Abstract
Objective: To establish a neural network model for predicting lymph node metastasis in patients with stage II-III gastric cancer. Methods: Case inclusion criteria: (1) gastric adenocarcinoma diagnosed by pathology as stage II-III (the 8th edition of AJCC staging); (2) no distant metastasis of liver, lung and abdominal cavity in preoperative chest film, abdominal ultrasound and upper abdominal CT; (3) undergoing R0 resection. Case exclusion criteria: (1) receiving preoperative neoadjuvant chemotherapy or radiotherapy; (2) incomplete clinical data; (3) gastric stump cancer.Clinicopathological data of 1231 patients with stage II-III gastric cancer who underwent radical surgery at the Fujian Medical University Union Hospital from January 2010 to August 2014 were retrospectively analyzed. A total of 1035 patients with lymph node metastasis were confirmed after operation, and 196 patients had no lymph node metastasis. According to the postoperative pathologic staging. 416 patients (33.8%) were stage Ⅱ and 815 patients (66.2%) were stage III. Patients were randomly divided into training group (861/1231, 69.9%) and validation group (370/1231, 30.1%) to establish an artificial neural network model (N+-ANN) for the prediction of lymph node metastasis. Firstly, the Logistic univariate analysis method was used to retrospectively analyze the case samples of the training group, screen the variables affecting lymph node metastasis, determine the variable items of the input point of the artificial neural network, and then the multi-layer perceptron (MLP) to train N+-ANN. The input layer of N+-ANN was composed of the variables screened by Logistic univariate analysis. Artificial intelligence analyzed the status of lymph node metastasis according to the input data and compared it with the real value. The accuracy of the model was evaluated by drawing the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve and obtaining the area under the curve (AUC). The ability of N+-ANN was evaluated by sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive values, negative predictive values, and AUC values. Results: There were no significant differences in baseline data between the training group and validation group (all P>0.05). Univariate analysis of the training group showed that preoperative platelet to lymphocyte ratio (PLR), preoperative systemic immune inflammation index (SII), tumor size, clinical N (cN) stage were closely related to postoperative lymph node metastasis. The N+-ANN was constructed based on the above variables as the input layer variables. In the training group, the accuracy of N+-ANN for predicting postoperative lymph node metastasis was 88.4% (761/861), the sensitivity was 98.9% (717/725), the specificity was 32.4% (44/136), the positive predictive value was 88.6% (717/809), the negative predictive value was 84.6% (44/52), and the AUC value was 0.748 (95%CI: 0.717-0.776). In the validation group, N+-ANN had a prediction accuracy of 88.4% (327/370) with a sensitivity of 99.7% (309/310), specificity of 30.0% (18/60), positive predictive value of 88.0% (309/351), negative predictive value of 94.7% (18/19), and an AUC of 0.717 (95%CI:0.668-0.763). According to the individualized lymph node metastasis probability output by N+-ANN, the cut-off values of 0-50%, >50%-75%, >75%-90% and >90%-100% were applied and patients were divided into N0 group, N1 group, N2 group and N3 group. The overall prediction accuracy of N+-ANN for pN staging in the training group and the validation group was 53.7% and 54.1% respectively, while the overall prediction accuracy of cN staging for pN staging in the training group and the validation group was 30.1% and 33.2% respectively, indicating that N+-ANN had a better prediction than cN stage. Conclusions: The N+-ANN constructed in this study can accurately predict postoperative lymph node metastasis in patients with stage Ⅱ-Ⅲ gastric cancer. The N+-ANN based on individualized lymph node metastasis probability has better accurate prediction for pN staging as compared to cN staging.

Observation of Two New Excited Ξ_{b}^{0} States Decaying to Λ_{b}^{0}K^{-}π^{+}. PHYSICAL REVIEW LETTERS 2022; 128:162001. Abstract
Two narrow resonant states are observed in the Λ_{b}^{0}K^{-}π^{+} mass spectrum using a data sample of proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV, collected by the LHCb experiment and corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 6 fb^{-1}. The minimal quark content of the Λ_{b}^{0}K^{-}π^{+} system indicates that these are excited Ξ_{b}^{0} baryons. The masses of the Ξ_{b}(6327)^{0} and Ξ_{b}(6333)^{0} states are m[Ξ_{b}(6327)^{0}]=6327.28_{-0.21}^{+0.23}±0.12±0.24 and m[Ξ_{b}(6333)^{0}]=6332.69_{-0.18}^{+0.17}±0.03±0.22 MeV, respectively, with a mass splitting of Δm=5.41_{-0.27}^{+0.26}±0.12 MeV, where the uncertainties are statistical, systematic, and due to the Λ_{b}^{0} mass measurement. The measured natural widths of these states are consistent with zero, with upper limits of Γ[Ξ_{b}(6327)^{0}]<2.20(2.56) and Γ[Ξ_{b}(6333)^{0}]<1.60(1.92) MeV at a 90% (95%) credibility level. The significance of the two-peak hypothesis is larger than nine (five) Gaussian standard deviations compared to the no-peak (one-peak) hypothesis. The masses, widths, and resonant structure of the new states are in good agreement with the expectations for a doublet of 1D Ξ_{b}^{0} resonances.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the detection of suspected occupational diseases and occupational contraindications for benzene workers in Tianjin. Methods: In June 2020, the occupational health inspection data of 16113 benzene workers in 514 enterprises with benzene hazards in 16 municipal districts in Tianjin from January to December 2019 were included in the analysis. Enterprise information included the employer's region, economic type, industry classification and enterprise scale. Occupational health inspection data for benzene workers during their on-the-job period included routine inspection indicators and benzene special inspection indicators. Multivariate unconditional logistic regression was used to analyze the relationship between personal general information, occupational history, enterprise information and suspected benzene poisoning and occupational contraindications of benzene workers. Results: There were 16073 benzene workers in the normal group and 24 in the suspected benzene poisoning group. The detection rate of suspected benzene poisoning in females was higher than that in males (χ(2)=8.26, P=0.004) . There was no significant difference in the detection rates of suspected benzene poisoning among different dimensions such as age, length of service, occupational health inspection institution location, employer location, industry classification, economic type, and enterprise scale (P>0.05) . There were 16073 benzene workers in the normal group and 16 in the benzene contraindication group. The detection rate of benzene contraindications for workers in suburban areas where occupational health inspection institutions were located was higher than that in urban areas (χ(2)=9.71, P=0.002) , and there was no significant difference in the detection rates of contraindications for benzene in other dimensions (P>0.05) . Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that female benzene workers were more likely to detect suspected benzene poisoning (OR=3.53, 95%CI: 1.57-7.94, P=0.002) ; benzene workers who received physical examination in suburban occupational health inspection institutions (OR=5.81, 95%CI: 1.94-17.42, P=0.002) , the employer's area was in the suburbs (OR=9.68, 95%CI: 1.23-76.07, P=0.031) , and female workers (OR=3.07, 95%CI: 1.13-8.37, P=0.028) , it was easier to detect occupational contraindications. Conclusion: Female benzene workers with employers located in the suburbs have a higher risk of detecting occupational contraindications, and women are more likely to detect suspected benzene poisoning. The management of benzene operations in the production environment of enterprises in the suburbs of Tianjin and the occupational health monitoring of female workers should be strengthened.

