Abstract
OBJECTIVES Cephalic arch stenosis (CAS) is a common cause that leads to the failure of hemodialysis arteriovenous fistulas (AVFs). Patients with CAS are primarily treated with fluoroscopy-guided angioplasty. Here, seven patients with de novo cephalic arch stenosis who underwent office-based UG-PTA were. METHODS Retrospectively analyzed the total of 321 patients with AVF dysfunction in the nephrology departmnet between July 2017 and October 2018. Among them, seven patients with de novo CAS were included in this study and followed up every 2 months for more than a year. RESULTS No significant complications were seen from the operations, and the primary patency rates at 6 and 12 months were found to be 100% and 42.8%, respectively. CONCLUSIONS The office-based UG-PTA is probably safe, effective, and feasible in the management of CAS and can be used as a substitute for fluoroscopy-guided PTA.

Abstract
The therapeutic potential of nitric oxide (NO) has been highly attractive to tumor treatment, especially for surmounting the multidrug resistance (MDR) of cancer. However, the NO-involved therapy remains extremely challenging because of the difficulty to simultaneously control the NO release rate and real-time concentration. Herein, we construct NO-containing polymersomes with high amount of NO donors inherently grown on the polymer chains to keep the stability. These polymersomes can be simultaneously loaded with photosensitizer of IR780 iodide on the membrane layer and chemotherapeutic of DOX·HCl in the lumen. NO release can be triggered by the reduction conditions, and further accelerated by remote NIR irradiation due to the increased local temperature. The instantaneous NO release with high concentration significantly inhibits the P-gp expression and sensitize the chemotherapy, thus overcoming the tumor MDR and improving the anti-tumor activity. Meanwhile, DOX·HCl release is highly promoted at the intracellular conditions because of the cleavage of acid-labile cis-aconitic amide at endo/lysosomal pH, and the improved hydrophilicity of the membrane layer after NO release. The in vivo results show that the single intravenous injection of polymersome formulation companying with NIR irradiation exerts multi-modal therapies of chemotherapy, PTT/PDT, and NO-therapy on the MCF-7/R tumor models, showing superior and combinational treatment efficacy with the complete eradication of tumors and few side effects.

Abstract
1. This study investigated the effect of dietary calcium (Ca) levels on growth performance, bone development and Ca transporter gene expression levels in the small intestine of broiler chickens.2. On the day of hatch, 350, Ross 308 male broilers were randomly allotted to one of five treatments with five replicate pens each and 14 birds per pen. Dietary Ca levels in feed were 5.0, 7.0, 9.0, 11.0 and 13.0 g/kg, in which 9.0 g/kg was in the control diet. All diets contained 4.5 g/kg non-phytate phosphorus (NPP).3. The increase in dietary Ca levels from 5.0 to 13.0 g/kg did not affect the growth performance of 1- to 18-day-old broilers (P > 0.05).4. Increasing the Ca levels linearly increased the ash weight and the contents of ash, Ca and phosphorus (P) in the tibia of broilers at 18 days of age (P < 0.05). The contents of ash, Ca and P in broilers fed with 9.0 g/kg Ca were higher than those in birds fed with 5.0 g/kg Ca (P < 0.05).5. Increasing the Ca levels linearly decreased mRNA expression levels of the Ca-binding protein 28-kDa (CaBP-D28k), plasma membrane Ca-transporting ATPase 1b (PMCAlb), sodium (Na)/Ca exchanger 1 (NCX1), nuclear vitamin D receptor (nVDR) and membrane vitamin D receptor (mVDR) in the duodenum of broilers at 18 d of age (P < 0.05). Similar results were seen in the jejunum and ileum. Broilers fed 9.0-13.0 g/kg Ca in feed had lower mRNA expression levels of CaBP-D28k and PMCAlb in the small intestine than birds fed 5.0 g/kg Ca in feed (P < 0.05).6. The data indicated that low levels of dietary Ca stimulated its transporter gene transcription and promoted absorption, but high levels of Ca inhibited transporter gene expression and prevented excessive absorption in the small intestine of broiler chickens.

