Abstract
In this study, an online transfer TSK fuzzy classifier O-T-TSK-FC is proposed for recognizing epilepsy signals. Compared with most of the existing transfer learning models, O-T-TSK-FC enjoys its merits from the following three aspects: 1) Since different patients often response to the same neuronal firing stimulation in different neural manners, the labeled data in the source domain cannot accurately represent the primary EEG data in the target domain. Therefore, we design an objective function which can integrate with subject-specific data in the target domain to induce the target predictive function. 2) A new regularization used for knowledge transfer is proposed from the perspective of error consensus, and its rationality is explained from the perspective of probability density estimation. 3) Clustering is used to partition source domains so as to reduce the computation of O-T-TSK-FC without affecting its performance. Based on the EEG signals collected from Bonn University, six different online scenarios for transfer learning are constructed. Experimental results on them show that O-T-TSK-FC performs better than benchmarking algorithms and robustly.

Abstract
A solid state terahertz interferometer has been developed on the recent commissioned HL-2M tokamak. It can work in a wide frequency region of 220-325 GHz, and the terahertz wave is generated from a low frequency phase locked voltage controlled oscillator with the frequency multiplying technique. A phase processor based on field programmable gate array (FPGA) technology is designed for the heterodyne interferometer, and it contributes to real-time display of electron density. To extract phase information, a novel numerical algorithm related to fast Fourier transform is written on the FPGA chip and enables one to obtain phase shift without being affected by amplitude variation induced by plasma absorption or frequency modulation from the outer electromagnetic environment. The interferometer achieves minimum measurable electron density in the order of 1016 m-3. With the plasma diagnosis, electron density and low frequency tearing mode have been measured during the first experimental campaign.

Abstract
Due to climate variation and global warming, utilization of renewable energy becomes increasingly imperative. Rechargeable potassium-ion batteries (PIBs) have lately attracted much attention due to their earth-abundance and cost-effectiveness. Because soft carbon materials are cheap, abundant, and safe, extensive feasible research studies have indicated that they could become promising anode materials for PIBs. In spite of gaining achievements, fundamental questions regarding effects of the basic structure unit inside soft carbon on potassium storage potential have not been sufficiently addressed yet. Here, a series of soft carbon pyrolyzed from 900 to 2900 °C were systematically and quantitatively characterized by combining Raman spectroscopy, near-edge X-ray absorption fine structure (NEXAFS) spectroscopy, X-ray pair distribution function analysis, and advanced evaluation of wide-angle X-ray scattering data. All these characterizations reveal structural details of soft carbon with increasing pyrolysis temperature. Our results show that the potassium storage behavior, especially the potential plateau is closely correlated to non-uniformity in interlayer distance and defect concentration in soft carbon, which is further confirmed by reverse Monte Carlo (RMC) modeling and density functional theory calculation. On the basis of these results, optimizing strategies are discussed to design an advanced soft carbon anode. This work provides significant insights into the structure engineering of soft carbon for high-performance rechargeable PIBs.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the clinicopathological features, molecular genetics, treatment and prognosis of Burkitt-like lymphoma with 11q aberration (BLL-11q). Methods: Six cases of BLL-11q diagnosed at the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University, from January 2016 to January 2020 were reviewed and analyzed using hematoxylin-eosin staining, immunohistochemistry, EBER in situ hybridization and fluorescence in situ hybridization. Clinical information including follow-up data was collected and analyzed. Results: The median age of the six immunocompetent patients was 29 years (range 20-38 years) and the male to female ratio was 5∶1. All patients had nodal disease in the head and neck region. Five patients had Ann Arbor stage Ⅰ-Ⅱ disease, while one patient had stage Ⅳ disease. Lymph nodes showed partial or total architectural effacement by a diffuse proliferation of monomorphic lymphocytes. Four cases were morphologically similar to Burkitt lymphoma, and two cases were unclassified with histological features between Burkitt lymphoma and diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. Mitotic figures, apoptosis and necrosis were conspicuous. Five cases exhibited the"starry sky"pattern. CD20, CD10 and bcl-6 were diffusely and strongly positive. The Ki-67 index was more than 95%. The follicular-dendritic-cell meshwork was noted in one case using CD21 stain. C-MYC was expressed variably. CD3, bcl-2, MUM-1, CD30 and TDT were negative in all cases. EBER in situ hybridization was also all negative. FISH analyses using C-MYC, bcl-2 and bcl-6 break-apart probes were all negative. All cases had the 11q23.3 gain/11q24.3 loss pattern, and 11q23.3 amplification was found in one case. IgH and IRF4 break-apart probes analysis was also negative. All patients were alive with no disease after a follow-up of 4 to 19 months. Conclusion: BLL-11q is a rare lymphoma that resembles Burkitt lymphoma morphologically and phenotypically, but lacks C-MYC gene rearrangements. Instead, it has a chromosome-11q alteration characterized by proximal gains and telomeric losses. It's necessary to improve our understanding of BLL-11q to avoid misdiagnosis and missed diagnosis.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the clinicopathological features and differential diagnosis of primary cutaneous nasal extranodal NK/T cell lymphoma (pcENKTCL-NT). Methods: Fifteen cases of pcENKTCL-NT were collected at the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from January 2016 to December 2019. The clinical characteristics, morphological features, immunophenotypes, and results of in situ hybridization and gene detection were analyzed. Results: Among the 15 patients, 7 were male and 8 were female, with a male to female ratio of 1.0∶1.1. Their ages ranged from 29 to 86 years, and the median age was 59.3 years. All patients were hospitalized for skin lesions, including skin ulcers, scattered patchy red papules, and local blisters. The skin lesion might be a hard nodular mass, and part of it was a confluent patchy erythema; it could be manifested as multiple scattered nodules of different sizes, and some lesions were like round ulceration. There were 8 cases of lower limbs, 4 cases of chest (1 case with upper limb lesions), 2 cases of trunk and 1 case of neck. Most of the patients were sensitive to GGDP regimen (cisplatin, dexamethasone, gemcitabine and pemostatin). Histologically, most lesions showed tumor cells invading the epidermis and skin appendages, dermal infiltration, diffuse distribution, vascular and peritubular destruction, and some subcutaneous adipose tissue involvement. Morphologically, most of the tumor cells were mixed with small-to medium-size lymphocytes, and some were large cells, mixed cells or small cells. Immunohistochemistry showed that CD3, CD3 ε and TIA-1 were expressed in all cases, but not CD20 and CD8. CD56 and granzyme B were expressed in most of the cases, and CD5 was not expressed. Ki-67 positive index was about 50%-90%. EBV in situ hybridization was positive in all cases. The clonal rearrangement of T cell receptor gene was found in some CD56 negative cases. The 15 patients were followed up for 5-45 months, and one of them was lost to follow-up. Five patients died within 5-13 months after the diagnosis, accounting for 35.7% (5/14) of the 14 patients. The average survival time of the deceased patients was 8.6 months. Conclusions: The incidence rate of pcENKTCL-NT is relatively low, but its biological behavior is aggressive and its prognosis is overall poor. Its skin lesions and histopathological features are relatively diverse. The diagnosis should be determined with using clinical data, histological morphology, immunophenotype and EB virus in situ hybridization. At the same time, attention should be paid to differential diagnosis from other cutaneous lymphoma with cytotoxic phenotype to avoid missed diagnosis and misdiagnosis.