Measurement of the Nuclear Modification Factor and Prompt Charged Particle Production in p-Pb and pp Collisions at sqrt[s_{NN}]=5 TeV. PHYSICAL REVIEW LETTERS 2022; 128:142004. Abstract
The production of prompt charged particles in proton-lead collisions and in proton-proton collisions at the nucleon-nucleon center-of-mass energy sqrt[s_{NN}]=5 TeV is studied at LHCb as a function of pseudorapidity (η) and transverse momentum (p_{T}) with respect to the proton beam direction. The nuclear modification factor for charged particles is determined as a function of η between -4.8<η<-2.5 (backward region) and 2.0<η<4.8 (forward region), and p_{T} between 0.2<p_{T}<8.0 GeV/c. The results show a suppression of charged particle production in proton-lead collisions relative to proton-proton collisions in the forward region and an enhancement in the backward region for p_{T} larger than 1.5 GeV/c. This measurement constrains nuclear PDFs and saturation models at previously unexplored values of the parton momentum fraction down to 10^{-6}.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the relationship between body mass index (BMI) and sexual development in Chinese children. Methods: A nationwide multicenter and population-based large cross-sectional study was conducted in 13 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities of China from January 2017 to December 2018. Data on sex, age, height, weight were collected, BMI was calculated and sexual characteristics were analyzed. The subjects were divided into four groups based on age, including ages 3-<6 years, 6-<10 years, 10-<15 years and 15-<18 years. Multiple Logistic regression models were used for evaluating the associations of BMI with sexual development in children. Dichotomous Logistic regression was used to compare the differences in the distribution of early and non-early puberty among normal weight, overweight and obese groups. Curves were drawn to analyze the relationship between the percentage of early puberty and BMI distribution in girls and boys at different Tanner stages. Results: A total of 208 179 healthy children (96 471 girls and 111 708 boys) were enrolled in this study. The OR values of B2, B3 and B4+ in overweight girls were 1.72 (95%CI: 1.56-1.89), 3.19 (95%CI: 2.86-3.57), 7.14 (95%CI: 6.33-8.05) and in obese girls were 2.05 (95%CI: 1.88-2.24), 4.98 (95%CI: 4.49-5.53), 11.21 (95%CI: 9.98-12.59), respectively; while the OR values of G2, G3, G4+ in overweight boys were 1.27 (95%CI: 1.17-1.38), 1.52 (95%CI: 1.36-1.70), 1.88 (95%CI: 1.66-2.14) and in obese boys were 1.27 (95%CI: 1.17-1.37), 1.59 (95%CI: 1.43-1.78), and 1.93 (95%CI: 1.70-2.18) (compared with normal weight Tanner 1 group, all P<0.01). Analysis in different age groups found that OR values of obese girls at B2 stage and boys at G2 stage were 2.02 (95%CI: 1.06-3.86) and 2.32 (95%CI:1.05-5.12) in preschool children aged 3-<6 years, respectively (both P<0.05). And in the age group of 6-10 years, overweight girls had a 5.45-fold risk and obese girls had a 12.54-fold risk of B3 stage compared to girls with normal BMI. Compared with normal weight children, the risk of early puberty was 2.67 times higher in overweight girls, 3.63 times higher in obese girls, and 1.22 times higher in overweight boys, 1.35 times higher in obese boys (all P<0.01). Among the children at each Tanner stages, the percentage of early puberty increased with the increase of BMI, from 5.7% (80/1 397), 16.1% (48/299), 13.8% (27/195) to 25.7% (198/769), 65.1% (209/321), 65.4% (157/240) in girls aged 8-<9, 10-<11 and 11-<12 years, and 6.6% (34/513), 18.7% (51/273), 21.6% (57/264) to 13.3% (96/722), 46.4% (140/302), 47.5% (105/221) in boys aged 9-<10, 12-<13 and 13-<14 years, respectively. Conclusions: BMI is positively correlated with sexual development in both Chinese boys and girls, and the correlation is stronger in girls. Obesity is a risk factor for precocious puberty in preschool children aged 3-<6 years, and 6-<10 years of age is a high risk period for early development in obese girls.

Abstract
Objective: To establish a sustainable updated literature data warehouse for global vaccine safety assessment, and provide data support for evidence-based vaccine safety assessment. Methods: Semi-automated construction and updating of a literature data warehouse were achieved through the continuous integration of standard operating steps of evidence-based reviews with artificial intelligence technologies. Following the standard procedure of a systematic literature review, the literatures about vaccine safety assessment published before November 29, 2020 were retrieved from 9 databases including OVID, Scopus, Web of Science, Cochrane Library, and ClinicalTrails.org in English and Wanfang, CNKI, VIP, and SinoMed in Chinese. Literatures were screened for two rounds in a semi-automatic manner (by artificial intelligence literature processing system and manual work) according to the inclusion/exclusion criteria. Furthermore, the literatures were classified according to the types of vaccines and adverse events. The updating strategy was established, and the literature data warehouse was updated regularly. Experts were organized to select specific vaccine safety topics and carry out special demonstration studies. Results: More than 0.41 million articles were retrieved. According to the inclusion/exclusion criteria, 23 304 articles were included after two rounds of screening. At present, we have selected and completed three prior topics as demonstration studies, including the systematic review of "DPT (diphtheria, pertussis and tetanus) vaccine and encephalopathy/encephalitis", and the classified management of literatures about allergic purpura and brachial plexus neuritis. Conclusions: The sustainable updated literature data warehouse of vaccine safety can provide high-quality research data for vaccine safety research, including evidence support for immunization related policy-making and adjustment and vaccine safety-related methodological research or clinical tool development; and further demonstration studies can provide references for building a new methodological framework system for timely and efficient completion of the evidence-based assessment of vaccine safety.

