Abstract
Objective: To investigate the clinical characteristics of abnormal liver function in patients with advanced esophageal squamous carcinoma treated with programmed death-1 (PD-1) antibody SHR-1210 alone or in combination with apatinib and chemotherapy. Methods: Clinical data of 73 patients with esophageal squamous carcinoma from 2 prospective clinical studies conducted at the Cancer Hospital Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences from May 11, 2016, to November 19, 2019, were analyzed, and logistic regression analysis was used for the analysis of influencing factors. Results: Of the 73 patients, 35 had abnormal liver function. 13 of the 43 patients treated with PD-1 antibody monotherapy (PD-1 monotherapy group) had abnormal liver function, and the median time to first abnormal liver function was 55 days. Of the 30 patients treated with PD-1 antibody in combination with apatinib and chemotherapy (PD-1 combination group), 22 had abnormal liver function, and the median time to first abnormal liver function was 41 days. Of the 35 patients with abnormal liver function, 2 had clinical symptoms, including malaise and loss of appetite, and 1 had jaundice. 28 of the 35 patients with abnormal liver function returned to normal and 7 improved to grade 1, and none of the patients had serious life-threatening or fatal liver function abnormalities. Combination therapy was a risk factor for patients to develop abnormal liver function (P=0.007). Conclusions: Most of the liver function abnormalities that occur during treatment with PD-1 antibody SHR-1210 alone or in combination with apatinib and chemotherapy are mild, and liver function can return to normal or improve with symptomatic treatment. For patients who receive PD-1 antibody in combination with targeted therapy and chemotherapy and have a history of long-term previous smoking, alcohol consumption and hepatitis B virus infection, liver function should be monitored and actively managed in a timely manner.

Abstract
Hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection is a global health problem. Animal models are important for the study of the HBV infection mechanism. In the study related to the mouse model of HBV infection, the researchers have established a variety of mouse models, including transgenic, plasmid hydrodynamic injection, virus vector transfection, cccDNA cycle simulation, human and mouse liver chimerism, and liver/immune dual humanization, according to the characteristics of HBV infection. Herein, the research progress of these models is summarized. Notably, the application of these models can further clarify the mechanism of HBV infection under the conditions of a specific immune response in vivo and lay the foundation for the development of new antiviral drugs and immunotherapy for HBV infection.

Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the long-term safety, effectiveness, predictability and stability of ICL V4c implantation for moderate to high myopia. Methods: In this retrospective case series study, 95 eyes from 50 patients with moderate to severe myopia who were treated in 2015 underwent central hole type posterior chamber intraocular lens (ICL V4c) implantation at Eye & ENT Hospital of Fudan University. The patients were followed up for a period of five years, during which we assessed various parameters including uncorrected visual acuity (UDVA), corrected visual acuity (CDVA), refractive error, axial length, intraocular pressure, endothelial cell density (ECD), vault, and complications. We used the paired t-test and repeated measures one-way ANOVA in SPSS statistical software to analyze the data. Results: The mean spherical equivalent refraction (SE) decreased significantly from (-12.16±3.04) D preoperatively to (-0.19±0.55) D at one month and (-1.14±0.84) D at five years postoperatively. The safety indices (postoperative CDVA/preoperative CDVA) were 1.24±0.27 and 1.13±0.27, respectively, and the efficacy indices (postoperative UDVA/preoperative CDVA) were 1.14±0.25 and 0.87±0.26 at one month and five years postoperatively. At one month after surgery, 80.00% of the eyes were within ±0.50 D of the expected correction, and 96.84% were within ±1.00 D. There was no significant difference in IOP between preoperative and postoperative measurements. The rate of ECD was 3.87%, and the vault decreased by 106.32 μm at five years postoperatively. Conclusion: ICL V4c implantation is safe and effective with good predictability and stability for long term.

