Abstract
Objective: To understand the auditory cortex resting-state fMRI features for adult post-lingual deafness.Method: The author performed functional connectivity analysis on the study subjects with resting-state fMRI,the region of interest(ROI) of which were based separately on the left and right sides of primary auditory cortex. The data were collected from 8 cases with severe or above sensorineurally post-lingual deafness, compared to a control group of 8 cases with normal hearing. Result: When ROI were based on the left A1 areas of all subjects, the main activating area in the control group was bilateral superior temporal gyrus(STG), while the post-lingual deafness group included the bilateral STG, pre-central gyri, left Transverse temporal gyrus(TTG), post-central gyri and right TTG (P<0.01); when ROI were based on the right A1 areas of all subjects, the main activating area in the control group was the bilateral STG, while the post-lingual deafness group included the bilateral STG, right precentral gyri and post-central gyr i(P<0.01). The data showed statistical significance(P<0.05). Conclusion: After hearing loss functional reorganization takes place in the brains of adults with post-lingual deafness, resulting in possible enhancement of visual sense, tactile sense and other sensory systems in order to compensate information acquisition in daily life. .

Abstract
Precision measurements of cosmic ray positrons are presented up to 1 TeV based on 1.9 million positrons collected by the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer on the International Space Station. The positron flux exhibits complex energy dependence. Its distinctive properties are (a) a significant excess starting from 25.2±1.8 GeV compared to the lower-energy, power-law trend, (b) a sharp dropoff above 284_{-64}^{+91} GeV, (c) in the entire energy range the positron flux is well described by the sum of a term associated with the positrons produced in the collision of cosmic rays, which dominates at low energies, and a new source term of positrons, which dominates at high energies, and (d) a finite energy cutoff of the source term of E_{s}=810_{-180}^{+310} GeV is established with a significance of more than 4σ. These experimental data on cosmic ray positrons show that, at high energies, they predominantly originate either from dark matter annihilation or from other astrophysical sources.

Abstract
Objective:To explore the clinical diagnosis and treatment characteristics and clinical factors of extranodal NK/T-cell lymphoma, nasal type and provide the basis for clinical individual therapy and experience.Method:The 25 cases personal data of ENKTL received from December in 2009 to July in 2016 by our department including clinical manifestation, the serum EBV-DNA detection, imaging examination, Ann-Arbor staging, histological grade, treatment, and prognosis, etc. were retrospectively analyzed. All of the patients were pathological diagnosis and received standard, specification and system treatment. Single factor survival analysis was performed by Kaplan-Meier method and Log-rank test, and multivariate analysis was carried out using Coxproportional hazard model in the risk assessment about the factors affecting the prognosis of clinical.Result:Of the 25 patients, 15 cases(60%) were in stage ⅠE-ⅡE, which 1 year and 3 years (overall survival) OS were 100%, 100% respectively and 10 cases(40%) were in stage ⅢE-ⅣE, which 1 year and 3 years OS were respectively 40.0%, 26.7%. It had significant statistical difference (P= 0.000). Radiotherapy alone in 3 cases which 1 year and 3 years OS were respectively 100%, 100%;Chemotherapy alone in 6 cases, which 1 year and 3 years OS were 53.6% and 53.6%, respectively; 16 cases of comprehensive treatment combined radiation and chemotherapy which 1 year and 3 years OS are 84.6% and 84.6% respectively. There were significant difference between three kinds of treatment model (P= 0.027), and chemotherapy alone had the worst prognosis. Further multivariate analysis using Coxproportional hazard model showed that the course of the disease, B symptoms, EBV-DNA copy number positive, treatment mode closely associated with the prognosis (P were 0.006, 0.003, 0.010, 0.040 respectively). Conclusion:Extranodal NK/T-cell lymphoma, nasal type invasive is strong, the overall prognosis is poor. For early Ann Arbor staging, low risk and limited to the nasal cavity cases, radiotherapy alone curative effect is better. While for strong attack range or terminal patients, chemotherapy combined with radiotherapy is the first selection. In addition, this result shows that Ann Arbor staging, treatment pattern, the course of the disease, B symptoms, EBV-DNA copy number positive are independent prognostic factors.

