Abstract
Lateral Meningocele or Lehman Syndrome (LMS) is associated with NOTCH3 mutations causing deletions of the PEST domain and a gain-of-NOTCH3 function. We demonstrated that Notch3em1Ecan mice harboring Notch3 mutations analogous to those found in LMS are osteopenic because of enhanced bone resorption. To determine the contribution of specific cell lineages to the phenotype, we created a conditional-by-inversion (Notch3COIN) model termed Notch3em2Ecan in which Cre recombination generates a Notch3INV allele expressing a NOTCH3 mutant lacking the PEST domain. Germ line Notch3COIN inversion caused osteopenia and phenocopied the Notch3em1Ecan mutant, validating the model. To induce the mutation in osteocytes, smooth muscle and endothelial cells, Notch3COIN mice were bred with mice expressing Cre from the Dmp1, Sm22a and Cdh5 promoters, respectively, creating experimental mice harboring Notch3INV alleles in Cre-expressing cells and control littermates harboring Notch3COIN alleles. Notch3COIN inversion in osteocytes led to femoral and vertebral cancellous bone osteopenia, whereas Notch3COIN inversion in mural Sm22a or endothelial Cdh5-expressing cells did not result in a skeletal phenotype. In conclusion, introduction of the LMS mutation in osteocytes but not in vascular cells causes osteopenia and phenocopies Notch3em1Ecan global mutant mice.

Abstract
Objective: To examine the clinical efficacy of 3 anti-reflux methods of digestive tract reconstruction after proximal gastrectomy for gastric cancer. Methods: The clinical data and follow-up data of gastric cancer patients who underwent anti-reflux reconstruction after proximal gastrectomy in 11 medical centers of China from September 2016 to August 2021 were retrospectively collected, including 273 males and 65 females, aging of (63±10) years (range: 28 to 91 years). Among them, 159 cases were performed with gastric tube anastomosis (GTA), 107 cases with double tract reconstruction (DTR), and 72 cases with double-flap technique (DFT), respectively. The duration of operation, length of postoperative hospital stay and early postoperative complications (referring to Clavien-Dindo classification) of different anti-reflux reconstruction methods were assessed. Body mass index, hemoglobin and albumin were used to reflect postoperative nutritional status. Reflux esophagitis was graded according to Los Angeles criteria based on the routinely gastroscopy within 12 months after surgery. The postoperative quality of life (QoL) was evaluated by Visick score system. The ANOVA analysis, Kruskal-Wallis rank sum test, χ2 test and Fisher's exact test were used for comparison between multiple groups, and further comparison among groups were performed with LSD, Tamhane's test or Bonferroni corrected χ2 test. The mixed effect model was used to compare the trends of Body mass index, hemoglobin and albumin over time among different groups. Results: The operation time of DFT was significantly longer than that of GTA and DTR ((352±63) minutes vs. (221±66) minutes, (352±63) minutes vs. (234±61) minutes, both P<0.01). The incidence of early complications with Clavien-Dindo grade Ⅱ to Ⅴ in GTA, DFT and DTR groups was 17.0% (27/159), 9.7% (7/72) and 10.3% (11/107), respectively, without significant difference among these three groups (χ2=3.51, P=0.173). Body mass index decreased more significantly in GTA than DFT group at 6 and 12 months after surgery (mean difference=1.721 kg/m2, P<0.01; mean difference=2.429 kg/m2, P<0.01). body mass index decreased significantly in DTR compared with DFT at 12 months after surgery (mean difference=1.319 kg/m2, P=0.027). There was no significant difference in hemoglobin or albumin fluctuation between different reconstruction methods perioperative. The incidence of reflux esophagitis one year after surgery in DTR group was 12.9% (4/31), which was lower than that in DFT (45.9% (17/37), χ2=8.63, P=0.003). Follow-up of postoperative quality of life showed the incidence of Visick grade 2 to 4 in DFT group was lower than that in GTA group (10.4% (7/67) vs. 34.6% (27/78), χ2=11.70, P=0.018), while there was no significant difference between DFT and DTR group (10.4% (7/67) vs. 22.2% (8/36, P>0.05). Conclusions: Compared with GTA and DTR, DFT is more time-consuming, but there is no significant difference in early complications among three methods. DFT reconstruction is more conducive to maintain postoperative nutritional status and improve QoL, especially compared with GTA. The risk of reflux esophagitis after DTR reconstruction is lower than that of DFT.

