Abstract
Introduction and importance: Tuberculosis is one of the leading causes of mortality in many developing countries. Female genital tuberculosis, a relatively uncommon form of tuberculosis, is critically challenging to diagnose due to its insidious and non-typical presentations. Case presentation Herein, we present with an asymptomatic infertile woman with persistently high CA-125 passed undiagnosed until laparoscopy unveiled the diagnosis of TB. Clinical discussion In this study, we highlight the diagnostic complexities in female genital tuberculosis and demonstrate the value of the CA-125 increase in prompting the suspicion of tuberculosis in the appropriate clinical context. Conclusion Given the considerably large number of individuals with tuberculosis in China, we strongly recommend routine tuberculosis screening in women seeking infertility care in China. Female genital tuberculosis is difficult to diagnose early due to its rarity and insidious symptoms. Persistent elevation of CA-125 may indicate the presence of tuberculosis in rare occasions. Performing tuberculosis screening routinely for infertile womenin tuberculosis prevailing regions is recommended.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the influence of residual astigmatism on the postoperative visual acuity in cataract patients with implantation of an extended depth of focus intraocular lens (IOL). Methods: Retrospective cohort study. A total of 56 eyes of 56 cataract patients who underwent phacoemulsification combined with extended depth of focus IOL implantation from January 2019 to December 2020 at Eye & ENT Hospital of Fudan University were included. There were 29 males and 27 females in all patients, and the age was (65±9) years. Patients were divided into two groups according to their postoperative residual astigmatism: low astigmatism group (<0.75 D, 28 eyes) and high astigmatism group (0.75 to 1.50 D, 28 eyes). At 3 months after surgery, measurements were completed, including postoperative uncorrected distance (5 m) visual acuity, uncorrected intermediate (80 cm) visual acuity, uncorrected near (40 cm) visual acuity, best corrected visual acuity (all the visual acuity was converted to the logarithm of the minimum angle of resolution visual acuity), defocus curves, quick contrast sensitivity function, wavefront aberration, and VF-14 questionnaire scores. The independent samples t-test and Mann-Whitney U test were used for data analysis. Results: The low astigmatism group and high astigmatism group's uncorrected distance visual acuity [M (Q1, Q3)] were 0.05 (-0.06, 0.10), 0.08 (0.00, 0.22), their uncorrected intermediate visual acuity were 0.11 (0.00, 0.20), 0.14 (0.10, 0.21), their uncorrected near visual acuity were 0.28 (0.20, 0.32), 0.26 (0.20, 0.30), and their best corrected visual acuity were 0.17 (0.05, 0.30), 0.14 (0.04, 0.22), respectively. The differences were not statistically significant (all P>0.05). No significant difference was found in the defocus curves from +1.00 to -4.00 D, at intervals of +0.50 D, between the two groups (all P>0.05). No significant difference was found in the quick contrast sensitivity of low, middle and high frequency of dark vision between the low astigmatism group and high astigmatism group (all P>0.05), and the area under Log contrast sensitivity function of the two groups were 0.87±0.28 and 0.77±0.30 (P>0.05). The total whole-eye aberrations were 0.59±0.18 and 0.74±0.51, and the total higher-order aberrations were 0.30±0.13 and 0.37±0.25 in the two groups at 4.0-mm pupil diameter. The differences were not statistically significant when the total whole-eye aberration, total higher-order aberration, coma, cloverleaf aberration, and spherical aberration were compared (all P>0.05). The differences of the total VF-14 visual scores, near visual acuity scores and the distance visual acuity scores of the two groups were not statistically significant (all P>0.05). Conclusion: Cataract patients with residual postoperative astigmatism 0.75 to 1.50 D can obtain as good visual quality as those with postoperative residual astigmatism<0.75 D after implantation of an extended depth of focus IOL.

