Abstract
OBJECTIVE The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of melatonin on mitochondria of dental papilla cells (DPCs) during the odontogenic differentiation process. MATERIALS AND METHODS Primary DPCs were obtained from the first molar dental papilla of neonatal rats and cultured in osteogenic (OS) or basal medium supplemented with melatonin at different concentrations (0, 1 pM, 0.1 nM, 10 nM, and 1 μM) for differentiation in vitro. Effects of melatonin on differentiation, mitochondrial respiratory function, and mitochondrial biogenesis of DPCs were analyzed. RESULTS Upon odontogenic induction, Alkaline phosphatase (ALP) activity, dentin sialophosphoprotein (DSPP), and dentin matrix protein (DMP1) expression were significantly enhanced, with a peaked expression at 10 nM of melatonin treatment. During DPCs differentiation, 10 nM melatonin could significantly induce the increase of intracellular Adenosine triphosphate (ATP), the decrease of the oxidized form of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+)/NADH ratio and reactive oxygen species (ROS). The mRNA and protein levels of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma coactivator 1-alpha (PGC-1α), nuclear respiratory factor 1 (NRF-1), and mitochondrial transcription factor A (TFAM) were significantly increased, and the peak level of expression was found in cells treated with 10 nM of melatonin. Furthermore, the mitochondria DNA (mtDNA) copy number was significantly decreased during DPCs differentiation. CONCLUSIONS These findings suggest that melatonin can promote the differentiation of rat DPCs and regulate mitochondrial energy metabolism, ROS scavenging, and mitochondrial biogenesis.

Abstract
We report on the first measurement of the astrophysical neutrino flux using particle showers (cascades) in IceCube data from 2010-2015. Assuming standard oscillations, the astrophysical neutrinos in this dedicated cascade sample are dominated (∼90%) by electron and tau flavors. The flux, observed in the sensitive energy range from 16 TeV to 2.6 PeV, is consistent with a single power-law model as expected from Fermi-type acceleration of high energy particles at astrophysical sources. We find the flux spectral index to be γ=2.53±0.07 and a flux normalization for each neutrino flavor of ϕ_{astro}=1.66_{-0.27}^{+0.25} at E_{0}=100 TeV, in agreement with IceCube's complementary muon neutrino results and with all-neutrino flavor fit results. In the measured energy range we reject spectral indices γ≤2.28 at ≥3σ significance level. Because of high neutrino energy resolution and low atmospheric neutrino backgrounds, this analysis provides the most detailed characterization of the neutrino flux at energies below ∼100 TeV compared to previous IceCube results. Results from fits assuming more complex neutrino flux models suggest a flux softening at high energies and a flux hardening at low energies (p value ≥0.06). The sizable and smooth flux measured below ∼100 TeV remains a puzzle. In order to not violate the isotropic diffuse gamma-ray background as measured by the Fermi Large Area Telescope, it suggests the existence of astrophysical neutrino sources characterized by dense environments which are opaque to gamma rays.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the relationship between smoking status and the onset age of stomach cancer patients and estimate the patients' direct medical cost burden of stomach cancer due to smoking in Anhui province. Methods: The information about the primary stomach cancer patients and their direct treatment expenditures in 10 cancer-registered areas in Anhui were collected in 2017. The association between smoking status and the age of onset of stomach cancer patients was analyzed by univariate regression and multivariate logistic regression models. The median and smoking-attributed risk method was used to describe the direct treatment expenditure of stomach cancer patients in Anhui due to smoking. Results: A total of 736 patients with stomach cancer were analyzed in this study. Univariate regression analysis showed that rural household registration (t=2.091, P=0.037), smoking (t=-2.357, P=0.001 9) and alcohol consumption (t=-2.036, P=0.042) were related to the age of onset of stomach cancer. After adjusting for gender, alcohol consumption, body mass index and household registration type, the risk of early stomach cancer in people who quitted smoking cessation was lower than that in smokers (OR=0.36, 95%CI: 0.17-0.75). The total direct medical cost burden of 736 newly diagnosed stomach cancer patients was 6.939 6 million RMB. The direct medical expenditure in stomach cancer patients who had smoking behavior was higher than that in stomach cancer patients who quitted smoking and never smoked. Conclusions: Smoking is one of the risk factors for the earlier onset of stomach cancer in Anhui. It is necessary to strengthen tobacco control to reduce the economic burden of patients with stomach cancer.

