Abstract
Objective: To summarize the status of immediate breast reconstruction (IBR) after mastectomy in Beijing City, Tianjin City and Hebei Province. Methods: A retrospective analysis was made on the data of 382 cases with breast cancer who were treated and followed up successfully with immediate breast reconstruction after mastectomy from January 2012 to December 2016 in Beijing City, Tianjin City and Hebei Province. Clinic data of the followed-up 382 cases (all female, age (38.5±4.2) years (range: 24 to 70 years)), including general information, tumor information, sugery methods, and treatments after surgery were collected. The survival status, metastasis, complications and prognosis were followed up. Cosmetic effcet was evalated by Harris method, and life quality by Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy-Breast scale (FACT-B). χ(2) test was used to compare the difference between year 2012 and year 2013 to 2016. Bonferroni method was used to correct the inspection level, which was 0.05/10=0.005. The trend of IBR rate (ratio of IBR to modified radical mastectomy) from 2013 to 2016 was analyzed by trend χ(2) test. Results: There was 46 cases in stage 0, 152 cases in stage Ⅰ, 165 cases in stage Ⅱ, 19 cases in stage Ⅲ. Twenty-five cases was treated by neoadjuvant chemotherapy, 231 by chemotherapy and 35 by radiotherapy. The proportion of implant reconstruction was 48.7% (186/382), more than expanded of 21.5% (82/382), with latissimus dorsi of 12.0% (46/382), TRAM of 8.9% (34/382), DIEP of 2.1% (8/382), and latissimus plus implant of 6.8% (26/382). According to the Harris standard, the excellent and good rate of the cosmetic effect of the reconstructed breast was 93.7%. The score of FACT-B was 108.20±16.9 (range: 67 to 144) 1 year postoperatively. Compared with 2012, the IBR rate was significant increased, till 2015, the IBR rate was 153/10 000 cases (χ(2)=47.028, P=0.000). Conclusions: There is a significant increase on IBR rate in Beijing City, Tianjin City and Hebei province by year. Most of cases received IBR is stage Ⅰ to Ⅱ. Implant reconstruction is the main reconstructive method. Postoperative cosmetic effects and quality of life are both meet patients' demon.

Abstract
Implanted pacemakers are usually bulky and rigid electronics that are constraint by limited battery lifetimes, and need to be installed and repaired via surgeries that risk secondary infection and injury. In this work, a flexible self-powered photoelectric cardiac stimulator is demonstrated based on hydrogenated amorphous Si (a-Si:H) radial p-i-n junctions (RJs), constructed upon standing Si nanowires grown directly on aluminum thin foils. The flexible RJ stimulators, with an open-circuit voltage of 0.67 V and short-circuit current density of 12.7 mA cm-2 under standard AM1.5G illumination, can be conformally attached to the uneven tissue surface to pace heart-beating under modulated 650 nm laser illumination. In vivo pacing evaluations on porcine hearts show that the heart rate can be effectively controlled by the external photoelectric stimulations, to increase from the normal rate of 101-128 beating min-1 . Importantly, the a-Si:H RJ units are highly biofriendly and biodegradable, with tunable lifetimes in phosphate-buffered saline environment controlled by surface coating and passivation, catering to the needs of short term or lasting cardiac pacing applications. This implantable a-Si:H RJ photoelectric stimulation strategy has the potential to establish eventually a self-powered, biocompatible, and conformable cardiac pacing technology for clinical therapy.

Abstract
The national health industry standard (WS/T 610-2018), 'the reference of screening for elevated blood pressure among children and adolescents aged 7-to 18-years-old', plays a significant role in the standardization of the blood pressure evaluation, the early detection of high blood pressure, and the early intervention of hypertension and other chronic non-communicable diseases among Chinese children and adolescents. This standard gives screening thresholds for blood pressure assessment of children and adolescents in different genders, ages, and heights. Given the complexity of applying this standard, it is error-prone and less efficient to evaluate blood pressure one by one or program this procedure. Therefore, this study provides a SPSS package based on the standard for researchers to download and use, combined with specific cases to guide the use of this package to evaluate the blood pressure of children and adolescents step by step, which could empower researchers to accurately and efficiently conduct blood pressure screening for children and adolescents in China.

Abstract
A variety of cardiac transcription factors/cofactors, signaling pathways, and downstream structural genes integrate to form the regulatory hierarchies to ensure proper cardiogenesis in vertebrate. Major interaction proteins of the transcription cofactor vestigial like family member 4 (VGLL4) include myocyte enhancer factor 2 (MEF2) and TEA domain transcription factors (TEAD), both of which play important roles in embryonic cardiac development and in adulthood. In this study, we identified that the deficiency of zebrafish vgll4b paralog, a unique family member expressed in developing heart, led to an impaired valve development. Mechanistically, in vgll4b mutant embryos the disruption of Vgll4b-Mef2c complex, rather than that of Vgll4b-Tead complex, resulted in an aberrant expression of krüppel-like factor 2a (klf2a) in endocardium. Such misexpression of klf2a eventually evoked the valvulogenesis defects. Our findings suggest that zebrafish Vgll4b plays an important role in modulating the transcription activity of Mef2c on klf2a during valve development in a blood-flow-independent manner.

