Abstract
Searches are performed for both promptlike and long-lived dark photons, A^{'}, produced in proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV. These searches look for A^{'}→μ^{+}μ^{-} decays using a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5.5 fb^{-1} collected with the LHCb detector. Neither search finds evidence for a signal, and 90% confidence-level exclusion limits are placed on the γ-A^{'} kinetic mixing strength. The promptlike A^{'} search explores the mass region from near the dimuon threshold up to 70 GeV and places the most stringent constraints to date on dark photons with 214<m(A^{'})≲740 MeV and 10.6<m(A^{'})≲30 GeV. The search for long-lived A^{'}→μ^{+}μ^{-} decays places world-leading constraints on low-mass dark photons with lifetimes O(1) ps.

Abstract
Observations are reported of different sources of CP violation from an amplitude analysis of B^{+}→π^{+}π^{+}π^{-} decays, based on a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3 fb^{-1} of pp collisions recorded with the LHCb detector. A large CP asymmetry is observed in the decay amplitude involving the tensor f_{2}(1270) resonance, and in addition significant CP violation is found in the π^{+}π^{-}S wave at low invariant mass. The presence of CP violation related to interference between the π^{+}π^{-}S wave and the P wave B^{+}→ρ(770)^{0}π^{+} amplitude is also established; this causes large local asymmetries but cancels when integrated over the phase space of the decay. The results provide both qualitative and quantitative new insights into CP -violation effects in hadronic B decays.

Abstract
The diagnosis, treatment, operation and diagnosis of two cases of occupational frostbite diagnosed in Shandong Academy of Occupational Healthy Occupational Medicine were analyzed retrospectively. In these two patients working in a low temperature environment, the finger frostbite did not arouse enough attention, one patient did not receive timely diagnosis and treatment, and one patient received timely medical treatment, but did not receive proper treatment, which ultimately led to the adverse consequences of finger amputation. The staff under the low temperature environment should strictly carry out the low temperature operation protection standard and improve their self-protection consciousness. If frostbite occurs, they should seek medical treatment in time, which can effectively reduce the disability rate.

Abstract
A search for the lepton-flavor violating decays B^{+}→K^{+}μ^{±}e^{∓} is performed using a sample of proton-proton collision data, collected with the LHCb experiment at center-of-mass energies of 7 and 8 TeV and corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3 fb^{-1}. No significant signal is observed, and upper limits on the branching fractions are set as B(B^{+}→K^{+}μ^{-}e^{+})<7.0(9.5)×10^{-9} and B(B^{+}→K^{+}μ^{+}e^{-})<6.4(8.8)×10^{-9} at 90% (95)% confidence level. The results improve the current best limits on these decays by more than one order of magnitude.

Abstract
The production of charged hadrons within jets recoiling against a Z boson is measured in proton-proton collision data at sqrt[s]=8 TeV recorded by the LHCb experiment. The charged-hadron structure of the jet is studied longitudinally and transverse to the jet axis for jets with transverse momentum p_{T}>20 GeV and in the pseudorapidity range 2.5<η<4. These are the first measurements of jet hadronization at these forward rapidities and also the first where the jet is produced in association with a Z boson. In contrast to previous hadronization measurements at the Large Hadron Collider, which are dominated by gluon jets, these measurements probe predominantly light-quark jets which are found to be more longitudinally and transversely collimated with respect to the jet axis when compared to the previous gluon dominated measurements. Therefore, these results provide valuable information on differences between quarks and gluons regarding nonperturbative hadronization dynamics.

Abstract
The first amplitude analysis of the B^{±}→π^{±}K^{+}K^{-} decay is reported based on a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3.0 fb^{-1} of pp collisions recorded in 2011 and 2012 with the LHCb detector. The data are found to be best described by a coherent sum of five resonant structures plus a nonresonant component and a contribution from ππ↔KK S-wave rescattering. The dominant contributions in the π^{±} K^{∓} and K^{+} K^{-} systems are the nonresonant and the B^{±}→ρ(1450)^{0}π^{±} amplitudes, respectively, with fit fractions around 30%. For the rescattering contribution, a sizable fit fraction is observed. This component has the largest CP asymmetry reported to date for a single amplitude of (-66±4±2)%, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic. No significant CP violation is observed in the other contributions.

Abstract
Results are reported from a search for the rare decays B_{s}^{0}→τ^{±}μ^{∓} and B^{0}→τ^{±}μ^{∓}, where the τ lepton is reconstructed in the channel τ^{-}→π^{-}π^{+}π^{-}ν_{τ}. These processes are effectively forbidden in the standard model, but they can potentially occur at detectable rates in models of new physics that can induce lepton-flavor-violating decays. The search is based on a data sample corresponding to 3 fb^{-1} of proton-proton collisions recorded by the LHCb experiment in 2011 and 2012. The event yields observed in the signal regions for both processes are consistent with the expected standard model backgrounds. Because of the limited mass resolution arising from the undetected τ neutrino, the B_{s}^{0} and B^{0} signal regions are highly overlapping. Assuming no contribution from B^{0}→τ^{±}μ^{∓}, the upper limit B(B_{s}^{0}→τ^{±}μ^{∓})<4.2×10^{-5} is obtained at 95% confidence level. If no contribution from B_{s}^{0}→τ^{±}μ^{∓} is assumed, a limit of B(B^{0}→τ^{±}μ^{∓})<1.4×10^{-5} is obtained at 95% confidence level. These results represent the first limit on B(B_{s}^{0}→τ^{±}μ^{∓}) and the most stringent limit on B(B^{0}→τ^{±}μ^{∓}).

