Abstract
Curcumin has been testified to repress the development of multiple tumor cells. Nevertheless, the function of curcumin in colorectal cancer (CRC) is not completely clarified. This research was to explore the influence of curcumin on the development of CRC cells and its mechanism. An examination of circular RNA (circ) HN1, microRNA (miR)-302a-3p and phosphoinositide-3-kinase regulatory subunit 3 (PIK3R3) levels in clinical tissues was performed. Assessments of cell development including proliferation, apoptosis, migration, invasion, as well as epithelial-mesenchymal transition were conducted. The effects of curcumin and circHN1 were verified by in vivo tumor implantation experiments. The interaction of miR-302a-3p with circHN1 or PIK3R3 was analyzed. Curcumin repressed CRC cell development in a concentration-dependent manner. CircHN1 expression was augmented in CRC. Augmentation of circHN1 was able to turn around the repressive effects of curcumin on CRC cells. In vivo experiments indicated that low expression of circHN1 further promoted curcumin-mediated inhibition of CRC tumor growth. MiR-302a-3p was a target of circHN1, and suppression of miR-302a-3p was able to turn around the treatment effect of curcumin on CRC cells. Additionally, PIK3R3 was targeted by miR-302a-3p, and curcumin modulated the malignancy of CRC cells through the circHN1/miR-302a-3p/PIK3R3 pathway.

Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the characteristics of MRI T2 value changes of muscles around the knee joint in amateur marathon athletes based on T2 mapping. Methods: A total of 12 amateur marathon runners (5 males and 7 females) were recruited as the marathon group, aged from 21 to 37(27.5±5.4) years. MRI examination of bilateral knee joint was performed one week before the race, within 12 hours after the race and two months after the race, respectively. Fifteen healthy volunteers (5 males and 10 females) were recruited as the control group, aged from 24 to 27(24.9±1.0) years, and underwent MRI examination of both knee joints. The T2 mapping imaging sequence was used to measure the T2 values of the sartorius, vastus medialis, biceps femoris, semimembranosus, medial head of gastrocnemius and lateral gastrocnemius head on the post-processing platform, and analyzed the marathon group before and after the race. The differences in the T2 value of each muscle of the marathon group before and after the race within 12 hours, before and 2 months after the race, and between the control group and the marathon group before the marathon were analyzed. Results: All subjects had not knee joint pain during the examination. Routine MRI examination showed that there was no obvious abnormality in the shape and signal of the muscles around the knee joint. The T2 value of the semimembranosus [(34.3±2.8) ms vs (35.5±2.5) ms, P=0.008], medial head of gastrocnemius [(34.1±3.4) ms vs (37.7±3.1) ms,P<0.001] and lateral head of gastrocnemius [(35.2±2.9) ms vs (37.2±3.9) ms,P=0.011] increased after the competition compared with that of pre-competition in the marathon group, while the T2 value of the remaining muscles showed no significant difference compared with that of pre-competition(P>0.05). At the follow-up of 2 months, the T2 value of semimembranosus remains higher than before the marathon [(34.3±2.8) ms vs (35.4±2.5) ms,P=0.043], and the T2 value of the medial head of the gastrocnemius and lateral head of gastrocnemius showed no statistically difference compared with pre-competition (P>0.05). Compared with the control group, the T2 value of the lateral head of the gastrocnemius in the marathon group was decreased [(35.3±3.0) ms vs (38.5±4.1) ms,P=0.007]. There was no significant difference in the T2 value of the remaining muscles in the marathon group (P>0.05). Conclusions: After the marathon, the changes in the T2 value of the muscles around the knee joint is reversible. T2 mapping imaging sequence can indirectly reflect the changes of skeletal muscle microstructure to a certain extent.