Abstract
This article describes the design of a portable blood oxygen simulation system that can be used to simulate various blood gas saturation states of the human body. The system can be used to simulate various states of blood gas saturation, and can also simulate large blood oxygen saturation dynamic range, pulse rate range and perfusion index range. It can be used for testing, but not for clinical examination instruments. Moreover, the system has the characteristics of small size and low cost compared with the commercial blood oxygen simulator. Although the simulation system is not directly used for the detection of blood gas saturation of patients, it is also an essential equipment in the production and testing process, so it has certain practical value.

Abstract
Background:
Eucalyptus belongs to the Myrtaceae family. It is the most planted hardwood
forest crop worldwide, representing a global renewable resource of fiber, pharmaceuticals and energy.
Objective:
To compare the five species, E. maidenii, E. robusta, E. citriodora, E. tereticornis and
E. camaldulensis, seeking for the richest source of nutrients and pharmaceuticals.
Methodology:
Eucalyptus samples were subjected to some chemical determinations for both primary
and secondary metabolites to verify their nutritional and pharmaceutical importance related to different
extracts. GC-MS analysis was applied to detect the presence of some individual phenolic constituents
in their leaves.
Results:
E. robusta recorded the maximum contents of carbohydrates (40.07%) and protein (31.91%).
While E. camaldulensis contained the highest contents of total phenolic compounds (46.56 mg/g), tannins
(40.01 mg/g) and antioxidant activities assayed by the phosphomolybednum method (57.60
mg/g), followed by E. citridora. However, E. tereticornis exhibited the highest reducing power ability
(151.23 mg/g). The GC-MS highlighted 20 phenolic constituents and antioxidants which varied in their
abundance in Eucalyptus leaves, 8 individual phenolics (hydroquinone, hesperitin, pyrogallol, resorcinol,
protocatechuic acid, naringenin, chlorogenic acid and catechin) were maximally recorded with E.
camaldulensis and secondly, with E. citridora in case of at least 5 components. Nevertheless, gallic
and quinic acids were more abundant in the leaves of E. tereticornis, which may explain its high corresponding
reducing powers.
Conclusion:
Acetone-water combination has enhanced phenolics extraction from Eucalyptus tissues.
This is the first report aiming to compare between the aforementioned Eucalyptus species highlighting
either their nutritional or medicinal importance.

Abstract
The development of colorectal cancer is a complex and multistep process mediated by a variety of factors including the dysregulation of genetic and epigenetic under the influence of microenvironment. It is evident that epigenetics that affects gene activity and expression has been recognized as a critical role in the carcinogenesis. Aside from DNA methylation, miRNA level, and genomic imprinting, histone modification is increasingly recognized as an essential mechanism underlying the occurrence and development of colorectal cancer. Aberrant regulation of histone modification like acetylation, methylation and phosphorylation levels on specific residues is implicated in a wide spectrum of cancers, including colorectal cancer. In addition, as this process is reversible and accompanied by a plethora of deregulated enzymes, inhibiting those histone-modifying enzymes activity and regulating its level has been thought of as a potential path for tumor therapy. This review provides insight into the basic information of histone modification and its application in the colorectal cancer treatment, thereby offering new potential targets for treatment of colorectal cancer.

Abstract
The controlled construction of organic heterostructured architectures derived from molecules with similar nucleation thresholds and concentrations has been rare and remains a great challenge. Herein, we report a sequential epitaxial growth to synthesize dual-color-emitting organic heterostructures with 9,10-bis(phenylethynyl)anthracene (BPEA) microwire trunks and tris-(8-hydroxyquinoline)aluminium (Alq3) microstructure branches by an anti-solvent induced sequential crystallization strategy. During the epitaxial growth process, the hydrogen-bonding interactions of the anti-solvent and solvent cause a large change in the solubility and crystallization rate of BPEA and Alq3 molecules in the mixed system, which facilitates sequential crystallization of organic molecule pairs with similar nucleation thresholds and concentrations into desired heterostructures by manipulating the synergism of anti-solvents and solvents. The Förster resonant energy transfer process in heterostructures could be modulated by varying the structure of heterostructures, such as the shape, amount and angles of the branches. The present synthesis strategy provides a unique insight into the detailed formation mechanism of complex organic heterostructures, further guiding the construction of more functional heterostructure materials.