Abstract
Objective: To clarify the phenotypes of the newborns with SLC26A4 single-allele mutation in deafness genetic screening and second variant; to analyze the SLC26A4 genotype and hearing phenotype. Methods: 850 newborns born in Beijing from April 2015 to December 2019 were included and there were 468 males and 382 females. They received genetic deafness screening for 9 or 15 variants, with the result of SLC26A4 single-allele mutation. Firstly, three step deafness gene sequencing was adopted in this work, i.e., the first step was "SLC26A4 gene whole exons and splice sites" sequencing; the second step was "SLC26A4 gene promoter, FOXI1 gene and KCNJ10 gene whole exons" sequencing; and the third step was detection for "SLC26A4 gene copy number variation". Secondly, we collected the results of newborn hearing screening for all patients with the second mutation found in the three step test, and conducted audiological examinations, such as acoustic immittance, auditory brainstem response and auditory steady state response. Thirdly, for novel/VUS mutations, we searched the international deafness gene database or software, such as DVD, ClinVar and Mutation Taster, to predict the pathogenicity of mutations according to the ACMG guideline. Lastly, we analyzed the relationship between genotype and phenotype of newborns with SLC26A4 single allele mutation. Results: Among 850 cases, the median age of diagnosis was 4 months. In the first step, 850 cases were sequenced. A total of 32 cases (3.76%, 32/850) of a second variants were detected, including 18 cases (2.12%, 18/850) with identified pathogenic variants; 832 cases were sequenced and 8 cases of KCNJ10 gene missense variants were detected among the second step. No missense mutations in the FOXI1 gene and abnormal SLC26A4 gene promoter were detected; the third step sequencing results were all negative. Genotypes and hearing phenotypes included 18 cases combined with the second clear pathogenic variant, 16 cases (16/18) referred newborn hearing screening and 2 cases (2/18) passed in both ears; degree of hearing loss consisted of 18 profound ears (18/36), 13 severe ears (13/36) and 5 moderate ears (5/36); audiogram patterns comprised 17 high frequency drop ears (17/36), 14 flat ears (14/36), 3 undistinguished ears (3/36), and 2 U shaped ears (2/36); 11 cases underwent imaging examination, all of which were bilateral enlarged vestibular aqueduct. As for 22 cases of other genotypes, all passed neonatal hearing screening and the hearing diagnosis was normal, including 9 cases with VUS or possibly novel benign variants, 8 cases with KCNJ10 double gene heterozygous variants, and 5 cases with double heterozygous variants. Conclusions: The probability of individuals with SLC26A4 single-allele variant who merge with a second pathogenic variant is 2.12%, all of which are SNV, which can provide scientific basis for the genetic diagnosis and genetic counseling of SLC26A4 variants. Those who have merged with second pathogenic variant are all diagnosed with sensorineural hearing loss. Patients with KCNJ10 gene mutations do not manifest hearing loss during the infancy, suggesting the need for further follow-up.

Abstract
Objective: To analyze the incidence and risk factors of acute mountain sickness (AMS) in grid construction personnel working at plateau. Methods: A total of 10 956 plateau construction personnel of Ali Network Project from January 1, 2019 to December 31, 2020 were included. Baseline information (including age, sex, body mass index, developmental and nutritional status, relevant clinical indicators, etc.) and follow-up data of AMS were obtained from the medical record of Ali Internet engineering staff medical station. The altitude of the residence place in early life and the working environment were obtained from the website (https://zh-cn.topographic-map.com/legal/). The incidences of overall AMS and its subgroups were calculated, and the Cox proportional hazards model was used to explore the risk factors for AMS. Results: The age of the participants was (36.1±10.5) years old at baseline, and 95.27% (10 438) of them were males. The follow-up time was (17.46±4.23) months. The altitude of the residence place in early-life and working environment were (1 959±937) m and (4 533±233) m, respectively. During the follow-up period, the incidence of AMS was 15.58% (1 707 cases), and the incidence for acute mountain sickness and high altitude pulmonary edema were 15.53% (1 702 cases) and 0.05% (5 cases), respectively. No high altitude cerebral edema patients were found. Cox proportional hazards model showed that the risk of AMS increased by 45% for every 100 m elevation in the altitude of working environment [HR (95%CI): 1.45 (1.41-1.51)]. The higher the altitude for the residence place in early-life, the lower the risk of AMS [HR (95%CI): 0.84 (0.80-0.88)]. Compared with the group with oxygen saturation during 90%-94%, the participants with oxygen saturation<75% [HR (95%CI): 1.67 (1.24-2.23)] at baseline was also associated with increased risk of AMS. Conclusions: The incidence of AMS is relatively low in grid construction workers working on plateau. The risk factors of AMS included higher working altitude, lower altitude of the residence place in early-life and oxygen saturation<75%.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the predictive value of glycosylated hemoglobin A1c/apolipoprotein A-1 (HbA1c/ApoA-1) ratio for major adverse cardiovascular events (MACEs) in patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS). Methods: The present study is a retrospective cohort study. ACS patients who were hospitalized and underwent coronary angiography at Beijing Hospital from March 2017 to March 2019 were enrolled. Baseline information such as sex, age, previous history, Gensini score, HbA1c and ApoA-1 were analyzed. Patients were divided into two groups according to presence or absence of MACEs and the difference on HbA1c/ApoA-1 ratio was compared between the two groups. According to the tertiles of HbA1c/ApoA-1 levels, patients were divided into high (5.87-16.12), medium (4.50-5.83) and low (2.11-4.48) HbA1c/ApoA-1 groups. Cox proportional risk model was used to evaluate the differences in MACEs and all-cause mortality among the three groups. Kaplan-Meier survival analysis was used to compare the differences of MACEs between the various HbA1c/ApoA-1 groups. Results: A total of 366 ACS patients were included in this study. The mean age of the patients was (65.9±10.3) years. There were 59 MACEs and 10 all-cause deaths during the mean of (22.3±4.4) months follow-up. After adjusting for age, systolic blood pressure, history of diabetes and Gensini score, the incidence of MACEs was 2.45 times higher in the high HbA1c/ApoA-1 group than in the low HbA1c/ApoA-1 group (95%CI 1.16-5.18, P=0.019). There was no significant difference in all-cause mortality between the high and low HbA1c/ApoA-1 groups (P=1.000). Kaplan-Meier survival analysis showed that patients in the high HbA1c/ApoA-1 group had the highest risk of MACEs, while patients in the low HbA1c/ApoA-1 group had the lowest risk of MACEs (P<0.01). Spearman rank correlation analysis showed that HbA1/ApoA-1 ratio was positively correlated with Gensini score in ACS patients (r=0.274, P<0.01). Conclusion: High HbA1c/ApoA-1 ratio was an independent risk factor for MACEs in ACS patients. Patients with high HbA1c/ApoA-1 ratio had more severe coronary artery disease lesions. HbA1c/ApoA-1 ratio may be used as a potential risk stratification biomarker for ACS patients, it might be useful for the early identification of high-risk population and for predicting the incidence of MACEs among ACS patients.