Abstract
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES This study examines the effects of family beliefs and family strength on individual resilience and quality of life among young breast cancer survivors and determines whether family strength mediates the effect of family beliefs on individual resilience and quality of life. BACKGROUND Family beliefs and family strength are meaningful protective factors that help individuals maintain physical and mental health. However, few studies have explored their impact on individual resilience and quality of life. DESIGN This study was conducted using a cross-sectional survey with a three-stage, stratified, convenience sampling approach following the STROBE guideline. METHODS From August 2020 to May 2021, participants completed the shortened Chinese version of the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale, the Chinese version of the Family Beliefs Scale, the Family Strength Scale and the Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy-Breast scale. Structural equation modelling and multiple mediation effects test were used to explore the relationships among family beliefs, family strength, individual resilience and quality of life. RESULTS The final model accounted for 44.5% and 78.1% of the total variance of individual resilience and quality of life, respectively. Family beliefs had an indirect effect on both individual resilience and quality of life through family strength. Family strength had a direct effect on individual resilience and had both a direct and an indirect effect on quality of life. Family strength mediated the correlations of family beliefs with individual resilience and quality of life. CONCLUSION Mobilising family resources to establish healthy family beliefs and exert positive family strength will help increase young breast cancer survivors' individual resilience and improve quality of life. RELEVANCE TO CLINICAL PRACTICE This study confirms the importance for clinical nursing practice to mobilise family resources and develop interventions centred on family beliefs and family strength.

Abstract
Acute graft-versus-host disease (aGvHD) is the most common complication after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT) and significantly linked with morbidity and mortality. Although much work has been engaged to investigate aGvHD pathogenesis, the understanding of alloreactive T-cell activation remains incomplete. To address this, we studied transcriptional activation of carbohydrate, nucleotide, tricarboxylic acid (TCA) cycle, and amino acid metabolism of T cells before aGvHD onset by mining the Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) datasets. Glycolysis had the most extensive correlation with other activated metabolic sub-pathways. Through Pearson correlation analyses, we found that glycolytic activation was positively correlated with activated CD4 memory T-cell subset and T-cell proliferation and migration. T-cell receptor (TCR), mechanistic target of rapamycin complex 1 (mTORC1), myelocytomatosis oncogene (MYC) signaling pathways and E2F6 might be “master regulators” of glycolytic activity. aGvHD predictive model constructed by glycolytic genes (PFKP, ENO3, and GAPDH) through logistic regression showed high predictive and discriminative value. Furthermore, higher expressions of PFKP, ENO3, and GAPDH in alloreactive T cells were confirmed in our pre-aGvHD patient cohort. And the predictive value of the aGvHD risk model was also validated. In summary, our study demonstrated that glycolytic activation might play a pivotal function in alloreactive T-cell activation before aGvHD onset and would be the potential target for aGvHD therapy.

Abstract
The instability of organic field-effect transistors (OFETs) is one key obstacle to practical application and is closely related to the unstable aggregate state of organic semiconductors (OSCs). However, the underlying reason for this instability remains unclear, and no effective solution has been developed. Herein, we find that the intrinsic tensile and compressive strains that exist in OSC films are the key origins for aggregate state instability and device degradation. We further report a strain balance strategy to stabilize the aggregate state by regulating film thickness, which is based on the unique transition from tensile strain to compressive strain with increasing film thickness. Consequently, a strain-free and ultrastable OSC film is obtained by regulating the film thickness, with which an ultrastable OFET with a five-year lifetime is realized. This work provides a deeper understanding of and a solution to the instability of OFETs and sheds light on their industrialization.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Accumulating evidences have confirmed that liver is one of the more severely damaged organs during chronic fluorosis. However, the detail mechanism is unclear to data. At present, the objective of this study was to investigate the relationship between down-regulation of IKBKG gene expression and hepatocyte senescence induced by sodium fluoride (NaF). METHODS Chronic fluorosis rats and NaF-exposure human liver L02 cells were reproduced the model of hepatocyte senescence in vivo and in vitro. The mRNA and protein levels of p16, p21 and IKBKG, the IL-8 level were determined. The role of IKBKG in fluoride-induced senescence of hepatocytes was explored by knock down in hepatocytes in vivo and in vitro. RESULTS The number of senescence-positive cells in rat liver tissues was increased as well as the level of IL-8 and the expression levels of p16, p21 and IKBKG in fluoride exposure to rat depending on the fluoride concentration. The similar results were obtained in NaF treated liver L02 cells, and the number of cells that stagnated in the G2 phase increased significantly. Further, our results confirmed that decreasing the expression of IKBKG in hepatocytes could reduce fluoride-induced hepatocyte senescence and the changes of senescence-related indicators both in vivo and in vitro. CONCLUSION These results indicated that the elevated expression of IKBKG was positive relation with the fluoride-induced senescence in hepatocytes, suggesting the hepatocyte senescence might have a special relationship with fluoride-caused liver damage. Because of the present results limitation, the mechanism of fluoride induced senescence in hepatocytes should be concentrated in the future in detail, especially the novel targets for fluoride induced liver injury.