Abstract
ABSTRACT Hepatitis E virus (HEV) infection is an important global public health issue. HEV infections are recognized as a zoonotic disease. Swine are believed to be the main reservoir of HEV. Recently, yaks, cows, and yellow cattle have been reported as new reservoirs of HEV. However, whether other species of cattle and buffaloes are sensitive to HEV infection is unknown. To investigate the prevalence of HEV infection in buffaloes, enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) and reverse transcription-nested polymerase chain reaction (RT-nPCR) were performed. Only one buffalo was positive to anti-HEV IgM antibody (1/106, 0.94%), and none were positive for anti-HEV IgG antibody. To our surprise, five serum (5/106, 4.72%) and three milk samples (3/40, 7.50%) from buffaloes were positive to HEV RNA. All strains of HEV isolated from buffaloes belong to genotype 4. Results indicate that buffaloes may be a new reservoir of HEV.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE The efficacy of melatonin as an analgesic agent has been well documented in animals and humans. However, the underlying mechanisms by which melatonin exerts antinociceptive effects on inflammatory pain are poorly understood. Here, we investigated the potential of melatonin to ameliorate inflammatory pain. MATERIALS AND METHODS In vitro, ND7/23 neurons were treated with capsaicin. We used PCR and Western blot analyses to detect the expression of neuronal nitric oxide synthase (nNOS) in response to melatonin. Orofacial inflammatory pain was induced by 4% formalin administration on the right whisker pad of Sprague Dawley (SD) rats. The analgesic effect of melatonin was evaluated using mechanical threshold analyses. The expression level of nNOS in the trigeminal ganglion (TG) and trigeminal nucleus caudalis (Vc) neurons was assessed by RNAscope and immunohistochemistry. RESULTS In vitro, capsaicin upregulated the expression of nNOS, which was dose-dependently reversed by melatonin pretreatment (p < 0.001). In a rat model of orofacial inflammatory pain, melatonin pretreatment significantly attenuated mechanical allodynia in both the acute and chronic phases (p < 0.05). Furthermore, melatonin decreased the formalin-evoked elevated nNOS mRNA and protein levels in the TG and Vc neurons in the acute and chronic phases (p < 0.05). CONCLUSIONS Taken together, these results suggest that nNOS may play an active role in both peripheral and central processing of nociceptive information following orofacial inflammatory pain induction. The regulatory effect of melatonin on nNOS in inflammatory pain may have potential implications for the development of novel analgesic strategies.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To detect the chloroquine-resistant molecular marker polymorphisms in Plasmodium falciparum imported into China, investigate the mutation types of P. falciparum chloroquine resistant transporter (Pfcrt) gene at positions 72 to 76, and analyze the specificity of the P. falciparum specimens with different origins. METHODS A total of 674 filter paper blood samples were collected from the National Malaria Diagnosis Reference Laboratory of China in 2012 and 2018. The amino acid po- sitions 72 to 76 of the Pfcrt gene on chromosome 7 were amplified using nested PCR assay and sequenced, and the sequencing results of the target gene fragment and the geographical region-specific prevalence of the mutations in the Pfcrt gene were analyzed. RESULTS Among the 674 imported P. falciparum malaria cases in China in 2012 and 2018, 99.5% (644/674) were from Africa, which were predominantly from western and central Africa (80.4%, 518/644), and 4.5% (30/674) from Southeast Asia and Oceania (Papua New Guinea). A total of 4 site mutations (C72S, M74I, N75E and K76T) and 5 haplotypes (CVMNK, CVIET and SVMNT and two mixed types) were identified, with haplotypes CVMNK and CVIET present in parasites of both African and Southeast Asian origins, SVMNT detected in Southeast Asia (Myanmar) and Papua New Guinea isolates, the mixed type of haplo- types CVMNK/CVIET detected in P. falciparum of African and Southeast Asian origins, and the mixed type of haplotypes CVMNK/SVMNT detected only in the Myanmar isolate. Most P. falciparum parasites of the African origin carried the wild-type Pfcrt allele (77.7%, 478/615), and 68.0% (17/25) of the P. falciparum parasites of the Southeast Asian and Papua New Guinea or- igins harbored chloroquine resistant molecular markers (χ2 = 28.5, P < 0.05). The constituent ratio of the wild- and mutant-type Pfcrt allele varied in different geographical regions of Africa (P < 0.01), and the lowest prevalence of the wild-type Pfcrt allele was seen in western Africa. CONCLUSIONS Among the 674 imported malaria cases in China in 2012 and 2018, the P. falciparum imported from Sotheast Asia habors a higher proportion of resistance to chloroquine and a higher molecular polymophism at ami- no acid positions 72 to 76 of the Pfcrt gene than the parasite of the African origin.

