Abstract
The electrosurgical removal of polypoid lesions from the upper gastrointestinal tract with the esophagogastro-duodenoscope has proven to be a safe, effective, and relatively inexpensive procedure. Twenty-six polypectomies performed on 24 different patients are presented. Polyps were removed from the distal esophagus, stomach, duodenum, and jejunum. There were no significant complications.

Abstract
A case of Peutz-Jeghers polyposis associated with duodenal carcinoma but without cutaneous pigmentation was presented. Duodenal carcinoma is the most commonly associated neoplasm. The presence of vitiligo in this patient is coincidental. Of 14 reported cases of Peutz-Jeghers syndrome associated with intestinal carcinoma, in only two was the tumor shown to originate in the polyp. In our case, too, we believe the carcinoma developed independently.

Abstract
The different aspects of the Peutz-Jeghers syndrome are discussed following a case presentation of a 36-year-old woman with Peutz-Jeghers syndrome, sex cord tumor with annular tubules of Scully, mucinous metaplasia of tubal epithelium, and adenocarcinoma of the endocervix. The latter two findings have not been described with the syndrome and an attempt is made to correlate them with Peutz-Jeghers syndrome.

Abstract
The authors describe 6 cases of the Peuzt-Jeghers syndrome found in one family. The clinical, radiological, endoscopical, laboratorial and surgical points of view are discussed. Through these different diagnostic methods polyps in the esophagus (1 case), stomach (2 cases), small intestine (2 cases) and colon (4 cases) were identified. Of these patients the two with polyps in the small intestine were operated on for intestinal occlusion. In this paper the authors discuss, and doubt, the reported rarity of this syndrome, as well as the true frequency of distribution in the digestive tract.

Abstract
The association of cutaneous and mucosal pigmentation with gastrointestinal polyposis has been well-described as the Peutz-Jeghers syndrome. A case is described of a patient who has evidence of gastrointestinal polyposis, diffuse and circumscribed macular hyperpigmentation, a nasal polyp, and the additional features of buccal mucosal pigmented papillomas.

Abstract
The authors review a single case history of intestinal polyposis (Peutz-Jeghers syndrome) of a patient followed by them for eleven years. The paper includes a review of the pertinent literature. The present case was diagnosed as a result of the clinical observation of pigmented spots in the oral mucosa and crises of spasmodic abdominal pain accompanied by bowel movements containing mucus and blood. In other members of the family only a younger sister had slightly pigmented spots in the oral mucosa. None had radiologic findings suggestive of the syndrome of Peutz-Jeghers. Recently the patient under study suffered an intestinal intussuception which led to the surgical resection of a segment of small intestine and permitted pathologic confirmation of the diagnosis. Surgical resection of nodules in both breasts resulted in diagnoses of sclerosing adenosis in the left and an epidermoid cyst in the right.