Abstract
OBJECTIVE The aim of this study was to investigate the role of miR-144-3p in the proliferation and metastasis capacity of pediatric Wilms' tumor (WT) cells and to explore the underlying mechanism. PATIENTS AND METHODS The quantitative Reverse Transcription-Polymerase Chain Reaction (qRT-PCR) was performed to measure the expression level of miR-144-3p in pediatric WT tissues and cell lines (G401). A bioinformatics software was utilized to predict the interaction between miR-144-3p and Girdin. Subsequently, the interaction was further verified by dual luciferase reporter (DLR) gene assay and Western blot. The proliferation and colony formation ability of G401 cells were examined by MTT (3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyl tetrazolium bromide) and colony formation assay, respectively. Finally, the effect of miR-144-3p on cell invasion and migration was analyzed by transwell assay. RESULTS In the current study, we found that the expression level of miR-144-3p was significantly reduced in pediatric WT tissues and cells, whereas Girdin expression was upregulated. On-line target gene prediction software was applied to screen Girdin, which was considered as a downstream target gene of miR-144-3p. The interaction between miR-144-3p and Girdin was further verified by dual Luciferase reporter gene assay and Western blot. Subsequent experiments demonstrated that the proliferation and metastasis ability of cells was remarkably suppressed after up-regulating the expression of miR-144-3p. However, an addition of Girdin could reverse the effect of miR-144-3p. CONCLUSIONS MiR-144-3p, which was up-regulated in pediatric WT, might inhibit the proliferation and metastasis of the cells by directly targeting Girdin. This further indicated that miR-144-3p could be a potential therapeutic target for the treatment of pediatric WT.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE We explored the regulation of miR-429 in nephroblastoma cells, investigating the mechanisms by which miR-429 influenced the proliferation and apoptosis of nephroblastoma. PATIENTS AND METHODS The quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR) was conducted to detect the expression of miR-429 in nephroblastoma tissues and cell lines (G401). The interaction between miR-429 and c-myc was confirmed by qRT-PCR, Western blotting and luciferase assays, respectively. MTT (3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyl tetrazolium bromide) and clone formation assay were used to detect the effect of miR-429 on the proliferation and clone formation ability of G401 cells. Cell cycle and apoptosis of G401 cells were measured by flow cytometry and TUNEL staining, respectively. RESULTS miR-429 was down-regulated in nephroblastoma tissues and cells. On-line target gene prediction software was applied to screen c-myc, the potential downstream target gene of miR-429. The expression of c-myc was negatively regulated by miR-429. Subsequent experiments demonstrated that overexpression of miR-429 inhibited the proliferation ability and arrested cell cycle of G401 cells in G0/G1 phase. Besides, the number of apoptotic cells was increased in miR-429 intervened group. However, c-myc could reverse the biological effects of miR-429 on proliferation, apoptosis, clone formation and cell cycle of G401 cells. CONCLUSIONS MiR-429 can regulate the proliferation, clone formation, cell cycle and apoptosis of nephroblastoma cells through targeting c-myc, indicating miR-429 may function as a potential therapeutic target for the treatment of nephroblastoma.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To investigate the dynamics changes of the myeloid-derived suppressor cells (MDSCs) and regulatory T (Treg) cells in mice infected with Echinococcus granulosus and explore the possible biological significance. METHODS Thirty female BALB/c mice of 6 weeks old were randomly divided into the infection and control groups, of 15 mice in each group. Mice in the infection group were intraperitoneally injected with 2 000 E. granulosus protoscoleces, while those in the control group were injected with the same volume of physiological saline. Mouse liver white blood cells were harvested 3 (early stage), 6 (medium stage) and 12 months (late stage) post-infection, and the proportions of MDSCs, their subpopulations (M-MDSCs and PMN-MDSCs) and Treg cells were assessed by flow cytometry. RESULTS The proportions of MDSCs were (1.61 ± 0.36)%, (5.68 ± 0.69)% and (16.18 ± 0.69)% in mouse liver white blood cells in the infection group 3, 6 and 12 months post-infection with E. granulosus, and (2.19 ± 0.42)%, (0.99 ± 0.07) % and (4.18 ± 0.84)% in the control group, and there were significant differences in the proportion of the MDSCs in mouse liver white blood cells between the infection and control groups 6 and 12 months post-infection (P < 0.01). The proportions of M-MDSCs were (0.69 ± 0.27)%, (5.30 ± 0.72)% and (10.75 ± 0.29)% in mouse liver white blood cells in the infection group 3, 6 and 12 months post-infection, and (0.42 ± 0.24)%, (0.69 ± 0.02)% and (2.12 ± 0.13)% in the control group, and there were significant differences in the proportion of the M-MDSCs in the mouse liver white blood cells between the infection and control groups 6 and 12 months post-infection (P < 0.01). The proportions of PMN-MDSCs were (0.93 ± 0.23)%, (0.32 ± 0.02)% and (5.14 ± 1.03)% in mouse liver white blood cells in the infection group 3, 6 and 12 months post-infection, and (1.77 ± 0.26)%, (0.28 ± 0.05)% and (1.99 ± 0.90)% in the control group, and there were significant differences in the proportion of PMN-MDSCs in mouse liver white blood cells between the infection and control groups 3 and 12 months post-infection (P < 0.05). The proportions of Treg cells were (3.35 ± 0.14)%, (6.24 ± 0.38)% and (3.41 ± 0.07)% in mouse liver white blood cells in the infection group 3, 6 and 12 months post-infection, and (3.48 ± 0.46)%, (3.65 ± 0.45)% and (3.12 ± 0.12)% in the control group, and there were significant differences in the proportion of Treg cells in mouse liver white blood cells between the infection and control groups 6 and 12 months post-infection (P < 0.01). CONCLUSIONS The percentages of both MDSCs and Treg cells increase in mouse liver white blood cells 6 and 12 months post-infection with E. granulosus, and a more remarkable increase is seen in the percentage of MDSCs, which is mainly found in M-MDSCs. These findings suggest that M-MDSCs may play a major immunosuppressive role in the medium and late stages of E. granulosus infection in mice.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE Various studies have shown that aberrant expression of circular RNAs (circRNAs) has a pivotal role in multifarious cancers. However, the role of circRNAs in hepatoblastoma (HB) is not clearly understood. In the present study, we attempted to explore the underlying mechanism of hsa_cric_0000594 in HB along with its clinical importance. PATIENTS AND METHODS In our research, the expression pattern of hsa_circ_0000594 in HB tissues and matched normal liver tissues was determined by in situ hybridization and RT-qPCR. Proliferation, viability, migration, and apoptosis of HB cell lines were detected via Cell Counting Kit-8 (CCK-8), colony formation, transwell, and flow cytometry assays. The interaction of hsa_circ_0000594 with miR-217 was investigated by Dual-Luciferase reporter assay. RESULTS Expression levels of hsa_circ_0000594 were significantly upregulated in HB tissues compared with those in paired normal liver tissues and showed a clear association with the subtype of HB. The knockdown of hsa_circ_0000594 inhibited the malignant phenotype of HB. Bioinformatics analysis suggests that sirtuin 1 (SIRT1) may serve as a target gene of miR-217. CONCLUSIONS Mechanically, hsa_circ_0000594 was identified to have a critical role in HB development through the hsa_circ_0000594/mir-217/SIRT1 regulatory axis, which might become a novel diagnostic marker and potential therapeutic target in HB.

