Abstract
BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE After endovascular coiling of intracranial aneurysms, round dark parenchymal lesions believed to be particulate metal are sometimes encountered in MR imaging studies of the brain. We used SWI to assess the frequency of such occurrences, in addition to exploring likely causes and clinical implications. MATERIALS AND METHODS We reviewed 700 MR imaging studies performed between September 2018 and March 2019 at our institution as follow-up monitoring of coiled intracranial aneurysms. Any sizeable (>5 mm) rounded dark-signal lesions encountered were presumed to be metallic. The magnitudes and locations of such lesions were recorded. In patients with these lesions, pertinent procedural documentation was screened for devices used, including coils, microcatheters, microguidewires, and stents. Medical records were also examined to determine whether any related symptoms ensued. RESULTS Twenty patients (2.8%) exhibited a total of 25 lesions on SWI. Diameters ranged from 5 to 11 mm (median, 8 mm). All except 2 lesions were located in brain regions downstream from aneurysms, but all lesions occupied vascular territories of vessels used to place guiding catheters. Other than the Synchro 14, which was routinely deployed, no device was regularly used in patients with SWI-detectable lesions; and none of the affected patients developed focal neurologic symptoms as a consequence. CONCLUSIONS Although the origins remain unclear, distal embolization of particulate metal distal to coiled cerebral aneurysms is occasionally observed on follow-up MR imaging studies. Such lesions, however, seem to have no apparent clinical impact.

Abstract
We report the first observation of the radiative decay of the ϒ(1S) into a charmonium state. The significance of the observed signal of ϒ(1S)→γχ_{c1} is 6.3 standard deviations including systematics. The branching fraction is calculated to be B[ϒ(1S)→γχ_{c1}]=[4.7_{-1.8}^{+2.4}(stat)_{-0.5}^{+0.4}(sys)×10^{-5}]. We also searched for ϒ(1S) radiative decays into χ_{c0,2} and η_{c}(1S,2S), and set upper limits on their branching fractions. These results are obtained from a 24.9 fb^{-1} data sample collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e^{+}e^{-} collider at a center-of-mass energy equal to the ϒ(2S) mass using ϒ(1S) tagging by the ϒ(2S)→ϒ(1S)π^{+}π^{-} transitions.

Background/Introduction
Previous studies have focused on only 1 or 2 echocardiographic parameters as prognostic marker in patients with acute ischemic stroke (AIS).
Purpose
Various echocardiographic parameters in the same patient were systemically evaluated for their prognostic significance in AIS.
Methods
A total of 900 patients with AIS who underwent transthoracic echocardiography (TTE) (72.6 ± 12.0 years and 60% male) were retrospectively reviewed. Composite events including all-cause mortality, non-fatal stroke, non-fatal myocardial infarction, and coronary revascularization were assessed during clinical follow-up.
Results
During a median follow-up of 3.3 years (interquartile range, 0.6-5.1 years), there were 151 (16.8%) composite events. Univariable analyses showed that low left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) (< 60%), increased peak tricuspid regurgitation (TR) velocity (> 2.8 m/s) and aortic valve (AV) sclerosis were associated with composite events (P < 0.05 for each). In the multivariable analyses after controlling for potential confounders, LVEF < 60% (hazard ratio [HR], 1.90; 95% confidence interval [CI], 1.30-2.77; P = 0.001) and AV sclerosis (HR, 1.56; 95% CI, 1.10-2.21; P = 0.013) were independent prognostic factors associated with composite events. Multivariable analysis showed that HR for composite events gradually increased according to LVEF and AV sclerosis: HR was 2.8-fold higher in the highest-risk group than in the lowest group (P = 0.001).
Conclusions
In patients with AIS, LVEF < 60% and the presence of AV sclerosis predicts the future vascular events. Patients with AIS exhibiting reduced LVEF and AV sclerosis may benefit from aggressive secondary prevention