Abstract
We studied the effects of Saccharomyces cerevisiae boulardii
CNCM I-1079 (LSB) supplemented to lactating sows on reproductive traits and
farrowing duration and to piglets from day 7 of life on post-weaning performance
and IgG concentration. Ninety-six Landrace × Yorkshire sows started the
trial 5 days before the expected farrowing date. Sows were distributed into 2
groups according to parity number and backfat thickness: control (CON: regular
lactation diet) and LSB (CON + LSB at 2 × 109 colony forming
units [CFU]/kg of feed). Seven days after birth, litters were randomly selected
from each group and supplemented creep feed with or without LSB at 2 ×
109 CFU/kg. At weaning, piglets from CON sows were shifted to a
commercial farm and allocated to 14 pens in groups of 25 piglets/pen according
to the creep feed supplemented during lactation. Piglets followed a 3-phase
feeding program: creep, pre-starter and starter, with or without LSB at 2
× 109 CFU/kg LSB in creep and pre-starter, and 1 ×
109 CFU/kg LSB in starter. The piglets were vaccinated against
classical swine fever on days 41 and 72 of life. One day before each vaccination
and at the end of the trial, blood samples were collected from 15 randomly
selected piglets per treatment and assessed for total IgG. Supplemented sows
with non-supplemented litters displayed the lowest backfat thickness loss during
lactation (p < 0.05). The LSB supplementation shortened
farrowing duration (p < 0.05) and increased feed intake
(p < 0.05) during the first week of lactation. The
LSB-fed piglets were heavier at the end of creep (p <
0.05), pre-starter (p < 0.05), and the trial
(p < 0.05); grew faster during creep
(p < 0.05), starter (p <
0.05), and overall (p < 0.05); and displayed an improved
feed conversion ratio during creep (p < 0.05). Total IgG
content was higher at days 40 (p < 0.05) and 71
(p < 0.05) in LSB-fed piglets. We conclude that
supplementing sows with Saccharomyces cerevisiae boulardii CNCM
I-1079 from late gestation until weaning shortens farrowing duration, increases
feed intake, and minimizes backfat losses during lactation. When supplemented to
piglet diet, post-weaning performance is improved. This improvement observed
could be linked to a better immune status, as suggested by the higher IgG.

Abstract
Background Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is the most common acute leukemia in adults, with a median age of 68 in clinical diagnosis. About 60% patients are over 60 years old. There are various treatment options for AML patients. But for elderly patients, the complete remission rates are disappointing due to genetic, molecular, and age-related factors. Development of next-generation sequencing technologies makes it possible to seek individual strategies for patients in different ages. This study analyzed transcriptome profiles in platelets of AML patients in different ages for the first time. Methods Platelet RNA sequencing in AML of ten elderly and seven young patients were performed with Illumina TruSeq Stranded mRNA library Prep Kit and Illumina HiSeq4000 sequencing instrument. With the FASTQ sequencing data obtained, statistical analyses between elderly with young AML patients were analyzed by R program. GO and KEGG enrichment analyses were performed via R package clusterProfiler. TOP 10 down-regulated/up-regulated genes in elderly patients compared to young patients were selected with the threshold of |L2FC| > 2 and padj ≤ 0.0001. The down-regulated gene ATF4 was chosen by GSEA analysis and ROC analysis with AUC > 0.95. Results We found 3059 genes with differential transcript levels (GDTLs) in AML patients of different age. Among them, 2048 genes are down-regulated and 651 genes are up-regulated in elderly patients. We found that gene transcript profiles in elderly patients is obviously different from those in young patients, including a collection of down-regulated genes related to proteins processing in endoplasmic reticulum and immunity. We further identified that genes of pathway in cancer and mitogen activated protein kinase (MAPK) pathway, involved in natural immunity and metabolism, are significantly down-regulated in elderly patients. Among all screened genes with decreased transcript levels, we believe that activating transcription factor 4 (ATF4) is a biomarker indicating different chemotherapy strategies for elderly patients. Conclusions In summary, gene transcript profiles are different in platelets of elderly and young AML patients. And ATF4 can be a useful biomarker indicating different chemotherapy strategies for AML patients with different ages. Abstract
Intermediate risk acute myeloid leukemia (AML) comprises around 50% of AML patients and is featured with heterogeneous clinical outcomes. The study aimed to generate a prediction model to identify intermediate risk AML patients with an inferior survival. We performed targeted next generation sequencing analysis for 121 patients with 2017 European LeukemiaNet-defined intermediate risk AML, revealing 122 mutated genes, with 24 genes mutated in > 10% of patients. A prognostic nomogram characterized by white blood cell count ≥10×109/L at diagnosis, mutated DNMT3A and genes involved in signaling pathways was developed for 110 patients who were with clinical outcomes. Two subgroups were identified: intermediate low risk (ILR; 43.6%, 48/110) and intermediate high risk (IHR; 56.4%, 62/110). The model was prognostic of overall survival (OS) and relapse-free survival (RFS) (OS: Concordance index [C-index]: 0.703, 95%CI: 0.643-0.763; RFS: C-index: 0.681, 95%CI 0.620-0.741), and was successfully validated with two independent cohorts. Allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (alloHSCT) reduced the relapse risk of IHR patients (3-year RFS: alloHSCT: 40.0±12.8% vs. chemotherapy: 8.6±5.8%, P= 0.010). The prediction model can help identify patients with an unfavorable prognosis and refine risk-adapted therapy for intermediate risk AML patients.