Abstract
We present high-statistics, precision measurements of the detailed time and energy dependence of the primary cosmic-ray electron flux and positron flux over 79 Bartels rotations from May 2011 to May 2017 in the energy range from 1 to 50 GeV. For the first time, the charge-sign dependent modulation during solar maximum has been investigated in detail by leptons alone. Based on 23.5×10^{6} events, we report the observation of short-term structures on the timescale of months coincident in both the electron flux and the positron flux. These structures are not visible in the e^{+}/e^{-} flux ratio. The precision measurements across the solar polarity reversal show that the ratio exhibits a smooth transition over 830±30 days from one value to another. The midpoint of the transition shows an energy dependent delay relative to the reversal and changes by 260±30 days from 1 to 6 GeV.

Abstract
A precision measurement of the nitrogen flux with rigidity (momentum per unit charge) from 2.2 GV to 3.3 TV based on 2.2×10^{6} events is presented. The detailed rigidity dependence of the nitrogen flux spectral index is presented for the first time. The spectral index rapidly hardens at high rigidities and becomes identical to the spectral indices of primary He, C, and O cosmic rays above ∼700 GV. We observed that the nitrogen flux Φ_{N} can be presented as the sum of its primary component Φ_{N}^{P} and secondary component Φ_{N}^{S}, Φ_{N}=Φ_{N}^{P}+Φ_{N}^{S}, and we found Φ_{N} is well described by the weighted sum of the oxygen flux Φ_{O} (primary cosmic rays) and the boron flux Φ_{B} (secondary cosmic rays), with Φ_{N}^{P}=(0.090±0.002)×Φ_{O} and Φ_{N}^{S}=(0.62±0.02)×Φ_{B} over the entire rigidity range. This corresponds to a change of the contribution of the secondary cosmic ray component in the nitrogen flux from 70% at a few GV to <30% above 1 TV.

Abstract
We present the precision measurement from May 2011 to May 2017 (79 Bartels rotations) of the proton fluxes at rigidities from 1 to 60 GV and the helium fluxes from 1.9 to 60 GV based on a total of 1×10^{9} events collected with the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer aboard the International Space Station. This measurement is in solar cycle 24, which has the solar maximum in April 2014. We observed that, below 40 GV, the proton flux and the helium flux show nearly identical fine structures in both time and relative amplitude. The amplitudes of the flux structures decrease with increasing rigidity and vanish above 40 GV. The amplitudes of the structures are reduced during the time period, which started one year after solar maximum, when the proton and helium fluxes steadily increase. Above ∼3 GV the p/He flux ratio is time independent. We observed that below ∼3 GV the ratio has a long-term decrease coinciding with the period during which the fluxes start to rise.

Abstract
Deep eutectic solvents (DESs) are, at room temperature, about dozens to hundreds of times more viscous than water, which brings pretty thick residues on solid surfaces, for example, causing drag-out and weight loss in the transfer process. Unfortunately, until now little work had been done for solving this knotty problem. In this study, the super antiwetting surface, i.e., super-DES-phobic surface (defined as DES contact angle > 150°) is proposed and fabricated successfully by a facile coating technique. Hierarchical silver dendrites on copper foam substrate provide effective dual-roughness surfaces showing stable superDESphobicity. The superDESphobic surface can repel the DESs and their derived solutions even under elevated temperature of about 120 °C and the impact attack of drops. It is also found that the superDESphobic surface can significantly delay the DESs freezing and reduce the adhesion strength of the frozen DESs. Interestingly, the superDESphobic surface can be applied as an effective tool for gauging the density of DES using an ∼2 μL droplet in virtue of its super antiwetting property. The super antiwetting surfaces show promise for potential applications in DES self-cleaning and antifreezing.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Although O(6)-methylguanine DNA methyltransferase (MGMT) promoter methylation status is an important marker for glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), there is considerable variability in the clinical outcome of patients with similar methylation profles. OBJECTIVE We examined whether a MicroRNA (miRNA) signature can be identified for predicting clinical outcomes and helping in treatment decisions. METHODS The differentially expressed miRNAs were evaluated in 6 pairs of short- (⩽ 450 days) and long-term survivors (> 450 days) by using microarray. Real time quantitative PCR (qRT-PCR) was applied to further verify screened miRNAs with a greater number of samples (n= 48). Meanwhile, functional interpretation of miRNA profile was carried out based on miRNA-target databases. In addition, MGMT promoter methylation status was tested by means of pyrosequencing (PSQ) testing. RESULTS Six miRNAs were upregulated in the long-term survival group (fold change ⩾ 2.0, P< 0.05). The further verification by qRT-PCR indicated that the increase in let-7g-5p, miR-139-5p, miR-17-5p and miR-9-3p level in long-term survivors was statistically significant. Kaplan-Meier survival analysis showed that high expression of a prognostic 4-miRNA signature was significantly associated with good patient survival (p= 0.0012). The signature regulated signaling pathways including Calcium, MAPK, ErbB, mTOR and cell cycle involved in carcinogenesis from glial progenitor cell to primary GBM. CONCLUSIONS The 4-miRNA signature was identified as an independent prognostic biomarker that identified patients who have a favorable outcome.