Abstract
Chiral nanographenes with both high fluorescence quantum yields (ΦF ) and large dissymmetry factors (glum ) are essential to the development of circularly polarized luminescence (CPL) materials. However, most studies have been focused on the improvement of glum , whereas how to design highly emissive chiral nanographenes is still unclear. In this work, we propose a new design strategy to achieve chiral nanographenes with high ΦF by helical π-extension of strongly luminescent chromophores while maintaining the frontier molecular orbital (FMO) distribution pattern. Chiral nanographene with perylene as the core and two dibenzo[6]helicene fragments as the wings has been synthesized, which exhibits a record high ΦF of 93 % among the reported chiral nanographenes and excellent CPL brightness (BCPL ) of 32 M-1 cm-1 .

Abstract
Solution-synthesized graphene nanoribbons (GNRs) facilitate various interesting structures and functionalities, like nonplanarity and thermolabile functional groups, that are not or not easily accessible by on-surface synthesis. Here, we show the successful high-vacuum electrospray deposition (HVESD) of well-elongated solution-synthesized GNRs on surfaces maintained in ultrahigh vacuum. We compare three distinct GNRs, a twisted nonplanar fjord-edged GNR, a methoxy-functionalized "cove"-type (or also called gulf) GNR, and a longer "cove"-type GNR both equipped with alkyl chains on Au(111). Nc-AFM measurements at room temperature with submolecular imaging combined with Raman spectroscopy allow us to characterize individual GNRs and confirm their chemical integrity. The fjord-GNR and methoxy-GNR are additionally deposited on nonmetallic HOPG and SiO2, and fjord-GNR is deposited on a KBr(001) surface, facilitating the study of GNRs on substrates, as of now not accessible by on-surface synthesis.