Abstract
The first study of the angular distribution of μ^{+}μ^{-} pairs produced in the forward rapidity region via the Drell-Yan reaction pp→γ^{*}/Z+X→ℓ^{+}ℓ^{-}+X is presented, using data collected with the LHCb detector at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5.1 fb^{-1}. The coefficients of the five leading terms in the angular distribution are determined as a function of the dimuon transverse momentum and rapidity. The results are compared to various theoretical predictions of the Z-boson production mechanism and can also be used to probe transverse-momentum-dependent parton distributions within the proton.

Abstract
Artificial intelligence (AI) is one of the most rapidly evolving fields in biomedicine during the past decade. Represented by radiomics, machine learning and deep neural network, AI has been increasingly favored by researchers due to its ability to obtain feature information and discover the potential relationship between data and medical outcomes from high-throughput medical data. The incidence and mortality of gastric cancer (GC) has remained high in China. Through combining AI technology with medical examination such as endoscopy, imaging, pathological examination and sequencing, clinical researchers have made great progress in the auxiliary diagnosis, disease staging, prognosis and curative effect prediction of patients with GC. Although the intervention of AI in the medical industry has greatly improved the effective utilization of high-throughput data and accelerated the intelligent process of disease diagnosis and treatment, a number of problems has been raised in medical ethics, patient privacy and the legal status of medical AI at the same time. In the future, rational planning and management of AI technology will provide a strong impetus to promote the development of medicine and reshape the medical industry.

Abstract
Objective: To analyze the clinical characteristics of neonatal tracheotomy in neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). Methods: This single-center retrospective study included 14 neonates admitted to NICU of Beijing Children's Hospital, Capital Medical University from January 2016 to August 2021, and were<28 days of age on admission, who met the criteria of tracheotomy and finally completed the procedure. The clinical characteristics including age, weight, duration of ventilation, etiology of tracheotomy, length of hospital stay and prognosis were summarized and analyzed. Wilcoxon signed-rank test was used to compare the weight gain velocity and the duration of ventilation before and after tracheotomy. Paired t-test was used to compare the hospitalization length before and after tracheotomy. Spearman correlation was used to analyze the correlation between the clinical characteristics and outcomes. Results: For the 14 neonates, the gestational age was (38±4) weeks and birth weight was (2 824±949) g. Nine of them were male. The age on transportation was 16 (6, 25) d. A total of 10 neonates were on invasive ventilation on admission, the other 4 were on nasal continuous positive airway pressure support. Bilateral vocal cord paralysis (7 cases) was the commonest cause of tracheotomy. The age on operation was 33 (22, 44) d. There were statistically significant differences in duration of ventilation and weight gain velocity before and after operation (19.00 (10.50, 34.00) vs. 0.86 (0.06, 3.25) d, 1.66 (-0.16, 5.54) vs. 4.69 (2.30, 9.32) g/(kg·d), Z=3.01 and -1.98, both P<0.05). The total hospital stay in NICU was (37±12) d. One neonate died during hospitalization. The existence of pneumonia on admission was positively correlated to NICU stay length (r=0.57, P=0.027), the pre-operational weight gain velocity was negatively correlated to the post-operational NICU stay length (r=-0.73, P=0.020). There were 4 neonates de-cannulated during 7-38 months after the tracheotomy, and 5 neonates still wearing the tracheal cannulation during 15-66 months after the tracheotomy. Two neonates died and 2 neonates lost follow-up after discharge. All neonates could not vocalize normally before de-cannulation, and the language development obviously lagged behind the normal age group after de-cannulation. Conclusions: Bilateral vocal cord paralysis is the commonest cause of neonatal tracheotomy. The benefit of tracheotomy for NICU neonates with surgical indications is obvious, especially in facilitating extubation and improving weight gain.