Abstract
Background The ability of enteric pathogens to colonize and expand within the mammalian gastrointestinal (GI) tract is determined by several factors, including the ability to find and acquire nutrients. The thick mucus layer that lines the inner surface of the large intestine is rich in sugars that can serve as nutrient sources for several members of the microbiota. Whether these sugars can also be used by invading bacterial pathogens to colonize the GI tract is still unclear, in particular for the family of attaching and effacing (A/E) bacterial pathogens, including the human diarrheal pathogens EHEC and EPEC. Aims To investigate the ability of the murine A/E pathogen Citrobacter rodentium to use mucin-derived sugars as a nutrient source, and the importance of these sugars in the virulence of C. rodentium during in-vivo infection. Methods To identify which sugar(s) are required for C. rodentium to colonize and grow in the murine GI tract, we generated mutants lacking single or multiple genes involved in the uptake and catabolism of mucin-derived O-glycan sugars. This was followed by in-vitro growth assays in minimal media supplemented with mucin sugars to investigate the growth properties of C. rodentium and the generated mutants on mucin sugars. Results We determined that C. rodentium was able to use three mucin O-glycan sugars: sialic acid, galactose, and N-acetylglucosamine (GlcNAc) as both carbon and nitrogen sources for in-vitro growth. C. rodentium exhibited the maximal growth rate and density on GlcNAc, followed by sialic acid, and finally galactose. A mutant C. rodentium strain carrying a deletion in the nagA gene was unable to grow on both GlcNAc and sialic acid, confirming that the breakdown pathways for these two sugars merge and are processed by shared suite of enzymes. As for galactose, combined deletions in the genes mglB and galP were required to abolish growth on this sugar. Notably, a mutant strain carrying simultaneous deletions in nagA, mglB, and galP was unable to grow on all three mucin sugars, as well as on purified mucin. Conclusions Our results demonstrate that intestinal mucin sugars serve as potential nutrient sources for C. rodentium and that C. rodentium can catabolize three of these sugars. Abstract
Background The gastrointestinal (GI) mucus barrier acts as an important interface between the host and luminal gut microbes, beyond its role in limiting direct contact between noxious luminal agents and the underlying intestinal epithelium. Mucus is comprised of highly glycosylated mucin proteins, modified by O-glycan side chains, formed by five sugar monomers, including sialic acid. Sialic acid frequently occupies the terminal position of O-glycans and can be cleaved by microbial sialidases. We hypothesize that upon entering their hosts, enteric pathogens, such as the attaching and effacing (A/E) family (EHEC, EPEC and Citrobacter rodentium) metabolically adapt to their intestinal environment, and express key virulence factors by sensing and metabolizing mucin sugars, such as sialic acid. Aims Investigate the role of sialic acid in regulating the fitness and virulence strategies of the A/E pathogen C. rodentium within the GI environment. Methods C57Bl/6 mice were orally infected with either wildtype (WT) or mutant strains of C. rodentium to study bacterial pathogenicity in vivo. Sialic acid was localized in mouse colonic tissue sections through lectin staining, and quantified in mouse feces and mucus scrapings using a commercial kit. Protein secretion by C. rodentium, in the presence or absence of sialic acid was analyzed by SDS-PAGE and mass spectrometry. Intestinal epithelial cell lines were infected with enteropathogenic E. coli (EPEC) or C. rodentium to examine bacterial adherence. Results Sialic acid was expressed widely in the GI tracts of mice, primarily in the colonic mucus layer and by intestinal goblet cells. Both EPEC and C. rodentium were found to take up and metabolize sialic acid through the transporter NanT. A C. rodentium strain deficient in sialic acid uptake ( ΔnanT) was dramatically impaired in colonizing the intestines of mice and was rapidly cleared. Sialic acid also impacted C. rodentium’s virulence by inducing the secretion of two key virulence factors, which significantly enhanced the pathogen’s adhesion to intestinal epithelial cells. Moreover, sialic acid increased C. rodentium’s ability to degrade mucus, due to the increased production of these two secreted virulence factors. Conclusions We demonstrate that sialic acid, a mucin-derived sugar, is an essential nutrient for A/E pathogens to thrive and expand within their host’s intestines. Moreover, sialic acid enhances pathogen virulence by inducing secretion of two important virulence factors, which increase adhesion to the epithelium and promote the degradation of mucus. Abstract