Abstract
Objective: To observe the efficacy of the combination of chemotherapy and Ginseng Rg3 on advanced non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC). Methods: In the multi-center, large-sample, randomized, double blind trial, 414 patients with Ⅲ-Ⅳ NSCLC were enrolled.199 were in the experimental group and 215 the control group. The patients in the experimental group were treated with the standard first-line chemotherapy combined with Ginseng Rg3. The patients in the control group were treated with the same chemotherapy combined with placebo. Median overall survival (OS), Karnofsky performance scale (KPS), Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) symptoms score and side effects of two groups were observed as main indexes. Results: The median OS were 12.03 months in the experimental group, which was significantly better than that in the control group (8.46 months, P<0.05). Hemoglobin and white blood cells were decreased after the first and second cycle of treatment in both groups. Both adverse events were significantly milder in the treatment group (P<0.05). In addition, after two courses of treatment, the KPS of patients was 78.95±9.14 in the experimental group and 76.77±9.15 in the control group, while the TCM symptoms score was 2.45±1.73 in the experimental group and 2.92±2.06 in the control group, with significant difference (P<0.05). Conclusions: Combination of TCM with Western medicine such as chemotherapy could prolong the survival of patients with advanced NSCLC. The combined therapy improved patients' symptoms and reduced chemotherapy induced myelosuppression.