Abstract
PURPOSE Nuclear factor of activated T cells (NFATc) are transcription factors that play a function in the immune response and in osteoclast differentiation. In the present work, we define the function of NFATc2 in chondrogenic and osteogenic cells. METHODS Nfatc2loxP/loxP and Nfatc1loxP/loxP;Nfatc2loxP/loxP conditional mice were crossed with Prx1-Cre transgenics to inactivate Nfatc2 singly and with Nfatc1. Femurs and vertebrae were examined by microcomputed tomography (µCT) X-Ray images and histology and analyzed for the presence of osteochondromas. RESULTS µCT demonstrated that Prx1-Cre;Nfatc2∆/∆ female mice had transient osteopenia and male mice did not have a cancellous or a cortical bone phenotype when compared to control mice. In contrast, the dual inactivation of Nfatc1 and Nfatc2 in Prx1-expressing cells resulted in cancellous osteopenia and small bones at 1 month of age in both sexes. Nfatc1;Nfatc2 deleted mice exhibited a ~ 50% decrease in bone volume and connectivity. Total bone area, periosteal and endocortical bone perimeters and femoral length were reduced indicating smaller bones. As the mice matured, the shortening of the femoral length persisted, but the osteopenic phenotype resolved and cancellous femoral bone of 4-month-old Nfatc1;Nfatc2 deleted mice was not different from controls although male mice had vertebral osteopenia. In addition, Nfatc1;Nfatc2 deleted mice displayed distortion of the distal metaphysis and, as they matured, the articular presence of mineralized tumors with the appearance of osteochondromas. CONCLUSION Our studies reveal that NFATc1 and NFATc2 are necessary for optimal bone homeostasis and the suppression of osteochondroma formation.

Abstract
Environmental endocrine disruptors (EDCs) are ubiquitous in the environment, and detectable amounts are found in humans worldwide. EDCs can interact with nuclear receptors such as estrogen receptor, which could interfere with the normal function of endocrine system, and further cause the pathological alterations in the tissues. This article summarizes several common types of EDCs in the environment, which caused cardiac function abnormalities, and morphological growth malformations in heart as well as its relevant mechanisms, including oxidative stress, inflammatory response, changes in signal transduction, expressions of transcriptional regulatory factors, which are related to cardiac development, receptor pathways and cell apoptosis etc., for the purpose of understanding the process of EDCs-induced cardiac developmental toxicity, and further providing scientific theoretical basis for figuring out the toxicity mechanism of EDCs and the prevention and treatment of cardiac diseases.

Abstract
DUNE is a dual-site experiment for long-baseline neutrino oscillation studies, neutrino astrophysics and nucleon decay searches. ProtoDUNE Dual Phase (DP) is a 6 × 6 × 6 m 3 liquid argon time-projection-chamber (LArTPC) that recorded cosmic-muon data at the CERN Neutrino Platform in 2019-2020 as a prototype of the DUNE Far Detector. Charged particles propagating through the LArTPC produce ionization and scintillation light. The scintillation light signal in these detectors can provide the trigger for non-beam events. In addition, it adds precise timing capabilities and improves the calorimetry measurements. In ProtoDUNE-DP, scintillation and electroluminescence light produced by cosmic muons in the LArTPC is collected by photomultiplier tubes placed up to 7 m away from the ionizing track. In this paper, the ProtoDUNE-DP photon detection system performance is evaluated with a particular focus on the different wavelength shifters, such as PEN and TPB, and the use of Xe-doped LAr, considering its future use in giant LArTPCs. The scintillation light production and propagation processes are analyzed and a comparison of simulation to data is performed, improving understanding of the liquid argon properties.

Abstract
Quantum chromodynamics, the theory of the strong force, describes interactions of coloured quarks and gluons and the formation of hadronic matter. Conventional hadronic matter consists of baryons and mesons made of three quarks and quark-antiquark pairs, respectively. Particles with an alternative quark content are known as exotic states. Here a study is reported of an exotic narrow state in the D0D0π+ mass spectrum just below the D*+D0 mass threshold produced in proton-proton collisions collected with the LHCb detector at the Large Hadron Collider. The state is consistent with the ground isoscalar [Formula: see text] tetraquark with a quark content of [Formula: see text] and spin-parity quantum numbers JP = 1+. Study of the DD mass spectra disfavours interpretation of the resonance as the isovector state. The decay structure via intermediate off-shell D*+ mesons is consistent with the observed D0π+ mass distribution. To analyse the mass of the resonance and its coupling to the D*D system, a dedicated model is developed under the assumption of an isoscalar axial-vector [Formula: see text] state decaying to the D*D channel. Using this model, resonance parameters including the pole position, scattering length, effective range and compositeness are determined to reveal important information about the nature of the [Formula: see text] state. In addition, an unexpected dependence of the production rate on track multiplicity is observed.

Abstract
The first full angular analysis and an updated measurement of the decay-rate CP asymmetry of the D^{0}→π^{+}π^{-}μ^{+}μ^{-} and D^{0}→K^{+}K^{-}μ^{+}μ^{-} decays are reported. The analysis uses proton-proton collision data collected with the LHCb detector at center-of-mass energies of 7, 8, and 13 TeV. The dataset corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 9 fb^{-1}. The full set of CP -averaged angular observables and their CP asymmetries are measured as a function of the dimuon invariant mass. The results are consistent with expectations from the standard model and with CP symmetry.