The lunar nearside has been investigated by many uncrewed and crewed missions, but the farside of the Moon remains poorly known. Lunar farside exploration is challenging because maneuvering rovers with efficient locomotion in harsh extraterrestrial environment is necessary to explore geological characteristics of scientific interest. Chang'E-4 mission successfully targeted the Moon's farside and deployed a teleoperated rover (Yutu-2) to explore inside the Von Kármán crater, conveying rich information regarding regolith, craters, and rocks. Here, we report mobile exploration on the lunar farside with Yutu-2 over the initial 2 years. During its journey, Yutu-2 has experienced varying degrees of mild slip and skid, indicating that the terrain is relatively flat at large scales but scattered with local gentle slopes. Cloddy soil sticking on its wheels implies a greater cohesion of the lunar soil than encountered at other lunar landing sites. Further identification results indicate that the regolith resembles dry sand and sandy loam on Earth in bearing properties, demonstrating greater bearing strength than that identified during the Apollo missions. In sharp contrast to the sparsity of rocks along the traverse route, small fresh craters with unilateral moldable ejecta are abundant, and some of them contain high-reflectance materials at the bottom, suggestive of secondary impact events. These findings hint at notable differences in the surface geology between the lunar farside and nearside. Experience gained with Yutu-2 improves the understanding of the farside of the Moon, which, in return, may lead to locomotion with improved efficiency and larger range.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE This in vitro study aimed to evaluate the preservation of enamel after tooth preparation for porcelain laminate veneers (PLVs) at different preparation depths based on a fully digital workflow. METHODS AND MATERIALS Sixty extracted human maxillary anterior teeth, including 20 maxillary central incisors (MCIs), 20 maxillary lateral incisors (MLIs), and 20 maxillary canines (MCs) underwent microcomputed tomography (CT) scanning, and were reconstructed as three-dimensional (3D) enamel and dentin models. Subsequently, the three-dimensional (3D) enamel models were imported into Materialise, where each enamel model underwent seven types of virtual preparation for PLVs at preparation depths at 0.1-mm increments from 0.1-0.3-0.5 mm (D1) to 0.7-0.9-1.1 mm (D7). The enamel surface was depicted by merging the virtual preparation and, respective, dentin models. The enamel area and prepared surface were measured to calculate the percentage of enamel (R%). The data were statistically analyzed using one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) (α=0.05). RESULTS The group-wise mean (standard deviation) R values for the MCIs were as follows: D1-D3: 100.00 (0) each, and D4-D7: 74.70 (2.45), 51.40 (5.12), 24.40 (3.06), and 0.00 (0), respectively. The group-wise mean R values for the MLIs were 100.00 (0), 73.70 (3.40), 53.50 (3.44), 25.20 (3.79), and 0.90 (0.99) for the D1-D5 groups, respectively; and 0.00 (0) each for the D6-D7 groups. The group-wise mean (standard deviations) R values for the MCs were as follows: D1-D3: 100.00 (0) each, and D4-D7: 99.00 (1.34), 77.10 (3.28), 74.20 (3.61), and 52.20 (4.09), respectively. The one-way ANOVA revealed significant differences between the seven groups in the MCIs, MLIs, and MCs (p<0.05). CONCLUSIONS Our results recommended preparation depths of up to 0.3-0.5-0.7 mm (MCIs), 0.1-0.3-0.5 mm (MLIs), and 0.4-0.6-0.8 mm (MCs) to facilitate complete intraenamel preparation. Moreover, 50% enamel was preserved at preparation depths of 0.5-0.7-0.9 mm (MCIs), 0.3-0.5-0.7 mm (MLIs), and 0.7-0.9-1.1 mm (MCs).