Abstract
OBJECTIVES Summarize the existing evidence regarding the prevalence and risk factors of frailty in stroke patients. DESIGN A meta-analysis and systematic review. PARTICIPANTS Stroke patients in hospitals or communities. METHODS We undertook a systematic review and meta-analysis using articles available in 8 databases, including PubMed, The Cochrane Library, Web of Science, Embase, Chinese Biomedical Database (CBM), China National Knowledge Infrastructure Database (CNKI), Wanfang Database, and Weipu Database (VIP) from January 1990 to April 2022. Studies were quality rated using the Newcastle-Ottawa Scale and Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality tool. RESULTS A total of 24 studies involving 30,423 participants were identified. The prevalence of frailty and pre-frailty in stroke patients was 27% (95%CI: 0.23-0.31) and 47.9% (95%CI: 0.43-0.53). Female gender (OR = 1.76, 95%CI: 1.63-1.91), advanced age (MD = 6.73, 95%CI: 3.55-9.91), diabetes (OR = 1.34, 95%CI: 1.06-1.69), hyperlipidemia (OR = 1.46, 95%CI: 1.04-2.04), atrial fibrillation (OR = 1.36, 95%CI: 1.01-1.82), National Institutes of Stroke Scale (NIHSS) admission scores (MD = 2.27, 95%CI: 1.72-2.81) were risk factors of frailty in stroke patients. CONCLUSIONS Frailty was more prevalent in stroke patients. Female gender, advanced age, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, atrial fibrillation, and National Institutes of Stroke Scale (NIHSS) admission scores were identified as risk factors for frailty in stroke patients. In the future, medical staff should pay attention to the early screening of frailty in high-risk groups and provide information on its prevention.

Abstract
The kilometer square array (KM2A) of the large high altitude air shower observatory (LHAASO) aims at surveying the northern γ-ray sky at energies above 10 TeV with unprecedented sensitivity. γ-ray observations have long been one of the most powerful tools for dark matter searches, as, e.g., high-energy γ rays could be produced by the decays of heavy dark matter particles. In this Letter, we present the first dark matter analysis with LHAASO-KM2A, using the first 340 days of data from 1/2-KM2A and 230 days of data from 3/4-KM2A. Several regions of interest are used to search for a signal and account for the residual cosmic-ray background after γ/hadron separation. We find no excess of dark matter signals, and thus place some of the strongest γ-ray constraints on the lifetime of heavy dark matter particles with mass between 10^{5} and 10^{9} GeV. Our results with LHAASO are robust, and have important implications for dark matter interpretations of the diffuse astrophysical high-energy neutrino emission.

Abstract
OBJECTIVES To investigate the feasibility of a deep learning-accelerated T2-weighted turbo spin echo (TSE) sequence (T2DL) applied to female pelvic MRI, using standard T2-weighted TSE (T2S) as reference. METHODS In total, 24 volunteers and 48 consecutive patients with benign uterine diseases were enrolled. Patients in the menstrual phase were excluded. T2S and T2DL sequences in three planes were performed for each participant. Quantitative image evaluation was conducted by calculating the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and contrast-to-noise ratio (CNR). Image geometric distortion was evaluated by measuring the diameters in all three directions of the uterus and lesions. Qualitative image evaluation including overall image quality, artifacts, boundary sharpness of the uterine zonal layers, and lesion conspicuity were assessed by three radiologists using a 5-point Likert scale, with 5 indicating the best quality. Comparative analyses were conducted for the two sequences. RESULTS T2DL resulted in a 62.7% timing reduction (1:54 min for T2DL and 5:06 min for T2S in axial, sagittal, and coronal imaging, respectively). Compared to T2S, T2DL had significantly higher SNR (p ≤ 0.001) and CNR (p ≤ 0.007), and without geometric distortion (p = 0.925-0.981). Inter-observer agreement regarding qualitative evaluation was excellent (Kendall's W > 0.75). T2DL provided superior image quality (all p < 0.001), boundary sharpness of the uterine zonal layers (all p < 0.001), lesion conspicuity (p = 0.002, p < 0.001, and p = 0.021), and fewer artifacts (all p < 0.001) in sagittal, axial, and coronal imaging. CONCLUSIONS Compared with standard TSE, deep learning-accelerated T2-weighted TSE is feasible to reduce acquisition time of female pelvic MRI with significant improvement of image quality.

Abstract
β decay of proton-rich nuclei plays an important role in exploring isospin mixing. The β decay of ^{26}P at the proton drip line is studied using double-sided silicon strip detectors operating in conjunction with high-purity germanium detectors. The T=2 isobaric analog state (IAS) at 13 055 keV and two new high-lying states at 13 380 and 11 912 keV in ^{26}Si are unambiguously identified through β-delayed two-proton emission (β2p). Angular correlations of two protons emitted from ^{26}Si excited states populated by ^{26}P β decay are measured, which suggests that the two protons are emitted mainly sequentially. We report the first observation of a strongly isospin-mixed doublet that deexcites mainly via two-proton decay. The isospin mixing matrix element between the ^{26}Si IAS and the nearby 13 380-keV state is determined to be 130(21) keV, and this result represents the strongest mixing, highest excitation energy, and largest level spacing of a doublet ever observed in β-decay experiments.