Abstract
Background:Obesity population are rising rapidly and have become a major health issue. Studies have shown that obesity is a low-grade inflammatory status characterized by increase in proinflammatory cytokines.Objectives:To examine the impact of overweight or obesity on disease activity and treatment responses to biologics in patients with ankylosing spondylitis (AS) in a real-world setting.Methods:Body mass index (BMI) is available in 1013 patients from the Chinese Ankylosing Spondylitis Imaging Cohort (CASPIC). Differences in clinical outcomes (such as BASDAI, ASDAS, BASFI, and ASAS HI) and treatment responses to biologics (ΔBASDAI and ΔASDAS) over 3, 6, 9, and 12 months are assessed between BMI categories (normal weight BMI <24 kg/m2; overweight BMI=24-28 kg/m2; obesity BMI ≥28 kg/m2) using Kruskal-Wallis test. The association between BMI and clinical characteristics and treatment responses to biologics was determined, and multivariate median regression analyses were conducted to adjust for confounders (such as age, gender, smoke, and HLA-B27).Results:Among 1013 patients with AS, overweight accounts for 33%, while obesity for 12.4%. There were significant differences between patients who were obese or overweight and those with a normal weight regarding clinical outcomes (BASDAI: 2.90/2.56 vs 2.21; ASDAS-CRP: 2.20/1.99 vs 1.81; BASFI: 2.13/1.69 vs 1.38; ASAS HI: 6.87/5.29 vs 5.12 and BASMI: 2.35/1.76 vs 1.62; all P<0.05). After adjusting for age, gender, smoke, and HLA-B27, obesity remained associated with higher disease activity (BASDAI: β=0.55, P=0.005; ASDAS-CRP: β=0.40, P<0.001), poorer functional capacity (BASFI: β=0.58, P=0.001), worse health index (ASAS HI: β=1.92, P<0.001) and metrology index (BASMI: β=0.71, P=0.013). For TNFi users, BMI was found to be negatively correlated with changes in disease activity (ΔBASDAI and ΔASDAS) in the multivariate regression model (all P<0.05), and overweight and obese patients showed an unsatisfactory reduction in disease activity during 3-month, 6-month, 9-month, and 12-month follow-up period, compared to normal weight patients (all P<0.05).Conclusion:Overweight or obesity impacts greatly on clinical outcomes and treatment responses to biologics in patients with ankylosing spondylitis, which argues strongly for obesity management to become central to prevention and treatment strategies in patients with AS.References:[1]Maachi M, Pieroni L, Bruckert E, et al. Abstract
Background:Clinical practice guidelines recommend that exercise is an essential component in the self-management of Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS). Attending supervised interventions requiring periodic medical center visits can be burdensome and patients may decline participation, whereas, effective home-based exercise interventions that do not need regular medical center visits are likely to be more accessible and acceptable for patients with AS. Recently, increasing evidences have been accumulated that the wearable devices could facilitate patients with inflammatory arthritis by giving exercise instructions and improving self-efficacy. Therefore, patients with AS may benefit from an effective technology-assisted home-based exercise intervention.Objectives:To investigate the efficacy of a comprehensive technology-assisted home-based exercise intervention on disease activity in patients with AS.Methods:This study was a 16-week assessor-blinded, randomized, waiting-list controlled trial (ChiCTR1900024244). Patients with AS were randomly allocated to the home-based exercise intervention group and the waiting-list control group. A 16-week comprehensive exercise program consisting of a moderate intensity (64%-76% HRmax) aerobic training for 30min on 5 days/week and a functional training for 60min on 3 days/week was given to patients in the intervention group immediately after randomization, with 1.5h training sessions for two consecutive days by a study physical therapist at baseline