Abstract
BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE Attempts have been made to quantify the microvascular leakiness of glioblastomas and use it as an imaging biomarker to predict the prognosis of the tumor. The purpose of our study was to evaluate whether the extraction fraction value from DSC-MR imaging within nonenhancing FLAIR hyperintense lesions was a better prognostic imaging biomarker than dynamic contrast-enhanced MR imaging parameters for patients with glioblastoma. MATERIALS AND METHODS A total of 102 patients with glioblastoma who received a preoperative dynamic contrast-enhanced MR imaging and DSC-MR imaging were included in this retrospective study. Patients were classified into the progression (n = 87) or nonprogression (n = 15) groups at 24 months after surgery. We extracted the means and 95th percentile values for the contrast leakage information parameters from both modalities within the nonenhancing FLAIR high-signal-intensity lesions. RESULTS The extraction fraction 95th percentile value was higher in the progression-free survival group of >24 months than at ≤24 months. The median progression-free survival of the group with an extraction fraction 95th percentile value of >13.32 was 17 months, whereas that of the group of ≤13.32 was 12 months. In addition, it was an independent predictor variable for progression-free survival in the patients regardless of their ages and genetic information. CONCLUSIONS The extraction fraction 95th percentile value was the only independent parameter for prognostic prediction in patients with glioblastoma among the contrast leakage information, which has no statistically significant correlations with the DCE-MR imaging parameters.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE This study aims to explore whether homeobox A11 antisense RNA (HOXA11-AS) could regulate inflammation induced by diabetic arteriosclerosis (DAA) via PI3K/AKT pathway. PATIENTS AND METHODS Quantitative Real Time-Polymerase Chain Reaction (qRT-PCR) was used to detect expressions of HOXA11-AS and proinflammatory genes in carotid endarterectomy samples of symptomatic and asymptomatic atherosclerosis (AS) patients, diabetes mellitus (DM), and non-DM patients. The above-mentioned genes in DM animal model and non-DM animal model were also detected. We detected the expression of HOXA11-AS in vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs) treated with platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF) or PDGF inhibitor imatinib, respectively. Subsequently, we applied cell transfection technology to interfere with the expression of HOXA11-AS in VSMCs. In vascular endothelial cells (VECs) and VSMCs, we detected the effect of HOXA11-AS on the expressions of genes related to the proliferation, migration, and cell cycle. Then, VSMCs were treated with tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), and the expression of HOXA11-AS was examined in VSMCs. The effect of HOXA11-AS on TNF-α-induced inflammation in VSMCs was detected as well. Finally, we analyzed the effect of HOXA11-AS on PDGF-induced activation of PI3K/AKT pathway in VSMCs and VECs. RESULTS HOXA11-AS expression was markedly increased in carotid endarterectomy specimens of symptomatic AS patients compared to that of asymptomatic AS patients. Expression levels of HOXA11-AS and pro-inflammatory genes were significantly elevated in carotid endarterectomy specimens of DM patients. Similarly, HOXA11-AS expression was also significantly increased in carotid arteries of DM mice compared with that of non-DM mice. PDGF could upregulate HOXA11-AS expression in VSMCs, which was reversed by PDGF inhibitor imatinib. HOXA11-AS knockdown could reduce the expressions of the proliferation-associated gene (PCNA) and the cycle-related genes (p21, p53), and also inhibited the proliferation and migration of VSMCs induced by PDGF. HOXA11-AS was upregulated by TNF-α. HOXA11-AS knockdown remarkably downregulated expressions of inflammation-related genes in VSMCs induced by TNF-α. In VECs, low expression of HOXA11-AS can inhibit the expression of TNF-α-induced pro-inflammatory genes and PDGF-induced vascular inflammation-related genes. Low expression of HOXA11-AS inhibited PDGF-induced activation of PI3K/AKT pathway in VSMCs and VECs. CONCLUSIONS HOXA11-AS may participate in DAA by activating the PI3K/AKT pathway to regulate inflammation in VSMCs and VECs.

Abstract
Reactive oxygen species (ROS) promote the development and progression of cancer by their effects on several signaling pathways. Lycopene, a major carotenoid natural product, is known to display antioxidant activity and to induce apoptosis of cancer cells. The aim of the present study was to investigate the mechanism by which lycopene induces apoptosis of the human gastric cancer AGS cells. In the present study, we showed that lycopene reduces the viability of AGS cells by inducing DNA fragmentation and increasing the Bax/Bcl-2 ratio. To determine the mechanistic basis for these effects, studies were conducted to assess the effects of this carotenoid on activation and nuclear translocation of β-catenin, and the expression of β-catenin target genes in AGS cells. The results showed that lycopene reduces the levels of ROS. It also inhibits activation of β-catenin signaling by changing the Wnt/β-catenin multi-protein complex such as a reduction in phosphorylation of glycogen synthase kinase 3β [GSK3β] and an increase in adenomatous polyposis coli [APC] and β-transducin repeats-containing proteins [β-TrCP]). It suppresses nuclear translocation of β-catenin and the expression of the β-catenin target survival genes c-myc and cyclin D1. Lycopene induces apoptosis by reducing ROS levels and suppressing β-catenin-c-myc/cyclin D1 axis. Thus, lycopene induces apoptosis of gastric cancer cells by disrupting nuclear translocation of β-catenin and expression of key cell survival genes.

