Abstract
To impart conductivity and improve the shear performance of epoxy resin-based adhesives, a simple, environmentally friendly, and stable method was used to deposit silver on the surface of 5 μm flake copper particles as a conductive filler. The core-shell metal fillers were prepared by utilizing the autocatalytic properties of Cu without adding any reducing agent during the reaction. An epoxy curing agent (MeTHPA) was used as a curing agent for the crosslinking reaction with epoxy resin to form a supporting skeleton of conductive components. The structure of flake plated Cu@Ag particles was characterized using scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS). It was verified that a layer of compact and crystalline silver with a concave-convex characteristic was deposited on the surface of copper particles. This feature has a positive effect on improving the performance of silver-plated copper particles. The results show that the optimal curing condition of flake plated Cu@Ag particle-epoxy composite electrically conductive adhesives (ECAs) was 200 °C for 1 h, the resistivity of flake plated Cu@Ag particle-epoxy composite ECAs with a content of flake plated Cu@Ag particles above 55 wt% was less than 6 × 10-5 Ω m, and the maximum shear strength was 8 MPa. The flake plated Cu@Ag particle-epoxy composite ECAs prepared by this method have excellent properties and have very important application value for advanced electronic devices.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To observe the effect of miR-335-5p derived from human bone marrow mesenchymal stem cell (hBMMSCs) exosomes on osteogenic differentiation of human periodontal ligament stem cell (PDLSCs) model of periodontitis and explore its mechanism. METHODS The exosomes extracted from hBMMSCs were identified by transmission electron microscopy, Western blotting and PKH67 labeling. The human PDLSC model of TNF-α-induced periodontitis were co-cultured with the extracted exosomes, and qRT-PCR was performed to detect the changes in the expressions of miR-335-5p and the mRNA levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines (IL-1β, IL-6, and IL-8) and the osteogenic marker genes (RunX2, OCN and BMP-2). Alizarin red staining and ALP staining were used to detect the formation of calcium nodules in the treated cells, and the expression level of DKK1 protein was detected with Western blotting. Dual luciferase reporter gene assay was used to verify the targeting relationship between miR-335-5p and DKK1. RESULTS High expressions of CD9 and CD81 were detected in the extracted hBMMSC exosomes (P < 0.05). In TNF-α-induced hPDLSCs, treatment with the extracted exosomes significantly reduced the mRNA expressions of IL-1β, IL-6 and IL-8, enhanced the mRNA expressions of RunX2, OCN, and BMP-2, and promoted the formation of calcium nodules. MiR-335-5p was highly expressed in hBMMSC-derived exosomes, and overexpression of miR-335-5p significantly downregulated DKK1 protein expression, inhibited the mRNA expressions of IL-1β, IL-6 and IL-8, and promoted the mRNA expressions of osteogenic markers and the formation of calcium nodules in hPDLSCs. CONCLUSION HBMMSC exosome-derived miR-335-5p promotes osteogenic differentiation of hPDLSCs and inhibits the development of periodontitis by downregulating DKK1.