Abstract
A proof of concept for using paper test as a suitable method in the production of monoclonal antibodies (MAbs) is reported. The paper test which detects antibodies against porcine circovirus type 2 (PCV2) using colloidal gold-labelled capsid protein as the antigen probe was applied exclusively in the screening of anti-PCV2 MAbs. It allowed the detection of 118 single cell clones within 30 min using naked eyes. MAbs with specific binding to authentic epitopes on the virus were selected using a blocking strategy in which the antibody was pre-incubated with PCV2 viral sample before applying to the test paper. Five hybridomas secreting MAbs against the capsid protein were obtained, with only three of them capable of binding to PCV2. The results were validated and confirmed using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay and immunofluorescence assay. The paper test is simple, rapid, and independent on professional technicians and proves to be an excellent approach for the screening of MAbs against specific targets.

Abstract
Events containing a Z boson and a charm jet are studied for the first time in the forward region of proton-proton collisions. The data sample used corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 6 fb^{-1} collected at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV with the LHCb detector. In events with a Z boson and a jet, the fraction of charm jets is determined in intervals of Z-boson rapidity in the range 2.0<y(Z)<4.5. A sizable enhancement is observed in the forwardmost y(Z) interval, which could be indicative of a valencelike intrinsic-charm component in the proton wave function.

Abstract
An amplitude analysis of flavor-untagged B_{s}^{0}→J/ψpp[over ¯] decays is performed using a sample of 797±31 decays reconstructed with the LHCb detector. The data, collected in proton-proton collisions between 2011 and 2018, correspond to an integrated luminosity of 9 fb^{-1}. Evidence for a new structure in the J/ψp and J/ψp[over ¯] systems with a mass of 4337_{-4}^{+7} _{-2}^{+2} MeV and a width of 29_{-12}^{+26} _{-14}^{+14} MeV is found, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic, with a significance in the range of 3.1 to 3.7σ, depending on the assigned J^{P} hypothesis.