Abstract
Background The addition of sialic acid alters IgG from a pro-inflammatory state to an anti-inflammatory state. However, there is a lack of research on the changes of IgG sialylation in IgA nephropathy (IgAN). Methods This study included a total of 184 IgAN patients. The sialylated IgG (SA-IgG), IgG-galactose-deficient IgA1 complex (IgG-Gd-IgA1-IC), IL-6, TNF-α, and TGF-β were detected using commercial ELISA kits. SA-IgG, non-sialylated IgG (NSA-IgG), sialylated IgG-IgA1 complex (SA-IgG-IgA1), and non-sialylated IgG-IgA1 complex (NSA-IgG-IgA1) were purified from IgAN patients and healthy controls (HCs). Results The mean SA-IgG levels in plasma and B lymphocytes in IgAN patients were significantly higher than those of healthy controls. A positive correlation was found between SA-IgG levels in plasma and B lymphocytes. In vitro, the results showed that the release of IgG-Gd-IgA1-IC was significantly decreased in peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) cultured with SA-IgG from both IgAN patients and healthy controls. The proliferation ability and the release of IL-6, TNF-α, and TGF-β in human mesangial cells (HMCs) were measured after stimulating with SA-IgG-IgA1-IC and NSA-IgG-IgA1-IC. The mesangial cell proliferation levels induced by NSA-IgG-IgA1-IC derived from IgAN patients were significantly higher than those caused by SA-IgG-IgA1-IC derived from IgAN patients and healthy controls. Compared with NSA-IgG-IgA1 from healthy controls, IgAN-NSA-IgG-IgA1 could significantly upregulate the expression of IL-6 and TNF-α in mesangial cells. The data showed that there weren’t any significant differences in the levels of IL-6, TNF-α, and TGF-β when treated with IgAN-SA-IgG-IgA1 and HC-NSA-IgG-IgA1. Conclusions The present study demonstrated that the sialylation of IgG increased in patients with IgA nephropathy. It exerted an inhibitory effect on the formation of Gd-IgA1-containing immune complexes in PBMCs and the proliferation and inflammation activation in mesangial cells. Abstract
OBJECTIVES This study aimed to investigate the effects of hydrothermal treatment on four types of monolithic, translucent, yttria-stabilized, tetragonal zirconia polycrystals (Y-TZPs). METHODS AND MATERIALS Two commercially available Y-TZP brands-SuperfectZir High Translucency (Aidite Technology Co, China) and Katana HT (Kuraray Noritake Dental, Japan) were assessed. For each brand of Y-TZP, materials of four coloring types, including noncolored (NC), colored by staining (CS), precolored (PC), and multilayered (ML) specimens were investigated after hydrothermal aging in an autoclave at 134°C/0.2 MPa for 0 (control group), 5, 10, and 20 hours. The tetragonal-to-monoclinic phase transformation, surface roughness, flexural strength, and structural reliability (Weibull analysis) were measured and statistically analyzed (α=0.05). The subsurface microstructure was analyzed with scanning electron microscopy. RESULTS The group ML exhibited the lowest flexural strength and Weibull characteristic strength among the four coloring types (p<0.05). Slight increases in the monoclinic phase volume, flexural strength, and Weibull characteristic strength were observed after hydrothermal aging (pall<0.05). Regardless of coloring type, no significant effects of aging on the Weibull modulus or surface roughness were found for the tested materials. Compared with the Katana HT cross-sections, the SuperfectZir High Translucency cross-sections exhibited a similar but thicker transformation zone. CONCLUSIONS The coloring procedure and material type were found to affect the mechanical properties and aging resistance of translucent monolithic Y-TZP ceramics. Regardless of the aging time, the surface roughness of the tested Y-TZP ceramics remained unchanged.

Abstract
Objective: To explore the etiologies and clinical characteristics of fever of unknown origin (FUO) and to provide clues for early diagnosis of FUO. Methods: The data about etiology, age, sex, clinical course, length of hospital stays and the expression levels of inflammatory factors in fever phase of 357 pediatric inpatients who were diagnosed with FUO in Children's Hospital of Fudan University from 1 January 2016 to 31 December 2020 were collected and retrospectively analyzed. Participants were grouped into infectious disease, inflammatory disease, malignancy and others and according to the classification of diseases and also grouped into those aged<1 year, 1-<3 years,3-<6 years, 6-<12 years and 12-<18 years. Comparisons between groups were performed using the Mann-Whitney U test, Kruskal-Wallis H test and χ² test. Results: Among the 357 patients (217 males and 140 females). The age of onset was 3.9 (1.3, 9.2) years and visiting age was 5.1 (2.0, 9.3) years. The time-consuming of diagnosis was 94 (66, 213) days. The hospital stay was 8 (6, 14) days. The most frequently identified cause of FUO was infectious diseases (163 cases, 45.7%), followed by non-infectious inflammatory diseases (133 cases, 37.2%), malignancy (21 cases, 5.9%) and others (40 cases, 11.2%). The patients at younger age were more likely to be attacked by malignancy, oncologic diagnoses, and others, nevertheless patients at older age were more likely to be attacked by non-infectious inflammatory diseases oppositely (9.8 (3.6, 11.5) vs. 3.0 (1.2, 7.0), 2.3 (1.0, 5.2), 0.9 (0.5, 1.8) years, U=41.30, 15.94, 37.08, all P<0.01);106 (65%) patients were male, and 57 (35%) patients were female. This result indicated that boys were more susceptible to infectious diseases (χ²=14.73, P<0.01). Analysis of inflammatory factors in serum among 103 patients, interleukin (IL)-6 level in 40 infectious diseases patients (9 (2, 38) ng/L) was significantly lower than those of 6 tumor patients (89 (64, 599) ng/L) and 57 non-infectious inflammatory diseases patients (25 (8, 78) ng/L, U=51.05, 15.70, both P<0.05), no significant difference was observed in IL-2, IL-4, IL-10, tumor necrosis factor α and interferon among the groups (all P>0.05). The patients grouped into those aged 1-<3 years and 3-<6 years were more likely to be attacked by infectious diseases (51.3% (59/115) and 57.1% (40/70)), while patients grouped into those aged 6-<12 years and 12-<18 years were more likely to be attacked by non-infectious inflammatory diseases (55.6% (65/117) and 72.4% (21/29)). Conclusions: Infectious disease is still the main cause of FUO in children and the boys are more susceptible to infectious diseases. However, the morbidity of non-infectious inflammatory diseases increases to number 1 in FUO of children over 6 years of age.

