control group), tumor numbers (Exercise group 4.33 ± 0.94 vs. Model control group 7.33 ± 2.49, Then put the slides into xylenewith tumor inhibition rate 40.93%), tumor pathological staging (Exercise group mainly low-grade tumorous adenomas vs. Model group mainly high-grade adenomas), and TUNEL staining (Exercise group 8.59% higher positive rate of apoptotic cells in tumors than Model group). The 16s rRNA sequencing analysis results showed that aerobic exercise could regulate the abundance of some genus (16/149, P < 0.01), and the number of intestinal tumors correlates with changes in the abundance of some bacteria in the intestinal flora (positive correlation with probiotics abundance and negative correlation with conditioned pathogens). DISCUSSION Changes in flora abundance may be one of the reasons for aerobic exercise to reduce the number of intestinal tumors, probably mediated by cell apoptosis. Future studies should focus on the potential mechanism of aerobic exercise in preventing intestinal tumorgenesis, especially the molecular mechanism through intestinal flora. CONCLUSION Aerobic exercise has a preventive effect on intestinal tumors in ApcMin/+ mice, and can regulate the abundance of intestinal flora.

Abstract
Tar spot complex (TSC) is one of the most important foliar diseases in tropical maize. TSC resistance could be furtherly improved by implementing marker-assisted selection (MAS) and genomic selection (GS) individually, or by implementing them stepwise. Implementation of GS requires a profound understanding of factors affecting genomic prediction accuracy. In the present study, an association-mapping panel and three doubled haploid populations, genotyped with genotyping-by-sequencing, were used to estimate the effectiveness of GS for improving TSC resistance. When the training and prediction sets were independent, moderate-to-high prediction accuracies were achieved across populations by using the training sets with broader genetic diversity, or in pairwise populations having closer genetic relationships. A collection of inbred lines with broader genetic diversity could be used as a permanent training set for TSC improvement, which can be updated by adding more phenotyped lines having closer genetic relationships with the prediction set. The prediction accuracies estimated with a few significantly associated SNPs were moderate-to-high, and continuously increased as more significantly associated SNPs were included. It confirmed that TSC resistance could be furtherly improved by implementing GS for selecting multiple stable genomic regions simultaneously, or by implementing MAS and GS stepwise. The factors of marker density, marker quality, and heterozygosity rate of samples had minor effects on the estimation of the genomic prediction accuracy. The training set size, the genetic relationship between training and prediction sets, phenotypic and genotypic diversity of the training sets, and incorporating known trait-marker associations played more important roles in improving prediction accuracy. The result of the present study provides insight into less complex trait improvement via GS in maize.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of cullin 4A (CUL4A) on the proliferation and apoptosis of colon cancer (CC) cells, and to elucidate its regulatory relationship with the Hippo pathway. PATIENTS AND METHODS Paired CC tissues and adjacent normal tissues were obtained from patients. CC cells were isolated and cultured in vitro. CUL4A was interfered by small interfering ribonucleic acid (siRNA) (siR-CUL4A group) or overexpressed by overexpression vector (CUL4A-Vector group), with negative control (NC)-CUL4A or CUL4A -NC as the control group. Quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR) was used to detect the expression level of CUL4A in CC tissues and cells. The proliferative ability of cells was detected by cell counting kit-8 (CCK-8) assay. Flow cytometry was applied to measure the apoptosis of cells in each group. Western blotting (WB) was conducted to determine the protein expression of CUL4A. In addition, the proliferative ability was examined in vivo through subcutaneous injection of cells into nude mice. RESULTS QRT-PCR showed that CUL4A was highly expressed in 66.67% of CC samples (p<0.01). In vivo and in vitro proliferative ability was significantly reduced in siR-CUL4A group (p<0.01), whereas the apoptosis rate was promoted (p<0.01). However, in vivo and in vitro proliferative ability increased significantly in CUL4A-Vector group (p<0.01), while the apoptosis rate was reduced (p<0.01). The protein expressions of MST1, LATS1 and p-YAP were significantly up-regulated in siR-CUL4A group (p<0.01), while they were remarkably down-regulated in CUL4A-Vector group (p<0.05, p<0.01). CONCLUSIONS CUL4A is highly expressed in CC and promotes the proliferation and inhibits the apoptosis of CC cells by regulating the Hippo pathway.