Abstract
Branching fraction and effective lifetime measurements of the rare decay B_{s}^{0}→μ^{+}μ^{-} and searches for the decays B^{0}→μ^{+}μ^{-} and B_{s}^{0}→μ^{+}μ^{-}γ are reported using proton-proton collision data collected with the LHCb detector at center-of-mass energies of 7, 8, and 13 TeV, corresponding to a luminosity of 9 fb^{-1}. The branching fraction B(B_{s}^{0}→μ^{+}μ^{-})=(3.09_{-0.43-0.11}^{+0.46+0.15})×10^{-9} and the effective lifetime τ(B_{s}^{0}→μ^{+}μ^{-})=2.07±0.29±0.03 ps are measured, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic. No significant signal for B^{0}→μ^{+}μ^{-} and B_{s}^{0}→μ^{+}μ^{-}γ decays is found and upper limits B(B^{0}→μ^{+}μ^{-})<2.6×10^{-10} and B(B_{s}^{0}→μ^{+}μ^{-}γ)<2.0×10^{-9} at the 95% C.L. are determined, where the latter is limited to the range m_{μμ}>4.9 GeV/c^{2}. The results are in agreement with the standard model expectations.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE Acute myocardial infarction (AMI) is the main cause of sudden death in the world. The aim of this paper was to explore the role of microRNA-18-5p (miR-18-5p) in myocardial infarction (MI) and its potential mechanism. MATERIALS AND METHODS The expression of miRNA and protein was detected using quantitative reverse-transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) analysis and Western blot. The level of oxidative stress of cardiomyocytes was evaluated by detecting the contents of Superoxide dismutase (SOD), Reactive oxygen species (ROS) and Malondialdehyde (MDA). Caspase-3 activity assay, flow cytometry and TUNEL staining were employed to evaluate apoptosis of myocardium. Dual-Luciferase reporter gene assay was used to prove whether miR-18-5p targeted RUNX1. RESULTS MiR-18-5p was down-regulated in hypoxia-treated H9c2 cells. Hypoxia treatment induced oxidative stress and apoptosis of H9c2 cells. The oxidative stress of H9c2 was manifested by the decrease of SOD activity, the increase of ROS and MDA levels, and the apoptosis of H9c2 was shown by the increase of caspase-3 activity and apoptosis rate. MiR-18-5p mimic was transfected into H9c2 cells and successfully up-regulated miR-18-5p. And overexpression of miR-18-5p markedly inhibited the oxidative stress and apoptosis caused by hypoxia in H9c2 cells. Through bioinformatics analysis and Dual-Luciferase reporter gene assay, RUNX1 was proved to have binding sites for miR-18-5p. Furthermore, knocking down RUNX1 using small interfering RNA-RUNX1 (siR-RUNX1) significantly protected H9c2 cells from oxidative stress and apoptosis. CONCLUSIONS MiR-18-5p expression was decreased in hypoxia-treated H9c2 cells. Overexpression of miR-18-5p alleviated hypoxia-induced oxidative stress and apoptosis in H9c2 cells via targeting RUNX1.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Vulvovaginal candidiasis (VVC) is frequent in women of reproductive age, but very limited data are available on the epidemiology in cases of VVC in China. OBJECTIVES The current study has been conducted to reveal the prevalence, species distribution of yeast causing VVC and molecular genetics of Candida albicans in China. METHODS Vaginal swabs were collected from 543 VVC outpatients recruited in 12 hospitals in China between September 2017 and March 2018. They were preliminarily incubated on Sabouraud dextrose agar and then positive subjects of which were then transmitted to our institute for further identification. CHROMagar™ was used to isolate Candida species, and all isolates were finally identified by DNA sequencing. Multilocus sequence typing (MLST) was used to analyse phylogenetic relationships of the various C. albicans isolates. RESULTS Eleven different yeast species were identified in 543 isolates, among which C. albicans (84.7%) was the most frequent, followed by C. glabrata (8.7%). We obtained 117 unique diploid sequence types from 451 clinical C. albicans isolates and 92 isolates (20.4%) belonged to a New Clade. All the strains appearing in the New Clade were from northern China and they were isolated from non-recurrent VVC. CONCLUSIONS Our findings suggest that C. albicans are still the main cause of VVC in China and the majority of C. albicans isolates belongs to Clade 1 with DST 79 and DST 45 being two most common. Moreover, the New Clade revealed in our study seems to be specific to northern China.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To compare the effectiveness of loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) assay and microscopic examinations for detection of Schistosoma japonicum infections in Oncomelania hupensis in transmission-interrupted regions, so as to provide insights into the optimization of snail surveillance tools in these regions. METHODS Four hilly schistosomiasis-endemic villages where transmission interruption was achieved were selected in Heqing County of Yunnan Province as the study villages, including Xinzhuang and Gule villages in hilly regions and Lianyi and Yitou villages in dam regions. Snail survey was performed by means of systematic sampling combined with environmental sampling in July 2018. All captured snails were identified for S. japonicum infections using microscopy. In addition, 10 to 20 snails were randomly sampled from each snail habitat following microscopy, numbered according to environments and subjected to LAMP assay. The positive rate of settings with S. japonicum-infected snails was compared among villages. RESULTS A total of 7 949 living snails were captured from 83 snail habitats in 4 villages, and no S. japonicum infection was detected in snails. There were 226 mixed samples containing 1 786 snails subjected to LAMP assay, and positive LAMP assay was found in 3 mixed samples from 3 snail habitats in 2 dam villages. The positive rates of settings with S. japonicum-infected snails were comparable between Lianyi Village (one setting) and Yitou Village (2 set tings) (5.89% vs. 14.29%, P = 0.344). However, the overall positive rate of settings with S. japonicum-infected snails was significantly higher in dam villages (9.67%, 3/31) than in hilly villages (0) (P = 0.048). CONCLUSIONS LAMP assay is more sensitive to detect S. japonicum infections in O. hupensis than conventional microcopy method, which may serve as a supplementary method for detection of S. japonicum infections in O. hupensis in high-risk snail habitats in hilly transmission-interrupted regions.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the prevalence of five specific periodontal pathogens in the saliva of edentulous patients and to compare the differences in the saliva of dentulous individuals with various periodontal conditions. Methods: All the subjects were patients who received regular care at the Beijing Hypertension Prevention and Management Institute. Twenty-seven edentulous patients (edentulous group) were included. According to age (age gap≤5 years), gender, smoking status, diabetes status and hypertension status, each edentulous patient was paired with dentulous individuals suffering from various severity of periodontitis in the same cohort. Then, we selected 3 groups of patients (n=27 in each group) with no or mild periodontitis (mild group), moderate periodontitis (moderate group) and severe periodontitis (severe group). The whole unstimulated saliva was collected before the periodontal examination. Questionnaire survey and periodontal parameters, including plaque index (PLI), probing depth (PD), bleeding index (BI) and clinical attachment loss (CAL), were examined at mesial-buccal and distal-lingual sites of each tooth respectively. DNA was extracted from each sample of the salivary deposition. Porphyromonas gingivalis (Pg), Tannerella forsythia (Tf), Treponema denticola (Td), Campylobacter rectus (Cr) and Prevotella nigrescens (Pn) were detected by using PCR method based on 16SrRNA. The prevalence and quantity of the pathogens under various severity of periodontitis were compared. Results: One or more periodontal pathogens could be detected from the 78% (21/27) of the salivary samples in edentulous group. Thereinto, the prevalences of the five periodontal pathogens were ranked as (from high to low): Cr [56% (15/27)], Tf [44% (12/27)], Pn [26% (7/27)], Pg [22% (6/27)] and Td [11% (3/27)]. All five pathogens' prevalences and Pg, Tf, Td and Pn's quantities showed statistical differences among the four groups. The numbers of detected bacterial species in the mild, moderate and severe groups were significantly higher than that in the edentulous group (P<0.01). Furthermore, the prevalences of the red complex in three dentulous groups [96% (26/27) in each group] were significantly higher than the edentulous group [48% (13/27)] (P<0.05). The proportions of the red complex among all five pathogens (83%) in moderate and severe groups were significantly higher than that in the edentulous group (37%) (P<0.01). Conclusions: All five periodontal pathogens could be detected in most of the saliva samples from edentulous individuals. Nevertheless, the prevalence and quantity were lower than dentulous individuals.

Abstract
In addition to offering methionine, 2-hydroxy-4-methylthiobutyric acid (HMTBa) is also an organic acid and shows excellent bacteriostasis. Therefore, 3 experiments were conducted to determine the influence of drinking water supplemented HMTBa in combination with acidifier on performance, intestinal development, and microflora in broilers. The addition of different concentration (0.02–0.20%) of the blend of HMTBa and other acids significantly reduced the pH of water and exerted antimicrobial activity in dose-dependent manner in vitro. The outcomes from animal trial consisting of the drinking water with blended acidifier at 0.00, 0.05, 0.10, 0.15, and 0.20% indicated that the water with 0.15 or 0.20% acidifier resulted in linear and quadratic higher body weight at 42 d, gain and water consumption during 1 to 42 d (P < 0.05). In experiment 3, responding to graded blended acidifier in drinking water, birds receiving 0.10, 0.15, and 0.20% acidifier decreased the internal pH of gastrointestinal tract and muscle, and exhibited increased duodenal weight, length, villus high, and the ratio of villus high to crypt depth. Drinking water with 0.2% blended acidifier increased the abundance of probiotics (Bacteroidaceae, Ruminococcaceae, and Lachnospiraceae) and decreased the account of pathogenic bacteria such as Desulfovibrionaceae. Alternations in gut microflora were closely related to the metabolism of carbohydrate, amino acid, and vitamins. These findings, therefore, suggest that drinking water with 0.10 to 0.13% the combination HMTBa with acidifier might benefit to intestinal development and gut microbiota, and the subsequent produce a positive effect on the performance of broilers.