Abstract
PURPOSE In this study, we aimed to identify risk factors for developing second primary malignancies (SPMs) in colorectal neuroendocrine neoplasms (NENs) patients and develop a competing-risk nomogram to predict SPMs' probabilities quantitatively. METHODS Patients with colorectal NENs were retrospectively collected from the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) database during 2000-2013. Potential risk factors for SPMs' occurrence in colorectal NENs' patients were identified by the Fine and Gray's proportional sub-distribution hazards model. Then, a competing-risk nomogram was constructed to quantify SPMs' probabilities. The discriminative abilities and calibrations of this competing-risk nomogram were assessed by the area under the receiver-operating characteristic (ROC) curves (AUC) and calibration curves. RESULTS We identified 11,017 colorectal NENs' patients, and randomly divided them into training (n = 7711 patients) and validation (n = 3306 patients) cohorts. In the whole cohort, 12.4% patients (n = 1369) had developed SPMs during the maximum follow-up of approximately 19 years (median 8.9 years). Sex, age, race, primary tumor location, and chemotherapy were identified as risk factors for SPMs' occurrence in colorectal NENs' patients. Such factors were selected to develop a competing-risk nomogram and showed excellent predictive ability for SPMs' occurrence (the 3-, 5-, and 10-year AUC values were 0.631, 0.632, and 0.629 in the training cohort and 0.665, 0.639, 0.624 in the validation cohort, respectively). CONCLUSIONS This research identified risk factors for SPMs' occurrence in colorectal NENs' patients. Competing-risk nomogram was constructed and proved to have good performance.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE The aim of this study was to explore the significance of serum CCL28 in Sjögren's syndrome (SS) diagnosis and evaluation. METHOD The expression of CCL28 mRNA in salivary glands of SS patients from the GEO database was analysed. Serum levels of CCL28 of SS patients, rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients, systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) patients, and healthy controls (HCs) were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. The serum immunoglobulin A (IgA) levels and the focus score of labial salivary gland (LSG) in patients with SS were also measured, and the correlation between serum IgA levels and serum CCL28 was explored. In addition, the level of serum CCL28 was compared between two subsets of SS patients who were classified by clinical symptoms and laboratory tests. RESULTS SS patients displayed decreased expression of CCL28 mRNA in salivary glands, accompanying more severe pathological injury. Serum levels of CCL28 in both primary and secondary SS patients were significantly lower than those in the HC group, whereas no significant differences were observed between RA patients or SLE patients and HCs. Compared with RA and SLE patients alone, serum levels of CCL28 were dramatically lower in patients with SS secondary to RA or SLE. No remarkable correlation between serum IgA and CCL28 levels was observed, while the focus score of LSG negatively correlated with serum CCL28 levels. Serum levels of CCL28 were lower in SS patients who had dental caries and thrombocytopenia. CONCLUSION Serum CCL28 is a useful biomarker in the diagnosis and evaluation of SS.

Abstract
Avian influenza virus (AIV) infection can lead to severe economic losses in the poultry industry and causes a serious risk for humans. A rapid and simple test for suspected viral infection cases is crucial. In this study, a reverse transcription recombinase-aided amplification assay (RT-RAA) for the rapid detection of all AIV subtypes was developed. The reaction temperature of the assays is at 39 °C and the detection process can be completed in less than 20 min. The specificity results of the assay showed that this method had no cross-reaction with other main respiratory viruses that affect birds, including Newcastle disease virus (NDV) and infectious bronchitis virus (IBV). The analytical sensitivity at a 95% confidence interval was 102 RNA copies per reaction. In comparison with a published assay for reverse transcription quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (RT-qPCR), the κ value of the RT-RAA assay in 384 avian clinical samples was 0.942 (p < 0.001). The sensitivity and specificity of the RT-RAA assay for avian clinical sample detection was determined as 97.59% (95% CI 93.55-99.23%) and 96.79% (95% CI 93.22-98.59%), respectively. The RT-RAA assay for AIV in this study provided an effective and practicable tool for AIV molecular detection.

Abstract
Unlike PIWI-interacting RNA (piRNA) in other species that mostly target transposable elements (TEs), >80% of piRNAs in adult mammalian testes lack obvious targets. However, mammalian piRNA sequences and piRNA-producing loci evolve more rapidly than the rest of the genome for unknown reasons. Here, through comparative studies of chickens, ducks, mice, and humans, as well as long-read nanopore sequencing on diverse chicken breeds, we find that piRNA loci across amniotes experience: (1) a high local mutation rate of structural variations (SVs, mutations ≥ 50 bp in size); (2) positive selection to suppress young and actively mobilizing TEs commencing at the pachytene stage of meiosis during germ cell development; and (3) negative selection to purge deleterious SV hotspots. Our results indicate that genetic instability at pachytene piRNA loci, while producing certain pathogenic SVs, also protects genome integrity against TE mobilization by driving the formation of rapid-evolving piRNA sequences.

Abstract
A helicene-containing arene and its linear analogue have been successfully synthesized and characterized, where the single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis indicates that the former can arrange in an offset packing style with a π-π overlap. The introduction of pentagon-rings into the parent skeletons in the resulting compounds can boost the stability, and such helicene-containing molecule possesses higher solubility in organic solvent than the linear analogue. The structural difference has significantly influenced the optical limiting performance. The former in solution and in doped gel glass presents higher optical limiting response towards 532 nm laser than the latter. This study can enrich the functionalization of helicene, which can possess a positive effect in terms of nonlinear optical property.

