Abstract
OBJECTIVE To investigate stability of skeletal hard tissues, dental hard tissues and soft tissues after orthodonticorthognathic treatment in a long term. This study reviewed longitudinal changes in orthodontic-orthognathic patients of skeletal class III malocculsion, using lateral cephalometric radiographs in 3-12 years after treatment in comparison to treatment finishing. METHODS Twenty-two patients with skeletal Class III malocclusion following orthodontic-orthognathic surgery in Peking University School and Hospital of Stomatology from January 1, 2000 to January 1, 2009 were observed. The lateral cephalometric radiographs of the following stages were collected: treatment finishing (T1), 3 to 12 years after treatment (T2). Statistical analyses of cephalometrics were evaluated. Paired student t test was performed by SPSS 17.0. RESULTS Data of all the 22 patients were studied in longitudinal timeline after treatment and 3-12 years after treatment. From T1 to T2, we evaluated 11-SN (angle between the upper incisors axis and SN plane), 11-NA angle (angle between the upper incisors axis and NA plane), 11-NA mm (perpendicular distance from upper incisors to NA plane), 11-41 (angle between the upper incisors axis and lower incisors axis), 41-NB angle (angle between lower incisors and NB plane), 41-NB (perpendicular distance from lower incisors to NB plane), 41-MP angle (angle between lower incisors and GoGn plane), and IMPA [angle between lower incisor and mandibular plane (tangent line to submandibular border)]. Most hard tissues of the teeth remained stable but upper anterior teeth angulations decreased, indicating by significantly reducing 11-SN (T1: 110.98°±6.77°; T2: 109.21°±5.80°; P=0.005); reducing 11-NA (T1: 28.31°±6.80°; T2: 26.49°±6.18°; P=0.002); increasing 11-41 (T1: 123.51°±8.14°; T2: 125.7°±10.01°; P=0.035). From T1 to T2, we also evaluated SNA (angle of sella-nasion-A-point), SNB (angle of sella-nasion-B-point), ANB (angle of A-point-nasion-B-point), GoGn-SN (angle between GoGn and SN plane), GoGn-FH (angle between GoGn and Frankfort plane), Y axis (angel between Sella-Gn and Frankfort plane), N-ANS (distance from nasion point to ANS point), ANS-Me (distance from ANS point to Menton point), N-Me (distance from nasion point to Menton point), ANS-Me/N-Me% (proportion of ANS-Me to N-Me), and FMA (angle between Frankfort and mandibular plane), Wits appraisal (horizontal distance between points A and B on functional occlusal plane). Skeletal hard tissues also remained relatively stable, only N-Me value changed significantly with a decreasing facial height (T1: 124.98°±11.98°; T2: 122.4°±11.05°; P=0.024). From T1 to T2, we finally evaluated FH-NsPg angle (angle between NsPg and Frankfort plane), H angle (angel between H line and NB), FH-A'UL angle (angle between A'UL and Frankfort plane), FH-B'LL angle (angle between B'LL and Frankfort plane), UL-LL (angle between UL and LL), UL-EP (distance between UL and E line), LL-EP (distance between LL and E line), Sn-H (perpendicular distance between Sn point and H line), Nls-H (distance of nose-lip-sulcus to H line), Li-H (lower lip to H line), Si-H (lower lip sulcus to H line), and NLA (nasolabial angle, angle of Cm-Sn-UL-point). Soft tissues changes were observed in decreasing UL-EP [T1: (-2.78±2.20) mm; (-3.29±2.44) mm; P=0.02] and H angle (T1: 8.27°±3.71°; 7.32°±3.83°; P=0.006). Other soft tissues remained relatively stable by retruding upper lip position and chin changes with no statistical significance. CONCLUSION Orthodontic-orthognathic treatment can improve esthetics and occlusal function in patients of skeletal class III malocclusion with a stable long-term outcome.

