Abstract
Combining the killing ability of chemotherapy drugs on tumor cells with the inhibiting ability of genetic drugs on tumor cell growth, a dual drug delivery system loaded with therapy drugs and siRNA has gradually received more and more research and extensive attention. In this paper, we designed a DNA nano-assembly based on rolling circle amplification that can co-deliver doxorubicin (Dox) and siRNA simultaneously. In order to fully exploit the potential of the dual loading system in cancer treatment, we selected STAT3 gene as a target and used siRNA to target STAT3 of mRNA and reduce the STAT3 expression in mouse melanoma cell line (B16); meanwhile, Dox as a chemotherapy drug was combined with multivalent aptamers specifically targeting B16 to achieve efficient delivery of siRNA and Dox. The results showed that the synergistic delivery system could achieve high efficiency in targeting and inhibiting proliferation in mouse melanoma cells. In addition, the synergistic effect of the dual delivery system on apoptosis of cancer cells was significantly better than that of single drug delivery systems.

Abstract
Nodal links are special configurations of band degeneracies in the momentum space, where nodal line branches encircle each other. In PT symmetric systems, nodal lines can be topologically characterized using the eigenvector frame rotations along an encircling loop and the linking structure can be described with non-Abelian frame charges involving adjacent bands. While the commutation rules between the frame charges are well established, the underlying relationship between distant band gap closing nodes remains to be explored. In this Letter, we present a photonic multiple nodal links system, where the nodal lines of nonadjacent bands are investigated with symmetry constraints on frame charges. Through an orthogonal nodal chain, the nodal line from the lower two bands predicts the existence of nodal lines formed between the higher bands. We designed and fabricated a metamaterial, with which the multiple nodal links and the topological connection between nonadjacent nodal lines are experimentally demonstrated.

Abstract
The one degree of freedom (1-DOF) manipulator with nano-resolution is a significant component in the micro-/nano-manipulation. In order to simultaneously achieve a large stroke and high precision, a piezo-driven 1-DOF flexure-based manipulator consisting of an enhanced double Scott-Russell mechanism (EDSRM), a lever type mechanism, and a Z-shaped mechanism is proposed in this paper. Analytical models are developed to examine the kinetostatic and dynamic properties of the manipulator. A finite element analysis is further performed to evaluate the characteristics of the EDSRM and the complete manipulator. The prototype is fabricated on monolithic AL7075, and various experimental tests have been carried out to investigate the correctness of the modeling. The experimental results show that the proposed manipulator has a satisfactory amplification ratio, static stability, and dynamic performance.

Abstract
This article reported the clinical experience of diagnosis and treatment for two patients with lymphomatosis cerebri. Case 1 was female and aged 53 years old, while case 2 was male and aged 69 years old. Progressive cognitive impairment was the main clinical manifestation in both patients. Brain magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) suggested leukoencephalopathy with patchy or mass enhancement. Cerebral blood flow was reduced on perfusion imaging in one patient. Brain biopsy confirmed diffuse large B-cell lymphoma in both cases. The concentration of interleukin-10 in cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) of two patients was significantly increased, however, the result of CSF flow cytology was negative. The current study suggests that interleukin-10 in CSF is an important biological indicator for the diagnosis of lymphomatosis cerebri, but CSF flow cytometry may not be helpful. Moreover, cerebral hypoperfusion can be present in patients with lymphomatosis cerebri.

Abstract
Perovskite light-emitting diodes (PeLEDs) have become a hot research topic in recent years and can now achieve an external quantum efficiency (EQE) of over 22% for green and red devices. However, the efficiency of blue PeLEDs, which are essential for display applications, lags far behind their green and red counterparts. The interface of the PeLEDs has a critical influence on the carrier transport and exciton recombination dynamics, and interface engineering is considered to be an effective strategy to improve the device performance. Herein, quaternary ammonium-based ionic liquids serve as an interfacial modification layer to significantly improve the device efficiency and stability. The interaction of quaternary ammonium cations with Pb(Br/Cl)6 octahedra promotes nucleation sites, which significantly improves the morphology of perovskite films and reduces the formation of defects in films. In addition, ion migration is also effectively suppressed in the device. As a result, with tributylmethylammonium bromide (TMAB) used as the interface layer, the EQE of the device is successfully increased from 3.5 to 6.7%, and the operational stability with a half-lifetime (T50) is increased by over 12 times. Our work provides a new class of interface modification materials toward high-performance blue PeLEDs.