Background/Introduction
Physical activity has been shown to reduce mortality in a dose-response fashion. Current guidelines recommend 500 to 1,000 MET-min per week of regular physical activity. However, evidence is limited regarding the specific dose-response relationship in patients with cardiovascular disease.
Purpose
Our aim was to compare the impact of physical activity on mortality in primary versus secondary cardiovascular prevention.
Methods
We analyzed 441,798 individuals with complete information on physical activity levels between 2009 and 2015 were extracted from a population-based cohort (National Health Insurance Service-National Health Screening cohort). Physical activity measured by self-report questionnaires. A rating of 2.9, 4.0, and 7.0 METs were assigned for light-intensity, moderate-intensity, and vigorous-intensity activities, respectively. Physical activity-related energy expenditure (MET-min/week) was calculated by summing the product of frequency, intensity, and duration. The level of physical activity was classified into 0, 0 to 499, 500 to 999, 1,000 to 1,499, and ≥1,500 MET-min/week. Study participants were stratified by the presence of cardiovascular disease, defined as prior myocardial infarction, ischemic heart disease, prior stroke, and/or chronic heart failure. The main study outcome was all-cause mortality. The median follow-up duration was 5.9 years.
Results
Individuals with cardiovascular disease had lower physical activity levels and a higher risk of mortality than those without cardiovascular disease. There was an inverse relationship between the physical activity level and the mortality risk in both groups. The benefit in the secondary prevention group was shown to be greater than that in the primary prevention group: every 500 MET-min/week increase in physical activity resulted in a 14% and 7% risk reduction in mortality in the secondary and primary prevention groups, respectively (interaction P<0.001). In addition, while individuals without cardiovascular disease benefited the most between 0 and 500 MET-min/week of physical activity, the benefit in those with cardiovascular disease continued above 500 to 1,000 MET-min/week. The adjusted mortality risk of individuals with cardiovascular disease who performed a high level of physical activity (≥1,000 MET-min/week) was shown to be comparable to or lower than that of their counterparts without cardiovascular disease.

Conclusion
Individuals with cardiovascular disease may benefit from physical activity to a greater extent than do healthy subjects without cardiovascular disease. Clinicians should encourage patients with cardiovascular disease to maintain a physically active lifestyle as much as possible.

Abstract
Acellular human dermal allografts have been shown to be effective for soft-tissue implantation. We compared treatment outcomes of tympanoplasty using tragal perichondrium and acellular human dermal allograft (MegaDerm®). In a prospective randomised controlled study, 60 patients scheduled to undergo tympanoplasty were randomly assigned to the autologous tragal perichondrium group (n = 33) or acellular human dermal allograft group (n = 27). Postoperative hearing gain, graft success rate at 1 and 6 months and operation times were compared between groups. Graft success rate, defined as the complete closure of tympanic membrane perforation, did not show any significant intergroup difference (75.8% vs 85.2%, p = 0.519). Air conduction thresholds and air-bone gaps showed significant improvements in both groups; from 38.7 ± 15.9 dB to 30.2 ± 15.6 dB (p < 0.001) and from 17.8 ± 7.3 dB to 11.5 ± 7.0 (p = 0.001) in the autologous tragal perichondrium group, and from 30.4 ± 12.2 dB to 24.5 ± 13.0 dB (p = 0.006) and from 14.3 ± 5.1 dB to 7.6 ± 4.6 dB (p < 0.001) in the acellular human dermal allograft group. The amount of hearing gain (p = 0.31) and closure of air-bone gap (p = 0.863) were not meaningfully different between groups. The mean operation time was significantly lower in the acellular human dermal allograft group (35.2 min vs 27.4 min, p = 0.039). In this prospective randomised controlled study, acellular human dermal allograft was shown to be an effective alternative to tragal perichondrium, with similar graft success rates and postoperative hearing results, but with reduced operation times.