Abstract
Objective: To discuss the feasibility and effectiveness of using micro-CT in bone-implant contact (BIC) evaluation in dogs, and to provide reference for clinical and scientific research. Methods: Bilateral mandibular second premolar and first molar of six male Beagle dogs were extracted. After 3 months' healing, eight implants were placed in bilateral mandible of each dog, four on each side. Dogs were sacrificed at 2 weeks, 4 weeks and 8 weeks after implant placement, two on each time point. Samples were scanned with micro-CT and digitally reconstructed. Bone-implant interface was analyzed at different analysis regions (25, 50 and 100 μm from implants' surface), different detection range models were obtained (each time point consists 48 models), and BIC was evaluated, and the results were counted as micro-CT(25), micro-CT(50), and micro-CT(100) groups. Then undecalcified slides were made (three slides for each sample) and stained with toluidine blue for observation and analysis of BIC using an optical microscope, and the results were counted as optical microscope groups. The advantages and disadvantages, evaluation efficiency and BIC of different methods were analyzed. Results: To evaluate BIC of single sample, it took about 90 minutes by micro-CT, which was much lower than the time of 14 days by optical microscope. The success rates of modeling of micro-CT(25), micro-CT(50), and micro-CT(100) groups all were 100.0% (48/48), and total success rate of micro-CT group was 100.0% (144/144). For optical microscope groups, the success rates of making slides 2, 4, 8 weeks were 89.6% (43/48), 93.8% (45/48) and 93.8% (45/48), respectively, and total success rates of optical microscope group was 92.4% (133/144). At 2, 4,8 weeks after implantation, BIC in micro-CT(25) group was significantly smaller than that in optical microscope group at the same time point (P<0.05). However, at 2, 4,8 weeks after implantation, BIC of the micro-CT(50) and micro-CT(100) groups showed no significant difference with optical microscope groups at the same time point (P>0.05). A significant correlation (P<0.001, each) was seen between slides and micro-CT (25, 50, 100 μm groups) concerning BIC (r=0.680, r=0.892, r=0.713), and error bias was -19.4%, -0.9%, 3.0%, respectively. The probability within the 95% limits of agreement were 97.9%. Conclusions: Micro-CT is a faster, simpler and more efficient way to analyze BIC at the implant-bone interface than optical microscope observation. BIC analysis by selecting 50 μm from implants' surface as analysis region using micro-CT is in consistent with that using the optical microscope.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the relationship between psoas muscle index (PMI) and early postoperative survival rate and the incidence of complications after liver transplantation in adults. Methods: The clinical data of 225 patients (male, n=184; female, n=41) underwent liver transplantation at the Organ Transplantation Department of First Central Clinic Institute of Tianjin Medical University from January 2014 to December 2016 were analyzed, retrospectively.Original disease: hepatitis B liver cirrhosis(44 cases), hepatitis C cirrhosis(10 cases), autoimmune liver cirrhosis(29 cases), other benign liver diseases(24 cases), liver cirrhosis with liver cancer(116 cases), hilar cholangiocarcinoma(1 case) and hepatic vascular sarcoma(1 case). The area of bilateral psoas muscle on the lower edge level of the third lumbar vertebral body was measured through preoperative CT image.The PMI was calculated using this formula: bilateral psoas muscle area (mm(2))/the square of the body height (m(2)). According to the receiver operating characteristic curve and cut-off values, the male and female patients were divided into low PMI group and high PMI group respectively.The χ(2) test, Fisher exact test and t-test was used to compare the differences in perioperative data, survival rate and postoperative complications between the two groups, respectively. Results: There were 44 patients in the low PMI group, and 181 patients in the high PMI group. ICU time was longer (82.5(62.0-128.0) hours vs.69.1(56.0-104.0) hours; P=0.006) and preoperative blood urea nitrogen level (5.86(4.35-15.52) mmol/L vs. 4.94(4.05-7.06) mmol/L; P=0.012) was higher in the low PMI group than those in the high PMI group. Incidence rates of grade 5 complication (18.2%) and grade 4a complication (18.2%) were higher in the low PMI group, and 120-day cumulative survival rate was lower than that in high PMI group(81.8% vs. 95.6%, P=0.001). On the other hand, there were no significant differences in preoperative white blood cell count level, serum creatinine level, operative time, anhepatic period time, intraoperative blood loss, and incidence of postoperative grade 3 complications between the two groups(all P>0.05). Conclusions: There is a significant correlation between PMI and early postoperative survival rate and incidence of complications.Patients with lower PMI has poor prognosis after liver transplantation.

Abstract
Objective: To observe the efficacy and safety of de novo combination of Lamivudine(LAM) and Adefovir Dipivoxil (ADV) therapy counter to Entecavir (ETV) monotherapy in patients with chronic hepatitis B (CHB)- related compensated liver cirrhosis. Methods: Patients with chronic hepatitis B-related compensated cirrhosis who were initially treated with LAM and ADV for more than 1 year were randomly assigned to two groups, one half replaced with ETV monotherapy, and the other half continued LAM and ADV co-therapy. Liver biochemistry, renal biochemistry, estimated glomerular filtration rate, alpha-fetoprotein, HBV serology markers and serum HBV DNA were measured every 3 months. Urine β2-microglobulin was measured every 6 months And retinol binding protein, followed up for 3 years. The mean values of the two groups were compared with t-test, and the rate of comparison was analyzed by x2 test. Results: A total of 580 cases were collected, 290 cases were replaced with ETV monotherapy, the other 290 patients continued to LAM and ADV combination therapy. In the ETV group, the rates of HBV DNA negative conversion at 1 year, 2 years and 3 years were 77.6%, 84.5% and 94.5% respectively, while the HBV DNA negative conversion rates at 1, 2 and 3 years in the LAM and ADV combination groups were 69.3%, 73.4% and 80.3% respectively. Among them, the negative rates of HBV DNA in the second year and the third year were P < 0.05, the difference was statistically significant. The 3-year cumulative gene-resistant rate in the ETV group was 1.4%, while the combined treatment was as high as 8.6%, and the difference was statistically significant in the two groups. The estimated value of serum creatinine and glomerular filtration rate in ETV group was followed by 3 years, and the baseline level was maintained, in the same group, the serum creatinine was higher than baseline, and the estimated value of glomerular filtration rate decreased. The results showed that there were 6.2%, 12.1%, 22.1% and 0, 0.3%, 1%, respectively, in 1, 2 and 3 years for the group of consecutive treatment and the replacement of ETV Group. The estimated glomerular filtration rate decreased by more than 30% compared with the baseline. The difference was statistically significant; the proportion of serum creatinine in the 1 year, 2 years and 3 years of the combined treatment group was 1.7%, 4.5% and 6.6%, compared with the baseline rise of > 50 μmol/l, and the ETV group was replaced in the 1 year, The values of 2 and 3 years were 0,0,0.7%, of which the 2nd and 3rd years were statistically significant; the proportion of microalbuminuria and retinol-binding protein in patients with combined treatment group was also significantly higher than that of Β2-m ETV Group. Conclusion: The initial combination of LAM and ADV therapy is inferior in terms of ETV monotherapy. Single therapy with ETV increase the rate of viral response, reduce the incidence of drug resistance, and also reduce the incidence of renal impairment in patients with chronic hepatitis B -related compensated liver cirrhosis.

Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the compliance rate of screening colonoscopy and associated factors in high-risk populations of colorectal cancer (CRC) in urban China. Methods: CRC screening data from the Program of Cancer Screening in Urban China conducted in 12 provinces in 2012-2014 was used in the present study. All 97 445 participants were asked to take epidemiological questionnaire survey to evaluate their cancer risk. Participants who were evaluated as "high risk for CRC" were recommended to receive colonoscopy at designated hospitals. Chi-square tests were used to compare the differences of participation rates between groups. Multivariate logistic regression models were applied to explore the potential factors associated withthe compliance rate of screening colonoscopy. Results: Overall, 97 445 participants of CRC high-risk were included in this analysis, and 14 949 of them took screening colonoscopy, yielding a participation rate of 15.3%. The participation rate varied greatly across provinces, ranging from 25.2% (2 785/11 071) in Heilongjiang to 9.7% (1 698/17 515) in Liaoning. Moreover, the participation rate in 2013-2014 was significantly higher than that in 2012-2013 (17.1%(9 766/57 280) vs 12.9% (5 183/40 165), χ(2)=57.67, P<0.001) . The multivariate logistic regression analyses showed that: compared with individuals of 40-49 years old, individuals of 50-59 or 60-69 years old were more willing to accept screening colonoscopy, with OR of 1.17 (95% CI: 1.12-1.22) and 1.13 (95% CI: 1.08-1.19), respectively; compared with uneducated individuals, individuals with good educational background of equivalent to high school or higher (OR=1.29, 95% CI:1.10-1.50) were more willing to accept screening colonoscopy; compared with individuals who never took fecal occult blood tests (FOBT) before, individuals with previous positive FOBT results (OR=1.40, 95% CI:1.31-1.50) were more willing to accept screening colonoscopy; compared with individuals with no inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD), individuals with IBD (OR=1.63, 95%CI:1.56-1.69) were more willing to accept screening colonoscopy; Compared with individuals without polyp history, individuals having history of previous polyp detection (OR=1.43, 95% CI:1.37-1.50) were more willing to accept screening colonoscopy; compared to individuals with no family history of CRC, individuals with history of CRC (OR=1.60, 95% CI:1.53-1.66) were more willing to accept screening colonoscopy. Conclusion: The overall participation rate of screening colonoscopy among high-risk population of CRC in the 12 participating sites was 15.3%. The study findings indicated that age, education level, history of past fecal occult blood test, IBD, history of polyp, family history of CRC were associated with the compliance rate of colonoscopy in this population-based CRC screening program.

Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the short-term outcomes and safety of submucosal tunneling endoscopic resection (STER) for submucosal tumors (SMT) originating from muscularis propria (MP) layer at esophagogastric junction. Methods: The clinical data of 31 patients with SMT originating from MP layer at esophagogastric junction underwent STER were collected and retrospectively analyzed. Results: The success rate of STER of the thirty-one patients was 100%. The mean tumor size was (2.5±1.3) cm and the average operative time was (95.9±56.7) min. Perforation occurred in 3 patients and was successfully clipped by endo-clips during operation. One patient developed delayed bleeding and the bleeding was stopped by endoscopic hemostasis. Twenty-nine leiomyomas and two stromal tumors (GIST) were finally pathologically diagnosed. No local recurrence and distant metastasis were noted during the mean 15.4 months follow-up of 20 cases. According to the lesion size, 31 patients who received STER were divided into two groups. The operation time of maximum diameter ≥3.5 cm group was (134.0±70.6) min, significantly longer than (80.3±42.6) min of maximum diameter <3.5 cm group (P=0.014). However, the en bloc removal rate, postoperative hospital stay and the complication incidence between the two groups had no obvious differences (P>0.05). Univariate analysis showed that the piecemeal removal group had longer tumor diameter, higher incidence of irregular tumor morphology, and longer operative time than the en bloc removal group (all P<0.05). Stepwise logistic regression analysis showed that irregular shape was a risk factor for failure of en bloc removal (OR=18.000, 95% CI: 1.885~171.88, P=0.012). Conclusion: As a new method of minimally invasive treatment, STER technology appears to be a safe and effective option for patients with SMT originating from MP layer at esophagogastric junction.