Abstract
We report the observation of a new structure in the Λ_{b}^{0}π^{+}π^{-} spectrum using the full LHCb data set of pp collisions, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 9 fb^{-1}, collected at sqrt[s]=7, 8, and 13 TeV. A study of the structure suggests its interpretation as a superposition of two almost degenerate narrow states. The masses and widths of these states are measured to be m_{Λ_{b}(6146)^{0}}=6146.17±0.33±0.22±0.16 MeV,m_{Λ_{b}(6152)^{0}}=6152.51±0.26±0.22±0.16 MeV,Γ_{Λ_{b}(6146)^{0}}=2.9±1.3±0.3 MeV,Γ_{Λ_{b}(6152)^{0}}=2.1±0.8±0.3 MeV,with a mass splitting of Δm=6.34±0.32±0.02 MeV, where the first uncertainty is statistical, the second systematic. The third uncertainty for the mass measurements derives from the knowledge of the mass of the Λ_{b}^{0} baryon. The measured masses and widths of these new excited states suggest their possible interpretation as a doublet of Λ_{b}(1D)^{0} states.

Abstract
Protein arginine methyltransferase 1 (PRMT1) is dysregulated in a number of human cancers. Herein, we report that PRMT1 expression is directly associated with epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) in hepatic carcinoma cells. Firstly, we find that PRMT1 expression is higher in hepatic carcinoma tissues than that in normal liver tissues at both mRNA and protein levels, and higher expression of PRMT1 correlates with poor survival in liver tumors. The data in vitro reveals that PRMT1 knockdown inhibits the abilities of proliferation, migration and invasion, while PRMT1 overexpression promotes the above behaviors in hepatic carcinoma cells. Further studies indicate that PRMT1 knockdown remarkably decreases the expression of mesenchymal markers including Vimentin, Snail and N-cadherin, and upregulates expression of epithelial markers E-cadherin. Conversely, PRMT1 overexpression results in the opposite effects. Additionally, we identified that PRMT1 knockdown resulted in downregulation of TGF-β1, p-Smad2 and p-Smad3, while PRMT1 overexpression activated TGF-β1, p-Smad2 and p-Smad3. These findings suggest that PRMT1 promotes EMT in hepatic carcinoma cells probably via TGF-β1/Smad pathway, and might represent a novel anti-liver cancer strategy.

Abstract
Abstract
Background
Insulin resistance is the main pathogenesis of type 2 diabetes. In order to better control the blood glucose of diabetic patients, the key is to improve the insulin sensitivity. With the in-depth study on the mechanism of insulin resistance, sympathetic nerve is an important part of it, but the specific mechanism is not clear.
Objective
This experiment aims to observe the effects of RDN on insulin resistance and skeletal muscle mitochondrial function in spontaneous diabetes ZDF rats.
Methods
6 SPF healthy male ZDF (fa/+) rats were selected as control group, 12 healthy males ZDF (fa/fa) rats were randomly divided into sham group and RDN group. In the sham group and RDN group, the rats were treated with sham operation or bilateral renal sympathetic denervation respectively. Insulin sensitivity was tested in all rats with Hyperinsulinemic-euglycemic clamp test 2 weeks after RDN. The skeletal muscle ATPsyn, COXIV, UCP3 and SOD2 were tested by Western-blot method.
Results
The result showed that 2 weeks after RDN, the blood glucose level of the RDN group decreased significantly (P=0.000) when compared with the sham group. The glucose infusion rate (GIR) in sham and RDN group decreased significantly when compared with the control group (P=0.000). After RDN, the GIR in RDN group increased significantly. ATPsyn, COXIV which were the key enzyme of oxidative metabolism in skeletal muscle mitochondria decreased significantly in the sham and RDN group when compared with control group (P=0.001). However, parameters improved dramatically after RDN (P=0.001).

Conclusion
Our results showed that RDN improved the insulin sensitivity in diabetes rats. The mechanism may be related to the decrease of oxidative stress and function improvement in skeletal muscle mitochondrial by RDN.

Abstract
Objective:The aim of this study is to evaluate the diagnostic value of vestibular-evoked myogenic potential (cVEMP and oVEMP), caloric test, and cochlear electrogram (EcochG) in patients with Meniere's disease (MD) and non-Meniere's disease. Method:Sixty-four patients (64 ears) with Unilateral Meniere's disease were enrolled in the study group (MD group), and 127 cases(254 ears) of non-Meniere's disease patients as non-MD group, including vertigo migraine in 40 cases, benign paroxysmal positional vertigo in 48 cases, benign recurrent vertigo in 13 cases, vestibular paroxysmia in 3 cases, vestibular neuritis in 5 cases and other undiagnosed vertigo in 18 cases. Both group undertake cVEMP, oVEMP, caloric test and ECochG. Use Medcale software to draw ROC curve of ECochG and calculate the area under curve(AUC), Jordan index and optimal diagnostic cut-off points. Make the cut-off point as the point of -SP/AP, then evaluate the sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value(PPV), negative predictive value(NPV) and diagnostic accuracy of cVEMP, oVEMP, caloric test and ECochG in MD group and non-MD group. Result:The AUC of ECochG ROC curve was 0.74, the Jordan index was 0.47 and the cut-off point was 0.4. The sensitivity and specificity of cVEMP(62% and 68%), oVEMP(61% and 53%) and caloric test(53% and 57%) were all below ECochG(65% and 78%). The positive predictive value and of ECochG was the highest(61.9%), the negative predictive value of cVEMP was highest(87.5%). The diagnostic accuracy of ECochG was highest(74%), followed with cVEMP(67%), oVEMP(55%) and caloric test(56%). Conclusion:Compared with the vestibular function tests, the sensitivity, specificity, diagnostic accuracy and NPV were all higher in ECochG, and the diagnostic benefit can be maximized when -SP/AP value>0.4. So the value of single vestibular function examination in the diagnosis of Meniere's disease is limited. The diagnosis of MD still requires a comprehensive evaluation in combination with medical history, audiological tests and vestibular function examinations.