Abstract
This study was conducted to establish the optimal application conditions of barley straw biochar (BC) for rice cultivation and to determine the effects of combined application of BC and inorganic fertilizer (IF) on rice cultivation in a paddy field. Based on the characteristics of rice growth in pot-based experiments, the selected optimal application conditions of BC were application of 20 ton ha-1 at 14 days before rice transplanting. The effects of BC application on rice cultivation in a paddy field when using those conditions were then evaluated. Each treatment was separated by a control (Cn), IF, BC, and combined BC + IF treatments, respectively. The rice yields in the BC + IF treatment were 38.6, 21.7, and 24.5% greater than those in the Cn, IF, and BC treatments, respectively. In addition, yield components of rice were significantly improved in the BC + IF treatment relative to the other treatments. Following rice harvest, soil status was improved, showing greater soil aggregation stability, decreased bulk density, and increased porosity in the BC-treated areas compared to those in the Cn- and IF-treated areas. At the time of rice harvesting, soil chemical properties such as pH, EC, SOC, TN, Avail. P2O5, and CEC in the BC-treated areas were improved over those in other areas. The results of this study indicate that using BC as a soil amendment is effective at improving rice cultivation and can benefit the soil environment.

Abstract
The PHENIX collaboration presents first measurements of low-momentum (0.4<p_{T}<3 GeV/c) direct-photon yields from Au+Au collisions at sqrt[s_{NN}]=39 and 62.4 GeV. For both beam energies the direct-photon yields are substantially enhanced with respect to expectations from prompt processes, similar to the yields observed in Au+Au collisions at sqrt[s_{NN}]=200. Analyzing the photon yield as a function of the experimental observable dN_{ch}/dη reveals that the low-momentum (>1 GeV/c) direct-photon yield dN_{γ}^{dir}/dη is a smooth function of dN_{ch}/dη and can be well described as proportional to (dN_{ch}/dη)^{α} with α≈1.25. This scaling behavior holds for a wide range of beam energies at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider and the Large Hadron Collider, for centrality selected samples, as well as for different A+A collision systems. At a given beam energy, the scaling also holds for high p_{T} (>5 GeV/c), but when results from different collision energies are compared, an additional sqrt[s_{NN}]-dependent multiplicative factor is needed to describe the integrated-direct-photon yield.

Abstract
PURPOSE The impact of evodiamine in combination with histone deacetylase (HDAC) inhibitors on survival of thyroid carcinoma cells was identified. METHODS TPC-1 and SW1736 human thyroid carcinoma cells were used. RESULTS After treatment with evodiamine and PXD101, cell viability, the percentage of viable cells and Bcl2 protein levels decreased, whereas cytotoxic activity, the percentage of apoptotic cells, the protein levels of γH2AX, acetyl. histone H3 and cleaved PARP, and reactive oxygen species (ROS) production increased. In cells treated with both evodiamine and PXD101, compared with PXD101 alone, decrement of cell viability, the percentage of viable cells, and Bcl2 protein levels as well as increment of cytotoxic activity, the percentage of apoptotic cells, the protein levels of γH2AX and cleaved PARP, and ROS production were significant, causing decrement of Bcl2/Bax ratio. Furthermore, all of the combination index values were <1.0, suggesting synergistic cytotoxicity of two agents. Wortmannin decreased cell viability and the percentage of viable cells, whereas it increased cytotoxic activity and the percentage of apoptotic cells without alteration in ROS production. The changes in cells treated with both evodiamine and suberoylanilide hydroxamic acid or trichostatin A were similar to those in cells treated with both evodiamine and PXD101. CONCLUSIONS Our results demonstrate that evodiamine synergizes with HDAC inhibitors in inducing cytotoxic activities by involving survival-related proteins and ROS in thyroid carcinoma cells. Moreover, repression of PI3K/Akt signaling synergistically reinforces cytotoxicity of evodiamine combined with HDAC inhibitors in thyroid carcinoma cells.

Abstract
Salvage therapy for recurrent high grade gliomas (HGG) includes surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy, however, standard treatment does not exist. We evaluated the tolerability and efficacy of re-irradiation (re-RT) with hyperthermia (HT) for patients with recurrent HGG. From September 2010 to July 2015, 20 patients with recurrent HGG were treated with re-RT and HT. The radiotherapy dose of 30 Gray (Gy) was delivered with 2 Gy per fraction daily, and HT was performed twice weekly. Primary endpoints were treatment compliance and toxicity. Second endpoints were overall survival (OS) and progression free survival (PFS). The median interval between initial RT and re-RT was 11 months. During re-RT with HT, there were no significant acute morbidities over grade 3. Median overall survival (OS) from re-irradiation was 8.4 months and the 6 and 12 months survival rate were 67% and 30%, respectively. The median progression free survival (PFS) from re-irradiation was 4.1 month. Our findings suggested that concurrent re-RT with HT was a safe and well-tolerated. In addition, the combination re-RT and HT could be a valuable salvage treatment option for selected recurrent HGG patients with poor performance status.

