Abstract
Trypsin-like and chymotrypsin-like esteroprotease isozymes of the mouse submandibular gland were separated by isoelectric focusing. In normal female mice the following pI-isozyme activities were found; pI-4.6, -5.6 (shoulder), -5.8, -7.1, and -9.9, hydrolytic activities for benzoylarginine ethylester (BAEE) (trypsin-like enzymes), and pI-4.7 and -10.3 hydrolytic activities for acetyltyrosine ethylester (ATEE) (chymotrypsin-like enzymes). In mice with testicular feminization (Tfm mice), only pI4.6 hydrolytic activity for BAEE was found; no ATEE hydrolytic activity was detected. In normal female mice, both 5 alpha-dihydrotestosterone (5 alpha-DHT) and tri-iodo-L-thyronine (T3) significantly increased all these isozymes except the pI-4.6 hydrolytic activity for BAEE. In Tfm mice, T3 also increased all these isozymes except the pI-4.6 hydrolytic activity for BAEE, but 5 alpha-DHT had no effect on any enzymes. These results suggest that the pI-4.6 hydrolytic activity for BAEE is non-inducible by the two hormones. Androgen does not seem to be involved in the inductions of these esteroproteases by T3.

Abstract
In order to know if it is possible to objectively decide the extent of infiltration of female genital malignant tumors into parametrium by using 111In-bleomycin scintigraphy, a fundamental and clinical investigation was made. The result was as follows; 1) The radiochemical purity and stability of 111In-BLM were comparatively unchangeable. When this complex was kept at room temperature for a week, there was not more than 2% of the free 111In. 2) As to blood clearance, when the blood radioactivity of 111In-BLM 5 minutes after the injection was counted as 100%, about 80% of the radioactivity was cleared from the blood in 48 hours. Over 50% of the radioactivity was excreted into the urine in 48 hours. 3) Of 29 cases of female genital malignant tumors, 23 cases (79%) showed positive images. Therefore 111In-BLM was found to be one of the suitable radiopharmaceuticals for the diagnosis of female genital malignant tumors. 4) 111In-BLM scintigraphy was of great use for deciding the extent of the invasion of carcinoma cervicis uteri into parametrium and for the search of metastasis.

Abstract
A study has been made of a simple and practical method to add the information of anatomical localization upon the emission scintiphoto of the generally used polaroid film. Our experients were a follows: first, the polaroid film of transmission scintiphoto, according to the Anger method, was made, and then, that of emission scintiphoto was made. Next, by double-exposing these two photos to the same polaroid film with the Mamiya-made duplicator, these photos were made into a composite photo. In that case, in order to distinguish the images of these scintiphotos on this composite photo. In that case, in order to distinguish the images of these scintiphotos on this composite photo, a colour polaroid film was used in the double exposure, and here, when each of the two scintiphotos was given its own colour-filter, it was found that the images could be sharply sorted by colour. This method does not require any highly expensive apparatuses and according to this method a disc source and a polaroid duplicator are enough for the exact anatomical localization of scintiphoto-images by the polaroid film.

Abstract
When the photoscintillo-roentgenography is used for relating the scintigram of internal organs to the anatomic structures, this method is found to have some defects--the difference of magnification between the emission scan and the roentgenogram, the inaccuracy due to the geometric distortion of the X-ray image, the impossibility of the simultaneous photographing of the scan and the X-rays, etc. Then, to diminish the influence of these defects we improved on the photographic recording system of a dual-heal scanner, and made use of the transmission scanning method. That is, we combined the recording parts, Ch1 and Ch2, into one system, using Ch1 for the light source of transmission scan and Ch2 for that of emission scan. In this way, we managed to make the two incident rays from those light sources converge into a focus upon a film. Thus we could perform a simultaneous emission-transmission scanning, by moving, at the same time in the same direction, the scanning detector over the patient and the small radioactive source (241Am) under him. This method can be applied to any radioactive nuclide to be used in transmission scanning and emission scanning. As the result of applying this method clinically in our department, the method has proved to be very useful for anatomic localization.