Abstract
Objective: To propose a method to judge the safety of axial pedicle screw placement based on the position of the tip of the screw trajectory on the anteroposterior and lateral X-ray radiographs. Methods: The cervical CT data of 40 patients admitted to the Second Affiliated Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University from December 2020 to December 2021 were selected, including 24 males and 16 females, with a mean age of (47.6±13.2) years. Based on the three-dimensional model reconstruction of Mimics software and its function of X-ray, the transmission of the axial pedicle screw and its anteroposterior and lateral films was simulated. The position of the tip of the simulated screw trajectory was divided into 5 regions (regions Ⅰ-Ⅴ) from the inside to the outside on the anteroposterior virtual radiographs, and the upper and lower regions (regions a, b) on the lateral virtual radiographs. By adjusting the direction of the screw, the tip of the screw was located in the corresponding 10 regions (80 screws in each area) on the virtual projections of the anteroposterior and lateral virtual radiographs respectively, and its accuracy was analyzed by CT to determine whether each screw penetrated the medial wall of the pedicle or vertebral artery foramen. The anteroposterior and lateral X-rays and postoperative CT data of 34 patients who underwent axial pedicle screw placement (67 axial pedicle screws were placed in total) from January 2014 to December 2021 were collected, including 18 males and 16 females, with a mean age of (45.8±14.1) years. The position of the tip of the screw trajectory on the anteroposterior and lateral films was divided in the same way. The number of screws in the corresponding 10 positions was counted, and CT analysis was used to determine whether each screw penetrated the medial wall of the axial pedicle or the vertebral artery foreman. Results: The results of the imaging simulation screw placement study showed that the perforation rate of the vertebral artery foramen in region Ⅳ and Ⅴ was 75.0% (120/160) and 100% (160/160), respectively, while the perforation rate of the medial wall of the axial pedicle in the region Ⅰ was 85.6%(137/160). The failure rate in regions Ⅱ and Ⅲ was relatively lower, and the performance of simulated screws located in the region a was better than those in region b. The perforation rates of the medial wall in regions (a-Ⅱ) and (a-Ⅲ) was 7.5% (6/80) and 0 (0/80), respectively, and the perforation rates of the vertebral foramen was 0 (0/80) and 21.3% (17/80), respectively. The retrospective imaging study also showed a higher rate of placement failure in regions Ⅰ, Ⅳ and Ⅴ, and relatively lower in regions Ⅱ and Ⅲ. There were total of 15 screws in region a-Ⅱ and a-Ⅲ, and no destruction of the medial wall of the axial pedicle and the vertebral artery foreman occurred there. Conclusions: Regions a-Ⅱ and a-Ⅲ are the "safety areas" of the tip of the pedicle screw trajectory in the axial vertebra. By analyzing the tip of the pedicle screw trajectory on the anteroposterior and lateral radiographs, the operator can determine the reasonable trajectory of axial pedicle screw placement, prevent the injury of the cervical spinal cord and vertebral artery, and reduce the risk of operation.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the effect of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) on the clinical characteristics of patients with laryngopharyngeal reflux disease(LPRD). Methods: The data of 141 patients with symptoms of LPRD, who were admitted to the Department of Pharyngology, Laryngology& Phonosurgery at the Sixth Medical Center of the PLA General Hospital from November 2020 to October 2021, were retrospectively analyzed. There were 118 males and 23 females, aged 28-75 (56.72±10.04) years old. The included patients underwent simultaneous 24-hour hypopharyngeal and esophageal multichannel intraluminal impedance pH monitoring (24h-HEMII-pH), salivary pepsin test at multiple times, Reflux Symptom Index (RSI), and Reflux Finding Score (RFS). One laryngopharyngeal reflux event on 24 h-HEMII-pH monitoring results was used as a diagnostic criterion for LPRD. And the duration of lower esophageal pH<4.0>4.0% at 24 h or DeMeester score>14.7 were used as diagnostic criteria for GERD. Among them, patients with both positive LPRD and GERD were classified as L&G group, patients with positive LPRD and negative GERD were classified as IL group, patients with negative LPRD and positive GERD were classified as IG group, and patients with both negative LPRD and GERD were classified as N group. The differences in the clinical characteristics of reflux and salivary pepsin assay in each group were statistically analyzed. SPSS 23.0 software was applied for statistical analysis. Results: According to the 24 h-HEMII-pH results, 116 (82.3%) patients were diagnosed with LPRD and 45 (31.9%) with GERD, including 82 (58.2%) in the IL group, 34 (24.1%) in the L&G group, 11 (7.8%) in the IG group, and 14 (9.9%) in the N group. Based on the salivary pepsin test, a total of 106 patients had positive results, and the L&G group had a significantly higher rate of positive total salivary pepsin test (94.1%) and positive morning test (70.6%) than the IL group (75.6%, 26.8%), IG group (63.6%, 27.3%) and N group (35.7%, 28.6%), with chi-square values of 19.01 and 20.81, both with P<0.001. The patients in the L&G group had a significantly higher RSI score (14.0) than the IL group (7.0), IG group (1.0) and N group (0), H=52.26,P<0.001. The difference in RFS between the L&G and IL groups was not statistically significant (Z=-0.92,P>0.05). Conclusion: Combined with GERD, LPRD patients have more obvious clinical symptoms and higher positive rate of pepsin test in saliva.