Abstract
A solid state terahertz interferometer has been developed on the recent commissioned HL-2M tokamak. It can work in a wide frequency region of 220-325 GHz, and the terahertz wave is generated from a low frequency phase locked voltage controlled oscillator with the frequency multiplying technique. A phase processor based on field programmable gate array (FPGA) technology is designed for the heterodyne interferometer, and it contributes to real-time display of electron density. To extract phase information, a novel numerical algorithm related to fast Fourier transform is written on the FPGA chip and enables one to obtain phase shift without being affected by amplitude variation induced by plasma absorption or frequency modulation from the outer electromagnetic environment. The interferometer achieves minimum measurable electron density in the order of 1016 m-3. With the plasma diagnosis, electron density and low frequency tearing mode have been measured during the first experimental campaign.

Abstract
Trastuzumab as a first HER2-targeted therapy for the treatment of HER2-positive breast cancer patients was introduced in 1998. Although trastuzumab has opened a new avenue to treat patients with HER2-positive breast cancer and other types of cancer, some patients are not responsive or become resistant to this treatment. So far, several mechanisms have been suggested for the mode of action of trastuzumab; however, the findings regarding these mechanisms are controversial. In this review, we aimed to provide a detailed insight into the various mechanisms of action of trastuzumab.

Abstract
The Crab Nebula is a bright source of gamma rays powered by the Crab Pulsar's rotational energy through the formation and termination of a relativistic electron-positron wind. We report the detection of gamma rays from this source with energies from 5 × 10-4 to 1.1 peta-electron volts with a spectrum showing gradual steepening over three energy decades. The ultrahigh-energy photons imply the presence of a peta-electron volt electron accelerator (a pevatron) in the nebula, with an acceleration rate exceeding 15% of the theoretical limit. We constrain the pevatron's size between 0.025 and 0.1 parsecs and the magnetic field to ≈110 microgauss. The production rate of peta-electron volt electrons, 2.5 × 1036 ergs per second, constitutes 0.5% of the pulsar spin-down luminosity, although we cannot exclude a contribution of peta-electron volt protons to the production of the highest-energy gamma rays.

Abstract
Imaging and serological approaches play an important role in the diagnosis and treatment of alveolar echinococcosis; however, they also suffer from some problems during their applications in clinical practices, which urges the identification of potential diagnostic markers. Novel serological, genomics and proteomics diagnostic markers alone or in combination may increase the sensitivity and specificity in early diagnosis of alveolar echinococcosis, which play vital roles in monitoring of disease courses and prognostic evaluation. This review mainly presents the advances in the studies on novel diagnostic markers for alveolar echinococcosis.

Abstract
Four fluorescent zinc(ii) metal–organic frameworks, namely [Zn(HCIA)(4,4′-bipy)] (1), [Zn2(CIA)(OH)(1,4-bibz)1.5]·H2O (2), [Zn(CIA)(OH) (4,4′-bbpy)] (3), and [Zn2(HCIA) (4,4′-bimp)]·H2O (4), were prepared hydrothermally with a flexible triangular ligand (H3CIA) and a series of linear N-donor ligands (H3CIA = 5-(2-carboxybenzyloxy) isophthalic acid, 4,4′-bipy = 4,4′-bipydine, 1,4-bibz = 1,4-bis(1-imidazoly)benzene; 4,4′-bbpy = 4,4′-bis (imidazolyl) biphenyl; 4,4′-bimp = 4,4′-bis (imidazole-1-ylethyl) biphenyl). Structural analyses revealed that complex 1 exhibited a 2D brick-like network structure based on the basic bimetallic ring, 2 was also a 2D interspersed structure from the 1D tubular structure, compound 3 possessed a 2D (4,4) network with 4,4′-bbpy occupying the holes, and complex 4 displayed a 2D network from the 1D ladder-like chain. The thermal stabilities and fluorescent properties of these complexes were investigated in the solid state. The fluorescent sensing experiments revealed that all Zn-MOFs could highly sensitively detect nitrobenzene in aqueous solution, which indicated that these materials can be used as fluorescent probes for the detection of nitrobenzene. Four fluorescent 2D Zn-MOFs based on a flexible triangular ligand and linear N-donor ligands are hydrothermally prepared and used to detect nitrobenzene in aqueous solution with high sensitivity, demonstrating their potential as fluorescent sensors.![]()