Abstract
We present the first measurements of absolute branching fractions of Ξ_{c}^{0} decays into Ξ^{-}π^{+}, ΛK^{-}π^{+}, and pK^{-}K^{-}π^{+} final states. The measurements are made using a dataset comprising (772±11)×10^{6} BB[over ¯] pairs collected at the ϒ(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB e^{+}e^{-} collider. We first measure the absolute branching fraction for B^{-}→Λ[over ¯]_{c}^{-}Ξ_{c}^{0} using a missing-mass technique; the result is B(B^{-}→Λ[over ¯]_{c}^{-}Ξ_{c}^{0})=(9.51±2.10±0.88)×10^{-4}. We subsequently measure the product branching fractions B(B^{-}→Λ[over ¯]_{c}^{-}Ξ_{c}^{0})B(Ξ_{c}^{0}→Ξ^{-}π^{+}), B(B^{-}→Λ[over ¯]_{c}^{-}Ξ_{c}^{0})B(Ξ_{c}^{0}→ΛK^{-}π^{+}), and B(B^{-}→Λ[over ¯]_{c}^{-}Ξ_{c}^{0})B(Ξ_{c}^{0}→pK^{-}K^{-}π^{+}) with improved precision. Dividing these product branching fractions by the result for B^{-}→Λ[over ¯]_{c}^{-}Ξ_{c}^{0} yields the following branching fractions: B(Ξ_{c}^{0}→Ξ^{-}π^{+})=(1.80±0.50±0.14)%, B(Ξ_{c}^{0}→ΛK^{-}π^{+})=(1.17±0.37±0.09)%, and B(Ξ_{c}^{0}→pK^{-}K^{-}π^{+})=(0.58±0.23±0.05)%. For the above branching fractions, the first uncertainties are statistical and the second are systematic. Our result for B(Ξ_{c}^{0}→Ξ^{-}π^{+}) can be combined with Ξ_{c}^{0} branching fractions measured relative to Ξ_{c}^{0}→Ξ^{-}π^{+} to yield other absolute Ξ_{c}^{0} branching fractions.

Abstract
We report the first observation of the double strange baryon Ξ(1620)^{0} in its decay to Ξ^{-}π^{+} via Ξ_{c}^{+}→Ξ^{-}π^{+}π^{+} decays based on a 980 fb^{-1} data sample collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e^{+}e^{-} collider. The mass and width are measured to be 1610.4±6.0(stat)_{-4.2}^{+6.1} (syst) MeV/c^{2} and 59.9±4.8(stat)_{-7.1}^{+2.8}(syst) MeV, respectively. We obtain 4.0σ evidence of the Ξ(1690)^{0} with the same data sample. These results shed light on the structure of hyperon resonances with strangeness S=-2.

Abstract
Introduction: Multifocal breast cancers are common, and tend to show more aggressive clinical features than unifocal breast cancers. While each foci of multifocal breast cancers with similar histology shares the same hormone and ERBB2 receptor status in most cases, substantial genomic differences among lesions have been reported. We aimed to investigate the potential genomic differences between multifocal breast cancer lesions.
Materials and methods: Twenty-one patients with multifocal breast cancer documented in the resection specimen were included. We selected two lesions with the same histology from each of these 21 patients. Capture-based targeted next generation sequencing was performed using a cancer gene panel consisting of 170 genes for single nucleotide variants (SNV) and small insertions/deletions (Indel), and copy number alterations.
Results: The most frequent mutation was TP53 (38.1%), followed by PIK3CA (28.6%). Pathogenic mutations (SNV and Indel) were detected in 13 of 21 patients, of whom 11 shared oncogenic variants in the two lesions. The remaining two patients had different mutation results in TP53 and PIK3CA, respectively. Genomic heterogeneity of copy number alteration was observed in 6 (28.6%) of 21 patients, including difference of FGFR1 status in two patients and difference of FGFR2 status in one patient.
Conclusion: Despite similar histologic features of multifocal tumors, genomic inter-lesion heterogeneity was identified in about one-fourth of patients. The spatial genomic heterogeneity in multifocal breast cancers needs to be considered in representative sampling and molecular tests for personalized medicine.