and Week 8. The aerobic exercise intensity was controlled by a Mio FUSE Wristband with a smartphone application. The functional training consisted of the posture training, range of motion exercises, strength training, stability training and stretching exercises. Patients in control group received standard care during the 16-week follow-up and started to receive the exercise program at Week 16. The primary outcome was ASDAS at Week 16. The secondary outcomes were BASDAI, BASFI, BASMI, ASAS HI, peak oxygen uptake, body composition and muscle endurance tests. The mean difference between groups in change from baseline was analyzed with the analysis of covariance.Results:A total of 54 patients with AS were enrolled (26 in intervention group and 28 in control group) and 46 (85.2%) patients completed the 16-week follow-up. The mean difference of ASDAS between groups in change from baseline to 16-week follow-up was −0.2 (95% CI, −0.4 to 0.003, P = 0.032), and the mean change from baseline was -0.4 (95% CI, -0.5 to -0.2) in the intervention group vs -0.1 (95% CI, -0.3 to 0.01) in the control group, respectively. Significant between-group differences were found between groups for BASDAI (−0.5 [95% CI, −0.9 to −0.2], P = 0.004), BASMI (−0.7 [95% CI, −1.1 to −0.4], P <0.001), BASFI (−0.3 [95% CI, −0.6 to 0.01], P=0.035), peak oxygen uptake (2.7 [95% CI, 0.02 to 5.3] ml/kg/min, P=0.048) and extensor endurance test (17.8 [95% CI, 0.5 to 35.2]s, P=0.044) at Week 16. Between-group differences were detected in ASAS HI (−0.9 [95% CI, −1.7 to −0.1], P=0.030), body fat percentage (−1.0 [95% CI, −2.0 to −0.01] %, P=0.048) and visceral adipose tissue (−4.9 [95% CI, −8.5 to −1.4] cm2, P=0.008) at Week 8, but not at Week 16. No significant between-group differences were detected in the total lean mass, time up and go test and the flexor endurance test during the follow-up.Conclusion:Comprehensive technology-assisted home-based exercise has been shown to have beneficial effects on disease activity, physical function, spinal mobility, aerobic capacity, and body composition as well as in improving fatigue and morning stiffness of patients with AS.References:[1]van der Heijde D, Ramiro S, Landewé R, et al. Introduction
Some studies have shown a benefit while others have shown possible harm in patient outcomes when using positive airway pressure therapy (PAP) for treating sleep disordered breathing (SDB) in patients with heart failure (HF). The goal of this study was to evaluate the number of HF-related and all-cause related hospitalizations in patients with HF and SDB on various forms of PAP therapy versus those on no PAP therapy.
Methods
Administrative claims data from the Truven Health MarketScan Database from 1/1/2005- 10/31/2015 were analyzed. Those included were at least 21 years old, were continuously enrolled for 12 months before and 6 months after their index date (date of PAP prescription), had at least two distinct HF-related claims and were prescribed PAP therapy (n=1,324,414). To model the relationship between each device and hospitalization risk, and to account for the longitudinal and correlated nature of these binary outcome data, generalized estimating equations with binomial family, logit link, and unstructured correlation structure were used.
Results
There were a total of 12,538 patients on Bilevel-PAP, 2,700 patients on bilevel-PAP with backup rate, and 57,405 patients on CPAP, and 73,353 patients with HF and comorbid sleep apnea who were not on any treatment. The reduction in HF-related hospitalization for patients with HF and comorbid SDB treated with bilevel-PAP therapy (0.28; 95% CI 0.26, 0.31) was greater than that in patients receiving CPAP (OR 0.46 95% CI 0.43, 0.49), bilevel PAP with back-up rate (0.39; 95% CI 0.32, 0.49), or no PAP treatment (OR 0.54; 95%CI 0.50, 0.57)(P<0.01). Similar trend was observed for all-cause related hospitalizations. All results were adjusted for propensity score and other relevant confounders.