Abstract
AIM A nomogram model was developed to predict the histological subtypes of lung invasive adenocarcinomas (IAs) and minimally invasive adenocarcinomas (MIAs) that manifest as part-solid ground-glass nodules (GGNs). MATERIALS AND METHODS This retrospective study enrolled 119 patients with histopathologically confirmed part-solid GGNs assigned to the training (n=83) or testing cohorts (n=36). Radiomic features were extracted based on the unenhanced computed tomography (CT) images. R software was applied to process the qualitative and quantitative data. The CT features model, radiomic signature model, and combined prediction model were constructed and compared. RESULTS A total of 396 radiomic features were extracted from the preoperative CT images, four features including MaxIntensity, RMS, ZonePercentage, and LongRunEmphasis_angle0_offset7 were indicated to be the best discriminators to establish the radiomic signature model. The performance of the model was satisfactory in both the training and testing set with areas under the curve (AUCs) of 0.854 (95% confidence interval [CI]: 0.774 to 0.934) and 0.813 (95% CI: 0.670 to 0.955), respectively. The CT morphology of the lesion shape and diameter of the solid component were confirmed to be a significant feature for building the CT features model, which had an AUC of 0.755 (95% CI: 0.648 to 0.843). A nomogram that integrated lesion shape and radiomic signature was constructed, which contributed an AUC of 0.888 (95% CI: 0.82 to 0.955). CONCLUSIONS The radiomic signature could provide an important reference for differentiating IAs from MIAs, and could be significantly enhanced by the addition of CT morphology. The nomogram may be highly informative for making clinical decisions.

Abstract
1. Adipocyte fatty acid binding protein (A-FABP) plays a key role in fatty acid uptake and intracellular transport. The objective of the present study was to identify and characterise the A-FABP gene in Xupu goose.2. The full-length cDNA of goose A-FABP gene was cloned from the liver tissue using reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and rapid amplification of cDNA ends (RACE). The distribution of the goose A-FABP in different tissues was determined by quantitative real-time PCR (qRT-PCR).3. The results showed that the full-length cDNA sequence of goose A-FABP was 657 bp, containing a 5'-UTR of 52 bp, a 3'-UTR of 206 bp and an open reading frame (ORF) of 399 bp, which encoded a polypeptide of 132 amino acids (AA).4. The AA sequence of goose A-FABP showed 76.52%, 75.00%, 93.18% and 99.24% identities with previously described homologues from humans (Homo sapiens), mouse (Mus musculus), chicken (Gallus gallus), and duck (Anas platyrhynchos), respectively, and phylogenetic analysis revealed a close relationship among them. The transcript of Xupu goose A-FABP was ubiquitously expressed in all tested tissues, and showed a high-level expression in abdominal fat, sebum and liver.5. A significant positive correlation was identified between A-FABP mRNA abundance in the three adipose tissues and liver weight, ratio of liver to body weight, TG content, and VLDL concentration in the plasma of Xupu goose. A significant negative correlation was observed between the mRNA level of A-FABP and HDL concentration in the plasma of Xupu goose.6. These findings provide a foundation for further research on the function and mechanism of A-FABP in the fat deposition process.

Abstract
Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is one of the most malignant tumors with poor prognosis, and the interaction between activated pancreatic stellate cells (PSCs) and PDAC cells plays an important role in the development of PDAC. The aim of this study was to identify gene changes in BXPC-3 after cross-talk with PSCs and reveal their potential mechanisms. The gene expression profiling analysis of BXPC-3 was completed after co-culture with primary PSCs for 48 h. The gene ontology (GO) and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes pathway (KEGG) enrichment analyses were performed, and the differentially expressed genes (DEGs) were identified by Agilent GeneSpring GX software. In total, 3657 DEGs were identified in BXPC-3, including 1881 up-regulated genes and 1776 downregulated genes. GO analysis results showed that upregulated DEGs were significantly enriched in biological processes (BP), including peptide metabolic process, response to stress and electron transport chain; the downregulated DEGs were significantly enriched in biological processes, including signaling, multicellular organism development and anatomical structure development. KEGG pathway analysis revealed that 19 pathways were upregulated and 32 pathways were downregulated, and that upregulated DEGs were enriched in protein export and glutathione metabolism, while the downregulated DEGs were enriched in axon guidance and focal adhesion. The top 10 upregulated genes and the top 10 downregulated genes were identified. By constructing PPI network, we selected out 10 key genes (TP53, SRC, IL6, JUN, ISG15, CAD, STAT1, OAS3, OAS1, VIM) and significant pathways. The associated survival analysis was performed and the SRC, IL-6, ISG15, STAT1, OAS3, OAS1 and VIM were proved to be related to worse overall survival time of PDAC patients. In conclusion, the present study indicated that the identified DEGs promote our understanding of the molecular mechanisms underlying the interaction between pancreatic cancer cells and PSCs and might be used as molecular targets in the future to study the role of tumor microenvironment in the progression of PDAC.

