Abstract
Objective: To examine the clinical feasibility of mixed reality navigation (MRN) technology based on multimodal imaging for the resection of intracranial eloquent lesions. Methods: Fifteen patients with intracranial eloquent lesions admitted to the Department of Neurosurgery, the First Medical Center, People's Liberation Army General Hospital from September 2020 to September 2021 were retrospectively enrolled. There were 7 males and 8 females, aged (50±16) years (range: 16 to 70 years). Postoperative pathological diagnosis included meningioma (n=7), metastatic carcinoma (n=3), cavernous hemangioma, glioma, ependymoma, aneurysmal changes and lymphoma (n=1, respectively). The open-source software was used to perform the three-dimensional visualization of preoperative images, and the self-developed MRN system was used to perform the fusion and interaction of multimodal images, so as to formulate the surgical plan and avoid damaging the eloquent white matter fiber tracts. Traditional navigation, intraoperative ultrasound and fluorescein sodium angiography were used to determine the extent of lesion resection. The intraoperative conditions of MRN-assisted surgery were analyzed, and the setup time and localization error of MRN system were measured. The changes of postoperative neurological function were recorded. Results: MRN based on multimodal imaging was achieved in all patients. The MRN system setup time (M(IQR)) was 36 (12) minutes (range: 20 to 44 minutes), and the localization error was 3.2 (2.0) mm (range: 2.6 to 6.7 mm). The reliability of eloquent white matter fiber tracts localization based on MRN was rated as "excellent" in 11 cases, "medium" in 3 cases, and "poor" in 1 case. There were no perioperative death and no new impairment in motor, language, or visual functions after operation. Transient limb numbness occurred in 1 patient after operation, and recovered to the preoperative state in 2 weeks after operation. Conclusion: The MRN system based on multimodal imaging can improve the surgical accuracy and safety, and reduce the incidence of iatrogenic neurological dysfunction.

Frequency division multiplexing readout of a transition edge sensor bolometer array with microstrip-type electrical bias lines. THE REVIEW OF SCIENTIFIC INSTRUMENTS 2022; 93:124901. Abstract
We demonstrate multiplexed readout of 43 transition edge sensor (TES) bolometers operating at 90 mK using a frequency division multiplexing (FDM) readout chain with bias frequencies ranging from 1 to 3.5 MHz and a typical frequency spacing of 32 kHz. We improve the previously reported performance of our FDM system by two important steps. First, we replace the coplanar wires with microstrip wires, which minimize the cross talk from mutual inductance. From the measured electrical cross talk (ECT) map, the ECT of all pixels is carrier leakage dominated. Only five pixels show an ECT level higher than 1%. Second, we reduce the thermal response speed of the TES detectors by a factor of 20 by increasing the heat capacity of the TES, which allows us to bias all TES detectors below 50% in transition without oscillations. We compare the current-voltage curves and noise spectra of the TESs measured in single-pixel mode and multiplexing mode. We also compare the noise equivalent power (NEP) and the saturation power of the bolometers in both modes, where 38 pixels show less than 10% difference in NEP and 5% difference in saturation power when measured in the two different modes. The measured noise spectrum is in good agreement with the simulated noise based on measured parameters from an impedance measurement, confirming that our TES is dominated by phonon noise.

Abstract
1. This study measured six reproduction traits in a Sichuan white goose population (209 individuals), including fertility, qualified egg rate, plasma concentrations of progesterone (P), follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), prolactin (PRL) and oestrogen (E2).2. Whole-genome resequencing data from the same goose population (209 individuals) were used in a genome-wide association study (GWAS) utilising a mixed linear model to investigate the genes and genetic markers associated with reproduction traits. The frequency of the selected SNPs and haplotypes were determined using the Matrix-Assisted Laser Desorption Ionisation Time-Of-Flight Mass Spectrometry (MALDI-TOF MS) method.3. In total, 42 SNPs significantly associated with these traits were identified. A haplotype block was constructed based on five SNPs that were significantly associated with qualified egg rate, with individuals having the haplotype CCTTAAGGAA having the lowest qualified egg rate.4. In conclusion, these results provided potential markers for marker-assisted selection to improve goose reproductive performance and a basis for elucidating the genetics of goose reproduction.