Abstract
Lipid metabolism is an important biochemical process in the body. Recent studies have found that environmental endocrine disruptors play an important role in the regulation of lipid metabolism. Bisphenol A (BPA), a common environmental endocrine disruptor, has adverse effects on lipid metabolism, but the mechanism is still unclear. This study aimed to investigate the effects of gestational BPA exposure on hepatic lipid metabolism and its possible mechanism in male offspring. The pregnant Sprague-Dawley rats were exposed to BPA (0, 0.05, 0.5, 5 mg/kg/day) from day 5 to day 19 of gestation to investigate the levels of triglyceride (TG) and total cholesterol (TC), and the expression of liver lipid metabolism-related genes in male offspring rats. The results showed that compared with the control group, the TG and TC levels in serum and liver in BPA-exposed groups was increased. And the expressions of liver fatty acid oxidation related genes, such as peroxisome proliferators-activated receptor α (PPARα) and carnitine palmitoyl transferase 1α (CPT1α), were down-regulated. However, the expressions of fatty acid synthesis related genes, such as sterol regulatory element binding proteins 1 (SREBP-1), acetyl-CoA carboxylase 1 (ACC1), fatty acid synthase (FAS) and stearoyl-CoA desaturase 1 (SCD-1), were up-regulated. The increased protein levels of mTOR and p-CRTC2 suggested that CREB-regulated transcription coactivator 2 (CRTC2) might be an important mediator in the mTOR/SREBP-1 pathway. In conclusion, these results demonstrated that mTOR/CRTC2/SREBP-1 could be affected by gestational BPA exposure, which may involve in the lipid metabolic disorders in later life.

Abstract
Accurate reduction is of vital importance in the treatment of zygomaticomaxillary complex (ZMC) fractures. Computer-assisted navigation systems (CANS) have been employed in ZMC fractures to improve the accuracy of surgical reduction. However, randomized controlled trials on this subject are rare and the benefits of CANS remain controversial. The aim of this study was to compare reduction errors between navigation-aided and conventional surgical treatment for ZMC fractures. Thirty-eight patients with unilateral type B ZMC fractures were enrolled. Preoperative computed tomography data were imported into ProPlan software for virtual surgical planning. Open reduction and internal fixation was performed with CANS (experimental group) or without CANS (control group). Postoperative computed tomography scans were obtained to examine the difference between surgical planning and the actual postoperative outcome, namely reduction errors. The median translational reduction errors in the X, Y, and Z axes were 0.80 mm, 0.40 mm, and 0.80 mm, respectively, in the experimental group and 0.53 mm, 0.86 mm, and 0.83 mm, respectively, in the control group (P > 0.05). The median rotational reduction errors in pitch, roll, and yaw were 0.92°, 2.47°, and 1.54°, respectively, in the experimental group and 1.45°, 3.68°, and 0.76°, respectively, in the control group (P > 0.05). In conclusion, compared with conventional reduction surgery, navigation-aided surgery showed no significant improvement in reduction accuracy in the treatment of type B ZMC fractures (Chinese Clinical Trial Registry, registration number ChiCTR1800015559).