Abstract
The measurement of the energy spectrum of cosmic ray helium nuclei from 70 GeV to 80 TeV using 4.5 years of data recorded by the Dark Matter Particle Explorer (DAMPE) is reported in this work. A hardening of the spectrum is observed at an energy of about 1.3 TeV, similar to previous observations. In addition, a spectral softening at about 34 TeV is revealed for the first time with large statistics and well controlled systematic uncertainties, with an overall significance of 4.3σ. The DAMPE spectral measurements of both cosmic protons and helium nuclei suggest a particle charge dependent softening energy, although with current uncertainties a dependence on the number of nucleons cannot be ruled out.

Abstract
Enhancing the solar energy storage and power delivery afforded by emerging molten salt-based technologies requires a fundamental understanding of the complex interplay between structure and dynamics of the ions in the high-temperature media. Here we report results from a comprehensive study integrating synchrotron X-ray scattering experiments, ab initio molecular dynamics simulations and rate theory concepts to investigate the behavior of dilute Cr3+ metal ions in a molten KCl-MgCl2 salt. Our analysis of experimental results assisted by a hybrid transition state-Marcus theory model reveals unexpected clustering of chromium species leading to the formation of persistent octahedral Cr-Cr dimers in the high-temperature low Cr3+ concentration melt. Furthermore, our integrated approach shows that dynamical processes in the molten salt system are primarily governed by the charge density of the constituent ions, with Cr3+ exhibiting the slowest short-time dynamics. These findings challenge several assumptions regarding specific ionic interactions and transport in molten salts, where aggregation of dilute species is not statistically expected, particularly at high temperature.

Abstract
This study aimed to explore the effect of the immunopotentiator CVC1302 on foot-and-mouth disease (FMD) vaccination in animals placed under oxidative stress. We established oxidative stress models using porcine circovirus type 2 (PCV2)-infected PK-15 cells and mice model both in vitro and in vivo, respectively. The efficacy of CVC1302 on PK-15 cells or in addition to the FMD vaccine was evaluated by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction, histopathological and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) analysis. CVC1302 affected apoptosis of PCV2-infected PK-15 cells and significantly inhibited PCV2 replication, while it had no effect on the viability for blank PK-15 cell in vitro test with varying dilutions of CVC1302. Results showed that PCV2 induced a strong oxidative stress response in mice. CVC1302 reduced the viral load in spleen of PCV2-infected mice and ameliorated the pathological injury of spleen. Furthermore, CVC1302 significantly increased IgG antibody titer, cytokine expression, superoxide dismutase activity, catalase concentrations, and glutathione content in mice immunized with FMD vaccine. In conclusion, CVC1302 inhibits PCV2 replication and regulates oxidative stress in PCV2-infected mice, which can improve the immune efficacy of the FMD vaccine, providing a safe and effective immune enhancement.

Abstract
Different home textile patterns have different emotional expressions. Emotion evaluation of home textile patterns can effectively improve the retrieval performance of home textile patterns based on semantics. It can not only help designers make full use of existing designs and stimulate creative inspiration but also help users select designs and products that are more in line with their needs. In this study, we develop a three-stage framework for home textile pattern emotion labeling based on artificial intelligence. To be specific, first of all, three kinds of aesthetic features, i.e., shape, texture, and salient region, are extracted from the original home textile patterns. Then, a CNN (convolutional neural network)-based deep feature extractor is constructed to extract deep features from the aesthetic features acquired in the previous stage. Finally, a novel multi-view classifier is designed to label home textile patterns that can automatically learn the weight of each view. The three-stage framework is evaluated by our data and the experimental results show its promising performance in home textile patterns labeling.

Abstract
A toroidal soft x-ray array system for spectrum and intensity measurements on the EXL-50 spherical tokamak is described. Silicon drift detectors and digital multichannel analyzers are adopted for all 21 channels of the array, and an average energy resolution of 147 eV at 5.89 keV has been achieved at count rates over 500 kcps. In total, 20 channels of the array are symmetrically observed in both co- and counter-current directions on the EXL-50 mid-plane with a spatial resolution of around 10 cm, and the remaining one serves as a background reference channel. Tungsten emissions from tungsten coating of the limiters on the central post are observed. The influence of hard x rays on measured soft x-ray spectra and system operation is discussed.

Abstract
A series of Eu3+ and Tb3+ singly doped Ba3YB3O9 phosphors were synthesized by a solution combustion approach. The most luminescent phosphors were selected as the starting materials to fabricate phosphor ceramic plates (PCPs). More intense red and green emission is observed from the PCPs than the corresponding phosphors. The emission colour can be effectively tuned by varying the mass ratio of the red and green phosphors and the excitation wavelength. White light emission was obtained by incorporating the blue-emitting Eu2+ doped BaMgAl10O17 phosphor into the PCP component. The synthesized phosphors and PCPs show robust thermal stability, maintaining more than 80% of emission intensity at 423 K of that at 298 K after a long time operation. The results indicate that the prepared red and green PCPs are promising candidates for high-power wLED applications.

