Abstract
Dual-wavelength multiple quantum wells (MQWs) have great potential in realizing high quality illumination, monolithic micro light-emitting diode (LED) displays and other related fields. Here, we demonstrate a single chip white light indium gallium nitride (InGaN) LED via the manipulation of the dual-wavelength MQWs. The MQWs contain four pairs of blue light-emitting MQWs and one pair of green light-emitting QW. The fabricated LED chips with nickel/gold (Ni/Au) as the current spreading layer emit white light with the injection current changing from 0.5 mA to 80 mA. The chromaticity coordinates of (0.3152, 0.329) closing to the white light location in the Commission International de I’Eclairage (CIE) 1931 chromaticity diagram are obtained under a 1 mA current injection with a color rendering index (CRI) Ra of 60 and correlated color temperature (CCT) of 6246 K. This strategy provides a promising route to realize high quality white light in a single chip, which will significantly simplify the production process of incumbent white light LEDs and promote the progress of high-quality illumination.

Abstract
The first full angular analysis and an updated measurement of the decay-rate CP asymmetry of the D^{0}→π^{+}π^{-}μ^{+}μ^{-} and D^{0}→K^{+}K^{-}μ^{+}μ^{-} decays are reported. The analysis uses proton-proton collision data collected with the LHCb detector at center-of-mass energies of 7, 8, and 13 TeV. The dataset corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 9 fb^{-1}. The full set of CP -averaged angular observables and their CP asymmetries are measured as a function of the dimuon invariant mass. The results are consistent with expectations from the standard model and with CP symmetry.

Abstract
BackgroundDefects in regulatory T cell (Treg) number and function are associated with autoimmune diseases including SLE. Interleukin (IL)-2 is essential for the development and suppressive function of Treg, and therapies that exploit the ability of IL-2 to expand Treg have shown disease-modifying potential in SLE1. However, low-dose IL-2 has a short half-life and narrow selectivity for Treg over conventional CD4+ T cells (Tcon) and natural killer (NK) cells. Efavaleukin alfa is an IL-2 mutein Fc fusion protein; an introduced mutation decreases binding to IL-2Rβ and increases dependence on IL-2Rα (CD25). This preferential binding to the high-affinity IL-2R, constitutively expressed at high levels on Treg, leads to increased cell surface retention and sustained Treg signaling compared with recombinant IL-2. In healthy subjects, a single dose of efavaleukin alfa was well tolerated and led to robust and selective Treg expansion2.ObjectivesThis final analysis of a phase 1b, double-blind, placebo-controlled, multiple ascending dose study (NCT03451422) reports the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics (PK), and pharmacodynamic effects of efavaleukin alfa in patients with SLE.MethodsThe study included five ascending dose cohorts (cohort 1=lowest dose; cohort 5=highest dose). A total of 35 patients with SLE (age 24–71 years; 85.7% female; SLE diagnosed using SLICC or ACR criteria with ANA ≥1:80 and/or elevated anti-dsDNA antibodies) were randomized to receive efavaleukin alfa or placebo (5:2 ratio for cohorts 1–3; 3:1 ratio for cohorts 4–5) subcutaneously every 2 weeks (Q2W; cohorts 1, 2, 4, and 5) or every week (QW; cohort 3) in addition to standard of care therapy for a total of 12 weeks, with 6 weeks of follow-up. The primary endpoint was the incidence of treatment-emergent adverse events (TEAEs). Additional endpoints included serum PK of efavaleukin alfa and changes in numbers of Treg, CD4+ Tcon, CD8+ T cells, and NK cells in peripheral blood.ResultsThe most commonly reported TEAEs (occurring in ≥25% of efavaleukin alfa-treated subjects) included non-serious, mild or moderate (grade 1–2) injection site reactions. No grade 4 TEAEs or deaths occurred. Two serious AEs were reported in efavaleukin alfa-treated subjects: one event of syncope (grade 3) was observed in cohort 2 and was not considered related to treatment, and one case of eosinophilia (grade 2) was observed in cohort 5 and was considered related to treatment. Efavaleukin alfa PK was generally linear and dose-proportional, with a terminal half-life ranging from 18–30 hours. Peak Foxp3+ Treg expansion was observed at 8 days post-dose, and the magnitude of the peak was generally sustained after multiple QW or Q2W doses. The mean peak increases in Foxp3+ Treg were 14.8-, 17.4-, 5.7-, 2.4-, and 1.1-fold above baseline for efavaleukin alfa Q2W dosing cohorts 5, 4, 2, and 1 and placebo, respectively. At the final study assessment (42 days after the last dose), the mean Treg count was 1.3-fold above baseline (95% CI, 0.9–1.9). Treatment with efavaleukin alfa also expanded CD25bright Treg (peak 53.8-fold change) and CD31+ recent thymic emigrant (RTE), naïve, and memory Treg subsets. At the highest dose (cohort 5), low-level increases in numbers of CD4+ Tcon (peak 2.3-fold), CD8+ T cells (peak 2.1-fold), and NK cells (peak 2.9-fold) were observed.ConclusionMultiple ascending doses of efavaleukin alfa were safe and well tolerated and led to selective and prolonged Treg expansion in SLE patients. Results at the highest dose suggest a plateau in Treg expansion with low-level increases in other IL-2–responsive cells, although interpretation is limited due to small subject numbers. The highest tested dose may be outside the therapeutic window and thus will not be assessed in phase 2 clinical studies. These findings confirm and extend previous results in healthy subjects and support the ongoing phase 2b adaptive randomized controlled trial in patients with SLE.References[1]Humrich J. Abstract
Investigate theclinical practice of seizure prophylaxis after aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage in Chinese neurosurgeons.Aquestionnaire for this theme was designed and was sent to respondents through the internet. From July 2021 to October 2021, atotal of forty-three eligible questionnaires were collected. All responders come from affiliated hospitals of medical schools in China. Each of these hospitals admitted more than one hundred patients with aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage per year. Only 9.3% (4/43) of responders disagree with the prophylactic use of anticonvulsants. 86.04% (37/43) of responders perform seizure prophylaxis in clinical practice. Sodium valproate is the most commonly used regimen; 94.59% (35/37) of responders who perform prophylaxis chose this drug. The medication period differs sharply fromlessthan 3 daystolongerthan 14 daysamong different hospitals. The use of EEG was insufficient in Chinese patients. A low seizure rate was reported according to the feedback from Chinese neurosurgeons. In China, seizure prophylaxis after subarachnoid hemorrhage was not yet standardized. Clinicians' mastery of relevant knowledge is still not enough. Carrying out high-quality clinical research can help justify the use of anticonvulsants, which could also positively impact rational drug use.

