Abstract
OBJECTIVE Acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) is greatly threatening human health with high morbidity and mortality. The pathogenesis of ARDS is closely related to the inflammatory response in patients. The micro-ribonucleic acid (miR)-155/nuclear factor-κB (NF-κB) signaling pathway is crucial in regulating the expression of inflammation-related genes. Therefore, the influences of miR-155/NF-κB signaling pathway on inflammatory factors in ARDS in neonatal pigs were explored in this study. MATERIALS AND METHODS The model of ARDS in neonatal pigs was established first. The expression levels of miR-155, NF-κB-related proteins, and inflammatory factors in model group and control group were detected, and their differences were compared. Moreover, after treatment with the miR-155/NF-κB signaling pathway inhibitor, the changes of the inflammatory factors expression in ARDS neonatal pigs were observed at different time points. RESULTS In the model group, the levels of miR-155 and NF-κB-related proteins were significantly increased, and the levels of inflammatory factors, including interleukin-1β (IL-1β), tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), and IL-6, were also increased synchronously. However, the levels of IL-4 and IL-10 declined significantly. In addition, it was proved that after treatment with the inhibitor in model group the mRNA expressions of miR-155/NF-κB signaling pathway-related proteins were significantly inhibited, and the levels of IL-1β, TNF-α, and IL-6 were also significantly inhibited (p<0.05). The levels of IL-4 and IL-10 remarkably rose after treatment with the inhibitor for 24 h (p<0.05). CONCLUSIONS The miR-155/NF-κB signaling pathway influenced the changes of inflammatory factors in ARDS in neonatal pigs, which might be a potential target for eliminating the inflammatory response after ARDS in neonatal pigs.

Abstract
Clubroot caused by Plasmodiophora brassicae is an important disease of brassica crops. The use of vital stains to determine the viability of P. brassicae resting spores can provide useful information regarding spore longevity, inoculum potential, or the efficacy of antimicrobial treatments. Evans blue is one example of a vital stain that has been reported to differentially stain viable and nonviable resting spores. Some previously published protocols using Evans blue to stain P. brassicae resting spores have not provided accurate or consistent results. In this study, we modified the Evans blue method by increasing the staining time to 8 h or more and evaluated P. brassicae resting spores after heat treatment at various combinations of temperature and time. Extending staining times significantly increased the numbers of stained resting spores up to 7 h, after which the numbers of stained spores did not change significantly (R2 = 96.88; P ≤ 0.001). The accuracy of the modified method to discriminate viable and nonviable spores was evaluated in repeated experiments and by comparing the staining data with those derived from inoculation assays and propidium monoazide quantitative PCR (qPCR). The results demonstrated that the modified Evans blue staining method improved the accuracy and consistency of measurement of P. brassicae resting spore viability. Additionally, it was equivalent to the qPCR method for differentiating viable and nonviable spores (R2 = 99.84; P ≤ 0.001) and confirmed in canola infection bioassays.

Abstract
Bone morphogenetic protein (BMP) signaling performs multiple essential functions during craniofacial development. In this study, we used the adult mouse incisor as a model to uncover how BMP signaling maintains tissue homeostasis and regulates mesenchymal stem cell (MSC) fate by mediating WNT and FGF signaling. We observed a severe defect in the proximal region of the adult mouse incisor after loss of BMP signaling in the Gli1+ cell lineage, indicating that BMP signaling is required for cell proliferation and odontoblast differentiation. Our study demonstrates that BMP signaling serves as a key regulator that antagonizes WNT and FGF signaling to regulate MSC lineage commitment. In addition, BMP signaling in the Gli1+ cell lineage is also required for the maintenance of quiescent MSCs, suggesting that BMP signaling not only is important for odontoblast differentiation but also plays a crucial role in providing feedback to the MSC population. This study highlights multiple important roles of BMP signaling in regulating tissue homeostasis.