Here we report the first examples of pyrochlore HEOs with five M-site cations, for Nd2M2O7, in which the local structure has been investigated by neutron diffraction and pair distribution function (PDF) analysis. The average structure of the pyrochlores is found to be orthorhombic Imma, in agreement with radius-ratio rules governing the structural archetype. The computed PDFs from density functional theory relaxed special quasirandom structure models are compared with real space PDFs in this work to evaluate M-site order/disorder. Reverse Monte Carlo combined with ab initio molecular dynamics and Metropolis Monte Carlo simulations demonstrates that Nd2(Ta0.2Sc0.2Sn0.2Hf0.2Zr0.2)2O7 is synthesized with its M-site local to nanoscale order highly randomized/disordered, while Nd2(Ti0.2Nb0.2Sn0.2Hf0.2Zr0.2)2O7+x exhibits a strong distortion of the TiO6 octahedron and small degree of Ti chemical short-range order (SRO) on the subnanometer scale. Calculations suggest that this may be intrinsic, energetically favored SRO rather than due to sample processing. These results offer an important demonstration that the engineered variation of participating ions in HEOs, even among those with very similar radii, provides richly diverse opportunities to control local order/disorder motifs-and therefore materials properties for future designs. This work also hints at the exquisite level of detail that may be needed in computational and experimental data analysis to guide structure-property tuning in the emerging HEO materials class.

Abstract
Background: Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the most common histological type of liver cancer, with an unsatisfactory long-term survival rate. Despite immune checkpoint inhibitors for HCC have got glories in recent clinical trials, the relatively low response rate is still a thorny problem. Therefore, there is an urgent need to screen biomarkers of HCC to predict the prognosis and efficacy of immunotherapy. Methods: Gene expression profiles of HCC were retrieved from TCGA, GEO, and ICGC databases while the immune-related genes (IRGs) were retrieved from the ImmPort database. CIBERSORT and WGCNA algorithms were combined to identify the gene module most related to CD8+ T cells in the GEO cohort. Subsequently, the genes in hub modules were subjected to univariate, LASSO, and multivariate Cox regression analyses in the TCGA cohort to develop a risk signature. Afterward, the accuracy of the risk signature was validated by the ICGC cohort, and its relationships with CD8+ T cell infiltration and PDL1 expression were explored. Results: Nine IRGs were finally incorporated into a risk signature. Patients in the high-risk group had a poorer prognosis than those in the low-risk group. Confirmed by TCGA and ICGC cohorts, the risk signature possessed a relatively high accuracy. Additionally, the risk signature was demonstrated as an independent prognostic factor and closely related to the CD8+ T cell infiltration and PDL1 expression. Conclusion: A risk signature was constructed to predict the prognosis of HCC patients and detect patients who may have a higher positive response rate to immune checkpoint inhibitors.

Abstract
Air pollution may trigger systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). However, few studies have investigated the associations between air pollution and complications of SLE, such as lupus nephritis (LN). In this study, multicenter longitudinal data from 13 hospitals in China, including 8552 SLE patients with 24,762 visits, were used. Based on the generalized estimating equation (GEE) model, we assessed the associations of LN occurrence with short-term exposures to different air pollutants including particulate matter with an aerodynamic diameter < 2.5 μm (PM2.5), sulfur dioxide (SO2), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), carbon monoxide (CO), and ozone (O3). We identified 2672 LN patients, and about half of them were from east China. Our results based on the entire data set showed that PM2.5 and NO2 were risk factors for LN within one month after exposure, with odds ratio of 1.16 (95% confidence interval (CI), 1.08-1.19) at lag 18 day and 1.19 (95% CI, 1.12-1.26) at lag 16 day relative to an interquartile range (IQR) increase in PM2.5 and NO2, respectively. This positive association between LN and NO2 was also observed for south, west, and east China. In addition, we found that the short term exposure to CO and O3 was not generally associated with LN. Finally, the negative associations of LN with SO2 were found for the entire region and east China. Our results implied that SLE patients may gain the health benefits of air quality improvement in China. Our work also provided evidence that short-term variations in air pollution may trigger LN, and further studies are needed to confirm these findings and the potential pathogenic mechanisms should be explored.

Abstract
Background Pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PaC) patients with positive lymph nodes (PLNs) have a dismal prognosis and lack a specific prognostic stage. This study aimed to construct a nomogram for the prediction of overall survival (OS) in these patients. Methods A total of 1,340 patients screened from the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results database were included and randomly divided at a ratio of 7:3 into a training set (n=940) and an internal validation set (n=400). Cox regression analyses were conducted to select independent predictors in the training set, and a nomogram was constructed. The model was verified in the internal validation set and in an external validation set, which comprised 64 patients from a Chinese institute. Results Six independent prognostic factors (age at diagnosis, tumor grade, lymph node ratio, T stage, radiotherapy, and chemotherapy) were identified in PaC patients with PLNs and were entered into the nomogram. The final model had a higher C-index for predicting OS than the American Joint Committee on Cancer-8th edition staging system (training set: 0.658 vs. 0.546; internal validation set: 0.661 vs. 0.546; external validation set: 0.691 vs. 0.581). The 1-, 2-, and 3-year area under the receiver operating characteristic curve values indicated better discrimination power for the established nomogram with respect to the prediction of OS in the training, internal validation, and external validation sets than for the American Joint Committee on Cancer-8th edition staging system. Furthermore, the nomogram performed well in both calibration and decision curve analyses (DCA) of clinical applicability. OS in PaC patients with PLNs was significantly distinguished among the three risk groups stratified according to the nomogram score (P<0.001). Conclusions The well-calibrated nomogram was determined to be extremely efficient in predicting survival, and defining a high-risk population based on the nomogram score among PaC patients with PLNs after surgery.