Abstract
Tests of lepton universality in B^{0}→K_{S}^{0}ℓ^{+}ℓ^{-} and B^{+}→K^{*+}ℓ^{+}ℓ^{-} decays where ℓ is either an electron or a muon are presented. The differential branching fractions of B^{0}→K_{S}^{0}e^{+}e^{-} and B^{+}→K^{*+}e^{+}e^{-} decays are measured in intervals of the dilepton invariant mass squared. The measurements are performed using proton-proton collision data recorded by the LHCb experiment, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 9 fb^{-1} . The results are consistent with the standard model and previous tests of lepton universality in related decay modes. The first observation of B^{0}→K_{S}^{0}e^{+}e^{-} and B^{+}→K^{*+}e^{+}e^{-} decays is reported.

Observation of the Decay Λ_{b}^{0}→Λ_{c}^{+}τ^{-}ν[over ¯]_{τ}. PHYSICAL REVIEW LETTERS 2022; 128:191803. Abstract
The first observation of the semileptonic b-baryon decay Λ_{b}^{0}→Λ_{c}^{+}τ^{-}ν[over ¯]_{τ}, with a significance of 6.1σ, is reported using a data sample corresponding to 3 fb^{-1} of integrated luminosity, collected by the LHCb experiment at center-of-mass energies of 7 and 8 TeV at the LHC. The τ^{-} lepton is reconstructed in the hadronic decay to three charged pions. The ratio K=B(Λ_{b}^{0}→Λ_{c}^{+}τ^{-}ν[over ¯]_{τ})/B(Λ_{b}^{0}→Λ_{c}^{+}π^{-}π^{+}π^{-}) is measured to be 2.46±0.27±0.40, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic. The branching fraction B(Λ_{b}^{0}→Λ_{c}^{+}τ^{-}ν[over ¯]_{τ})=(1.50±0.16±0.25±0.23)% is obtained, where the third uncertainty is from the external branching fraction of the normalization channel Λ_{b}^{0}→Λ_{c}^{+}π^{-}π^{+}π^{-}. The ratio of semileptonic branching fractions R(Λ_{c}^{+})≡B(Λ_{b}^{0}→Λ_{c}^{+}τ^{-}ν[over ¯]_{τ})/B(Λ_{b}^{0}→Λ_{c}^{+}μ^{-}ν[over ¯]_{μ}) is derived to be 0.242±0.026±0.040±0.059, where the external branching fraction uncertainty from the channel Λ_{b}^{0}→Λ_{c}^{+}μ^{-}ν[over ¯]_{μ} contributes to the last term. This result is in agreement with the standard model prediction.