Abstract
A time-dependent analysis of the B_{s}^{0}→ϕγ decay rate is performed to determine the CP -violating observables S_{ϕγ} and C_{ϕγ} and the mixing-induced observable A_{ϕγ}^{Δ}. The measurement is based on a sample of pp collision data recorded with the LHCb detector, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3 fb^{-1} at center-of-mass energies of 7 and 8 TeV. The measured values are S_{ϕγ}=0.43±0.30±0.11, C_{ϕγ}=0.11±0.29±0.11, and A_{ϕγ}^{Δ}=-0.67_{-0.41}^{+0.37}±0.17, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic. This is the first measurement of the observables S and C in radiative B_{s}^{0} decays. The results are consistent with the standard model predictions.

Abstract
A systematic and robust laser speckle contrast imaging (LSCI) method and procedure is presented covering the LSCI system calibration, static scattering removal, and measurement noise estimation and correction to obtain a true flow speckle contrast K f 2 and the flow speed from single-exposure LSCI measurements. We advocate the use of K 2 as the speckle contrast instead of the conventional contrast K, as the former relates simply to the flow velocity and is with additive noise alone. We demonstrate the efficacy of the proposed true flow speckle contrast by imaging phantom flow at varying speeds, showing that (1) the proposed recipe greatly enhances the linear sensitivity of the flow index (inverse decorrelation time) and the linearity covers the full span of flow speeds from 0 to 40 mm/s; and (2) the true flow speed can be recovered regardless of the overlying static scattering layers and the type of speckle statistics (temporal or spatial). The fundamental difference between the apparent temporal and spatial speckle contrasts is further revealed. The flow index recovered in the spatial domain is much more susceptible to static scattering and exhibit a shorter linearity range than that obtained in the temporal domain. The proposed LSCI analysis framework paves the way to estimate the true flow speed in the wide array of laser speckle contrast imaging applications.

Abstract
The radiative decay Λ_{b}^{0}→Λγ is observed for the first time using a data sample of proton-proton collisions corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 1.7 fb^{-1} collected by the LHCb experiment at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV. Its branching fraction is measured exploiting the B^{0}→K^{*0}γ decay as a normalization mode and is found to be B(Λ_{b}^{0}→Λγ)=(7.1±1.5±0.6±0.7)×10^{-6}, where the quoted uncertainties are statistical, systematic, and systematic from external inputs, respectively. This is the first observation of a radiative decay of a beauty baryon.

Abstract
Using pp collision data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 8.5 fb^{-1} recorded by the LHCb experiment at center-of-mass energies of sqrt[s]=7, 8, and 13 TeV, the observation of an excited B_{c}^{+} state in the B_{c}^{+}π^{+}π^{-} invariant-mass spectrum is reported. The observed peak has a mass of 6841.2±0.6(stat)±0.1(syst)±0.8(B_{c}^{+}) MeV/c^{2}, where the last uncertainty is due to the limited knowledge of the B_{c}^{+} mass. It is consistent with expectations of the B_{c}^{*}(2^{3}S_{1})^{+} state reconstructed without the low-energy photon from the B_{c}^{*}(1^{3}S_{1})^{+}→B_{c}^{+}γ decay following B_{c}^{*}(2^{3}S_{1})^{+}→B_{c}^{*}(1^{3}S_{1})^{+}π^{+}π^{-}. A second state is seen with a global (local) statistical significance of 2.2σ (3.2σ) and a mass of 6872.1±1.3(stat)±0.1(syst)±0.8(B_{c}^{+}) MeV/c^{2}, and is consistent with the B_{c}(2^{1}S_{0})^{+} state. These mass measurements are the most precise to date.

Abstract
We report a measurement of the mass difference between neutral charm-meson eigenstates using a novel approach that enhances sensitivity to this parameter. We use 2.3×10^{6} D^{0}→K_{S}^{0}π^{+}π^{-} decays reconstructed in proton-proton collisions collected by the LHCb experiment in 2011 and 2012. Allowing for CP violation in mixing and in the interference between mixing and decay, we measure the CP-averaged normalized mass difference x_{CP}=[2.7±1.6(stat)±0.4(syst)]×10^{-3} and the CP-violating parameter Δx=[-0.53±0.70(stat)±0.22(syst)]×10^{-3}. The results are consistent with CP symmetry. These determinations are the most precise from a single experiment and, combined with current world-average results, yield the first evidence that the masses of the neutral charm-meson eigenstates differ.

Abstract
Quantum communication protocols based on nonclassical correlations can be more efficient than known classical methods and offer intrinsic security over direct state transfer. In particular, remote state preparation aims at the creation of a desired and known quantum state at a remote location using classical communication and quantum entanglement. We present an experimental realization of deterministic continuous-variable remote state preparation in the microwave regime over a distance of 35 cm. By employing propagating two-mode squeezed microwave states and feedforward, we achieve the remote preparation of squeezed states with up to 1.6 dB of squeezing below the vacuum level. Finally, security of remote state preparation is investigated by using the concept of the one-time pad and measuring the von Neumann entropies. We find nearly identical values for the entropy of the remotely prepared state and the respective conditional entropy given the classically communicated information and, thus, demonstrate close-to-perfect security. Continuous-variable remote state preparation in the microwave domain would allow to leverage the superconducting technology for quantum networks applications. Here, the authors show how to deterministically prepare squeezed Gaussian states across 35 cm using previously shared entanglement.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE The aim of this study was to investigate the correlation between adenosine triphosphate (ATP) 2B1 gene polymorphism in cerebral infarction (CI) patients and the onset of CI. PATIENTS AND METHODS A total of 100 CI patients (CI group) and 88 healthy people who received physical examination (Control group) were enrolled as study subjects. Meanwhile, 4 mL of venous blood was extracted from each subject. The single nucleotide polymorphisms of rs19203, rs13412 and rs28313 in the promoter region of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) 2B1 gene were classified via conformation-difference gel electrophoresis. Chi-square was adopted to test whether the frequency of ATP2B1 genotype distribution conformed to genetic equilibrium law. Meanwhile, the correlations between ATP2B1 alleles and gene polymorphism sites and the onset of CI were analyzed. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was performed to determine the level of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in the serum of CI patients. Furthermore, the correlation of ATP2B1 gene polymorphism with the expression level of VEGF was analyzed. RESULTS Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium analysis revealed that the polymorphisms of three ATP2B1 gene loci were in accordance with genetic equilibrium distribution (p>0.05). According to the results of genetic correlation analysis, the polymorphisms and alleles of ATP2B1 rs19203 and rs13412 were statistically correlated with the onset of CI (p<0.05). However, the rs28313 polymorphism and alleles were not correlated with the onset of CI (p>0.05). In addition, a statistically significant correlation between the polymorphisms of rs19203 and rs13412 and the expression level of VEGF was found in CI patients (p<0.05). CONCLUSIONS Rs19203 and rs13412 in the promoter region of the ATP2B1 gene are correlated with the onset of CI. However, rs28313 bears no relationship with CI.