Abstract
Accurate and rapid measurement of wind speed and direction is an important research topic. However, the current measurement algorithms based on ultrasonic arrays are constrained by the large computational effort caused by the spectrum peak search, which hinders the development and application of ultrasonic array wind parameter measurement technology. To overcome this problem, this study applies an intelligent optimization algorithm for measuring wind speed and direction based on a co-prime arc ultrasonic array, which avoids the problem of a large number of calculations in the spectrum peak search. First, the spatial-spectral function of the propagator method algorithm is employed as the fitness function of the particle swarm optimization algorithm. Then, the wind parameter estimation problem is formulated as a function optimization problem, which realizes the fast and accurate measurement of wind speed and direction. Then, the artificial bee colony algorithm is used to measure wind speed and direction, further reducing the calculation amount of the wind parameter measurement. The performance and speed of the proposed method are verified by the design simulation and comparison experiments, reducing the time complexity by up to 90%. In addition, the feasibility of the proposed method is validated in hardware experiments.

Abstract
The prevalence of location-based services has generated a deluge of check-ins, enabling the task of human mobility understanding. Among the various types of information associated with the check-in venues, categories (e.g.,
Bar
and
Museum
) are vital to the task, as they often serve as excellent semantic characterization of the venues. Despite its significance and importance, a large portion of venues in the check-in services do not have even a single category label, such as up to 30% of venues in the Foursquare system lacking category labels. We therefore address the problem of semantic venue annotation, i.e., labeling the venue with a semantic category. Existing methods either fail to fully exploit the contextual information in the check-in sequences, or do not consider the semantic correlations across related categories. As such, we devise a Tree-guided Multi-task Embedding model (TME for short) to learn effective representations of venues and categories for the semantic annotation. TME jointly learns a common feature space by modeling multi-contexts of check-ins and utilizes the predefined category hierarchy to regularize the relatedness among categories. We evaluate TME over the task of semantic venue annotation on two check-in datasets. Experimental results show the superiority of TME over several state-of-the-art baselines.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the predictive value of glycosylated hemoglobin A1c/apolipoprotein A-1 (HbA1c/ApoA-1) ratio for major adverse cardiovascular events (MACEs) in patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS). Methods: The present study is a retrospective cohort study. ACS patients who were hospitalized and underwent coronary angiography at Beijing Hospital from March 2017 to March 2019 were enrolled. Baseline information such as sex, age, previous history, Gensini score, HbA1c and ApoA-1 were analyzed. Patients were divided into two groups according to presence or absence of MACEs and the difference on HbA1c/ApoA-1 ratio was compared between the two groups. According to the tertiles of HbA1c/ApoA-1 levels, patients were divided into high (5.87-16.12), medium (4.50-5.83) and low (2.11-4.48) HbA1c/ApoA-1 groups. Cox proportional risk model was used to evaluate the differences in MACEs and all-cause mortality among the three groups. Kaplan-Meier survival analysis was used to compare the differences of MACEs between the various HbA1c/ApoA-1 groups. Results: A total of 366 ACS patients were included in this study. The mean age of the patients was (65.9±10.3) years. There were 59 MACEs and 10 all-cause deaths during the mean of (22.3±4.4) months follow-up. After adjusting for age, systolic blood pressure, history of diabetes and Gensini score, the incidence of MACEs was 2.45 times higher in the high HbA1c/ApoA-1 group than in the low HbA1c/ApoA-1 group (95%CI 1.16-5.18, P=0.019). There was no significant difference in all-cause mortality between the high and low HbA1c/ApoA-1 groups (P=1.000). Kaplan-Meier survival analysis showed that patients in the high HbA1c/ApoA-1 group had the highest risk of MACEs, while patients in the low HbA1c/ApoA-1 group had the lowest risk of MACEs (P<0.01). Spearman rank correlation analysis showed that HbA1/ApoA-1 ratio was positively correlated with Gensini score in ACS patients (r=0.274, P<0.01). Conclusion: High HbA1c/ApoA-1 ratio was an independent risk factor for MACEs in ACS patients. Patients with high HbA1c/ApoA-1 ratio had more severe coronary artery disease lesions. HbA1c/ApoA-1 ratio may be used as a potential risk stratification biomarker for ACS patients, it might be useful for the early identification of high-risk population and for predicting the incidence of MACEs among ACS patients.