Abstract
目的 评价单倍型造血干细胞移植(haplo-HSCT)联合第三方脐血干细胞移植治疗重型再生障碍性贫血(SAA)的疗效及安全性。 方法 对2011年9月至2017年4月间接受haplo-HSCT联合第三方脐血干细胞移植的127例SAA患者进行回顾性研究。 结果 全部127例SAA患者中,男74例,女53例,中位年龄23.5(3~54)岁,其中极重型再生障碍性贫血65例。诊断至移植中位时间2(0.5~180)个月。单倍型造血干细胞来源为骨髓+外周血。脐血均选用单份,HLA配型≥4/6相合。127例患者均接受改良Bu/Cy+ATG/ALG预处理方案(白消安+环磷酰胺+抗胸腺细胞球蛋白/抗淋巴细胞球蛋白)。以环孢素A、霉酚酸酯联合短程甲氨蝶呤预防GVHD。回输单倍型供者单个核细胞10.87(3.61~24.00)×108/kg,CD34+细胞3.49(1.02~8.89)×106/kg;回输脐血单个核细胞2.22(1.10~7.30)×107/kg,CD34+细胞0.56(0.16~2.27)×105/kg。127例患者中5例发生早期死亡。在可评估的122例患者中,1例发生原发植入失败,其余121例患者成功植入(均为单倍型造血干细胞植入)。中性粒细胞、血小板植入时间分别为11(9~28)d、15(9~330)d,5例患者发生血小板植入不良。移植过程中74例(58.27%)发生感染。存活患者中位随访20.5(4.0~60.0)个月,Ⅱ~Ⅳ度急性GVHD发生率为24.79%(30/121),中/重度慢性GVHD发生率为14.15%(15/106),预期4年总生存率为(78.5±4.3)%,无失败生存率为(77.4±4.3)%。 结论 haplo-HSCT联合第三方脐血干细胞移植治疗SAA疗效确切且安全性较好,在无全相合供者情况下可作为有价值的治疗选择。

Abstract
Objective: To analyze the clinical characteristics of IgG4-related disease (IgG4-RD)so as to improve the understanding of IgG4-RD in China. Methods: IgG4-RD patients were recruited from Peking Union Medical College Hospital between January 2011 and January 2016. All patients were followed-up for more than 6 months. The demographic characteristics, symptoms, organ involvements, laboratory examinations and treatment efficacy were evaluated and analyzed. Results: A total of 346 patients were finally enrolled, including 230 males (66.5%) and 116 females (33.5%). The mean age of disease onset was (53.8±14.2) years old. The mostly common involved organs were lymph nodes (56.4%) and submandibular glands (52.6%). Other affected organs and manifestations included: swelling of the lacrimal glands (46.5%), autoimmune pancreatitis (38.4%), pulmonary involvement (28.0%), sclerosing cholangitis (25.4%), naso-sinusitis (23.4%), parotid gland swelling (21.7%), retroperitoneal fibrosis (19.9%), large arteries involvement (9.5%), kidney involvement (obstructive nephropathy caused by retroperitoneal fibrosis was excluded) (6.9%), skin lesions (6.4%). Rare features consisted of thyroid glands, pituitary glands, gastrointestinal tract, pachymeningitis, pericardium, sclerosing mediastinitis and orchitis. The majority of patients had multi-organ involvement, such as 74.3% patients with 3 and more, 18.2% and 7.5% patients with 2 and single organ involvement respectively. The average IgG4-RD responder index (IgG4-RD RI) was 13.21±5.70. History of allergy was found in 172 (49.7%) patients. As to the laboratory tests, elevated serum IgG4 levels were confirmed in 285 (94.1%) patients, which was positively correlated with IgG4-RD RI. There were 33.5% patients receiving monotherapy of glucocorticoid, 52.6% treated with glucocorticoids combined with immunosuppressive agents, 4.9% patients with immunosuppressant only, and 9.0% patients with mild disease not receiving medication. The majority (336, 97.1%) patients improved the above regimens. Conclusion: IgG4-RD is a systemic fibro-inflammatory disease with multiple organ involvement. The mostly common involved organs include lymph node, submandibular glands, and pancreas. Glucocorticoids and immunosuppressive agents were effective for IgG4-RD.

Abstract
Objective:To summarize the clinic procedure and experience about gene diagnosis and genetic counseling on hereditary hearing loss, and explore the strategy and principle about gene diagnosis and genetic counseling on hereditary hearing loss.Method:A retrospective analysis was used on the clinical data of 151 cases who aim at genetic counseling. The all cases were divided into 5 groups according to the purpose of genetic counseling, such as the occurrence risk of hearing loss, the etiological analysis, the choice of the intervention way, the examination guidance, the prevention of hearing loss and the usage requirement of Aminogly cosides drugs. The counseling procedure includes the investigation of the etiology and family history, drawing the family pedigree, general physical examination, auditory examination and genetic analysis. Sanger sequencing analysis and/or Targeted nextgeneration sequencing was utilized to detect the deaf-gene mutations. At last, the genetic counseling, fertility guidance and prenatal diagnosis will be made on the basis of the results of gene detection. Result:There are 33 newborns who did not pass the deafgene screening, 9 of them could be diagnosed definitely as hereditary hearing loss, and the other 24 were the carriers of deafgene mutation. Eighty of 104 deaf patients were diagnosed definitely as hereditary hearing loss and the related gene mutation was found. Six objects in the 10 patients with auditory neuropathy are diagnosed as OTOF or SLC17A8 gene mutations before cochlear implantation. Three of 7 reproductive age objects who had family history were recessive deaf-gene carriers, 2 of them carried the same target gene with the mate who receive our fertility guidance and prenatal diagnose. The other 1 object carried the dominant genetic mutation(incomplete dominant heredity). There were 4 pregnant women who did not pass the deaf-gene screening, 1 of them carry the same target gene with the mate. The populations who want to use Aminoglycosides drugs were not diagnosed as carrying any related mitochondrial gene mutation. We carried out the genetic counseling according to the results of gens detection and clinical phenotype.Conclusion:Genetic counseling is based on the different purpose. The analysis of gene diagnosis should be considered to combine with the clinical phenotype. The principle of choosing the objects to make a gene diagnosis includes: ①the all deaf-genes sequencing was applied for the deaf patients. ② the screening target gene sequencing was used for the newborns who did not pass the deaf-gene screening and the mate whose pregnant wife did not pass the deafgene screening. ③the specific target gene sequencing could be used for the patients who has a clear family history or specific phenotype.