Abstract
Objective: To analyze the effect of selective bronchial occlusion (SBO) in the treatment of biliary bronchial fistula (BBF). Methods: Eight patients with BBF that without biliary obstruction admitted to the Department of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine, the First Affiliated Hospital of Naval Medical University from January 1, 2015 to December 31, 2021 were included in this study. Bronchial silicone plug (6 cases) and autologous blood+thrombin (2 cases) were used as sealing materials for SBO treatment for the first time. Among the 7 patients who underwent subsequent closure treatment, 5 cases were blocked by bronchial silicone plug, 1 case was blocked by "bronchial silicone plug+bullet-covered stent" and 1 case was blocked by "bronchial silicone plug+bronchial one-way valve". The clinical data related to SBO treatment were collected and patients were followed up, and the therapeutic effect of SBO on BBF was analyzed. Results: The age of BBF onset was (58±9) years old, including 6 males. Among the 6 patients who used bronchial silicone plug as plugging material in the first SBO treatment, 1 case was successfully plugged, 2 cases did not achieve symptoms relief after plugging, 2 cases coughed up the plugging device immediately after surgery, and 1 case developed a new fistula. Autologous blood and thrombin were used as sealing materials in 2 patients, and both failed. Among the 7 patients who received subsequent closure treatment, bronchial silicone plug+bullet-covered stent (1 case) and bronchial silicone plug+bronchial unidirectional valve (1 case) were successful. After 2-6 times of bronchial silicone plug (5 cases), fistula were successfully blocked in 3 cases, and the frequency and volume of bile-like sputum decreased by 50% or more in 2 cases. The main postoperative complications were fever and cough (expectoration) in 7 and 6 cases, respectively. During the follow-up period, 2 patients were lost to follow-up, and the remaining 6 patients were followed up for 2-31 months. During the follow-up period, the effect of closure treatment was basically stable, and there was no death case. Conclusion: SBO therapy provides a safe and feasible palliative treatment for BBF.

Abstract
We present improved germanium-based constraints on sub-GeV dark matter via dark matter-electron (χ-e) scattering using the 205.4 kg·day dataset from the CDEX-10 experiment. Using a novel calculation technique, we attain predicted χ-e scattering spectra observable in high-purity germanium detectors. In the heavy mediator scenario, our results achieve 3 orders of magnitude of improvement for m_{χ} larger than 80 MeV/c^{2} compared to previous germanium-based χ-e results. We also present the most stringent χ-e cross-section limit to date among experiments using solid-state detectors for m_{χ} larger than 90 MeV/c^{2} with heavy mediators and m_{χ} larger than 100 MeV/c^{2} with electric dipole coupling. The result proves the feasibility and demonstrates the vast potential of a new χ-e detection method with high-purity germanium detectors in ultralow radioactive background.

Exotic Dark Matter Search with the CDEX-10 Experiment at China's Jinping Underground Laboratory. PHYSICAL REVIEW LETTERS 2022; 129:221802. Abstract
A search for exotic dark matter (DM) in the sub-GeV mass range has been conducted using 205 kg day data taken from a p-type point contact germanium detector of the CDEX-10 experiment at China's Jinping underground laboratory. New low-mass dark matter searching channels, neutral current fermionic DM absorption (χ+A→ν+A) and DM-nucleus 3→2 scattering (χ+χ+A→ϕ+A), have been analyzed with an energy threshold of 160 eVee. No significant signal was found; thus new limits on the DM-nucleon interaction cross section are set for both models at the sub-GeV DM mass region. A cross section limit for the fermionic DM absorption is set to be 2.5×10^{-46} cm^{2} (90% C.L.) at DM mass of 10 MeV/c^{2}. For the DM-nucleus 3→2 scattering scenario, limits are extended to DM mass of 5 and 14 MeV/c^{2} for the massless dark photon and bound DM final state, respectively.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE Currently, there are still no convincing clinical models predicting closed lower extremity fracture-associated deep vein thrombosis in patients treated through thromboprophylactic methods. We aimed at using two retrospective cohorts to develop and externally verify a clinical prediction model for deep vein thrombosis in patients treated with anticoagulants after suffering closed lower extremity fractures. PATIENTS AND METHODS We evaluated the patients' pre- and post-operatively, to accurately determine the predictive power of the biomarkers and clinical risk factors. Two retrospective cohorts were used for the development and external verification of a pre-operative clinical prediction model (development: n = 2,253; verification: n = 833) and post-operative clinical prediction model (development: n = 1,422; verification: n = 449), respectively. RESULTS The C-indices were used to show the predicted incidence of objective thrombosis at the pre- and post-operative stage, which were then compared with the observed incidence of thrombosis in both cohorts. Biomarkers and clinical indicators were included in pre- and post-operative nomograms, which were adequately calibrated in both cohorts. The cross-validated C-indices of the pre- and post-operative clinical prediction models in the verification cohort were 0.706 (95% Cl, 0.67-0.74) and 0.875 (95% Cl, 0.84-0.91), respectively. CONCLUSIONS We present our findings of novel pre- and post-operative nomograms for the prediction of deep venous thrombosis in patients who received thromboprophylaxis after suffering closed lower extremity fractures.