Seed germination traits and dormancy classification of 27 species from a degraded karst mountain in central Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau: seed mass and moisture content correlate with germination capacity. Abstract
In degraded karst ecosystem, vegetation restoration efforts almost exclusively rely on planted seedlings, but this is not effective to maintain community diversity and resilience. As seed functional traits, seed dormancy and germination are key to community assembly. Unfortunately, these elements are commonly overlooked in restoring degraded ecosystems. This work classifies seed dormancy of 27 species with different life forms that are common on a degraded karst mountain. We examined the effects of temperature regime and light conditions on percentage germination and assessed the relationships between seed traits and germination index using a partial least squares regression (PLSR). Approximately 48% of the investigated species had physiological dormancy, 37% were non-dormant, 7% had morphophysiological dormancy, 4% had morphological dormancy and 4% had physical dormancy. We found that 94% (15 out of 16) species had maximum germination in warm temperature regimes (20/13 and 25/18 °C), while the remaining species required cool temperatures (10/4 °C). PLSR analysis indicated a significant positive correlation between seed mass and T50m (time to 50% final germination), and a negative correlation between seed moisture content and percentage germination. Our findings indicate that seed traits are important factors in seed-based restoration practice. F. esculentum, O. opipara, P. fortuneana and S. salicifolia are recommended for direct seeding during the early rainy season to restore seriously degraded lands in subtropical karst regions.

Abstract
Objective This study investigated the effects of 12 weeks of specifically designed physical activity intervention on working memory and motor competence in preschool children and explored the correlation between working memory changes and motor competence changes by the intervention. Methods Four classes of preschool children were grouped into an intervention group and a control group. Children in the intervention group received a 12-week physical activity intervention, while children in the control group followed their daily routine as usual. Before and after the intervention period, children were assessed with the 1-back task and Movement Assessment Battery for Children, second edition (MABC-2) to measure their working memory and motor competence, respectively. Results Regarding working memory, the accuracy on the 1-back task increased significantly in the intervention group relative to the control group. The intervention group demonstrated a greater decrease in response time from pre- to posttest than the control group, but the difference was not statistically significant. Regarding motor competence, children's manual dexterity, aiming and catching and total score increased significantly in the intervention group relative to the control group, while no significant difference in static and dynamic balance was observed between the two groups. Furthermore, the correlation results showed that changes in the efficacy and efficiency of working memory were positively related to changes in static and dynamic balance and the total score on the MABC-2. Conclusion These findings demonstrated that 12 weeks of specifically designed physical activity intervention could improve preschool children's efficacy of working memory as well as manual dexterity, aiming and catching and global motor competence. The improvement in the efficacy and efficiency of working memory was positively related to the improvement in static and dynamic balance and global motor competence.

Abstract
The ^{13}C(α,n)^{16}O reaction is the main neutron source for the slow-neutron-capture process in asymptotic giant branch stars and for the intermediate process. Direct measurements at astrophysical energies in above-ground laboratories are hindered by the extremely small cross sections and vast cosmic-ray-induced background. We performed the first consistent direct measurement in the range of E_{c.m.}=0.24 to 1.9 MeV using the accelerators at the China Jinping Underground Laboratory and Sichuan University. Our measurement covers almost the entire intermediate process Gamow window in which the large uncertainty of the previous experiments has been reduced from 60% down to 15%, eliminates the large systematic uncertainty in the extrapolation arising from the inconsistency of existing datasets, and provides a more reliable reaction rate for the studies of the slow-neutron-capture and intermediate processes along with the first direct determination of the alpha strength for the near-threshold state.