Abstract
We report a measurement of electron antineutrino oscillation from the Daya Bay Reactor Neutrino Experiment with nearly 4 million reactor ν[over ¯]_{e} inverse β decay candidates observed over 1958 days of data collection. The installation of a flash analog-to-digital converter readout system and a special calibration campaign using different source enclosures reduce uncertainties in the absolute energy calibration to less than 0.5% for visible energies larger than 2 MeV. The uncertainty in the cosmogenic ^{9}Li and ^{8}He background is reduced from 45% to 30% in the near detectors. A detailed investigation of the spent nuclear fuel history improves its uncertainty from 100% to 30%. Analysis of the relative ν[over ¯]_{e} rates and energy spectra among detectors yields sin^{2}2θ_{13}=0.0856±0.0029 and Δm_{32}^{2}=(2.471_{-0.070}^{+0.068})×10^{-3} eV^{2} assuming the normal hierarchy, and Δm_{32}^{2}=-(2.575_{-0.070}^{+0.068})×10^{-3} eV^{2} assuming the inverted hierarchy.

Abstract
Objective:To analyze the audiological characteristics of female patients with X-linked Alport syndrome and to explore the relationship between genotype and phenotype in China. Method:The hearing data of 64 females diagnosed as Alport syndrome was reviewed and analyzed. All coding exons of COL4A5 genes were PCR-amplified and sequenced with genomic DNA, or mRNA of COL4A5 gene was RT-PCR amplified and sequenced with skin fibroblast. Result:The 64 cases who were accompanied by hematuria or proteinuria all received pure tone audiometry and acoustic immitance test. The incidence of hearing loss was 20.31% (13/64). The hearing were bilaterally symmetrical sensorineural deafness, most of which were mild and moderate hearing loss. The hearing curve is the groove curve. Among the 64 patients, 42 kinds of DNA variants were detected in 52 cases. Among the patients with hearing loss, 1 of them was 12 years old and the rest were over 35 years old. Mild mutations in 13 cases (10 cases of normal hearing and 3 cases of mild hearing loss) and severe mutations in in 12 cases ( 6 cases of normal hearing and 6 cases of mild to moderate hearing loss) were found in 25 cases over 35 years old. A total of 26 cases were followed up for 2 years or more, of which 7 cases had a downward trend of hearing loss, decreased about 5 dB each year, and there was no significant change in the hearing of the other patients. Conclusion:Mild and moderate hearing impairment, and groove type of audiometric curve are mainly found in Chinese X-linked Alport syndrome in females. Hearing loss occurs at middle-age. The onset time of hearing loss was later than that of the male, and the severity of hearing loss was lighter than that of the male. In the course of follow-up, some patients had a downward trend in hearing, and there was no significant correlation between the hearing phenotype and the genotype.

Abstract
Several compact neutron spectrometers are now installed at EAST (Experimental Advanced Superconducting Tokamak) to obtain information on fuel ions produced in the core of the plasma. In this paper, a stilbene crystal neutron spectrometer and an EJ301 liquid scintillator neutron spectrometer with n-γ discrimination capability will be discussed. Both spectrometers have a horizontal line of sight, while at different positions. In the last few experiment campaigns at EAST, they all proved to be reliable diagnostics for auxiliary heated D-D plasmas. Taking the response function simulated by dedicated Geant4 models into consideration, the velocity-space sensitivities given by the instrument-specific weight function of the beam-thermal part of neutron energy spectra in D-D plasmas are derived for both spectrometers with the Genesis code. Abstract
The Time-Of-Flight Enhanced Diagnostics (TOFED) neutron spectrometer with a double-ring structure has been installed at the Experimental Advanced Superconducting Tokamak (EAST) to perform advanced neutron emission spectroscopy diagnosis for deuterium plasma. In order to reduce the random coincidence from the background neutrons and gamma-rays, TOFED was moved outside the experimental hall and placed in the newly-built nuclear diagnostics laboratory in 2017. In this paper, the instrument-specific weight functions of TOFED are derived by taking the instrument response matrix and the radial line of sight in this new layout into consideration. The results show that the instrument is predominantly sensitive to counter-passing particles in the region where time-of-flights < 69.4 ns, while events at higher time-of-flights (corresponding lower neutron energies) are mostly representative of co-passing ions. The instrument-specific weight functions express the relationship between data in a given channel of the spectrum and the velocity space region that contributes to that. The results can be applied for energetic particle physics studies at EAST, in particular to compare data from different diagnostic techniques.