Abstract
Background: APOBEC3B is a cytosine deaminase implicated in host immune defense to virus and mutagenesis in cancer. Germline APOBEC3B deletion is known as risk factors for breast cancer with hypermutation and immune activation from previous database-based studies. This study was aimed to evaluate the incidence of germline APOBEC3B deletion in Korean patients with operable breast cancer.
Method: The copy number variants of germline APOBEC3B deletion was analyzed from leukocyte DNA of 103 breast cancer patients whose bloods were collected in 2009 for pharmacogenomic study at Seoul National University Bundang Hospital. Hybrid-capture based next-generation sequencing panel targeting 53 hereditary cancer genes were used. We also measured tumor infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) and programmed cell death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) expression in tumor or immune cell with a rabbit monoclonal antibody (E1L3N).
Results: Median age of breast cancer diagnosis was 46 (25-72). In APOBEC3B deletion analysis, 10 (9.7%), 36 (35.0%), and 57 (55.3%) patients were identified as two-copy deletion (A3Bdel/del), one-one copy deletion (A3Bdel/wt) and no deletion (A3Bwt/wt), respectively. In non-APOBEC3B analysis, 9 (8.7%) patients were identified as pathogenic variant: RAD51D(n=1), GJB2(n=1), BRCA1(n=1), BRCA2 (n=2), ATM(n=1), USH2A(n=1), RET(n=1), BARD1(n=1). We observed no significant association between germline APOBEC3B deletion with any clinicopathologic features of breast cancer such as age, family history of cancer, and bilateral breast cancer. Triple-negative subtype was associated with A3Bwt/wt Tumors (35.1% in A3Bwt/wt vs. 5.6% in A3Bdel/wt vs20% in A3Bdel/del; P=0.018). After a median follow-up time of 92.8 months, APOBEC3B deletion was not predictive of recurrence or survival. In patients with sufficient tumor samples for the assessment of TIL (n=63) and PD-1 (n=71), A3Bdel/del tumor was associated with higher TILs (>10%) than other tumor types (6/7 patients in A3Bdel/del vs. 13/24 in A3Bdel/wt vs. 15/32 in A3Bwt/wt: Fisher's exact test in A3Bdel/del, P=0.029). However, PD-L1 expression was not associated with APOBEC3B deletion status (1/7 patients >1% PD-L1 in A3Bdel/del vs. 4/26 in A3Bdel/wt vs. 8/38 in A3Bwt/wt: P=0.901).

Conclusion: We identified germline APOBEC3B deletion in 9.7% of Korean patients with operable breast cancer. The relationship between A3Bdel/del tumor and high TILs suggests that these tumors might be potential candidates for future immunotherapy.

Abstract
Introduction : A phase II, multicenter, randomized clinical trial of the comparison between eribulin plus gemcitabine (EG) and paclitaxel plus gemcitabine (PG) as first-line chemotherapy for patients with human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2)-negative metastatic breast cancer (MBC) found EG was less neurotoxic, but had similar efficacy of PG. In this study, we performed exploratory biomarker analysis of the impact of genetic alterations on the efficacy according to EG and PG chemotherapy.
Methods : This biomarker study was conducted using tumor samples from 40patients. When tissue collection was possible after disease progression, we performed paired sample analysis. Tumor DNA and RNA were extracted from formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissues. To perform targeted deep sequencing, we used CancerScanTM, a 375 cancer gene panel. And we performed an nCounter expression assay for gene expression analysis using 730 PanCancer panel and 730 Immune panel.
Results: In total, we obtained 44 tissue samples from 40 patients. Twenty two patients were assigned in EG arm and 18 patients were in PG arm. Thirty-eight were at baseline and six after disease progression. Gene expression assay were performed in 44 tissue samples but only 31 samples were possible to be targeted deep sequencing.
We performed differently expressed gene(DEG) analysis for detecting the association between level of gene expression and disease progression. In this analysis, high expression of CCNE1, TGFB4 and BAMBI and low expression of DDB2, CD14 and SHC3 were associated with disease progression among 730 PanCancer panel genes (p<0.05, respectively). In terms of immune panel genes, most of immune related genes were highly expressed in a group without disease progression compared with that with disease progression. Only 2 genes, C8G and CD24 were highly expressed in a group with disease progression. Paired sample analysis showed that expression levels of THBS4 and CD27 decreased after disease progression while those of CCNE2 and FGFR4 increased.
In targeted deep sequencing, FAT3 (42.3%) was most frequently mutated gene followed by PKHD1, PIK3CA and TP53. Among mutated genes, EWSR1 mutation and upstream mutation of ETV1 were associated with disease progression, respectively (p<0.05, respectively). In mutation signature analysis, signature 1 (S, age related), S3(homologous recombination deficiency, HRD), S6 (mismatch repair, MMR), S20(MMR) and S21(microsatellite instability, MSI) were enriched in this population. Mutation signature 3 related to short disease free survival (p=0.0026).
Conclusion: In gene expression analysis, high expression of TGF-B signaling pathway related genes was associated with disease progression while high expression of immune related genes were related to prolonged disease free survival. In mutation analysis, EWSR1 and ETV1 mutations indicated short disease free interval and HRD mutation signature was also related to poor prognosis.

