Abstract
By adopting pyrazole to the system of Ln(hfac)3·2H2O with the strong electron-withdrawing effect, a D2d-symmetry DyIII mononuclear single-molecule magnet containing a monodentate N-heterocyclic ligand was designed and synthesized.
