Abstract
C(sp3)–S bond formation was achieved utilizing C(sp3)–H and S–H as the nucleophile. Methyl arenes, cycloalkanes and aliphatic ketones exhibited reactivity for this transformation. Mechanistic studies revealed that the C(sp3) radical and disulfide were the intermediates in the reaction.