Abstract
A narrow pentaquark state, P_{c}(4312)^{+}, decaying to J/ψp, is discovered with a statistical significance of 7.3σ in a data sample of Λ_{b}^{0}→J/ψpK^{-} decays, which is an order of magnitude larger than that previously analyzed by the LHCb Collaboration. The P_{c}(4450)^{+} pentaquark structure formerly reported by LHCb is confirmed and observed to consist of two narrow overlapping peaks, P_{c}(4440)^{+} and P_{c}(4457)^{+}, where the statistical significance of this two-peak interpretation is 5.4σ. The proximity of the Σ_{c}^{+}D[over ¯]^{0} and Σ_{c}^{+}D[over ¯]^{*0} thresholds to the observed narrow peaks suggests that they play an important role in the dynamics of these states.

Abstract
Objective: To introduce the method of galvanic vestibular stimulation-vestibular evoked myogenic potentials (GVS-VEMP) as well as to observe and analyze the parameters and elicited rate of GVS-cVEMP and GVS-oVEMP in healthy young people in China. Methods: Twenty six normal young subjects were recruited for conventional examinations of GVS-VEMP. The subjects were 21-37 years old, average age was (25.8±3.7) years old, including 13 males and 13 females. The galvanic stimulation intensity of 3 mA/1 ms was used to evoke cVEMP and oVEMP on the sternocleidomastoid and inferior extraocular muscles respectively, and the intensity of stimulus was decreased until the response disappeared, the threshold, latency, amplitude, interval phase and interaural amplitude ratio(IAR) were calculated. SPSS18.0 software was used for statistical analysis. Results: All subjects were elicited normal GVS-cVEMP and GVS-oVEMP under 3 mA/1 ms, the elicited rate was 100%. The threshold of GVS-cVEMP was (1.18±0.47) mA, p1 latency was (10.43±1.54) ms, n1 latency was (17.91±1.20) ms, the amplitude was (102.47±56.77) uV and IAR was (0.26±0.20). The threshold of GVS-oVEMP was (1.12±0.50) mA, n1 latency was (8.46±1.05) ms, p1 latency was (11.83±1.27) ms, the amplitude was (9.12±6.82) uV and IAR was (0.25±0.20). In terms of gender and lateral comparison, only the GVS-oVEMP amplitude was higher for male than for female, which had significant statistical difference (P<0.05), and there was no statistical difference in the other parameters between GVS-cVEMP and GVS-oVEMP. Conclusion: GVS-cVEMP and GVS-oVEMP could be elicited in healthy youth population, and the parameters could provide reference for subsequent vestibular function evaluation.

Abstract
Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is one of the most malignant tumors with poor prognosis, and the interaction between activated pancreatic stellate cells (PSCs) and PDAC cells plays an important role in the development of PDAC. The aim of this study was to identify gene changes in BXPC-3 after cross-talked with PSCs and reveal their potential mechanisms. The gene expression profiling analysis of BXPC-3 was completed after co-cultured with primary PSCs for 48 h. The gene ontology (GO) and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes pathway (KEGG) enrichment analyses were performed, and the differentially expressed genes (DEGs) were identified by Agilent GeneSpring GX software. In total, 3657 DEGs were identified in BXPC-3, including 1881 up-regulated genes and 1776 downregulated genes. GO analysis results showed that up-regulated DEGs were significantly enriched in biological processes (BP), including peptide metabolic process, response to stress, and electron transport chain; the down-regulated DEGs were significantly enriched in biological processes, including signaling, multicellular organismal development, and anatomical structure development. KEGG pathway analysis revealed that 19 pathways were upregulated and 32 pathways were downregulated, and that up-regulated DEGs were enriched in protein export and glutathione metabolism, while the down-regulated DEGs were enriched in axon guidance and focal adhesion. The top 10 up-regulated genes, and the top 10 down-regulated genes were identified. By constructing PPI network, we selected out 10 key genes (TP53, SRC, IL6, JUN, ISG15, CAD, STAT1, OAS3, OAS1, VIM) and significant pathways. The associated survival analysis was performed and the SRC, IL-6, ISG15, STAT1, OAS3, OAS1 and VIM were proved to be related to worse overall survival time of PDAC patients. In conclusion, the present study indicated that the identified DEGs promote our understanding of the molecular mechanisms underlying the interaction between pancreatic cancer cells and PSCs and might be used as molecular targets in the future to study the role of tumor microenvironment in the progression of PDAC.