Abstract
This study was conducted to determine the antibiotic and screening resistance genes of Escherichia coli (E. coli) isolated from diarrheal yak calves from high remote plateau in Sichuan, China. A total 41 rectal swabs were obtained from diarrheal yak calves. E. coli were isolated and identified. The antimicrobial sensitivity was tested by piloting the disk diffusion method for 21 antibiotics. Polymerase chain reaction was employed to detect the resistance genes. The results showed that the drug resistance ranged from 2.4% (amikacin) to 53.7% (tetracycline), while no isolates were found resistant to neomycin and polymyxin B. Multi-drug resistance was detected in 4.9% isolates to 17 antimicrobial agents; and 24.4% isolates were found susceptible to all antimicrobial agents. The aminoglycoside resistance genes of aac(3)-lla, ant(3')-la and aph(3')-lla was positive in 4.9%, 2.1% and 7.3% E. coli isolates respectively. The 4.9% and 2.1% of E. coli isolates were detected in b-Lactam resistance genes of TEM and CTX-M, respectively; and 12.2% and 4.9% of E. coli isolates were found to have Tetracycline resistance genes of tetM and tetA, respectively. The present study reveals that the yak calves from high cold plateau are potential reservoir of E. coli with widely distributed multiple drug resistance which requires the attention of concerned authorities regarding the use of non-standard antibiotics.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the situation of hip dislocation with the application of "femur first" principle and "combined anteversion technique" during total hip arthroplasty. Methods: A retrospective analysis has been done on the clinical data about 104 patients(133 hips)who were diagnosed as hip disease and were treated with total hip arthroplasty by the doctors from the Department of Joint Orthorpaedics of Shandong Provincial Hospital Affiliated to Shandong University from June 2014 to June 2016, and all the prostheses applied in the operation were cementless ones.Among them, 65 patients were males, 39 females and their age was 46.6 years (ranging from 23 to 76 years) .And 29 of them underwent bilateral hip operations and 75 unilateral ones.Seventy-six cases of aseptic necrosis of the femoral head in the terminal stage, 28 cases of hip dysplasia and osteoarthritis.Surgical approach: of all the operations, 103 hips were operated on with hardinge approach, 30 with posterolateral approach.During the operation, first of all, the femoral medullary cavity was broached and then the anteversion of intramedullary broacher was measured. After that, the anteversion of the acetabular cup was calculated as 37° minus the anteversion of the broacher, and the acetabular cup was implanted at that angle. The patients' prosthesis combined anteversion, range of motion of the hip joint, operation time, hemorrhage amount, and complications had been kept record. One, three, and six months respectively after the operation, all the patients received outpatient review, and took anteroposterior and lateral position X-ray examination.Harris hip score had been applied to evaluate their hip function before the operation and six months after the operation. Results: All the patients had been operated on smoothly, with the operation time of(57.6±14.5)minutes(36-115 minutes)and hemorrhage amount of (336.5±50.8)ml(180-620 ml). The operation finding showed that the combined anteversion by employing"femur first"principle and combined anteversion techniqueis was (36.6±6.8)°. Also, range of motion of the patients' hip conforms to the D'Lima criterion and no patients had experienced dislocation and some other serious complications. The follow-up ended at August 2017, which lasted for 12.2 months(6-18 months), and 88 cases(119 hips) were interviewed. The Harris hip score for the affected sides of the hip joints 6 months after the surgery was 94.6(86-100). Compared with the score of 29.8(12-43) before surgery, the t-test had proven its statistical significance(t=12.82, P=0.003). Conclusion: Based upon the "femoral first" principle and "combined anteversion technique" during total hip arthroplasty, these operations has been carried out well enough to meet the patients' needs of performing normal daily activities.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the correlation between ultrasonographic features of papillary thyroid carcinoma and central cervical lymph node metastasis. Methods: We retrospectively analyzed 486 patients with papillary thyroid carcinoma(PTC), pathologically confirmed after surgery in Tianjin Medical University Cancer Institute & Hospital. All patients were divided into central cervical lymph node metastasis group and non-metastasis group. No lateral cervical lymph node metastasis was found in preoperative ultrasonography and postoperative pathology. The characteristics of the ultrasound was observed and analyzed. Results: 297 out of 486 patients with papillary thyroid carcinomahad central metastasis, and the other 189 cases did not. Take pathology results as a standard, the sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, negative predictive value and accuracy rate of preoperative ultrasound diagnosis in PTC patients with central cervical lymph node metastasis were 35.3%, 88.6%, 83.2%, 47.4%, 56.6%, respectively. Univariate analysis showed that multi-focus, taller-than-wide, diameter>1 cm, located in the lower pole, ill-defined margin, hypoechogenicity, micro-calcification, capsule invasion more than 1/4 perimeter of papillary thyroid carcinoma were significantly associated with central cervical lymph node metastasis (all P<0.05). Multivariate analysis showed that diameter>1 cm, micro-calcification, capsule invasion more than 1/4 perimeter of papillary thyroid carcinoma became independent risk factors of central cervical neck lymph node metastasis (all P<0.05). Conclusions: Preoperative description of ultrasonographical features has important value to assess central cervical lymph node metastasis in patients with papillary thyroid carcinoma. More information could be provided for clinical treatment. When the papillary thyroid carcinoma presented as diameter>1 cm, micro-calcification, and capsule invasion more than 1/4 perimeter of, there will be a greater risk of central cervical lymph node metastasis, and we shall suggest prophylactic central lymph cervical node dissection.