Abstract
We report the first observation of the spontaneous polarization of Λ and Λ[over ¯] hyperons transverse to the production plane in e^{+}e^{-} annihilation, which is attributed to the effect arising from a polarizing fragmentation function. For inclusive Λ/Λ[over ¯] production, we also report results with subtracted feed-down contributions from Σ^{0} and charm. This measurement uses a dataset of 800.4 fb^{-1} collected by the Belle experiment at or near a center-of-mass energy of 10.58 GeV. We observe a significant polarization that rises with the fractional energy carried by the Λ/Λ[over ¯] hyperon.

Abstract
This study was conducted to determine whether lignocaine or remifentanil effectively attenuate the response to endotracheal intubation during rapid sequence induction. Forty-eight patients were randomly divided into three groups: Group NS (n=16) received normal saline 0.1 ml/kg, Group L (n=16) received lignocaine 1.5 mg/kg, and Group R (n=16) received remifentanil 1 /μg/kg. Anaesthesia was induced with propofol 2 mg/kg after glycopyrrolate 0.2 mg IV. Each study drug was given intravenously over 30 seconds after loss of consciousness. Cricoid pressure was applied until intubation. Succinylcholine 1.0 mg/kg was administered to facilitate tracheal intubation. After intubation, the patient's lungs were ventilated with sevoflurane 1% and nitrous oxide 50% in oxygen. Mean arterial pressure and heart rate were recorded before induction, at loss of consciousness, immediately before laryngoscopy and every minute after intubation for 10 minutes. Mean arterial pressure fell following propofol in all groups. The maximum increase in mean arterial pressure in Group NS and Group L were 46% and 38% respectively above the baseline value one minute after intubation, whereas the mean arterial pressure in Group R increased only back to the baseline value. Heart rate in Group NS and Group L were increased by 27% and 33% above baseline value respectively one minute after intubation, while that in Group R was increased only to the baseline value. The results indicate that remifentanil 1 μg/kg, but not lignocaine 1.5 mg/kg, effectively attenuates the haemodynamic response to endotracheal intubation during rapid sequence induction using propofol.

Abstract
We report on the first Belle search for a light CP-odd Higgs boson, A^{0}, that decays into low mass dark matter, χ, in final states with a single photon and missing energy. We search for events produced via the dipion transition ϒ(2S)→ϒ(1S)π^{+}π^{-}, followed by the on-shell process ϒ(1S)→γA^{0} with A^{0}→χχ, or by the off-shell process ϒ(1S)→γχχ. Utilizing a data sample of 157.3×10^{6} ϒ(2S) decays, we find no evidence for a signal. We set limits on the branching fractions of such processes in the mass ranges M_{A^{0}}<8.97 GeV/c^{2} and M_{χ}<4.44 GeV/c^{2}. We then use the limits on the off-shell process to set competitive limits on WIMP-nucleon scattering in the WIMP mass range below 5 GeV/c^{2}.

Abstract
BACKGROUND The usage of robotic surgery in rectal cancer is increasing, but there is an ongoing debate as to whether it provides any benefit. The aim of the present study was to determine if robotic surgery results in less conversion to an open operation than laparoscopic rectal cancer surgery. METHODS A meta-analysis was performed according to Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analyses (PRISMA) guidelines using Ovid Medline, PubMed, Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials, Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews, ACP Journal Club and Database of Abstracts of Review of Effectiveness. Included were randomized controlled trials (RCTs) and propensity-score-matched (PSM) studies comparing a robotic vs. laparoscopic approach to rectal cancer surgery. The primary endpoint was conversion to open. All statistical analyses and data synthesis were conducted using STATA/IC version 14·2, Windows 64 bit (StataCorp LP, College Station, TX, USA) RESULTS: Six hundred and twenty-one studies were identified through electronic database search. After application of selection criteria as per PRISMA and MOOSE criteria, six RCTs and five PSM articles were analyzed. From the six RCTs, 512 robotic and 519 laparoscopic cases were evaluated. There was a significantly lower rate of conversion for the robotic surgery arm (4.1% vs. 8.1%, OR 0.28; 95% CI 0.00-0.57). Of the five PSM studies, 2097 robotic and 3053 laparoscopic cases were evaluated. There was a significantly lower conversion to open rate found in the robotic surgery cohort (7.4% vs. 15.6%; OR 0.39; 95% CI 0.30-0.47). Pooled RCT and PSM data demonstrated significantly lower conversion rates for robotic surgery (6.7% vs. 14.5%; OR 0.38; 95% CI 0.30-0.46). CONCLUSIONS Robotic surgery for rectal cancer is associated with reduced conversion to open surgery compared to a laparoscopic approach.