Abstract
We report the discovery of an extended very-high-energy (VHE) gamma-ray source around the location of the middle-aged (207.8 kyr) pulsar PSR J0622+3749 with the Large High-Altitude Air Shower Observatory (LHAASO). The source is detected with a significance of 8.2σ for E>25 TeV assuming a Gaussian template. The best-fit location is (right ascension, declination) =(95.47°±0.11°,37.92°±0.09°), and the extension is 0.40°±0.07°. The energy spectrum can be described by a power-law spectrum with an index of -2.92±0.17_{stat}±0.02_{sys}. No clear extended multiwavelength counterpart of the LHAASO source has been found from the radio to sub-TeV bands. The LHAASO observations are consistent with the scenario that VHE electrons escaped from the pulsar, diffused in the interstellar medium, and scattered the interstellar radiation field. If interpreted as the pulsar halo scenario, the diffusion coefficient, inferred for electrons with median energies of ∼160 TeV, is consistent with those obtained from the extended halos around Geminga and Monogem and much smaller than that derived from cosmic ray secondaries. The LHAASO discovery of this source thus likely enriches the class of so-called pulsar halos and confirms that high-energy particles generally diffuse very slowly in the disturbed medium around pulsars.

Abstract
The extension of the cosmic-ray spectrum beyond 1 petaelectronvolt (PeV; 1015 electronvolts) indicates the existence of the so-called PeVatrons-cosmic-ray factories that accelerate particles to PeV energies. We need to locate and identify such objects to find the origin of Galactic cosmic rays1. The principal signature of both electron and proton PeVatrons is ultrahigh-energy (exceeding 100 TeV) γ radiation. Evidence of the presence of a proton PeVatron has been found in the Galactic Centre, according to the detection of a hard-spectrum radiation extending to 0.04 PeV (ref. 2). Although γ-rays with energies slightly higher than 0.1 PeV have been reported from a few objects in the Galactic plane3-6, unbiased identification and in-depth exploration of PeVatrons requires detection of γ-rays with energies well above 0.1 PeV. Here we report the detection of more than 530 photons at energies above 100 teraelectronvolts and up to 1.4 PeV from 12 ultrahigh-energy γ-ray sources with a statistical significance greater than seven standard deviations. Despite having several potential counterparts in their proximity, including pulsar wind nebulae, supernova remnants and star-forming regions, the PeVatrons responsible for the ultrahigh-energy γ-rays have not yet been firmly localized and identified (except for the Crab Nebula), leaving open the origin of these extreme accelerators.

Abstract
Whether patients with myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) undergoing allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT) benefit from pretransplant cytoreductive therapy remains controversial. Our study compared the outcomes of upfront transplantation with those of pretransplant cytoreductive therapy in the patients who received transplantation and those who dropped out due to cytoreductive therapy-related adverse effects. Patients with MDS-EB-1 or MDS-EB-2 were enrolled and divided into three groups based on therapy pretransplantation: upfront transplantation (upfront, n = 54), induction chemotherapy (CT, n = 66) and hypomethylating agents (HMA, n = 37) alone. One hundred fifty-seven patients were enrolled and 124 received allo-HSCT, with 5.6%, 28.8% and 29.7% of drop-out rate of transplantation in upfront, CT and HMA groups (P = .030), respectively. Overall therapy-related mortality (TRM), cytoreductive therapy and transplant-related mortality was 13.0%, 32.4% and 28.4% (P = .028), and 5-year overall survival (OS) was 73.6%, 43.4% and 46.9% (P = .033). Multivariate analysis showed that CT and HMA were risk factors for TRM and OS, and transplantation was a protective factor for OS. In transplant patients, 3-year cumulative incidence of relapse was 10.6%, 20.4% and 20.3% (P = .033), 5-year TRM was 14.5%, 20.0% and 17.6% (P = .651), OS was 77.3%, 64.3% and 68.8% (P = .047) and DFS was 74.0%, 63.0% and 65.8% (P = .042). Multivariate analysis showed that CT was a risk factor for DFS, while CT, HMA and poor karyotype were risk factors for relapse. Results suggested that pretransplant cytoreductive therapy was not associated with better outcomes in the patients who had undergone transplantation. Therefore, upfront transplantation may be preferable for MDS patients.