Observation of Two New Excited Ξ_{b}^{0} States Decaying to Λ_{b}^{0}K^{-}π^{+}. PHYSICAL REVIEW LETTERS 2022; 128:162001. Abstract
Two narrow resonant states are observed in the Λ_{b}^{0}K^{-}π^{+} mass spectrum using a data sample of proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV, collected by the LHCb experiment and corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 6 fb^{-1}. The minimal quark content of the Λ_{b}^{0}K^{-}π^{+} system indicates that these are excited Ξ_{b}^{0} baryons. The masses of the Ξ_{b}(6327)^{0} and Ξ_{b}(6333)^{0} states are m[Ξ_{b}(6327)^{0}]=6327.28_{-0.21}^{+0.23}±0.12±0.24 and m[Ξ_{b}(6333)^{0}]=6332.69_{-0.18}^{+0.17}±0.03±0.22 MeV, respectively, with a mass splitting of Δm=5.41_{-0.27}^{+0.26}±0.12 MeV, where the uncertainties are statistical, systematic, and due to the Λ_{b}^{0} mass measurement. The measured natural widths of these states are consistent with zero, with upper limits of Γ[Ξ_{b}(6327)^{0}]<2.20(2.56) and Γ[Ξ_{b}(6333)^{0}]<1.60(1.92) MeV at a 90% (95%) credibility level. The significance of the two-peak hypothesis is larger than nine (five) Gaussian standard deviations compared to the no-peak (one-peak) hypothesis. The masses, widths, and resonant structure of the new states are in good agreement with the expectations for a doublet of 1D Ξ_{b}^{0} resonances.

Abstract
Ultrathin gallium nitride (GaN) application can be profoundly influenced by its quality, especially the issue of amorphous interfacial layers formed on conventional substrates. Herein, we report a two-step deposition of an ultrathin GaN film via the plasma-enhanced atomic layer deposition (PEALD) technique on a mono-MoS2 template over a SiO2/Si substrate for quality improvement, by starting the deposition temperature at 260 °C and then ramping it to 320 °C. It was found that a lower initiating deposition temperature could be conducive to maintaining the mono-MoS2 template to support the subsequent growth of GaN. Compared to the control group of one-step high-temperature deposition at 320 °C, ideal layer-by-layer film growth is achieved at the low temperature of the two-step method instead of island formation, leading to the direct crystallization of GaN on the substrate with a rather sharp interface. Structural and chemical characterizations show that this two-step method produces a preferred [0001] orientation of the film originating from the interface region. Additionally, the improved two-step ultrathin GaN displays a smooth surface roughness as low as 0.58 nm, a low oxygen impurity concentration of 3.6%, and a nearly balanced Ga/N stoichiometry of 0.95:1. Our work paves a possible way to the feasible fabrication of ultrathin high-quality PEALD-GaN, and it is promising for better performance of relevant devices.

Abstract
The production of prompt charged particles in proton-lead collisions and in proton-proton collisions at the nucleon-nucleon center-of-mass energy sqrt[s_{NN}]=5 TeV is studied at LHCb as a function of pseudorapidity (η) and transverse momentum (p_{T}) with respect to the proton beam direction. The nuclear modification factor for charged particles is determined as a function of η between -4.8<η<-2.5 (backward region) and 2.0<η<4.8 (forward region), and p_{T} between 0.2<p_{T}<8.0 GeV/c. The results show a suppression of charged particle production in proton-lead collisions relative to proton-proton collisions in the forward region and an enhancement in the backward region for p_{T} larger than 1.5 GeV/c. This measurement constrains nuclear PDFs and saturation models at previously unexplored values of the parton momentum fraction down to 10^{-6}.