Abstract
DNA nanotechnology is beginning to yield unique advantages in the area of drug delivery. For the dual-targeting and proliferation suppression of cancer cells, a "willow branch" DNA assembly based on rolling circle amplification (RCA) was built. Three single-stranded DNAs, including antibody modified cDNAs, aptamer cDNAs, and simple cDNAs, were employed in the DNA self-assembly, along with the RCA scaffolds (every 63 bases is a repeat unit). "Willow branch" DNA (WB DNA) assembly successfully linked multiple antibodies and aptamers together to achieve dual targeting of cancer cells. Binding of CD44 antibodies and S2.2 aptamers to receptors on the cell membrane inhibits both pathways, β-catenin signaling and nuclear factor-kappa B-specific transcription activity, through feedback regulation. Results demonstrated that WB DNA assembly could effectively exert multivalency clustering cell-surface receptors, modulating signal pathways and inhibiting proliferation. This study proposes a new approach for cancer dual-target and proliferation inhibition by clustering multivalent receptors.

Abstract
Here we studied expression and potential functions of Gαi3 in cervical cancer. The bioinformatics analysis together with the results from local patients' tissues revealed that Gαi3 expression was remarkably elevated in human cervical cancer tissues and different cervical cancer cells, and was associated with poor overall survival and poor disease-specific survival of patients. Gαi3 depletion resulted in profound anti-cervical cancer activity. In primary or immortalized cervical cancer cells, Gαi3 shRNA or CRISPR/Cas9-caused Gαi3 knockout/KO largely hindered cell proliferation and migration, and provoked apoptosis. On the contrast, ectopic Gαi3 overexpression further enhanced cervical cancer proliferation and migration. Akt-mTOR activation in primary cervical cancer cells was significantly reduced after Gαi3 silencing or KO, but was augmented following Gαi3 overexpression. Further studies revealed that the transcription factor GATA4 binding to Gαi3 promoter region was significantly enhanced in cervical cancer tissues and cells. Gαi3 expression was decreased by GATA4 shRNA, but upregulated following GATA4 overexpression. In vivo, the growth of cervical cancer xenografts was robustly suppressed after Gαi3 silencing or KO. Gαi3 depletion and Akt-mTOR inactivation were detected in Gαi3-silenced/-KO cervical cancer xenograft tissues. Together, upregulated Gαi3 is a valuable oncotarget of cervical cancer.

Abstract
Metasurface filters are a compact, lightweight, and inexpensive solution for the miniaturized hyperspectral imaging system. However, the emerging applicability of these filters is limited by the trade-off between spatial and spectral resolutions. In this study, we establish and experimentally demonstrate a compact hyperspectral photodetection method using random all-dielectric metasurface filters that are directly integrated on the detectors. Based on compressive sensing algorithms, the compact photodetectors can accurately reconstruct the incident spectrum in the visible range. The minimum full width at half maximum (FWHM) of the spectrum reconstructed is 4.8 nm, which fully satisfies the requirements of hyperspectral imaging. The proposed method may be applied in the design, development, and measurement of compact hyperspectral imaging systems.