Abstract
The human opportunistic pathogen Pseudomonas aeruginosa expresses three acyl carrier proteins (ACPs): AcpP, Acp1, and Acp3. The function of AcpP in membrane fatty acid synthesis (FAS) was confirmed recently, but the physiological roles of Acp1 and Acp3 remain unclear. To address this, we investigated the physiological role of Acp3 in P. aeruginosa. We found that expression of Acp3 dramatically increases in the log phase of cell growth and that its transcription is under the control of the QS regulators LasR and RhlR. Deletion of acp3 from P. aeruginosa strain PAO1 results in thicker biofilm formation, increased resistance of the strain to hydrogen peroxide, and higher persistence in a mouse infection model. Tandem affinity purification (TAP) experiments revealed several novel protein-binding partners of Acp3, including KatA, the major catalase in P. aeruginosa. Acp3 was found to repress the catalase activity of KatA and, consistent with inhibition by Acp3, less reactive oxygen species are present in the acp3 deletion strain. Overall, our study reveals that Acp3 has a distinct function from that of the canonical AcpP and may be involved in the oxidative stress response.

Abstract
Visceral hypersensitivity is a highly complex and subjective phenomenon associated with multiple levels of the nervous system and a wide range of neurotransmission. The dorsal horn (DH) in spinal cord relays the peripheral sensory information into the brain. Small conductance Ca2+-activated K+ (SK) channels regulate neuronal excitability and firing by allowing K+ to efflux in response to increase in the intracellular Ca2+ level. In this study, we examined the influence of SK2 channels in the spinal DH on the pathogenesis of visceral hypersensitivity induced by colorectal distension (CRD) in rats. Electrophysiological results showed that rats with visceral hypersensitivity presented a decrease in the SK channel-mediated afterhyperpolarization current (IAHP), and an increase in neuronal firing rates and c-Fos positive staining in the spinal DH. Western blot data revealed a decrease in the SK2 channel protein in the membrane fraction. Moreover, intrathecal administration of the SK2 channel activator 1-EBIO or CyPPA alleviated visceral hypersensitivity, reversed the decrease in IAHP and the increase in neuronal firing rates in spinal DH in rats that experienced CRD. 1-EBIO or CyPPA effect could be prevented by SK2 channel blocker apamin. CRD induced an increase in c-Fos protein expression in the spinal DH, which was prevented by 1-EBIO. Together, these data suggest that visceral hypersensitivity and pain is associated with a decrease in the number and function of membrane SK2 channels in the spinal DH. Pharmacological manipulation of SK2 channels may open a new avenue for the treatment of visceral hypersensitivity and pain. Highlights:Neonatal colorectal distension induced visceral hypersensitivity in rats. Visceral hypersensitivity rats presented a decrease in afterhyperpolarization current (IAHP) and membrane SK2 channel protein in the spinal dorsal horn. Visceral hypersensitivity rats presented an increase in neuronal firing rate in the spinal dorsal horn. Intrathecal administration of SK2 channel activator 1-EBIO or CyPPA prevented visceral hypersensitivity and decrease in IAHP.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the snoring status of school-aged children in Beijing and explore the association of snoring and academic performance. Methods: A total of 7 925 children aged from 6 to 14 were selected from 15 primary and middle schools at 7 districts (Xicheng, Chaoyang, Changping, Shunyi, Fangshan, Huairou and Mentougou) in Beijing in 2015, using multi-stage stratified cluster random sampling method. The recruited children were asked to complete the Pediatric Sleep Questionnaire (PSQ) and a questionnaire related to sleep behavior. The multiplelogistic regression was used to analyze the association of snoring and academic performance. Results: A total of 794 (12.44%) children showed a decline in academic performance among 6 383 eligible respondentsfor data analysis. 580 (9.08%) children with snoring was identified, of which 333 and 247 were in frequency of 1-2 times per week and frequency of ≥3 times per week, respectively; 357, 170 and 53 were in snoring grade Ⅰ, grade Ⅱ and grade Ⅲ, respectively. Compared with the children without snoring, the OR (95%CI) for children with 1-2 times per week and ≥3 times per week was 1.363 (1.000-1.857) and 1.605 (1.135-2.269), respectively; and the OR (95%CI) for children with grade Ⅰ, grade Ⅱ and grade Ⅲ of snoring was 1.226 (0.893-1.683), 1.595 (1.062-2.397) and 2.31 (1.17-4.565), respectively. Conclusion: There is a statistical relationship between snoring and the decline of academic performance. The decline of academic performance positively associated with increased frequency and grade of snoring.

Abstract
Objective:To study the effect of nasal irrigation in treatment of children rhinosinusitis.To compare the effect with different nasal irrigation methods and nasal spray with budesonide.Method:Seventy-five patients with rhinosinusitis were divided randomly into four groups.Nasal irrigation with saline(20 cases),treated with budesonide nasal spray(20 cases),nasal irrigation with saline and budesonide(20 cases),nasal spray with 2.3% hypertonic saline (15 cases).Saccharin clearance time,physical examination of the nose and the quality of life were used to evaluate the efficiency at the beginning of the treatment,one and two weeks after the treatment,respectively.Result:After the therapy,the index of saccharin clearance time,physical examination of the nose and the quality of life were improved in each group.The budesonide and normal saline group is the greatest one.And then,the efficiency of treatment is budesonide nasal spray group >the 2.3% hypertonic saline group>the normal saline group.The differences between each group were significant.Conclusion:Nasal irrigation is a useful treatment in children rhinosinusitis.The efficiency of saline irrigation is less than budesonide aerosol spray.Add budesonide to the irrigation fluid combines the effect of the budesonide with irrigation and get more efficiency of treatment.