Abstract
In this article, we report on the development of a time-of-flight based electron energy analyzer capable of measuring the 3-D momentum and energy distributions of very low energy (millielectronvolt-scale) photoemitted electrons. This analyzer is capable for measuring energy and 3-D momentum distributions of electrons with energies down to 1 meV with a sub-millielectronvolt energy resolution. This analyzer is an ideal tool for studying photoemission processes very close to the photoemission threshold and also for studying the physics of photoemission based electron sources.

Abstract
Background Co-administration of multiple antiemetics that inhibit several molecular pathways involved in emesis is required to optimize chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting (CINV) control in patients receiving highly emetogenic chemotherapy (HEC). NEPA, a fixed combination of a highly selective NK1 receptor antagonist, netupitant (300 mg), and the pharmacologically distinct 5-HT3RA, palonosetron (PALO 0.50 mg), has shown superior CINV prevention compared with PALO in cisplatin and anthracycline/cyclophosphamide-based settings. This study is the first head-to-head comparison of NEPA versus an aprepitant (APR)/granisetron (GRAN) regimen. Patients and methods This randomized, double-blind phase III study conducted in Asia was designed with the primary objective to demonstrate non-inferiority of a single oral dose of NEPA compared with a 3-day oral APR/GRAN regimen in chemotherapy-naïve patients receiving cisplatin-based HEC. All patients also received oral dexamethasone (DEX) on days 1–4. The primary efficacy endpoint was complete response (CR: no emesis/no rescue medication) during the overall (0–120 h) phase. Non-inferiority was defined as a lower 95% CI greater than the non-inferiority margin set at − 10%. Secondary efficacy endpoints included no emesis, no rescue medication, and no significant nausea (NSN). Results Treatment groups were comparable for the 828 patients analyzed: predominantly male (71%); mean age 54.5 years; ECOG 0–1 (98%); lung cancer (58%). NEPA demonstrated non-inferiority to APR/GRAN for overall CR [NEPA 73.8% versus APR/GRAN 72.4%, 95% CI (−4.5%, 7.5%)]. No emesis [NEPA 75.0% versus APR/GRAN 74.0%, 95% CI (−4.8%, 6.9%)] and NSN rates [NEPA 75.7% versus APR/GRAN 70.4%, 95% CI (−0.6%, 11.4%)] were similar between groups, but significantly more NEPA patients did not take rescue medication [NEPA 96.6% versus APR/GRAN 93.5%, 95% CI (0.2%, 6.1%)]. NEPA was well tolerated with a similar safety profile to APR/GRAN. Conclusions In this first study comparing NK1RA regimens and DEX, NEPA administered only on day 1 was non-inferior to a 3-day oral APR/GRAN regimen in preventing CINV associated with HEC.

Abstract
The membrane-spanning domain (MSD) of the transmembrane subunit (TM) anchors the envelope glycoprotein (Env) on the lipid bilayer of the host cell membrane and virions. Its functions include membrane fusion efficiency and intracellular trafficking of the lentivirus envelope protein. Our study aimed to determine the MSD of bovine immunodeficiency virus (BIV) glycoprotein 45 (gp45) and reveal structural characteristics of the BIV Env protein. We have predicted the region of the BIV MSD and obtained the sequence using bioinformatics software. Various kinds of assays, including analogy analysis, fluorescence microscopy, and dye-transfer-based assays, were carried out to validate the prediction. The results, for the first time, show that the BIV MSD is located at the D170 to M191 amino acids of gp45, and the identified MSD divides gp45 into the extracellular domain (ED), MSD and cytoplasmic domain (CT). We further found that the BIV MSD had a similar structure and function as the HIV MSD using amino acid sequence alignment and fluorescence microscopy. Additionally, the dye-transfer-based assay demonstrates that deletion of the BIV MSD efficiently decreases cell-cell fusion. Based on the identification of the MSD, a "snorkeling" model, in which the flanking charged amino acid residues are buried in the lipid bilayer while their side chains interact with polar head groups, was proposed for the BIV MSD. Ultimately, we further improved the primary structure of the BIV envelope glycoprotein.