Abstract
BackgroundGuselkumab (GUS) demonstrated efficacy and a favorable safety profile in active PsA in the Phase (Ph) 21 and Ph3 DISCOVER-1&2 trials2,3 and in moderate-to-severe plaque psoriasis (PsO) in the Ph3 VOYAGE-1&2 trials.4,5ObjectivesTo assess long-term safety of GUS across PsA/PsO trials.MethodsUsing pooled safety data through 2 years (yrs) from PsA trials (N=1229; GUS 100 mg every 4/8 weeks [Q4W/Q8W])1-3 and through 5 yrs from PsO trials (N=1721; GUS 100 mg Q8W),4,5 incidences of serious adverse events (SAEs); gastrointestinal (GI)-related SAEs and other targeted AEs; including candidiasis, uveitis, and opportunistic infections (OIs) were evaluated. Incidence rates (IRs) were calculated as the number of events per 100 pt-yrs (PY) of follow-up with 95% CI. Patients (pts) with an IBD history were not excluded in PsA/PsO trials. Max exposure duration was W100 for PsA trials and W252 for PsO trials.ResultsThe PsA and PsO populations had comparable mean age and BMI. IRs of SAEs and GI-related SAEs were generally similar between GUS- and PBO-treated pts during PBO-controlled periods, and between PsA pts receiving GUS Q4W/Q8W for up to 2 yrs and PsO pts receiving GUS Q8W for up to 5 yrs (Table 1). IRs of other targeted AEs of interest were low. OIs did not occur in PsO pts and were infrequent in PsA pts (Table 1). Candidal infections were infrequent and non-serious. Iridocyclitis was reported in 1 PBO- and 1 GUS Q8W-treated PsA pt. No exacerbations or new onset of IBD or active tuberculosis was reported in GUS-treated PsA/PsO pts.Table 1.Targeted AEs of InterestPooled PsA*Pooled PsOThrough 2 YrsThrough 5 YrsGUS 100 mg Q4W (N=373)GUS 100 mg Q8W (N=475)PBO→GUS 100 mg Q4W (N=352)aPBO→GUS 100 mg Q8W (N=29)aGUS Combined (N=1229)GUS 100 mg Q8W (N=1221)bADA→GUS 100 mg Q8W (N=500)cGUS Combined (N=1721)Total PY645748461171871525419127166Mean PY1.71.61.30.61.54.33.84.2Events/100 PY (95% CI)Overall SAEs4.65(3.14, 6.64)6.42(4.73, 8.51)5.86(3.86, 8.52)0.00(0.00, 17.24)5.61(4.59, 6.79)5.18(4.58, 5.83)4.55(3.64, 5.61)5.01(4.50, 5.56)GI-related SAEs0.46(0.10, 1.36)0.27(0.03, 0.97)0.00 (0.00, 0.65)0.00(0.00, 17.24)0.27(0.09, 0.62)0.44(0.28, 0.66)0.42(0.18, 0.82)0.43(0.29, 0.61)OIsd0.00(0.00, 0.46)0.27(0.03, 0.97)0.22(0.01, 1.21)0.00(0.00, 17.24)0.16(0.03, 0.47)0.00(0.00, 0.06)0.00(0.00, 0.16)0.00(0.00, 0.04)Candida infections0.31(0.04, 1.12)0.00(0.00, 0.40)0.00(0.00, 0.65)0.00(0.00, 17.24)0.11(0.01, 0.39)0.49(0.32, 0.73)0.52(0.25, 0.96)0.50(0.35, 0.70)Non-pathogen specific fungal infections, suspicious for candida0.00(0.00, 0.46)0.27(0.03, 0.97)0.00(0.00, 0.65)0.00(0.00, 17.24)0.11(0.01, 0.39)0.11(0.04, 0.25)0.16(0.03, 0.46)0.13(0.06, 0.24)Uveitis/ Iridocyclitis0.00(0.00, 0.46)0.13(0.00, 0.75)0.00(0.00, 0.65)0.00(0.00, 17.24)0.05(0.00, 0.30)0.00(0.00, 0.06)0.00(0.00, 0.16)0.00(0.00, 0.04)*In PsA Ph2, data after early escape at W16 were excluded. Abstract
The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of dietary paddy rice on growth performance, carcass traits, bare skin color, and nutrient digestibility in geese. A total of 300 twenty-eight-day-old male goslings were randomly divided into 5 treatment groups with 6 pens containing 10 goslings each. The geese were raised for 42 d on feed with 0% (control), 13, 26, 39, or 52% dietary paddy rice inclusion. Body weight and feed intake per pen were recorded from the arrival of goslings to the end of the trial. On d 70, two goslings were selected from each pen, one of which was used to measure slaughter performance, meat quality, meat proximate composition, and bare skin color, and one was used to determine nutrient utilization. The results showed that goslings fed a diet containing 26, 39, and 52% paddy rice had a higher final body weight, average daily feed intake, and average daily gain than those in the control group (P < 0.05). The abdominal fat yield in dietary paddy rice groups was higher than that of the control group (P < 0.05). There were no effects on the moisture, protein, and fat contents of breast and thigh muscle among the five treatments (P > 0.05). Compared to the control group, the breast muscle of geese fed the paddy rice had a lower L* value and a higher a* value (P < 0.05). Dietary paddy rice decreased the bill score of geese (P < 0.05). Geese in the paddy rice groups exhibited higher total starch digestibility than geese in the control group (P < 0.05). The digestibility of energy, crude protein, crude fat, crude fiber, NDF, and ADF did not differ between groups (P > 0.05). In conclusion, paddy rice is an excellent energy source in geese diets and could improve the growth performance, breast muscle color, and utilization of total starch but increase the abdominal fat yield and decrease the bill color of geese.