Conclusion
In claims-based analysis of patients with HF and comorbid SDB, bilevel PAP treatment was associated with reduced hospitalizations when compared to CPAP therapy or no PAP treatment.

Introduction
Sleep apnea is common in patients with heart failure (HF) and can be treated with positive airway pressure (PAP) therapy. In patients with both HF and sleep apnea, whether treatment of PAP therapy is associated with reduction in hospitalization or mortality is unclear.
Methods
We used 5% Medicare limited-dataset (LDS) from 2013-2015 to perform a retrospective study of hospitalizations and mortality in HF patients with sleep apnea who received or did not receive PAP therapy over an 18-month time period. All-cause mortality during post-treatment period, any and HF-related hospitalizations in baseline, pre-treatment and post-treatment periods were measured and compared. Propensity score matching, generalized estimating equations (GEE) model for repeated measures analysis and COX-survival analysis adjusted by multiple covariates were used for longitudinal comparisons and mortality.
Results
We have identified 281,161 patients with at least two distinct HF onsets and 62,800 of them had sleep apnea diagnosis (22%). Of these patients, 5,540 of them had initiated their PAP therapy while 12,129 of them only had their sleep apnea diagnosis during the selection time frame from Jan 1st, 2014 to June 30th, 2015 without PAP treatment (control group). After adjusting for various confounders and propensity score matching, bilevel PAP was strongly associated with lower hospitalization and HF-associated hospitalization (Bilevel-PAP vs. Control: Any hospitalization, OR=0.62, 95%CI=0.53-0.74, p<0.0001; HF-associated hospitalization, OR=0.65, 95%CI=0.55-0.78, p<0.0001). Cox proportional hazards survival analysis revealed that all of the PAP-treated groups had a better 6-month survival after treatment initiation when compared to controls (any PAP therapy vs. Control: HR=0.32, 95%CI=0.28-0.37, p<0.0001).
Conclusion
In a retrospective analysis, PAP therapy was associated with lower 6-month all-cause mortality among Medicare beneficiaries with HF and sleep apnea. Bilevel-PAP therapy was consistently associated with significant reduction in hospitalization among these patients. Our observational findings warrant confirmation by future prospective intervention trials.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the accuracy of molecular diagnostics for the detection of drug-resistant tuberculosis (TB) in Chinese patients.METHOD: Seven databases were searched for eligible studies that evaluated the accuracy of molecular diagnostics against drug susceptibility testing (DST) for detecting drug resistance. A bivariate random-effects meta-analysis was conducted to pool sensitivity and specificity by the index test and drug resistance type.RESULTS: A total of 159 studies were included. Compared with DST (reference standard), Xpert® could diagnose rifampicin (RMP) resistant TB accurately, with a pooled sensitivity and pooled specificity of 92% (95%CI 90-94) and 98% (95%CI 97-98), respectively. Line-probe assays (LPAs) also performed well for RMP resistance, with a pooled sensitivity of 91% (95%CI 88-93) and pooled specificity of 98% (95%CI 96-99), but not for isoniazid (INH) or second-line drugs due to lower sensitivity (<80%). The pooled sensitivity of GeneChip® microarrays for RMP, INH and multidrug resistance was 89% (95%CI 86-91), 79% (95%CI 75-82) and 79% (95%CI 73-84), respectively, and the specificities were all >97%. Similarly, the MeltPro® TB/STR assay had better sensitivity and specificity for first-line drugs, varying from 87% to 89% and 97% to 98%, respectively, than for second-line drugs.CONCLUSION: The Xpert assay, LPA, GeneChip assay, and MeltPro assay are credible methods with high accuracy for RMP resistance detection, but they may not be appropriate for other anti-tuberculosis drugs due to low sensitivity.