Abstract
The relationship between recurrent intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) and total burden of cerebral small vessel disease (CSVD) is not completely investigated. We aimed to study whether recurrent intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) had higher CSVD score than first-ever ICH. Lacunes, white matter hyperintensities (WMH), cerebral microbleeds (CMBs), enlarged perivascular spaces (EPVS), cortical superficial siderosis (cSS) and CSVD score were rated on brain magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in primary ICH patients. Recurrent ICHs were confirmed by reviewing the medical records and MRI scans. Mixed hematomas were defined as follows: deep + lobar, deep + cerebellar, or deep + lobar + cerebellar. Of the 184 patients with primary ICH enrolled (mean age, 61.0 years; 75.5% men), recurrent ICH was present in 45 (24.5%) patients; 26.1% (48/184) had ≥2 hematomas, 93.8% (45/48) of which exhibited recurrent ICH. Mixed hematomas were identified in 8.7% (16/184) of patients and bilateral hematomas in 17.9% (33/184). All mixed hematomas and bilateral hematomas were from cases of recurrent ICH. Patients with mixed etiology-ICH were more likely to have recurrent ICH than patients with cerebral amyloid angiopathy (CAA) or hypertensive angiopathy (HA)-related ICH (36.8% vs17.8%, p=0.008). Multivariate ordinal regression analysis showed that the presence of recurrent ICH (p=0.001), ≥2 hematomas (p=0.002), mixed hematomas (p<0.00001), and bilateral hematomas (p=0.002) were separately significantly associated with a high CSVD score. Recurrent ICH occurs mostly among patients with mixed etiology-ICH and is associated with a higher CSVD burden than first-ever ICH, which needs to be verified by future larger studies.

Abstract
A new correlation electron cyclotron emission (CECE) diagnostic has recently been installed on the HL-2A tokamak in order to study electron temperature fluctuations. Eight radial locations are measured simultaneously through eight pairs of correlated channels. Multiplexers are employed in the intermediate frequency section instead of the conventional separated filter banks to meet strict cross-isolation specifications and lower insertion loss. Relative electron temperature fluctuations are observed by CECE for the first time on the HL-2A by using the spectral decorrelation method. The achieved minimum detectable fluctuation level is up to (T̃e/Te)min∼0.5%. When studying electron temperature fluctuations in the core region with gas puffing, the cross-power spectra show that the amplitude of the electron temperature fluctuation increases in a high temperature and low density plasma. Further analysis demonstrates that the electron temperature gradient ∇Te drives the electron temperature fluctuations together with electron heat transport.

Abstract
A search for charge-parity (CP) violation in D^{0}→K^{-}K^{+} and D^{0}→π^{-}π^{+} decays is reported, using pp collision data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5.9 fb^{-1} collected at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV with the LHCb detector. The flavor of the charm meson is inferred from the charge of the pion in D^{*}(2010)^{+}→D^{0}π^{+} decays or from the charge of the muon in B[over ¯]→D^{0}μ^{-}ν[over ¯]_{μ}X decays. The difference between the CP asymmetries in D^{0}→K^{-}K^{+} and D^{0}→π^{-}π^{+} decays is measured to be ΔA_{CP}=[-18.2±3.2(stat)±0.9(syst)]×10^{-4} for π-tagged and ΔA_{CP}=[-9±8(stat)±5(syst)]×10^{-4} for μ-tagged D^{0} mesons. Combining these with previous LHCb results leads to ΔA_{CP}=(-15.4±2.9)×10^{-4}, where the uncertainty includes both statistical and systematic contributions. The measured value differs from zero by more than 5 standard deviations. This is the first observation of CP violation in the decay of charm hadrons.

Abstract
It is well known that as the king of cancer, pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) has relatively malignant biological behavior and poor prognosis. The interaction between pancreatic stellate cells and PDAC cells promotes the development of PDAC. The aim of this study was to describe gene characteristics in pancreatic stellate cell (PSCs) after cross-talked with BXPC-3 and unravel their underlying mechanisms. The expression profiling analysis of genes in PSCs was completed after co-cultured with primary BXPC-3 for 48h. The Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes pathway (KEGG) enrichment analysis and gene ontology (GO) analysis were performed, and the differentially expressed genes (DEGs) were identified by Agilent GeneSpring GX program. In total, 1804 DEGs were filtered out in PSCs, including 958 up-regulated genes and 846 downregulated genes. GO analysis showed that the up-regulated DEGs were significantly enriched in biological processes (BP) such as defense response, immune system process and immune response; the down-regulated DEGs were significantly enriched in biological regulation and cytoskeleton organization. KEGG pathway analysis showed that 28 pathways were upregulated and 5 were downregulated. By constructing PPI network, we selected out 10 key genes (IL6,IL8, IL1B, BCL2, CCL2, CSF2, KIT, ICAM1, PTPRC and IGF1) and significant enriched pathways. In conclusion, the current study suggests that the filtered DEGs contribute to our understanding of the molecular mechanisms underlying the interaction between PSCs and pancreatic cancer cells, and might be used as molecular targets to further the study the role of tumor microenvironment in the progression of PDAC.

Abstract
A search for charge-parity (CP) violation in Cabibbo-suppressed D_{s}^{+}→K_{S}^{0}π^{+}, D^{+}→K_{S}^{0}K^{+}, and D^{+}→ϕπ^{+} decays is reported using proton-proton collision data, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3.8 fb^{-1}, collected at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV with the LHCb detector. High-yield samples of kinematically and topologically similar Cabibbo-favored D_{(s)}^{+} decays are analyzed to subtract nuisance asymmetries due to production and detection effects, including those induced by CP violation in the neutral kaon system. The results areA_{CP}(D_{s}^{+}→K_{S}^{0}π^{+})=(1.3±1.9±0.5)×10^{-3},A_{CP}(D^{+}→K_{S}^{0}K^{+})=(-0.09±0.65±0.48)×10^{-3},A_{CP}(D^{+}→ϕπ^{+})=(0.05±0.42±0.29)×10^{-3},where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second systematic. They are the most precise measurements of these quantities to date, and are consistent with CP symmetry. A combination with previous LHCb measurements, based on data collected at 7 and 8 TeV, is also reported.

Abstract
The first observation of the decays B_{(s)}^{0}→J/ψpp[over ¯] is reported, using proton-proton collision data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5.2 fb^{-1}, collected with the LHCb detector. These decays are suppressed due to limited available phase space, as well as due to Okubo-Zweig-Iizuka or Cabibbo suppression. The measured branching fractions are B(B^{0}→J/ψpp[over ¯])=[4.51±0.40(stat)±0.44(syst)]×10^{-7}, B(B_{s}^{0}→J/ψpp[over ¯])=[3.58±0.19(stat)±0.39(syst)]×10^{-6}. For the B_{s}^{0} meson, the result is much higher than the expected value of O(10^{-9}). The small available phase space in these decays also allows for the most precise single measurement of both the B^{0} mass as 5279.74±0.30(stat)±0.10(syst) MeV and the B_{s}^{0} mass as 5366.85±0.19(stat)±0.13(syst) MeV.