Abstract
BackgroundGuselkumab (GUS), a selective IL-23p19 subunit inhibitor, demonstrated efficacy and a favorable safety profile in active psoriatic arthritis (PsA) in the Phase (Ph)21, Ph3 (DISCOVER [D]-1&2)2,3, and Ph3b COSMOS4 randomized controlled trials (RCTs).ObjectivesAssess GUS safety through 2 years (Y) in biologic (bio)-naïve and tumor necrosis factor inhibitor (TNFi)-experienced (exp) active PsA patients (pts) pooled across 4 RCTs (Week [W] 56: Ph2 and COSMOS; W60: D1; W112: D2).MethodsEligible pts in COSMOS had inadequate response to 1 or 2 prior TNFi; 9% of Ph2 pts and 30% of D1 pts had 1 or 2 prior TNFi; D2 pts were bio-naïve. Incidence rates of adverse events (AEs) are summarized among all treated pts for the placebo (PBO)-controlled (W0-24) and active treatment periods through 2Y (max duration of exposure 100 W) according to actual treatment received, calculated as the number of events per 100 pt-Y of follow-up (PY), along with 95% confidence intervals (CI). Gastrointestinal (GI)-related serious AEs (SAEs) were identified using the Medical Dictionary for Regulatory Activities (MedDRA) system-organ class; major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE; predefined as MI, Stroke, or CV death) and opportunistic infections (OIs) were identified through medical review.ResultsAcross the 4 RCTs, 1508 pts with active PsA received GUS 100 mg every 4 weeks (Q4W) or Q8W and were followed for a median of 1.2 Y, representing 2125 PY. In the overall population (N=1554), which includes PBO-treated pts that discontinued study agent prior to W24, 1138 pts were bio-naïve and 416 pts were TNFi-exp. Among all treated pts, the overall GUS safety profile was generally consistent with that of PBO through W24; rates remained low through 2Y of GUS (Table 1). The GUS safety profile was similar to that observed with PBO within the bio-naïve and TNFi-exp cohorts through W24. Incidence rates of AEs were generally consistent between cohorts in GUS-treated pts; whereas, TNFi-exp PBO-treated pts had more SAEs, study agent d/c due to AEs, and serious infections than bio-naïve PBO pts (Figure).Table 1.Overall Treatment-emergent AEsPBO-controlled (W0-24)aThrough up to 2YPBOb(N=517)GUS Q8W (N=664)GUS Q4W (N=373)Combined GUS (N=1037)GUS Q8W (N=664)GUS Q4W (N=373)Combined GUSc(N=1508)Total (median) PY230 (0.5)305 (0.5)172 (0.5)478 (0.5)941 (1.1)645 (2.1)2125 (1.2)Events/100 PY (95% CI)AEs223 (204, 243)233 (216, 250)223 (201, 246)229 (216, 243)164 (156, 172)139 (130, 148)146 (141, 151)SAEs8.7 (5.3, 13)4.9 (2.8, 8.1)5.2 (2.4, 9.9)5.0 (3.2, 7.5)6.4 (4.9, 8.2)4.7 (3.1, 6.6)5.7 (4.7, 6.8)AEs leading to study agent d/c4.4 (2.1, 8.0)3.6 (1.8, 6.5)7.0 (3.6, 12.2)4.8 (3.1, 7.2)2.6 (1.6, 3.8)2.9 (1.8, 4.6)2.7 (2.1, 3.5)Infections59 (50, 70)56 (48, 65)57 (47, 70)57 (50, 64)43 (38, 47)37 (33, 42)39 (36, 42)Serious Infections2.2 (0.71, 5.1)0.33 (0.01, 1.8)1.7 (0.36, 5.1)0.84 (0.23, 2.1)1.7 (0.97, 2.8)0.77 (0.25, 1.8)1.5 (1.0, 2.1)Malignancy0.44 (0.01, 2.4)0.98 (0.20, 2.9)0.00 (0.00, 1.7)0.63 (0.13, 1.8)0.42 (0.12, 1.1)0.00 (0.00, 0.46)0.28 (0.10, 0.61)MACE0.44 (0.01, 2.4)0.33 (0.01, 1.8)0.58 (0.01, 3.2)0.42 (0.05, 1.5)0.21 (0.03, 0.77)0.46 (0.10, 1.4)0.24 (0.08, 0.55)GI-related SAEs1.3 (0.27, 3.8)0.33 (0.01, 1.8)0.00 (0.00, 1.7)0.21 (0.01, 1.2)0.32 (0.07, 0.93)0.46 (0.10, 1.4)0.28 (0.10, 0.61)OIs0.00 (0.00, 1.3)0.00 (0.00, 0.98)0.00 (0.00, 1.7)0.00 (0.00, 0.63)0.21 (0.03, 0.77)0.00 (0.00, 0.46)0.14 (0.03, 0.41)MedDRA Version 23.1.a Includes safety follow-up data through 2Y for pts who d/c study agent prior to W24 and did not receive any study agent at or after W24.b Includes data prior to GUS in PBO pts who switched from PBO to GUS.c Includes PBO to GUS cross-over at W24.ConclusionThe favorable GUS safety profile demonstrated through W24 persisted through 2Y across bio-naïve and TNFi-exp pts.References[1]Deodhar A, et al. Abstract
The nutritional components of fermented soybean meal (FSBM) vary because of the complex process of microbial fermentation. The objective of this study was to investigate the nutritional value of FSBM from two sources and explore the mode of actions of FSBM on the improvement of nutrient digestibility with the measurements of digestive enzymes and serum biomarkers. Eight weaned barrows (initial BW: 14.12 ± 0.24 kg) equipped with T-cannula in the distal ileum were allotted to a duplicated 4 × 4 Latin-square design with four experimental diets and four periods. Four experimental diets included a soybean meal control diet, two FSBM diets, and a nitrogen-free diet. The two sources of FSBM increased the contents of CP, amino acid and lactic acid, while decreased the levels of anti-nutritional factors, including glycinin, β-conglycinin and trypsin inhibitors. Compared to soybean meal control diet, both FSBM diets significantly increased the apparent and standardised ileal digestibility of CP and amino acids (P < 0.05), increased the activities of lipase, maltase and invertase in digesta (P < 0.05), increased total antioxidant capacity, activities of glutathione peroxidase and superoxide dismutase, the levels of interleukin-4, IgA, IgG and IgM in serum (P < 0.05), while decreased the levels of diamine oxidase, malondialdehyde, interleukin-6, and interleukin-2 in serum (P < 0.05). Additionally, the standardised ileal digestibility of amino acids were highly correlated with the aforementioned digestive enzymes and health-related serum biomarkers. In summary, FSBM diets showed an improved nutritional value evidenced by the higher nutrient digestibility, which may be partially derived from its beneficial effects on intestinal integrity, anti-oxidative capacity and immune function.