Abstract
Reported here are the development and application of new capabilities in the RMCProfile software for structural refinements using the reverse Monte Carlo (RMC) method. An algorithm has been implemented to enable the use of arbitrary peak-shape functions in the modeling of Bragg diffraction patterns and instrumental resolution effects on total-scattering data. This capability eliminates the dependence of RMCProfile on preset functions, which are inadequate for data produced by some total-scattering instruments, e.g. NOMAD at the Spallation Neutron Source (SNS) at Oak Ridge, Tennessee, USA. The recently developed procedure for the instrument-resolution correction has been modified to improve its accuracy, which is critical for recovering nanoscale structure. The ability to measure fine details of local and nanoscale structures with high fidelity is required because such features are increasingly exploited in the design of materials with enhanced functional properties. The new methodology has been tested via RMC refinements of large-scale atomic configurations (distances up to 8 nm) for SrTiO3 using neutron total-scattering data collected on the Polaris and NOMAD time-of-flight powder diffractometers at the ISIS facility (Didcot, Oxfordshire, UK) and SNS, respectively. While the Polaris instrument is known to provide the high-quality data needed for RMC analysis, the similar and sound atomic configurations obtained from both instruments confirmed that the NOMAD data are also suitable for RMC refinements over a broad distance range.

Abstract
Background Spontaneous tumor rupture is a distinctive disease pattern in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). The application of hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC) in spontaneously ruptured hepatocellular carcinoma (srHCC) is debatable. Our study aimed to compare the long-term outcomes of srHCC vs. nrHCC and to test the role of postoperative HIPEC in patients with srHCC after hepatectomy. Methods From 2014 to 2018, PSM was performed to compare 57 patients who performed liver resection for srHCC and met the research criteria with 57 nrHCC patients selected from 446 consecutive patients. Then patients with srHCC were divided into two groups according to whether they underwent HIPEC after hepatectomy. Results After 1:1 PSM, the clinical characteristics of the patients with srHCC and nrHCC were comparable. In terms of long-term outcomes, the nrHCC group had significantly longer OS (P=0.026) and DFS (P<0.001) than the srHCC group. Of the 57 srHCC patients, the HIPEC group showed added complications compared to the non-HIPEC group, including an increased length of hospital stay and higher in-hospital costs. However, there were no significant differences in the metastatic patterns of these recurrent patients, and there was no statistically significant difference in DFS (P=0.28) or OS (P=0.56) between the two groups. Conclusions The prognosis of ruptured HCC patients were worse than those of non-ruptured HCC patients. HIPEC may not be a robust treatment for srHCC now.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Orderly G2/M transition in the cell cycle is controlled by the cyclin-dependent kinase 1/cyclin B (CDK1/CCNB) complex. We aimed to comprehensively investigate the roles of CDK1, CCNB1, and CCNB2 via multi-omics analysis and their relationships with immune infiltration in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). MATERIAL AND METHODS The transcriptional data and the epigenetic and genetic alterations of CDK1, CCNB1, and CCNB2, as well as their impacts on prognosis in HCC patients, were identified using multiple databases. The correlations between expression of these genes and immune infiltration in HCC were then explored using the TIMER database. RESULTS Overall, mRNA expression of CDK1, CCNB1, and CCNB2 was up-regulated in various tumor tissues including HCC. Higher expression of these genes was associated with poorer prognosis in HCC patients. Lower promoter methylation of these genes might cause higher expression levels in tumor tissues of HCC. Genetic alterations and several methylated-CpG sites in these genes were significantly associated with survival. Notably, expression levels of CDK1, CCNB1, and CCNB2 were positively correlated with infiltrating levels of CD4⁺ T cells, CD8⁺ T cells, neutrophils, macrophages, and dendritic cells in HCC. In addition, significant correlations between the expression of these genes and various immune markers in HCC, such as PD-1, PDL-1, and CTLA-4, were also observed. CONCLUSIONS CDK1, CCNB1, and CCNB2 are potential prognostic biomarkers and associated with immune cell infiltration in HCC. The genes may be utilized to predict the reaction of immunotherapy. Combining inhibitors of these genes with immunotherapy may improve the survival time of HCC patients.

Abstract
In the field of brain-computer interface (BCI), selecting efficient and robust features is very seductive for artificial intelligence (AI)-assisted clinical diagnosis. In this study, based on an embedded feature selection model, we construct a stacked deep structure for feature selection in a layer-by-layer manner. Its promising performance is guaranteed by the stacked generalized principle that random projections added into the original features can help us to continuously open the manifold structure existing in the original feature space in a stacked way. With such benefits, the original input feature space becomes more linearly separable. We use the epilepsy EEG data provided by the University of Bonn to evaluate our model. Based on the EEG data, we construct three classification tasks. On each task, we use different feature selection models to select features and then use two classifiers to perform classification based on the selected features. Our experimental results show that features selected by our new structure are more meaningful and helpful to the classifier hence generates better performance than benchmarking models.

Abstract
With the continuous development of cancer treatment, the immune checkpoint inhibitors have been applied to the treatment of a variety of malignant tumors, which improved the patient's survival time and quality of life. However, immune-related adverse reactions occur inevitably. Like chemotherapeutics and targeted drugs, immunosuppressants can also cause cardiovascular events that affect the mortality of cancer patients. With the extension of the survival time of cancer patients, it will increasingly become a key factor which affects the prognoses of these diseases. This review focuses on the cardiotoxic mechanism, clinical manifestation, and future direction of immune checkpoint inhibitors during cancer treatment.