Abstract
Objective: To optimize the clinical managements of primary fetal hydrothorax (PFHT) fetus by comparing the perinatal survival rate of different prenatal treatments. Methods: Totally 13 fetuses diagnosed with PFHT from July 2009 to December 2015 in the First Affiliated Hospital of Jinan University were collected and received prenatal expectant treatment, thoracocentesis (TC), and thoraco-amniotic shunting (TAS), respectively. The perinatal survival rate was compared among the three treatments. Results: Among 13 fetuses of PFHT, pleural effusion was absorbed or remained stable in 2(2/13) cases, and progressed in 11(11/13) cases. Six cases received expectant treatment (2 cases had termination of pregnancy due to progressing effusion, 2 cases had term delivery, and 2 cases had intrauterine death); the perinatal survival rate was 2/6. Six cases received TC (2 cases had term delivery, 2 cases had preterm delivery, and 2 cases had termination of pregnancy due to progressing effusion), the perinatal survival rate was 4/6. One case received TC+TAS (term delivery), the perinatal survival rate was 1/1. The overall perinatal survival rate of prenatal intrauterine intervention was 5/7. Conclusions: The clinical process of PFHT is changeable, and the pleural effusion will progress with gestational age. Intrauterine interventions could improve the perinatal survival rate.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the effects of denatured collagen type Ⅰ on differentiation of human fibroblasts into myofibroblasts. Methods: A small amount of normal skin donated by burn patients undergoing scar surgery was collected. Human fibroblasts were obtained by method of explant culture and then sub-cultured. The fourth passage of cells were used in the following experiments. (1) Fibroblasts were divided into normal collagen group and denatured collagen group according to the random number table, with 10 wells in each group. Fibroblasts in normal collagen group were cultured on normal collagen type Ⅰ coated coverslips. Fibroblasts in denatured collagen group were cultured on denatured type Ⅰ collagen coated coverslips. Expression of proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA) was detected by immunohistochemical method, and the percentage of PCNA positive cells was calculated. (2) Another batch of fibroblasts were grouped and treated as in (1), with 12 wells in each group. Proliferation activity of cells was determined with methyl-thiazolyl-tetrazolium colorimetry method. (3) Another batch of fibroblasts were grouped and treated as in (1), and the microfilament morphology of cells was observed by rhodamine-phalloidin staining. (4) Another batch of fibroblasts were grouped and treated as in (1). Expression of α smooth muscle actin (α-SMA) of cells was detected by immunohistochemical method, and expression of OB-cadherin of cells was detected by immunofluorescence method. (5) Another batch of fibroblasts were divided into normal collagen, denatured collagen, and common coverslips groups according to the random number table, with 6 wells in each group. Fibroblasts in normal collagen and denatured collagen groups were treated as in (1), while fibroblasts in common coverslips group were cultured on coverslips without collagen coating. Expressions of α-SMA and OB-cadherin of cells were determined with Western blotting. (6) Another batch of fibroblasts were grouped and treated as in (5), and then the mRNA expressions of collagen type Ⅰ, collagen type Ⅲ, and α-SMA of cells were determined with real-time fluorescent quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction. Data were processed with t test, one way analysis of variance, and least-significant difference test. Results: (1) The percentage of PCNA positive cells in denatured collagen group was (83±9)%, significantly higher than (29±9)% in normal collagen group (t=13.53, P<0.01). (2) The proliferation activity of fibroblasts in denatured collagen group was 0.32±0.06, significantly higher than 0.25±0.05 in normal collagen group (t=3.06, P<0.01). (3) The microfilament of fibroblasts in normal collagen group was arranged vertically and in parallel way, paralleling the long axis of cells. The microfilament of fibroblasts in denatured collagen group was denser and thicker. (4) Most fibroblasts in normal collagen group showed long shuttle-like shape typically. Morphology of fibroblasts in denatured collagen group changed, and cells were obviously spreading. Expressions of α-SMA and OB-cadherin of fibroblasts in denatured collagen group were stronger than those in normal collagen group. (5) Expressions of α-SMA of fibroblasts in denatured collagen, normal collagen, and common coverslips groups were respectively 1.69±0.41, 0.89±0.27, and 1.46±0.42. Expression of α-SMA of fibroblasts in denatured collagen group was significantly higher than that in normal collagen group (P<0.01). Expressions of OB-cadherin of fibroblasts in denatured collagen, normal collagen, and common coverslips groups were respectively 5.17±0.28, 2.21±0.10, and 4.01±0.56. Expression of OB-cadherin of fibroblasts in denatured group was significantly higher than that in normal collagen group (P<0.01). (6) There was no significant difference in mRNA expression of collagen type Ⅰ of fibroblasts in denatured collagen, normal collagen, and common coverslips groups (F=2.71, P>0.05). The mRNA expressions of collagen type Ⅲ and α-SMA of fibroblasts in normal collagen group were significantly lower than those in denatured collagen group (P<0.01). Conclusions: Denatured collagen type Ⅰ may influence the activity of fibroblasts, thus inducing fibroblasts differentiating into myofibroblasts.