Abstract
Objective: To explore the promotion effect of laparoscopic standardized surgery for gastric cancer observational in some regional medical centers in Shanghai. Methods: A retrospective cohort study was carried out. Eleven regional medical centers in Shanghai received the promotion program of laparoscopic standardized surgery for gastric cancer, which was led by Ruijin Hospital, Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine (Shanghai Minimally Invasive Surgery Center) from January to December 2020. Clinicopathological data of gastric cancer patients treated at these 11 regional medical centers before and after the promotion program were collected. Inclusion criteria were as follows: patients undergoing laparoscopic distal gastrectomy or total gastrectomy; gastric cancer confirmed by pathology; without distant metastasis or peritoneal metastasis. Patients who did not undergo laparoscopic D2 radical resection, or received neoadjuvant chemotherapy before surgery, or without complete clinical data were excluded. Patients undergoing laparoscopic surgery from January to December 2019 were included in the pre-promotion group (46 cases). Patients undergoing laparoscopic surgery from January to December 2021 were included in the post-promotion group (102 cases). In addition, patients undergoing laparoscopic surgery at Ruijin Hospital from January 2021 to December were included in the control group (138 cases). The baseline data, perioperative measurements postoperative complications, and pathological results of the three groups were analyzed and compared. Results: There were no significant differences in baseline characteristics among the three groups (all P>0.05). Compared with the pre-promotion group, the operation time in post-promotion group was significantly shorter [(207.3±36.0) minutes vs. (254.2±47.1) minutes, t=7.038,P<0.001], and the number of harvested lymph node was significantly more (24.4±12.2 vs. 18.9±5.5, t=2.900, P=0.004). However, there were no significant differences in the extent of resection, time to fluid intake, and postoperative hospital stay between the two groups (all P>0.05). Compared with the control group, the operation time [(207.3±36.0) minutes vs (172.6±26.0) minutes, t=8.281, P<0.001], time to fluid intake [(6.3±3.2) days than (5.5±3.0) days, t=2.029, P=0.044], and the postoperative hospital stay [(14.3±5.6) days vs. (10.1±4.8) days, t=6.036, P<0.001] in the post- promotion group were still longer. Total gastrectomy was less common in the post-promotion group compared with the control group [18 cases (17.6%) vs. 41 cases (29.7%), χ2=7.380, P=0.007]. However, there was no significant difference in the number of harvested lymph node between the two groups (P>0.05). The morbidity of postoperative complication in the post-promotion group (9.8%, 10/102) was significantly lower than that in the pre-promotion group (23.9%, 11/46) (χ2=5.183, P=0.023), while above morbidity was not significantly different between the post-promotion group and the control group [9.8% vs. 6.5% (9/138), χ2=0.867, P=0.352]. Conclusion: After the promotion of laparoscopic standardized surgery for gastric cancer in regional medical centers, the standardization degree of surgery has been improved, and the morbidity of postoperative complication decreases. Laparoscopic standardized surgery for gastric cancer can be promoted to more regional medical centers.

Abstract
In periodic systems, nodal lines are loops in the three-dimensional momentum space with each point on them representing a band degeneracy. Nodal lines exhibit rich topological features, as they can take various configurations such as rings, links, chains, and knots. These line nodes are generally protected by mirror or PT symmetry and frequently accompanied by drumhead surface states. Here, we propose and demonstrate a novel type of photonic straight nodal lines in a D_{2D} metacrystal, which are protected by an unusual rotoinversion time (roto-PT) symmetry. These nodal lines are located at the central axis and hinges of the Brillouin zone. They appear as quadrupole sources of Berry curvature flux in contrast to the Weyl points, which are monopoles. Interestingly, topological surface states exist at all three cutting surfaces, as guaranteed by π-quantized Zak phases along all three directions. As frequency changes, the surface state equifrequency contours evolve from closed to open and become straight lines at a critical transition frequency, at which diffractionless surface wave propagations are experimentally demonstrated, paving the way toward development of superimaging topological devices.

Abstract
Combined intravenous and intrathecal administration of norvancomycin (NVCM) is routinely employed in treating methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) ventriculitis in patients following craniotomy. However, the optimal dosing regimen, the pharmacokinetics (PK) of NVCM in cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), and the clinical outcome are yet to be elucidated. Herein, a single-center randomized controlled trial was conducted in the Neurosurgery Department of the Second Hospital of Hebei Medical University (Shijiazhuang, China). Patients with MRSA ventriculitis after craniotomy were randomly assigned to two groups. The control group received 800 mg NVCM intravenously every 12 h, and the experimental group received 800 mg NVCM intravenously every 12 h and 16 mg NVCM intrathecal administration every 24 h. The primary outcome was the length of therapy, while the secondary outcomes included the area under the concentration-time curve in 0-24 h/minimum inhibitory concentration ratio (AUC0-24h/MIC) of NVCM in CSF. A total of 29 patients (14 in the experimental group and 15 in the control group) were included in this study. Of these, 24 constituted the final analysis population, with 12 in each group. The average length of therapy in the experimental group was markedly shorter than that of the control group (11.2 ± 2.6 days vs. 16.6 ± 5.2 days, P = 0.005), while the AUC0-24h/MIC in the experimental group was significantly higher than that in the control group (2306.57 ± 928.58 vs. 46.83 ± 27.48, P <0.001) with no increase in adverse reactions. Combined intravenous and intrathecal administration can shorten the treatment time of intracranial infection without higher adverse reaction risks in our research. Further studies with larger sample size are warranted to verify its safety and efficacy.