Abstract
Objective: To study the clinicopathologic and genetic features of Waldeyer's ring peripheral T-cell lymphoma with follicular helper T cell immunophenotypes (wPTCL-TFH), with comparison to the nodal peripheral T-cell lymphoma with TFH immunophenotypes (nPTCL-TFH) and angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma (AITL), as to know this rare tumor better. Methods: The clinical data, histopathology features, EBV positivity, T cell clonality and IDH2(R172) gene mutation in 8 cases of wPTCL-TFH were collected at the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from December 2015 to April 2019, and analyzed by immunohistochemistry, in situ hybridization, TCR gene rearrangement (BIOMED-2) and Sanger sequencing.Follow-up data were obtained by telephone. Results: There were 6 males and 2 females with a median age of 62.5 years (age ranging from 30 to 75 years). All patients had neither fever nor skin manifestations, but were all found mucosa thickened or mass of waldeyer's ring with multiple lymph nodes enlarged by PET-CT/CT scans. Five of the 7 patients were at advanced stages (Ⅲ/Ⅳ stage). Microscopically, the mucosa was infiltrated diffusely and characteristically by numerous small-medium sized lymphocytes, lacking polymorphous inflammatory background and extra-follicular expansion of follicular dendritic cell networks (FDC networks). The clear T cells presented in 5 cases. Ulcers on mucosal surfaces (6 cases) and local-extensive loss of intramucosal glands (7 cases) were commonly noted. Granulomas composed of epithelioid histiocytes were observed in 2 cases. Immunohistochemically, all the tumor cells expressed CD4 and at least 2 types of follicular helper of T cell (TFH) markers: PD-1 (8/8), bcl-6 (8/8), CXCL13 (7/8) and CD10 (1/8). Most of the cases (6 cases) expressed CD30. EBV positive appeared in 4 cases. All 8 cases were T cell monoclonal. IDH2(R172) were wild-type in 6 cases. One patient died at the follow-up time on 18 months; the other 7 survived (the follow-up time varied from 3 to 10 months). Conclusions: wPTCL-TFH is rare, and its clinicopathological features are similar to nPTCL-TFH which may be the manifestation of the same disease at different stage, and partly overlapped with AITL. The differential diagnosis from PTCL-NOS is necessary and comprehensive analyses of clinical, morphological, immunohistochemical and genetic features can help make a correct diagnosis.

Abstract
To recognize abnormal electroencephalogram (EEG) signals for epileptics, in this study, we proposed an online selective transfer TSK fuzzy classifier underlying joint distribution adaption and manifold regularization. Compared with most of the existing transfer classifiers, our classifier has its own characteristics: (1) the labeled EEG epochs from the source domain cannot accurately represent the primary EEG epochs in the target domain. Our classifier can make use of very few calibration data in the target domain to induce the target predictive function. (2) A joint distribution adaption is used to minimize the marginal distribution distance and the conditional distribution distance between the source domain and the target domain. (3) Clustering techniques are used to select source domains so that the computational complexity of our classifier is reduced. We construct six transfer scenarios based on the original EEG signals provided by the Bonn University to verify the performance of our classifier and introduce four baselines and a transfer support vector machine (SVM) for benchmarking studies. Experimental results indicate that our classifier wins the best performance and is not very sensitive to its parameters.

Abstract
Efficiently learning representations of clinical concepts (i. e., symptoms, lab test, etc.) from unstructured clinical notes of electronic health record (EHR) data remain significant challenges, since each patient may have multiple visits at different times and each visit may contain different sequential concepts. Therefore, learning distributed representations from temporal patterns of clinical notes is an essential step for downstream applications on EHR data. However, existing methods for EHR representation learning can not adequately capture either contextual information per-visit or temporal information at multiple visits. In this study, we developed a new vector embedding method called EHR2Vec that can learn semantically-meaningful representations of clinical concepts. EHR2Vec incorporated the self-attention structure and showed its utility in accurately identifying relevant clinical concept entities considering time sequence information from multiple visits. Using EHR data from systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) patients as a case study, we showed EHR2Vec outperforms in identifying interpretable representations compared to other well-known methods including Word2Vec and Med2Vec, according to clinical experts' evaluations.

Abstract
Objective: To assess structural changes in retina after systemic immunosuppressive treatment in Vogt-Koyanagi-Harada (VKH) disease using spectral-domain optical coherence tomography (SD-OCT). Methods: The clinical data of 17 VKH cases (34 eyes) who consecutively attended the Beijing Tongren Hospital between December 2015 and December 2019 were retrospectively reviewed. All the patients had acute or subacute onset, and underwent high-dose systemic corticosteroid and/or immunosuppressive treatment, with a followed-up time of at least 6 months. At the end of follow-up, the intraocular inflammation was controlled, and oral prednisone was withdrawn or being adjusted to less than 10 mg/day. The SD-OCT features of the included eyes were analyzed before treatment, 1 week, 1 month and 3 months after treatment, and at the last visit. Results: A total of 17 cases (34 eyes; 6 males and 11 females) were included, with an age of (42.2±10.6) years, and were followed up for (9.4±3.3) months. At 1 week after initiating treatment, the percentage of the eyes with extensive/multiple or multifocal retinal detachment in the macular region, membranous structures and intraretinal cysts, and undulations and bumps of retinal pigment epithelium (RPE) decreased (5.9% vs 100%, 2.9% vs 47.1%, 5.9% vs 70.6%, 11.8% vs 58.8%, respectively, all P<0.001). There was statistical significant difference of the percentage of ellipsoid zone and external limiting membrane (ELM) disruptions before treatment, at 3 months and the last visit (100% vs 35.3%, 64.7% vs 52.9%, 41.2% vs 26.5%, respectively, all P<0.001). At the last visit, there were statistical significant differences of the best corrected vision acuity (BCVA) between the intact ellipsoid zone group (20 eyes) and the discontinuous group (14 eyes), as well as between the intact ELM group (25 eyes) and the discontinuous group (9 eyes), respectively [0 (0, 0.05) vs 0.10 (0.03, 0.33) (log MAR), P=0.004; 0 (0, 0.07) vs 0.22 (0.05, 0.40) (log MAR), P=0.005]. Conclusions: The edema of choroid and retina subsided obviously at 1 week after initiating treatment. The extent of damage and recovery ability of ellipsoid zone and ELM were different before treatment, at 3 months and the last visit. At the last visit, the outer retinal layers failed to recover completely in some patients, and were related to the BCVA.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the clinicopathological and molecular characteristics of pulmonary enteric adenocarcinoma (PEAC). Methods: The clinical and pathological data of 19 cases of PEAC in the Affiliated Cancer Hospital of Zhengzhou University were retrospectively collected from 2015 to 2019. Immunohistochemistry (IHC) was used to detect the relevant immunophenotypes, amplification refractory mutation system (ARMS) and fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) were used to detect the expression of EGFR, KRAS and ALK genes. The patients were followed up, and the relevant literature was reviewed and analyzed. Results: There were 19 cases, including 10 males and 9 females, with a mean age of 58 years (range 33-71 years). Microscopically, the tumors showed moderately to highly differentiated adenoid and/or papillary growth patterns. The tumor cells were highly columnar and sometimes showed pseudostratification. Inflammatory necrosis and scattered nuclear fragmentation were seen in some glandular lumens. IHC showed variable expression of CK7 (19/19), TTF1 (8/19), Napsin A (6/19), villin (17/19), CK20 (16/19) and CDX2 (10/19). Molecular testing showed KRAS mutation in nine cases (9/19), EGFR mutation in one case (1/19), and positive ALK split signal in one case (1/19). In the literature, the reported mutation rate of KRAS in PEAC was much higher than that of EGFR and ALK. All 19 cases underwent surgical resection and 11 cases were subjected to chemotherapy or radiotherapy. Conclusions: PEAC is a rare variant of invasive pulmonary adenocarcinoma, and has similar histological and cytological features to that of colorectal adenocarcinoma. However, detailed medical history, histologic heterogeneity, an IHC combination of CK7(+)/villin(+) and high KRAS mutation rate are the key points of diagnosis. The prognosis needs long-term follow-up and big data statistics.