Abstract
Objective: To analyze the clinical characteristics of patients with ankylosing spondylitis (AS) with inflammation bowel disease (IBD). Methods: AS patients fulfilling the 1984 modified New York diagnostic criteria were recruited in Chinese AS Prospective Imaging Cohort (CASPIC) consecutively from April 2016 to June 2017 in Chinese People's Liberation Army General Hospital by using smart management system for spondyloarthritis (SpAMS). The diagnosis of IBD was confirmed by tissue pathology via ileocolonoscopy. Demographic, clinical and biochemical data were collected. Results: In total, 893 patients with AS were recruited with the mean age 30.8 years. The majority were men (739, 82.8%). There were 64 (7.2%) patients concomitant with IBD. The mean age [(34.5±7.5) years vs. (30.5±8.8) years, P<0.001] was older and the disease duration [(10.8±6.9) years vs. (8.1±5.9) years, P=0.001] was longer in patients with IBD than patients without. Compared with patients without IBD, patients with IBD had more frequent involvement of the cervical spine [(21.9% (14/64) vs. 10.5% (87/829), P=0.006) and thoracic spine [29.7% (19/64) vs. 12.3% (102/829), P<0.001]. Uveitis [28.1% (18/64) vs. 16.4% (136/829), P=0.017] and psoriasis [7.8% (5/64) vs. 2.3% (19/829), P=0.009] were also more common in patients concomitant with IBD. In addition, patients with IBD had significantly higher scores in BASDAI (3.3±2.1 vs. 2.4±1.8, P<0.001), BASFI [2.2 (1.0,3.3) vs. 1.1(0.2,2.4), P<0.001)] and ASAS HI (7.1±4.3 vs. 5.3±3.7, P= 0.001) than patients without IBD. Conclusions: Compared with patients without IBD, AS patients concomitant with IBD have more severe disease activity and organ dysfunction. Furthermore, the uveitis and psoriasis are more frequently accompanied in AS patients with IBD.

Abstract
Abstract Chloroquines are the long-established prescription drug, which are often used clinically to treat malaria and connective tissue diseases. Since December 2019, corona virus disease 2019 (COVID-19) outbreaks caused by 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) has occurred in China and many countries around the world. Due to the lack of drugs against COVID-19, the disease spreads rapidly and the mortality rate is relatively high. Therefore, specific drugs against 2019-nCoV need to be quickly screened. The antimalarial drug chloroquine phosphate which has already been approved is confirmed to have an anti-2019-nCoV effect and has been included in diagnostic and therapeutic guidelines. However, awareness of the risk of chloroquine phosphate causing acute poisoning or even death should be strengthened. The current dosage recommended in clinical treatment is larger than that in previous treatment of malaria and the period of treatment is longer. Many provinces have required close clinical monitoring of adverse reactions. This paper reviews the pharmacological effects, poisoning and toxicological mechanisms, in vivo metabolism and distribution, and forensic issues of chloroquine drugs, in order to provide help to forensic practice and clinical work.

Abstract
We present a theoretical study of the plasmon-phonon coupling in a suspended monolayer MoS2 and a MoS2 substrate system using a diagrammatic self-consistent field theory. The four coupled plasmon-phonon modes and the four plasmon-surface phonon modes are observed due to the spin-orbit and electron-optic phonon interactions. The two of coupled plasmon-phonon and plasmon-surface phonon modes are optic-like and the other two are acoustic-like. The plasmon are strongly coupled with the optic-phonon in MoS2 and the surface optic-phonon in the substrates as the electron density or wave-vector increases. The strong plasmon-phonon coupling shows that the optoelectronic properties of monolayer MoS2 are evidently modulated by electron-phonon interactions. The hybrid plasmon-phonon polaritons can be achieved by strong light-mater interactions. This study is relevant to the application of MoS2 as novel plasmonic and nanophotonic devices.