Abstract
Herein we describe a catalyst-free, one-pot procedure employing an Ugi-4CR between propargyl glycine, functionalised 2-azidoanilines, different isocyanides and aldehydes, followed by a thermal azide-alkyne Huisgen cycloaddition to generate a 14-member set of amino-benzotriazolodiazocine-bearing dipeptides with multiple points of diversification and high atom economy. These structures were derivatized by means of Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling reactions at two positions with good to excellent yields, leading to conformationally constrained tricyclic structures. In silico and NMR conformational analysis studies demonstrated that turn conformations are adopted by these structures.

Abstract
This new microwave-assisted method provides a quick one-pot borylation/Suzuki protocol that does not require additional ligands nor double loading of catalyst.
The one-pot borylation/Suzuki reaction is a very efficient means of accessing cross-coupling products of two aryl-halide partners that generally requires the use of specific catalysts or ligands and/or relatively long reaction times. This new microwave-assisted method provides a quick one-pot borylation/Suzuki reaction protocol that we applied to the synthesis of various bi- or poly-aryl scaffolds, including a variety of aryl and heteroaryl ring systems and the core frameworks of kinase inhibitors vemurafenib and GDC-0879.

Abstract
A modified Pd-catalyzed method of forming aryl- and heteroarylboron species and a two-step, one-pot borylation/Suzuki-Miyaura cross coupling using the atom economical tetrahydroxydiboron (bis-boronic acid, BBA) is reported. By using ethylene glycol as an additive, the new method results in increased yields, lower BBA loading, faster reaction times, and a broader reaction scope, including previously problematic substrates such as heterocycles.

Abstract
A new pyridine-pyrazole N–N ligand has been conveniently synthesized and characterized by 1H-, 13C-NMR, IR spectroscopies, HRMS and X-ray single-crystal crystallography analyses. The ligand adds to palladium(II) under basic conditions to give high yields of an air-stable and water-soluble complex that was fully characterized by NMR and HRMS. The complex was investigated as a catalyst for the Suzuki reaction in aqueous media under microwave irradiation. The compound proved to be an effective catalyst.

Abstract
Suzuki-Miyaura coupling reactions are promoted by Pd complexes ligated with C2-symmetric multi-dentate N-heterocyclic carbenes derived in situ from Pd(OAc)2 and imidazolium salts. Good to excellent yields were obtained for aryl bromides as substrates. Turnover numbers of up to 105 could be achieved with 5 × 10−4 mol% of Pd(OAc)2/1 × 10−3 mol% NHC precatalyst in 24 h.