Abstract
Objective: The preseason prophylactic treatment of seasonal allergic rhinitis (AR) caused by pollens could alleviate AR symptoms during the pollen season. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of prophylaxis usage of suplatast tosilate on the life quality of AR patients in the pollen season, and investigate the potential mechanism of action through transcriptomic analysis. Methods: This is a randomized controlled study. AR patients allergic to weed pollens were recruited from Allergy Clinic of Peking Union Medical College Hospital from January 2020 to June 2020, and divided into prophylactic group who started to take suplatast tosilate as prophylaxis 2 weeks before the spread of weed pollens[n=10, 4 men and 6 women with age range of (34±6) years old] and control group who did not use any prophylactic treatment[n=24, 12 men and 12 women with age range of (33±9) years old]. The differences of age (t=0.381, P=0.706) and gender (χ²=0.595, P=0.715) distribution between the patients of two groups were not statistically significant. All the subjects filled in the rhinoconjunctivitis quality of life questionnaire (RQLQ) while onset of AR symptoms, and peripheral blood was drawn for transcriptomic analysis 1 month before and during the pollen season. Differences between groups were statistically analyzed through chi-square test and t test. Results: There was no significant difference in visual analogue scale of rhinitis symptom in the last pollen season between prophylactic group and control group[ 8.0 (6.4, 9.3) vs 7.3 (6.1, 8.0), Z=1.180, P=0.254]. The RQLQ score of prophylactic group was superior to that of control group in the weed pollen season (2.9±0.9 vs 3.7±0.9, t=-2.438, P=0.026). 210 differentially expressed genes of fold change ≥2 were identified, with 147 genes upregulated and 63 genes downregulated in the prophylactic group compared to the control group. Gene Ontology annotation showed that IL-12 and IL-23 related pathways were downregulated in prophylactic group (P=0.006 48). Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) verification of differentially expressed genes indicated that the relative expression level of HLA-G in prophylactic group was significantly lower than that in control group (0.23±0.19 vs 1.00±0.49,t=4.016, P=0.006). Conclusion: The prophylactic treatment of suplatast tosilate showed some benefit to the life quality of seasonal AR patients during the pollen season, and the potential mechanism might be related with the downregulation of IL-12 and IL-23 pathways and decreased expression of HLA-G.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate appropriate protocol of treatment modulation for seasonal allergic rhinitis (AR) patients, in order to promote the implementation of personalized medicine. Methods: Total of 124 AR patients allergic to cypress pollens were recruited from January to February 2020 in Department of Allergy in Peking Union Medical College Hospital, 43 males and 81 females with an average age of (41±9) years. The patients were divided into two groups with block randomization method. In the first group, treatment was modulated every two days according to the average daily rhinoconjunctivitis symptom score of the last two days (short-term symptom-score group); while in the second group, therapy regimen was adjusted every week based on the Allergic Rhinitis Control Test (ARCT) score of the last week (long-term ARCT group). The treatment level was up-regulated when the cypress pollen count increased and stayed at a high level (step-up pharmacotherapy stage); and treatment was down-regulated while the pollen count decreased (step-down pharmacotherapy stage). Daily symptom scores, medicine scores, and ARCT scores of the two groups were recorded and compared. Results: During the whole cypress pollen season, the daily rhinoconjunctivitis symptom score of short-term symptom-score group was significantly lower than that in long-term ARCT group(2.4±1.0 vs 2.7±1.0, P<0.01), and the difference between the two groups was more pronounced in the step-up pharmacotherapy stage than that in the step-down pharmacotherapy stage, while there was no statistical difference between the daily medicine scores of the two groups (P>0.05). During the pollen rising period, the ARCT score of short-term symptom-score group was significantly better than that of long-term ARCT group (21(19, 22) vs 20 (17, 21), P=0.049); while in the pollen peak period and decreasing period, the ARCT scores of the two groups showed no statistical difference (P>0.05). The proportion of incompliance with doctor's advice was higher in long-term ARCT group compared to that in short-term symptom-score group (30.1% vs 6.7%, P<0.001). Conclusion: The protocol of treatment modulation for seasonal AR patients allergic to pollens should be developed flexibly according to the variation trend of pollen allergen exposure, so as to implement the idea of personalized medicine.