Abstract
Drug-drug interactions (DDIs) are one of the indispensable factors leading to adverse event reactions. Considering the unique structure of AERS (Food and Drug Administration Adverse Event Reporting System (FDA AERS)) reports, we changed the scope of the window value in the original skip-gram algorithm, then propose a language concept representation model and extract features of drug name and reaction information from large-scale AERS reports. The validation of our scheme was tested and verified by comparing with vectors originated from the cooccurrence matrix in tenfold cross-validation. In the verification of description enrichment of the DrugBank DDI database, accuracy was calculated for measurement. The average area under the receiver operating characteristic curve of logistic regression classifiers based on the proposed language model is 6% higher than that of the cooccurrence matrix. At the same time, the average accuracy in five severe adverse event classes is 88%. These results indicate that our language model can be useful for extracting drug and reaction features from large-scale AERS reports.

Abstract
Objective: To explore the effects and mechanism of rat epidermal stem cells (ESCs) that were treated with exogenous vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) on the healing of deep partial-thickness burn wounds in rats. Methods: ESCs were isolated and cultured from the trunk skin of a 3-month-old female Sprague-Dawley (SD) rat. The third passage of cultured cells in the logarithmic growth phase was used in experiments (1)-(3). (1) The cells were routinely cultured in keratinocytes-specified serum-free medium (K-SFM) (the same routine culture condition below). The morphology of cells cultured for 3 and 5 days was observed under the inverted optical microscope. (2) After 24 hours in routine culture, the expression of cell surface markers CD44, CD45, CD11b, and CD11c was detected by flow cytometer, with triplicate samples. (3) Four batches of cells were collected, and each batch was divided into VEGF group or blank control group according to the random number table. The cells in blank control group were routinely cultured, while the cells in VEGF group were cultured in K-SFM containing VEGF in the final mass concentration of 10 ng/mL. The protein expressions of cytokeratin 19 (CK19) and CK10 in cells cultured for 10 days were detected by Western blotting. The Nanog mRNA expression in cells cultured for 0 (immediately), 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10 day (s) was detected by real-time fluorescent quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction. The absorbance value was detected with cell counting kit-8 in cells cultured for 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10 days. The clone number of more than 50 cells was observed and counted under the optical microscope in cells cultured for 10 days, and the cell colony formation rate was calculated. Three samples at each time point was analysed. (4) Thirty-six 3-month-old SD rats (either male or female) were used for the study, and two deep partial-thickness burn wounds (10 mm in diameter) were created in each rat by pressing a 100 ℃ electric iron plate on symmetric dorsal side. According to the random number table, the injured rats were divided into VEGF+ ESCs group, ESCs alone group, and blank control group, with 12 rats and 24 wounds in each group. From 0 (immediately) to 2 day (s) after injury, 20 μL phosphate buffer solution (PBS) was injected into each wound in the three groups in one time, once a day, with the solution in VEGF+ ESCs group containing 0.8×10(6) cells/mL of ESCs treated by 10 ng/mL VEGF for 10 days, the solution in ESCs alone group containing 0.8×10(6) cells/mL of ESCs without any treatment, and the solution in blank control group being PBS only. On post first injection day (PFID) 0 (immediately), 3, 7, and 14, three rats from each group were taken respectively according to the random number table for wound healing assessment, and the wound healing rates on PFID 3, 7, and 14 were calculated. The mice at each time point were sacrificed with wound tissue harvested for histology, and the skin structure was observed by hematoxylin-eosin staining. Data were statistically analyzed with independent sample t test, analysis of variance for factorial design, least significant difference test, and Bonferroni correction. Results: (1) By day 3 in culture, cells distributed in slowly-growing clusters. By day 5, the clusters were large and round, in which the cells mainly with large and round nuclei and little cytoplasm were observed. The above results were consistent with the morphological characteristics of ESCs. (2) The positive expression rate of CD44 was (94.3±1.2) %, and the expressions of CD45, CD11b, and CD11c were negative. The cells were confirmed as ESCs. (3) Compared with those of blank control group, the protein expression of CK19 in the cells of VEGF group was significantly increased after 10 days in culture (t=3.756, P<0.05), while the protein expression of CK10 was significantly decreased (t=3.149, P<0.05). Compared with those of blank control group, the Nanog mRNA expression in the cells cultured for 0 and 2 day (s) and absorbance values of the cells cultured for 2 and 4 day (s) were not significantly changed in VEGF group (t=0.58, 0.77, 0.53, 3.02, P>0.05), while the Nanog mRNA expression in the cells cultured for 4, 6, 8, and 10 days and absorbance values of the cells cultured for 6, 8, and 10 days were significantly increased in VEGF group (t=6.34, 5.00, 5.58, 4.61, 5.65, 10.78, 15.51, P<0.01). After 10 days in culture, the cell colony-forming rate in VEGF group was (56.4±1.3) %, significantly higher than (31.5±1.3) % of blank control group (t=13.96, P<0.01). (4) The burn wounds of rats in the three groups were confined to the superficial dermis of the skin on PFID 0. On PFID 3, normal skin tissue at wound margins slightly contracted in the rats of VEGF+ ESCs group, which was earlier than that in the other two groups. On PFID 7, the newly generated epidermis covered most parts of the rat wounds in VEGF+ ESCs group, and some of the epithelium crawled around the rat wounds in ESCs alone group, but no obvious epithelialization was observed in the rat wounds in blank control group. On PFID 14, the rat wounds in VEGF+ ESCs group were basically healed, while some parts of the rat wounds were unhealed in ESCs alone group, and most parts of the rat wounds were unhealed in blank control group. On PFID 3, the wound healing rates of rats in the three groups were similar (P>0.05). On PFID 7 and 14, the wound healing rates of rats in ESCs alone group, respectively (26.0±2.0) % and (64.4±4.7) %, were obviously higher than (12.4±1.1) % and (29.1±3.3) % of blank control group (P<0.01), all of which were obviously lower than (41.0±2.4) % and (91.3±3.5) % of VEGF+ ESCs group (P<0.01). On PFID 3, infiltration of a large number of inflammatory cells were observed in the rat wounds in VEGF+ ESCs group, which was earlier than those in the other two groups. On PFID 7, a large number of endothelial cells were observed in the rat wounds in VEGF+ ESCs group, while proliferation of a few endothelial cells were observed in the rat wounds in ESCs alone group, and a large number of inflammatory cells infiltrated the rat wounds in blank control group. On PFID 14, the newly generated epidermal cells covered nearly all the rat wounds in VEGF+ ESCs group and most parts of the rat wounds in ESCs alone group, while a large number of endothelial cells were observed and the newly generated epidermal cells covered some parts of the rat wounds in blank control group. Conclusions: ESCs of rats treated with exogenous VEGF can promote the healing of deep partial-thickness burn wounds in rats, which may be related to VEGF's roles in promoting the proliferation of ESCs and reducing its differentiation level, so as to maintain the potency of stem cells.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE The purpose of our study is to build nomograms for predicting the possibility of lung metastasis (LM) and bone metastasis (BM) in patients with intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (ICC). METHODS 1527 patients diagnosed with ICC between 2010 and 2016 were collected from the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) database. Univariable and multivariable logistic regression analyses were used to recognize the predictors of LM and BM, respectively. Then two nomograms were established. We applied the C-index, calibration plot, receiver-operating characteristic (ROC) curve, and decision curve analysis (DCA) to evaluate the novel nomograms. The maximum values of the Youden indexes from the ROC curves were utilized to select the cutoff points of the nomograms. The Kaplan-Meier survival curves were used to evaluate the effect of chemotherapy in different groups. The bootstrap resampling method was chosen for internal validation. RESULTS Five predictors for LM and three predictors for BM were identified, and two nomograms were constructed. The nomograms had high values of C-indexes, reaching 0.821 (95% CI 0.772-0.871) for LM and 0.759 (95% CI 0.700-0.818) for BM. C-indexes of 0.814 for LM and 0.749 for BM were also observed in internal validation. The calibration plots, ROC curves, and DCAs exhibited favorable performances for predicting LM and BM. The cutoff points of total points in nomograms were 108 for LM and 144 for BM, which could distinguish between high-risk and low-risk groups for LM and BM. Chemotherapy is suggested to undergo for patients in high-risk groups. CONCLUSIONS The nomograms could assess the possibility of LM and BM in ICC patients and determine the optimal treatment.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Models for predicting patient survival after resection of a non-metastatic adenocarcinoma of the pancreatic body and tail (APBT) are scarce. We wished to establish and validate a nomogram to predict disease-specific survival (DSS) of these patients. METHODS A total of 1,435 patients screened from the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) database were included and divided randomly into a training set (TS; n = 1,007) and internal validation set (IVS; n = 428) at a ratio of 7:3. Cox regression analyses were conducted to select independent predictors in the TS, and a nomogram was constructed. The model was subjected to the IVS and an external validation set (EVS) comprising 151 patients from two tertiary hospitals. RESULTS Five independent risk factors (age at the diagnosis, chemotherapy, tumor grade, T stage, and the lymph node radio) were identified and integrated into the nomogram. Calibration curves indicated that the nomogram could predict DSS at 1, 2, and 3 years accurately. The nomogram had a higher concordance index for predicting DSS compared with that using the 8th edition of the American Joint 23 Committee on Cancer (AJCC8) stage (TS: 0.681 vs. 0.606; IVS: 0.662 vs. 0.590; and EVS: 0.675 vs. 0.608). The nomogram had better discrimination ability and clinical utility than the AJCC8 stage for predicting 1-, 2-, and 3-year DSS. CONCLUSION Our developed nomogram could accurately predict DSS in patients after resection of a non-metastatic APBT.