Abstract
A measurement of the ratio of branching fractions of the decays B^{+}→K^{+}μ^{+}μ^{-} and B^{+}→K^{+}e^{+}e^{-} is presented. The proton-proton collision data used correspond to an integrated luminosity of 5.0 fb^{-1} recorded with the LHCb experiment at center-of-mass energies of 7, 8, and 13 TeV. For the dilepton mass-squared range 1.1<q^{2}<6.0 GeV^{2}/c^{4} the ratio of branching fractions is measured to be R_{K}=0.846_{-0.054}^{+0.060}_{-0.014}^{+0.016}, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic. This is the most precise measurement of R_{K} to date and is compatible with the standard model at the level of 2.5 standard deviations.

Abstract
OBJECTIVES To investigate the association of kidney function with the total burden of Cerebral Small Vessel Disease (CSVD) in primary Intracerebral Hemorrhage (pICH). METHODS Cerebral magnetic resonance imagings of consecutively enrolled pICH patients were reviewed to assess for lacunes, White Matter Hyperintensity (WMH), Cerebral Microbleeds (CMBs) and Enlarged Perivascular Spaces (EPVS). Minor refinements to the CSVD score, namely modified CSVD score 1 and 2, were made by incorporating different weightings of CSVD markers. Kidney function was assessed using the estimated Glomerular Filtration Rate (eGFR). We used ordinal regression analysis to assess the association of kidney function with the CSVD score and modified scores. RESULTS In the 108 patients included, the presence of lacunes, CMBs, MWH and basal ganglia EPVS>10 was 27.8%, 67.6%, 47.2% and 35.2%, respectively. In multivariable ordinal regression, a decreasing eGFR value was associated with an increased CSVD score [Odds Ratio (OR) 0.978, 95% Confidence Interval (CI) 0.962 to 0.995, P=0.013], modified CSVD score 1 (OR 0.973, 95% CI 0.957 to 0.990, P=0.002) and 2 (OR 0.969, 95% CI 0.953 to 0.986, P<0.001). The link between eGFR and the total burden of CSVD was significant in strictly deep pICH (P=0.011 for CSVD score; P=0.001 for modified score 1 and 2), but not strictly lobar pICH in subgroup analysis. CONCLUSIONS Low eGFR is associated with a high burden of CSVD in patients with deep pICH, but not lobar pICH. Future studies are warranted to assess whether low eGFR is a potential therapeutic target for preventing the progress of CSVD burden for deep pICH.

Abstract
We probe the effectiveness of using topological defects to characterize the leading Lyapunov vector for a high-dimensional chaotic convective flow field. This is accomplished using large-scale parallel numerical simulations of Rayleigh-Bénard convection for experimentally accessible conditions. We quantify the statistical correlations between the spatiotemporal dynamics of the leading Lyapunov vector and different measures of the flow field pattern's topology and dynamics. We use a range of pattern diagnostics to describe the flow field structures which includes many of the traditional diagnostics used to describe convection as well as some diagnostics tailored to capture the dynamics of the patterns. We use the ideas of precision and recall to build a statistical description of each pattern diagnostic's ability to describe the spatial variation of the leading Lyapunov vector. The precision of a diagnostic indicates the probability that it will locate a region where the Lyapunov vector is larger than a threshold value. The recall of a diagnostic indicates its ability to locate all of the possible spatial regions where the Lyapunov vector is above threshold. By varying the threshold used for the Lyapunov vector magnitude, we generate precision-recall curves which we use to quantify the complex relationship between the pattern diagnostics and the spatiotemporally varying magnitude of the leading Lyapunov vector. We find that pattern diagnostics which include information regarding the flow history outperform pattern diagnostics that do not. In particular, an emerging target defect has the highest precision of all of the pattern diagnostics we have explored.

Abstract
Colon cancer is a major cause of cancer mortality worldwide and most colon cancers are adenocarcinoma. MicroRNA (miRNA) expression signature has been shown to be able to predict progression and prognosis of various cancers. The aim of our study was to explore a novel signature of microRNA expression for predicting survival of colon adenocarcinoma patients. By analyzing the miRNA expression profiles and clinical information of 329 colon adenocarcinoma patients derived from The Cancer Genome Atlas database. 129 miRNAs were identified to be expressed differentially between the cancer and adjacent tissues. Among them, 27 miRNAs were found to be associated with the corresponding clinical characteristics of the patients. Furthermore, 7 miRNAs (let-7a-2, mir-32, mir-181a-1, mir-197, mir-328, mir-505 and mir-652) were found to be significantly correlated with the patient survival. The risk established by the 7-miRNA signature we built was proved be an independent prognostic factor (Hazard ratio [HR] = 2.048; 95% CI = 1.144-3.664; p, 0.016). In summary, our study identified miRNAs correlated with progression and prognosis of colon adenocarcinoma and built a 7-microRNA expression signature for prediction of the survival of the patients with colon adenocarcinoma.

An angular analysis of B^{0}→J/ψK^{+}π^{-} decays is performed, using proton-proton collision data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 3 fb^{-1} collected with the LHCb detector. The m(K^{+}π^{-}) spectrum is divided into fine bins. In each m(K^{+}π^{-}) bin, the hypothesis that the three-dimensional angular distribution can be described by structures induced only by K^{*} resonances is examined, making minimal assumptions about the K^{+}π^{-} system. The data reject the K^{*}-only hypothesis with a large significance, implying the observation of exotic contributions in a model-independent fashion. Inspection of the m(J/ψπ^{-}) vs m(K^{+}π^{-}) plane suggests structures near m(J/ψπ^{-})=4200 and 4600 MeV.