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the clinical and imaging characteristics of infectious sacroiliitis. Methods: A total of 110 patients diagnosed with infectious sacroiliitis were retrospectively analyzed between 2008 and 2017.Clinical manifestations and therapeutic responses, laboratory tests such as HLA-B(27), erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), C reactive protein (CRP), T cell spot test for tuberculosis infection(TB-SPOT), Brucella agglutination test ect., blood culture of pathogens, pathological findings as well as magnetic resonance imaging were all recorded and analyzed. Results: Among the 110 patients, the male to female ratio was 44 to 66 with an average age 15-58(29.4±10.8) years and the course of disease 0.3-60 (5.7±13.2) months. As to the pathogens, 71 cases were pyogenic, 24 cases with tuberculous sacroiliitis, and 15 cases were brucellosis infections. The majority of patients (97.3%) had unilateral sacroiliac joint involvement. Ten (9.1%) patients suffered infectious sacroiliac arthritis after delivery. Hip pain was the main clinical manifestation (83/110,75.5%) and fever as the second (77/110,70.0%). HLA-B(27) was positive in 11 patients (10.0%). Both ESR and CRP were elevated in the majority. There were 103 patients receiving sacroiliac joint puncture biopsy. Seven patients were diagnosed through blood culture or brucellosis agglutination test. Bone marrow edema and osteolytic lesions in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) were more common in pyogenic or tuberculous sacroiliitis than in brucellosis infections. Conclusion: Infectious sacroiliitis should be differentiated from spondyloarthritis, which develops more in female patients, with short disease duration and fever, mostlynegative HLA-B(27). The majority patients present unilateral sacroiliitis. Active inflammatory lesions are usually beyond sacroiliac joints with osteolytic changes in MRI examinations.

Abstract
This Letter presents the results from pointlike neutrino source searches using ten years of IceCube data collected between April 6, 2008 and July 10, 2018. We evaluate the significance of an astrophysical signal from a pointlike source looking for an excess of clustered neutrino events with energies typically above ∼1 TeV among the background of atmospheric muons and neutrinos. We perform a full-sky scan, a search within a selected source catalog, a catalog population study, and three stacked Galactic catalog searches. The most significant point in the northern hemisphere from scanning the sky is coincident with the Seyfert II galaxy NGC 1068, which was included in the source catalog search. The excess at the coordinates of NGC 1068 is inconsistent with background expectations at the level of 2.9σ after accounting for statistical trials from the entire catalog. The combination of this result along with excesses observed at the coordinates of three other sources, including TXS 0506+056, suggests that, collectively, correlations with sources in the northern catalog are inconsistent with background at 3.3σ significance. The southern catalog is consistent with background. These results, all based on searches for a cumulative neutrino signal integrated over the 10 years of available data, motivate further study of these and similar sources, including time-dependent analyses, multimessenger correlations, and the possibility of stronger evidence with coming upgrades to the detector.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the deposition rate of Artemisia pollen in different nasal cavity regions and its influence factors in residents of northwest China. Methods: Thirty healthy adults from northwest China were enrolled. The computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and discrete phase model (DPM) were used for numerical simulation of nasal structures. The pollen deposition fraction in each anatomical part was counted and the effects of pollen density and breathing rate on deposition were analyzed. SPSS 19.0 software was used for statistical analysis. Results: The hottest deposition parts of Artemisia pollen were nasal septum (30.70%±12.27%), vestibule (27.45%±8.21%), middle turbinate area (13.59%±8.98%) and nasopharynx (7.14%±5.90%). When the inspiratory flow rate increased to 30 L/min, the deposition rates of pollen in nasal vestibule and nasal septum were significantly higher than that at the rate of 15 L/min (43.20%±11.14% vs 27.45%±8.21%, 51.48%±9.77% vs 30.70%±12.27%, t value was -8.126,-5.264, respectively, all P<0.05), which indicated that with the increase of the inspiratory flow rate, the deposition hotspot moved forward. Compared with the wet Artemisia pollen, the deposition rate of the dry pollen in nasal vestibule and nasal septum decreased significantly (16.55%±4.33% vs 27.45%±8.21%, 7.09%±3.69% vs 30.70%±12.27%, t value was 8.669, 9.173, respectively, all P<0.05). The escape rate at outlet increased from 17.00%±9.57% to 43.48%±13.43% (t=-9.282, P<0.05). Conclusions: The deposition of Artemisia pollen in nasal cavity is highly concentrated. The inhalation velocity and the dry-wet degree of pollen are the main determinants of the deposition site.