Abstract
Objective: To analyze the change in mortality and major causes of death among Chinese adolescents aged 10-19 years from 1990 to 2016. Methods: Data of death for Chinese adolescents aged 10-19 years were extracted from the Global Burden of Disease Study 2016 (GBD 2016). The data was used to describe the change in mortality of Chinese adolescents from 1990 to 2016.Top 15 causes of death were compared between 1990 and 2016. Results: From 1990 to 2016, the all-cause mortality of Chinese adolescents aged 10-19 years old dropped from 102.5/100 000 to 41.2/100 000, reaching about a half of the global average (78.6/100 000) but still almost twice as high as the average of high-income countries (24.3/100 000) by 2016; the reduction in mortality was higher among females than that among males (decreased 68.7% vs. 54.7%), and among adolescents aged 10-14 years than that among those aged 15-19 years (decreased 62.1% vs. 57.1%). During the 26-year period, the cause-specific mortality of all top 15 causes saw sharp decreases. Among them, communicable, maternal, and nutritional diseases saw the most significant decrease (78.1%), and its proportion in all adolescent deaths fell from 11.1% to 6.1%. Meanwhile, non-communicable diseases and injuries saw relatively small decreases (58.2% and 57.3% respectively), and their proportions rose from 33.4% and 55.6% to 34.8% and 59.1%, respectively. The top 5 causes of death changed from drowning (17.39/100 000 in mortality, 17.0% in proportion), road injuries (14.77/100 000, 14.4%), self-harm (11.44/100 000, 11.2%), leukemia (5.48/100 000, 5.4%) and interpersonal violence (3.12/100 000, 3.0%) in1990 into road injuries (9.27/100 000, 22.5%), drowning (6.83/100 000, 16.6%), leukemia(2.73/100 000, 6.6%), self-harm (2.53/100 000, 6.2%) and congenital birth defects (1.76/100 000, 4.3%) in 2016, and tuberculosis, poisonings and rheumatic heart disease had dropped out of the top 15 in 2016. Conclusion: The mortality of Chinese adolescents aged 10-19 years has decreased significantly, but still higher than developed countries. Since 1990, injuries, especially for road injuries and drowning, have always been the leading causes of death among Chinese adolescents aged 10-19 years, followed by non-communicable diseases.

Abstract
Plant cryptochromes (CRYs) are blue-light receptors that regulate light-dependent growth, development, and circadian rhythms. A flavin adenine dinucleotide (FAD) cofactor is bound to the photolyase homology region (PHR) of plant CRYs and can be photoreduced to a neutral radical state under blue light. This photoreaction can trigger subsequent signal transduction. Plant CRYs can also bind an ATP molecule adjacent to FAD in a pocket of the PHR. Chlamydomonas reinhardtii contains a single plant CRY, named Chlamydomonas photolyase homologue 1 (CPH1). In CPH1, Cys392 and Asp393 are located near the FAD cofactor. Here we have shown that replacing Cys392 with Ser has little effect on the properties of CPH1. The C392N mutant, however, showed a faster photoreduction rate than wild-type CPH1, together with a significantly lower oxidation rate of the neutral radical state. Substituting an Asn residue for Asp393 in CPH1 improved the binding affinity for FAD as well as the stability of the neutral radical, but photoreduction in the case of this mutant was severely inhibited. In the presence of ATP, CPH1 and its mutants exhibited significantly higher binding affinity for FAD and slower oxidation of the neutral radical. These results reveal that the residues at site 392 and the presence of ATP can tune the stability of the neutral radical, that the Asp residue at site 393 is crucial for photoreduction, and that the photoreduction rate is not determined merely by the stability of the neutral radical in CPH1.

Abstract
Based on the apparent energy consumption data, a systematic and comprehensive city-level total carbon accounting approach was established and applied in Guangzhou, China. A newly extended LMDI method based on the Kaya identity was adopted to examine the main drivers for the carbon emissions increments both at the industrial sector and the residential sector. Research results are listed as follow: (1) Carbon emissions embodied in the imported electricity played a significant important role in emissions mitigation in Guangzhou. (2) The influences and impacts of various driving factors on industrial and residential carbon emissions are different in the three different development periods, namely, the 10th five-year plan period (2003-2005), the 11th five-year plan period (2005-2010), and the 12th five-year plan period (2010-2013). The main reasons underlying these influencing mechanisms were different policy measures announced by the central and local government during the different five-year plan periods. (3) The affluence effect (g-effect) was the dominant positive effect in driving emissions increase, while the energy intensity effect of production (e-effect-Production), the economic structure effect (s-effect) and the carbon intensity effect of production (f-effect-Production) were the main contributing factors suppressing emissions growth at the industrial sector. (4) The affluence effect of urban (g-effect-AUI) was the most dominant positive driving factor on emissions increment, while the energy intensity effect of urban (e-effect-Urban) played the most important role in curbing emissions growth at the residential sector.

Abstract
Kawasaki disease (KD) is an acute vasculitis, which leads to 20% of sufferers developing coronary artery aneurysm in children if not appropriately treated. Therefore, the early diagnosis of KD is essential for alleviating the risk of developing heart disease. MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are a large class of small non-coding RNAs which post-transcriptionally regulate gene expression and have been shown to play critical roles in numerous biological processes and diseases. In this study, we used high-throughput miRNA sequencing and found dozens of miRNAs are highly expressed in platelets. By comparing the miRNA expression profile of platelets of acute KD patients and other febrile patients, miR-222-3p is validated to be significantly upregulated in platelets of acute KD patients. Furthermore, KEGG pathway analysis shows that targets of miR-222-3p are enriched in immune-related signaling pathways. Our study uncovers the potential of miR-222-3p in platelets as biomarker for early diagnosis of Kawasaki disease.
