Abstract
Upon catalyst and substrate encapsulation, an amphiphilic dendrimer containing 27 triethylene glycol termini and 9 intradendritic triazole rings serves as a catalytic nanoreactor by considerably accelerating the Cu(I)-catalyzed alkyne-azide cycloaddition (CuAAC) "click" reactions of various substrates in water using the catalyst Cu(hexabenzyltren)Br (tren = triaminoethylamine). Moreover this recyclable nanoreactor with intradendritic triazole rings strongly also activates the simple Sharpless-Fokin catalyst CuSO4 + sodium ascorbate in water under ambient conditions leading to exceptional TONs up to 510,000. This fully recyclable catalytic nanoreactor allows to considerably decrease the amount of this cheap copper catalyst down to industrially tolerable residues, and some biomedical and cosmetic applications are exemplified.

Abstract
The introduction of robust redox groups at the periphery of common amine-terminated dendrimers is of interest in the design of dendritic nanobatteries, sensors, and redox catalysts. Here we are applying the recently discovered uncatalyzed hydroamination of ethynylcobalticenium, a mild "green" reaction that quantitatively yields trans-enamines without the formation of any byproduct, to functionalize dendrimers that are terminated with primary or secondary amino groups. Poly(amido amine) (PAMAM) dendrimers terminated by primary amino groups and arene-centered dendrimers terminated by secondary amino groups yield dendrimers that contain up to 81 trans-enamine-cobalticenium termini using this reaction. The hydroamination reaction was also conducted with dendrimers that contained ferrocenylmethylamino groups, which yielded dendrimers that contained both ferrocenyl and cobalticenium termini. The size of the dendrimers was investigated using both dynamic light scattering and diffusion-ordered spectroscopy (DOSY) (1)H NMR spectroscopy, and the number of electrons involved in heterogeneous multielectron transfers at electrodes was searched by cyclic voltammetry. The latter works well up to the 27-branch dendrimer, whereas the 81-dendrimer yielded a result in an excess amount (110 electrons) owing to adsorption onto the cathode that becomes all the more significant as the metallodendrimer size increases.

Abstract
The beginning of the 20(th) century marked the dawn of modern medicine with glycan-based therapies at the forefront. However, glycans quickly became overshadowed as DNA- and protein-focused treatments became readily accessible. The recent development of new tools and techniques to study and produce structurally defined carbohydrates has spurred renewed interest in the therapeutic applications of glycans. This review focuses on advances within the past decade that are bringing glycan-based treatments back to the forefront of medicine and the technologies that are driving these efforts. These include the use of glycans themselves as therapeutic molecules as well as engineering protein and cell surface glycans to suit clinical applications. Glycan therapeutics offer a rich and promising frontier for developments in the academic, biopharmaceutical, and medical fields.

Porous [M4Cl4L2] framework complexes with gismondine zeolite topology, manifesting a tetrahedral ligand ‘imprinting’, which stimulates the realization of effectively tetrahedral metal-tetrazolato/chlorido clusters, are in the focus of the report.

Abstract
It has been reported that delivery systems based on dendritic prodrugs of Nonsteroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs) improved the properties of drug molecules and reduced the side effects and irritation on the gastric mucosa. To find a more effective way in NSAIDs dendritic prodrugs, in this paper, three different dendritic scaffolds of enzymatically cleavable naproxen conjugates have been synthesized in a convergent approach and well characterized by NMR and MS techniques. These self-immolative dendritic NISADs prodrugs programmed to release multiple molecules of the potent naproxen after a single enzymatic activation step, and in 50% human plasma, the drug released from the compound T3 reaching 47.3% after 24h in vitro assay. Moreover, all prodrugs were also found to maintain more significant anti-inflammatory activity, no significant cytotoxicity against HEK293 cells and less degree of ulcerogenic potential in vivo than their monomeric counterpart naproxen. These results provided an effective entry to the development of new dendritic NSAIDs prodrugs.

Abstract
Self-assembly of nanoparticles (NPs) into tailored structures is a promising strategy for the production and design of materials with new functions. In this work, 2D arrays of iron oxide NPs with interparticle distances tuned by grafting fatty acids and dendritic molecules at the NPs surface have been obtained over large areas with high density using the Langmuir-Blodgett technique. The anchoring agent of molecules and the Janus structure of NPs are shown to be key parameters driving the deposition. Finally the influence of interparticle distance on the collective magnetic properties in powders and in monolayers is clearly demonstrated by DC and AC SQUID measurements. The blocking temperature T(B) increases as the interparticle distance decreases, which is consistent with the fact that dipolar interactions are responsible for this increase. Dipolar interactions are found to be stronger for particles assembled in thin films compared to powdered samples and may be described by using the Vogel Fulcher model.