Abstract
Digital loop-mediated isothermal amplification (digital LAMP, dLAMP) is a novel nucleic acid amplification technique developed in recent years. It divides the target nucleic acid and LAMP reagent into a large number of independent detection regions, and uses a highly active chain replacement DNA polymerase and four specially designed primers for rapid amplification under isothermal conditions, which provides a good platform for quantitative detection of target nucleic acids. The advantages of high accuracy, high sensitivity, absolute quantification, high tolerance to inhibitors and simple instrumentation make the dLAMP technique very promising in molecular diagnosis, especially in rapid detection of pathogenic microorganisms, it shows a good application prospect in the fields of clinical diagnosis, food safety and environmental monitoring. Certainly, the development of dLAMP still faces some challenges, such as how to avoid non-specific amplification in multiple primer designs, multi-target nucleic acids and simultaneous detection of a large number of samples. With the development of dLAMP technology, this technology will greatly enrich the future development of molecular diagnostics. Applying rapid and effective molecular diagnostic techniques to the diagnosis of pathogenic microorganisms has important social significance for disease prevention and control.

Abstract
Objective: To explore the main influencing factors of leucopenia in benzene workers. Methods: The data of 514 benzene hazardous enterprises and 97 non benzene hazardous enterprises in 16 municipal districts of Tianjin from January to December 2019 were collected. A total of 16113 benzene exposed workers and 5817 non benzene exposed workers were included in the study. The occupational health examination data of workers during on-the-job were analyzed, and they were divided into white blood cell count reduction group and white blood cell count normal group. Additive interaction was used to evaluate the effects of workers' general situation, occupational history, enterprise information and benzene exposure on leukocyte count reduction. Results: The age and length of service of workers in the white blood cell count reduction group were higher than those in the white blood cell count normal group (Z=-3.411, -4.539, P<0.01) . The detection rate of white blood cell count reduction in women was higher than that in men (χ(2)=211.631, P<0.01) . The detection rate of white blood cell count reduction in workers in enterprises located in urban areas, classified as manufacturing and small and micro enterprises was higher than that in workers in suburbs, non manufacturing and large and medium-sized enterprises (χ(2)=8.039, 4.232, 37.478, P<0.05) . The additive interaction analysis of the influencing factors of white blood cell count reduction showed that there was additive interaction between gender and benzene exposure, the relative excess risk ratio (RERI) , attribution ratio (AP) and interaction index (S) were 3.789 (95%CI: 2.280-5.299) , 0.571 (95%CI: 0.414-0.726) and 3.045 (95%CI: 1.699-5.459) , respectively. Conclusion: The management of benzene operation in the production environment of small and micro manufacturing enterprises in Tianjin should be strengthened, as well as the personal protective articles and occupational health protection measures for female operators, so as to protect the health of operators and prevent the occurrence of occupational diseases.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE The aim of the study was to investigate the efficacy analysis and hemodynamic changes of hematological system diseases after peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC) chemotherapy. PATIENTS AND METHODS From March 2017 to March 2020, patients with hematological diseases who received chemotherapy in our hospital were selected. The experimental group consisted of 80 patients with PICC, and the control group consisted of 70 patients with routine intravenous injection. The indwelling time, prevalence rate of adverse reactions, hemodynamic indicators before and after chemotherapy and compliance of patients in the two groups were compared. RESULTS The longest time and average time of indwelling catheter in experimental group were significantly higher than those in control group (p<0.05). The total prevalence rate of adverse reactions in experimental group (3.75%) was significantly lower than that in control group (20%) (p<0.05). The compliance of patients with PICC in experimental group was significantly better than that of patients with superficial intravenous injection in control group. There was no significant difference in hemodynamic indicators between experimental group and control group before and after chemotherapy (p>0.05). There was significant difference in high-shear whole blood indicators, low-shear whole blood viscosity and high-shear whole blood viscosity after chemotherapy (p<0.05), while there was no significant difference in changes of other hemodynamic indicators (p>0.05) or in hemorheological indicators between the two groups after chemotherapy (p>0.05). CONCLUSIONS The total prevalence of adverse reactions in hematological diseases by PICC infusion is lower than that by superficial vein infusion, and the catheter has no significant influence on hemodynamic indicators in patients. Therefore, PICC catheter is worthy of application and promotion in hematological diseases.

Abstract
This study aimed to assess the safety and effectiveness of modified endoscopic technique with a single portal from an external carpal tunnel approach for surgical operations in a suprafascial plane superficial to the transverse carpal ligament. Reversible nerve injury risk is threefold greater with a conventional endoscopic method than with open carpal tunnel release (OCTR), and this suprafascial plane endoscopic release (SPER) should circumvent the problem of hardware in the carpal tunnel encountered with the conventional endoscopic method and liable to cause iatrogenic damage to the median nerve. However, the surgical consequences of the new technique have not been studied. To fill this gap, a retrospective therapeutic study was conducted to compare negative outcomes versus open surgery. The Accordion Severity Grading System was used to grade complications from 0 to 3 according to necessity of treatment. Sequela and failure rates were also compared between the SPER and OCTR groups. Eighty-eight cases in 72 patients with idiopathic carpal tunnel syndrome (ICTS) met the inclusion criteria. SPER was performed in 28 hands in 27 patients, and OCTR in 60 hands in 49 patients. The results showed no significant difference in complication, sequela, or failure rates between groups (p > 0.05). Suprafascial plane endoscopic release, has certain advantages over the open method and was validated as a safe and effective method of treating ICTS.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To explore the biological function of long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) MORT in the malignant progression of breast cancer (BCa) and the underlying mechanism, and to provide a novel strategy for clinical treatment. PATIENTS AND METHODS Quantitative Real Time-Polymerase Chain Reaction (qRT-PCR) was conducted to detect differential level of MORT in BCa specimens and cell lines. The correlation between MORT level and pathological indexes of BCa patients was analyzed. After intervening MORT level in SKBR-3 and MCF-7 cells, cell viability, migratory rate and wound closure were examined through Cell Counting Kit-8 (CCK-8), transwell and wound healing assay, respectively. Dual-Luciferase reporter assay and rescue experiments were conducted to uncover the regulatory effect of MORT on its target gene FGF1. In vivo function of MORT in mediating tumor growth of BCa was finally assessed by generating a xenograft model in nude mice. RESULTS MORT was downregulated in BCa tissues and cell lines. Low level of MORT predicted higher rate of distant metastasis in BCa patients. Overexpression of MORT in SKBR-3 cells reduced proliferative and migratory rates, while knockdown of MORT in MCF-7 enhanced them. Moreover, in vivo overexpression of MORT slowed down tumor growth of BCa in nude mice. MORT could negatively regulate its target gene FGF1, which was responsible for the anti-cancer role of MORT in BCa progression. CONCLUSIONS MORT is downregulated in BCa specimens, which suppresses proliferative and migratory potentials of BCa cells by negatively regulating FGF1. MORT can be an effective target for precision treatment of BCa.