Abstract
Precision results on cosmic-ray electrons are presented in the energy range from 0.5 GeV to 1.4 TeV based on 28.1×10^{6} electrons collected by the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer on the International Space Station. In the entire energy range the electron and positron spectra have distinctly different magnitudes and energy dependences. The electron flux exhibits a significant excess starting from 42.1_{-5.2}^{+5.4} GeV compared to the lower energy trends, but the nature of this excess is different from the positron flux excess above 25.2±1.8 GeV. Contrary to the positron flux, which has an exponential energy cutoff of 810_{-180}^{+310} GeV, at the 5σ level the electron flux does not have an energy cutoff below 1.9 TeV. In the entire energy range the electron flux is well described by the sum of two power law components. The different behavior of the cosmic-ray electrons and positrons measured by the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer is clear evidence that most high energy electrons originate from different sources than high energy positrons.

Abstract
目的 探讨口服美法仑联合大剂量地塞米松(MDex)方案一线治疗原发性轻链型淀粉样变(pAL)的疗效。 方法 收集2009年1月至2017年7月接受MDex方案治疗的76例初治pAL患者临床资料,对其疗效及生存进行回顾性分析。 结果 ①76例患者中,男47例,女29例,中位年龄为56(20~74)岁。66例患者可进行梅奥2004分期(1、2、3期者分别为21、32、13例),65例(85.53%)患者存在≥2个器官受累。中位疗程数为5(1~21)个。②在可评价疗效的60例患者中,总体血液学缓解率为48.33%(29/60),完全缓解率和非常好的部分缓解率均为20.00%(12/60),获得最佳血液学缓解的中位时间为5(1~15)个月;总体器官缓解率为36.67%(22/60)。③生存患者的中位随访时间为23(1~113)个月,中位无进展生存(PFS)及总生存(OS)时间及分别为34、43个月。治疗3个月后仍存活患者的中位PFS和OS时间分别为46、65个月。④梅奥2004分期3期和1~2期患者的中位OS时间分别为5、65个月,差异有统计学意义(P=0.001)。 结论 MDex方案是pAL早期患者一种有效的治疗手段,但不适用于心脏受累的晚期患者。

Abstract
目的 评价在初治重型/极重型再生障碍性贫血(SAA/VSAA)患者抗胸腺/淋巴细胞免疫球蛋白(ATG/ALG)联合环孢素A的强化免疫抑制治疗(IST)中,采用泊沙康唑初级预防真菌感染的疗效及安全性。 方法 回顾性分析北京协和医院2013年4月至2017年5月接受强化IST及抗真菌初级预防的58例SAA患者资料,根据抗真菌预防药物分为泊沙康唑预防组和对照组(伊曲康唑或氟康唑预防),对比两组患者疾病特征、侵袭性真菌病(IFD)预防效果及药物不良反应。 结果 58例初治SAA/VSAA患者中,泊沙康唑预防组20例,对照组38例(伊曲康唑预防23例,氟康唑预防15例)。两组患者基线特征(性别、年龄、疾病严重程度、病因、起病到治疗间隔时间、ATG/ALG种类)差异均无统计学意义(P值均>0.1)。泊沙康唑预防组和对照组IFD发生率分别为0和15.8%(P=0.084),对照组6例IFD中确诊、拟诊、未确定各2例;5例为肺部感染,1例为血流感染。在VSAA中,8例泊沙康唑预防组患者无一例发生IFD,15例对照组患者5例发生IFD。泊沙康唑预防组未见明显不良反应。 结论 在SAA/VSAA的强化IST中,本回顾性分析结果提示采用泊沙康唑初级预防真菌感染有效、安全,对于VSAA患者效果明显。