Abstract
Objective: To compare the safety and effectiveness of esophagojejunostomy (EJS) through extracorporeal and intracorporeal methods after laparoscopic total gastrectomy (LTG). Methods: A retrospective cohort study was carried out. Clinicopathological data of 261 gastric cancer patients who underwent LTG, D2 lymphadenectomy, and Roux-en-Y EJS with complete postoperative 6-month follow-up data at the General Surgery Department of Nanfang Hospital from October 2018 to June 2021 were collected. Among these 261 patients, 139 underwent EJS with a circular stapler via mini-laparotomy (extracorporeal group), while 122 underwent intracorporeal EJS (intracorporeal group), including 43 with OrVil(TM) anastomosis (OrVil(TM) subgroup) and 79 with Overlap anastomosis (Overlap subgroup). Compared with the extracorporeal group, the intracorporeal group had higher body mass index, smaller tumor size, earlier T stage and M stage (all P<0.05). Compared with the Overlap subgroup, the Orvil(TM) subgroup had higher proportions of upper gastrointestinal obstruction and esophagus involvement, and more advanced T stage (all P<0.05). No other significant differences in the baseline data were found (all P>0.05). The primary outcome was complications at postoperative 6-month. The secondary outcomes were operative status, intraoperative complication and postoperative recovery. Continuous variables with a skewed distribution are expressed as the median (interquartile range), and were compared using Mann-Whitney U test. Categorical variables are expressed as the number and percentage and were compared with the Pearson chi-square, continuity correction or Fisher's exact test. Results: Compared with the extracorporeal group, the intracorporeal group had smaller incision [5.0 (1.0) cm vs. 8.0 (1.0) cm, Z=-10.931, P=0.001], lower rate of combined organ resection [0.8% (1/122) vs. 7.9% (11/139), χ(2)=7.454, P=0.006] and higher rate of R0 resection [94.3% (115/122) vs. 84.9 (118/139), χ(2)=5.957, P=0.015]. The morbidity of intraoperative complication in the extracorporeal group and intracorporeal group was 2.9% (4/139) and 4.1% (5/122), respectively (χ(2)=0.040, P=0.842). In terms of postoperative recovery, the extracorporeal group had shorter time to liquid diet [(5.1±2.4) days vs. (5.9±3.6) days, t=-2.268, P=0.024] and soft diet [(7.3±3.7) days vs. (8.8±6.5) days, t=-2.227, P=0.027], and shorter postoperative hospital stay [(10.5±5.1) days vs. (12.2±7.7) days, t=-2.108, P=0.036]. The morbidity of postoperative complication within 6 months in the extracorporeal group and intracorporeal group was 25.9% (36/139) and 31.1%, (38/122) respectively (P=0.348). Furthermore, there was also no significant difference in the morbidity of postoperative EJS complications [extracorporeal group vs. intracorporeal group: 5.0% (7/139) vs. 82.% (10/122), P=0.302]. The severity of postoperative complications between the two groups was not statistically significant (P=0.289). In the intracorporeal group, the Orvil(TM) subgroup had more estimated blood loss [100.0 (100.0) ml vs.50.0 (50.0) ml, Z=-2.992, P=0.003] and larger incision [6.0 (1.0) cm vs. 5.0 (1.0) cm, Z=-3.428, P=0.001] than the Overlap subgroup, seemed to have higher morbidity of intraoperative complication [7.0% (3/43) vs. 2.5% (2/79),P=0.480] and postoperative complications [37.2% (16/43) vs. 27.8% (22/79), P=0.286], and more severe classification of complication (P=0.289). Conclusions: The intracorporeal EJS after LTG has similar safety to extracorporeal EJS. As for intracorporeal EJS, the Overlap method is safer and has more potential advantages than Orvil(TM) method, and is worthy of further exploration and optimization.