Abstract
Abstract
Introduction/Objective
Plerixafor has been increasingly used in conjunction with G-CSF to increase mobilization of CD34+ stem cells in patients undergoing leukapheresis collection for autologous stem cell transplantation. While G- CSF and plerixafor have been shown to increase CD34+ counts, studies examining patients’ ability to meet collection goals for patients with multiple myeloma (MM), diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), Hodgkin lymphoma (HL), and non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) have not been well documented.
Methods/Case Report
All autologous stem cell collection patients between 2017-2021 were retrospectively reviewed and categorized by primary diagnosis. Patients received a mobilization regimen of G-CSF alone, G-CSF and plerixafor, G-CSF and chemotherapy, or G-CSF, plerixafor, and chemotherapy. CD34+ stem cell collection results were recorded. All units of CD34+ stem cells were processed according to protocol and viability was assessed by Trypan blue method on a thawed aliquot 2 weeks after processing.
Results (if a Case Study enter NA)
385 patients (271 MM, 41 DLBCL, 30 HL, and 43 NHL patients; male: 242; female: 143; age range: 16-78) were identified. Binomial logistic regression demonstrated that use of plerixafor with G- CSF was negatively associated with meeting CD34+ goal collection (OR= -1.57, p= 0.003) compared to G-CSF alone. This result was particularly true for MM patients (OR= -1.62, p= 0.014). A pairwise t-test indicated that patients receiving G-CSF and plerixafor had lower CD34+ cell viabilities (t= 2.21, p = 0.028); after Bonferroni correction for multiple comparisons, MM samples also had significantly lower percentage viability than DLBCL (p= 0.003) or HL (p= 0.022) samples.
Conclusion
A higher percentage of patients mobilized on G-CSF alone were able to meet collection goal versus patients who were mobilized on G-CSF and plerixafor. Patients who received G-CSF and plerixafor had significantly lower viability than those who received G-CSF alone. We hypothesize these findings to be due to lower baseline mobilization for patients on G-CSF and plerixafor.

Abstract
Objective: To study the group noise exposure level of typical coal-fired power plants and explore the establishment of risk assessment methods for noise exposed posts. Methods: In April 2020, 295 typical workers in 11 coal-fired power plants were selected as the study subjects. The noise exposure dose of typical posts and the proportion of exposure groups under different exposure doses were analyzed, and the risk assessment based on the dose-response relationship was conducted. Results: The exposure level of typical noise posts in coal-fired power plants was (84.24±4.10) dB (A) , and the over-standard rate was 44.07% (130/295) . The highest noise over-standard rate in main posts were desulfurization inspectors (51.52%) , followed by steam turbine inspectors (47.92%) and belt inspectors (46.32%) . Taking 30 years as an example, the incidence rate of occupational noise deafness of noise-exposed posts in coal-fired power plants was 12.30%. The position with the highest incidence rate was belt inspector (13.21%) , followed by steam turbine inspector (12.97%) , desulfurization inspectors (12.42%) , boiler inspectors (11.59%) and chemical water inspectors (6.89%) . Conclusion: The risk of noise exposure in coal-fired power plants is relatively high. Comprehensive control measures are recommended to effectively reduce the risk of noise deafness.

Abstract
Abstract
Background
Sarcoidosis is a systemic granulomatous disease with cardiac involvement reported in 20–27% of patients [1]. Cardiac sarcoidosis (CS) can lead to atrial or ventricular arrhythmias, various conduction system disorders, heart failure or sudden cardiac death, depending on the location of myocardial involvement [2]. Previous studies have investigated the possible types of CS based on the distribution of myocardial involvement on imaging as well as the role of genetic factors [3,4]. However, there are no studies describing the clinical heterogeneity of CS patients.
Purpose
In order to determine if clinical clusters exist in CS, we carried out a latent class analysis (LCA) to explore potential phenotypes in a large sample of CS patients from the National Inpatient Sample (NIS).
Methods
We identified 848 patients with a diagnosis of CS from the NIS in 2016–2018. A LCA was performed based on comorbidities. Utilizing the Bayesian information criterion and Akaike's information criterion we divided our study population into 3 cohorts. We subsequently applied the LCA model for our study population to fit each patient into one of the 3 cohorts. Finally, we compared the clinical outcomes among the 3 groups.
Results
Following LCA, patients in cohort 3 were strongly associated with a cardiometabolic syndrome profile with the highest prevalence of congestive heart failure (CHF, 95.1%), chronic kidney disease (CKD, 69.7%), diabetes mellitus (68.9%), hyperlipidemia (52.5%) and obesity (45.1%). Patients in cohort 2 had an intermediate prevalence of cardiometabolic syndrome with a universal diagnosis of hypertension (100%) but with the lowest number of CHF (32.5%) patients and none with CKD. Finally, patients in cohort 1 had the least comorbidities in comparison to the other groups but there was a higher prevalence of CHF (71.7%). There was no significant difference in mortality among the 3 groups, but acute respiratory failure was the highest in cohort 3. However, ventricular arrhythmias were more prevalent in cohort 1 patients (Table).
Conclusion
We identified 3 different types of CS based on their clinical phenotype. The clinical outcomes varied among the cohorts with ventricular arrhythmias being the most prevalent in patients with the least cardiometabolic comorbidities.