目的 探讨多重实时荧光定量PCR法早期、快速筛查Ph样急性淋巴细胞白血病(ALL)的可行性,了解Ph样ALL的临床特征及预后。 方法 2010年10月至2016年3月收治的118例初诊成人B-ALL患者纳入研究,利用多重实时荧光定量PCR法检测其中58例BCR-ABL融合基因和MLL重排均阴性患者Ph样相关融合基因及细胞因子受体样因子2(CRLF2)表达情况。比较分析Ph样融合基因阳性和(或)CRLF2高表达患者的临床特征、疗效和预后。 结果 检出Ph样融合基因阳性患者9例(9/58,15.5%),CRLF2高表达患者10例(10/58,17.2%)。Ph样融合基因阳性和(或)CRLF2高表达组、Ph阳性组、MLL重排阳性组以及其他患者组在年龄、WBC、免疫分型、细胞遗传学、危险度分组方面差异有统计学意义(P值均<0.01)。四组患者的2年总生存率分别为65%、47%、64%、74%(P=0.043),2年无复发生存率分别为51%、39%、62%、70%(P=0.010)。 结论 采用多重实时荧光定量PCR法筛查Ph样ALL患者可行,Ph样ALL患者预后较差。

Abstract
PURPOSE Protein phosphorylation plays a key role in tumorigenesis and progression. However, little is known about the phosphoproteome profiles of growth hormone-secreting pituitary adenomas (GH-PAs). The aim of this study was to identify critical biomarkers and signaling pathways that might play important roles in GH-PAs and may, therefore, represent potential therapeutic targets. METHODS The differential phosphoprotein expression patterns involved in GH-PAs were investigated by nano-LC-MS/MS in a group of samples. The phosphoprotein expression data were analyzed by bioinformatics. The expression levels of the candidate phosphorylated AMPK (ser496) and ATF2 (ser112) were validated by Western blot analysis in another group of samples. RESULTS A total of 1213 phosphorylated protein sites corresponding to 667 proteins were significantly different between GH-PAs and healthy pituitary glands. Among these phosphorylated sites, 871 exhibited lower levels of phosphorylation in GH-PAs. Moreover, 140 novel phosphosites corresponding to 93 proteins were differentially phosphorylated between GH-PAs and healthy pituitary glands, 101 of which showed decreased phosphorylation in GH-PAs. The majority of differentially expressed phosphorylated proteins were significantly enriched in glycolysis and the AMPK signaling pathway in GH-PAs. The AMPK signaling pathway was demonstrated to be inhibited in GH-PAs by pathway activity analysis (z score = - 2.324). Notably, the phosphorylated levels of AMPK (ser496) and ATF2 (ser112) were significantly lower in GH-PAs than in healthy pituitary glands. CONCLUSION These findings suggest that decreased phosphorylation of the AMPK/ATF2 pathway may be critical for glucose metabolism and tumorigenesis in GH-PAs.

Abstract
Precision measurements of cosmic ray positrons are presented up to 1 TeV based on 1.9 million positrons collected by the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer on the International Space Station. The positron flux exhibits complex energy dependence. Its distinctive properties are (a) a significant excess starting from 25.2±1.8 GeV compared to the lower-energy, power-law trend, (b) a sharp dropoff above 284_{-64}^{+91} GeV, (c) in the entire energy range the positron flux is well described by the sum of a term associated with the positrons produced in the collision of cosmic rays, which dominates at low energies, and a new source term of positrons, which dominates at high energies, and (d) a finite energy cutoff of the source term of E_{s}=810_{-180}^{+310} GeV is established with a significance of more than 4σ. These experimental data on cosmic ray positrons show that, at high energies, they predominantly originate either from dark matter annihilation or from other astrophysical sources.

Abstract
The purpose of our study was aimed to determine the functional role of microRNA (miR)-182 in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) and try to clarify its underlying molecular mechanism. Expression of miR-182 in both cancer and peripheral blood samples was analyzed by quantitative real-time PCR (qRT-PCR). Human RCC line Caki-1 cells were transfected with miR-182 mimic, miR-182 inhibitor, or negative controls, and then the cell viability, colony-formation ability, migration, and invasion assay were determined. Luciferase reporter assay, qRT-PCR and Western blotting were used to determine whether insulin-like growth factor 1 receptor (IGF1R) was a target of miR-182. Further, small interfering RNA (siRNA) against IGF1R was co-transfected with miR-182 inhibitor into cells, and then the effects on migration and invasion were assessed. MiR-182 was down-regulated in both cancer and blood samples compared to the matched non-tumor adjacent tissues and healthy volunteers, respectively (both P<0.05). Compared to the control group, cell viability, colony-forming ability, and numbers of migrated and invaded cells were significantly decreased by transfection with miR-182 mimic but were markedly increased by miR-182 inhibitor (all P < 0.05). Luciferase reporter assay confirmed that IGF1R was a target gene of miR-182, and IGF1R was negatively regulated by miR-182. Co-transfection of miR-182 inhibitor with si-IGF1R reversed the effect of miR-182 inhibitor on the migration and invasion of the cells. MiR-182 functions as an anti-oncogene in ccRCC, and miR-182-mediated inhibition of cell migration and invasion might be through directly targeting IGF1R.