Abstract
Objective: To explore the pathogenic variants of a family with syndromic deafness by high-throughput sequencing. Methods: The family was from Puyang City, Henan Province, and had four members, including two with syndromic deafness. The proband and his sister had congenital deafness, and their parents had normal phenotypes. The clinical phenotype of the family was characterized using clinical examinations and pedigree analysis. The clinical examinations included imaging examination, audiometry (pure tone audiometry, acoustic immittance, brainstem auditory evoked potential, and otoacoustic emission), vestibular function test, and ophthalmic examination (visual acuity test, visual field test, fundus examination, visual evoked potential, and electroretinogram). Target exome sequencing of 129 known deafness genes and bioinformatics analysis were used to screen suspected pathogenic variants. Sanger sequencing and minigene assay were used to verify and functionally investigate the mutation detected, respectively. According to the standards and guidelines for interpreting genetic variants proposed by the American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics, the variants c.6049G>A and c.8699A>G were classified as pathogenic/likely pathogenic, and the variant c.9856C>G was classified as variants of uncertain significance. Results: The probands and his sister had severe sensorineural hearing loss with decreased binocular vision, night blindness, decreased peripheral visual field sensitivity and partial visual field defect, and normal vestibular function. Both of them had three CDH23 mutations, including CDH23 (NM_022124.5) c.6049G>A (p.Gly2017Ser),c.9856C>G (p.His3286Asp), and c.8699A>G (p. Asp2900Gly), The first two were inherited from the father, and the last one was from the mother. The missense variants c.9856C>G and c.8699A>G were not included in the gnomad database. The missense mutation c.6049G>A was located in the last position of exon 46 and was predicted to affect splicing by bioinformatics software. The minigene experiment showed that the mutation cause exon skipping of exon 46, resulting in an abnormal protein. Conclusions: Compound heterozygous variations of the CDH23 are the leading cause of USH1D in the family. This study confirms that the compound heterozygosity of splicing and missense variants of the CDH23 gene could lead to USH1D.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION Relapse remains the leading cause of treatment failure after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (alloHSCT) in leukemia. Numerous investigations have demonstrated that minimal residual disease (MRD) before or after alloHSCT is prognostic of relapse risk. These MRD data were collected at specific checkpoints and could not dynamically predict the relapse risk after alloHSCT, which needs serial monitoring. METHODS In the present study, we retrospectively analyzed MRD measured with multi-parameter flow cytometry in 207 acute myeloid leukemia (AML) patients (acute promyelocytic leukemia excluded), and 124 acute B lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) patients. A three-step method based on joint model was used to build a relapse risk prediction model. RESULTS The 3-year overall survival and relapse-free survival rates of the entire cohort were 67.1% ± 2.8% and 61.6% ± 2.8%, respectively. The model included disease status before alloHSCT, acute and chronic graft-versus-host disease, and serial MRD data. The time-dependent receiver operating characteristics was used to evaluate the ability of the model. It fitted well with actual incidence of relapse. The serial MRD data collected after alloHSCT had better discrimination capabilities for recurrence prediction with the area under the curve from 0.67 to 0.91 (AML: 0.66-0.89; ALL: 0.70-0.96). CONCLUSION The joint model was able to dynamically predict relapse-free probability after alloHSCT, which would be a useful tool to provide important information to guide decision-making in the clinic and facilitate the individualized therapy.