Abstract
Objective: To understand the epidemiological characteristics of imported COVID-19 cases in Tianjin, and provide references for risk assessment and control of imported COVID-19 cases. Methods: The information of imported COVID-19 cases were obtained from National Notifiable Disease Report System of China CDC. The data of imported COVID-19 cases reported from Tianjin airport and epidemiological surveys by CDCs at all levels from March 15, 2020 to August 31, 2021 were collected and analyzed by using software Excel 2010, SPSS 25.0 and R. Results: From March 15, 2020 to August 31, 2021, a total of 606 imported cases of COVID-19 were reported in Tianjin, in which 552 cases were finally included in the analysis. The male to female ratio of the cases was 1.8∶1, the age of the cases ranged from 3 to 77 years, and the cases were mainly reported in age group 20-39 years (59.8%). The areas where the imported case sojourned within 14 days included Europe (242 cases, 43.8%), Africa (139 cases, 25.2%), Americas (85 cases, 15.4%) and Asia (86 cases, 15.6%). The proportion of confirmed cases in autumn and winter was relatively high. During the study period, the proportion of infected persons found in custom entry quarantine decreased, and the proportion of persons with personal health declaration and under medical isolation observation increased. The interval between entry and diagnosis of infected persons tended to increase. Conclusion: The proportion of imported COVID-19 cases detected on the first day of entry at Tianjin airport decreased, and the interval to detect the infected persons trended to increase, to which close attention must be paid.

Abstract
BACKGROUND In the preparation of inlay cavities, a choice must be made between conventional standard and minimally invasive preparation designs; in the long run, this choice can affect the integrity of the bonded interface. PURPOSE To evaluate the effect of minimally invasive cavity preparation designs on the extent and contributing mechanisms of damage to ceramic inlay bonded interfaces. METHODS AND MATERIALS Tooth blocks with 90°, 120° and 75° marginal angles were prepared, representing tooth cavities with conventional standard and minimally invasive preparations with large divergence and convergence angles and bonded to monolithic ceramic (IPS e.max CAD). Vickers indentations were placed at various distances from the bonded interface. The indentation morphology and crack length were observed. Reciprocating wear tests were performed on the bonded interface with a 20-newton (N) vertical load. The wear depth and wear-scar morphology were characterized after increments of cyclic sliding contact. RESULTS The 120° group exhibited longer indentation cracks in the ceramic, whereas the 75° group showed larger indentations in the enamel when compared to the 90° group (p<0.001). Consistent with the weaker edge crack resistance, the 120° group experienced the greatest wear (p=0.008), and the wear depth in the enamel of the 75° group exceeded that of the 90° group (p<0.001) in the early stage (5×102 cycles). However, no significant difference in the wear depth (p>0.147) and morphology were found at the later wear stage among the three groups. CONCLUSION Within the limitations of this study, minimally invasive preparations with 120° and 75° marginal angles can result in early sever damage at the ceramic inlay bonded interface but show comparable wear behaviors to the conventional 90° group at the later stage.

Abstract
Cinnamomum camphora chvar. Borneol essential oil (BEO) was efficiently extracted by using pilot-plant neutral cellulase-assisted steam distillation (NCSD). Borneol, β-cadinene and α-caryophyllene were identified as major components. Bacillus subtilis was the most sensitive bacteria to BEO with the lowest minimal inhibition concentration (MIC) and minimal bactericial concentration (MBC) at 1·75 and 3·50 mg ml-1 , respectively. Antimicrobial activity of the BEO was also reasonably high against Salmonella typhimurium, Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus, but not sensitive against two fungi, i.e. Aspergillus niger and Penicillium aurantiogriseum. Changes in permeability and integrity of cell membrane, damage of cell wall and further leakage out of metabolites and ions were determined as bactericidal mechanisms of BEO against the two gram-positive bacteria. The BEO showed a reasonably high repelling activity of dust mite, which achieved higher than 95% repelling dust mite activity after the treatment of BEO solution at 0·50 mg ml-1 . When the concentration of BEO was higher than 0·50 mg ml-1 , it was B-grade miticide with miticidal activity higher than 95%. Miticidal procedures were characterized as excitation, contraction, relaxation and lastly leading to the death of dust mite. It is speculated that the BEO would cause dehydration and death of dust mite as neuromuscular toxicity.