Abstract
Objective: To establish a three-dimensional model of middle ear-eustachian tube based on Chinese digital visual human dataset, and the deformation and pressure changes of the middle ear-eustachian tube system after eustachian tube opening are simulated by computer numerical simulation. Methods: The first female Chinese Digital Visual Human data was adopted. The images were imported by Amira image processing software, and the images were segmented by Geomagic software to form a three-dimensional model of middle ear-eustachian tube system, including eustachian tube, tympanum, tympanic membrane, auditory ossicles, and mastoid air cells system. The 3D model was imported into Hypermesh software for meshing and analysis. The structural mechanics calculation was carried out by Abaqus, and gas flow was simulated by Xflow. The tissue deformation and middle ear pressure changes during eustachian tube opening were numerically simulated by fluid-solid coupling algorithm. Several pressure monitoring points including tympanum, mastoid, tympanic isthmus, and external auditory canal were set up in the model, and the pressure changes of each monitoring point were recorded and compared. Results: In this study, a three-dimensional model of middle ear-eustachian tube and a numerical simulation model of middle ear ventilation were established, including eustachian tube, tympanum, mastoid air cells, tympanic membrane, and auditory ossicles. The dynamic changes of the model after ventilation could be divided into five stages according to the pressure. In addition, the pressure changes of tympanum and tympanic isthmus were basically synchronous, and the pressure changes of mastoid air cells system were later than that of tympanum and tympanic isthmus, which verified the pressure buffering effect of mastoid. The extracted pressure curve of the external auditory canal was basically consistent with that of tympanometry in terms of value and trend, which verified the effectiveness of the model. Conclusions: The numerical simulation model of middle ear-eustachian tube ventilation established in this paper can simulate the tissue deformation and middle ear pressure changes after eustachian tube opening, and its accuracy and effectiveness are also verified. This not only lays a foundation for further research, but also provides a new research method for the study of middle ear ventilation.

Abstract
This study was intended to define T lymphocyte subsets in different clinical groups of COVID-19-infected patients to explore the interaction between T cell-mediated immune response and the severity of COVID-19 course. Lymphopenia in patients with severe COVID-19 was found. In patients with severe COVID-19 course, the absolute counts of CD3+, CD4+, and CD8+ T lymphocytes at admission were lower than on day 14 after discharge. Further analysis showed that the older were the patients with COVID-19, the more likely they developed severe infection. The results confirmed the significance of T lymphocytes in the clearance of the COVID-19.

Abstract
AIMS Our study aimed to evaluate the effects of different dosages of sodium butyrate and niacin on the growth performance, fecal vitamin B and microbiota in weaned piglets. METHODS AND RESULTS Seventy-two weaned piglets (Duroc×Landrace×Yorkshire, age of 21d) were randomly assigned to 1 of 6 treatments (12 pigs / treatment): the control (CT) group was administered a basal diet. The groups which concentration ratio of sodium butyrate to niacin were 100: 1, 100: 2, 100: 4, 100: 8 and 100: 16 (BN1, BN2, BN4, BN8, BN16) were administered a basal diet supplemented with 2000 mg·kg-1 sodium butyrate and 20 mg·kg-1 , 40 mg·kg-1 , 80 mg·kg-1 , 160 mg·kg-1 or 320 mg·kg-1 niacin. After 14-d treatment, the samples were collected. The results showed that feed conversion rate (FCR) was reduced and average daily gain (ADG) was increased in BN2 (P < 0.05). The diarrhea index of pigs decreased with the low supplement. Additionally, compared with CT group, other groups significantly increased (P < 0.05) the abundance of Firmicutes (BN4, phylum), Lactobacillaceae (BN8, family), Megasphaera (BN8, genus), and Lactobacillus (BN8, genus). Furthermore, the sodium butyrate and niacin supplementation influence vitamin B1, vitamin B2, pyridoxine, niacin, nicotinamide, and vitamin B12 (P < 0.05). Correlation analysis of the association of microorganisms with vitamin B indicated that changes of vitamin B metabolism have potential correlation with alterations of fecal microbiota in weaned piglets. CONCLUSIONS The results indicated that adding of sodium butyrate and niacin in the diet could promote the performance and improve the fecal microbiota and vitamin B metabolism in weaned piglets. SIGNIFICANCE AND IMPACT OF THE STUDY Our study might provide clues to the research of correlations between fecal bacteria and fecal vitamin B, and these findings will contribute to the direction of future research in weaned piglets.