Abstract
Thyroid storm is a syndrome related to acute exacerbation of thyrotoxicosis for which timely diagnosis and treatment are crucial. Importance of antithyroid drug therapy in thyroid storm patients has been emphasised in clinical treatments for a long time. These patients should receive definitive therapy for their underlying hyperthyroidism to avoid recurrence after controlling thyroid storm. However, the curative effect of antithyroid medication is sometimes limited because of rare or serious side effects or failure to control disease progression, resulting in few treatment alternatives. We present a case of an old woman with thyroid storm and antithyroid drug intolerance, which was successfully managed using a combination of plasma exchange and thyroidectomy. It confirms the significant benefits of therapeutic plasma exchange (TPE) when clinical conditions do not allow routine treatment of thyroid storm. This procedure is safe and effective when performed preoperatively as a rescue measure for thyroid storm patients. Key Words: Thyroid storm, Drug intolerance, Plasma exchange, Total Thyroidectomy.

Abstract
Secondary failure of platelet recovery (SFPR) can occur after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (alloHSCT), and 20% of cases are related to acute graft-versus-host disease (aGVHD). The underlying mechanisms of this association are unclear, however. The aim of the present study was to investigate the potential mechanisms of SFPR secondary to aGVHD, which may provide a new therapeutic strategy for these patients. A total of 468 patients with malignant hematologic disease who underwent alloHSCT were included. Sixty-six patients developed SFPR after alloHSCT, and in 45 of these 66 patients (68.2%), SFPR was secondary to grade II-IV aGVHD (SFPR/aGVHD). Compared with patients with good graft function (GGF), patients with SFPR had poor overall survival (20.72% versus 88.01%; P < .0001). Grade II-IV aGVHD was identified as an independent risk factor for SFPR in multivariate analysis (hazard ratio, 9.512; P < .0001). We observed reduced erythroid and megakaryocyte colony formation in bone marrow (BM) samples isolated from SFPR/aGVHD patients, consistent with the lower frequency of megakaryocyte and erythrocyte progenitors in BM. Levels of the inflammatory cytokines IL-2R and TNF-R1 were significantly higher in the SFPR/aGVHD group compared with the GGF group (P = .002 and .001, respectively), as were the frequencies of proinflammatory T helper subsets. Furthermore, the pathways that regulate hematopoiesis and immune responses were universally underexpressed in CD34+ cells isolated from SFPR/aGVHD patients. Differentially expressed genes were significantly enriched in the hematopoietic cell lineage pathway and other pathways involved in both immune responses and megakaryopoiesis. In summary, we found that both the immune microenvironment and compromised proliferation of hematopoietic primitive cells contribute to the development of SFPR secondary to aGVHD, and our data provide new insight into the mechanisms of SFPR in the context of aGVHD.

Abstract
Adult patients with relapsed or refractory T‐cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (R/R‐T‐ALL) have extremely poor prognosis, representing an urgent unmet medical need. Finding an optimal salvage regimen to bridge transplantation is a priority. The CAG (cytarabine, aclarubicin, and G‐CSF) regimen was initially used by one group in China, showing unexpectedly promising results in 11 R/R‐T‐ALL patients. Here, we report the multicenter results of 41 patients who received the CAG regimen as salvage therapy. After one cycle of the CAG regimen, complete remission and partial remission were achieved in 33 (80.5%) and two (4.9%) patients, respectively. Failure to respond was observed in six patients (14.6%). Early T‐cell precursor (ETP) (n = 26) and non‐ETP (n = 15) patients had a similar CR rate (80.8% vs 80.0%, P = .95). Among 41 patients, allo‐HSCT was successfully performed in 27 (66%) patients (22 in CR and 5 in non‐CR). With a median follow‐up time of 12 months, the estimated 2‐year overall survival and event‐free survival were 68.8% (95% CI, 47.3%‐83.0%) and 56.5% (95% CI, 37.1%‐71.9%), respectively. The CAG regimen was well‐tolerated, and no early death occurred. Our multicenter results show that the CAG regimen is highly effective and safe, representing a novel choice for adult patients with R/R‐T‐ALL and providing a better bridge to transplantation.