Abstract
Objective: To analyze the clinical application and to evaluate the efficiency of hysteroscopical electroresection of International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics (FIGO) type 3 myoma. Methods: The clinical data of patients who underwent hysteroscopical electroresection single FIGO type 3 myoma in Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital of Fudan University from January 2019 to October 2021 were collected retrospectively. The clinical symptoms, myoma size, location, operation time, intraoperative bleeding, surgical complications and postoperative follow-up were recorded, and the subsequent pregnancy outcomes were followed-up. Results: Totally 35 patients with FIGO type 3 myoma were included in this study. The average age was (36.6±4.7) years old, the diameter of myoma was (4.0±1.2) cm (range: 2.0-5.8 cm). The rate of complete resection of myoma in one operation was 86% (30/35), the average operation time was (41±15) minutes (range: 20-65 minutes), and the average intraoperative bleeding was (24±18) ml (range: 5-150 ml). No complications such as uterine perforation, massive hemorrhage, hyperhyderation syndrome and infection occurred in all patients perioperation. There were 20 cases with significant increase of menstruation before operation, the cure rate and effective rate of hysteroscopical electroresection of FIGO type 3 myoma were 75% (15/20) and 95% (19/20). There were 24 patients with fertility requirements, their average follow-up time was (14.5±6.8) months, the pregnancy rate within 1 year after operation was 79% (19/24), and the average postoperative pregnancy time was (5.8±3.4) months. There were 15 cases who had completed delivery after operation, including 10 cases of vaginal delivery and 5 cases of cesarean section, and none of them had uterine rupture. Conclusions: Hysteroscopy could effectively resect FIGO type 3 myoma. Hysteroscopical electroresection of FIGO type 3 myoma is minimally invasive with rapid postoperative recovery and could achieve pregnancy in a short time, which is not only helpful to reduce the amount of menstruation, but also beneficial for the prognosis of fertility. It should be carried out by the experienced hysteroscopists.

Abstract
Objective: To compare the effects between second toe tibial dorsal artery flap (2-TDAF) and second toe tibial plantar proper artery flap (2-TPPAF) in repairing finger skin and soft tissue defects. Methods: A retrospective cohort study was conducted. From January 2019 to June 2020, 27 patients with skin and soft tissue defects at the fingertips with area of 1.5 cm×1.2 cm-2.6 cm×1.8 cm after debridement who met the inclusion criteria were admitted to Suzhou Ruihua Orthopaedic Hospital, including 21 males and 6 females, aged 19-59 (37±10) years. According to flap repair methods used in the defective fingers, the patients were divided into 2-TDAF group (12 cases) and 2-TPPAF group (15 cases). The area of 2-TDAF ranged from 1.5 cm×1.2 cm to 2.5 cm×1.6 cm, and the area of 2-TPPAF ranged from 1.7 cm×1.3 cm to 2.6 cm×1.8 cm. Full-thickness skin grafts from the medial side of the ipsilateral leg were grafted to the wounds in donor sites, and the wounds in donor sites of skin grafts were directly sutured. Flap arterial diameter, flap excision time, flap survival situation of patients in 2 weeks after operation, and follow-up time were recorded. At the last follow-up, the two-point discrimination distance of flap graft site, total action motion (TAM) of the finger joints, and wound healing of the flap donor site were recorded; the Vancouver scar scale (VSS) was used to score the scar in donor area of the second toe and the recipient area of fingers; the appearance and self-satisfaction subscales of the Michigan hand outcomes questionnaire (MHQ) were used to evaluate the affected finger. Data were statistically analyzed with independent sample t test or Fisher's exact probability test. Results: The flap artery diameter of patients in 2-TDAF group was 0.35-0.80 (0.56±0.14) mm and the flap cutting time was (14.0±2.7) min, which were significantly shorter than 0.80-1.35 (1.02±0.16) mm and (19.7±3.4) min in 2-TPPAF group (with t values of 7.81 and 4.79, respectively, P<0.01). The flaps of patients in the 2 groups in recipient areas survived well in 2 weeks after operation, and the wounds in donor areas of flaps of patients in the 2 groups healed well at the last follow-up. There was no statistically significant difference in the postoperative follow-up time, and two-point discrimination distance of flap graft site, TAM of the finger joints, VSS score of scar in the second toe donor site and the finger recipient site, and the appearance and self-satisfaction of MHQ scores of the affected finger at the last follow-up (P>0.05). Conclusions: Compared with 2-TPPAF, 2-TDAF has a shallower anatomical layer and shorter time for surgical flap removal, which can preserve the proper arteries and nerves at the base of the toes and reduce the damage to the donor site.