Abstract
Investigating the patterns of water and carbon dynamics in agro-ecosystems in response to clouds and aerosols can shed new insights in understanding the biophysical impacts of climate change on crop productivity and water consumption. In this study, the effects of clouds and aerosols as well as other environmental factors on ecosystem water and carbon fluxes were examined based on three-year eddy covariance measurements under different sky conditions (quantified as the clearness index, Kt, i.e., the ratio of global solar radiation to extraterrestrial solar radiation) in a kiwifruit plantation in the humid Sichuan Basin of China. Results showed that evapotranspiration (ET) and canopy transpiration (Tc, measured by sap flow sensors) increased, while ecosystem light use efficiency (eLUE) and ecosystem water use efficiency (eWUE) decreased with increasing Kt. GPP presented a parabolic relationship with increasing Kt. The path analysis revealed that surface conductance (Gs) and canopy conductance (Gc) were the most dominant variables directly regulated carbon (GPP) and water (ET and Tc) fluxes. The effect path of Kt on ET and Tc was converted from through diffuse photosynthetic active radiation (PARdif) to direct PAR (PARdir) when the sky became clearer. The effect path of Kt on GPP was primarily through PARdif under different sky conditions. The declined eWUE with increasing Kt was caused by the different responses of GPP and ET to PARdir under clear skies. The declined eLUE resulted from the sharp decrease in GPP/PARdir, which surpassed the slight increase of GPP/PARdif with increasing PAR. The Priestley-Taylor Jet Propulsion Laboratory ET model (PT-JPL) incorporating Kt with an exponential function produced more reliable Tc estimates but minor improvement in ET. Further, the LUE-GPP model incorporating Kt with a linear function obtained much better GPP estimates. Our study shed light on how sky conditions modulate water and carbon dynamics between the biosphere and atmosphere, highlighting the necessity of the inclusion of sky conditions for better modeling regional water and carbon budgets.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the clinicopathological and genetic characteristics of spindle cell hemangioma (SCH). Methods: The clinical, morphological and immunohistochemical features of 8 SCHs diagnosed from January 2013 to September 2021 in West China Hospital, Sichuan University, Chengdu, China were retrospectively analyzed. Hotspot mutations for IDH1 codon 132 and IDH2 codon 172 were tested in 4 SCHs and 29 other non-SCH lesions using Sanger sequencing. Results: The 8 cases occurred in patients with a wide age range, from neonate to 46 years (mean 28 years, median 32 years). Both genders were equally affected. The course of the disease spanned from half a year to 31 years. Two SCHs were recurrent tumors. All tumors involved the distal extremities (4 of foot, 2 of ankle and 2 of hand). Six cases were presented as a single lesion and 2 cases as multiple lesions. The tumor diameters were 1-5 cm. All the 8 SCHs were typically composed of cavernous vascular space and solid components consisting of slit-like vessels, spindle cells and epithelioid endothelial cells which often exhibited cytoplasmic vacuolation. These two alternating components and the vacuolated epithelioid endothelial cells were the distinctive diagnostic clues for SCH. Vascular endothelial cells including epithelioid cells in the solid areas expressed CD31 (8/8), ERG (4/4), CD34 (5/8) and D2-40 (2/3). The spindle cells expressed SMA (8/8). Neither endothelial cells nor spindle cells expressed HHV8 (0/7), Desmin (0/5) or S-100 (0/3). Mutations were revealed in 2 SCHs, with IDH1 mutation (p.R132C) and IDH2 mutation (p.R172G), respectively. The IDH1/2 gene hotspot mutations were not found in the remaining 2 SCHs or the other 29 non-SCH lesions. Simple excisions were performed for 7 cases, and partial resection for 1 case. Follow-up information was obtained in 6 cases, with follow-up time ranging from 5 to 90 months (average, 46 months). No metastasis occurred in the 6 cases. No recurrence occurred in cases treated with simple excision. The residual lesions of the patient who received partial resection were stable. Conclusions: SCH is rare and should be differentiated from a variety of benign and malignant vascular lesions. An accurate diagnosis of SCH is clinically important and can be achieved by combining clinical information and typical pathological presentation. IDH1/2 gene hotspot mutations are specific to SCH in vascular lesions. Genetic detection is helpful in the diagnosis of challenging cases.

Study of Z Bosons Produced in Association with Charm in the Forward Region. PHYSICAL REVIEW LETTERS 2022; 128:082001. Abstract
Events containing a Z boson and a charm jet are studied for the first time in the forward region of proton-proton collisions. The data sample used corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 6 fb^{-1} collected at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV with the LHCb detector. In events with a Z boson and a jet, the fraction of charm jets is determined in intervals of Z-boson rapidity in the range 2.0<y(Z)<4.5. A sizable enhancement is observed in the forwardmost y(Z) interval, which could be indicative of a valencelike intrinsic-charm component in the proton wave function.

Abstract
An amplitude analysis of flavor-untagged B_{s}^{0}→J/ψpp[over ¯] decays is performed using a sample of 797±31 decays reconstructed with the LHCb detector. The data, collected in proton-proton collisions between 2011 and 2018, correspond to an integrated luminosity of 9 fb^{-1}. Evidence for a new structure in the J/ψp and J/ψp[over ¯] systems with a mass of 4337_{-4}^{+7} _{-2}^{+2} MeV and a width of 29_{-12}^{+26} _{-14}^{+14} MeV is found, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic, with a significance in the range of 3.1 to 3.7σ, depending on the assigned J^{P} hypothesis.