Abstract
目的 研究血清游离轻链(sFLC)检测在原发性轻链型淀粉样变(pAL)中的诊断和预后价值。 方法 回顾性分析2009年1月至2015年6月确诊且有完整sFLC数据的126例pAL患者的临床资料,探讨sFLC的诊断价值,并采用Cox回归法分析sFLC差值(dFLC)的预后价值。 结果 126例患者中男女比例为1.57∶1,中位年龄为57 (37~81)岁,λ轻链型者80例(63.5%),肾脏受累者87例(69.0%),心脏受累者79例(62.7%)。126例患者的中位dFLC为99 (1~4 263)mg/L。血清蛋白电泳、血清免疫固定电泳、尿免疫固定电泳和sFLC比值异常法检测单克隆免疫球蛋白(M蛋白)的阳性检出率分别为34.9%(44/126)、63.5%(80/126)、77.0%(97/126)和81.0%(102/126)。联合上述四种方法可将M蛋白的检出率提高至98.4%(124/126)。中位随诊16个月后,37例患者死亡,所有患者的中位生存时间尚未达到。多因素分析发现dFLC ≥130 mg/L是影响pAL患者预后的独立危险因素(HR=3.272, 95% CI 1.384~7.739,P=0.007)。 结论 sFLC检测可显著提高pAL患者M蛋白的检出率;高水平dFLC是影响患者预后的独立危险因素。

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To explore whether miR-216a-3p could promote differentiation of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BMMSCs) into type II alveolar epithelial cells (ACE II) via Wnt/β-catenin pathway, thereby alleviating neonatal respiratory distress syndrome (NRDS). MATERIALS AND METHODS BMMSCs were directionally differentiated into ACE II cells. Expressions of ACE II cell-specific transcription factors Occludin, KGF, CK18, SpA, SpB, and SpC were detected at the different time points after cell differentiation. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was applied to detect inflammatory factors in the culture medium, including interleukin-1 (IL-1), interleukin-10 (IL-10), tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), and Interferon-α (INF-α). After overexpression or knockdown of miR-216a-3p in BMMSCs, expressions of ACE II cell-specific transcription factors and inflammatory factors were detected by quantitative Real Time-Polymerase Chain Reaction (qRT-PCR) and Western blot. Rescue experiments were carried out after DKK-1 treatment in BMMSCs. RESULTS Expressions of ACE II cell-specific transcription factors Occludin, KGF, CK18, SpA, SpB, and SpC were elevated with the prolongation of cell differentiation. Overexpression of miR-216a-3p elevated levels of pro-inflammatory factors (IL-1, TNF-α, and INF-α) and reduced anti-inflammatory factor (IL-10). Expressions of ACE II cell-specific transcription factors Occludin, KGF, CK18, SpA, SpB, and SpC were remarkably increased at 7 d and 14 d compared to those detected at 1 d. Overexpression of miR-216a-3p in BMMSCs downregulated Wnt3a expression. The regulatory effect of miR-216a-3p on BMMSCs differentiation was partially reversed by DKK-1 treatment. CONCLUSIONS Knockdown of miR-216a-3p induces differentiation of BMMSCs into ACE II cells through Wnt/β-catenin pathway, thereby alleviating NRDS.