Abstract
Precaution of classical swine fever (CSF) is an important mission for the worldwide swine industry. Glycoprotein E2 is the leading antigen candidate for subunit vaccine of classical swine fever virus (CSFV). In this study, two Spy-tagged E2 genes were synthesized in vitro and subcloned into pMCO-AOX vector for intracellular expression in Pichia pastoris after methanol induction. Western blot analysis and semi-quantitative analysis showed that the yield of recombinant E2 protein was improved 17.87 folds by using co-translocational signal peptide cSIG. After the construction of the tandem multiple copy expression vectors, further increase of E2 production was observed by repetitive transforming expression vectors into P. pastoris genome. Finally, the yeast transformants harboring 8 or 16 copies of cSIG-E2-Spy increased the E2 expression level by 27.01-fold or 30.72-fold, respectively. These results demonstrate that utilizing co-translocational signal peptide together with multi-copy integration strategy can increase the production of recombinant E2 protein efficiently.

Abstract
Reverse Monte Carlo (RMC) is one of the commonly used approaches for modeling total scattering data. However, to extend the capability of the RMC method for refining the structure of nanomaterials, the dimensionality and finite size need to be considered when calculating the pair distribution function (PDF). To achieve this, the simulation box must be set up to remove the periodic boundary condition in one, two or three of the dimensions. This then requires a correction to be applied for the difference in number density between the real system and the simulation box. In certain circumstances an analytical correction for the uncorrelated pairings of atoms is also applied. The validity and applicability of our methodology is demonstrated by applying the algorithms to simulate the PDF patterns of carbon systems with various dimensions, and also by using them to fit experimental data of CuO nanoparticles. This alternative approach for characterizing the local structure of nano-systems with the total scattering technique will be made available via the RMCProfile package. The theoretical formulation and detailed explanation of the analytical corrections for low-dimensional systems – 2D nanosheets, 1D nanowires and 0D nanoparticles – is also given.