Abstract
We report on the observation of new properties of secondary cosmic rays Li, Be, and B measured in the rigidity (momentum per unit charge) range 1.9 GV to 3.3 TV with a total of 5.4×10^{6} nuclei collected by AMS during the first five years of operation aboard the International Space Station. The Li and B fluxes have an identical rigidity dependence above 7 GV and all three fluxes have an identical rigidity dependence above 30 GV with the Li/Be flux ratio of 2.0±0.1. The three fluxes deviate from a single power law above 200 GV in an identical way. This behavior of secondary cosmic rays has also been observed in the AMS measurement of primary cosmic rays He, C, and O but the rigidity dependences of primary cosmic rays and of secondary cosmic rays are distinctly different. In particular, above 200 GV, the secondary cosmic rays harden more than the primary cosmic rays.

Abstract
Based on boronate formation, this study reports a post-targeting methodology capable of readily installing versatile targeting modules onto a cargo-loaded nanoplatform in aqueous mediums. This permits the targeted nanodelivery of broad-spectrum therapeutics (drug/gene) in a ready-to-use manner while overcoming the PEGylation-dilemma that frequently occurs in conventional targeting approaches.

Abstract
The current study was performed to investigate the prevalence, associated risk factors exploration and phylogenetic analysis of Echinococcus granulosus (E. granulosus) genotypes isolated from Tibetan pigs. A total 373 Tibetan pigs were examined during 2014 and 2015, and the variables potentially associated with E. granulosus infection were explored with a multivariable logistic regression model. E. granulosus cysts (n=37) were collected from Tibetan pigs (lungs or livers). Fragments amplification of mitochondrial (mt) DNA of cox1 (shorter and longer) and atp6 were employed. The genotype of E. granulosus were identified by sequence and phylogenetic analysis. Results showed the prevalence of E. granulosus in Tibetan pigs was 9.9%. The prevalence of E. granulosus in male and female Tibetan pigs was 6.8% and 13.3%, with a significant difference in the two genders (P<0.05). In different seasons, the infection rate of E. granulosus in Tibetan pigs were ranged from 5.8% to 12.3%. E. granulosus infection rates in different growing stages of Tibetan pigs were ranged from 4.4% to 15.9%, with a statistical difference in the three stages (P<0.01). The prevalence of E. granulosus in Tibetan pigs were 7.9% in 2014 and 13.0% in 2015. Genders and growing stages were demonstrated to be risk factors to influence the prevalence significantly through multivariable logistic regression model. All the three fragments were successfully amplified from each of the 37 cysts. E. granulosus genotypes of G4 and G6 were identified by comparing with reference sequences of E. genotypes available at NCBI database and phylogenetic analysis by using MEGA software.

Abstract
Ascaris is a helminthic parasite, which infects a wide range of host species causing ascariasis, a predominant disease worldwide. This parasite causes significant economic losses to the pig industry. The current study was designed to determine the Ascaris nematode by the genetic characterization of three mitochondrial (mt) genes namely NADH dehydrogenase subunit 1 (nad1), cytochrome oxidase subunit 1 (cox1) and cytochrome oxidase subunit 2 (cox2). A high infection rate of Ascaris nematode has been found in Tibetan pigs at the slaughter houses in Tibet Autonomous Region of China. The nad1, cox1 and cox2 genes sequences collected from adult Ascaris individuals were amplified by polymerase chain reaction. The cloned-amplicons and the positive products were sequenced and phylogenetic analysis was performed. The results indicated that the Ascaris infecting the Tibetan pigs were Ascaris suum (A. suum). This is the first report on the isolation, identification and genetic characterization of three mitochondrial genomes (nad1, cox1, and cox2) of A. suum originated from Tibetan pigs at high altitudes in Tibet.

Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the reliability and validity of the Chinese version of the uterine fibroid symptom and health-related quality of life (UFS-QOL) in patients with uterine fibroid. Methods: The original English UFS-QOL was translated into Chinese and linguistically validated following the cross-cultural adaptation of health-related quality of life measures. Patients recruited randomly from Peking Union Medical College Hospital from June 2013 to December 2016 were scheduled for two visits with 2 weeks apart, and they were surveyed through the Chinese version of UFS-QOL and short-form 12-item health survey (SF-12). The reliability and validity of the Chinese version of UFS-QOL were evaluated. Results: A total of 190 uterine fibroid patients who met the criteria participated this study. The Chinese version of UFS-QOL had a high internal consistency (Cronbach's α, uterine fibroid symptom severity scale:0.912, health-related quality of life scale: 0.976) and high test-retest reliability (intraclass correlation coefficient, 0.572-0.951, P<0.01). The symptom severity scores and SF-12 scores were negatively correlated (r=-0.813, P<0.01); the health-related quality of life scores and SF-12 scores were positively correlated (r=0.620, P<0.01). The factor analysis showed good construct validity. Conclusion: Psychometric testing supports the reliability and validity of the Chinese version of UFS-QOL as an disease-specific measure of health-related quality of life.

Abstract
Objective:To study the variation of the electrode impedance in different periods after cochlear implantation performed with round window insertion in steroid deposition, and to provide the basis for the postoperative debugging of the speech processor. Method:Detected the electrode impedance of 47 cochlear receivers after operation in steroid deposition from September 2014 to October 2015, compared the impedance values between different periods, and different groups according to their locations. Result:The average impedance of all the electrodes and the 3 subgroups are low after implantation (period A0), peaked at the first month (period A1), then decreased slowly, and then turned to be stable at the sixth month (period A3); the impedance values were no significantly different between the sixth month (period A3) and the twelfth month (period A4) while were significantly different between each of other two periods (P<0.05); the apical group had the highest impedance and the basal group had the lowest impedance in all the 5 periods. Conclusion:The local use of steroid can decrease the impedance of the electrode after implantation. The impedance value were the low during operation, peaked at the first month, then decreased slowly, and turned to be stable at the sixth month. As a result, the cochlear implant should be debugged at regular intervals in 6 months after operation to obtain the best hearing status.

Abstract
Doubling method is the technical barriers in maize haploid breeding. It was very important to establish the independent intellectual property rights for doubling method. In this experiment, the maize haploid inducer, TG15, was used for producing maternal haploids. Also, haploids were obtained from two kinds of maternal genotypes involved in the experiment, including high-oil type and common type. Significant differences were observed among offspring of various genotypes in the recovery of haploid fertilization. In 21 hybrid offspring haploids, the average powder rate was 8.28%, and the seed setting rate was 4.98%. The experimental results showed that when the hybrids were treated with 0.08% colchicine, the average powder rate and seed setting rate of offspring haploids were 35.53 and 20.30%, respectively, which were significantly higher than the hybrids with natural recovery ability. This study primarily established the doubling method of haploids called "bud seedling method" in China which was very practicably in maize doubled haploid breeding.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the effect of wearing long wavelength filter glasses on refractive development of children's hyperopia. Methods: Case control study. Seventeen 5-7 years' old children with high hyperopia from optometry clinic of Eye and ENT Hospital Affiliated to Fudan University were enrolled in this research. The experiment design was self-control between right and left eye, 3 children were lost during two years' period of observation, all the children's hyperopic refraction were more than +6.00 D, cycloplegic by 1% atropine. All the children were required to wear long wavelength filter glasses for 6 hours after waking up, the rest of the time with the conventional glasses. Refraction, axis and red/green match point were tested before the intervention and 3, 6, 12, 18, 24 months, after the intervention. Results: After two years' intervention, hyperopia decreased, eye axis increased, the best corrected visual acuity increased both in experimental eyes and control eyes, but there were no statistically significant difference between the two groups at each time point. All children were with normal color vision, compared to the long-wavelength light, the hyperopic eyes were more sensitive to middle-wavelength light, no significant difference was found between two groups, red/green match points were 42.802±1.216 and 42.889±1.560 respectively. After wearing long wavelength filter, red/green match point were significant decreased in the experimental group in 6 months and 12 months time points (6 months: 0.995±0. 543 vs. 0.104±0.143, t=3.04, P=0.005, 12 months: 1.096±0.392 vs. 0.17±0.248, t=2.725, P=0.008). The experiment eyes were more sensitive to long-wavelength light than the control eyes. But in later time, there was no significant difference between two groups. Conclusion: Wearing long wavelength filter glasses two years has no effect on refractive development on children with high hyperopia, but it can cause short-term chromatic adaptation, making hyperopic eyes more sensitive to the long-wavelength light.
