Abstract
A monoprotected aminoethyl amine chiral ligand based on an ethylenediamine backbone was developed to achieve Pd-catalyzed enantioselective C(sp3)-H arylation of cyclopropanecarboxylic and 2-aminoisobutyric acids without using exogenous directing groups. This new chiral catalyst affords new disconnection for preparing diverse chiral carboxylic acids from simple starting materials that are complementary to the various ring forming approaches.

Abstract
Pd(II)-catalyzed enantioselective γ-C(sp3)-H cross-coupling of alkyl amines via desymmetrization and kinetic resolution has been realized for the first time using chiral acetyl-protected aminomethyl oxazoline ligands (APAO). A diverse range of aryl- and vinyl-boron reagents can be used as coupling partners. The chiral γ-arylated alkylamine products are further transformed into chiral 2-substituted 1,2,3,4-tetra-hydroquinolines and spiro-pyrrolidines as important structural motifs in natural products and biologically active molecules.

Abstract
Secondary 1,3,2-diazaphospholenes have a polarized P-H bond and are emerging as molecular hydrides. Herein, a class of chiral, conformationally restricted methoxy-1,3,2-diazaphospholene catalysts is reported. We demonstrate their catalytic potential in asymmetric 1,4-reductions of α,β-unsaturated carbonyl derivatives, including enones, acyl pyrroles, and amides, which proceeded in enantioselectivities of up to 95.5:4.5 e.r.

Abstract
A trisubstituted chiral Cpx ligand family is introduced.
A trisubstituted chiral Cpx ligand family is introduced. Based on the disubstituted atropchiral Cpx ligand scaffold, the introduction of a bulky third substituent at the central position of the Cp ring leads to substantially increased selectivities for rhodium(iii)-catalyzed kinetic resolutions and allowed for s-factors of up to 50. Their superiority is demonstrated by kinetic resolutions of phosphinic amides providing access to compounds with stereogenic phosphorus(v) atoms. The unreacted acyclic phosphinic amide and the cyclized product are both obtained in good yields and enantioselectivities. The ligand synthesis capitalizes on a late stage modification and expands the accessible ligand Cpx ligand portfolio.