Abstract
The adjuvant CVC1302 was previously shown to efficiently enhance the immunogenicity of killed foot-and-mouth disease virus (FMDV) in mice and piglets. However, the underlining mechanism of action of CVC1302 remains unclear, especially at local injection sites and draining lymph nodes. Since the FMDV vaccine is administrated intramuscularly in field settings, we studied local immune responses to FMDV following intramuscular injection in mice, and found that CVC1302-adjuvanted killed FMDV (KV-CVC1302) induced secretion of several chemokines in murine muscle tissues, including MCP-1, MIP-1α, and MIP-1β. The number of monocytes recruited to the site of injection was significantly higher in mice immunized with KV-CVC1302 compared with mice immunized with killed FMDV alone (KV). iTAQ-based quantitative proteomic assays were additionally employed to explore the molecular mechanisms of CVC1302 action in the draining lymph nodes. A total of 35 proteins were identified as being differentially expressed among the control group, KV-immunized group and KV-CVC1302-immunized group at 10 days post immunization (dpi). Proteins exhibiting differential expression were mainly involved in signal transduction, apoptosis, endocytosis and innate immune responses. Pathway analysis demonstrated that AMPK, phospholipase D, cAMP, Rap1, and MAPK signaling pathways were potentially induced by the immunopotentiator CVC1302. Understanding the local mechanism of CVC1302 action at injection sites and draining lymph nodes will provide new insights into the development of FMDV vaccines.

Abstract
Background & aims: Biopsy is the gold standard for staging liver fibrosis, but it may be accompanied by complications. As an alternative, non-invasive markers such as transient elastography (for liver fibrosis) and certain combinations of routine blood markers (liver function tests, full blood count) have been developed although their clinical significance remains controversial. Here, we compare the diagnostic values of non-invasive markers for liver fibrosis in patients with chronic hepatitis B infection. Methods: Transient elastography and routine laboratory tests were performed in 196 patients. Diagnostic performances were compared and were assessed based on the area under the curve (AUC) of a receiver operating characteristic (ROC) analysis. Results: Elevated GGT to platelet ratio (GPR), the fibrosis index FIB-4 [based on age, AST, platelets and ALT], platelet to lymphocyte ratio (PLR) and total bilirubin were independent predictors of liver stiffness defined by transient elastography (all P < 0.001). The AUCs of GPR in predicting both advanced fibrosis and cirrhosis were significantly larger than that of FIB-4 (P = 0.037 and P = 0.008, respectively) and AST-to-platelet ratio index (APRI) (P = 0.008 and P = 0.005). FIB-4, APRI and red cell volume distribution width-to-platelet ratio (RPR) had similar diagnostic values in discriminating different levels of liver fibrosis. Conclusions: GPR showed the best diagnostic value and RPR and PLR are easily available and inexpensive markers in evaluating fibrosis and cirrhosis. The diagnostic values of these laboratory markers are useful in diagnosing advanced fibrosis or cirrhosis, and in confirming the different levels of liver fibrosis.

Abstract
The negative thermal expansion (NTE) in CuO is explained via electron-transfer-driven superexchange interaction. The elusive connection between the spin-lattice coupling and NTE of CuO is investigated by neutron scattering and principal strain axes analysis. The density functional theory calculations show as the temperature decreases, the continuously increasing electron transfer accounts for enhancing the superexchange interaction along [101̅], the principal NTE direction. It is further rationalized that only when the interaction along [101̅] is preferably enhanced to a certain level compared to the other competing antiferromagnetic exchange pathways can the corresponding NTE occur. Outcomes from this work have implications for controlling the thermal expansion through superexchange interaction, via, for example, optical manipulation, electron or hole doping, etc.

Abstract
目的 探讨雷帕霉素(Rapamycin, RAPA)对重型再生障碍性贫血(SAA)模型小鼠CD4+CD25+ Treg细胞凋亡情况的影响及可能的机制。 方法 以近交系雌性BALB/c小鼠作为对照(对照组),应用IFN-γ腹腔注射联合白消安灌胃的方法建立SAA小鼠模型(SAA组),并使用RAPA腹腔注射5 d治疗SAA小鼠(RAPA组)。骨髓活检病理学检查观察各组小鼠的骨髓造血组织变化;免疫磁珠分选出各组小鼠脾脏Treg细胞,用流式细胞术检测其凋亡率;Western blot法检测各组小鼠脾脏Treg细胞的Akt、磷酸化(p)-Akt、Stat3、p-Stat3的表达水平;收集各组小鼠外周血和脾脏中单个核细胞,用流式细胞术检测CD4+CD25+Foxp3+ Treg细胞的比例变化。 结果 与对照组相比,SAA组造血细胞明显减少,且造血细胞被大量的脂肪组织所代替,RAPA组造血细胞亦明显减少,可见大量脂肪细胞;对照组、SAA组、RAPA组小鼠胫骨骨髓造血组织面积分别为(94.25±4.20)%、(7.00±2.00)%、(9.75±1.83)%,差异有统计学意义(Welch F=1 441.822,P<0.001);RAPA组略高于SAA组[Δx=2.15%(95%CI 0.15%~5.35%),P=0.037]。对照组、SAA组、RAPA组脾脏Treg细胞凋亡率分别为(19.84±1.39)%、(29.85±2.72)%、(22.39±3.71)%,差异有统计学意义(F=18.338,P<0.001);RAPA组Treg细胞凋亡率明显低于SAA组。RAPA组脾脏Treg细胞中Akt、Stat3的表达水平高于SAA组,而p-Akt和p-Stat3表达水平低于SAA组(P值均<0.05)。SAA组、RAPA组的脾脏CD4+CD25+Foxp3+/CD4+CD25+、CD4+CD25+Foxp3+/CD4+细胞比例均低于对照组,且RAPA组明显高于SAA组(P值均<0.017)。 结论 IFN-γ联合白消安诱导的SAA模型小鼠脾脏Treg细胞存在过度凋亡现象,而RAPA可能通过抑制Treg细胞内Akt及Stat3的磷酸化上调Foxp3的表达,从而抑制Treg细胞的凋亡。