Abstract
Objective: To explore the effects of menopausal factor on fine anatomy of bladder, urethra and vagina in women undergoing vaginal delivery. Methods: Gynecological patients in Nanfang hospital from January 2013 to October 2016 were collected, and then the patients whose MRI images quality meet the require of reconstruction, with the history of vaginal delivery experience, without any cesarean section experience, and the first labor time was ≤30 years old were enrolled. The patients who had pelvic floor dysfunction when done MRI examinations were excluded. Finally, 238 cases were randomly selected out, and 238 models of data were reconstructed and measured by Mimics and UG software. The independent t test was used to do the comparison between menopausal group and those not yet menopause. Results: First, we built 238 3D models totally. Second, the parameters related with bladder and urethra: the angle of bladder and urethra, β angle, urethra pubic angle, α angle, retropubic space, the length between bladder neck and edge of pubic midpoint, and urethral striated muscle thickness of menopausal group were bigger than those of pre-menopausal group. While for the urethra tilt angle, the former group was smaller than that of the latter group. But there was no significant statistical differences between two groups. Third, the parameters related with vagina: the proximal urethral vaginal gap of the post-menopause group was smaller than that of pre-menopausal group, while for the middle and distal urethral vaginal gap, the former group was bigger than that of the latter group. The length and width of vaginal anterior wall of the post-menopausal group were smaller than those of pre-menopausal group. Beside the middle urethral vaginal gap, all the difference between two groups had no statistical meaning. The 2D shape of axial vaginal, H type occupation of the former group was obviously lower than that of the latter group. Conclusions: Menopause has an effect on fine anatomy of pelvic organ. Especially on the shape of vagina, the middle urethral vaginal gap become much wider after menopause, the occupation of shallow concave type become much higher post-menopausal. It means the lateral and backward support function of the urethra and vagina is relatively weakened after menopausal, and the shape of vagina become smaller.

Abstract
The effects of copper/zinc-loaded montmorillonite (Cu/Zn-Mt) on growth performance, mineral retention, intestinal morphology, mucosa antioxidant capacity, and cytokine contents in weaned piglets were investigated in the present study. One hundred eight piglets weaned at 21 ± 1 days of age (Duroc × Landrace× Yorkshire; average initial weight of 6.36 kg) were allotted to three treatments for 2 weeks. The three treatments were as follows: (1) control group: basal diet; (2) Cu/Zn-Mt group: basal diet + 39 mg/kg Cu and 75 mg/kg Zn as Cu/Zn-Mt; (3) Cu + Zn + Mt group: basal diet + mixture of CuSO4, ZnSO4, and Mt (equal amount of Cu, Zn, and Mt to the Cu/Zn-Mt group). Each treatment had six pens of six piglets. The results showed that as compared with the control group and the Cu + Zn + Mt group, Cu/Zn-Mt supplementation increased (P < 0.05) the average daily gain and the gain/feed ratio; Cu/Zn-Mt supplementation increased (P < 0.05) the Cu and Zn concentrations in serum, jejunum, and ileum mucosa, villus height, the ratio of villus height to crypt depth, and the activities of SOD, GSH-Px, and IL-10 levels, and decreased the malondialdehyde concentrations in the jejunum and ileum, and intestinal IL-1β, IL-6, and TNF-α levels. Moreover, supplementation with the mixture of CuSO4, ZnSO4, and Mt had no effect on the growth performance, but increased the mucosa Cu and Zn concentrations, intestinal morphology, antioxidant capacity, and immune function in the duodenum, while it had no effect on the above indexes in the jejunum and ileum. The results indicated that Mt could be used as a controlled carrier for Cu and Zn, which made Cu/Zn-Mt have better biological activities in the intestine than the mixture of Cu, Zn, and Mt.

Abstract
Structural and hierarchical anisotropy underlies the structure-function relationship of most living tissues. Attempts to exploit the interplay between cells and their immediate environment have rarely featured macroscale, three-dimensional constructs required for clinical applications. Furthermore, compromises to biomechanical robustness during fabrication often limit the scaffold's relevance in translational medicine. We report a polymeric three-dimensional scaffold with tendon-like mechanical properties and controlled anisotropic microstructures. The scaffold was composed of two distinct portions, which enabled high porosity while retaining tendon-like mechanical properties. When tenocytes were cultured in vitro on the scaffold, phenotypic markers of tenogenesis such as type-I collagen, decorin, and tenascin were significantly expressed over nonanisotropic controls. Moreover, highly aligned intracellular cytoskeletal network and high nuclear alignment efficiencies were observed, suggesting that microstructural anisotropy might play the epigenetic role of mechanotransduction. When implanted in an in vivo micropig model, a neotissue that formed over the scaffold resembled native tendon tissue in composition and structure.