Abstract
Objective: To estimate the excess mortality attributed to non-optimal ambient temperature in China. Methods: Mortality data and meteorological data from 239 counties in 2013-2018 were collected to simulate the quantitative exposure-response relationship between the temperature and mortality using distributed lag nonlinear models for time series studies. Then the number of non-optimal-temperature-related excess deaths was assessed and the spatial distribution was explored. Results: There were averagely (12±8) cases of all-cause deaths per day per county from 2013 to 2018. The average daily temperature was (14.98±10.31)℃, and the daily average relative humidity was (68.79±17.25)%. The daily average O3 concentration was (58.95±34.96) μg/m³, and the daily average PM2.5 concentration was (54.97±45.56) μg/m³. The exposure-response curve between daily average temperature and all-cause mortality showed a "U" shape, and the theoretical minimum mortality temperature (MMT) corresponding to the minimum number of deaths was 21.60 ℃. When the temperature was higher than MMT, the heat-related health effect increased with the temperature rising. When the temperature was lower than MMT, the cold-related effect increased with the temperature decreasing. The attributable fraction (AF) of death caused by non-optimal temperature was 8.76% (95%CI: 8.07%-9.10%), and the AF of death caused by cold effect and heat effect was 7.21% (95%CI: 6.51%-7.57%) and 1.55% (95%CI: 1.46%-1.61%), respectively. The excess deaths from non-optimal temperature in 2015 were 519 122, 72.98% of which could be attributed to low temperature. The number of excess deaths caused by non-optimal temperature mainly showed a decreasing trend from the east to the west, relatively high (117 522) in East China. Heilongjiang Province (in Northeast China) had the most excess deaths (26 924) caused by low temperature, and Guangdong Province(in South China) had the most excess deaths (27 763) caused by high temperature. Conclusion: The non-optimal temperature has a significant impact on health and causes a considerable burden of disease in China with obvious spatial heterogeneity.

Abstract
Dyslipidemia is an important risk factor of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD). Statins delay the occurrence and development of ASCVD, and reduce the risk of cardiovascular events and death. Due to safety concerns, there exist insufficient use of lipid-lowering agents and a high withdrawal rate of the agents in the elderly. To promote the prevention and treatment of ASCVD, this expert consensus is issued and focuses on the management of dyslipidemia of Chinese elderly basing on the clinical evidence of the use of lipid-lowering drugs by the elderly, and the lipid management guidelines and expert consensus recommendations at home and abroad.