Abstract
Due to the high reactivity of Ag+ and uncontrolled growth process, the AgNPs produced by conventional Lee-Meisel method always exhibited larger particle size (30-200 nm) and polydisperse morphology (including spherical, triangular, and rod-like shape). An ultrasound-intensified Lee-Meisel (UILM) method is developed in this study to environmental-friendly and controllable synthesize monodisperse spherical AgNPs (~3.7 nm). Effects of Ag:citrate ratio (1:3 or 5:4), ultrasound power (300 to 1200 W) and reaction time (4 to 24 min) on the physical-chemical properties of AgNPs are investigated systematically. The transmission electron microscope (TEM) images, UV-Vis spectra, average particle size, zeta potential and pH value all demonstrate that crystallization and digestive ripening processes are facilitated in the presence of ultrasound irradiation. Therefore, both chemical reaction rate and mass transfer rate are enhanced to accelerate primary nucleation and inhibit uncontrolled particle growth, leading to the formation of monodisperse spherical AgNPs. Moreover, a machine learning approach - Decision Tree Regressor in conjunction with Shapley value analysis reveal the concentration of reactants is a more important feature affecting the particle.

Abstract
Objective: To analyze the expression of CXC chemokine ligand 10 (CXCL10) in glioma and its clinical significance through bioinformatics. Methods: The expression level of CXCL10 in glioma, and its prognostic significance, gene ontology (GO) function annotation, Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genome (KEGG) pathway enrichment and the correlation of tumor cell purity were analyzed in TCGA, CGGA, MetaScape, TIMER databases. In addition, 34 clinical glioma tissues were collected for Western Blot and immunohistochemistry to further verify the correlation between CXCL10 and glioma. Results: CGGA and TCGA database analysis showed that with the increase of WHO grade, the expression of CXCL10 in gliomas increased (P<0.01). The overall survival rate of patients with high CXCL10 expression was significantly lower than that of patients with low expression (χ2 =148.1,P<0.05). Among patients with grade Ⅳ glioblastoma who received radiotherapy or chemotherapy, the patients with low CXCL10 expression were associated with good survival (χ2 =6.714,P<0.05;χ2 =5.618,P<0.05). Moreover, GO and KEGG analysis showed that genes co-expressed with CXCL10 were mainly enriched in the biological processes such as cytokine-mediated signaling pathways, regulating adaptive immune responses and inflammatory responses. Furthermore, TIMER database analysis showed that CXCL10 was negatively correlated with the purity of glioma cells (LGG: r=-0.129;GBM: r=-0.165;P<0.05). Similarly, clinical sample analysis also showed that the expression level of CXCL10 increased in glioma, and it increased with the grade of glioma (all P<0.05). Conclusion: The expression of CXCL10 is up-regulated in glioma as well as it increased with the malignant degree of glioma. At the same time, the high expression of CXCL10 in glioma is closely related to the poor prognosis of patients.

Abstract
Ultrafast control of material physical properties represents a rapidly developing field in condensed matter physics. Yet, accessing the long-lived photoinduced electronic states is still in its early stages, especially with respect to an insulator to metal phase transition. Here, by combining transport measurement with ultrashort photoexcitation and coherent phonon spectroscopy, we report on photoinduced multistage phase transitions in Ta2NiSe5. Upon excitation by weak pulse intensity, the system is triggered to a short-lived state accompanied by a structural change. Further increasing the excitation intensity beyond a threshold, a photoinduced steady new state is achieved where the resistivity drops by more than four orders at temperature 50 K. This new state is thermally stable up to at least 350 K and exhibits a lattice structure different from any of the thermally accessible equilibrium states. Transmission electron microscopy reveals an in-chain Ta atom displacement in the photoinduced new structure phase. We also found that nano-sheet samples with the thickness less than the optical penetration depth are required for attaining a complete transition.

Abstract
A prospective study was conducted to compare metagenomic next-generation sequencing (mNGS) and conventional testing in investigating the pathogens of central nervous system (CNS) infections in allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT) recipients. A total of 53 patients with CNS disorders after allo-HSCT were enrolled in this study. A total of 35 patients were diagnosed as CNS infections, including 28 viral, 2 bacterial, 1 fungal, 3 mixed infections, and 1 infection with unknown pathogen. Among these 35 patients with CNS infections, mNGS identified 5 patients who were not identified by conventional testing. For the remaining 30 infections, mNGS made concurrent diagnoses with conventional testing in 29, while 1 was diagnosed according to the good response to the antimicrobial treatment without etiological evidence. The presence of Aspergillus detected by mNGS only in one patient was considered false positive due to lack of validation. The sensitivity of mNGS and conventional testing for diagnosing CNS infections post transplant were 97.1% and 82.9%, respectively (P = 0.106), while the specificity of mNGS and conventional testing were 94.4% and 100%, respectively (P = 1.000). These results suggest that mNGS might be a promising technology for diagnosis of CNS infections post transplant. Viruses were the most common pathogens of CNS infections in allo-HSCT recipients.

Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the reliability and accuracy of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) on describing the structure of triangular fibrocartilage complex (TFCC) in 7 cadavers with autopsy being the golden standard. Methods: In total, 7 healthy cadavers were included (4 males, 3 females, the average age was 51 years). All cadavers were preserved under -30 ℃ condition and thawed out before the experiment. The autopsy was performed by the same group of hand surgeons immediately after the MRI examination (3.0 tesla, wrist coil,"superman"position). The integrity of triangular fibrocartilage (TFC), proximal component/distal component of distal radioulnar ligament (DRUL), ulnocarpal ligament (UCL) was evaluated, and the thickness of central portion of TFC was measured during the autopsy. The sensitivity, specificity, positive/negative predictive value (PPV/NPV) and positive/negative likelihood ratio (PLR/NLR) of MRI were calculated. The intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC) was calculated between the thickness of central portion of TFC on MRI and autopsy results. Results: With autopsy being the golden standard, the ICC of MRI= 0.838 (95%CI: 0.33-0.97, P<0.01). In evaluating the condition of central portion of TFC by MRI, sensitivity= 1, specificity=1, PLR=+∞, NLR=0. In evaluating the condition of proximal component/distal component of DRUL by MRI, sensitivity=1, specificity=0.83, PLR=6, NLR=0. The sensitivity, specificity, PPV, NPV, PLR, NLR of integrity of UCL in MRI was 0.33, 0.75, 0.50, 0.75, 1.33, 0.89, respectively. Conclusion: The 3.0T MRI can be a useful tool in diagnosis of the injury of TFC and proximal/distal component of DRUL, as it has a good description of TFCC's subtle structure.