Abstract
Objective We aimed to investigate the mechanism of paraventricular nucleus (PVN) and ventral tegmental area (VTA) circuit in the pathogenesis of visceral pain-depression with a rat model induced by neonatal and adult colorectal distension (CRD). Methods Neonate male Sprague-Dayley (SD) rats underwent CRD on postnatal days 8, 10, and 12, and when matured, were tested for adult abdominal withdrawal reflex (AWR) scores to assess visceral hypersensitivity. The forced swimming test was employed to evaluate depression-like behaviors. The rats exhibiting visceral pain-depressive behaviors underwent lidocaine injection in the VTA to explore the relationship between VTA and visceral pain. Moreover, double immunofluorescence was employed to evaluate the qualitative and quantitative expression of dopamine/ c-Fos in CRD rats. After verifying the existed fiber projection from PVN to VTA, the intra-PVN microinjection of CRH-RNAi lentivirus to inhibit corticotropin-releasing hormone (CRH) expression, behavioral changes were assessed by AWR score and FST. Thereafter, with the sacrifice of the rats, the variations of TH protein in rats were evaluated by immunofluorescence and Western blot. Results Intra-VTA microinjection of lidocaine increased the pain threshold of CRD group. After intra-VTA microinjection of green retrograde tracer, immunofluorescence photomicrographs visualized the PVN with a typical green retrograde tracer. Intra-PVN microinjection of CRH-RNAi lentivirus alleviated the visceral pain-depression behaviors and decreased the TH protein expression in the VTA. Conclusion These data demonstrated that the VTA played a functional role in chronic visceral pain and depression, and the CRH-containing neurons in hypothalamic PVN may be implicated in the onset and maintenance of the chronic visceral pain and depression via the activation of dopamine in the VTA.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To investigate the effects of Toll like receptors on the osteogenesis of human pe-riodontal ligament stem cells (hPDLSCs) and probable molecular mechanism. METHODS Real-time PCR and flow cytometry were applied to test the expression of TLRs in hPDLSCs and the positive cell percentage of TLR. hPDLSCs were cultured in osteogenic medium for 7 to 14 days with different TLR agonists at various concentrations . The effect of different TLR on osteogenic differentiation of hPDLSCs was evaluated by alizarin red S staining, alkaline phosphatase (ALP) staining and ALP activity assay. Western blotting was used to analyze the phosphorylation levels of extracellular regulated protein kinases (ERK), c-Jun N-terminal protein kinase (JNK), P38, AKT and expression of Runx2 an osteogenic related gene after treatment with TLR agonists, compared with the effect of inhibitors of mitogen activated protein kinase (MAPK) or protein kinase B (PKB or AKT) on Runx2 expression of hPDLSCs cultured in osteogenic medium. RESULTS Higher expressions of TLR1,3,4,6 were found in hPDLSCs through real-time PCR. Positive cell percentage of TLR was determined by flow cytometry and described as TLR1: 2.82%±0.68%; TLR2: 1.26%±0.09%; TLR3: 13.23%±2.05%; TLR4: 3.64%±0.79%; TLR6: 3.21%±1.64%, whose tendency was comparable to their mRNA expression in hPDLSCs. Most TLR ligands had no effect on the ALP staining, activity and mineralization of hPDLSCs at lower concentration except for 0.1 mg/L PolyI:C could induce the osteogenic ability of hPDLSCs. On the contrary, Higher concentration of TLR ligands (PolyI:C: 10 mg/L, LPS: 10 mg/L , Pam3CSK4: 1 mg/L, FSL-1: 50 μg/L) had obviously inhibitory effect on osteogenic differentiation of hPDLSCs. Activation of TLR using higher concentration of TLR ligands could downregulate the phosphorylation levels of ERK, P38, JNK and AKT, and also reduced the expression of Runx2, compared with the untreated control. The inhibitors of MAPK (U0126, SP600125,SB203580) and inhibitor of AKT (perifosine) could also inhibit Runx2 expression. CONCLUSION Higher concentration of TLR ligands could inhibit osteogenic differentiation of hPDLSCs. This inhibitory effect seemed to be related to decreased phosphorylation of MAPK and AKT.

Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the efficacy of systemic glucocorticoid (steroid) combined with high dose inhaled steroid in the treatment of children with acute laryngitis. Methods: A total of 78 children with acute laryngitis were randomly divided into study group(n=40) and control group(n=38) between November 2016 and April 2017. In addition to routine treatment of anti infection and symptomatic treatment, Dexamethasone injection(0.3-0.5 mg/kg, 1-3 d, according to the patient's condition) was provided to each group. In addition to the treatment mentioned above, the study group were assigned to receive 1.0 mg Budesonide suspension for inhalation, oxygen-driven atomizing inhalation, every/30 minutes, 2 times in a row, after that every 12 hours. The improvement of inspiratory dyspnea, hoarseness, barking cough and wheezing of both groups was evaluated at 30 min, 1 h, 2 h, 6 h, 12 h, 24 h and 72 h after treatment.Sigmaplot 11.5 software was used to analyze the data. Results: No significant difference was detected in terms of inspiratory dyspnea, hoarseness, barking cough or stridor score before treatment between the two groups(P>0.05). Compared with those before treatment, symptoms of inspiratory dyspnea, hoarseness, barking cough and stridor score of both groups improved markedly at 12 h and 24 h after treatment(P<0.05). While there was no significant difference regarding inspiratory dyspnea, hoarseness, barking cough or stridor score at each time point after treatment between the two groups(P>0.05). The effective rate was 92.50% and 92.11% in study group and control group, respectively, and no significant difference was noted (P>0.05). Conclusion: Compared with single systemic glucocorticoid, systemic glucocorticoids combined with inhaled steroid possessed similar efficacy in treating acute laryngitis and relieving laryngeal obstruction of children.