Abstract
Materials with super-wetting ability have attracted wide attention from both academia and industry due to their great potential applications. A straightforward and versatile route was proposed for the large-scale synthesis of a monodisperse raspberry-like metal-organic framework (ZIF-8) using zinc nitrate as a zinc source and dimethylimidazole as an organic ligand in aqueous solution. After hydrophobic treatment with hexadecyltrimethoxysilane, the ethanolic suspension of three-dimensional raspberry-like ZIF-8 showed excellent superhydrophobic properties. Furthermore, commercial adhesives were used to blend with the suspension to improve the bonding strength to different substrates. These surfaces retained their water resistance after 50 finger-wipe cycles, 40 sandpaper abrasions and knife scratches. Moreover, the prepared hydrophobic surface can withstand the impact of water flow for 10 minutes. The formulations developed can be used for superhydrophobic coating applications on different substrate surfaces such as aluminum foil, glass, paper and cotton.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To investigate the effect of indirubin for relieving joint inflammation and injury in a rat model of osteoarthritis. METHODS Articular cartilage chondrocytes were isolated from adult rat knee joint and cultured in the presence of interleukin-1β (IL-1β) and 0.1, 0.5, 1.0, or 2.0 μmol/L indirubin. The cells were transfected with NPAS2 siRNA or a non-specific siRNA, and the cell proliferation and apoptosis were evaluated using tetramethylthiazole blue staining and flow cytometry. The protein expression levels of Bax, Bcl-2, ACAN, COL2A1, MMP-13 and NPAS2 were detected with Western blotting, and the levels of NO, PGE2 and TNF-α in the culture supernatant were determined with ELISA. The mRNA expression levels of NPAS2, ACAN, COL2A1 and MMP-13 were detected using fluorescence quantitative PCR. In a C57BL/6 mouse model of osteoarthritis, the effect of indirubin on BAX, Bcl-2, ACAN and MMP-13 protein expressions in the bone and joint tissues were evaluated with Western blotting. RESULTS Treatment with 0.1 μmol/L indirubin produced no significant changes in chondrocyte proliferation, apoptosis, caspase-3 activity, or BAX and Bcl-2 protein expressions. At higher doses (0.5, 1.0 and 2.0 μmol/L), indirubin significantly promoted cell proliferation, increased Bcl-2 protein expression, and lowered cell apoptosis rate, caspase-3 activity and Bax protein expression (P < 0.05). Indirubin treatment at 0.5 μmol/L up-regulated the protein and mRNA expressions of NPAS2, ACAN and COL2A1, and down-regulated the expressions of MMP-13, NO, PGE2 and TNF-α (P < 0.05). Interference of NPAS2 expression significantly attenuated the protective effect of 0.5 μmol/L indirubin against IL-1β-induced chondrocyte injury. The mouse model of osteoarthritis showed obviously increased protein levels of BAX and MMP-13 (P < 0.01) and decreased levels of Bcl-2 (P < 0.05) and ACAN (P < 0.01) in the knee joint, and indirubin treatment of the mouse models significantly inhibited the increase of BAX and MMP-13 protein expressions (P < 0.01) and up-regulated the protein expressions of Bcl-2 and ACAN (P < 0.05). CONCLUSION Indirubin has a protective effect on osteoarthritis tissue and alleviates inflammation and damage of osteoarthritis chondrocytes possibly through NPAS2.

Synovitis mediates the association between bone marrow lesions and knee pain in osteoarthritis: data from the Foundation for the National Institute of Health (FNIH) Osteoarthritis Biomarkers Consortium. Osteoarthritis Cartilage 2022; 30:1270-1277. Abstract
OBJECTIVES Although subchondral bone marrow lesions (BMLs) and synovitis have been well acknowledged as important sources of pain in knee osteoarthritis (KOA), it is unclear if synovitis plays the mediating role in the relationship between BMLs and knee pain. METHODS We analyzed 600 subjects with magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in the Foundation for National Institutes of Health Osteoarthritis Biomarkers Consortium (FNIH) cohort at baseline and 24-month. BMLs and synovitis were measured according to the MRI Osteoarthritis Knee Score (MOAKS) scoring system. BMLs were scored in five subregions. A summary synovitis score of effusion and Hoffa-synovitis was calculated. Knee pain was evaluated using the Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis Index (WOMAC). Linear regression models were applied to analyze the natural direct effect (NDE) of BMLs and synovitis with knee pain, respectively, and natural indirect effect (NIE) mediated by synovitis. RESULTS 590 participants (58.8% females, with a mean age of 61.5) were included in the present analyses. For NDE, knee pain was cross-sectionally associated with medial femorotibial BMLs (β = 0.23, 95% CI: 0.09, 0.38) and synovitis (β = 0.40, 95% CI: 0.20, 0.60). Longitudinal associations retained significant [medial femorotibial BMLs (β = 0.37, 95% CI: 0.21, 0.53); synovitis (β = 0.72, 95% CI: 0.45, 0.99)]. In the NIE analyses, synovitis mediated the association between medial femorotibial BML and knee pain at baseline (β = 0.051, 95% CI: 0.01, 0.09) and over 24 months (β = 0.079, 95% CI: 0.023, 0.15), with the mediating proportion of 17.8% and 22.4%, respectively. CONCLUSION Synovitis partially mediates the association between medial femorotibial BMLs and knee pain.