Abstract
The mutation of K‐RAS represents one of the most frequent genetic alterations in cancer. Targeting of downstream effectors of RAS, including of MEK and ERK, has limited clinical success in cancer patients with K‐RAS mutations. The reduced sensitivity of K‐RAS‐mutated cells to certain MEK inhibitors (MEKi) is associated with the feedback phosphorylation of MEK by C‐RAF and with the reactivation of mitogen‐activated protein kinase (MAPK) signaling. Here, we report that the RAF dimer inhibitors lifirafenib (BGB‐283) and compound C show a strong synergistic effect with MEKi, including mirdametinib (PD‐0325901) and selumetinib, in suppressing the proliferation of K‐RAS‐mutated non‐small‐cell lung cancer and colorectal cancer (CRC) cell lines. This synergistic effect was not observed with the B‐RAFV600E selective inhibitor vemurafenib. Our mechanistic analysis revealed that RAF dimer inhibition suppresses RAF‐dependent MEK reactivation and leads to the sustained inhibition of MAPK signaling in K‐RAS‐mutated cells. This synergistic effect was also observed in several K‐RAS mutant mouse xenograft models. A pharmacodynamic analysis supported a role for the synergistic phospho‐ERK blockade in enhancing the antitumor activity observed in the K‐RAS mutant models. These findings support a vertical inhibition strategy in which RAF dimer and MEKi are combined to target K‐RAS‐mutated cancers, and have led to a Phase 1b/2 combination therapy study of lifirafenib and mirdametinib in solid tumor patients with K‐RAS mutations and other MAPK pathway aberrations.

Abstract
BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVE Human gingival fibrolasts aging is an important cause of periodontal disease. Phenytoin sodium (phenytoin) has a side effect of gingival hyperplasia and an effect on the autophagy progress. This study investigated whether the effect of phenytoin on aging gingival fibroblast is related to the autophagy pathway. MATERIAL AND METHODS The aging model of gingival fibroblast cell line HGF-1 was induced by hydrogen peroxide (H2 O2 ), and the treatment of phenytoin and 3-methyladenine (3-MA) was performed simultaneously. Cell viability, cell cycle, and intracellular calcium ion were measured by flow cytometry. Changes in expression of basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF), P16INK4A , P21cip1 , and bFGF, P16INK4A , P21cip1 , LC3II, p62, and Beclin were tested by using reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction, western blot, and immunofluorescence staining. RESULTS The results showed that aging HGF-1 proliferation was inhibited by H2 O2 , gene, protein expression of bFGF, P16INK4A , and P21cip1 were decreased, autophagy-related proteins LC3II, p62, and Becline were decreased, and the proportion of G0/G1 phase and intracellular calcium ion of cell cycle was increased. Phenytoin treatment could recovery above changes, but the effect of phenytoin could be blocked by 3-MA. CONCLUSION We propose that phenytoin alleviates the aging of gingival fibroblasts induced by H2 O2 . This condition is related to the enhancement of autophagy pathway.

Abstract
In this work, ZnO/C nanocomposites were obtained by calcining the prepared metal-organic framework precursor under nitrogen. The crystallinity and structure of the prepared products were characterized by XRD, FTIR, XPS and EDS. The morphologies of samples before and after calcination were observed by FESEM. The photocatalytic performances of ZnO/C were evaluated by the degradation of methylene blue under sunlight irradiation. Combined with DRS, PL and BET, the influence of calcination temperature on photocatalytic activities of as-synthesized zinc oxide were discussed as compared with commercial zinc oxide. The results indicated that ZnO/C composite obtained at 600 °C and 700 °C exhibited the superior adsorption capacity and photocatalytic activity. The possible photocatalytic mechanism of ZnO/C nanocomposite for degradation of MB under sunlight irradiation was proposed.

Abstract
Background:
This paper reviews the research progress of pyrazoloquinazolines which
widely used in the field of medicine and pesticide in recent years. Five types of
pyrazoloquinazolines are introduced: pyrazolo [4,3-h]quinazolines, pyrazolo[1,5-c]quinazolines,
pyrazolo[4,3-f]quinazolines, pyrazolo[1,5-a] quinazolines , pyrazolo[1,5-b]quinazolines, and their
new progress in the synthesis methods and treatment of diseases.
Methodology:
The derivatives of pyrazoloquinazolines exhibit a wide range of pharmacological
properties such as antibacterial, anticancer, antioxidants, anti-inflammatory, anti-diabetic, antiviral
activities. Consequently, their syntheses have attracted significant interest. Various methodologies
have been developed for the synthesis and functionalization of these class of compounds.
Conclusion:
In the present article, the relevant and recent advances in the field will be briefly
covered.