Abstract
Objective: To estimate physical activity level in residents in Suzhou and explore the association between community environment and physical activity level in local residents. Methods: Through multistage stratified random sampling, residents aged 25-64 years in Suzhou were surveyed by face-to face interview in 2017. Physical activity levels were assessed by the international physical activity questionnaire-long version (IPAQ-L). Perceptions of community environment were assessed by Neighborhood Environment Walkability Scale-Abbreviated (NEWS-A). Results: Among the local residents surveyed in Suzhou,the median of weekly total physical activity level was 3 610.42 MET-min/w. The level of occupational physical activity was higher than that of transportation, household and leisure-time related physical activity levels. After controlling for socio-demographic factors, public service access was negatively associated with the overall physical activity level (OR=0.522,95%CI:0.329-0.830), land-use mix-diversity was negatively associated with the level of occupational physical activity level (OR=0.701,95%CI: 0.492-0.999), infrastructure of walk and cycle ways was positively associated with occupational physical activity level (OR=1.603,95%CI:1.004-2.559); traffic hazards were negatively associated with the transportation physical activity level (OR=0.642,95%CI: 0.416-0.990); residential building density was positively associated with leisure-time physical activity level (OR=1.001,95%CI: 1.000-1.002), and the perceptions level of community environment were positively associated with the occupational, transportation, household and overall physical activity levels (OR=1.889,95%CI: 1.176-3.033;OR=1.671,95%CI: 1.120-2.495;OR=1.775,95%CI: 1.143-2.756;OR=1.593,95%CI: 1.079-2.350). Conclusion: Improving infrastructure of walk and cycle ways and beautifying community environment play an important role in increasing the physical activity level of the residents.

Abstract
Three patients diagnosed with focal cortical dysplasia (FCD) in the First Hospital of Peking University from September to November 2020 were recruited in the study. Based on stereotactic electroencephalogram (SEEG) or electrocorticogram (ECoG) analysis to localize the seizure onset zone (SOZ), RNA sequencing (RNA-seq) analysis was performed for the SOZ and para-SOZ tissue obtained from surgery. The differentially expressed genes between SOZ and para-SOZ samples were analyzed by performing Go (Gene ontology) analysis and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) pathway enrichment analysis."Extracellular matrix"was significantly enriched, which included collagen synthesis genes (e.g., COL1A1)."Ether lipid metabolism"was enriched in the KEGG pathway enrichment analysis. These differences could be the potential biological markers for SOZ localization.

Abstract
Background: Our previous study revealed that plasma levels of a-2,6-sialyltransferase 1 (ST6GAL1) were increased in patients with IgA nephropathy (IgAN). ST6GAL1 catalyzes terminal sialylation of IgG to shift the antibody effector function to the anti-inflammatory pattern. However, the role of plasma ST6GAL1 in the progression of IgAN and underlying mechanisms are still unknown. Methods: A total of 180 IgAN patients were included. The kidney outcomes were defined as the eGFR decline or proteinuria remission. Peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) were either stimulated with purified sialylated IgG (SA-IgG) or with non-sialylated IgG (NSA-IgG) from IgAN patients to detect the levels of interleukin (IL)-6 and tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) in supernatant. Results: Compared with the lower ST6GAL1 (reference), the risk of eGFR decline decreased for the higher ST6GAL1 group after adjustment for baseline eGFR, systolic blood pressure (SBP), and proteinuria. The results showed that patients with higher ST6GAL1 levels had a higher rate of proteinuria remission. ST6GAL1, expressed as a continuous variable, was a protective factor for eGFR decline and proteinuria remission. An in vitro study showed that the administration of recombinant ST6GAL1 (rST6GAL1) decreased the levels of IL-6 and TNF-α in PBMCs. Furthermore, the administration of rST6GAL1 resulted in the enrichment of SA-IgG in a concentration-dependent manner. In addition, as compared to control, purified SA-IgG-treated PBMCs showed a significant decrease in the expression of IL-6 and TNF-α. Conclusion: Our study indicated that elevated ST6GAL1 was associated with a slower progression of IgAN, which may play a protective effect by increasing IgG sialylation to inhibit the production of proinflammatory cytokines in PBMCs.