Abstract
Wheat stripe (yellow) rust, caused by Puccinia striiformis West. f. sp. tritici (Pst), is one of the most destructive diseases in many wheat-growing countries, especially in China, the largest stripe rust epidemic area in the world. Growing the resistant cultivars is an effective, economic and environmentally friendly way to control this disease. Wheat cultivar Zhengmai 7698 has shown a high-level resistance to wheat stripe rust. To elucidate its genetic characteristics and location of the resistance gene, Zhengmai 7698 was crossed with susceptible variety Taichung 29 to produce F1, F2 and BC1 progeny generations. The genetic analysis showed that the stripe rust resistance in Zhengmai 7698 to Pst predominant race CYR32 was controlled by a single-dominant gene, named YrZM. Bulked segregant analysis and simple sequence repeat (SSR) markers were used to map the gene. Four SSR markers, Xbarc198, Xwmc179, Xwmc786 and Xwmc398 on chromosome 6BL were polymorphic between the parents and resistance, and susceptible bulks. A linkage genetic map was constructed using 212 F2 plants in the sequential order of Xwmc398, Xwmc179, YrZM, Xbarc198, Xwmc786. As this gene is effective against predominant race CYR32, it is useful in combination with other resistance genes for developing new wheat cultivars with resistance to stripe rust.

Abstract
PURPOSE This article aimed to investigate the effect of miR-497 on thyroid papillary carcinoma. MATERIALS AND METHODS miR-497 expression was analyzed using The Cancer Genome Atlas. A total of 56 papillary thyroid carcinoma patients' tumor tissues and normal tissues were collected. Nthy-ori 3-1 and K1 cells were cultured. K1 cells were also transfected. Quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction and Western blot were used to detect miR-497 and yes-associated protein 1 (YAP1) expression. Luciferase reporter assay was performed. MTT and Transwell assay were conducted to measure cells' proliferation, migration and invasion. Immunofluorescence detection was used to detect YAP1-positive cells. RESULTS miR-497 was downregulated, while YAP1 was upregulated in thyroid papillary carcinoma tissues and K1 cells (P<0.05). Compared with the negative control group, the OD495 value and the migrating and invasive cell number were significantly lower in miR-497 mimics group and significantly higher in miR-497 inhibitor group (P<0.05). YAP1 was the target gene of miR-497. Compared with blank group, the OD495 value and the migrating and invasive cell number were significantly lower in si-YAP1 group and significantly higher in miR-497 inhibitor group (P<0.05), while no significant difference was found between si-YAP1+inhibitors group and blank group in these indicators. CONCLUSION miR-497 regulated the proliferation, migration and invasion of K1 cells by negatively regulating YAP1 expression.

Abstract
We present high-statistics, precision measurements of the detailed time and energy dependence of the primary cosmic-ray electron flux and positron flux over 79 Bartels rotations from May 2011 to May 2017 in the energy range from 1 to 50 GeV. For the first time, the charge-sign dependent modulation during solar maximum has been investigated in detail by leptons alone. Based on 23.5×10^{6} events, we report the observation of short-term structures on the timescale of months coincident in both the electron flux and the positron flux. These structures are not visible in the e^{+}/e^{-} flux ratio. The precision measurements across the solar polarity reversal show that the ratio exhibits a smooth transition over 830±30 days from one value to another. The midpoint of the transition shows an energy dependent delay relative to the reversal and changes by 260±30 days from 1 to 6 GeV.