Abstract
Background The incidence of adrenal incidentaloma has been increasing proportional to the use of radiologic examination. Multiple endocrine neoplasia1 (MEN1) syndrome may present with various tumors. The present study reports a case of adrenal incidentaloma with unrecognised MEN1 syndrome associated with breast cancer. Clinical case A 48-year-old woman presented with a 2.4cm left adrenal incidentaloma on abdominal computed tomography. Her history revealed primary amenorrhea, recurrent peptic ulcer and nephrolithiasis. Laboratory and radiologic examination revealed two pancreatic tail mass lesions with markedly elevated gastrin levels (1462 pg/mL), hypercalcemia with increased parathyroid hormone levels (72 pg/mL), a 1.5cm pituitary mass with hyperprolactinemia (234 ng/mL), a 1.0cm meningioma and a nonfunctional left adrenal mass. During this image work up, a 0.6cm nodule in the right breast was incidentally detected. Surgeries (laparoscopic distal pancreatectomy, parathyroidectomy and wide local excision of breast) and pathologic findings confirmed pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors, parathyroid gland hyperplasia, and breast cancer. Carbergoline treatment for 12 months decreased prolactin levels to 27 ng/mL. Genetic testing using peripheral blood revealed a pathogenic variant in MEN1 on chr11q13 (NM_000244.3:c.1365+1_1365+11 del, GTGAGGGACAG, heterozygous). Conclusion Considering the increasing incidence of adrenal incidentaloma and 20% prevalence of adrenal tumors in patients with MEN1, it is important to rule out MEN1 association in patients with adrenal incidentaloma. Additionally, breast cancer was detected during MEN1 work-up in this case. Female patients with MEN1 are at increased risk for breast cancer. Therefore, intensified breast cancer screening at a relatively young age should be considered in female MEN1 patients.

Abstract
We present first evidence that the cosine of the CP-violating weak phase 2β is positive, and hence exclude trigonometric multifold solutions of the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa (CKM) Unitarity Triangle using a time-dependent Dalitz plot analysis of B^{0}→D^{(*)}h^{0} with D→K_{S}^{0}π^{+}π^{-} decays, where h^{0}∈{π^{0},η,ω} denotes a light unflavored and neutral hadron. The measurement is performed combining the final data sets of the BABAR and Belle experiments collected at the ϒ(4S) resonance at the asymmetric-energy B factories PEP-II at SLAC and KEKB at KEK, respectively. The data samples contain (471±3)×10^{6}BB[over ¯] pairs recorded by the BABAR detector and (772±11)×10^{6}BB[over ¯] pairs recorded by the Belle detector. The results of the measurement are sin2β=0.80±0.14(stat)±0.06(syst)±0.03(model) and cos2β=0.91±0.22(stat)±0.09(syst)±0.07(model). The result for the direct measurement of the angle β of the CKM Unitarity Triangle is β=[22.5±4.4(stat)±1.2(syst)±0.6(model)]°. The measurement assumes no direct CP violation in B^{0}→D^{(*)}h^{0} decays. The quoted model uncertainties are due to the composition of the D^{0}→K_{S}^{0}π^{+}π^{-} decay amplitude model, which is newly established by performing a Dalitz plot amplitude analysis using a high-statistics e^{+}e^{-}→cc[over ¯] data sample. CP violation is observed in B^{0}→D^{(*)}h^{0} decays at the level of 5.1 standard deviations. The significance for cos2β>0 is 3.7 standard deviations. The trigonometric multifold solution π/2-β=(68.1±0.7)° is excluded at the level of 7.3 standard deviations. The measurement resolves an ambiguity in the determination of the apex of the CKM Unitarity Triangle.