Aberrant activation of HDACs results in uncontrolled proliferation and blockade of differentiation, and HDAC inhibition has been investigated as epigenetic therapeutic strategy against AML. Methods Cell growth was assessed with CCK-8 assay, and apoptosis was evaluated by flow cytometry in AML cell lines and CD45 + and CD34 + CD38- cells from patient samples after staining with Annexin V-fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC)/propidium iodide (PI). EZH2 was silenced with short hairpin RNA (shRNA) or overexpressed by lentiviral transfection. Changes in signaling pathways were detected by western blotting. The effect of chidamide or EZH2-specific shRNA (shEZH2) in combination with adriamycin was studied in vivo in leukemia-bearing nude mouse models. Results In this study, we investigated the antileukemia effects of HDAC inhibitor chidamide and its combinatorial activity with cytotoxic agent adriamycin in AML cells. We demonstrated that chidamide suppressed the levels of EZH2, H3K27me3 and DNMT3A, exerted potential antileukemia activity and increased the sensitivity to adriamycin through disruption of Smo/Gli-1 pathway and downstream signaling target p-AKT in AML cells and stem/progenitor cells. In addition to decreasing the levels of H3K27me3 and DNMT3A, inhibition of EZH2 either pharmacologically by chidamide or genetically by shEZH2 suppressed the activity of Smo/Gli-1 pathway and increased the antileukemia activity of adriamycin against AML in vitro and in vivo. Conclusions Inhibition of EZH2 by chidamide has antileukemia activity and increases the chemosensitivity to adriamycin through Smo/Gli-1 pathway in AML cells (Fig. 5). These findings support the rational combination of HDAC inhibitors and chemotherapy for the treatment of AML. Abstract
Prophylactic donor lymphocyte infusion (pDLI) could reduce relapse in patients with refractory/relapsed acute leukemia (RRAL) undergoing allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT), but optimal timing of pDLI remains uncertain. We compared the outcomes of two strategies for pDLI based on time from transplant and minimal residual disease (MRD) status in patients with RRAL. For patients without grade II–IV acute graft-versus-host disease (aGVHD) on day +60, pDLI was given on day +60 regardless of MRD in cohort 1, and was given on day +90 unless MRD was positive on day +60 in cohort 2. A total of 161 patients with RRAL were enrolled, including 83 in cohort 1 and 78 in cohort 2. The extensive chronic GVHD (cGVHD) incidence in cohort 2 was lower than that in cohort 1 (10.3% vs. 27.9%, P = 0.006) and GVHD-free/relapse-free survival (GRFS) in cohort 2 was superior to that in cohort 1 (55.1% vs. 41.0%, P = 0.042). The 2-year relapse rate, overall and leukemia-free survival were comparable between the two cohorts (29.0% vs. 28.2%, P = 0.986; 63.9% vs. 64.1%, P = 0.863; 57.8% vs. 61.5%, P = 0.666). Delaying pDLI to day +90 based on MRD for patients with RRAL undergoing allo-HSCT could lower extensive cGVHD incidence and improve GRFS without increasing incidence of leukemia relapse compared with pDLI on day +60.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has emerged as a major global health threat with a great number of deaths worldwide. Acute kidney injury (AKI) is a common complication in patients admitted to the intensive care unit. We aimed to assess the incidence, risk factors and in-hospital outcomes of AKI in COVID-19 patients admitted to the intensive care unit. METHODS We conducted a retrospective observational study in the intensive care unit of Tongji Hospital, which was assigned responsibility for the treatments of severe COVID-19 patients by the Wuhan government. AKI was defined and staged based on Kidney Disease: Improving Global Outcomes (KDIGO) criteria. Mild AKI was defined as stage 1, and severe AKI was defined as stage 2 or stage 3. Logistic regression analysis was used to evaluate AKI risk factors, and Cox proportional hazards model was used to assess the association between AKI and in-hospital mortality. RESULTS A total of 119 patients with COVID-19 were included in our study. The median patient age was 70 years (interquartile range, 59-77) and 61.3% were male. Fifty-one (42.8%) patients developed AKI during hospitalization, corresponding to 14.3% in stage 1, 28.6% in stage 2 and 18.5% in stage 3, respectively. Compared to patients without AKI, patients with AKI had a higher proportion of mechanical ventilation mortality and higher in-hospital mortality. A total of 97.1% of patients with severe AKI received mechanical ventilation and in-hospital mortality was up to 79.4%. Severe AKI was independently associated with high in-hospital mortality (OR: 1.82; 95% CI: 1.06-3.13). Logistic regression analysis demonstrated that high serum interleukin-8 (OR: 4.21; 95% CI: 1.23-14.38), interleukin-10 (OR: 3.32; 95% CI: 1.04-10.59) and interleukin-2 receptor (OR: 4.50; 95% CI: 0.73-6.78) were risk factors for severe AKI development. CONCLUSIONS Severe AKI was associated with high in-hospital mortality, and inflammatory response may play a role in AKI development in critically ill patients with COVID-19.

Abstract
A patient with cystic echinococcosis was presented with primary lesions in the waist and hip. The case was misdiagnosed as subcutaneous abscess at initial diagnosis, and then definitively diagnosed as echinococcosis by means of imaging examinations and anti-Echinococcus antibody test. This case was reported with aims to improve the awareness of cystic echinococcosis among clinical physicians to avoid and reduce the misdiagnosis and missing diagnosis.

Abstract
A series of novel phenazine derivatives (1~27) containing the Michael acceptor scaffolds were designed and synthesized in this study. Some compounds exhibited selective cytotoxicity against Bel-7402 cancer cell line in vitro, in which compound 26 were found to have the best antiproliferative activity. Meanwhile, compound 26 showed no obvious cell toxicity against human normal liver epithelial L02 cells, which means this compound possessed a better safety potential. In the following research, compound 26 was verified to inhibit TrxR1 enzyme activity, ultimately resulting in cellular molecular mechanism events of apoptosis including growth of intracellular ROS level, depletion of reduced Trx1, liberation of ASK1 and up-regulation of p38, respectively. Together, all these evidences implicated that compound 26 acted as the TrxR1 inhibitor against Bel-7402 cells, and could activate apoptosis through the ROS-Trx-ASK1-p38 pathway.