Abstract
A precision measurement of the nitrogen flux with rigidity (momentum per unit charge) from 2.2 GV to 3.3 TV based on 2.2×10^{6} events is presented. The detailed rigidity dependence of the nitrogen flux spectral index is presented for the first time. The spectral index rapidly hardens at high rigidities and becomes identical to the spectral indices of primary He, C, and O cosmic rays above ∼700 GV. We observed that the nitrogen flux Φ_{N} can be presented as the sum of its primary component Φ_{N}^{P} and secondary component Φ_{N}^{S}, Φ_{N}=Φ_{N}^{P}+Φ_{N}^{S}, and we found Φ_{N} is well described by the weighted sum of the oxygen flux Φ_{O} (primary cosmic rays) and the boron flux Φ_{B} (secondary cosmic rays), with Φ_{N}^{P}=(0.090±0.002)×Φ_{O} and Φ_{N}^{S}=(0.62±0.02)×Φ_{B} over the entire rigidity range. This corresponds to a change of the contribution of the secondary cosmic ray component in the nitrogen flux from 70% at a few GV to <30% above 1 TV.

Abstract
We present the precision measurement from May 2011 to May 2017 (79 Bartels rotations) of the proton fluxes at rigidities from 1 to 60 GV and the helium fluxes from 1.9 to 60 GV based on a total of 1×10^{9} events collected with the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer aboard the International Space Station. This measurement is in solar cycle 24, which has the solar maximum in April 2014. We observed that, below 40 GV, the proton flux and the helium flux show nearly identical fine structures in both time and relative amplitude. The amplitudes of the flux structures decrease with increasing rigidity and vanish above 40 GV. The amplitudes of the structures are reduced during the time period, which started one year after solar maximum, when the proton and helium fluxes steadily increase. Above ∼3 GV the p/He flux ratio is time independent. We observed that below ∼3 GV the ratio has a long-term decrease coinciding with the period during which the fluxes start to rise.

Abstract
We study the low-energy surface electronic structure of the transition-metal dichalcogenide superconductor PdTe_{2} by spin- and angle-resolved photoemission, scanning tunneling microscopy, and density-functional theory-based supercell calculations. Comparing PdTe_{2} with its sister compound PtSe_{2}, we demonstrate how enhanced interlayer hopping in the Te-based material drives a band inversion within the antibonding p-orbital manifold well above the Fermi level. We show how this mediates spin-polarized topological surface states which form rich multivalley Fermi surfaces with complex spin textures. Scanning tunneling spectroscopy reveals type-II superconductivity at the surface, and moreover shows no evidence for an unconventional component of its superconducting order parameter, despite the presence of topological surface states.

Abstract
Infection of hepatitis B virus (HBV) occurs in ~10% of infants of HBV-infected mothers with positive hepatitis B e antigen (HBeAg) after immunoprophylaxis. We aimed to evaluate the safety and efficacy of telbivudine used during late pregnancy for preventing mother-to-child transmission of HBV. We conducted a multicenter prospective cohort study in 5 hospitals from 2012 to 2014, which enrolled HBV-infected singleton pregnant women with positive HBeAg. By their choice, women were divided into therapy (telbivudine 600 mg/day, from gestation 28-32 weeks to 3-4 weeks postpartum) and control (no antiviral agent) groups. Infants received passive-active immunoprophylaxis and follow-up at the age of 7-14 months. Totally, 328 pregnant women were included: 149 in the telbivudine group and 179 in the control group. Baseline HBV DNA levels were similar in the 2 groups (7.43 vs 7.37 log10 IU/mL, P = .711). At delivery, HBV DNA levels in the telbivudine and control groups were 3.80 and 7.26 log10 IU/mL, respectively (P < .0001). Of the infants, 128 (85.9%) in the telbivudine group and 156 (87.2%) in the control group were followed up. No infant in the telbivudine group had chronic infection, while 2 (1.28%) infants in the control group did (P = .503). Three (2.34%) infants in the telbivudine group, but none in the control group, had severe congenital or developmental abnormalities (P = .090). The data indicate that telbivudine may block perinatal HBV transmission. However, larger studies are required to clarify whether anti-HBV therapy in pregnancy is associated with severe adverse effects in the foetuses and infants.