Abstract
Abstract
Introduction
Hypothyroidism is common with a prevalence of 3.7% in the general population and 3.1% in women of childbearing age (12–49) in the United State of America (USA) according to the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey. Studies have found an increased prevalence of hypertension in patients with hypothyroidism. However, there is a dearth of literature exploring the association between hypothyroidism and hypertensive disorders in pregnancy, especially preeclampsia. Our study aims to fill that void.
Purpose
To examine the association between hypothyroidism and preeclampsia.
Methods
We conducted a retrospective cohort study using the latest available data from the USA National Inpatient Sample (2016). Using the ICD-10 codes, we identified patients admitted with a primary diagnosis of delivery and classified them into two cohorts based on the presence or absence of hypothyroidism. We compared the prevalence of preeclampsia and eclampsia among the patient with and without hypothyroidism. We used propensity score matching for age, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, obesity, anemia, hyperthyroidism, sleep apnea, chronic kidney disease, and smoking and repeated the analysis.
Results
We identified 752,054 patients who were admitted for delivery from January 1, 2016 to December 31, 2016. Of these, 726,769 did not have hypothyroidism and 25,285 had hypothyroidism. In the unmatched cohort, 1,572 patients had preeclampsia (6.2%, p<0.001) in the hypothyroidism group and 32,539 (4.5%, p<0.001) patients had preeclampsia in the non-hypothyroidism group. In the unmatched cohort, there was a significantly higher proportion of obesity (13.8% vs 8.2%, p<0.001) and diabetes (3.3% vs 0.9%, p<0.001) in the hypothyroidism group compared to the non hypothyroidism group. There were 25,282 patients in each group after propensity score matching. In the matched cohort, the prevalence of preeclampsia was still high in the hypothyroidism group compared to the non hypothyroidism group (6.2% vs 4.9, p<0.001). The LOS was longer in the hypothyroidism group compared to the non hypothyroidism group (2.99±2.90 vs 2.75±2.42, p<0.001). There was no statistical difference in the prevalence of eclampsia between the two groups (26 patients vs 30 patients, p=0.688). The difference in outcomes of death, cardiac arrest, acute kidney injury, acute respiratory failure and stroke were not statistically significant between these two groups.
Conclusion
Our study shows that hypothyroidism is associated with an increased prevalence of preeclampsia. The association existed even after propensity score matching for other common risk factors for preeclampsia. Given the retrospective nature of the study, we could not establish causation. Further prospective studies are required to find out if hypothyroidism leads to increased incidence of preeclampsia and if patients from hypothyroidism would benefit from prophylaxis for preeclampsia.

Abstract
Abstract
Background
Prolonged delay in seeking treatment by patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI) remains a significant therapeutic gap. Previous mass-media campaigns or brief educational interventions were largely ineffective in shortening pre-hospital patient delay. The brevity and didactic nature of these interventions are inadequate to address complex decision-making encountered by patients with AMI.
Purpose
This randomized controlled trial examined the effects of a theory-driven modelling-based narrative intervention on AMI knowledge, care-seeking intention as indicated by attitudes and beliefs regarding care-seeking for AMI, prehospital delay time and use of ambulance among AMI survivors.
Methods
A total of 285 of patients with history of at least one AMI were randomized 1:1 to modelling-based narrative intervention (n=144) and control with didactic education (n=141). The modelling-based narrative intervention comprised 4 weekly group-based interactive sessions to engage participants in mental rehearsals of the perceptual-cognitive processes in recognizing and responding to AMI symptoms through a virtual heart attack experience, then followed by a booster session one month later The control group received a 4-weekly education on factual information about AMI with traditional didactic education approach. Study endpoints included AMI knowledge, attitudes and belief about care-seeking for AMI to be measured at baseline, (T0), 3 months (T1), 12 months (T2) and 24 months (T3) after the intervention. Prehospital delay time and use of ambulance for an AMI attack were tracked since patients' enrolment until T3 endpoint of the study.
Results
Generalized estimating equation analysis indicated that the participants in the intervention group had significantly greater improvement in attitudes and beliefs about care seeking for AMI symptoms at all endpoints than those in the control group (Table 1). There were no between-group differences in the change of AMI knowledge score over the baseline and 3- or 12-month endpoints, such difference became significant at 24-month endpoint. A total of 78 participants, including 38 (26.4%) in the intervention group and 40 (28.4%) in the control groups, had experienced AMI symptoms and admitted to an emergency department during the follow-up period. The participants in the intervention group showed significant reduction in prehospital delay time than the control group (p=0.031). There was no between-group difference on use of ambulance (p=0.422) for those participants who had symptom attack during the follow-up period.
Conclusion
This study demonstrated favorable effects in shortening prehospital time delay and promoting positive attitudes and beliefs regarding care-seeking for AMI symptoms among AMI survivors. A virtual heart attack experience helped support them through a cognitive-perceptual processes in recognizing and interpreting AMI symptoms.

Abstract
This retrospective analysis was conducted on clinical obtained DCE-MR images of 198 patients, age from 21 to 79 years(45.5±13.7). The CBAM-ResNet model was developed to perform the classification automatically at the image-level based on deep learning method using the pathological examination as the reference standard, then the classification result of each individual patient was obtained by ensemble learning. The proposed method can have an accuracy of 82.69% for correctly distinguishing between benign and malignant breast tumors at the slice-level based on CBAM-ResNet model and with a sensitivity of 85.67%.. After the voting mechanism is applied, the classification accuracy can reach up to 88.24% at the patient-level with a sensitivity of 87.50%. Our experimental results demonstrated the proposed approach have a high classification accuracy.

Abstract
The branching fraction of the rare B_{s}^{0}→ϕμ^{+}μ^{-} decay is measured using data collected by the LHCb experiment at center-of-mass energies of 7, 8, and 13 TeV, corresponding to integrated luminosities of 1, 2, and 6 fb^{-1}, respectively. The branching fraction is reported in intervals of q^{2}, the square of the dimuon invariant mass. In the q^{2} region between 1.1 and 6.0 GeV^{2}/c^{4}, the measurement is found to lie 3.6 standard deviations below a standard model prediction based on a combination of light cone sum rule and lattice QCD calculations. In addition, the first observation of the rare B_{s}^{0}→f_{2}^{'}(1525)μ^{+}μ^{-} decay is reported with a statistical significance of 9 standard deviations and its branching fraction is determined.