Abstract
Objective: To analyze whether there are differences and related influencing factors in liver injury associated with different strains of 2019-nCoV/SARS-CoV-2 infection. Methods: Data of epidemiology, clinical symptoms, laboratory tests, and treatment outcomes of patients with COVID-19 infection confirmed with Alpha and Delta virus strain in Zhejiang Province were retrospectively collected. Statistical analysis was performed using independent samples t-test or Mann-Whitney U test, χ2 test or Fisher's exact test, and logistic regression analysis. Results: A total of 788 and 381 cases with Alpha and Delta virus strain were included. Vaccination ratio was 0% in Alpha and 85.30% in Delta group (P<0.001), The proportion of patients with fever (80.71% vs. 40.94%, P<0.001) was significantly higher in Alpha than Delta strain group. The proportion of critical ill patients was significantly higher in Delta group (9.90% vs. 1.57%, respectively, P<0.001). The virus negative conversion time was significantly longer in Delta than Alpha group (22 d vs. 11 d, P<0.001), but the incidence of liver injury was significantly higher in Alpha than Delta group (20.05% vs. 13.91%, P=0.011). Univariate analysis showed that Alpha virus strain infection, male sex, body mass index, chronic liver disease, fever, diarrhea, shortness of breath, severe/critical illness, elevated creatine kinase (CK), elevated international normalized ratio (INR) and an elevated neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio was significantly associated with an increased risk of liver injury occurrence, and in patients with pharyngeal pain the risk of liver injury occurrence was significantly reduced. Multivariate analysis showed that shortness of breath [OR, 2.667 (CI: 1.389-5.122); P=0.003], increased CK [OR, 2.544 (CI: 1.414-4.576); P=0.002] and increased INR [OR, 1.721] (CI: 1.074-2.758); P=0.024] was significantly associated with an increased risk of liver injury occurrence, and in patients with pharyngeal pain the risk of liver injury occurrence was significantly reduced [OR, 0.424 (CI: 0.254-0.709); P=0.001]. Conclusion: Although the virulence of the Delta is stronger than Alpha strain, most patients infected with Delta strain vaccinated against COVID-19 in Zhejiang province had milder clinical symptoms and a lower incidence and degree of liver injury. Notably, the infection risk even remains after vaccination; however, symptoms and the incidence of severe and critical illness can be significantly reduced.