Abstract
AIM Chronic hepatitis B (CHB) patients with normal alanine aminotransferase (ALT) levels are not free from significant hepatic lesions. Recently, there has been an improved understanding of the clinical significance of quantitative hepatitis B core antibody levels (qAnti-HBc) during CHB management. In this cross-sectional study, we evaluated the utility of qAnti-HBc in identifying significant liver inflammation in CHB patients. METHODS A total of 469 patients (training set, n = 363; validation set, n = 106) who underwent liver biopsy (LB) were included. The qAnti-HBc levels were quantified and the relationship between histology and serum markers was systematically analyzed. RESULTS In the training set, qAnti-HBc levels were found to have significant diagnostic value for moderate to severe liver inflammation (≥G2) in all patients (area under the receiver operating characteristic curve [AUROC] = 0.768; 95% confidence interval [CI], 0.721-0.810; P < 0.001) and in patients with normal or near-normal ALT levels (AUROC = 0.767; 95% CI, 0.697-0.828; P < 0.001). Our novel index (AC index) for the identification of ≥G2 inflammation, which combined the qAnti-HBc and ALT levels, significantly improved diagnostic performance (AUROC = 0.813; 95% CI, 0.768-0.852) compared to the use of ALT alone (AUROC = 0.779; 95% CI, 0.732-0.821) in all patients. In the validation set, the AC index showed an improved AUROC of 0.890 (95% CI, 0.814-0.942) and 0.867 (95% CI, 0.749-0.943) in all patients and patients with normal ALT levels, respectively. CONCLUSIONS The qAnti-HBc level predicts significant liver inflammation well, even in patients with normal or near-normal ALT levels. Compared with the conventional ALT level, the AC index is a more reliable non-invasive biomarker for significant liver inflammation in CHB patients.

Abstract
AIM To evaluate the role of diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) in the detection of endometrial carcinoma and to correlate the apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) value with Ki-67 expression. MATERIALS AND METHODS Fifty-two patients with invasive cancer who underwent pelvic MRI were prospectively evaluated using DWI with b-values of 0 and 1000 s/mm2.The ADC values from standard DWI were measured. The expression of Ki-67 in histological specimens was analysed using immunohistochemistry. The ADC values of endometrial carcinoma and normal endometrial parenchyma were compared. Relationships between ADC values and Ki-67 expression were determined using Wilcoxon's signed rank test and the Kruskal-Wallis test. RESULTS Endometrial carcinoma was detected at DWI as a hyperintense area in 92.3% (48/52) of patients. There was a significant difference in the mean ADC values between endometrial carcinoma and normal endometrial parenchyma (1.39±0.27×10-3 versus 0.93±0.21×10-3 mm2/s, p<0.001). The mean ADC values of grade 1 patients were significantly higher than those of grade 3 patients (1.01±0.16×10-3 versus 0.83±0.21×10-3 mm2/s, p<0.05). The mean ADC values of stage IB patients were significantly lower than those of stage IA patients (0.86±0.16×10-3 versus 1.04±0.21×10-3 mm2/s, p<0.01). The mean ADC values of high Ki-67 expression patients were significantly lower than those of low Ki-67 expression patients (0.82±0.12×10-3 versus 1.16±0.12×10-3 mm2/s, p<0.001). There was a significant negative correlation between the mean ADC value and Ki-67 expression (r=-0.82, p<0.001). CONCLUSION The ADC value was a helpful parameter for detecting the tumour grade, stage, and proliferation of endometrial carcinoma, and may further improve patient prognosis and contribute to the development of more effective treatment programmes.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the relationship between the recurrence of benign paroxysmal positional vertigo(BPPV) and the levels of bone mineral density(BMD) and estrogen in postmenopausal women. Methods: A total of 38 postmenopausal women with recurrent BPPV were recruited as study group, in the First Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University from December 2013 to June 2017. Meanwhile, 49 normal menopausal women were included as control. All patients were natural menopausal for over one year.The patients were diagnosed as BPPV based on results of Dix-Hallpike test and Roll-test, with at least two episodes of recurrent onset. In the subjects, BMD was measured by dual X-ray absorptiometry of lumbar vertebrae. Estrogen levels were obtained by testing serum estradiol (E2) levels in early morning fasting venous blood. In the present study, we compared the level of E2 and the value of BMD in two groups by SPSS 21.0. In the study group, patients with decreased BMD were divided into two groups: treatment and untreated group. The recurrence rate of BPPV was compared between the two groups within 12 months. Results: ①The averagel levels of E2 and BMD in the study group were (16.21±11.00)ng/L and -1.68±0.98) respectively, which were significantly lower than those in the control group (t value was 7.03 and 8.05 respectively, both P<0.05). The averagel levels of E2 and BMD incontrol group were(28.52±6.34)ng/L and -0.18±0.77 respectively. ②The number of patients with decreased BMD in the study group (30 cases) was more than that in control group (6 cases), and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). ③ The recurrence rate of BPPV in treatment group [17.6%(3/17)] was significantly lower than that of untreated group [61.5%(8/13)], and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion: Recurrent BPPV in postmenopausal women usually accompany with low levels of estrogen and BMD. Active treatment is helpful for their recurrence of BPPV.