Abstract
In this study, we investigate harnessing fibrocartilage stem cell (FCSC) capacities by regulating tumor necrosis factor α (TNF-α) signaling for cartilage repair in temporomandibular joint osteoarthritis (TMJOA). Stem cell specifics for FCSCs were characterized in the presence of TNF-α. Etanercept as a TNF-α inhibitor and BAY 11-7082 as an Nf-κB inhibitor were used to study TNF-α regulation of FCSCs. Lineage tracing was performed in Gli1-CreERT+;Tmfl/fl mice when etanercept (1 mg/kg, every 3 d) or isometric vehicle was subcutaneously injected to trace specific changes in FCSCs. Surgically induced TMJOA Sprague-Dawley rats were generated with BAY 11-7082 (5 mg/kg, every 3 d) or vehicle subcutaneous injection to investigate the functional role of TNF-α/Nf-κB in TMJOA. Anterior disc displacement (ADD) rabbits were used to analyze the therapeutic effect of etanercept as a TMJOA intra-articular treatment with etanercept (0.02 mg in 100 μL, every 2 wk) or isometric vehicle. In vitro, TNF-α inhibited proliferation of FCSCs and increased FCSC apoptosis. TNF-α activation interfered with osteogenic and chondrogenic differentiation of FCSCs, while etanercept could partially recover FCSC specificity from TNF-α. FCSC lineage tracing in Gli1-CreERT+;Tmfl/fl mice showed that the chondrogenic capacity of Gli1+ cell lineage was markedly suppressed in osteoarthritis cartilage, the phenotype of which could be significantly rescued by etanercept. Specifically blocking the Nf-κB pathway could significantly weaken the regulatory effect of TNF-α on FCSC specificity in vitro and in TMJOA rats in vivo. Finally, intra-articular etanercept treatment efficiently rescued TMJ cartilage degeneration and growth retardation in ADD rabbits. Inhibition of TNF-α signaling reduced Nf-κB transcripts and recovered FCSC specificities. In vivo, etanercept treatment effectively rescued the osteoarthritis phenotype in TMJOA mice and ADD rabbits. These data suggest a novel therapeutic mechanism whereby TNF-α/Nf-κB inhibition promotes FCSC chondrogenic capacity for cartilage transformation in TMJOA.

Observation of the Mass Difference between Neutral Charm-Meson Eigenstates. PHYSICAL REVIEW LETTERS 2021; 127:111801. Abstract
A measurement of mixing and CP violation in neutral charm mesons is performed using data reconstructed in proton-proton collisions collected by the LHCb experiment from 2016 to 2018, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5.4 fb^{-1}. A total of 30.6 million D^{0}→K_{S}^{0}π^{+}π^{-} decays are analyzed using a method optimized for the measurement of the mass difference between neutral charm-meson eigenstates. Allowing for CP violation in mixing and in the interference between mixing and decay, the mass and decay-width differences are measured to be x_{CP}=[3.97±0.46(stat)±0.29(syst)]×10^{-3} and y_{CP}=[4.59±1.20(stat)±0.85(syst)]×10^{-3}, respectively. The CP-violating parameters are measured as Δx=[-0.27±0.18(stat)±0.01(syst)]×10^{-3} and Δy=[0.20±0.36(stat)±0.13(syst)]×10^{-3}. This is the first observation of a nonzero mass difference in the D^{0} meson system, with a significance exceeding seven standard deviations. The data are consistent with CP symmetry and improve existing constraints on the associated parameters.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the epidemiology and clinical characteristics of adenovirus (ADV)-caused acute respiratory tract infection among hospitalized children in Kunming, China. Methods: Clinical and laboratory data were collected from 467 children with adenovirus infection who were hospitalized from January 1, 2019 to December 31, 2019 in 6 grade A class Ⅲ hospitals in Kunming area. The basic characteristics, epidemiology, mixed infection and adenovirus genotypes of the patients were retrospectively analyzed. The patients diagnosed with adenovirus pneumonia (AP) were divided into two groups, severe AP (SAP) group and general AP(GAP) group according to the severity of illness. Mann-Whitney U test or χ2 test was used for comparison between groups, while multivariate regression was applied to analyze the risk factors of SAP. Results: Among 15 635 hospitalized children with respiratory tract infection, 467 cases were adenovirus positive, with a detection rate of 2.99%. Of the 467 patients with adenovirus infection, 284 were male and 183 female, the age was 2.4 (1.1,3.9) years, including 44 cases (9.4%) < 0.5 years, 59 cases (12.6%) of 0.5 to<1.0 years, 176 cases (37.7%) of 1.0 to <3.0 years, 150 cases (32.1%) of 3.0 to <7.0 years, and 38 cases (8.1%) of 7.0 to 14.0 years. Adenovirus infection was common in autumn and winter, and the high incidence months were October to December, which accounted for 51.6% (241/467) of the whole year cases. Co-infection was detected in 226 cases (48.4%) out of 467 patients, in which one pathogen co-infection was the most frequent form (172 cases, 76.1%). Of the 262 pathogen detected 108 (41.2%) were Mycoplasma pneumoniae. In 144 of ADV-positve cases (30.8%) were taken geno-typing was done by PCR amplification, the results showed that 74 cases (51.4%) were ADV 3, 7 subtypes and 65 cases (45.1%) of ADV 1, 2,6 subtypes. Of the 467 cases of ADV infection, 320 (68.5%) were diagnosed with pneumonia, 82 (17.6%) with upper respiratory tract infection and pharyngeal tonsillitis, and 65 (13.9%) with bronchitis, laryngeal bronchitis, and asthmatic bronchitis. Among the 320 patients with AP, 56 cases were severe and 264 cases were general. Two cases (3.6%) in severe group died. Compared with the GAP group, the age was young [17 (11,42) months vs. 24 (14,44) months, Z=2.222, P=0.026], the fever duration was long [8 (5,14) days vs. 6 (3,9) days, Z=3.380, P<0.01], and the proportions of preterm birth and having underlying diseases were high [respectively 19.6% (11/56) vs. 6.1% (16/264), 26.8% (15/56) vs. 10.2% (27/264), χ2=8.965,11.109, P<0.05] in SAP group. Referring to laboratory markers, white blood cell count, C-reactive protein, creatine kinase-MB and lactate dehydrogenase were significantly increased in SAP group as compared to GAP group(all P<0.05). Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that preterm birth (OR=3.284, 95%CI 1.079-9.993, P=0.036), underlying disease (OR=3.284, 95%CI 1.079-9.993, P=0.036), fever duration ≥10 d (OR=2.523,95%CI 1.195-5.328, P=0.015) and C-reactive protein ≥50 mg/L (OR=3.156, 95%CI 1.324-7.524, P=0.010) were positively correlated with the risk of SAP. Conclusions: The incidence of adenovirus infection among hospitalized children in Kunming was lower than the national level, and no outbreak occurred in 2019. Subtype 3 and 7 of ADV are the predominant strains for infection, which usually occurs in autumn and winter and mainly causes pneumonia. Premature birth, underlining diseases, long fever duration and markedly increased C-reactive protein are the risk factors for developing into severe pneumonia. This paper presents the prevalence and clinical characteristics of adenovirus infection in children at high altitude area.