Abstract
Tests of lepton universality in B^{0}→K_{S}^{0}ℓ^{+}ℓ^{-} and B^{+}→K^{*+}ℓ^{+}ℓ^{-} decays where ℓ is either an electron or a muon are presented. The differential branching fractions of B^{0}→K_{S}^{0}e^{+}e^{-} and B^{+}→K^{*+}e^{+}e^{-} decays are measured in intervals of the dilepton invariant mass squared. The measurements are performed using proton-proton collision data recorded by the LHCb experiment, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 9 fb^{-1} . The results are consistent with the standard model and previous tests of lepton universality in related decay modes. The first observation of B^{0}→K_{S}^{0}e^{+}e^{-} and B^{+}→K^{*+}e^{+}e^{-} decays is reported.

Observation of the Decay Λ_{b}^{0}→Λ_{c}^{+}τ^{-}ν[over ¯]_{τ}. PHYSICAL REVIEW LETTERS 2022; 128:191803. Abstract
The first observation of the semileptonic b-baryon decay Λ_{b}^{0}→Λ_{c}^{+}τ^{-}ν[over ¯]_{τ}, with a significance of 6.1σ, is reported using a data sample corresponding to 3 fb^{-1} of integrated luminosity, collected by the LHCb experiment at center-of-mass energies of 7 and 8 TeV at the LHC. The τ^{-} lepton is reconstructed in the hadronic decay to three charged pions. The ratio K=B(Λ_{b}^{0}→Λ_{c}^{+}τ^{-}ν[over ¯]_{τ})/B(Λ_{b}^{0}→Λ_{c}^{+}π^{-}π^{+}π^{-}) is measured to be 2.46±0.27±0.40, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic. The branching fraction B(Λ_{b}^{0}→Λ_{c}^{+}τ^{-}ν[over ¯]_{τ})=(1.50±0.16±0.25±0.23)% is obtained, where the third uncertainty is from the external branching fraction of the normalization channel Λ_{b}^{0}→Λ_{c}^{+}π^{-}π^{+}π^{-}. The ratio of semileptonic branching fractions R(Λ_{c}^{+})≡B(Λ_{b}^{0}→Λ_{c}^{+}τ^{-}ν[over ¯]_{τ})/B(Λ_{b}^{0}→Λ_{c}^{+}μ^{-}ν[over ¯]_{μ}) is derived to be 0.242±0.026±0.040±0.059, where the external branching fraction uncertainty from the channel Λ_{b}^{0}→Λ_{c}^{+}μ^{-}ν[over ¯]_{μ} contributes to the last term. This result is in agreement with the standard model prediction.

Abstract
We use single photon detectors to probe the motional state of a superfluid ^{4}He resonator of mass ∼1 ng. The arrival times of Stokes and anti-Stokes photons (scattered by the resonator's acoustic mode) are used to measure the resonator's phonon coherences up to the fourth order. By postselecting on photon detection events, we also measure coherences in the resonator when ≤3 phonons have been added or subtracted. These measurements are found to be consistent with predictions that assume the acoustic mode to be in thermal equilibrium with a bath through a Markovian coupling.