PURPOSE To evaluate the effect of imrecoxib on CYP2C11 enzyme activity, mRNA and protein expression. METHOD An ultra-performance liquid chromatography (UPLC) method was established. Tolbutamide was selected as CYP2C11 enzyme-specific probe drug and incubated with imrecoxib in rat liver microsomes. The amount of 4-hydroxytolbutamide produced was measured by UPLC to investigate the effect of imrecoxib on CYP2C11 enzyme activity. Imrecoxib (10 mg/kg) was given by intragastric administration twice daily. After 1, 7 and 14 days of administration, liver tissues were taken. The expression of CYP2C11 enzyme mRNA was determined by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR), and its protein expression was determined by Western Blot. RESULTS Imrecoxib concentration was inversely proportional to the production of 4-hydroxytolbutamide in liver microsomes. Imrecoxib demonstrated dose-dependent inhibitory effect on CYP2C11 activity with IC50=74.77 μM. After administration, RT-PCR showed CYP2C11 enzyme mRNA expressions were 65% (P<0.05), 35%, and 34% of control group, respectively (P<0.01). Western Blot showed CYP2C11 enzyme protein expressions were 80%, 37%, and 34% of control group, respectively (P<0.01). CONCLUSION Imrecoxib can reduce mRNA and protein expression of CYP2C11 enzyme in rat liver and inhibit the activity of CYP2C11 enzyme in a dose-dependent manner. However, it will not produce clinically significant drug interactions.

Abstract
Isomerization and addition reactions of sanshools reduced the numbing degree for the first time. Acidic environment promotes isomerization and addition reactions of numbing substances. The degradation rates of hydroxyl-α-sanshool was 75.36%.
In present work, Zanthoxylum bungeanum meal (ZBM) used as experimental material, the stability of typical alkylamides (hydroxyl-α-sanshool and hydroxyl-β-sanshool) in ZBM under different acidification conditions was investigated, in order to reveal degradation or transformation mechanism of numbing substances from Z. bungeanum exposed to acid environment and its transform direction. The alkylamides content of ZBM was detected by using HPLC after different conditions of acidification. The results indicated that hydroxyl-α-sanshool and hydroxyl-β-sanshool under the concentration of hydrochloric acid is 14% decreased by 80% after only 0.5 h. Moreover, some of the components undergo isomerization and addition reactions in the process of acidification, the products of isomerization are hydroxyl-ε-sanshool and (1Z,2E,4E,8E,10E)-N-(2-hydroxy-2-methylpropyl)dodeca-2,4,8,10-tetraenimidic acid; and the product of the addition reaction is (2E,6E,8E,10E)-1-chloro-1-(2-hydroxy-2-methylpropyl)amino)dodeca-2,6,8,10-tetraen-1-ol, which indicated that acid environment has greatly changed the numbing substances in Z. bungeanum and its products.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION The diterpenoids are the most important active constituents that contribute to the pharmacological efficacy of Isodon serra (Maxim.) Hara. Clinical studies have revealed that diterpenoids possess multiple features, e.g. antitumour, antitubercular and anti-ischemic activities. Therefore, the identification and detection of diterpenoids may be equally important for understanding the pharmacological basis of diterpenoids and enhancing the product quality control of I. serra. OBJECTIVES The purpose of this study was to develop a practical analysis approach of rapid characterisation using ultrahigh-performance liquid chromatography quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry (UHPLC-Q-TOF-MS) for the structure characterisation of the ent-kaurane diterpenoids from I. serra. METHODOLOGY The analytical strategy was as follows: first, ent-kaurane diterpenoids were detected by a novel on-line data acquisition approach, i.e. sequential window acquisition of all theoretical fragment-ion spectra (SWATH). Second, the MS of eight ent-kaurane diterpenoids was explored, and their mass spectrum cleavage pathways were summarised and determined. Finally, the methanol extract of I. serra was studied using SWATH and identified by extracted ion chromatography (XIC). RESULTS Compared to the traditional information-dependent acquisition (IDA) method, SWATH significantly improved the hit rate of ent-kaurane diterpenoids. With support from UHPLC separation and specific detection by tandem mass spectrometry (MS/MS), 48 ent-kaurane diterpenoids were successfully characterised and classified as ent-kaurane diterpenoids from a complex matrix. CONCLUSIONS These combined qualitative methods were used to provide a potential approach for the characterisation of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and its preparations. Meanwhile, the SWATH provided a novel and reliable method for the structural characterisation of ent-kaurane diterpenoids from other complicated TCMs.
