Abstract
Herein, we report the catalytic activity of nebivolol nanoparticles a novel organocatalyst for the synthesis of DHPMs and DHPM-5-carboxamides. The nanoparticles are confirmed by DSC, TEM, AFM, and IR spectroscopy. The catalyst can be readily recovered and reused for the next four runs without any significant impact on the yields of the products. The products are fully characterized by FTIR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, and distortionless enhanced polarization transfer (DEPT) NMR. The methodology adopted here offers several advantages such as solvent-free reaction, low loading of catalyst, short reaction times, and quantifiable yields.

Abstract
The synthesis of 3,4-dihydropyrimidin-2(1H)-one derivatives was accomplished efficiently via a three-component reaction between ethyl acetoacetate, various types of aldehydes, and urea in the presence of 10 mg SO3H@imineZCMNPs as a novel, environment friendly, and reusable heterogeneous magnetic nanocatalyst under solvent-free conditions at 90 °C. The desired products were obtained with high quantitative yields. The catalyst was separated by simple isolation from the reaction mixture using a permanent magnet and reused several times without any significant loss of catalytic activity. The synthesized catalyst was fully characterized through various techniques including thermogravimetric analysis, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, and the Hammett acidity test. This methodology tolerates most substrates and has the salient features of green reaction conditions, lower catalyst loading, high quantitative yields, low cost, the absence of solvents, and easy isolation and reusability of the catalyst.

Abstract
Magnetically recoverable polysaccharide-based metallic nanoparticles Carrageenan moss/Fe3O4 (Fe3O4@CM) was tested for the synthesis of Pyrimidinone derivatives via Biginelli reaction under reflux conditions in Water. Interestingly, Fe3O4@CM prepared from unmodified Irish moss showed remarkable catalytic activity and recyclability. Low catalyst loading, simple reaction procedure, and using a green catalyst from a natural source are the important merits of this protocol.

Abstract
The remarkable activation of stable titanocene dichloride (Cp2TiCl2) was achieved using N-donor ligand urea in an alcoholic solvent, leading to the formation of a Ti(iv) species [(MeO)2Ti(NHCONH2)]+, the existence of which was verified by ESI-MS, ESI-MS/MS, and NMR. Catalyzed by the newly formed Ti(iv) species, a myriad of 3,4-dihydropyrimidin-2-(1H)-ones were produced via a three-component Biginelli reaction. Further mechanistic investigation indicated that the Biginelli reaction had taken place via the imine route. Stable titanocene dichloride (Cp2TiCl2) was activated by the N-donor ligand urea to form [(MeO)2Ti(NHCONH2)]+, which catalyzed the Biginelli reaction to produce 3,4-dihydropyrimidin-2-(1H)-ones.![]()

Abstract
Certain Biginelli pyrimidines with ester substitution in C5 were subjected to unexpected ring opening upon solvent-free reaction with hydrazine hydrate to give three products: pyrazole, arylidenehydrazines, and urea/thiourea, respectively. The nonisolable carbohydrazide intermediates are formed firstly followed by the intermolecular nucleophilic attack of terminal amino group of hydrazide function on sp2 C6 rather than the sp3 C4 to give the ring adduct which was produced as a final product.

Abstract
An efficient and practical protocol has been developed to synthesize dihydropyrimidinones and dihydropyrimidinethiones through FeCl3∙6H2O/TMSBr-catalyzed three-component cyclocondensation under microwave irradiation. This approach features high yields, broad substrate scope, short reaction time, mild reaction conditions, operational simplicity and easy work-up, thus affording a versatile method for the synthesis of dihydropyrimidinones and dihydropyrimidinethiones.

Abstract
Organocatalysts displaying a network of cooperative hydrogen bonds (NCHB) have been employed in an enzyme-like manner for a direct, switchable synthesis of enantiopure hexahydropyrimidinones (HHPMs) or dihydropyrimidinones (DHPMs), which starts at a common, easily accessible α-ureidosulfone stage. The NCHB organocatalyst exploits all its potential as a pure hydrogen-bond biomimetic catalyst even in the presence of organic bases. This one-pot, diastereo- and enantioselective synthetic procedure has been proven to be robust, scalable, highly efficient, and environmentally benign. A straightforward and truly practical entry to enantiopure HHPMs is reported for the first time.

Abstract
The synthesis of a novel phthalonitrile derivative with pyridine-2-thiol and 2,4,6-trimethylphenylamine substituents functionalized groups and its peripherally tetrasubstituted cobalt phthalocyanine and cationic phthalocyanines complexes were reported. The aggregation investigations carried out in different concentrations indicate that Co Phthalocyanines compounds 3,4 do not have any aggregation behavior for the concentration range of 6×10(-4)-14×10(-6)M in DMSO. The ion binding properties of Co Phthalocyanines compounds 3,4 show the formation of stable complex with Co(2+). In addition 3,4-Dihydropyrimidin-2(1H)-one derivatives were synthesized by modified Biginelli cyclocondensation reaction catalyzed by MPc as Lewis base. The structures of the synthesized compounds have been successfully characterized by the spectroscopic methods (IR, (1)H NMR, (13C)NMR, UV-Vis, mass spectrometry, elemental analysis and NMR 2D). The influence of substrate/catalyst ratio, solvent was also investigated to find optimal reaction on this synthesis for getting the highest conversion. Different parameters were examined for finding optimal conditions of catalysis. In addition; the compounds 3-11 were investigated for antimicrobial activity. Most of them exhibited important antimicrobial activity.