Abstract
Various transition-metal trichalcogenides (TMTC) show unique electronic properties, such as metal-insulator transition, topological insulator, and even superconducting transition. Currently, almost all metallic TMTC compounds can show superconductivity either at ambient pressure or at high pressure. However, most TMTC compounds are semiconductors and even insulators. Does superconductivity exist in any non-metallic TMTC compound by artificial manipulation? In this work, the electronic behavior of highly insulating HfS3 has been manipulated in terms of pressure. HfS3 undergoes an insulator-to-semiconductor transition near 17 GPa with a band gap reduction of ∼1 eV. Optical absorption, Raman spectroscopy, and X-ray diffraction measurements provide consistent results, suggesting the structural origin of the electronic transition. Upon further compression, HfS3 becomes a superconductor without further structural transition. The superconducting transition occurs as early as 50.6 GPa, and the Tc reaches 8.1 K at 121 GPa, which sets a new record for TMTCs. This work reveals that all TMTCs may be superconductors and opens a new avenue to explore the abundant emergent phenomena in the TMTC material family.

Abstract
The volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from cooking oil fumes are very complex and do harm to humans and the environment. Herein, we develop the high-efficiency and energy-saving synergistic photothermocatalytic oxidation approach to eliminate the mixture of heptane and hexanal, the representative VOCs with high concentrations in cooking oil fumes. The Pt/CeO2/TiO2 catalyst with nanosized Pt particles was prepared by the simple hydrothermal and impregnation methods, and the physicochemical properties of the catalyst were measured using numerous techniques. The Pt/CeO2/TiO2 catalyst eliminated the VOC mixture at low light intensity (100 mW cm-2) and low temperature (200 °C). In addition, it showed 25 h of catalytic stability and water resistance (water concentration up to 20 vol %) at 140 or 190 °C. It is concluded that O2 picked up the electrons from Pt to generate the •O2- species, which were transformed to the O22- and O- species after the rise in temperature. In the presence of water, the •OH species induced by light irradiation on the catalyst surface and the •OOH species formed via the thermal reaction were both supplementary oxygen species for VOC oxidation. The synergistic interaction of photo- and thermocatalysis was generated by the reactive oxygen species.

Abstract
PURPOSE This study (ClinicalTrials.gov identifier, NCT03676959) is an open, phase I dose-escalation and expansion study investigating the safety and efficacy of the recombinant, fully human anti-programmed death ligand 1 (PD-L1) mAb socazolimab in patients diagnosed with recurrent or metastatic cervical cancer. PATIENTS AND METHODS Patients received socazolimab every 2 weeks until disease progression. The study was divided into a dose-escalation phase and a dose-expansion phase. Safety and tolerability were primary endpoints of the dose-escalation phase. The primary endpoints of the dose-expansion phase were safety and the objective response rate (ORR) of the 5 mg/kg dose. Efficacy was assessed by the third-party independent review committee (IRC) using the Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors version 1.1 (RECIST 1.1). RESULTS 104 patients were successfully enrolled into the study. Twelve patients were included in the dose-escalation phase, with one complete response and two partial responses in the 5 mg/kg treatment group. Ninety-two patients (5 mg/kg) were enrolled in the dose-expansion phase. Fifty-four patients (59.3%) had baseline PD-L1-positive tumor expression (combined positive score ≥1). ORR was 15.4% [95% confidence interval (CI), 8.7%-24.5%]. Median PFS was 4.44 months (95% CI, 2.37-5.75 months), and the median OS was 14.72 months (95% CI, 9.59-NE months). ORR of PD-L1-positive patients was 16.7%, and the ORR of PD-L1-negative patients was 17.9%. No treatment-related deaths occurred. CONCLUSIONS Our study demonstrates that socazolimab has durable safety and efficacy for the treatment of recurrent or metastatic cervical cancer and exhibits a safety profile similar to other anti-PD-1/PD-L1 mAbs.
