Multiple sebaceous gland tumours, with multiple tumours of internal organs. A new syndrome?

The authors present a case of multiple sebaceous tumours and kerato acanthomata of the skin in a man who in a period of 21 years was also treated twice for a carcinoma of the colon and once for a carcinoma of the stomach. In the literature only two comparable cases have been found. It is suggested that these three cases represent examples of a rare syndrome.

Tuberous sclerosis and cardiac arrhythmia in three Zulu patients

Cardiac arrhythmias, in the form of multiple atrial or ventricular extrasystoles together with various types of conduction defect, occurred in three Zulu patients with tuberous sclerosis. Probably this association occurs more often than has been suspected.
